His Three Month's Contract Girlfriend

A black limousine pulled up in front of the grand City Hall. All the Paparazzi and the reporters present at that moment turned their cameras to the Car.

No one has to tell them who that was because only one person could make that entrance in any of the occasions he decided to grace.

A Guy in tattoos all around his hand, wearing a black suit and a black glasses stepped down from the front seat. He scanned everywhere with his hands fisted before opening the back door.

After the door was opened, Their long awaited Guest Stepped out from the car. But then, they were more confused when he extended his hand inside the car.

What could he be doing? Was what was running in their minds. Not until a Lady stepped down from the car. The camera's as if waiting for that moment, went in to action. Everyone was perplexed as soon as He wrapped his hands around the lady's waist.

He looked at the lady, Smiled at her and whispered something in to her ear before they started moving their steps. And of course, The cameras didn't miss that one.

" President Raymond Walter!" He paused and turned to the direction where his name was being called. " President Walter, Please tell us. Is This beautiful lady your girlfriend?" He looked at the lady Beside him and smiled before turning to the paparazzi.

" She's my girlfriend" With that said, He continued moving with the lady walking beside him and the Bodyguards walking side by side with them and behind them. Protecting them from anything that would harm them.

That was Raymond Walter, The first heir and the president of Walter's Conglomerate. Raymond's presence at the occasion with a girl was such a sight for everyone present at that moment and those that would see it on the news and the internet.

Unlike his brother who was always seen with different girls whom he claimed were his friends, Raymond was never seen with a girl ever Before. But that day, everyone was shocked when he said the lady was his girlfriend.

" Congratulations, Mr. Raymond" He got a lot of congratulations that day from different people present at the Hall. Raymond was in full spirit that day so, he shook hands and smiled with almost all the people there.

The Lady he was with wasn't comfortable in the midst of those people, you could see that just by looking at her. But Raymond, he wouldn't let her out of his side.

" Uhm Raymond, I want to use the restroom" She whispered in to his ear when they were away from the crowd. Raymond glanced at one of the guards and as if he understood him, he led the lady out of the hall.

" Could you wait right here? I'll be right back" She hurried inside the restroom and closed the door. " Oh my God!" She leaned her back on the door and took in a deep breath.

" This isn't what he told me" She made her way and stood in front of the mirror with her hand on her chest. Suddenly, her phone went off and she hurriedly took it out from her black diamond glittering bag.

" Valerie!" Someone screamed her name from the other end. She had to remove the phone from her ear before placing it back. " Would you just keep it down? You don't want me to turn dead, do you?" She scoffed.

" Come on girl, what was that you did just some minutes ago? You didn't tell me you have been seeing Raymond, The Raymond Walter!" She screamed.

" Come on Kia, Stop shouting in to my ear, Your voice is so Annoying you know that" She turned the faucet and used her right hand to cup some water in her hand.

" Valerie, tell me what I'm seeing in news right now isn't true" Valerie sighed, She turned of the faucet and stood upright.

" It's true, girl. But don't misunderstand. I'm only doing this to get back at my ex boyfriend and step sister for breaking my heart" She said.

" I don't get it. Can you elaborate on it, please?" Valerie smiled before pulling out a little powder kit from the bag. " Babe I..." She was interrupted by the beep from her phone. And when she checked who was calling, it was Raymond. " Kia, we'll talk when I return home. Bye" She hung up and Quickly powdered her face.

" What were you doing inside?" Came Raymond's voice as soon as Valerie stepped out from the restroom. She was so startled because he was leaning on the wall beside her that she didn't see him.

He stood upright with his hands inside his pocket, looking at her from his dark glasses. Valerie exhaled slowly and lowered her eyes. Even though he was on glasses, she couldn't stand his gaze.

" What was the agreement? You would always stay by myself" He stepped closer to her and she liked up her head. " Yes, Mr. Raymond. I'm sorry about that but I had to use the restroom" Valerie Smiled.

" Don't do this again, people will think we are faking it" He whispered in to her ear when he saw a group of girls coming to the restroom. Valerie smiled at him, she held his arm and they walked away from there.

What was he thinking? Of course they were faking it. Valerie thought but on her face, she was smiling like a teenager who has fallen in love.

That party finally came to an end after an eternity of music, dancing and drinking. Valerie was so hungry but she dared not say that to Raymond or the hell will let loose.

