My name is Susie Brown, I'm from Small Moon Pack and every year there is a small party that all pack members have to attend to celebrate everyone's first shift. "You are going to be the cutest she wolf at the Pack House party and that will make me the most sexy Alpha alive" say's Mykel, he is to be Alpha of Moon Pack. A tall built hunk, with cute brown eyes and shoulder length hair that's light brown, like any other Alpha he is six feet and three inches tall, square face with the sweetest smile and button nose, always in a long cotton shirt with baggy pants, bennie and sneakers.

This year I turn 18, others that share my birthday month are also going to be there and I am so happy to finally have my wolf. I am wearing a high slit satin dress, with my jet black hair in a messy bun, I see how his eyes flicker from watching me in this dress, I am taking it. The most exciting part is to find my mate. "I will take it if you buy it for me?" I say looking back at him with my honey green eyes in a pouty face.

He comes closer to twirl me, "anything for my girl," he says kissing my fingers, can my day get any better? I hurry to take the dress off so I can finish my shopping. I have been dating Mykel for a while, childhood friends, he is to be Alpha of Moon Pack the next door pack, as I take my size 8 dress off I think about the outfit he will wear to match me, he is the sweetest, kindest and fun guy I have ever met. I secretly hope he is my mate, I bite my lip just thinking of being his. I would make my relationship work, unlike my parents who divorced because they chose each other, I shake my head from that old memory.

I put myself presentable in my jeans, stilettos, and crop top, leaving my black hair down, it looks really good today, my bags make me look cute today, having a bigger rear end is kinda hard to hide but I don't care. I take my purse, cell, and dress to give them to Mykel, I go back to grab my frappuccino. Walking out my cell vibrates, twice, I pick it up and it's from my twin Samie and my best Kilala, I call her Kia for short, or I just la la la when she rants at me for being with Mykel more than I spend it with her, she is an omega in the packhouse, a cute little blond with dark gray eyes and really petite.

"Ready to finish shopping baby?" asks Mykel while I reply to my two girls. I put a finger up that holds my frappuccino, he kisses my finger and licks it, "ew babe", he grins at my answer. "Hey! Want mom and me to go to the party with you? Mom says she can, we want to meet your wolf Su!" texts my twin, my mom is Luna to the Still Green Pack, she found she was mated to the Alpha there, but they never had kids, it was always me and my twin. "Sure will let dad know, it's at 8 pm sharp" I replied to her fast, her reply felt like forever so I simply texted Kia that I will see her in the packhouse later.

Putting my cell away, I hold his free hand as we walk out of the store and into the mall. I always get the stares from the other chicks when I am with my man, I know I have the best boyfriend ever. We get him a nice blazer and our shoes, as I am modeling my pick of shoes for my dress his cell vibrates, his face changes fast making me know it's Alpha Jaime, the guy is evil, I feel bad for this pack with their new Alpha.

"Everything okay babe?" I ask knowing he isn't, I wait for him afraid he will get mad and leave, that's the effect Jaime has, big pain in every way, I have my hands on my hips waiting as I keep turning my leg to see how my body looks from other angles in these heels, thing satin color heels.

He smacks my butt and pulls me closer, his eyes dark-colored, I smile teasingly, he has his cell in his hand and I see Jaime text him again, I bit my lower lip annoyed, "I have shoes at home, let's buy yours so we can get Alpha Lame's meeting", he says standing up, holding my dress.

Taking my seat and removing my heel, he takes them in the box to walk and pay for them. I put my heels back on when my cell vibrates for the fifth time, I take it out and it's Alpha Lame calling me, what the? I pick it up as I walk to Mykel.

"Hey, what's up?" I say to Jaime, as I walk out of the store because I know he will throw major shade at me for being with Mykel instead of him being at Jamie's side, I am used to his insults when Mykel is not around, I stand in the middle of the mall where other chairs are lined up, one hand with my cell and the other under my chest hugging me, with a poker face.

I hear him breathing heavily, "Get Mykel here now, wasting his time with you is going to make our pack week, can't you see how important tonight's activity is? Just because your mom is the Luna, do you think the world circles around your fat ass? Mykel better is here before I hang up this call or-" I hang up the call instead, I take deep breaths as I feel Mykel grab my hips and kiss my cheek.

