Chapter 1 Don't try to satisfy military parents

Chapter 1: Don't try to satisfy military parents.

**** Campbell Mansion ****

It was totally a sin to call this house a Mansion.

Very much a sin.

The house was bigger than a castle and yet so gorgeous.

It was so beautiful and rosy that one couldn't imagine the cold girl that lived within.

Inside the house a family of four sat by the couch three of them stuck in a conversation.

As the little girl sat by the lonely one seat couch with her eyes closed.

Her big sister Emilia had just come back from a military mission and her parents couldn't wait to get her talking about it.

But to Emily this conversation was just another lame and boring story of holding a gun and shooting through a person's skull.

That's all and as soon as gun's were mentioned she knew her brain wouldn't be able to handle it and might as well go ballistic on her.

She didn't wanna play with guns for now. No she definitely didn't because she knew her hands wouldn't be able to let go after just one touch.

That's just how crazy she was.

Just one touch and she won't stop shooting. It's like the demoness in her was awakened with just one touch.

"Emily!" A loud male voice shouted.

"Father." She called as she opened her eyes with a cold face.

"Who are you putting on that cold face for?! Smile a little and listen to Emilia." Mr Campbell said looking at her with disappointment.

Yet again he was disappointed.

Disappointed by what exactly? Didn't he raise her to be the machine she is now?

Didn't he badly want her to hold a gun with confidence?

Wasn't this the same man that called her a disappointment for not being able to hold a gun?

But now that she could hold it and use it he was disappointed yet again?

Truly one should never try to please military parents.

Cause they'll never be satisfied with what they get. They'll want more and more and more until you finally can't give it.

"Father, I am a bit tired if you could excuse me." She said with that same cold voice.

She didn't wanna hear about b*ll$hit!

She was so crazy about guns that just one word about that cold metal could send her straight into a frenzy.

And she sure as h*ll didn't wanna do that here.

It was very clear her parents didn't understand a thing about her so why should she waste time seating there with f00ls?

"Look at her?! What a disappointment!" She heard her father's shout from downstairs.

But she couldn't care less.

Her feet hurt from running around the field for a whole six months. Her hands ached from shooting guns all through the day.

Her brain didn't hurt anymore.

After all she was already used to losing people. She was so used to the smell of blood that this clean smell offended her nose.

But her heart and brain were still in sync with each other. They still didn't feel anything. Just indifference.

It was almost like this wasn't her own life she was living but rather another person's.

As soon as she got to her room she threw herself on the bed not bothering to take her muddy boots off as she immediately closed her eyes and fell asleep.

**** Later that night ****

Emilia walked into the room and looked at Emily who was fast asleep before shaking her awake.

"What?" Emily asked opening her cold green eyes.

Although the coldness in them was lighter than before her gaze was still 50% icy.

"Wanna talk about the military?" Emilia asked knowing the answer already.

"No, just another six months." Emily said as she threw herself on the bed.

"Emily why did you turn like this? Talk to me." Emilia said as she sadly glanced at Emily.

This time Emily didn't even bother to answer.

Had she not made the image they wanted?

Shouldn't they be happy she hadn't disgraced them?

She sighed took off her boots got up to take a shower.

Emilia stared at the bathroom door for awhile then walked out.

**** Next day ****

Emily woke up early the next morning.

"Morning." She said to the three who were seating on the table as she grabbed some bread and walking out.

"Emily!" Her father's shout was heard she stopped walking and turned around to look at him with that same indifferent stare.

"Seat down and eat with us." Her mother ordered.

"Business outside." Emily said walking out.

"If you walk out now don't bother coming back!" Her father shouted at her.

Emilia glanced at her leaving back and sighed.

Her mother and father went helping the situation at all.

Her sister didn't need so much pressure on her.

She just needed space.

**** Rochester company ****

Emily walked into the company her white dress was knee high.

Exposing her lovely curve along with her perfect waist.

"Hey I am here for an interview." She said.

