Chapter 1 Fulfill my promises

Myla!

Myla! Stop!

Myla could hear her name being called but all that was on her mind right now was saving her father.

Her father halted as soon as he saw her and his eyes widened but before he could move, the wolf boy ran up to him with the speed of lightning and yanked out his heart. The blood splashed on Myla as she stood there frozen on the spot. Her eyes were filled with horror and her hands shook as she watched her father fall to the ground. It was like the earth stopped moving at that moment. She walked slowly towards her father and fell right in front of him.

"Father?" She asked softly as she shook his shoulder but she knew in her heart that he was already dead and it was all her fault. She turned to the wolf boy with angry eyes and pulled out her dagger.

"I'm going to kill you, you Monster" She saw the hurt flash through his eyes but she could care less. She wanted him to feel the pain she was feeling right now in her chest. Tears fell from her eyes as she ran up to him with her dagger in her hand but she was only able to slice him across the arm before he disappeared with a puff of smoke.

"Come back here you monster, I'm going to kill you even if it's the last thing I do!!"....

~

As Myla rode through the Ruolyan forest with the other trainers, she couldn't help but remember what had happened ten years ago. She stopped her horse with a sigh then turned to stare at the waterfall and mountains in front of her. It was so beautiful that it calmed her down. It has been so long since she left the clan.

Her mother had become too strict about her safety. After her father died, Myla wasn't allowed to leave the clan at all. All she could do was watch her friendship go hunting while she stayed back to practice but she didn't mind doing that all those years because she was determined to get stronger and her mother was a great huntress and with the help of some of the trainers in their clan, Myla had become the best hunter in all five clans. After some time, she started getting bored of seeing the same things over and over again but anytime she asked her mother to allow her to go hunting with the others, it was the same answer over and over again. No!

But then she took a stand today and told her mother that training in a secluded place wasn't going to help her and so was shielding her from the outside world. Myla had lost all her street senses and the outside world felt so new to her. Still, she hadn't forgotten her mission, she felt she had trained enough and she was ready now, she was ready to face the demon wolf.

"Myla!" She turned to the voice and saw Luane and Noah riding towards her.

"We thought something had happened to you,why are you here?" Luane questioned with a stern look in her eyes which made Myla roll her eyes.

"Calm down, I didn't escape my mother today to hear nags from you. Besides, I was just enjoying the view, it has been so long" Noah nodded with a smile on his face.

"Yeah but it would all be worth it in the end, when you finally kill him" Myla smiled with a nod.

"Let's go already, I'm sure the others are searching for us. Last one there is a rotten octopus!" She yelled then rode away. Noah turned to Myla with a smile.

"You coming?" She nodded at him and they rode away.

"Today, someone special is here with us and this is her first time training with us. Myla?" She smiled at him and at everyone else.

"Yes sir" He smiled kindly at her then turned to the rest.

"Today, I am going to test your agility and how quick witted you are. Today, you'll all be hunting down a tiger" Everyone gasped including Myla. They had never hunted down tigers, lions or wolves before. She smiled at the challenge but she saw the nervousness in others, even Luane.

"Sir? We have never hunted such animals before" A girl who Myla knew as Nicole spoke up. The trainer glared at her.

"We are hunters, nothing associated with never should ever come out of your mouth. You have been thought to hunt down wild and dangerous animals and this is your time to put your training to the test" He saw that they were still unsure so he sighed and said;

"Anyone that gets to kill a tiger first will become my personal assistant" They gasped. Being an assistant to him meant the chance for a raise in ranking back at their clan. Myla didn't really need it but she was going to capture the tiger because this would finally be an eye opener for her mother. This was the only way she could prove she was ready to fulfill her promise

"Okay sir, we got this" He smiled at her then turned to the rest of the group.

"Get whatever weapon you're better with and get it ready. At the count of five, you'll begin the hunt" Myla smiled at Luane and Noah before turning to the trainer.

4!

5! Go!

They all ran like their lives depended on it. This was the Ruolyan forest which meant there was probably only one tiger in the clearing and Myla had to get to it first.

