Chapter 1

Living as two person is such a pain in the ass but I love every second of it. I still get the fame and the private life that I've always wanted.

I was born as Cassie Edwards, your typical nerd at school that always wear braces and glasses. Not to mention that I'm the second daughter of Billy Edwards who is a famous businessman. I have one big sister and 3 older brothers. Yes, that's a lot. But I live as another identity too. I made Katherina Locks. I've been modelling since I was 15 and now I'm 18 years old. I joined a famous model agency called the McCoy Models.

Living as a billionaire daughter and a model was not easy. My family wanted me to have privacy living my school life and not wanting people to bully me too. So when I'm living as Cassie, I used wig and fake braces along with the big glasses. I wore baggy shirts too so I will be invisible.

I used to be bullied when I was in middle school, so I prefer that I stay hidden all the time. Not to mention that I'm not that smart to begin with so.. such a perfect scenario.

I have 4 older siblings. My sister, Clarissa, she's a pianist and famous one. She's so loveable and I always look up to her. Then I have a twin brother, Victor and Vincent. They're 3 years older than me. Victor is an actor and Vincent is a famous chef. As for my oldest brother, Dean, he is the CEO of our company replacing our dad.

I have 3 bestfriends and they're all models. I love them a lot.

"Let me drop you to school." Dean said.

"Breakfast first, Cassie!" My mom said as I'm taking my shoes out from the shoe rack.

"I'm late, mom." I said.

"Make sure to eat at school!" My dad said from his office room.

"Bye!" I said as I dragged Dean with me out form the house. He took out his keys to his Porsche and I got into the passenger seat. I got inside and pulled my small mirror to see myself.

"What time will you finish school?" Dean asked as he got in. I put on my seatbelt and ready to go.

"Don't worry about me."

"Ask Clarissa to pick you up, sadly that we only have two drivers and the twins are using it." He said.

"Don't worry, I'll be okay. I'll call Clarissa later.."

"She might have practice but I'll let her know." Dean said as he started his car and drove out from the house.

Who doesn't know the Edwards? But my parents successfully keep everyone hidden because they're afraid that we will get affected. So the only kid that people knew was Dean. They knew Billy Edwards has 5 children but the public only knew one. I mean some people knew but my dad always took off our photos from the internet before it gets spread out.

"Dean, stop here." I told him to drop me a block away from my school.

"Okay. Cassie.."

"Hmm?" I asked as I turned to him. He gave me his sandwich and I chuckled.

"Thanks."

"Make sure to eat it, you lose a lot of weight after that fashion show."

"I'll keep that in mind!" I said and got out from his car. I looked around and I'm glad that I'm an early bird so there's not a lot of student here. I walked to school and greeted by my bullies. My family never knew that I always got teased a lot at school.

"Look who's here.. Cassie the nerd. So dare or dare?" Gina asked as she cornered me witj her minions.

"Or?" I looked down.

"I dare you to ask Cole Harrison to be your boyfriend." She said and I looked at her in horror.

"No, I can't." I said in a small tone. I really don't want to get into trouble.

"If you don't do it, I'll let the principal know that you stole my things." She threatened me and I know she's not bluffing.

"I'll do it." I said and she gestured me to go. I looked around to look for Cole. I made my way to on the other side of the hallway where I saw him leaning to the locker talking to his friends. This is going to be embarassing but I had no choice.

I walked to him slowly and Gina gestured me to speed up. I stopped right in front of him and he looked at me raising his eyebrows.

"Uhmm Cole.. Cole Harrison, will you be my boyfriend?" I asked in a small tone.

"What?! Louder!" Gina said and everyone turned their attention at me.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" I asked as I gulped nervously. I was ready for him to embrass me in front everyone. Cole looked at me with a smirk and I closed my eyes, ready for him to say no.

"Okay." What?! I could hear everyone gasping and I opened my eyes looking at him disbelief.

"What?!" I heard Gina completely pissed.

I just knew, from that moment, my life will change.

"Katherina, I want you to be here pronto!" My manager, Flora, said over the phone.

"Yes, I'm on my way home. I need a shower, I'll be quick!" I told her and ended the call.

Today was like a nightmare. I'm officially Cole Harrison's girlfriend and words travel fast. Everyone hates me now because no one ever get to be his girlfriend. I'm his first girlfriend, I think.

Since my bestfriends are not from the same school, I can't tell them right away. Afrer school, I have a photoshoot with Elle, one of my bestfriends.