Arriving at the back of the mall is where the Small Moon's Pack House is, at the curve to the front stairs of the three-floor of a packhouse, the house is completely see thru from the front first floor and back but the top two are covered in shades, the front is all glass, I can see Kia running around with other omegas as they are getting the place ready, making me chuckle a little, the front has a tall fence that is connected to the big metal in the sides of the door, the place has a lot of trees around and bushes.

I see my mom and sister are out waiting for me, I was not expecting to see them, I miss my twin so much and mom looks wonderful. My dad is the Gamma of Jaime's pack so I have to see him here. Dad isn't a bad guy but he is not a PDA kinda guy, Mykel gives the keys to omega and walks to open my door, getting out I almost fall over with having my sister hug me, I hug her back missing her more than I thought.

"I have missed you so much, I know it's just 5 pm but we needed to be early to oversee things too, you know Luna's job never ends", she says letting go, Samie is just like me a size 8 we share a lot of our clothes like shirts and pants but Samie is more round face as I am the square face, we both have button noses like our mom, she has her slightly black waved hair that's above her chest and its part in the center, walking up the stairs to a very pissed of Jaime, my mom hugs me next with a warm embrace.

"Will you come with me to my room sweetheart, there's something I want to talk to you about, alone. Sam follow me please." She says as we walk upstairs, almost passing the Alpha.

"Sure, where is your room?" I ask her, trying to avoid the Alphas gaze.

She tugs on my hand and we walk into the big open double doors, the center has a small fountain with white tiles, a chandelier, and two sets of stairs that go up to the second floor, behind the fountain in the hall to the gathering room, next to the kitchen where I see Kia run into, she is busy today, I wonder how she could text me so sudden, we walk up to the second floor where the meetings are held, I know all of this because I had to attend as Mykels girlfriend or as a substitute for either mom or dad. There are only 5 rooms on this floor, unlike other packs, this packhouse doesn't hold anyone that's not the omegas or the visiting Alphas with Lunas.

The middle room is the Alphas office, the two on the sides are just for meetings. The third floor is where mom and Samie are staying, it's also where all other Alpha and Luna stay. The Alpha lives in the back of the packhouse above the small mountain. He designed it when he took over last year, staying in one of the rooms of the packhouse till it was done. It's a fancy house but I haven't seen it. I enter behind Samie when mom locks the door, Samie sighs.

"What's going on mom?" I say as I walk to sit in a small armchair that's in the small living room.

"I wanted to tell you before anything happens, only you will know this apart from Samie," She says as she takes her own seat in a love seat with Samie.

"Remember the red wolf story?" say's my mother with a nervous voice as she plays with her fingers in her lap, she seems a bit more nervous then she was when I hugged her downstairs.

I smile at her knowing of that story, "everyone knows of that story, we all heard it at school when we were pups mom." I tell her with a small snicker, Samie sighs and rolls her eyes like i'm missing the point of something, 'what' I mouth at her surprised she is actually reacting like that what gives.

Samie looks up and shakes her head, I roll my eyes at her "If you know it mind telling me, kinda wanna know your version, pppplllleeeeaaaasssseee?" Samie tells me with a big sarcastic grin and holding her hands together like a drama girl, mom giggles at her response with drama and shakes her head.

I close my eyes and take a breather "Okay? Well there once was a wolf, a big red colored wolf, who did no harm to anyone, he met different creatures, lived in different places, but he liked being with humans more than any other, one day he became friends with the humans, he even fell in love with one, turns out she was his fated mate." I say, remembering when my mom used to make the voices for the creatures, like the goblin, the vampire and I think an elf too, made me giggle.

I breath a bit more feeling my head hurt a little "one day his mate had a baby, after the baby was born, his mate got sick and he prayed to The Moon Goddess so she can heal her, The Moon Goddess saw how much he loved her, how good he was tp all the creatures, so she blessed him with the power to heal any wound she had, when he was blessed he was turned into a big red wold."

I reenacted my mom's version because it was the only one that got stuck "but it came with a price." I stopped for a moment because my cell vibrated. I was going to get it but my mom put her hand to have my cell, I sigh heavily and I passed it to her, after I sat back down, I continued.