When she found herself all alone, she took a deep breath then closed her eyes and felt the wind. Her mother always told her that the wind always showed the way to the prey and luckily enough, she felt the tiger. She smiled before running towards it's direction.

Her eyes widened in excitement as she spotted it. When she was younger, she would have thought twice before shooting the Tiger with her arrow but she had grown up now and that childish mentality had disappeared. She drew her arrow backwards then Aimed at the tiger and was about to shoot it when an arrow came flying over her head and hitting the tiger. Myla watched the tiger fall to the ground with a frown then turned around and saw Luane behind her with a proud smile.

"I got it!" Luane yelled to alert everyone and Myla couldn't help but feel anger.

"I got it first, why were you following me?" Luane furrowed her eyebrows.

"I didn't follow you and I shot it fair and square" Just then, Noah walked towards them with the rest of the trainers behind him. He looked between Myla and Luane and saw the glare they were throwing at each other.

"What happened?" He touched Myla's shoulder but she swatted it away and walked out of their midst. She couldn't look Luane in the eyes. Luane clearly saw she was about to shoot the tiger so why did she shoot?

She ran back to their horses and was about to climb on her own and ride back to the clan when Noah called her name.

"Myla, wait. What's wrong?" She turned to him with a frown.

"Luane betrayed me, that's what. I want to go home" Without any question, he hopped on his horse and waited for her to get on hers before they rode away together. Myla knew Noah had feelings for her but they never touched on their subject and she was glad about that because she had no feelings for him whatsoever....

Ruth was talking to some men when she spotted Myla and Noah riding towards the house. She immediately excused herself and walked over to Myla who had climbed Down from her horse.

"You are back early, did something happen?" Myla sighed.

"I don't want to talk about it but training was fun though. Mother, I want to talk to you about something" Ruth frowned. She knew where this was going.

"Later, let's talk inside later. Come to my room" Then she walked back to the men. Myla sighed then turned to Noah with a smile.

"Sorry for swatting your hand away like that" Noah ruffled her hair with a smile.

"I can never be mad at you," Myla smiled.

"That's good. I've got to go, I'm tired" Noah nodded then watched her walk away with a frown.

~

Myla was about to take off her clothes when a knock sounded at the door. She furrowed her eyebrows, wondering who that could be but as soon as she opened it, she couldn't help but frown when her eyes laid on Luane.

"What are you doing here, Luane?" Luane sighed as she walked into the room.

"I'm here to apologize for what I did" Myla turned to her with folded arms.

"I'm listening," Luane sighed.

"My mother has been more than a nightmare to me since I was born and she always calls me a mistake and a failure" Myla frowned and hurriedly walked over Luane and hugged her.

"Oh I always knew your mother wasn't nice to you but I didn't think it was this bad" Luane sighed then smiled.

"I've gotten used to it but I wanted to catch that tiger today to prove to her that I wasn't a failure but I'm sorry I took your shot" Myla smiled at her.

"Your reasons for killing the tiger are much more severe than mine so don't worry, I forgive you but now, we need to think of a way to convince my mother that I'm ready to go kill that demon wolf" Luane nodded.

"Don't worry,Noah and I are always here for you" Myla smiled and hugged her tightly.

"You do know Noah is in love with you, don't you?" Luane asked and Myla rolled her eyes.

"Shut up"...

Ruth sighed as she stared at Myla and her two best friends. They have always been glued to each other for as long as she could remember.

"So I'm guessing whatever you want to talk about is serious?" Myla quickly nodded.

"Mother, I've been training for ten years now and you know more than anyone how much I have grown in skills, strength and smarts. What I'm trying to say is that I know I'm ready to bring down the demon wolf" Ruth sighed. She had a feeling that was what Myla was getting at.

"Myla, it's not like I don't believe or know how strong you've become, I'm your mother and I can't help but worry about you. That demon wolf is ruthless and doesn't have sympathy. I mean, look at how he treated your kindness, I don't want you getting hurt" Myla frowned at the thought. She had really thought he was good but she was wrong all along.

"Mother, being a good hunter is about taking risks and I swore to you, Dad and myself that I would defeat the demon wolf and I'm ready now. I'm not taking no from an answer mother, not this time around" Ruth frowned then glanced at Noah and Luane.