I quickly went home taking off my wig and braces. I took a shower quickly and wore my tight black dress. Flora picked me up from my house and we went straight to the photoshoot studio.

"Katherina! My lovely Katherina!" Rick, my favorite photographer, said as he hugged me.

"Hey Rick, how are you?" I asked as I pulled away.

"Katieeee!" Elle squealed and I hugged her tightly.

"I miss you!" She said.

"I miss you more! I have something to tell you!" I said and she nodded.

"Okay, my beautiful models! Please change first and we can talk later!" Rick said and we both changed into dresses. It's the newest collection from WILLOW. I love the brand and I can't wait to go through all the dresses.

We focused working first and after 3 hours, we're done. I told Flora that I'll be hanging out with Elle.

"Katherina, don't forget that you'll be walking on the Victoria Secret in New York. The fitting will be next week and you too Elle." Flora said and I turned to Elle squealing.

"So.. what's up? Should we get coffee?" Elle asked.

"Yes, let's go get coffee." We both changed into our comfortable clothes and walked out from the studio.

"I can't wait to hear your juicy story, will I scream in shock?" She asked and I chuckled.

"I think you'll faint."

"That bad?"

"I don't think it's a good news." I said.

"Hello, are you.. Elle and Katherina?" I turned to see a little girl, I think she's 12 or maybe 13.

"Yes."

"Can I take a photo with you both?" She asked and I looked up to see her mom giving me and Elle a big smile. I nodded and she stood between me and Elle. We took some pictures and her mom told me that she wants to be a model and I wished her goodluck.

Elle and I continued our walk to the coffee shop a block away. She told me about a guy that she's been hanging out recently. We walked into the coffee shop and ordered some coffee and bread.

"Spill the tea, K."

"I was dared by the bullies." I said and Elle raised her eyebrows.

"And then.."

"The dare was to ask Cole Harrison to be my boyfriend." Elle looked at me suspiciously.

"Did he embarass you?"

"He accepted and apparently I have a boyfriend now." I said and Elle looked at me completely shocked and speechless.

"Cole Harrison? The one and only heir of Harrison Hotel and Harrison Security Company?" She asked in a high tone.

"Yes." I sighed and I thanked the waiter for deliver our coffees.

"And then.."

"And then what?" I looked at her confused.

"How's the relationship?" She asked.

"The dare was today and I don't even have his.. number."

"You've got to be kidding me." Elle face palmed herself and suddenly my other phone beeps. I grabbed it from my bag.

"Is that you other phone?"

"Yes." I said as I opened it. My eyes widen because it's a text message from Cole.

Hello girlfriend, help me with my project tomorrow?

-Your boyfriend, Cole.

I read it again and again in horror. Did he just text me? How did he get my number? Is he trying to make me tutor him? But I'm not smart, I'm not the best at studying.

"Just do it." Elle said and I looked at her glaring. She's not helping at all.

"Elle, I'm lost here and you're not helping!"

"Just do it, I don't think it's a bad thing. You're just helping him.. with his.. project."

"No!"

"Just move to another school!" She hissed as she grabbed my phone.

"We have 5 months left." I said and Elle grinned. Suddenly my main phone rang and it's my dad.

"Hey dad."

"Cassie, me and your mom will be flying to San Fransisco to visit your grandparents. We'll be home by next week. Stay with your siblings okay?" He said.

"Okay. But why suddenly go to New York?"

"Granddad is a little bit sick, we want to check on him."

"Oh okay. I'll go to San Fransisco after I do my fittings in New York." I said as I grabbed my other phone to text Flora.

"Oh okay. We'll stay longer then.."

"Okay dad." He ended the call and I turned to Elle.

"Won't go to school next week." I smirked and she rolled her eyes.

"Still we're going to a fitting."

"Right."

"Is everything okay?" Elle asked as she grabbed her cup of coffee.

"Granddad is a little bit sick, they're going to check on him."

"Hope everythings okay." Elle said.

"Thanks!"

"How about Cole?"

"Let's just ignore his text." I said and Elle looked at her watch.

"I have to go, my dad's birthday today. I'll catch with you next week?" I gave her a hug and she left first.

Tomorrow will be a great day.

"Clarissa." I called her name as she stopped at the red light.

"Hmm?" She turned to me.

"I don't want to go to school." I said because I'm going to see Cole.

"Why?"

"I don't want to go to school, I hate it."

"Cassie, 5 months left." She said as she drove again. She stopped a block away and gestured me to go out.

"I'm sick."

