I am The Alpha's Weakness

Author: : ChikitaLore
Genre: Werewolf
I love him and we are mated. He is mine, and I am his to tame. We love each other unconditionally, and they call me the Alpha's weakness.

Chapter 1 1

Josh inquires, "You want me to put it on?" as he examines the mask that Elijah had brought back from Oaken. "Is that what you wanted?"

After our time at the beach, we made our way back to Anaheim Hills. Before Elijah jolted me awake with a sudden wake-up call, I had fallen asleep in the car. It was then that I noticed we were in the tunnels. Before I got out of the car and went inside, I checked my phone and noticed that everyone in the pack had sent me a text message. In essence, they were informing me that today was the night that everything went to hell and that they had discovered who the Brute was. It was Cole, which was a complete surprise, given that he was not even a chimera. I responded to all of them via text message and informed them that I would be at Oliver's house the following morning.

Through the tunnels, we made our way through the corridors until we located the operating theater once more, at which point we entered it. While Josh was admiring the mask that was resting on the table, I noticed that Jessey was standing by the back of the room. Noah was still sitting in the same spot as he had been a couple of days previously.

At this moment, I am standing next to Elijah. In the midst of the temptation to put on the mask, Josh's eyes begin to fill with worry.

Elijah adds in a low voice, "Yeah," and I shake my head, praying that this young person decided not to do it. The mask appeared to be terrifying, and it appeared for all intents and purposes that it might kill you.

Jessey says, "You won't die if you put it on," while casting a glance in Elijah's direction. During the time that jealousy was raging through my body, I scowled my eyes at her. While Elijah was looking back at Josh, I moved closer to her and leaned in closer.

Anxiety is audible in his voice as he asks, "How do you know that? Or is it just that you don't want to put it on yourself?" He is expressing his concern.

"Or you?" Josh says, looking squarely at Elijah and focusing his remarks on him as he continues to gaze at him.

"I'm not afraid to do it, Josh. I'm just not stupid," Elijah says in response, and I scoff a little bit as Elijah throws his arm around my waist. "I'm just the opposite of stupid."

In response to Jessey's statement, "Are you not getting that it could kill us? You're the one with the power," I roll my eyes at her and hope that she just puts the darn thing on so that it puts an end to her babbling.

As Noah suggests, "They want you to wear it, Josh, because the properties of the mask are based on electromagnetism. Pick it up, and you'll see what I mean."

As Josh turns around, takes up the mask, and then turns back to face us, you can hear the electricity emanating from it. He stares down at it with a worried expression on his face.

What exactly is this thing?" Josh inquires while continuing to glance down at it.

It is a product of both genius and insanity. Too frequently, two characteristics can be found in the same thinking. The man who created the first was known only as 'The Surgeon.' Using practices in the farthest edges of pseudoscience, he harnesses electromagnetic fields in the masks, infusing them with a unique and deadly power." Noah explains as I notice Josh hold up the mask, about to put it on, until he suddenly stops and puts it down.

The thing is not going to be placed on by me. Do you wish to be informed about who it is? "You should do it yourself," Josh says as he walks over to the side and crosses his arms. I smile at him as he does that and choose not to melt his head off with the silly mask.

I congratulate myself and say, "Good job, kid." Jessey gives me a sneer, and Elijah gives me a look.

"What is it? While I am gazing around, I add, "I seriously did not want to see this kid's head melt off because of a damn stupid mask that some crazed scientist decided to build." I notice that Josh is smiling slightly while Elijah is rolling his eyes and tightening his grip around my waist. Jessey scoffs and turns around.

After remaining there for some time, Elijah and I made the decision to eventually leave and travel back to my loft. The majority of the time, the vehicle ride was devoid of conversation because I was exhausted and eager to get back home.

I instantly go and lie down on my bed as I hear Elijah chuckle from where the couch is located. We get back to the loft together, and we both walk in together.

"What is it?" I inquire, just a little bit, getting up.

"Not a thing. It is my sincere regret that we had to rush to get there. While he is lying next to me after removing his jacket, he comments, "It's not exactly how I wanted to spend the last couple of hours of our date night."

"Don't worry about it. It was funny witnessing a youngster about to melt his brain." I laugh slightly, and he does, too. I got up to get dressed in cozy clothes while Elijah did the same thing. We both climbed into bed at the same time. I placed my head down on his chest as he started slowly stroking my hair.

"I hope you had a good time today, princess," he whispers to me as he applies a gentle kiss to my head.

I mutter, "I did," before allowing my eyes to close and allowing the darkness to take over.