"Do you guys support this?" They both nodded.

"Myla is stronger now and besides, if you are worried, we won't mind watching over her" Ruth sighed.

"The demon wolf resides in the wolf's capital and since he's now the Alpha king, it's going to be very hard to get to him" Myla's eyes widened. She didn't know he had become the Alpha king.

"I'm sure you have a plan, mother" Ruth glanced at her then nodded.

"Alright, you can go but under the supervision of your friends. Make sure you don't go out of character and make it known to them that you're a hunter or you will be killed, all of you will" They all nodded at her.

"So what's the plan mother?" Ruth glanced at her outfit.

"First of all, you need to get into a more suitable dress" Myla raised an eyebrow. What could be more suitable than this?

~

Myla screamed out in pain as soon as her mother tightened the corset out her waist.

"Mother, I'm losing air, I'm not going to make it" Ruth rolled her eyes.

"Stop being dramatic. I've been dressed like this for years and I still haven't died" Her mother was right. For as long as Myla could remember, Her mother had always worn a gown with an all too tight corset and she had prayed to God so she won't ever have to wear a gown but here she was.

"Mother, do I really have to dress like this?" Ruth nodded.

"Yes, now sit down on the chair so I can do your hair. '' Myla frowned but did as was told. Ruth let down Myla's blond hair then combed all the way through to the back. Myla had never had her hair down before but now that she did, she looked like a completely different person. She had always hated her blond hair color but today, it was very beautiful. It accentuated her deep blue eyes and brought out the rosiness of her skin.

"Mother,I look beautiful," Ruth chuckled.

"You have always been beautiful dear but today, you have to be extremely beautiful" Myla caught her eyes through the mirror and gave her a confused look.

"Why mother?" But Ruth just smirked....

Chapter 2 Captured

"First and foremost, the only way a human being can get into the wolf capital is through slave trading. Luckily for us, I'm friends with one of the slave traders and don't ask me how. And I just happened to know that they would be raiding a small village where humans live but they have no chief or anyone guarding them and that's why the slave traders would be able to attack them. Anyways, for tonight, you're not going to be a hero but you're going to be a damsel in distress.

They have to believe you're a weak little human they can sell off and you being beautiful would just make it faster for you to see the demon wolf. Do not worry, they won't touch you because the one I know amongst them will protect you, just stay still and enjoy the ride" Myla sighed while remembering what her mother told her as she walked towards the little village. Her instructions seemed simple enough, she just had to find a set of beautiful girls and blend in.

She searched for Noah and Luane and found them lurking in the shadows. They nodded at her and she nodded back before walking through the gates of the small village.

Everything here was different from her clan, they even wore different clothes. That was not her problem now, the sun was setting and the slave traders would be coming anytime soon.

She noticed people turned to stare at her but that was likely because she looked different and wore different clothes. Back in her clan, she and her father were the only ones who had blond hair and blue eyes but it seemed like she was the only one who had them in this village.

"And who might you be?" She turned to the voice and saw a pack of beautiful girls and the one who spoke stood in front like the leader. Myla smiled.

"It's getting late and my house is pretty far so I was wondering if I could stay here for a night" The girl in front scoffed then moved closer to her until they were almost touching noses.

"I don't like your face so no,you can't stay here" "And I don't like your smelly breath either" was what Myla would have said if she weren't undercover right now, she would have buried this girl deep deep deep into the ground.

"Yasmine, cut that out" A girl with dark messy Brunette hair walked up to them with a warning look on her face.

The girl who Myla assumed was Yasmine, scoffed.

"Oh, look who's here, it's little Melody. Who's going to stop me, huh?" Yasmine walked over to her and was about to poke Melody's chest but Melody grabbed her finger and twisted it.

"Ow!! Let go" Melody kicked Yasmine's knee and she fell to the ground with a loud groan.

"I said cut it out" Then she grabbed Myla's hand and walked away. Myla smiled at her from behind.

"Thank you" Melody shrugged.

"I just don't like Yasmine. What's your name and what are you really going here?" Melody asked as she turned to her with a suspicious look but Myla just smiled.