"The interview for secretary?" The receptionist asked.

"Mm." She said.

The receptionist gave her the directions to follow up to Francisco's office before turning to gossip with her friends.

"Was that the only candidate the CEO found suitable for his secretary position?" Another female employee asked.

"Yes, no wonder she's the only one hear for an interview. Her body is bodying. But that pair of eyes are too much. It's almost as though she can see my soul. " The receptionist said.

Upstairs

Francisco's office

Emily smoothly walked into his office.

"Morning." She said without smiling.

It was as though she was looking at another insignificant toad.

"Mm, you are?" He asked.

"Emily Campbell. "Emily stated.

"Mm. I am Francisco Rochester you can call me Francisco. I am the person you're applying to be the secretary of can I ask a few questions?" Francisco stated finally looking up to see the blinding beauty.

"Sure." She said as she offered herself a seat.

"What would you do if I asked for coffee?" He asked licking his lips.

"Give it ." She said looking at him.

Is he dumb?

What sort of question was that?

Her cold eyes. Instead of turning him off turned him on.

Suddenly Francisco stood up and kissed her forehead.

Emily stared at him blankly.

"Was that part of the interview?" She asked.

Ever since she was born she was never exposed to human affection so this was a foreign action to her.

"Mm." Francisco said looking at her eyes with fascination.

Emily turned her head slightly putting it on his lips with a frown.

The man wanted to laugh so hard but fought very hard to keep his composure as he kissed her forehead again.

Chapter 2 Need to conquer

Chapter 2:Need to conquer

**** Rochester company ****

Francisco's office

"Your hired." Francisco said as he kissed her forehead again.

Emily just nodded and looked at him with expectation.

"You start tomorrow morning at 7am sharp." Francisco said exactly what he knew she needed to hear.

"Tomorrow." She said walking out.

Francisco stared at her back view.

His eyes filled with the need to conquer.

"Just one meeting and my blood is already boiling to conquer you. I guess my instincts about your CV went so wrong. Emily." Francisco smirked.

Meanwhile outside

Emily got out of the company still rubbing her forehead a lot of questions running through her head.

"Weirdo." She said as she continued to walk.

Where was she going ?

She didn't know either.

"Buy clothes. And an apartment. But in the meantime go to your usual spot."Emily said as she searched for the nearest apartment to the office.

**** Campbell Mansion****

Later that night

Emily had really not returned.

Her parents were getting concerned. Emilia on the other hand just pressed her phone absentmindedly knowing very well what had happened to Emily.

"Call her!" Her father suddenly shouted at her the small motion of his hands showed his concern.

"You told her not to return so she didn't." Emilia shrugged as she drank her milkshake.

"Where could she possiblity go to sleep? She has spent her whole life in the military she shouldn't know anyone outside." Mr Campbell said with a frown.

"She's 19 a full grown ass woman of course she has her own money now. The military pays us at least a billion for 2 months served meaning she probably has about 6 billion from last year till this year so she is probably in a hotel or something." Emilia mumbled.

"Let's go get her." Mrs Campbell said with a big frown on her face.

"No, if she insists on being so stubborn. Then let her be! She does after all feel like a adult." The old man said indignantly stomping his way upstairs.

The wife followed suit.

"*Sigh* maybe moving out can help make Emily a tini tiny bit more normal." Emilia shrugged.

**** A hotel VIP room ****

Emily slung herself on the bed.

She had taken off the white dress and replaced it with a black baggie shirt which she used to sleep in.

This VIP Room was actually a place she had booked since she turned eighteen and had been where she stayed whenever she didn't wanna go back home.

So she had more than enough clothes to get into at any time.

She didn't like staying here for too long as it would bring bad memories which she didn't wanna remember nor think about.

**** Rochester company ****

**** Next day ****

It was exactly 6:50 when Emily passed by the receptionist her posture straight her long slender legs elegantly stepping one foot in front of the other.

Her white long pants/ jeans covered her jade coloured skinny legs.