"Each time he would heal her, a year of his life was taken away, so he could only use it when it was really necessary. Before he died The Moon Goddess said that his gift of healing others would be passed on to all his children, every last one of them. The end." I say as I put my hands on the sides like taking a bow, remembering how my mom used to tell it, I felt kinda silly saying an old kids story.

We laugh a little at my drama, but it's the story every child knows apart from the hunters and other creatures, why was she getting me to think about that when all I want is to meet my wolf and mate, guess it was sorta cute to get my head out of the nerves, or am I missing something here, my mom puts my cell down the small coffee table in between us.

I pick it up as she goes on to talk, "Sue, when tonight you get your wolf, please don't run with the pack, as a mother and Luna I ask you don't, I know my pack is very far from here but I need to make sure you and Samie are well with your first shift, hopefully you get your wolf tonight honey, if you don't it's okay. We can always wait for the full moon or just live as it is."

All this she says with a trembling voice, but what has me really nervous is my mom doesn't look at me and I feel a pang of fear. Does she know something I don't? Won't Samie also go thru this, I need Mykel, I start to reply to Mykel, when my mom stands up.

So I stop typing the text I was just about to send, "Mom what do you mean if I don't get my wolf? Of course I am going to get my wolf, why are you asking me about a kids story and then saying I won't have a wolf, is this some kind of mean joke?" she doesn't answer me instead my cell starts vibrating and I see Mykel is calling me.

I pick it up to talk to him but my mom tries to stop me instead. I look at her confused and a bit angry, wondering what she was hiding from me on my birthday. And I was really annoyed at how Samie is just there like nothing is bothering her, seriously.

"Hello? Baby are you there? I was getting worried that you took off without telling me anything, do you need me for something? Sue?" he sounds a bit worried that I never replied to him, guess he missed me a lot.

I smile at how worried he is for me, "Hi, no I haven't left just having some girl time with mom, how did things go?'' I look at how my mom sighs heavily, she is worried for me too but with what? After this small story telling and telling me what not to do. I give it no real importance, I go and hug her with my cell still in my ear.

I hear him breathing a bit faster,"Lame wants me to help him build some wall and stuff, but I have my own pack to take care of, he is just being a brat, hopefully after today I do not have to come back here. I don't mind saying hi to your dad or Kia you know it's just.... Ugh it's" He says with one big irritated groan, mom and me giggle.

I let go of her so she can go in her room as Sam follows her, "yup on the lame part, I totally agree, he needs to get his s**t together, listen baby would you mind if I stay with mom and Sam? They want to hang out with me and get ready together, meet me at 7:30?" bit my lips hoping he is okay with it, Mykel is a little possessive with me and I like it but he can get pretty scary sometimes.

He breathed a bit heavy, "I will pass by with your dress, shoes and get the makeup bag from your dad's with some fast food, sounds good? Get Kia to take the stuff when I drop them up front or I will drop them myself.", I smiled at his reply. I hope he does drop by so I can see you for a small bit, please?" I cross my fingers, "Sure see you soon Sue."

He hung up like nothing, no good bye babe, no I can't wait to see you. Maybe I asked too much of him today, I will make it up to him later, my mom walks back looking at my cell, she looks at me worried after I spoke to him like he owns me, it makes him happy to hear I belong to him. I like it, sorta, I hang up and Sam hugs me.

Over her shoulders she asks "Mom, why are we not allowed to run with Alpha Jaime's pack? I mean aren't we going to get in trouble if we do that?" Samie asks my unspoken question. But my mom just hugs us both tight.

"Samie, our pack has other rules that help us more than they help the ones of this pack. I have my reasons, just do as I ask and nothing bad will happen, okay Sue and Sam?" are her words, they get me more confused, it's like she has to hide whatever she really wants to say, we both nod, someone knocks on the door, when I open it I get a flying Kia on me with two more omegas that are bringing my moms bag and dinner.

"I can't wait to find my mate tonight! Aren't you excited!" she says jumping up and down like a little bunny, making me giggle at her cute jumps.