"Like I said, I just need a place to stay for a while" Melody wasn't convinced but before she could say anything else, a loud bang was heard at the entrance of the village.

"Slave traders!!" Someone yelled and everyone immediately broke out in a frenzy. Melody grabbed her and began running away with her and Myla had to go with her so she won't look too suspicious but she couldn't go too far so she would get caught by the slave traders. She had to think of something.

"Ow!" She yelled out as she fell to the ground. Melody turned back to her with wide eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"I twisted my ankle. You're going to have to go without me, I'm just going to drag you back" Melody nodded.

"Alright then" Myla snorted as she watched her run away. She didn't expect Melody would leave her like that.

She rolled her eyes as she stood up from the ground then ran towards where the slave traders were. As soon as she spotted one,she fell to the ground.

"Oh my, I've twisted my ankle and I can't run away!" She acted exactly like a damsel in distress, at least she hoped she did.

The man in front of her, furrowed his eyebrows then sighed before helping her up.

"Don't fight me, I know your mother" Myla eyes widened.

"How did you know she was my mother?" The man snorted.

"You both have horrible acting skills" Myla glared at him. Her acting was perfect.

He carried her to the carriage and had to act in front of his men so he pushed her inside. She gritted her teeth as she stood up from the ground and sat down on one of the seats. He didn't have to push her that hard.

As soon as she raised her head, she spotted Yasmine and her gang inside the carriage and she almost yelled in her face 'Guess who's a slave now' but she was a slave too so that won't make sense.

Just then, the carriage doors opened and another girl was thrown inside. She groaned.

"Watch it jeez, I'm delicate" Myla's eyes widened when she saw who it was.

"Melody?" Melody grinned at her.

"I couldn't let only you get sold off besides, I have nothing here for me anyways. The only bad thing now is that Yasmine just had to get captured" Yasmine rolled her eyes and Myla knew that she was certainly going to be friends with Melody.

Myla and Melody rolled their eyes in disgust as they watched Yasmine and her goons ugly cry. As soon as the carriage began to move, they had bursted out crying and Myla thought it was ridiculous.

First of all, there was absolutely no need to cry because they would still sell them off and thirdly, her mother had always told her that crying made someone look weak and that in the future, she should never cry. Myla had taken that advice to heart and after her father's burial, she had never cried.

Now, this crying girl in front of her just made her know she had made the right choice. Myla hated looking weak in front of anyone but it was such a Shame she had to look weak because of her mission. She sighed and tried to tune out the sound of Yasmine's crying.

"Will you shut the hell up? We are still miles away from the wolf's Realm. Do you intend to cry all the way there?" Melody spoke up with irritation laced in her voice.

Yasmine glared at her.

"Unlike you,I had a good live back at the village but now, I'm going to be a slave to a monster, do you know what they do to slaves that are beautiful like me? They use us as sex slave. Luckily, you can't experience that because you're not beautiful" Melody chuckled.

"Thank the heavens for that I guess" After that, everyone shut their mouth and just decided to enjoy the ride. Myla knew they were all thinking of how their new lives were going to be. She turned to Melody and when she saw the troubled look on her face, she couldn't help but feel bad. If it weren't for her, Melody would have never been caught.

She sighed and made a mental note to ask Noah and Luane to also look after Melody whenever they could. Speaking of which, she looked out the carriage window that had been sealed shut and stared into the forest.

Because of how stealth Noah and Luane were, it was kind of hard for anyone to see them but Myla grew up with them and could spot them from a mile away.

The carriage was moving very slowly so they were able to catch up. She smiled at them then turned to Melody and grabbed her hand.

Melody turned to her with a furrowed eyebrow.

"Don't worry, everything will be okay. '' Yasmine scoffed at her words but didn't say anything. Honestly,Myla had no clue if everything was going to be okay but she was going to do anything in her power to make sure Melody got a nice Owner.

Myla groaned as someone repeatedly tapped her cheek.

"Wake up already!" She heard Melody yell.

"Just slap her hard and she is bound to wake up" Myla couldn't help but inwardly roll her eyes when she heard Yasmine. She slowly sat up as she rubbed away the sleep in her eyes.

