Ashy Lopez originates from a modest background.
She is blessed to have a loving mother and sister who, despite their poverty, are not in need of anything.
She is currently in her fourth year of college.
She's taking Business Management because it's always been her ambition to work in that field.
To work for a business.
If only, it was with a large corporation.
Because the school was so far away from their home, she had to rent a boarding house with her classmates' buddies.
They're fine.
She is contented because she is concentrating on her academics.
She has been on the dean's list since she was in her first year, which is proof of that.
Her life goal is to graduate from college with a solid job and help her famil. The family that giving her happiness.
Many people are enamored with her attractiveness, but no one has a heart for her.
She isn't a lesbian, perhaps she hasn't found love yet.
She's in his fourth year of college, a little scared yet excited to graduate.
She was ecstatic right now.
When Ashy was about to get into school, their bedroom door was knocked on.
Here she met Mark, another of his board members.
"Ohh Mark, why?" she inquired.
"Ash, please lend me your speaker first since we're going to play later, please, we need background music, please... I'll give it back," he pleaded.
It recognizes him.
He was well aware of his impending doom.
He was aware that she was cautious with her possessions and that, if at all possible, she did not want them tampered with or without her knowledge.
She was approached by the speaker.
She reached out to him and said, "Yes, that's all you said."
"Thank you," he said, introducing himself, Storm Robles, a new board member who had just moved in the night before. "Storm meet Ash," he said.
"Hi!
"It's nice to meet you," Storm said.
She simply glanced at him as if nothing had happened, then said goodbye and walked away.
She preferred to walked into her class
It was a hard day for her because it was the night after her class, her professor works in his major field, so his classes conclude at night. Nevertheless, because the school was close to hwe boarding place, she just strolled there.
She walked to school because it was close to his boarding place.
Her already strained personality grew much more stressed as she knocked on the gate. When someone opened the gate for her, she was taken aback.
It said, "Hi! Hey, good night ahh."
"So, what's your issue?" she asked, looking disgusted.
It takes bravery to ask her "Ehem! It's late because you're alone, aren't you scared?"
"No, and why?" She replied, "You'll beat my father if you criticize me ahh!" she was already annoyed by his response. He seemed to be kidding about what he was doing since he was so disgusted with it. He was about to say something to her when she strolled into their room.
"Annoying!" She exclaimed, irritated, when her bag landed on the floor.
"Annoying!" she grumbled when her bag fell on the bed, which her pal immediately noticed.
"Heyyyy..why? What's up? Why are you so bored there?" Jem inquired as she and her companion entered the room.
"Oh, I see. Maybe she saw her crush with his girlfriend and then she was so lovely, so she was like that," his grouchy and liberated friend, Weng slyly answered.
She replied, "None of the above, score zero."
"Then, what is it?" Jem fixed his gaze on him.
"You know, our new boardmate is pretty bothersome, and my father would be much better if he could tell me about coming home at this time," she says.
"Hmmm... maybe he was just a worried," Weng said, slapping him on the back.
She defended, "Well, that's where his care is needed, we're not close."
"Hey, he's a nice guy, you know? His ability to laugh at himself. I might fall in love with that guy if you chat to him! "Even more intriguing was Jem's statement.
"Me? Is it possible for me to fall in love there? Are you all right? I believe you're experiencing a bad dream, " she responded as though what they were saying wasn't likely to happen.
"Hayy! It's difficult to say goodbye. If you're me, get dressed and follow me into the kitchen, and we'll talk about it.
She could still see the man he despised eating when she turned around. She doesn't have an option but to consume the food because she can eat it every day with him.
She was cleaning the dish when she heard a voice behind her say, "Need help?" She was so astonished that she almost let grip of the plate.
"You haven't done anything nice in your life, and your proclivity for interfering. Get out of here!" She said, repelling it.
He merely gazed at her, " I never though, you're serious really! I just want to help you."
"I don't require assistance. I can handle another minor task, therefore, you may depart."
He just keep an eye on her. He then took a seat at the table. "Perhaps there will be a ghost here later," he suggested, before taking a seat at the table.
She would have poured water on it sooner if it wasn't just impolite, so that it would leave her sight, purposefully giving birth to the fact that it seems to have no other purpose in life but to disrupt the lives of the living.
It's the same old story. There isn't a single day when they aren't taunted or irritated.
Until the weeks and months went by. Of course, the person who had been teased previously did not disappear. Of course, he has a great sense of humor, which she appreciates. It also conceals decency. Or maybe she couldn't notice it because it was covered by her irritation with it at the time.
They grow to know each other better over time and gain a deeper understanding of each other's disposition.
"Well Ashy, it appears like you and Storm are doing fine huh," Jem once said.
"Hmmm... it's okay," she laughed, "there's also a little common sense in masking the insane."
"Girl, you can fall in love with that, remember, you've never been in love in your life. Try once to come up with an idea," Jem cynically said.
