Paul had to comfort her for a long time before she could forgive him.

Chapter 1 Grandpa's birthday party

The phone in his pocket rang again. If Fiona remembers correctly, this had been the eighth time it rang.

Normally, her phone would not be called by anyone, except for her dorm roommate, who would occasionally call to ask her out to eat, or advertise to buy insurance.

But on her contact list, there are only a few numbers. If she doesn't pick up the phone, it's likely that the phone will keep ringing and won't stop.

Fiona almost guessed who was calling her.

Same as last year, same this year. There will be a call like this every year.

Fiona was currently recording for a game show on a TV station. The heavy bear costume blocked the sound, along with the loud laughter of the audience under the set. No one hears the bell.

Normally, she was in silent mode. Maybe she was too busy today, so she forgot, set the vibrate mode but forgot to turn off the ringer.

Although it was September and early autumn, the weather was still very hot, the main air conditioner in the studio was broken half a year ago, but no one cared about it, wearing a few clothes still helps, although it is a bit hot, it can be relieved reluctantly accepted, while Fiona wore clothes like a ten-pound cotton layer on her body, sweat trickled down her face drop by drop, her hair stuck to her neck, and she still felt a little dizzy due to the heat in body.

"Come on, let's let our cute little bear bring up today's sweepstakes."

Listening to someone calling her name, Fiona quickly lifted her spirits, carrying the delicately decorated glass box swaying to the center of the stage. The bulky outfit had to carry the box, so her gait looked strange. Looks pretty funny.

The audience below saw the silly bear hobbling like that and laughed.

This program is an entertaining game show, the host and guests play games together, the silly bear is a little spice in this program, it gives everyone a lot of laughs.

What the stupid bear needs to do is when he goes on stage, he will pretend to shake his body, carelessly fall down, tilt his head and show a cute, silly appearance, creating laughter for the audience.

After struggling for a while, turning back and forth after nine o'clock in the evening, Fiona hurriedly ran to the bus stop. It was still a long time before the bus stopped, but the time her dorm closed was less than an hour.

The bus stop is not far from the TV station, about five minutes on foot.

At that time, there were not many people on the bus, the bus was empty, only a young girl with her eyes closed, leaning her backpack on the chair, and two workers chatting with each other in their hometown accent. Everyone looks tired.

It wasn't until this time that Fiona had a chance to pick up her phone and see who had just called.

More than 30 missed calls.

That's right, after counting a few times, that person persisted in calling repeatedly, and finally Fiona was too lazy to count. She definitely ignored those bells, doing a good job of creating laughter for the audience.

Fiona was about to call back, but the phone suddenly rang, still the same person - Clara Frank.

"Fiona, why don't you pick up the phone?" As soon as Fiona heard, before he could say anything, the other party spoke first.

The voice is neither fast nor slow, soft and does not carry anger, like chatting among family members.

"I'm really sorry cousin, while working, my phone was on silent mode, so I didn't know." Fiona explained.

When Clara Frank calls, whatever it is, is it important or not, as long as she holds the phone to call you, you must receive it, otherwise she will call continuously until you pick up the phone.

But for the great lady of the Frank family, when she called, no one dared not pick up the phone.

"Fiona, it's best not to put your phone on silent mode, if work doesn't allow it, you can put it on vibrate. Because maybe there's something important I want to tell you, Not being able to call will make people worry?" Clara Frank still spoke softly to Fiona.

"Cousin, you mean grandpa's birthday party right, I'll be there on time." Fiona was tired.

"I'm just afraid you'll forget, so I deliberately called to remind you, everyone has to come back to celebrate their grandfather's birthday. By then everyone who is not present grandpa will be angry."

"I know." Fiona said.

"Ah, I said, you don't need to prepare a birthday present for him anymore, I already helped you to prepare it."

Clara Frank said that she reminded Fiona of her grandfather's birthday last year. That day he was very happy, opened each gift of his grandchildren in front of guests, and a towel appeared among the expensive gifts. Fiona's cheap hand made him lose all face.

