Hope's adventure

In united kingdom lies a state called England, populated with English, Welsh and Scottish business men and women. In England lives a young and intelligent lad called Allen Hope, who lives in the mountains with his family, who lost his father years ago now becomes the bread winner of his family.

He works for a man who he helps to sell charcoal.

' hey make it snappy, I don't have much time ', Hope boss said to him.

Hope walks up to him, he was tall and fair in complexion, he replied his boss.

' am coming just give me a minute ', in a light tone.

As he was about turning his back, his boss held him and said to him.

' we don't have much time, you need to supply the coal before it becomes winter season ', in a soft tone.

Allen hope replied his boss.

' ok, and i promise that I won't take much time ', in a low tone.

As he walks through the door, his boss said to him again.

' make sure you take the day off tomorrow '.

A wide smile emerged from his face.

' I will sir ', he replied his boss before walking out on him.

A black horse ran through a broken branch, it grazing sends sand up into the air, on top of the horse was Hope, he was looking stunning as the horse gallops through the forest.

Suddenly he arrives at a house where he jumps down from his horse and knocks on a door.

' knock, knock ', his clenched fists softly collides with the iron door.

' I am coming just a minute ', the man said to him.

But he kept knocking till the man aggressively pulls the door and said again.

' have you gone deaf, I said am coming ', in an aggressive tone.

It was at that moment he sights a human figure by the door. To his surprise it was Hope.

He smiles and said to him.

' well, well, if it isn't my old friend ', in a happy tone.

' my boss said I should give you this before winter hits us again ', Hope said to him while standing outside of his house.

The man looks at him from head to toe before he replied him.

' come in before it gets dark ', in a soft tone while opening his door for him to come in.

' am sorry but I don't have much time sir, I have to leave for Lincoln today ',he replied the man in a low tone while staring at the arising.

But the man insisted saying.

' just come in before it becomes late ', in a soft tone.

Hope walks into the house.

It was dark and the cold wind of winter goes in through their faces, the man was busy adding coal to the fire while Hope sits close to it to keep himself warm, the man walks up to him with a cup of tea.

The man said to him.

' take this, it will keep you warm before you rest for morning ', in a light tone accompanied with a smile on his face.

Allen takes the cup from him and replied him with a joyful tone and a wide smile on his face.

' thanks alot, like you knew I was cold '.

Hope sips from the cup, as soon as he was done, he rose up and walks towards the door to take his leave but he was intruded by the man saying.

' hey, stop right there, I can't just let you go out like that, you have to take your rest before something bad happens to you, I won't be able to forgive myself ', in a serious tone accompanied with it's look.

But Hope resists him and walks up to the door, about to open it he saw some blur, it was dark for him to identify the figures.

' gallops ', they gallops on horses and rides through the environment, each were armed and dressed on a traditional cloak accompanied with unsheathe swords.

In fear Hope moves back and slowly locked the door behind him.

' who are they ', he said to the man in a cold tone accompanied with fear written all over his face.

' they are hunters ', he replied Hope.

As the galloping sounds disrupted their conversation, causing an indoor earthquake.

' what are they hunting ', Allen replied him.

He kept quiet for a while, staring through his window, he could slowly see them vanishing from a distance, the tale he was about to tell will cripple you in fear, Hope shievers in fear while clenching his teeths against each other, the surrounding became dramatic and sadistic when he replied him.

' demons, they are hunting for demons ', in a bold tone with fear written all over his appearance from the dark.

' demons ', Hope replied him while staring at him.

' I don't understand you, I have not seen this kind of people before in my life not even to hear that they are hunters ', Hope replied him in a deep tone.

The man laughs mischievously and smirks at him.

' demons exist, but they are not spiritual but are like us humans but are given supernatural abilities that even humans can't explain ', the man replied him in a soft tone.

Hope smiles at him and turns his back view against him.

' I don't believe a thing you say, but I do believe that demons are invisible because they are spirits and not human, you are trying to convince me that the demons you are talking about are like us, humans ', Hope replied him.

Hope went on saying.

' you have to keep it together before you lose it ', in a soft tone.

As the man noticed that he does not believe a word he is saying, he then highlighted him on their way of life.