Ashy burst out laughing. He wondered aloud, "How come?" How does it feel to be in love with something like that?"
How can it make a difference in people's lives?
Every weekend, Ashy returns home to her parents' house, as her parents had requested that she return once a week. As a result, she only returns from their boarding every Sunday afternoon because she has to start the day early on Monday. That's how she's always done things.
"Why are you taking so long, Ashy? I've been waiting for you for a long time," Jem grumbled as she sat in the living room.
"Why, what's going on?" She asked, wondering whether they had gone for a walk.
"Well, we agreed to have a picnic today. It should yesterday, but we couldn't be reached anyone yesterday,." she said
"There was no signal at home yesterday." she answered.
"Ohh!" she rushed to her. "go ahead and mend the stuff you're carrying, get dressed, and we'll follow them to the water."
The sea was only a short distance away from where they were about to board. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, so they have plenty of opportunities to bond.
"Oh, Storm is here already? Wasn't he supposed to arrive on Monday?" Ashy inquired, she gaze falling on Storm in the sea.
"Ahh yes, in case we persuaded him to come now because we're having a picnic," says Jem.
"Is it so?" she asked as she sat on the sand.
"What did you do there?" Jem asked. "Let's take a bath."
"I'll swim later; I'm still tired from the journey, I want to stay here for a moment," Ashy says.
"All right, we'll wait for you?"
She simply nodded.
"Ohh Jem, what happened there with you?" Mark inquired. "Why didn't she come here?"
"Let her relax first," Jem added at the same moment, "since she just rushed in coming here."
Storm said, "I'll just go with you first. I think sje needs a company"
He paid a visit to Ashy.
"You know, with a little more push," Weng added, "those two can also be developed."
"You're completely insane, we'll see whether Storm can handle her," Mark challenges.
"As long as we just tease them," Jem said, "we'll give them that as well." She had most likely consumed water.
"Why are you simply sitting there, not taking a bath?" "Are you terrified of the sea?" He was joking when he sat next to her and handed her the food.
"No ahh!I'll have another day here, maybe I'll just break my skin." She exclaimed.
"Which part?" he asked, laughing.
He replied, laughing out loud, "in the armpit." He had no idea it was staring at him, like if he'd just heard a woman laugh out loud.
She said once, wiping her face, "Why do you look like that? Do I have dirt on my face?"
"It's not surprising, you're laughing heartily, and you don't seem to have a problem with yourself."
"Of course. When I'm happy with the person I'm with, the one who isn't an artist, I can be myself without any restrictions." She answered vocally.
"So you're at ease with me?" he inquired, his gaze remaining fixed on her.
"Of course, I'm comfortable with all of you, of course, we used to live in the same house, but we should be comfortable with each other."
"All right," he said, staring out over the water.
He felt repulsed as it gazed at her whether she admitted it or not. His stare now appears to signify something different than it did before. On the other side, she was content. Was she simply overjoyed? Oh, with the exhilaration?
They returned home as soon as they were finished showering. She was perplexed by everyone's silence, as though no one wanted to be a bully.
When it comes to boarding, they have a lot of options.
Storm startled her by saying, "You just take the shower first, I'll just take a shower when you're done..." On boarding, there are only two bathrooms. A woman and a man.
Storm offered her but.. "I'll just have to wait until Jem and Weng are done. Then it'll be my turn. "
"No, just wait here and I'll take care of everything." That is all and he started to fetch water for me. It turned serious all of a sudden, as if the wind had shifted.
She then pondered if she had said anything here that irritated him, but his wash would still carry away the common sense that irritated him. He was really taken aback.
"Hello there! Ashy... " Jem touched her as she wiped the plate, and they ended up eating in silence, which was refreshing.
"Why?" She enquired sarcastically.
"What is that?" it inquired.
"What is that?" She asks again here.
"Are you wondering why Storm drowned you earlier?"
"I'm not sure, really, I'm also astonished, what might have occurred, why did it suddenly become like that?"
"Omg! You might have said something awkward," it added.
She defended herself, saying, "No. I don't think so, we went home like that as uou have seen it."
"Hmmm it make me wonder. Maybe you're in the sink, just don't confess it," she said quietly as she stopped laughing.
"Silly! There's that annoyance. You're still bathing me."
On the other hand.....
"Bro, you're quiet ahh," Mark patted him on the back while sitting on their bed.
"I'm just tired, bro. I'm okay."
"Admit it, man, I'm familiar with you. From head to toe, I'm familiar with you. You're a person who makes a lot of noise. When you hit a woman, you just keep quiet.
"I don't know, bro," Storm said honestly.
Mark, the one of his buddies who knows him best.
"I immediately felt as though my universe had transformed as we were chatting and I was staring at her." he admitted frankly without any second thought.
"But you can't admit it to yourself, and you know you can't," Mark replied. "It's up to you first, bro."
"I'll tell you how I feel. All right bro, but think hard," Mark reminded him.