Actually, Fiona can buy a more expensive gift, but the other items in the market are not much different. Any gift that is not a gift, not buying cheap things on the sidewalk is already heartwarming.

"No need cousin, let me buy it myself."

"I've decided, I will prepare a birthday gift for you, tomorrow you will remember to come back on time, I'll hang up."

Fiona was about to say something more, when a beeping sound came from the other end of the phone.

Fiona looked at the darkness covering the space, half-closed her eyes and whispered a sentence: "Whoever wants to prepare, just prepare."

When Fiona returned to the dormitory, it was already a few minutes late, but fortunately the dormitory was not closed yet.

Normally, the dormitory closes at ten o'clock, not a second late, if anyone does not return before the specified time, they will be kept outside, listen to the manager's aunt teaching for more than half an hour, and will be in the notebook black, if she gets caught again next time it won't be easy for half an hour.

Fiona quietly glanced into the duty room, inside there was a girl in silk pajamas chatting happily with her manager aunt.

Fiona crouched along the wall and quickly ran into the hallway, then took out her phone to call her best friend.

"Hello, Fiona." The other party picked up the phone very quickly.

"Okay, you can retreat now." Fiona laughed.

Just over a minute later, the girl who was chatting in the management room just now took off her slippers and glared at her, disgruntled and said: "You're late again, fortunately I have help. If it wasn't for me distracting the manager's auntie, you would have been recorded in the black book."

"Thank you, madam." Fiona held her hand and said.

"Stay away." Regina Julia smiled and pushed her away, then went up the stairs, "You have to go back to H city tomorrow?"

"Um." Fiona walked to her side: "Birthday grandfather, I have to go back."

"You are also very filial." Regina Julia laughed, picked up the phone and dialed for a moment: "This is not much money, 7 million you take it."

Fiona heard her phone ring, took it out and saw that Regina Julia had already transferred the money to her.

"Why did you give me money?"

"Now I don't have much money, when I am rich, I will sponsor you hundreds of millions of dong, making those people ashamed." Regina Julia said indignantly.

Fiona was happy, smiling while walking. Last year, after Regina Julia knew everything, she always kept a close eye on her heart, hoping that one day Fiona could hold a sack of money that fell and crushed them to death.

"What are you laughing at?" Regina Julia glared at her.

"Don't think of me as a poor white rabbit oppressed by the rich, then turn around and slap them in the face." Fiona struggled to stop laughing, put the phone away, and refused to accept the transfer.

"Isn't it?" Regina Julia glared at her.

Fiona made a lovely pose, blinking eyes at her: "Does it look like me?"

Regina Julia was finally made fun of by her, stopped to look at Fiona's innocent eyes for a while, and finally compromised: "I wish you good luck and success." Fiona looked at her funny.

The dormitory was right in front of her eyes, Regina Julia went into the dormitory with a gasp, and Fiona smiled and followed behind.

The next day was Saturday, there was no one left in the dormitory, Fiona woke up very early, she washed her face, combed her hair, sat on the bed and read a book for a while, until almost noon, she slowly gathered her things other than taking a taxi.

It took six hours by car to return from city G to city H, and through each time, it was also smart to arrive at the party.

In fact, Fiona loves to travel, the money she has earned in the past few years has been used for travel, has passed through many places large and small, every time sitting in a car or plane the feeling of going fast always makes Fiona fun.

Although she wandered aimlessly, fortunately she knew the direction and did not lose her way.

But every time I go to H city, unlike traveling, I suddenly feel like walking on the ice, so if I don't go carefully, I will stumble.

Chapter 2 Rumor

Nathan Frank's birthday party was held at the largest hotel in the city of H.

The party started at seven o'clock in the evening. When Fiona arrived, the party was almost full.

Before entering the party, Fiona found a public restroom and took out the things she brought with her.

