Chapter 1 Don't Sign

Chapter 1

She sat on the hospital bench, her eyes darting up and down the white paint.

Her eyes shivered, as she dropped the file she held on the bench.

She was right back to the very place she hated the most.

The smell of Antiseptic and Antibiotics wafted in the air.

She sniffed and rubbed her nose. Oh! How she hated it's smell.

It hadn't been a week ever since she left with her mother and she was back once again, at the same department in the same ward.

She sighed, her eyes going to the file that was on the bench.

She closed her eyes.

Mikhail Mazza was not someone to be talked about in the public.

His name was called out In whispers and behind the walls of the room.

She was not stupid to think twice when he had dropped the condition for what she needed.

She needed money, money for her mother's health.

They surgery her mother had undergone the week before was way too expensive and she had sold a lot of things to pay off the debt.

If she were to continue that way, they'll have nothing left. Only the worn out curtains and dirty floor would be left in their small apartment.

Earlier that week, she had gone to Mikhail Mazza for help.

Although he was known as the Country's most handsome bachelor and conglomerate.

He was also known as the Mafia Kingpin.

She couldn't let her mother die.

The woman had suffered a lot and if she could at least do what he wanted.. she'd make that change.

But she was not ready to give her virginity to a man-whore.

Mikhail Mazza was feared in the whole city.

He was the Country's most dangerous and whoring bachelor.

He was well known for his brutality and people feared him all over.

Men feared his size and women flocked around him.

Mikhail Mazza. His name alone brought fear.

She closed her eyes, thinking about how her life had turned out for the past few years.

There was no way she would get the money.

Even her multiple jobs won't do a dim.

She stood up, picking up the small phone that was on top of the many files.

"Hello." She mumbled, cleaning her nose as she sniffed.

"Are you okay? I called the house and mother didn't pick up." It was Kassandra.

She couldn't even call her best friend to tell her that they were already In the hospital.

It wasn't her fault though. It was already past Nine last night that she had gone home only to see her mother shivering on the ground.

"Sorry for not texting earlier Sandra, Mom was admitted to the hospital last night. It's going to be her second diagnosis."

"Oh my! how is she now Ashley, and don't even try and hide a thing from me?" Sandra asked, her voice full of worry and fear.

Ashley sniffed.

She had tried to be strong for a long time and it was time she cried..even for a little time.

"Mother was admitted and diagnosed of the same acute heart failure...I bet there is nothing they can do to help her." She mumbled.

Sandra sighed.

Silence reigned between both of them before they other spoke.

"You went to meet him."

There was no keeping things from Sandra.

She had been with them for a long time.

Once upon a time, Ashley and her mother had gone to the pick-up station to get a small bicycle for her ice cream business. That was when she had just clocked Seventeen...They had found a girl sitting at the stand, homeless.

Her mother had taken her in and Sandra was made part of the family.

It was not up to the time of college had she taken a job and began making her self useful.

Sandra knew things no one knew.

"I had to. He decided to help us."

"Hmm. What was his condition?" Sandra asked again.

Ashley bit her lips.

Telling Sandra about his condition was more frightening than she could ever imagine.

"He did it out of good will."

"Foolish. You didn't think that I'd buy that bullshit right? Mikhail had treated you like trash back then in high school. We were practically they only people he'd found joy in bullying. What did he ask for?"

Stupid. She hit her head twice and sighed.

There was no denying that her sister might have thought about the condition her self.

"Will you do it? Sleep with him?"

"That's not it Sandra, you're getting it all wrong?"

"Then out with it already."

"He needs a Son." Ashley was quiet for the seconds she had spoken.

It was the exact same thing. He needed a baby. A child!

She had never expected that from him. He was the last person she'd even think about for her whole lifetime but circumstances had brought her into the mess she was in.

She hated to be poor. She hated the things she had gone through because of poverty and staring at the files she held in her hands.

Her heart wished to say yes, but then she knew the mess she was getting her self in to.

There was no marriage of any sort. She was going to be his Baby Momma and give him a Son for the year.

What if she birth a girl? Would he be happy or would still need a son in place of the girl.

She had many thoughts going through her head.

"Don't do it! We'll find a way to get through this. I'll first get some loans from Amy." Sandra mumbled after few minutes.

Ashley nodded.

There was no way she'd live a happy life being his baby momma.

He hated her so much which made her wonder why he'd want a woman he hated that much to birth his child. His heir!

She hung up and stood up from the bench.

Her small hands picking up the files.

Getting many jobs as possible and footing her bills was what she was going to do!