He wasn't sure if it was right. Earlier, while Ashy was laughing out loud, he saw the class of woman he had been dreaming of for a long time. Just the simple laugh, he didn't think that would suddenly change how he felt, and while he was staring at her, some part of his heart was happy.
Months and days passed. They grew more comfortable with one other. Their pals did not intervene in their mocking. Until one night, when they were all dining at the same time.
"What's going on fascinates me," Weng stated as she ate simpky looking at them one by one.
"Which part gave you a rush? Oh, nearly every man you see gets a rush," Jem taunted, laughing.
"He winked at Jem," at least I confess, how about the others present, it's been so obvious and yet they can't even admit it.
They knew who would be the subject of the talk, so Storm refocused his attention. Storm appears to be enraged, and Ashy is already embarrassed.
"Stop right there, what else will this Storm consider later?" Ashy replied, clearly ashamed. His pals have a valid point. Even if she hides it, she knows that as she encountered Storm, she became close to it, to the point where she felt disappointed when she couldn't see it. Is it true that she adores him, as her pals claim? Or maybe, she's also been misunderstood.
They continued to be harassed in this manner. Until she gradually realizes that she cares more passionately about Storm. It's something she truly enjoys. Shele understands this since she's not so easy to deal with when they're face to face. She couldn't even look it in the eyes straight. But why is it the case? Why does it tend to steer clear of him? Is she dissatisfied with it? She felt ashamed of herself once more. Is she correct in hwr feelings?
"Pssst... do you love him?" Jem stood up from her bed and floated towards her, her gaze fixed on the ceiling.
She couldn't understand herself and added, "I don't know, I don't know, it appears."
"Is he in love with you?" Jem inquired.
"I also don't know, I get the idea that he's been avoiding me over the last few days. He doesn't laugh as much as he used to, and when we're in the living room, he doesn't join in on our stories and foolishness, you know, he seems to be avoiding me," she sighs.
"I also pay attention to that and you are right. When it's just the two of us, he's fine. When you're not kidding, but when you're the topic he suddenly avoids, he opens another topic." Jem inquired, his mouth agape.
"Insane! What does the future hold for us? We don't even know that you are aware of. "Perhaps he can't be my type," Jem joked.
"Perhaps, let me go, I'll forget my promise," she assured her friend. "You're still a force to be reckoned with." she laughed to soothe her friend's feelings,
"You're both smart, you're both crazy."
"you know what? I'm wondering if I said something bad to him all of a sudden, " she pondered again.
"As long as I'm here Ash, I'll support you, Weng and I. If you're happy, but if you update us, maybe you'll be fine and you won't simply tell us," he sulked.
"Yes, but not really," she responded, "I swear, look he's already avoiding me."
A couple more days went in the same way, and it's still going on. She also avoided Storm so she wouldn't look like an idiot. So when she realized she was with the gang, she was the one who made sure Storm didn't notice, which astonished him. Everyone gathered in the living room one day. Ashy simply walked by them, ignoring Mark's cry. He simply excused himself, claiming that he had a lot of important things to do though there's none..
Everyone was hushed one night as they were eating, as if they were chasing the food, as if they were all in a rush. What her companions were doing perplexed Ash.
After some time had passed, one by one, everyone at the table rose from their seats, which astounded her. They were never like that before. Because they used to converse after dinner, but today they all stood up silently, leaving only Storm and Ash. That was something that bothered her. She don't understand and she couldn't figure out.
"Hey, wait, why are you moving so quickly?" she inquired, but no one responded.
She was going to get up since she was so chilly, and Storm was the only one at the table with her, when Storm grabbed her hand.
"Sit down," he whispered, his voice low and mournful in a way she couldn't express.
"Just a moment, Storm, because I know how dramatic these guys can be. Is it appropriate for them to abandon us here? When I try to contact them, they don't even respond? " It was still standing, and Storm had her hand in his.
"Sit down, because I think we have something to talk about," he said again, his serious expression and tone of voice remaining constant.
He thought to herself, "He's even more handsome when he's that serious, and maybe even more handsome when he's angry."
"Did you hear me Ash? I said sit down!" he says again because the person he's talking to's thoughts appears to be flying.
Ash stared at him, instantly uncomfortable because he had been staring at her for some time, as though studying her every motion.
The man posed the question, "Is there a problem?"
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? Is there a problem?" She began, still staring at him.
"I've been noticing that your friends have been hearing about us for the past few days," he said.
"Didn't you get used to those up until now, Storm? They've been like that to us since the beginning, am I right? So, what's new in that stuff?" She wanted to say that he was the one who changed, but she kept it to herself since she didn't want their conversation to go somewhere else.
"So, should I get used to your newfound aversion to me as well? Do you think I'm not paying attention? " He inquired, his eyes staring, and he realized to himself that he had avoided a bit because she was perplexed, but she didn't expect him to do the same.
Ashy was going to stand up and leave Storm, but he clutched it tightly in his palm.