Chapter 2 2

Thomas begins to explain, "My dad's got an APB out," as we all reassemble around Oliver's kitchen table. Once again, we are all gathered there.

I woke up this morning and made my way to Oliver's place, exactly as I had promised I would do the night before. We had been waiting for Oliver to finally come down as we had been talking about it.

Akemi inquired, "For a 16-year-old who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall?"

With the typical sarcastic tone that he employs, Thomas replies, "I suggested a werewolf that was nine feet tall and was on a rampage."

James adds with a tiny frown on his face, "It still might not be him," as Oliver steps into the kitchen with a slight smile on his face. Oliver is the one who is entering the kitchen.

I give him a pat on the back, look over at Oliver, and smile at him while I talk to him. "Baby beta, it's definitely him," I remark.

A sigh escapes James as he says, "Okay, but Adam is at the school looking."

Eloise remarks, "I am able to continue checking the woods."

As soon as Oliver says, "My mom can check all the hospitals in the county. We can find him," everyone stops what they are doing and focuses their attention on him.

When James inquired, "What happens then?" I frowned my brow at Oliver and asked him the same question.

In response, Oliver says, "We figure out a way to save him," and all of us nod our heads in agreement with this statement.

The question that I hear Charlotte ask is, "Okay. Where else could we look?"

When Oliver says, "Let's ask Corey," I glance at him, perplexed as to what he meant by that statement. Out of nowhere, he drags a youngster who appears to be terrified from behind the wall.

With a terrified expression on his face, Corey stamps his foot and says, "Wait. Wait. It's not my fault. They took him, and I couldn't do anything. They took him."

"Who?" it is that Oliver inquires.

When he responded, "The Disquietude Doctors," we all let out a collective sigh.

I had received a text message from Elijah in which he requested that I see him once more in the operating room. Consequently, I drove there after Oliver's, informing them that I would meet them at school instead. I informed Oliver of my intended destination, and he concurred with my decision.

Jessey brought over a jar of claws as I was standing close to Elijah and leaning against a table on the other side of the table. During the time that she was placing them on the table*; she stared at Elijah with a look of bewilderment at what he was doing.

She asks, "What about these?" in response.

The response that Elijah gives is, "They are useless if we do not know who it is." I am aware that they are discussing the Brute and the possible identities. Yet, I am still trying to determine whether or not Cole was the Brute. I groan and look down, acting as if I have no idea what I'm talking about.

"Actually, they're just useless. Didn't Adam mention that? Where is she, by the way? I hope her moment of dissent didn't turn into actual desecration." Noah then interrupts. I simply rolled my eyes in response to his statements, and he took a big breath.

"What about the other one? Corey? None of us can see him blind or otherwise. So I'm guessing he's not here either." He says, and then Josh leans up from the railing he was leaning on and scoffs. "What about the other one?"

He declares, "I'm leaving," and then begins to walk out of the room. However, Jessey steps in front of him and stops him from leaving.

"Oh, there goes another," Noah adds once more, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. His jaw was clenched as tightly as it could possibly be, and I could tell that Elijah was becoming increasingly upset because he was acting like a dickhead.

He continues to hold out his fingers and push them so that they are closer together, signifying that the circle of trust that you have is getting smaller. "Your circle of trust is narrowing for you."

The impatient Elijah replies, "Your voice is getting on my nerves," and Noah breaks out with a broad smile. "I'm getting irritated with your voice."

Furthermore, "Paralyze his tongue," Elijah continues. I furrow my brow, fully aware that it will not be of any use in light of the fact that he is so powerful.

"Elijah, babe, trust me, that won't work," I say as Jessey flicks out her claws and moves over to Noah, but she stops when she hears his voice. "It's not going to work," I add. It appeared as though Elijah had ignored me, and I laughed it off.

I noticed that Elijah's expression changed to one of confusion as he looked across to Jessey and then back to Noah. He asked, "Tell me something, Jessey. Just how powerless were you before all of this happened?" I saw a perplexed look come on Elijah's face. As Noah begins to stand up from his position, he adds, "In my experience, it is the truly powerless who are all too eager to demonstrate their newly discovered strength. Therefore, allow me to demonstrate something more helpful to our cause. Trust." In spite of the fact that his expression is becoming even more perplexed, Elijah gives me a tiny shove back.

In a low voice, I murmured to Elijah, "I told you," and he gave me a look in response.

Noah states further, "I told you that I wanted Oliver Valor's eyes, and that is the reason why I allowed you to take me." As he began to remove the item that was wrapped around his arm, I could not help but stare at him in astonishment.