Chapter 2 Meet him

Chapter 2

Ashley had already began her nerve-racking penniless day.

She was so hungry that it was visible.

Her slender curvy body had become thin and her blue eyes had dimmed.

She pressed the button indicating that the next person had to be quick.

"One Americano and a caramel." The next person placed his order.

She nodded, getting the money and shoving it into the money box that came out as she pressed another button.

"Next."

"Didn't think you'd back down so quickly Cara Mia, how fearful have you become."

She didn't need a soothsayer to tell her who it was.

There was no way he'd be there, right in front of her. Right?

She looked up at him and bit her lips, as his handsome face came to view.

She grabbed the mug tightly glaring at him.

He had made her life a fucking hell and she hated him for it.

She never got to have a mundane high school life and it was all because of him.

"You're not excited to see me." He said, sighing as he turned to the others behind him.

"Scram."

That was all it took, to get the others running out of the coffee shop.

"You don't own the world." She glared at him and he nodded, pushing the seat to sit behind the counter opposite her.

"I do." He smiled.

"Why are you here?" She asked, turning to the see the two women he had brought that had taken a seat on one of the tables.

"You're still feisty, it doesn't fit you Ash." He said, his eyes boring hers.

She hated the way he called her name, hated the abbreviation he gave it that sounded pleasant. Ash.

"You're with something that belongs to me."

"I'll drop it at your office tomorrow." She kept a blank face, her eyes darting to the women.

They looked like nothing but whore...that was what they were actually.

"Does my presence here bother you?" He asked, and she scoffed.

"You can spend the night here for all I care Mikhail, can you just stop bothering me really. I told you about the contract. I don't want it. Thanks." She moved away from the counter and took a seat.

"I called the hospital and your mother is quite unwell." He said.

That piqued her interest and she turned to him, curious and angered at the same time.

"Seems like she'll be thrown out of the hospital if her bill is not foot by the end of the week." He shrugged.

"How wicked can nurses and doctors be." He shook his head.

Ashley was not stupid.

She was not a newbie in the game. This was the kind of time, she hated being poor.

She would surely get a piston and surely the man In frong of her would be the very first person she would use it on.

"What did you do Mikhail?"

Others would be afriad of him, but she knew better.

He was scary but she refuse to be scared by him.

He had done all sort of things to her and she had stood her ground.

This wasn't the time to back down and cower that would want him to taunt her the more.

"Sign the files and bring it to my desk Ash, this is going to be the last time." He smirked, turning around and leaving the shop.

The women stood up and followed him.

She bit her lips, dialing Sandra's phone number.

"Hello."

"They gave us the weekend to take mother away." The person at the other side of the call said.

She closed her eyes, tears running down her eyes.

This wasn't Good.

The hated she had for him brewed.

"I'm sorry Ashley, it is not in my hands." He muimbled.

She clenched her fist.

"Mikhail Mazza had a hand in this right?" She asked, chuckling as she did.

He sighed, rounding the counter and taking and taking the mug she held on her other hand.

"He wants you Ashley, many girls would be running to him already." The man said, dropping the mug.

"I'm not many girls, I'm myself." She said, rounding the counter and leaving the shop after tossing her apron on the table.

She had gotten enough of the shit!

She knew where to find him. She would end the shit she had gotten her self into.

He wasn't the cause, she was.

After Highschool, she had made sure all ties with him was cut off and now he was back to torment her life like he'd always did.

She stepped down of the taxi and walked in to the club.

They guards gave her a look and glared at her.

"I'm here to see Mikhail." She said, glaring right back at the guard.

"Everyone is said to call him with respect, I'd watch your tongue if I were you." The guard snarled but she paid no attention to him.

She raised her eyes and found him leaning on the third floor rails, as he whispered to some lady's who giggled like ducks.

"Mikhail!!" She yelled, but was pushed back by one of the guards.

"Don't fucking touch me, I want to talk to Mikhail, right this instant and there is nothing you can do to fucking stop me!" She glared at the man who looked huge.

He was a man and many more.

"Go home princess, such a place is not meant for a princess as your self." He said and she shook her head.

"I'm not leaving without talking to Mikhail, go tell that asshole to come meet me here."

"Whack!"

The slap had come with force, causing her to stagger back and losing her footing.

She fell on the floor, her eyes red with anger.

"Are you done?" She asked, standing up.

"Don't test my Patience lady." The man said, and she huffed.

"Tell Mikhail, that I won't leave till he speaks with me."

There was no way she'd let him control her life.

This wasn't High school and they were grown adults not children.