The outfit she brought with her was a formal dress used to go to a party, saying it was a dress, but it was actually just a one-piece dress. If she went to her grandfather's birthday and wore too simple clothes, people would say it backbite.

When she changed, she received a phone call from Alice Frank.

Clara Frank is the daughter of the eldest uncle, Alice Frank is the daughter of the second uncle, both of whom are cousins of Fiona.

"Fiona, where are you? Why haven't you come yet?" Contrary to the gentle Clara Frank, Alice Frank is a hot-tempered person.

"I'm getting dressed." Fiona was reluctant.

"It's been a while since she was changing clothes. She was so brave." Alice Frank could not accept Fiona's attitude. Her tone also rose.

"Sister, I'm near the party. I'll be there in ten minutes at the latest." Fiona said.

On the other side, Alice Frank was silent for a few seconds and hung up the phone.

Fiona smiled, looked in a mirror and makeup. The girl in the white-faced mirror looks very pretty overall.

Out of the toilet room, Fiona almost hit someone. Looking closely, she realized that it was her cousin, Alice Frank.

Startled, she stepped back. Alice Frank was also a little startled, but when she saw that it was Fiona, she began to ask: "How many minutes have passed since then?"

Fiona was also a bit surprised. She didn't know that her cousin could come all the way here: "How did you know that I was here?"

Alice Frank glanced at her and said: "I use geolocation when you are talking. I already know where you are, thanks to the locator app."

"Sister, it's not that I'm late, it's that the taxi has a problem across the street." Fiona explained.

"Having a taxi in trouble?" Alice Frank laughed: "Why don't you take another car to go home?"

Fiona knew that the more she spoke, the more exposed she would be, so she definitely kept quiet and said nothing.

Fiona was silent. Alice Frank looked at her from top to bottom and frowned: "What are you wearing?"

"I'm wearing a dress, sister." Fiona looked at the dress she was wearing and asked, "What's wrong? Can't you wear a formal dress to your grandfather's birthday?"

"Isn't this the dress you usually wear to parties? I saw you wearing it last year too?"

She did not actually buy this dress. Last year, Regina Julia bought her this dress out of her own pocket, otherwise she would have bought an expensive dress.

Still, Regina Julia told her there was no need to waste money on buying an expensive dress and then throw it in a corner. This dress is both beautiful and comfortable. When the party's over, you can still wear it to go out. It looks both beautiful and thrifty, and when Fiona heard that, she agreed.

Alice Frank tugged at her skirt. "Fiona, don't tell me you don't have money to buy a new dress. If you don't have it, you have to tell me. I can buy it for you."

Couldn't I wear a casual dress for my grandfather's birthday party?

"So, cousin..." Fiona listened quietly to Alice Frank and asked her again: "If you don't wear a new dress, you can't go to the party, cousin?" She really hoped Alice Frank would say a "Yes", then she would certainly not hesitate to turn around and leave without looking back.

"Can't go to the party without wearing new clothes?" Next to transmit is a very easy to hear male voice.

Fiona and Alice Frank simultaneously turned their heads to look at the source of the sound, only to see a man in comfortable clothes leaning against the wall in the men's WC, it could also be said to be a young man, at first glance aged. Not very old, only about eighteen or nineteen years old.

At this moment, the boy was frowning, looking sad.

"Who are you? Why are you eavesdropping on other people's conversations? Does your family don't know how to teach?" Alice Frank said angrily.

"The clothes I wear more than once or twice." The young man was not angry at Alice Frank's attitude, looked down at his clothes, and sadly said: "It seems that I can't go to the party today, then Miss Frank helps me tell him happy birthday, the driver will bring gifts, me go first, goodbye."

The young man waved to Alice Frank, tilted his head and winked at Fiona, then quickly went out the stairs, and when he went down to the floor, Fiona still saw him whistling.

"Crazy." Alice Frank cursed under her breath, pulled Fiona's arm: "Hurry up, haven't you lost your face?"

