A smirk was plastered on Rex's face as he drove roughly to his Target's mansion- Mr. George

He parked few houses away from his(Mr. George) house, According to the information given to him; He is to kill Mr George only.

He put on his mask before stepping out of his car, then he tucked in the brownish silent pistol into the bullet proof outfit trousers as he began his journey to Mr. George's mansion he wouldn't be passing through the gate to avoid suspicions from the securities

"Mr. Please don't kill me" the average built man pleaded as Rex pointed the gun at his forehead.

One could tell that he was visibly scared to the Bone.

"For making me stand close to two minutes before opening the door, you'll watch your children die right in your face" he (Rex) stated and kicked him (Mr George) real hard on the Face, Mr George starggered and fell on the bed

Slowly Mr George made to pick his phone but Rex was fast enough to notice the slick movement, without thinking twice, he fired two bullets consecutively.

Light scream escaped from his mouth after Rex fired another bullet at his right hand, he smiled lightly and asked "you really think I came to here to play?"

He laughed dryly and left the room

*Somewhere in Mexico*

"Come on Bethel, you'll get us late at the party" Becca growled angrilly at the sleeping Bethel on the bed

"Uhmm uhmm" came Bethel's reply

"It's just past three, please lemme sleep more" she pleaded

"Past three?" Becca scoffed

"Come on babe, it's past seven already" she half yelled

"Whaat?" Bethel shrinked and jumped down from the bed, she ran into the bathroom to get prepared

"Thought you were sleeping" Becca, scoffed as she saw the little drama she (bethel) just displayed

*Minutes later*

Bethel came out of the bathroom dripping wet, she went straight to her closet and brought out a blue crop top alongside with a blue tight jeans trousers

She applied her lotion, put on the clothes and went to her makeup table to get a lips gloss... She painted her lips the way she wanted

"Bethel are you not done yet?"

She heard her friend yell from the bedroom

"Chill okay, I'm almost done" she stated slowly as she dressed her hair

"Wow! You look beautiful" Becca complimented as she stepped out of the dressing room

"I know right" she replied with an eye roll

"Come on, can't you learn to appreciate things" Becca growled, pretending to be angry

"I'm I to wear a snicker, a flat sandals or heels?" She asked putting on a puppy face

"Bethel you're something elsewhere"

"Whatever" she muttered as she put on her blue snickers

"Take this and put it on" Becca said showing her a diamond necklace

She collected it and put it on

"What about my bag? She asked Becca who was sitting on the bed

"Oh! I suddenly forgot that you'll be needing a bag" Becca teased as she(Becca) left the bed to get her a bag

"Here, take this" she (Becca) handed her (Bethel) a blue bag

"Gosh we're running late for the party" Bethel muttered as she looked up at the wall clock hung up on the wall

They came out of the room heading to the parking lot, some of the workers the came across greeted them with a bow. Of course they wouldn't dare look at them in eye.

They got to the parking lot and about six men in unforms came rushing towards them

"No escorts today" she said loudly for their hearing

"But m..." "No buts" she cut one who seems to be their leader off and collected the car keys from him

She slide in the driver's seat and Becca went to the other seat, then they drove straight to the party

Rex came back only to see Mr George contacting the police, he (Rex) got angry and shot him (Mr George) directly in the chest.

"Aargh" Mr George groaned and touched his bleeding chest.

Rex released a dry laugh and said " Even though the police come, they'll never catch me" with that, he shot his Target on the skull... Soon he heard the siren of the police

"They are here" he thought within and shot his Target's children, then he proceeded out of the room... He got to the stairs and met some huge men in the same outfit. Obviously they looked like guards but not in match with him.

"Hey you, stop there"

He heard a voice behind him, he turned to see a pot belied man in a police uniform pointing a gun towards him

"Your hands up" the pot belied man groused and came to him

He gave the police man a hard kick, then snatched his (Police man) gun and shot him in the skull... The guards looked at him in fright then rushed towards him at once

He dodged a coming punch from the first guard then shot him down dead. He fired tactically till they were all down

He advanced towards the sitting room where he met more Police men who kept trouping in and out.

"Fuck!!" He cursed under his breath as he stole a glance at his wrist watch

He needed to act fast, he needed to get to his boss mansion, he retreated and found himself in front of a room, his fist tightened against his pistol... Without thinking twice, he gave the door a hard kick, it opened roughly and then he rushed in moving towards the window

Chapter 2.

When Rex got to the window side, he opened it then jumped through it, he landed roughly on the floor, then he headed to the gate.

Lukily for him, He met few police on his way which he never hesitated to deal with them

He parked roughly at the road.

"Fuck!"

He cursed under his breath as he stole a glance at his wristwatch.. and hopped down the black limo Time wasn't on his side anymore...

Thanks to the fools who wasted his precious time..