A black baggie shirt hung on her as it draped down to her mid-thighs.

Black Snickers were on her legs.

A bracelet engraved "AEJ" hung on her hands.

And a necklace that was hidden by her baggie black shirt engraved "Emily" at the front and "love you" at the back hung on her neck.

She strutted into the company with the calm and confidence of a soldier her eyes showing no emotion as though everything happening around her was none if her concern.

🗣️ Although she's pretty that doesn't give her the right to act so Hugh and above.

🗣️Aaarg pretty there are girls far much better looking than her.

🗣️Yeah, her looks are average.

The few female staff on the first floor said loud enough for Emily to hear.

If only these f00ls knew the words Emily would have said to them if she didn't find it a waste of her time to deal with such low level dogs.

They'd not be insulting her. They'd wanna strangle her instead.

"If a dog bites you won't bite back. So why should I bight these dogs ?" Where the words Emily would say if she had the time.

****Top floor****

Francisco's office

"Good morning." Emily said forcing a stiff smile on her face which hurt like h€ll for someone who isn't a usual smiley face.

"Morning." Francisco smiled as he looked at the stiff smile on her face.

Truly not being a usual smiley face and trying a smile for the first time was was stiff and awkward.

"Let's go. Got a meeting." Francisco said.

Emily had studied the job if a secretary very well and immediately draped his suit jacket on his shoulders as she carried his brief case and got an extra pen and notebook in her other hand.

Francisco smiled at her level of efficiency.

He walked out of the office a stony expression immediately covered his smiley face.

"Your face is flipped faster than I can flip a piece of paper." Emily said with a serious expression as she shook her head.

Francisco smirked as he heard her low mumble.

**** First floor ****

As soon as the elevator dinged Emily came out first and the employees couldn't help but continue slandering her not noticing the slender figure walking out behind her.

🗣️Did she get fired on her first day? Pathetic.

🗣️I knew Boss was only interested in her vixen face.

🗣️Such a vain person shouldn't be in front of our boss.

🗣️Feme fatale!

Francisco who was behind Emily suddenly paused causing Emily to wait by the elevator for several minutes.

Then he finally walked out and Emily followed right behind him.

"What did you just say?" Francisco asked as he looked at the employees at the first floor.

Emily stood silently behind him.

The employees were as silent as a phone put on silent mode.

"If I hear you all said anything bad about Emily. From anyone. Even her. I'll fire the entire first floor and make sure you can't find any jobs! Understood?!" Francisco said finally flying into a rage.

Even the usually calm and collected Emily was a little scared which you could only see by staring deep into those green lifeless eyes.

Although she had seen many people in rage and and angry this sort of anger and the aura coming from him was much more scary than any military commander.

It was a lot scarier. It at least scared the crap outta her.

Chapter 3 His burning rage

Chapter 3: His burning rage

**** Rochester company ****

**** First floor ****

🗣️Yes, Boss. We apologize to Ms Campbell.

The employees immediately said in fear.

"And you?! Why didn't you say anything?!" Francisco snapped at the all too quite Emily who looked as though the entire situation had nothing to do with her.

"I...I..." She couldn't make up a full sentence looking at his ice cold blue eyes.

"Speak!" He says softening his voice slightly.

"I didn't find it necessary to bark with dogs." Emily said.

"What?" Francisco was stunned.

"If a dog barked at you? Will you bark back?" She asked.

"No." He said.

"Then why should I?" Emily asked in a soft tone looking at his increasingly icy eyes.

The employees were stunned speechless.

So earlier it was not that she couldn't respond it was that?!

She found it beneath her to argue with them!

Francisco pursed his lips tight as he grabbed her by the hand and stomped towards the garage.

**** Inside the car ****

Emily sat quietly at her corner away from the angry man besides her.

She was bothered by his rage so she Googled.

"How to make someone happy?"

Several suggestions such as hugging the person kissing them and apologizing.

Emily threw herself in his arms for a hug then gave him a peck on the lips before she said.