She raised her eyes up, and just that moment he turned laughing as he looked around and his eyes met hers.

She blinked, trying to keep herself steady but tears came rushing out!

Chapter 3 Who hit you

Chapter 3

Mikhail Mazza was not taking No for an answer.

He'd grown up and found joy in the best way he could.

He didn't go around Fucking women like the tabloid said about him.

But he loved getting the attention it drew, so why clear the air?

He knew how the citys and the town worked, he was a made man and he'd follow the footsteps of his father, the formal capo of the Mafia world.

He wouldn't lie, he had gotten his own fair share of woman.

He was no saint and he would never send away a willing woman.

Women flock around him and he didn't care, when the bend over his chair.. he'd fucked them and he'd send them away.

He didn't even know their names, just their cunt and how wet they would continue to be for him.

Walking In to the Coffee shop, he walked pass the long queue and stood close to the next person.

Giving the person a look, way was made and he'd gone through.

"Next." He had heard her call and he smirked, standing in front of her.

"Didn't think you'd back down so quickly Cara Mia, how fearful have you become." He said and she froze.

Ashley Crook.

He had never expected her to come running to him.

Ashley Crook was the strongest and stubbornnest female he had ever met.

She was everything a made man would want in a woman but he hated her.

It had began from Highschool and somehow seeing her as a full blown woman was more than just hate.

She had a nice curve and fuck he wanted her screaming underneath him on his bed and he'd have that.

He could recall the day she walked in to his office, crying her eyes out.

He was surprised to see her and they hell his guards had let her in without informing him.

He wasn't one to be joked with and men respected that.

He hated when men held their shoulder high in front of him.

They were meant to cower when he was near and the fact that he had established that fear in men made him proud.

After many years from Highschool, that was the first time she had walked to him deliberately and talked to him him.

"What is wrong Ash?" He had asked, surprising himself for being soft and calm.

The real him would have yelled at her for walking In to his office and send her out like a slut he'd just banged.

"Help me." She hipcupped, and he stood up.

"Help me." She mumbled again, and stumbled but he held her from falling.

She was the first woman, he had ever held like an egg except his mother.

And she fell asleep right on his arms. He sighed, walking to the couch to drop her there.

She sighed in her sleep and curled herself up on the couch.

For minutes, he kept staring at her as if she had grown horns.

She looked calm like a baby when sleeping but he knew she was no way near calm when awake.

He was still wondering why she would come to his club and get in to his office with a crying face and the fact that she had slept off as if he was a friend intrigued him.

She was a firecracker and that was the main reason, he had always find pleasure in bullying her.

She knew she had nothing, no one but each time he'd bully her..she would stand up for herself and at the end he'd win.

But right now, he was staring at that wet eyes again, and she was crying hard like she was just flogged and begging him to come to her rescue.

He frowned, letting go of the woman's hand and walking towards her.

He came down the stairs and walked to them.

"What's going on here Rob?" He asked his guard as he walked closer.

"This bitch here says she wants to see you and she kept insisting and called you an asshole." Rob said and sighed.

He noticed her cheek that was bruised and her swollen upper jaw.

Tears were still prickling down her eyes as she stared at him.

"Who hit her?" He asked, and the other hissed.

"The new guy, Max." Rob asnwered, pointing at the new huge guy.

He turned to him and without warning gave him a fast strong punch that got him staggering.

"We don't hit women or children, don't you fúçking get it!' He rasped, glaring at him.

He hissed and turned to her.

"What is it?" He'd asked, and she cleaned her eyes.

It wasn't every day, he saw women like Ashley cry.

Even when he bullied her to death at Highschool, she would stood her ground and cuss him.

Her mouth was her weapon and hell he didn't care.

But that bruise on her cheek didn't sit well with him.

Her cheek was the kind of cheek that was supposed to be rubbed with oil and savored not to hit.

He turned to the Max guy again and gave him a deadly glare.

The man went back, and gave him a bow.

He liked that.

"I won't ask again, Cara Mia. What is....

"Whack!" Was the only thing he could hear as he watched her cleaned her eyes again.

He didn't move. Was he supposed to?

This was the first time in all his life someone had the guts to slap him.

No one had tried that, maybe they all knew that it was a dead suicide note they person had written for himself.

He wiped his face back to her and hell he could see a mixture of both fear and anger in her eyes.

"Hmm, that was so surprising for a little thing such as you." He muttered.

His guys and men had their mouth agape at her and he knew she had changed history.

He didn't wait for her to say a word.

He strode to her and grabbed her hand, dragging her to his office.