' years ago, a young boy like yourself also doubted the fact about the existence of demons, but on till one night, himself and his family were eating together, smiling and laughing together until the unthinkable happened ', the man kept quiet for a while.

' what happened ', hope asked the man.

' you really want to know ? ', the man replied him in a soft tone.

They both kept quiet for a while before the heart breaking event happened.

' his family were brutally slaughtered and eaten up, bit by bit, he was the only one who survived the brutal attack that night ', the man said to him in a soft tone.

' what happened to him now ', Hope asked.

' that young man lives to tell his tale and his me, am that young man ', he replied Hope with tears slowly dripping down his face.

Hope walks up to him and hugs him saying.

' don't worry, it's all in the past, it can not redo the future but I want you to forget about it ', in a soft tone.

The man slowly moves away from him and walks up to a door, he turns on the light and said to him.

' rest, because tomorrow is going to be a long day ', in a broken tone.

He walks away from him and Hope nods his head and went to his bed.

The following morning, the environment was cold as snowflake slowly drops down from the sky, Hope was still asleep when the man woke him up and said to him.

' lazy bone, get up you don't have all day you know, you have to keep up against the snow ', in a low tone.

And as Hope heard about the snow, immediately he rose up on his feet and ran towards the window.

' ooh no, I was not preparing for this ', he said out loud to himself in a loud tone.

He saw the snow around the man's compound, making a seal that trapped them in.

' you know, it's not too early to take a hike ', the man said to him in a bold tone.

As he saw the expression on Hope's face, he burst into laughter and slowly walks out on him.

' Zoom ', Hope runs through the blizzards, it's harsh winds blew through his face, sending objects towards his direction, Hope been stubborn refuse to back down, he kept moving forward till he arrived at a small shack where he seeks shelter.

He shievers in pain and slowly opens the door. What he saw was breath taking.

' tch ', Hope expressed in fear.

Several dead bodies were lying around, some without head, while some without hands and legs, blood slowly rolls to his feet, as he walks in to have a clearer view, one of the man rose up and said to him.

' boy, you have to go warn the cites, tell them that the demons have penetrated in ', he said to him in a dying tone.

Hope ran towards him and rose up his head.

' how can I help you ', Hope said to him.

The man stares at a sword on the table and points his hand at it.

' kill me ', he replied Hope.

' no, I can't do that, I have not killed a man before and I would not do it now ', Hope replied him and walks away from him.

As the man saw deception in his eyes, he slowly rose his hand and touches Hope shoulder.

' tch ', Hope expressed in shock.

' if you don't kill me, I will kill you, if you fear to kill a man, then help me with my sword and let me kill myself ', in a slow tone accompanied with tears dripping on his blood.

Hope walks up to the table and picks up the sword, he gives him the sword, the man took it and rose up the sword against himself and stabbed himself, the man slowly drops his hand holding the sword and past on to death.

Hope became scared and slowly walks away from the shack into the snow.

As he slowly walks through the blizzard, he could hear sounds of the wind blowing through his face, suddenly he had a weird feeling that he was been watched by someone or something, because of fear he ran and hide himself behind a tree, he could hear footsteps of the animal, slowly reaching his destination when a loud ' Thud ' causing the snow to slid through the forest taking Hope with it.

' arrgh ', Hope expressed in fear as he was going fast that he could not even see where he was or where he was going to.

' I have to find away out of here ', he said to himself while gazing at a tree.

As he was about passing by, he held on to the tree, and the snow went past him.

As the disaster stopped, Hope rose up on his feet and slowly walks forward when he looks down, he realized that he was trapped at the edge of a cliff.

' ooh boy ', he muttered to himself while slowly moving around, he saw a crack on the ground as he moved forward, he saw a wide hole, separating him from another mountain.

It was a beautiful day at Lincoln, England, as usual, the environment was enlightened with happiness and joy while finding his way in was Hope, he was looking exhausted and slowly staggers on his feet to a cart, he took his seat with three women inside of it with him, suddenly a conversation went on in the cart.

' now and days life have just been very cruel, imagine been happy and suddenly dying today ', one of the woman said with a broken tone.

The other went on saying.

' it's already enough, we can't just sit down and watch our loved ones die like animals, we have to put an end to it ', in an aggressive tone.

The conversation went on.