"Too late. We're here princess, get your butt out." Clarissa pushed me and I turned to her pouting.

"You're so mean! I don't want to go to school! Please save me!" I begged her and she looked me completely suspicious. She hates helping me to ditch class because our mom caught us once and she's so mad.

"No."

"Please.. help me."

"No, Cassie." She shook her head.

"Rissa.." Cough "I'm dying." Cough "Please."

"No, Cassie. Get out!" She hissed and I glared at her.

"You're the worst sibling!" I got out and she smirked before driving away. I walked to school and went straight to my locker. I opened it and Cole suddenly leaned his body to the locker beside mine.

"Good morning, girlfriend." He said with a smile.

"I'm not your girlfriend." I said without looking at him.

"You asked me out yesterday so.. you're my girlfriend." He said confidently.

"I'm not, Cole." I said as I was about to close my locker. He put a USB in and smiled widely.

"My project, help me with that." He said.

"No, I don-"

"Do it, I don't care. If you don't do it, I'll make your life miserable." He threatened and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"If this is your project, you should make it yourself. It's not mine to begin with." I said as I grabbed the USB and put it in front of him.

"You really don't want to do it?"

"I can company you but I won-"

"Ah.. you want to spend time with me?" He raised his eyebrows.

"No, but it's not fair."

"Do it." He patted my shoulder and walked away. I let out a long sigh and grabbed my laptop to see his project. I went to class and opened it.

"Asshole." I hissed. It's actually a homework from our chemistry class. The teacher gave us 200 questions and he's crazy for asking us to do this. Cole walked into class.

"Have you do it?" He asked.

"No, you do it yourself." I said and he grabbed a chair to sit beside me. He leaned his face close to me and caressed my cheek with the back of his hand.

"Don- don't touch me." I pushed his hand away.

"Nervous?" He smiled.

"Do it together, I don't want to do it for you." I said bravely and he shook his head.

"Do it together or I'll let the teacher know!" I looked straight into his eyes and he's completely surprised.

"You really dare to threaten me?"

"I don't have time for this." I said and I'm not lying.

"Okay, you can come to my house after school, we can do this together." He said and I nodded. "This will be fun." He said before getting up. I sighed and he walked out from my class.

How I wanted to throw a chair at him! He's such an annoying guy. After the first and second class, we have a lunch break. Since I'm on a diet today, I have to stay healthy. I walked to the cafeteria and someone pulled me away.

It's Cole.

"What? What do you want?"

"Don't be rude to me, girlfriend." He said and his friends laughed. I turned to see friends waving at me.

"Buy us lunch." Ben said.

"Buy it yourself." I glared at him.

"Oh.. never thought she will be this feisty."

"Buy me mac and cheese, fish tacos and burgers." He said as he gave me his money. I looked at him completely not liking any of this treatment but instead of getting intro trouble. I queued to buy all the foods that they want. I even ordered myself a mango juice and I paid the food.

I brought the food to their table and Cole looked at all the food one by one.

"Where's my butter chicken?" Tim asked.

"He didn't ask for it." I said.

"Nice.. you listened." He said and I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my mango juice but he stopped me. He took it and drank it.

"That's my drink." I glared.

"Ahh she glares.." Cole mocked me and his friends laughed. I wanted to smack his head but I want them to leave me alone, not to make my life more miserable at school.

After school, I decided to go out and run away from Cole.

"Not so fast, baby!" He stopped me and I jumped seeing him jump out of nowhere.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"Ugh uhmmm.."

"Come on." He held my hand and dragged me to his car.

"Get in." I got in right away and thanked God I have no schedule or Flora will kill me. Cole drove out from the school to go straight to his house. I followed him in.

"Hello son." I turned to see his mother standing in a hallway.

"Hey mom."

"Who is this?" She looked at me curiously.

"My friend, we have a project together." More like yours.

"Oh okay."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Harrison. I'm Cassie." I introduced myself politely.

"Nice to meet you too. I hope you like chocolate." She said all of the sudden.

"Yes, I do like it." Cole gestured me to follow him upstairs. I'm not surprise that his house is as big as mine. He led me to his room. He put his laptop on his desk and gestured me to do it. He turned on his PS5 and started to play.

I guess we love the same games. I decide to do his project and let him play his games after that I want to go home. As I'm looking at him playing games, I wanted to protest and tell him the strategy.

"That's not the moves, you're such a loser." I said as I grabbed the joystick from him.

"What do you know about game?"

"Oh.. I know so much about it!"