Fiona pushed her hand away: "Cousin, the quality of this dress is not good. You pulled me like that. The dress is torn. It's even more embarrassing."

"Annoying." Alice Frank's anger was not light. Immediately released her hand, turned her head and glared at her.

It brought Fiona to the party by Alice Frank. She went to the room where the old man was sitting. While entering, Clara Frank stuffed a gift into her hand, and then made the mouthpiece, "Take it and give it to Grandpa."

"Grandpa, happy birthday." Fiona handed out the gift bag Clara Frank had prepared for her.

"Yes, you're back." Nathan Frank nodded, indicating to the person working next to him to receive the gift, then introduced to the person next to him: "This is my grandson, Fiona."

Clara Frank introduced everyone to Fiona. Fiona followed her to greet him.

Everyone's eyes were on Fiona. She felt goosebumps on her arm.

"Ah, is it Freya's daughter? You look so big, you look pretty too."

Fiona politely smiled.

"Young people, just go and play." Nathan Frank waved to Fiona and Clara Frank.

Fiona turned around and walked a few steps, when suddenly he heard a voice behind him. She sneered, but did not respond.

This child has not been easy these past few years, fortunately there is old Frank, otherwise this child would not know where the street corner is.

That year, Freya made a fuss because of that. Old Frank does not pay attention to the past. Still raising the child to grow up did not disappoint Freya.

"Even if Freya is rebellious, she is still my daughter. After all, the blood flowing in Fiona's body is also half of the Frank family. In short, she can't be left alone." Nathan Frank looked at everyone and then said.

"That's right, the Frank family helps raise so many children in the countryside, with an honest heart, other people's children can still take care of them. Of course, their grandchildren have to take care of them."

"The children in the house are still better than the people outside, aren't they?"

Almost every year, Fiona hears these rumors. At first, she was a little displeased, but she couldn't stand up and argue with them. After listening to it for a while, she also felt familiar.

"This is just what people say, but it's nothing. Don't let it stay in your heart." Clara Frank patted her shoulder and said.

Fiona also didn't care what they said. Mouths grew on their bodies. They said whatever they wanted to say. She couldn't control it.

"No." Fiona smiled at Clara Frank. She picked up a glass of juice and took a sip.

The meaning of her existence is to become the focus of others' talk.

"Lady." The server who received the gift at the door came: "Ma'am, this is a gift from the Henry family. I didn't see anyone from the Henry family coming here. The driver of the Henry family also brought this gift."

"Why? Why didn't anyone from the Henry family show up?" Clara Frank frowned. If he knew that this year no one from the Henry family would appear, grandfather would definitely feel very embarrassed. At that time, I will be angry with all members present in the house.

"The other driver said that we have a rule that we can't attend the party if we don't wear new clothes, so Mr. Henry came wearing used clothes, so he couldn't enter."

"Who said that?" Clara Frank opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"The driver said it was a lady.'' Frank said.

Fiona immediately thought of the guy who winked at her in front of the toilet just now, couldn't help but smile.

Henry's family, is he from the Henry family?

Thinking for a while, Clara Frank went to see Alice Frank to talk, Fiona brought a cake to eat, since she ate in the car at noon until now, she has not eaten anything, now really hungry.

The food at the party looked delicious, but the people who came here didn't really want to eat it. What a waste of heaven!

A message from Regina Julia sent to.

[How? Were you bullied?]

Fiona couldn't help but laugh, acting like she had to enter the dragon and tiger lagoon.

[No, I'll stay a little longer and then leave. I'll take the earliest train tomorrow, then find you for lunch.]

[Have you booked a hotel room yet?]

Fiona directly sent a voice message: "I haven't booked. It's not the peak tourist season, and it's in the city center, anywhere."

Regina Julia also sent a voice message: "Okay, I'm up to you, now I have to go earn money. Later, the rich will take that money and throw it in their faces."

Fiona laughed: "Your goal of making money is also different, but it's okay to work hard."

After talking with Regina Julia, she looked at the clock. I was already past eight o'clock in the evening.