He took a long strode... Soon enough he got to a got building which was obviously a mansion...

As he got to the main entrance, he tried to input the password but was taken aback when the giant gate opened itself...

"Oh!" He muttered....

And headed straight into the lounge which was connected to different rooms, one of which has been given to him whenever he decided to visit the mansion... He smelt the familiar sweet smell of the room and closed his eyes...

Again... He was relaxed and wouldn't bother about anything in the world...

This has been his room for the past five years...

His mind went briefly went back to his past he hardly remembers...

His boss had told me he was seen on a cold floor obviously unconscious.

His boss pitied him, then took him in,

When he woke days back, the man asked him who he was but he couldn't remember anything from be his past, the man later introduced him to Assassin's job which he gladly accept cause he doesn't has any choice, as time goes on, he got to know that the boss has a a son and a daughter, his (boss) daughter never lives with them but outside the country until some months back, he heard that the lady came back to the country-mexico, though he has never seen her not to talk of speaking with her, for the boss's son, he's also an assassin but nothing compared to him when it comes to fighting.

He heard she rumors that the boss's daughter is an adopted child to the boss, but Jack is his (boss) real son.

Since he got to the Assassin's mansion, no one has ever seen his face except the boss, even though he doesn't go out on a mission, he puts on mask but not scary mask tho.

"Welcome" he heard his (Jack) annoying voice, he didn't reply him but gave him mean glances.. they were never on good sides, he proceeded on his way.

He got to a particular door and 'BOSS' was boldly written on the door, he knocked severally before he got "come in" as s reply, he open the door to the room and was welcomed by smokes he went deeper into the room and met the boss near the window smoking from his tobacco pipe.

"Greetings to you boss" he greeted with a bow while the heavily built mam nodded in acknowledgement

Bethel's pov

We got a our destination after fifteen minutes drive, Becca was the first to jump out of the car and of course, I had to stop the car,, I found a suitable place to park before join Becca, I got to her table and met her drinking alcoholic wine already.

"Come on Becca, we didn't plan to get drug here but to have fun" I said snatching the wine from her and taking a seat beside her

"Cut the crap bethel, I'm not drunk" she replied drunkily

"Oh! Becca, take a look at your self, you're drunk already" I gritted, cause I'm already getting angry at her behavior

"Bethel, please let me be" she replied drunkily

"You know since Lewis broke up with me, I wasn't myself and I'm finding a way to clear him off my mind, here is an opportunity" she added standing up,

"Where are you going now?" I asked her as she stood up.

"Isn't it obvious, I wanna have a dance, who knows maybe a nice guy might be interested in me" she grinned and I scoffed loudly, she winked at me then left afterwards... My mind suddenly drifted back to Charles.

"Oh! That bastard" I cursed...

Want a little introduction?, Well I'm Bethel, the only daughter of my wealthy father, Mr Peyton. People regards I and Becca as sisters cause we we behave like one, And we're quite popular, I knew nothing about my past and considering about Charles, he wasy ex boyfriend, I found him countless times cheating and cheating on me, since I couldn't take it anymore, I broke up with him, tho I love him so much back then, yeah back then cause for now, I hate him like crazy. Right now, I'm single and I'm not searching.

"Greetings to you boss" he greeted with a bow while the heavily built man nodded in acknowledgement... Seconds turned to minutes as the man kept on smoking from his pipe, if not that Rex is used to the smoke, he would have ended up choking.

"You're a minute and forty-five seconds late" he spoke hoarsely

"I'm sorry boss it won't repeat itself anymore" he pleaded almost going on one knee. This man: his boss is the only person he feared cause he knew all his weaknesses.

"Well, I'll let this slide cause this is the first time it's happening" his boss stated, calmly tho

"Thank you boss" he thanked

"Anyway, how was the mission?" His boss asked, even tho he knew that Rex will never disappoint him.

"Fine boss" he answered

"Well cancelled the rest of mission for tonight" his boss stated, going to seat on the only coach in the room.

"Why boss?" He almost questioned but restrained himself. Because they don't question the boss unless you wanna get punished, the man noticed his facial expressions

"You may leave" his boss said coldly

"Okay boss" he replied slowly with a bow.. he left the boss's room afterwards and proceeded to his to his own room, he kept on walking and walking till he reached his door post where meet Jack, the boss's son standing there like a guard, guarding his master's room..

"Hey you, what did boss told you" Jack asked him immediately he (Jack) set his eyes on him (Rex). Rex didn't reply him but only gave Jack glances.. Rex opened his door, stepped in them muttered "jerk" then slammed the door hard across his face.

