His hidden mate.

Author: : Quinn Ari
Genre: Adventure
"I love you," Charlotte said, her voice soft and full of emotion. I stood there, stunned by her declaration. I knew that I couldn't be with her, not as a mate, even though my heart wanted nothing more. My father's words echoed in my head: "You can't be mated to a human."

Chapter 1 The strange Lady.

Jayden's POV.

As I ran down the woods, something caught my eye. In front of me stood a woman, about 5'2", with emerald eyes and long, curly black hair. She was dusting off her clothes, looking flustered and confused. I slowed down, trying to catch my breath, my curiosity piqued. I have never seen this woman before, and I couldn't help but wonder who she was and what she was doing here.

I approached her cautiously, not wanting to startle her. I took a step towards the woman, my curiosity overwhelming my caution. But before I could reach her, I heard a voice calling my name from a distance.

"Jayden," the voice kept screaming.

I turned and saw Madeline, my girlfriend, standing a few blocks away. She was waving her arms frantically, and I could see that she was stuck, unable to move. I ran towards her, concern and confusion clouding my thoughts

"What happened?" I asked, my mind racing.

"You were running too fast, and I was trying to keep up. I tripped, and my leg got stuck," she said, her voice shaking. I could tell she was scared, and I felt a surge of protectiveness.

"Hold on tight," I said, and she wrapped her arms around my waist. I braced myself and pulled with all my strength, trying to free her leg from the hole. I could feel her trembling against me, and I whispered, "It's going to be okay.

Madeline and I have been in a relationship for years. She was my girlfriend, my best friend, the person I loved more than anyone else in the world. But a few minutes ago, when I saw that strange woman, something inside me shifted. I felt a spark of interest, something I had never felt before. I tried to push it away, but it wouldn't go. I didn't understand what was happening to me. Had I always felt this way and just never noticed? Or was this something new and unknown? Madeline and I were not mated, but we had always hoped that we would be.

During the full moon, it was said that our true mates would be revealed to us. We had dreamed of this moment, of finally knowing who we were meant to be with. With one last, painful cry, Madeline's leg came free. She stood up, shaking and breathless, and I smiled at her, unable to help myself.

"You did it!" she exclaimed, a relieved grin on her face.

"I'm not as weak as you think," I said, trying to sound confident.

She rolled her eyes, a look of exasperation on her face. "I'm not a weakling," she said, her voice strong and defiant.

"Says, someone who was crying a few minutes ago," I said to her with a sly smile.

She playfully hit my chest, her laughter filling the air. I couldn't help but laugh along with her, a sense of joy filling me. Moments like this made me realize how lucky I was to have a confidant, best friend and a girlfriend in one person.

"I love you," I said to her which made her blush and my heart fluttered at that moment. "Let's go," I said, taking a step forward. But Madeline stopped me, a puzzled look on her face.

"Where are you going?" she asked.

I hesitated, realizing that I had been so caught up in my thoughts that I hadn't even noticed which direction I was walking. "Home," I said, feeling a bit sheepish.

"But you are going the wrong way," she said, amusement in her voice.

I laughed, embarrassed but grateful for her observation. Suddenly, it clicked. I was standing at the edge of the pack's territory, a place I rarely ventured to. And then I realized why I had never seen that strange woman before. She must have been from outside the pack, someone who wasn't allowed to cross our boundary.

But the question remained: where had she gone? I looked around, but there was no sign of her. It was as if she had simply vanished into thin air.

"We must have ran too fast," I said, still feeling a bit disoriented. "I never knew we had come this far."

Madeline raised an eyebrow at me. "No," she said, a teasing tone in her voice. "You are the only one who was running too fast. I couldn't keep up."

I couldn't help but laugh, realizing that she was right. I had been so lost in my thoughts that I had let my legs carry me further than I had intended.

"I agree," I said, surrendering to her point.

"Let's do something fun," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"What is it?" I asked, intrigued by her suggestion. She grinned, looking mischievous.

"You will have to wait and see," she said, refusing to give me any hints.

I groaned, but I couldn't help but smile. I knew that whatever she had planned would be worth the wait. Madeline shifted into her wolf form, and I knew exactly what she had in mind. We both loved racing back to the pack in our wolf forms, seeing who could get there first. It was always a close competition, and it was always exhilarating. I shifted as well, my fur rippling down my body. I looked at Madeline, her tail wagging in anticipation.

"Ready?" I asked, my voice rumbling in my chest.

"Of course," she replied, her eyes shining with determination.

We took off like a shot, racing through the woods, our paws pounding the ground. I could feel the wind rushing past me, my heart pounding in my chest. I looked ahead and saw Madeline pulling ahead of me. I could have easily caught up to her, but I decided to let her win this time. I slowed down just enough to let her cross the finish line first. She looked back at me, her tongue lolling out of her mouth, panting with excitement.

"I won!" she barked, her tail wagging furiously.

I laughed and gave her a playful nip on the ear. We shifted back into our human forms and collapsed onto the grass, laughing and exhausted. But despite the fun we were having, I couldn't stop thinking about the mysterious woman I had seen earlier.