"Yea, I am dying to find my hunk, do you have any idea who it might be for you Kia? I hear the Beta has no mate yet, what if it's you?" I say as I help the other omerga set the food, for her to leave, once the omega leaves the door is stopped by someone's foot.

Jaime POV

"Let me in now, Susie." I say as I can hear them talking amongst them, I need these moments to make up for the horrible choices my dad and I took, how the hell was I supposed to know she would be a Luna. Ugh, "Maybe they are busy Jaime, leave them be", says my Beta Callum, I breathe heavily knowing I really don't need this right now.

As we walk in I can see who is in the room surprised to see Kia one of my omegas here, she is lucky Callun as a freaking crush on her, the girl is no way in our level of command, but Callum feels otherwise, he better be telling me the truth or I am banishing her, one less mouth to feed.

I stop in front of the Luna, yea I know I am in just gym shorts with Callum but maybe I get some points by being her secret model, "I am sorry for interrupting this gathering but I wanted to make sure you were being well taken cared of Luna Reemy and Samie, it has been some time since we last saw each other.'' With a smile on my face,Reemy was kicked out when she divorced my Gamma with Susie and Sam, uncommon to hear but it happens, they were never fated but chosen, then one day she met her fated, Alpha Dante.

Susie came back a couple of years ago because her dad was in a Rogue attack, knowing she doesn't trust my dad and me.

Susie POV

I stand at the door just stary, trying not to drool, I mean i have Mykel, I like him a lot but when Jaime is around I don't know I just,"Thank you, we are all fine, we will see you at 8, Alpha Jaime and Beta Callum." My mom says in a dry voice, she does not like him one bit, not long after Mykel enter's with like 4 boxes of pizza and two bags on his other hand that has my dress on top, I forgot the door was still open, startelling us all even Beta Callum.

"S**t did you scare the wolf out of me, Mykel, what are you doing all that by yourself? Where are the omegas?" says Callum, who is still nervous, Kia is holding a small giggle after his reaction, she goes to Mykel and grabs his bags, leaving him with just the pizza boxes.

"Well don't we have a full house?" He comes over and kisses me. I knew he wasn't that mad at me, I'm a good girl, as Alpha and Beta leave the room, Mykel waits for me to make sure I have everything and when I do he leaves us all but takes 2 boxes. Saying it's his tip for the trouble, I laugh at that.

We eat the food and chill for a bit as mom tells me the new member in her pack and the random attacks of Rogues that have been going, I got a bit scared when Samie said there are new Hunters on the area, I overheard Mykel say something about that not too long ago but that wasn't so close as being near the border of the packhouse.

Hunters have always wanted to use us werewolves for their own gain, they still believe the legends and kids stories of the Gemini wolf, the Healing wolf, the Spinks and stuff like that. Almost finished with the food I see. It's already 7 and I quickly swallow my food to go get a shower before anyone else.

I enjoy taking my time in the shower, putting on my lotions of roses and honey, I put on my clothes and start doing my hair in loose curls, I leave it down. I put on a smokey eye, mascara and blush with peach lipstick, I get my heels on and turn to the full mirror on the bedroom.

I check myself to make sure nothing looks bad, I walk out to see everyone ready, my mom is wearing s triples red over the knee dress with a french braid in heels, Kia is in a tight, leather turtleneck dress, purple colored with a simple cat eye and pink lips, she has a ponytail on her small square head and Samie is in a green spaghetti dress with flats.

Once we are down, I am surprised to see Beta Callum is there also dressed in purple, he sees Kia coming down and she blushes a bit, I gaaww at them being all cute but he looks daggers at me so I quickly stop. Samie goes with a tuxedo dad to the ball, mom goes with her mate, Alpha Dante and I don't see Mykel but walking down to the last step I bump into Alpha Lame, greate.

Jaime POV

Later in the night I started doing my greetings. everyone that comes in is going to drive me insane, I need to pull one out or something, do you hear me Kai? I tell my wolf, knowing I have no mate to ravish, makes this part of "Alpha moral" even more a pain in my furry ass. "Good night Alpha Jaime, how has the building been going?" Asks Alpha Dante with his actitud, I get it I have a reputation, big deal, he's Susie's step dad, I place a fake smile at his question and extend my hand at the man, we shake.