They had been on the road for four days and four nights with just occasional stops here and there for them to pee or go number two. Myla hadn't slept a wink for three days straight but on the fourth day, she couldn't help but get some shut eye. She didn't want to fall sick before meeting the demon boy, she couldn't afford to fall sick.

"What is it?" She questioned. Melody immediately pointed at the window with bright excited eyes.

Myla furrowed her eyebrows at her expression but slowly turned and immediately gasped when she saw the view. It was obvious they had reached the werewolf Realm because everything seemed different. The women weren't dressed in a puffy gown and corset like Myla had thought. In fact, they were dressed so simply. The female wore their kirtles and she saw some wore a corset on it but it wasn't required here. The men were dressed in tunics and trousers and the only way you could differentiate the rich from the poor was that the rich had on a fur coat and a lot of jewelry.

Myla couldn't help but fawn over how beautiful they all looked.

"Wow, who knew the wolf realm was so beautiful. Look at their clothes!" Melody couldn't help but say. Yasmine scoffed.

"Well,I don't think we should be happy to be here because any moment from now, we are all getting sold to one of these wolves and our lives will finally be over '' Myla frowned then leaned away from the window. She had forgotten her mission for a second there. For the first time,Yasmine was right. They shouldn't get carried away by the beauty of the place because they were evil beings who found joy in killing humans.

Suddenly, the carriage stopped.

"What's going on?" Yasmine asked with a shaky voice. Soon after, a man who has a scar on his face opened up the carriage doors and glared at them. He looked like he hated humans and just wanted to kill them but he wasn't a wolf but a human.

"Get down, all of you. Do not waste my time or I'll do something I will not regret" Myla narrowed her eyes at him but they all did as he said but it wasn't their fault that they were slow, their hands had been tied with chains and believe it or not, it was hard to move without hands.

Myla clenched her fist as the man grabbed Melody and yanked her harshly out of the carriage and she fell to the ground. She groaned out in pain but the man didn't seem to care.

"Hey! Can't you be more careful?" The words flew out of Myla's mouth before she could stop it. The man turned to her with a death glare.

"Do you have a death wish girl Because I'd be more than happy to grant it for you" Myla glared at him but didn't say anything more. She moved towards the door and before she could climb out, he grabbed her hand and tossed her roughly to the ground. Myla winced as soon as she felt her flesh scrape against the concrete ground.

"Next time you glare at me, I'll make sure to pluck your eyes out" And with that, he spat on her. Myla gasped then turned to him with fury in her eyes. She couldn't hold it back anymore, who did this fool think he was? She stood up on two feet, raised one of her legs and kicked the man right in his neck, restricting his air flow. He fell to the ground while holding his neck and trying to breathe and the scene made Myla very satisfied. No matter what, be it acting or a mission, no one was allowed to disrespect her. The sooner they knew this, the better....

Chapter 3 Sex slave

Myla was about to kick the man in the stomach when her mother's Alibi and another man ran towards them. They both rushed towards their subordinate.

"Who the hell did this?" The other man raged.

"It was her!" Yasmine immediately yelled out while pointing at Myla with a smug smile on her face. Myla narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything to counter Yasmine's claim because she regretted nothing. Given the chance, she would do it again.

The other men turned to her with a glare. He stood up and raised his hand to smack her on the face but her mother's Alibi held his hand.

"Why are you stopping me from disciplining this rude slave, James?" The other man questioned as his eyes turned into slits.

"If you disfigure her face, who do you think is going to buy her then?" James explained and the other man immediately nodded then helped the man who was coughing out blood up from the ground.

"Find a way to deal with her then while I take care of Henry" James nodded then unlocked her from the chain that was used to bind all the girls together and dragged her to the back of a carriage so no one could see them.

"Are you crazy, girl? I don't know why I expected this to happen. You are no different from your mother" Myla furrowed her eyebrows.

"What's your relationship with my mother?" James waved off her question.