Who was she? Where did she come from? And why had she been at the edge of our territory? I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.

Chapter 2 Reassurance.

Jayden's POV.

"Come on," Madeline said, pulling me to my feet. "Let's go inside. It's getting cold out here."

I let her lead me inside the house, I wrapped my arms around her waist as we walked. The sun was setting, casting a soft orange glow over the forest.

The night air was crisp and clear, and we could hear the crickets chirping in the distance. I inhaled deeply, relishing the scents of the forest, my senses heightened in my wolf form.

We walked over to the dining table, where our friends were gathered, chatting and laughing. They greeted us with smiles and hugs, and we sat down at the table, Madeline taking the seat next to me. I took a deep breath, savoring the sense of camaraderie and belonging.

"So, what's going on?" I asked, breaking the banter.

"We were just discussing the upcoming full moon," Owen said, his smile infectious.

"You are a lucky man, Jayden," Zelda added. "The Moon Goddess would have to be wicked not to mate you with Madeline."

"I wonder what my mate will look like," Owen said, his voice wistful.

"Don't worry," I reassured him. "You will like her, I'm sure."

He laughed, his eyes sparkling. "We can only hope," he said, his voice full of optimism. But I could tell that he was nervous, just like I was.

They were all facing an uncertain future, but we had each other, and that was all that mattered. As the conversation continued, I noticed that Madeline was quiet. She didn't say a word, and her expression was unreadable.

I wondered what was on her mind, but I knew it wasn't the time or place to ask. I resolved to speak to her later, when we were alone. Something was definitely bothering her, and I wanted to make sure she was okay.

Before we knew it, we had finished our meal. I stood up and offered my hand to Madeline, and she took it, her fingers intertwined with mine. We walked back to my chambers in silence, the air between us thick with unspoken thoughts.

As we reached the door, I turned to face her, my eyes searching hers. "Is everything okay?" I asked, concerned in my voice.

She hesitated, her eyes darting away from mine. "Nothing," she said, a faint smile playing on her lips.

We stepped inside the room, closing the door behind us. I turned to Madeline again, drawing her close. She looked up at me, her eyes wide.

"What's wrong?" I asked, my eyebrows arching.

She hesitated for a moment, her lips pursed. "I am worried," she said, her voice low and serious.

I felt a shiver of anticipation run down my spine. "What's wrong? Talk to me," I said, my heart pounding in my chest.

"What if we are not mates?" she asked, her voice trembling.

I looked at her, and saw the fear in her eyes. I wanted to reassure her, to ease her worries. I took her hands in mine, gently caressing her cheeks.

"We would be mates, my dear. Don't be skeptical," I said softly, hoping my words would reach her.

She gazed up at me, her eyes searching mine. "Are you sure?" she asked, a hopeful glint in her eyes.

I knew I shouldn't be thinking that way, but I couldn't help it. I was scared, too, scared that the Moon Goddess might not see us as mates. But I would rather not burden Madeline with my fears.

She needed me to be strong for her. I closed my eyes, sending a silent prayer to the Moon Goddess. Please - let us be mates, I thought, a wave of hope and desperation rising within me.

I took her hand in mine. "Come with me," I said, leading her to the full-length mirror that hung on the wall. She looked at me with skepticism, but I smiled reassuringly. I wrapped my arms around her waist, my head lowering to rest at her neck.

"Look at yourself," I whispered in her ear. She glanced at her reflection, taking in her image.

"You are beautiful, you have a strong wolf and you make the right decisions. The moon goddess doesn't have a reason not to mate us," I said, my voice full of emotion.

"You really think so?" she asked, sounding unconvinced.

"I know so," I replied, my heart swelling with love for her.

She turned to face me, her eyes glistening with a mixture of hope and uncertainty. She lifted her legs, and crushed her lips on mine.

I held her tight, my body pressed against hers. I leaned in, and our lips met in a passionate kiss. It was soft and sweet at first, but it quickly grew more intense, our bodies moving in perfect harmony. I felt her heart beating fast against my chest, and I knew she felt the same way I did.

The kiss was filled with love and longing, a promise of something more. Our lips moved together, gently at first, then with more urgency. Our bodies were pressed close, hearts beating as one.

I felt a surge of emotion, a deep sense of connection, like we were meant to be together. Our lips parted for a moment, our eyes meeting, both of us breathless. Then, we kissed again, our bodies melting together, lost at the moment.

I lifted her up, her legs wrapping around my waist as I carried her over to the bed. She was light as a feather in my arms, and I felt a rush of strength and power. As we reached the bed, I laid her down gently, not breaking our gaze.

She looked up at me, her eyes full of trust and desire. I leaned in to kiss her again, feeling her body relax beneath me. Our breathing was in sync, and I felt myself falling deeper and deeper under her spell.

I knelt down as I spread out her legs until I could see the full view of her vagina. I began to touch it carefully, which caused her to moan, and I smiled at the way she reacted to my touch.

My eyes lit with passion as I stood up and removed her gown, my eyes gazing at her amazing body.