"Did your father receive the invitation to Mr. Henry's birthday party tomorrow?"

"No, how can a family like us receive an invitation from the Henry family?"

"Grandpa Henry's birthday party? Didn't old man Frank ever celebrate a birthday?"

"Nathan Frank and Dylan Henry's birthday celebration is only one day apart, but every year old Frank organizes it, but old Henry never has. Why is it like this year? Do you want to make it more popular than Frank families?"

"Is it okay if you say it like that? How can the Frank family compare with the Henry family? The Henry family can lower their status to compare with the Prank family." Someone whispered.

"I heard my uncle say, ever since the second uncle of the Henry family was paralyzed, he was always unhappy, so the Henry family planned to marry him, this is not a birthday party, but borrowed the name of a celebration party."

Fiona's footsteps stopped.

"Is that so? But the second brother of the Henry family is already paralyzed. Is there anyone else who dares to marry?"

"Patience or not, that person is also the second young master of the Henry family, who wants to marry him. Even if you want to marry, it is not your turn."

"Come on, it's still a long time before I agree, marrying there. This life is considered finished."

"Who do you say is paralyzed?" Suddenly, a voice interrupted the discussion, startling the crowd.

But soon, someone reacted with disapproval: "Are you a person from the mountain? Don't you know about the second young master of the Henry family who was paralyzed in both legs and had to be discharged from the army?"

***

Fiona didn't know how to get out of the hotel, only feeling cold all over.

She walked, holding her body down the corridor, only to feel her limbs shaking.

"Oldest brother, it's not that I don't want to go in, it's that the people in their say I can't get in with old clothes, I have no way."

"I'll come see you, long time no see. I miss you so much."

After talking, he sat in the car and waved to the driver.

The car started, ran to the main road. Fiona came out of the dark, almost without thinking, got into a taxi parked outside the hotel. Her voice trembled slightly: "Drive at car." She had to go see him.

Chapter 3 Help me

The taxi driver, who was used to these things, was not surprised. The driver said: "I think the car that kid drives is expensive. Being in love with rich guys is like that. It doesn't feel safe at all."

Fiona didn't listen to what the driver said and looked out the window.

The street was very bustling, and there were people singing and playing guitar on the street, bringing praise and admiration.

At this time, Fiona's mind was very chaotic. She could not see or hear anything. Only the words of the other person at the party kept ringing in his ears.

Make her dizzy.

Fiona rubbed his forehead. Maybe it's just rumors, maybe not so serious, maybe it's just a rumor.

The driver talked for a long time without seeing her reply, so he kept his mouth shut.

The other car did not take long. Less than half an hour turned into a small urban area on the road.

Fiona got out of the car outside the urban area and followed.

This urban area is not a luxury urban area, it looks a bit better than a normal city, except for cars that have to be registered in the security room, pedestrians are free to enter.

In the urban area, there are many cars parked, the car goes very slowly, turns a few times to find a parking spot, after parking, the eighteen-nine-year-old boy plays with the car keys and enters an apartment building.

Fiona quietly looked out the window. After seeing him enter the elevator, he watched the elevator stop at the twentieth floor, then pressed to go up button.

Fiona got out of the elevator on the nineteenth floor, then walked up to the twentieth floor.

One floor has two or three apartments. She waited for thirty minutes outside the stairs. The south apartment opened the door, a clear male voice rang out: "Big brother, I'm going. Tomorrow afternoon I'll come pick you up. Get some rest soon."

"Aunt Doris, if your brother refuses to eat at night, aunt must coax him to eat more."

"I know, I'll cook for him frugally."

"If his temper is not good, please forgive him..."

"Paul's personality is very good, don't do anything too much. In fact, only you should be worried."

"He-he, Aunt Doris, don't say that."

The young man instructed for a while, then went to the elevator. The door of the room also closed.

Fiona leaned against the wall. The corridor no longer made any noise, not long after the sensor lights went out, and the whole floor fell into darkness.