His Mission

Chapter 3

Rex opened his door, stepped in and muttered "jerk" then slammed the door hard across his face.. he went straight into the bathroom to refreshen himself. He came back minutes later and laid on his bed

Bethel kept on drinking as she though about her life

"Gosh, my life is screwed up" she lamented, she has no friends aside from Becca

She's gonna go mad if she ever lost her... She kept on thinking and thinking until her phone beeps brought her back to reality.. oh it's a call from her dad- Mr Peyton

"Dad" she beamed immediately she picked the call

"Oh! My beautiful girl" her father said at the other end..

"How are you daughter?" Her father asked.

"I'm fine Dad" she answered

"Good to know, well I called to inform you that you're getting married to my friend's son sooner" hee father broke the bombshell.

"Oh Dad" she exclaimed

"You know that I'm not ready for any damn marriage now" she said sadly.

"So? I called to inform you, weather you're interested or not is my problems, you know I don't take 'NO' for answers" he said coldly, emphasising on No, then he ended the call. All most immediately her phone beeps, again, she checked and discovered that it was a message from her dad, it reads;

"Get ready, tommorow morning, I'll send a guard to get you and he'll be the one to guard you in your new home"..

"How dare that old cargo" she gritted angrily almost smashing her phone on the floor... She knew her father well, he doesn't talk no for answers and that alone made her angry the more... She carried her fashion designer bag and carry her car keys, she groaned and sat down she knew herself too well, if she drives, she might ended up causing an accident.. she picked up her phone and dialled her driver's number telling him to come pick her up, since she couldn't drive... Minutes later, "ma'am" she heard her driver's voice, breaking into her thoughts, since she was thinking about the marriage stuff.

"Go find Becca and meet me in the car" she said and threw her car keys at him, which he caught at easy. she got to where her car was parked and made to open it but discovered that it was locked.

" Fuck!" She cursed under her breath and she waited patiently for her driver to show up, almost immediately her driver showed up with Becca in his arms..

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting ma'am" the driver apologised as he opened the door and laid Becca on the back seat properly, she never hestitated to slide in the car, then the driver drove off immediately

****Next day*******

The new about the death of Mr George was talk of the Town, how the assassin killed twelve cops including their leader, then he went ahead to kill Six guards and of course he escaped... "I think that guy possess supernatural powers cause how he dealt with agent Ethan and inspector Jaden left me speechless" the cops kept on murmuring

"Of course, he must possess different supernatural powers cause no normal human can kill as he does"

"And to crown it all, he has different fighting skills, he really possess supernatural powers" they kept on murmuring among themselves

Rex groaned as he saw the news displayed on the TV about the death of his late target, he picked up the remote and made to change the channel, when he feels his phone vibrate in his pant's pocket,,, he brought it out and saw that it was message from his boss...

"Come to my room now!" he read inwardly... He dropped the remote and tucked in his phone into his trousers pocket before proceeding out of the room..... After a long walk, he got to his boss's door post, he knocked on the door and got his usual response "come in".... He got in and met the boss smoking from his tobacco pipe as usual.

"Greetings to you boss" he greeted with a bow, while the boss nodded in acknowledgement.

"Rex?" The boss called his name.

"Yes boss" he replied..

"I wanna send you on a mission" he (boss) stated in his deep hoarse voice..

"It's a simple task" he continued, he took a long drag from his pipe,

"You'll be the one guarding my daughter who's getting married, anyone trying to be an obstacle should be killed, I repeat anyone trying to be an obstacle should be killed, I would have sent Tom but he would be distracted", he concluded...

"What about other missions?" He asked calmly although, no one dare ask the the boss question but here he is doing so....

"Don't think about it" his boss stated surprising him that he never got angry.

"And don't forget to always put on your mask" the boss added...

"As you wish boss" he replied...

"You can leave" the boss dismissed him... He bowed then left the room and met Tom on his way as usual.. Tom tried blocking his way but he was fast enough to walk past him brushing his shoulder in the wall in the process.. he smirked then left to his room.

Bethel scoffed as she saw the message from her dad..

"It has been postponed to the evening, Get ready" she read the message now and again trying to get what it meant, almost immediately memories of what happened last night flooded into her head.. how her father called, last night telling her about he that she was getting married to a randomed guy soon, telling her that he would send a guard to pick her up and he would be her guard through out her stay in the mansion"...

"Oh yuck!" She lamented, she needed someone to cry onto... She picked up her phone and dialled Becca's number..

Becca rolled on the bed as she woke up, she sat up and discoverd that she was in her room..

"How did I got here?" She wondered cause all she remembered was that she was drinking a wine yesterday when bethel showed up telling her not to drink the wine, she shook her head and got town heading to the bathroom.... She came back to see her phone ringing, she made to ignore it but kicked aganist it, she got to where it was and discoverd that it was a call from Bethel, she hestitated a little before picking up the call...

"Hey" she said and placed it on her left ear... instead of hearing her friend's voice She heard the sound of sobs instead... What?, Her friend was crying?..

"Bethel what's wrong?" She asked with keen interest.