"You are fucking beautiful, I wish the full moon was now so that the moon goddess would mate us and I can fully own you," I whispered on her neck and she shivered.

I knelt down again as I plunged a finger into her, I watched as her back arched, and she leaned deeper into my touch. She moaned as her clit automatically tightened around me as I plunged my second fingers inside her.

Faster and more assertive, as my fingers pounded in and out of her curving as I found her g-spot, showing her no mercy.

"Ahhh.... Jayden," she moaned out loud as she gripped my hair tightly, pulling me closer. A wave of pain shot through my scalp, but I didn't care. All I wanted was to be closer to her, to feel her warmth and her soft skin against mine.

"I'm about to cum," she said, her voice quivering.

I quickly removed my fingers from her vagina, I held her arms above her head with a fist as I ravished her neck with kisses, sucking and driving her to the edge. Her moans filled the room.

"Please," she begged.

"What are you pleading for?" I asked, feigning ignorance.

"Touch me," she moaned out loud.

I knew exactly what she wanted so I knelt down, and she quickly spread her legs wide open for me and my tongue began to devour her wet pussy.

My groans of agony and pleasure mixed with her moans and screams of utter euphoria and bliss.

With a loud moan, Madeline cum undone and I swallowed her cums. I laid beside her as we tried to balance our breaths.

Madeline and I had decided not to have a taste of my cock inside her pussy until we had been mated on the night of the full moon.

I stared at the woman beside me and prayed that the moon goddess would mate us.

Chapter 3 The visitor.

Jayden's POV.

The early morning sun crept through the window, the rays falling across my face. I groaned, not wanting to leave the cocoon of warmth I had found with Madeline.

"Wake up, sleepy head," she said, her voice soft and full of affection.

I opened my eyes, and she was there, her face inches from mine. Her eyes sparkled, and a smile played on her lips. I couldn't help but smile back, feeling more alive than I ever had before.

"I want to stay here with you, in my arms," I said, my voice low and husky.

She laughed softly, her hand stroking my hair, sending shivers down my spine. "You can't stay here forever," she said, her eyes twinkling.

I raised an eyebrow, a mischievous grin playing on my lips. "Who said I can't?" I asked, pulling her closer.

She leaned in, our noses almost touching. "Time," she whispered, and I knew she was right.

But at that moment, I wanted to pretend that time didn't exist. I was about to respond when a knock sounded at the door.

"Looks like duty calls," she said, her smile fading slightly. I nodded, my smile slipping away.

"Come in," I called, and the door opened.

A guard entered the room, his head bowed, his eyes fixed on the ground. "The Alpha seeks your presence," he said, his voice respectful and deferential.

Fuck, I had completely forgotten that Alpha Jasper was due to visit our pack. My father had mentioned it the day before, but it had slipped my mind.

I sighed, the spell of the morning already broken. "I will come shortly," I said, and the guard bowed once more before turning and leaving.

I placed one last kiss on Madeline's cheek, then stood up to get dressed. I put on my best clothes, trying to look my best. I could feel my heart pounding as I prepared to meet him.

I glanced at Madeline, who was watching me with a mix of affection and apprehension. She smiled at me, trying to reassure me that everything would be okay.

I took one last look at Madeline, then left the room, making my way to the main hall. As I approached, I saw my father standing up, his face full of pride. He stepped forward, beaming at me.

"Here comes my son," he announced, his voice loud and clear. Alpha Jasper and his son turned to look at me, their faces lighting up.

I sat down next to my father, and my father began the introductions.

"Allow me to introduce Alpha Jasper, leader of the Slivertail pack," he said, gesturing to the man beside him.

I shook hands with him, feeling a jolt of energy as our palms met. His grip was firm, his eyes intense. I couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by him. "And this is his son, Roman," my father continued, pointing to the younger man.

Roman smiled at me, his eyes warm and friendly. I felt myself relax a little, the tension in the room dissipating.

I learned that Alpha Jasper and my father were old friends, but this was the first time I had seen them together. They seemed to share a bond that went beyond mere friendship.

My father cleared his throat as he spoke," So, what do I owe this visit?" he asked, his voice curious but polite.

" My pack needs your help and......" he said, but before Alpha Jasper could continue, my father cut him off.

"Pardon me, Jasper," he said, raising a hand to silence him. "I know we are both eager to discuss the pending issues, but first, let's catch up.

How have you been?" he asked, a warm smile on his face.

As Alpha Jasper and my father reminisced about the past, I turned to Roman.

"Do you mind if I show you around?" I asked, hoping he wouldn't find the offer boring.

"I'd love that," he said, his smile growing wider. I rose from my chair, feeling a burst of energy.

We both stood up, and I led the way out of the room. As we walked through the hallway, I heard the muffled voices of Alpha Jasper and my father as they continued their conversation. I tried not to listen in, but I couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about. I pushed the thought aside, focusing on the task at hand.

Suddenly, Roman stopped walking, his gaze fixed on something in the distance. I turned to look, my heart racing with anticipation. What had he seen? What was it that had caught his attention? I squinted, trying to see what he was looking at.