Fiona could hear her breathing, just one door away. The person she wanted to meet was right inside, but she didn't have the courage to go up and ring the bell.

She also didn't know what it meant to be here today. Maybe he didn't even remember who she was.

Fiona hesitated for more than an hour on the stairs. His reason gradually returned, thinking about the words that the man said just now, it seems that he does not want to meet other people...

If I go in voluntarily, I'm afraid it's really not good.

Fiona took out his phone, flipped through the few contacts, and found the boy's number.

The only person who has contact between her and him is the boy. If you don't come to see him, you can call and ask about his situation.

But she and the boy have not been in contact for two or three years.

If she called just to ask about the health of someone who didn't know her, it didn't seem right.

Fiona hesitated for a moment, finally sighed, wondering if he should visit him, but why he was paralyzed.

What's wrong with his leg? Is it possible to meet someone else now? What about tomorrow's party? With a personality like that, can he accept marrying someone else?

Fiona left the elevator, walked to the front door again, raised his hand. But in the end, he lowered his hand again.

She had never been so hesitant in her whole life.

Just when Fiona was in a dilemma, the door suddenly opened.

"Hey, you're Alma, right, I guess you'll be here by now. Hurry in." Aunt Doris breathed a sigh of relief: "I've been waiting for you forever."

Fiona waited for more than an hour and finally entered the house in such a confusing way.

"Sit down here first. I'll tell you what to do." Aunt Doris said softly.

"My lady told me to be quick and smart, so I let you come here to help me, you have to keep your voice low, don't disturb Mr. Henry, Mr. Henry does not call, she is not allowed in his room, remember?"

Fiona nodded instinctively.

"Okay, then just sit here for a while." Aunt Doris finished her words and hurried to the kitchen.

Fiona should be very scared right now, but in fact, at this time, Fiona's head was very alert, Aunt Doris got the wrong person. It shouldn't take long to react. If you don't deny it yourself, then...

If it's not equal to stabbing, you have to follow it.

Fiona observed the whole apartment, this room is about one hundred and fifty to one hundred and sixty square meters, the decoration style is minimal, from the sofa to the walls are cold, even the curtains are black, making other people feel cold and gloomy.

The kitchen, the living room, the dining room, and also a bedroom with the door ajar. These places were not where he was staying.

Fiona walked lightly to the end of the corridor, occasionally even glancing at the kitchen.

In the kitchen, with the hood turned on, Aunt Doris's figure disappeared behind the frosted glass.

Only the room at the end of the hallway was locked.

It's like taking an exam, before the exam was extremely nervous to the point of shaking, but when you really entered the exam room, took a pen to write down the first line, the whole person suddenly calmed down, the mood is now Fiona hour was the same, extremely calm, only one thought in her mind, waiting for Aunt Doris's response, perhaps everything she did in today's good night would be in vain.

Fiona pondered what the first sentence should be. Or did he just take one look and then turn to leave?

Fingers knocked on the wooden door but did not make a sound, but just gently passed. A small force affected the door, causing a gap the size of a hand to open.

The door to the room was also not closed.

The person in the wheelchair had his back to the door of the room, in the dim light, the sharp knife resting on his long white wrist.

Fiona didn't even have time to look at his face. His breathing quickened. "What are you doing?"

People in the room didn't expect that someone would appear outside the study. Their hands shook with a "clang" sound, the knife fell to the ground, vibrated twice before it was quiet.

Fiona's eyes stared at his blood-stained wrist. That was the cut the knife in his hand had just passed, but it was not deep, but it still saw blood.

Fiona can feel the blood in his body rushing to the top of his head. Do you want to commit suicide?

Fiona quickly went to his brother, picked up the knife that fell on the ground and hid it behind him. After thinking about it, he didn't feel right, dropped the backpack on his shoulder and dropped the knife inside.