"I have yet to finish seeing as Alpha Mykel is in doubts, but I might take his advice on placing his warriors to protect that area, just to finish this my pack can't take another hit like it did a while ago" I tell the guy, all while looking for Susie now that I am thinking again of her, the woman is a sassy big mouth that can get on my last nerves, but man is she hot. Hard to believe she is in lockdown with Mykel, my hero.

He takes his hand away, "I would think of that a bit more than simply accept, perhaps there's another pack that can help you", he answers me with a cocky smile well let's see if he is in or not. "Are you offering?".

He starts to actually laugh at my question, then he starts to walk behind me, it seems odd he would be here so early considering his pack is literally day's away from mine yet...

"Hello cutie!" howls Kai and actually howls at the sight of Susie. Wow. I stay rooted to the ground as I see Susie walk in her tight dress, leaving very little to the imagination. That's a really woman's body man would I want to have that tonight, the hit of her smell of chocolate and strawberries get my wolf all riled up again.

"Tell me you can smell that Kai" I ask my wolf, a big dark brown with my eyes, the wolf hasn't allowed me to be with zero she wolfs after the first 4 months of shifting, I feel like the guy wants me in celibacy for sure. "She is mate, hopefully" he answers with annoyance.

I walk a bit closer as she is looking for her fake puppy of a boyfriend. "Been holding for 2 years and 8 months, we mate tonight" I chuckle at his statement but I am annoyed, he is the one making me hold not the other way, "what if she has no wolf?" I saw walking a bit faster.

"Then we get rid of her, no point on a wofless girl" shaking his head. I approve of that, maybe he will let me have a go on rounds? "Yes, but don't overdo it, pick a good Luna." I roll my eyes, of course I want a Luna, I stay still in front of the stairs she is walking down and she bumps into me, perfect.

She puts her hand on my chest, as she does I feel a hand on my shoulders, I look on my back and there is Mykel too charming snob, what does she see in this guy anyway's. "A rogue is never good news", can't deny facts, he has her brainwashed, I shake my shoulder to him and pin Susie as I hear another person take his attention.

Holding her hands in the side of the stairs, I put my nose on the side of her neck breathing her scent. "Looks like you are asking for my attention cutie Susie" she tries to push me away, I place one hand on her neck and the other on her hip, "now why would you want to hurt me? For all you know we are, more closer than this." I kiss her forehead and Mykel pushes me away from her.

I straightened my blue navy suit and fixed myself, "glad you could join us Mykel". I say rolling my sleeves back up,Susie hugs him tight, "You scared of just that like? Some Gamma's daughter I have, scared of the Big Bad Alpha?" I laugh at that joke as does the rest of my pack.

"Picking on her is a low blow Alpha Lame", Mykel responds with a smirk as he rubs her back to calm her, why does that bother me so much? "She is mate!" my wolf tells me again, but if she was, she would be the one to feel it too.

I look at my watch and it's already going to be 10, I smile at that. "I do what I want to my pack, all my intentions are good, right Cutie Susie?" my smirk at calling her that is in full display till she goes ahead and ruins my fun. "I am so glad I don't have to stay with a Lame excuse for an Alpha, Baby can we please go?" she asks Mykel that starts to walk away with her, tsk. We will see.

Mykel POV

Finally back in the room Jaime gave me. After I place my clothes out, I shower, taking my time before I get my drama classes back up. Can't wait for all of this to end, I can't stand Susies sassy actitud, needy b****y mood, a good smack on her would help her learn her place, wouldt be the first time she earns one either, but since dearest mom and dad divorced, she has been this broken puppy, easy to see when you get to know her.

I met her at a gathering. She was with her dad the Gamma of this pack, I was with a witch disguised as a wolf, when she told me what I have been dying to get my hands on, the red wolf is her, my grandfather was beyond excited to plan her capture, the witch is my fated mate but I need Susie so I had to be on a very long break, when this is over my girl will punish Susie for taking her place.

I just hate Susie in general, she is not my type, in fact she is everything but a woman. The first time I hit her she was in complete shock, but I quickly saw what I did so I hugged her and begged her to not leave me, because I will change for her. Ou I will change alright, but I won't hug her ever again.