Chapter 3 3

He takes a deep breath in as he removes the rope that is attached to his arm. He finally takes it out, but as the liquid is spilling down onto the ground, he causes it to fall to the ground.

"Though I have been a willing guest this entire time," he keeps saying. I continue to look at him with my eyes wide open, and I cast a glance across at Elijah, whose expression remains perplexed.

The object that Noah was holding on his arm dropped, and he* between Elijah and myself. First, Elijah looks at Jessey, and then he looks back at him.

He then asks, "Okay. What now?" while nodding his head in agreement.

"I teach you what you've been so desperate to learn," Noah says as he rushes over to Elijah. "I teach you what you've been struggling to learn." In the meantime, Noah is pushing Elijah against the rails in front of us, and Elijah is pushing me away. The wrist of Elijah is broken like a twig when he grabs it and breaks it. Both the sound of the bone shattering and the sight of his bone being in that position cause me to feel a shiver of discomfort.

I gaze at him with Elijah still in his grasp and beg him to refrain from doing so. "Noah, don't," I say to him.

"Do you remember what happened with each of the Alpha in my pack, Harriet?" he asks, wondering whether anyone has ever informed me about it. "Harriet, tell me about it."

I let out a sigh and nodded my head. "They would kill every single member of their pack in order to be a part of your pack. That is how they gained all of their strength." I recalled the time when Alexander had conveyed to me the news that the Alpha pack was going to arrive in Anaheim Hills.

During the time that Elijah was looking between Noah and me, I witnessed Noah beginning to alleviate his agony. At the same time that I am standing there and looking directly at Noah, Elijah is pushed to the side.

Remembering how miserable he had been and the sorrow he felt, I continued, "That's what you did to Alexander. You wanted him to be a part of your pack, but he denied it. You forced him to choose between his beta and his own damn sister." I say this as I begin to feel enraged.

In response to his question, "But it made him stronger now, didn't it?" I nod my head in agreement, knowing that Alexander has become more powerful as a result of the situation.

As I turn my attention to Elijah, I notice that he has successfully repositioned his bone. I approach him and stand next to him while he looks down at his arm. I make eye contact with him.

Upon reaching his conclusion, Noah asks, "Do you understand that pain, life, and power are in that order and only that order?" I am aware of what he is attempting to convince Elijah to do. Exactly the same thing that he instructed all of the alphas in his to perform.

As Elijah says, "Perfectly," his voice is filled with a sense of superiority.

As he stands up, I make an effort to persuade him by saying, "Elijah, don't." I am standing in front of him, and he is looking at me with a sympathetic expression on his face. With a gentle push to the side, he flicks out his claws and then rams his claws into Josh's stomach. He then continues to shove me to the side. An electric current circulated through the atmosphere, causing the room to become brilliant. My eyes were veiled as I listened to the reverberation of Josh's scream around the room. He would not have deserved it.

During the time that Elijah was heavily exhaling, I heard him retract his claws. I open my eyes, gaze at him with a look of dissatisfaction, and simply shake my head.

He says, "I can feel it," as he stares at his claws throughout the conversation.

"Good. Because you just cost yourself a member of a small and inexperienced pack," Noah says as Elijah glances over at Josh's lifeless body on the steps. "You just cost yourself a member of a low-level pack."

Jessey is at the center of his gaze. When she was asked, "What do you think?" he asked her.

Jessey responds, "I believe he was small and inexperienced. And if you've got his power now, you can put on the mask," while they both direct their focus to the mask. "I think he was small..."

"This kind of power requires risk, Elijah. Do it. Put on the mask. Discover the Brute's identity and guarantee your place as an Alpha. As a real werewolf," Noah urges Elijah in an effort to convince him to take the risk. While Elijah is looking down at the mask, he is holding it in his hands.

When I ask Elijah, his eyes dart to me, I ask him, "You're seriously going to even fucking consider putting that on yourself?"

"It's the only choice, Harriet," he adds with eyes that are emphatically begging, and I sneer at him.

"No, Elijah, it's not. You seriously just killed a kid who didn't want a part of this anymore, and then you're about to melt your damn brain and eyeballs by putting that freak of a mask on your face." I continue to rant with a voice full of rage.

As I begin to leave the movie, I grab my purse from the table and say, "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to watch my boyfriend suffer over a damn mythical creature that shouldn't even exist!" I then proceed to walk out of the theater.

I slammed the door to the theater shut and cried at me, "Harriet, wait!" The fact that he would allow Noah to impose his will on him became a very frustrating situation for me.