The blood stain on the blade rubbed against the back of her hand, leaving a dark red mark. As soon as Fiona saw the blood, she thought of the blade on his wrist, suddenly felt short of breath, wiped the back of her hand hard on her shirt.

Since Fiona entered, Paul Henry did not speak, quietly watched a series of her movements, until she raised her head to look at him. He calmly opened his mouth: "She is Alan Frank's granddaughter, Fiona right?" He had met her before, although he had changed a bit. He still recognized her.

Fiona did not expect that he still remembered her.

Fiona hesitated. She didn't know how to address herself properly, and finally said: "Yes, Uncle Paul."

Paul Henry calmly nodded: "Why are you here?"

I followed your younger brother here and there, hesitating for a long time as to whether to enter or not. In the end, Aunt Doris mistook me for Alma.

Say so? Of course not.

Fiona pursed her lips, lowered her head and said nothing, her eyes still fixed on his wrist.

Paul Henry noticed her line of sight, rubbed her wrist with her right hand, then put her hand on her knee and looked out the window.

Seeing her standing in one place forever without saying a word, Paul Henry asked: "Alan Frank asked you to come here?"

Fiona almost shook her head instinctively, but the next second she nodded again: "Yes."

After all, you must have a reason to come, right? Otherwise, what would people think of her?

"... Uncle, uncle Alan Frank is so worried about him..." Fiona stammered to explain.

Paul Henry only glanced at her to see that she was lying, but did not expose her.

The room fell into silence. The wound covered all of Fiona's previous feelings of tension and on Paul Henry's wrist.

He wants to commit suicide?

"Eh, why did she run in here? Didn't aunt tell her not to come in?" Aunt Doris discovered that Fiona was not in the living room, went to find her, and suddenly found her next to Paul Henry. She frowned and said: "What's wrong with you, hurry up and come out with auntie." These days, Paul Henry's emotions are not too stable. She alone is afraid of being negligent, so she looks for a smart person to help. Unexpectedly she finds a girl with no brain.

Aunt Doris came and pulled Fiona's arm. Fiona unconsciously took a step back, hiding behind Paul Henry's wheelchair.

"Leave her here aunt Doris, I want to talk to her for a bit."

It's been a long time since Aunt Doris didn't see Paul Henry talk to outsiders, even his grandfather and parents did not see him. At most, he only met Peter Henry for thirty minutes a day.

Aunt Doris hesitated a bit, but finally left the study by herself.

Fiona knew that she should leave this place now, but just now he was holding a knife to commit suicide, and the other knife is still in her backpack, thinking about this, Fiona's legs are like nailed, Can't lift it anyway.

The study room only turned on the table lamp, the light was very dark, the thick curtain covered all the outside world, making the room even more gloomy and heavy.

Fiona felt that she should say something, but what should she say? Is she comforting?

For a person contemplating suicide, comforting is like being a talkative person.

You are not an experienced person, so you have no right to stand outside and instruct a person who is drowning in mud.

"Is there anything I can do to find you?" Paul Henry picked up a cigarette box on the table and lit a cigarette.

Fiona looked at the blood that had already begun to dry on his wrist and hesitated a bit.

"If I'm gone..." Fiona felt that every word she uttered seemed to use all her strength: "Will you still be the same as you were just now?"

Paul Henry lowered his eyes and took two sips: "If I said I would, what would you do?"

What will she do?

"I don't know." After a while, Fiona opened her mouth, her throat was dry: "Uncle Paul, have you thought about it?"

Paul Henry glanced at her in surprise, Fiona lowered her head to look at the toes of her shoes, feeling troubled in her heart.

Paul Henry didn't talk, just smoked quietly. Fiona casually held the ashtray on the desk and held it out to him.

Paul Henry continued to smoke, sometimes put the cigarette butts in the ashtray. Fiona kept raising his hand until he smoked all the cigarettes.

Paul Henry pressed the tip of his cigarette into the ashtray, whispered: "Fiona, can you help me with one thing?"

"Help what?"

"Help me get out of here."