But immediately Raymond entered the car, Valerie tossed her bag on the seats facing them and sighed deeply.

" Raymond, You know this is torture, right?" She dropped her hands on her Waist. But he ignored her and she went on.

" I haven't eat anything for hours now and you don't seem like you care. Is this also written in the contract?" He still didn't say anything to her.

" Raymond, I don't think I can do this again. This isn't what I expected" She gasped. He Quickly turned to her direction after she said that. Raymond wasn't ready to lose her at that moment. That was their first day out and the contract was meant to last for three months.

" Come on Valerie, it's just three months" No one would think The whole Raymond Walter could talk that way. He was so calm when he spoke to her in the car than he spoke to people outside.

" Just three months? You want me to Keep enduring this for three months? Wow!" She Nodded her head. " I haven't touch the Money you gave me, I can refund it to you so that you'll go find a girl who can do this. I am so tired" Raymond shook his head distressfully.

" My house is that direction" She pointed to the left. Raymond glanced at one of the guards and he informed the chauffeur driving. Few minutes later, Valerie was dropped off in front of her house.

" I'll refund your Money next thing tomorrow morning" She slammed the door and scurried inside the house. Raymond bit his lower lip, Punched the seat with his fists and rested his head on the headrest.

If not for his Mum who has been in his Neck to get married, he wouldn't have been insulted that way. He was Raymond, No one dares speak to him in am harsh tone or look in to his eyes angrily. But Valerie just did that and went free.

" At least, find a girlfriend" That was his Mum's words few weeks ago but he wasn't ready for all that. But when she told him few days ago to bring home the girl he wants to marry or she marry one of his cousins to him, Raymond went in search of a girl who would act like his girlfriend for just three months so as to make his Mum stop talking about marriage to him.

He wanted a girl who would not fall in love with him and luckily, he found Valerie who has a heart of stone. Whatever the problem might be, Raymond has a feeling her heart was broken by someone.

When Raymond arrived home, His Mum was waiting for him in the living room. Raymond put on a Smile when he saw her smiling at him. She seems to be so happy that her son was finally in Love.

" Tell me, who are her parents?" Raymond's heart skipped a beat when she mentioned that. He didn't even think about that before making her sign the contract. He has forgotten his Mum only needed someone from a reputable background.

And worse, he doesn't know where that stone heart came from or who her parents were. How was he going to tell his Mum what he doesn't know? But Raymond only Knows her surname and it sound familiar.

" Her Name's Valerie Grey" He said. " Grey? You mean she's Mr. Grey's Daughter?" her face brightened up. " Yes, Mum" Raymond smiled. " Oh my God! And here I was underestimating you. I didn't know you were already in love with the Heiress of the Grey's. Wow!" She exclaimed.

The Heiress of the Grey's? He think his Mum was mistaken. How could the only Heiress agreed with the contract when he proposed that? And worse, how could the Heiress stayed in a place such as that? Maybe she ran away from home or something happened.

But Raymond didn't want to spoil his Mum's mood at that moment. How would he tell her that wasn't who she thought? That girl was going to cancel their contract the next day but he needed her to act like she was from the Grey's.

" I didn't know you could surprise Your Mum this way. I thought you aren't going to get a wife soon and I was already planning on calling your cousin to come over to the house before I see the news." Raymond sighed of relief.

" You wanted me to come home and see the girl you want me to marry, right?" Raymond swept the hair on her face to one side. " Of course" She laughed.

" Raymond, Tell me. When would you bring her to me? I can't wait to see her. Let's start the wedding preparations. I want everything to be fast" His Mum said and he Forced a smile.

" Mummy, I'll bring her very soon and for the wedding, let's take it slowly. You know as the Heiress, we can't force her" He explained to her.

" True, But we have to talk about it to her. My God, Raymond, don't you know what this means?" He has no idea.

" This means The Walter's and the Grey's are going to become one. Our Company would grow in no time" She goes his hand. " Thank you so much Raymond, that's why I always says you are my favorite child. You always makes me happy" She hugged him tightly before releasing him.

" Raymond, Bring that girl over here in few days time. I want to see her very soon" Raymond nodded his head. " Uhm Mummy, I'm so tired from the partying. See you tomorrow" He pecked her on the cheek and made his way upstairs to his room.

" This won't turn out well" Raymond shook his head with his eyes wide Opened. His Mum has already mistaken about the girl's background. He wasn't even going to show the girl to his Mum. His plan was to let her know that he has a girlfriend without introducing the girl to her so that she would stop pestering him about getting a wife.