"Now is not the time to talk about that. Do not reveal your identity to anyone or you'll be dead meat. This is a wolf territory and one thing wolves hate more than humans and vampires are hunters. Not many humans knew how to fight so in order to be safe, do not fight with anyone for now till you have completed what you came here to do. There are some things even I won't be able to protect you from especially in a place like this where humans have no say" Myla sighed then nodded. She had indeed gotten carried away.

"Alright, let's head back"

"Why did we stop here in the first place?" Myla whispered as they walked towards the rest.

"We aren't allowed to drive the carriage towards the capital so we have to go on foot" Myla frowned. The wolves really had a lot of rules here.

James grabbed her arm and shoved her towards the rest of the girls after he had chained her down.

Melody immediately moved closer to her.

"What did he do to you?" Myla shook her head.

"Nothing" Then she turned to Yasmine with a smirk. Yasmine scoffed but didn't say anything more.

"Okay, move your asses!!" The commander shouted at them. Myla rolled her eyes but did as was told. She didn't have any choice anyways.

"Why didn't we just ride the carriage there?" Melody asked.

"It's because the wolves won't let us ride in," Melody scoffed.

"If they hate humans this much then why do they keep us as slaves?" Myla shrugged. She knew it was either to satisfy their huge ego or they wanted to remind Humans that they were below wolves.

"Hey! Get out of the way!!" Everyone turned to the voice and gasped. A huge carriage with angry looking horses were galloping their way towards the girls.

Because of how close the carriage already was, the only option the girls had was to jump out of the way and since they were all chained together, it was hard for all of them to keep their balance so when Jasmine stumbled, they all stumbled and fell to the ground.

Myla groaned as her head connected with a rock. Gosh, why was all these happening to her today?!

She touched the spot lightly and when she felt the blood, she immediately turned to the carriage in anger but it slowly turned into confusion when she noticed someone staring at her from within the carriage. When the person spotted her, he or she quickly closed the curtain.

"That was weird," She thought.

"Ughh these wolves are really getting on my nerves. Why must they treat us this way? They could have easily stopped the horse but nooo! We just had to get out of the way. Myla? Are you okay?" Myla turned to Melody with a smile. Yes she was injured on her forehead but it didn't hurt whereas Melody was bleeding on her elbow. Myla grabbed her hand and stared at the injury.

It wasn't serious so it wouldn't leave a mark.

"Press your clothes on it to dry off the blood and the injury would heal" Melody nodded then stared at the injury on her forehead with worry.

"What about yours?" Myla smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine" As if in cue, she caught sight of Luane and Noah on a roof and she immediately heaved a sigh of relief. She thought it was going to be hard for them to get into the wolf realm but Noah and Luane were known back home for being able to sneak inside any town or city without being caught.

"Do you think we have time for this dilly dally? Get walking already!" The commander shouted and they all obeyed but Myla couldn't get the person she saw in the carriage out of her head. She only saw an eye but those eyes alone gave her a feeling of deja Vu but the only wolf she had ever seen was that demon boy. Could that have been him?

Myla frowned as they got to a warehouse. It was very dirty and seemed like it had been abandoned for centuries. Was this where they were going to stay for now?

"This is where you're all going to stay till the sales start so we can't have you looking dirty for the wolves because we need to make a lot of money from you guys to make up for the loss we experienced last time. Bath and change into the clothes we give you!" Just then, two males cane out of the warehouse and toss clothes to them one by one.

Myla held up her gown and couldn't help but gasp. It was so revealing! What were they, prostitute?

The man she had kicked a while ago who she now knew as Henry, narrowed his eyes on her.

"What is this problem, girl?" He questioned as he stalked towards her. She stood her ground and stared right into his eyes. There was no way she was going to wear this.

"This clothes is too revealing for a lady to wear. We are being sold off as slaves not prostitutes" Henry chuckled.

"Yes, you're being sold off as slaves but have you ever wondered what kind of slaves? Look around, there were many males in that village but we didn't take any because why? The wolves here have enough slaves so what they need now are sex slaves" Myla's eyes widened. What? Why hadn't she been informed about the change of system?

She turned to James and he seemed just as surprised as she was. This was bad, she couldn't be a sex slave to no one especially a wolf. There was no way!....