' it's just too much ', one of the woman said to the other.

Hope became optimistic and thought to himself.

' what are they talking about ', he said to himself in a soft tone.

As the cart stopped by a house, Hope steps down from the cart and walked up to the door.

As he knocks on door, Gwen opens it and hugged him.

' welcome back bro ', she said to Hope.

' where are the others ', he said to Gwen.

' they went out not too long ', Gwen replied him with a smile on her face.

Hope walks in and locks the door behind him.

The following morning, Hope got up early, he was wearing a snow coat and snow boots, he was about walking out when his mother stood against him and the door .

' hello, it have been long since we have ever had a short conversation like this my boy ', his mother said to him with a smile on her face.

Hope turns his back to see his mother smiling at him, he runs up to her and braces her before she moves back and said to him.

' I want you to take good care of yourself and your siblings because they are the only thing you and I have after your father's unfortunate death '.

' but I have to go out and hustle for us to survive, because..... ', Hope replied her before he was interupted by his mom.

' hey, that's enough, what I mean is that you should take care of not only yourself but your siblings as well, just take good care of yourself ok, and get me that tea you always promised ' his mother replied Hope.

' ok mother, I will get you that British tea alright ', Hope replied his mother before walking out on her and slowly waving his hands at her.

Hope was busy carry coal to and fro to different locations and it was already becoming late, he ran through road not knowing his boss was calling for him inside of the shop.

' Hope, Hope where are you ', his boss yelled out loud to their hearing.

As he looks at his window, he sights Hope running through the dark roads.

As Hope was about reaching his house, he had a weird feeling that something was about to happen but he was too scared to even focus.

As he got to his house, he saw the door broken down and thrown against the ground, he slowly walks forward and what he saw will make you wish you were not in his position.

' what happened here, mom, Gwen, Stefani, where are you guys, hello ', Hope said to the dark void enveloping the room.

As he was about stepping in, he saw blood strainings around the room, he mistakenly rest by the wall and not knowing that he hit the switch, as the light turns on, he saw dead bodies of his siblings and his mother.

Tears dripping down his cheek, Hope stood still for a while still trying to process what he saw, the dead bodies of his siblings, all of them lying on their own blood, it was like a nightmare, he moves back and staggers backwards where he heard a sniffing sound.

He looks back and saw Gwen lying down on their younger brother, she was bruised up and was at the point of dying.

Hope rushed down to her and tries helping her up, as he rose her up, Gwen slowly opens his eyes and said to him.

' Hope, please run, don't stay here you will die just go please I love you, we love you ', in a weak tone accompanied with a sadistic look on her face.

Hope had no choice but to carry his dying sister and search for help, as he checked the other bodies for survival, he lost hope when he discovered that his sister is the only survival of the massacre.

He rose up his sister and slowly walks out of the house, as he was out in the forest, Gwen blood drips on Hope as he was staggering further to save his own sister from death.

Unknown to him that Gwen was slowly transforming into a beast.

' brother, am hungry, please let's stop to eat ', Gwen said to Hope.

As Hope heard, he stopped and began to try helping her to a small restaurant near by, as they opened the door, the people in the restaurant became quiet and began to look at them like they were criminals.

' please I need some biscuits and a hot tea ', Hope said to the waitress in a soft tone while observing his sister as she slowly moves her head to and fro.

' here you go, and anything for you ', the waitress said to him but he nods his head at her and she slowly walks out on him.

As Gwen was eating very fast, Hope was surprised to see that she had already finished the food.

' brother, I need more please tell them to add more meat ', Gwen said to Hope.

' ok, hey, bring more food and add more meat ', he replied Gwen.

As the waitress came in with the food, Gwen dragged the dish out of her hands and began to devour the food, Hope slowly reaches for her plate when she yelled at him with her fang contracting from her mouth.

' leave me alone, hands off my food ', Gwen said to him in a bold tone.

' but let me just have a little bit ', Hope replied her and was about reaching for the plate when she drags it away from him and hissed at him.

As she began to eat, Hope discovered that she was getting bigger and stronger as well, as she was done, she drops down the plate and said to Hope.

' I need meat, get me meat ', in a scary tone with her back view against him as he heard her voice for the third time, he could tell that something is wrong.