" Valerie, don't you dare cancel this contract now" He clenched his fist and went inside the bathroom.

Immediately Valerie unlocked the door with a key and entered the mini living room, she threw the bag on the couch and collapsed.

" This is so tiring. I can't do this again." She sighed deeply. " Raymond is getting back his Money tomorrow morning" She concluded. But as she stood up from the couch to go to the room, her phone rang. " Who could it be? Hope it's not Raymond"

She Picked up the bag , brought out her phone and her jaw dropped when she saw who the caller was. It has been months already since she last saw him and spoke to him. The last time she left him was not a good moment of her life.

That was her Ex boyfriend calling her. The Boyfriend whom she loved with all of her heart and planned to spend the rest of her life with. But he ended up cheating on her with her step sister.

As Valerie stared at the phone which was ringing, she wondered why he was calling her at that moment. Maybe he saw the news too and he was jealous to see her together with Raymond Walter who was well known in the county and beyond.

Valerie hissed, She wanted to drop the phone but something in her wanted to hear what her ex boyfriend was going to say to her. She clicked on accept and then places the phone on her ear.

" What do you want?" She asked him in an angry tone. She thought he called to plead with her to accept him back in to her life but she was wrong.

" Well played, Valerie. And here I was, thinking you decided to take your own life after I broke up with you but no, You went ahead to date a public icon" Valerie scoffed.

" Really? I didn't know that's what you've been praying for me. Tell me, where's your Girlfriend?" She sat down on the Couch because there was no way she was going to let him insult her and go scot free. She wasn't the Valerie they bullied months ago, she was now a new leaf.

" Lorna is fine and doing great. I didn't know you will fall in love again Valerie. But do you know what you are trying to get yourself in to?" Valerie chuckled. " Is that jealousy speaking? Because I can sense jealousy in your voice" She laughed Softly.

" Gerald, if this is a call to beg me to accept you in to my life again, You are wasting your time. Because I'm not..." He interrupted her. " I didn't call to do that. That will never happen. You aren't even my taste in a girl, I have no idea why I fell in love with you from the first time"

Valerie was pained by his words. He wasn't the first to say that to him but it has been long someone sad that to him ever since he decided to leave her parents house. No one has ever bully her gain for months now since she left the house.

" Watch the things you say to me!" She snapped at him. " Valerie, I have no time for this. Hear me out and listen to what I want to tell you" Valerie listened attentively. " You see that guy you were on the news with today? Stay away from him if you still value your life" He threatened.

" And what would you do if I don't stay away from him? Are you going to bring an end to my life? Quit dreaming, young man. You have no right to choose for me who I should love" She snapped at him again.

" If you listen to what I am about to say, it would be Good for you. Because there's no way I'll be seeing you every day. You already know how I hate you"

Valerie was confused by his statement. What does he mean by see her everyday? They don't even live in the same place , he lives back at her hometown while she lives in the City.

" That dude you hang out with today, That's my brother. The earlier you stay away from him, the better. Because I don't want to see you in our house even after I return" Valerie was speechless, what a small world. She didn't even think about it.

Gerald doesn't live with his parents back at her hometown, he lives alone in an Estate. But he was a rich spoil best wo lavishes his Money on any girl. And his Surname too was Walter. Gerald Walter, she should have known that the first time she saw Raymond because they almost look alike but she didn't.

Valerie grinned , What a wonderful moment. And there she was, thinking of moving on with her life not knowing a day would come that she would take her revenge on her ex boyfriend and her step sister. But it was so fast and she felt so happy.

" Come on Gerald, do you think I don't know about that?" She laughed. " I already know Raymond is your Brother that's why I accepted his Proposal. Well, You don't have the right to tell me to stay away from the love of my life. Okay? And again, do not call my line again"

Valerie burst in to laughter as soon as she hung up on him. She was so excited that Raymond was Gerald's Older brother. Her mind was now filled with a feeling of revenge on Gerald and Lorna. There was no way those tow would be happy right now. She also know, her Dad and Step Mum won't be happy because they too, might have seen the news.

" I am not canceling the contract again" Valerie laughed out loud. " What a beautiful day, Valerie. Who knows my star would shine so soon" She picked up her new expensive bag from the couch and made her way inside her tiny bedroom.