"I am sorry." Emily said staring at his eyes trying to find out if it worked.

Francisco was stunned speechless.

When he finally regained his senses he held her tiny fragile waist in his hands and kissed her forehead with a small frown.

"Is this how you apologize to everyone?" He asked.

Emily frowned as she showed him her phone and the search results with blank marks on her face.

Francisco chuckled and kisses her forehead again.

He took his hands inside her black sweater and pinched the jade white procelain doll skin under the baggie shirt.

"Don't let anyone do this to you except me okay?" Francisco said.

Emily nodded obediently trying to wiggle her waist out of his hands.

The pinching was turning her thin waist blood red in color.

"Hurt." She said feeling as though she had spoken too much already.

"Stay still. I won't hurt you anymore I promise." He said raising her baggie shirt up to look at her extremely thin waist it was so delicate that one pinch caused his baby pain.

"You need to eat. Your so thin " Francisco frowned as he rubbed his hands on her stomach.

Emily frowned as she looked at him.

"Don't worry I'll feed you well. Are you a picky eater?" Francisco asked.

Emily shook her head with a low grunt.

"Then it's easier to raise you." Francisco said like a mother as he looked at her thin stomach.

"Fully grown woman." Emily says her frown growing.

Francisco chuckled looking at her childish antics.

"Yes, you are. But you'll go back to being a kid if you don't eat." Francisco said as he pinched her nose.

The entire road towards the meeting place.

Emily sat on Francisco's lap. She had even fallen asleep in his arms during the hour ride.

"Little monster." He smiled kissing a red lips as he cradled her in his arms like a baby.

**** An hour later ****

**** A restaurant ****

Emily had woken up as soon as the car came to a stop.

Francisco walked in front while she lazily followed behind him.

Francisco had just learned something. His baby wasn't really very patient after waking up.

Although she still walked calm and composed.

One could see the slight impatience in her eyes.

Francisco suddenly pulled her arm as he kissed her forehead.

Emily looked at him in confusion.

He then grabbed her chin and kissed her there.

The impatience on her face completely disappeared now replaced by confusion.

Did he just apologize? She thought referring it to the earlier apology kiss.

"Why apologize?" She asked.

Francisco glanced at her in total confusion then when remembered the kiss in the car he bent down and kissed her on the lips before raising her head and saying.

"Because your grumpy." He smiled and turned walking in front of her.

**** Private room ****

Emily and Francisco sat opposite a middle aged man as they ate.

Emily had only ordered a sandwich. But Francisco added a chicken dish, milk and a salad.

The two man are a plate full of meat in it.

"Mr Rochester I was wondering of what you think of the hotel's plan." The man said.

Francisco glanced at Emily who efficiently took out a file and flipped it open.

"Read." Francisco said. " And say what you think was made wrong."

Francisco was sort of teaching Emily business.

But this was a very important file.

Emily hesitated a bit before reading the file in her head then writing down the flaws.

The middle aged man's lips twitched as she wrote three full pages quickly and handed it to Francisco.

Wasn't it enough that an old man like her worked for a kid like Francisco?

Now another kid came along and was supposed to help him see the flaws on the project?

Francisco's eyes skimmed the three pages quickly and when he looked at the little monster besides him it was with terror.

The girl had taken out both eternal and external problems of the plan.

She had practically taken out the problems then wrote the solution.

Solutions even he couldn't think of.

"You missed one." He said with a light beam.

"?" Emily looked at him in confusion.

"The construction site is not a very clean. And has a lack of water." Francisco said.

He smirked because this only proved that his little girl knew nothing of the outside world.

Her skin was as soft as tofu. He had felt it in the car.

Her big eyes really didn't feel anything human.

No wonder she lets him kiss her and do all of that.

It was because didn't understand the intimacy behind the actions.

She didn't understand human nature.

Just how much had her parents protected her since young?

She looked so delicate as though just one touch could break her.

"Cute " he mumbled to only his hearing.
