His Mistress

Author: : Jennifer enad
Genre: Billionaires
She came here to clear her chaotic mind after witnessing her husband and his mistress having sex in their bedroom. She was furious, because even though she didn't love him, she remained loyal. She didn't want to destroy the family they had built, even if their marriage was just a business arrangement. She tried to love her husband and even wanted to have a child with him, but something always felt missing. It was as if he was searching for something more, and she could feel it too. But that didn't justify what he did. She had every right to file charges against them, but she didn't. Her husband begged her not to and promised he would never do it again. To cool her head, she decided to go to Elite Bar for the first time and have a vodka. Thankfully, their daughter was asleep when it happened, because if she hadn't been, she would have definitely filed for adultery and concubinage. "Hey there, beautiful lady. Why are you here alone? No friends with you or a boyfriend Wait, you're married?" the man commented in shock as he noticed the ring on her finger. She was mesmerized by his looks. He had amber eyes like copper, making her lose her senses. His aristocratic nose was striking from every angle, with thick lashes and brows that any woman would envy. A sharp jawline accentuated his masculinity, and his perfect white teeth and red lips looked irresistibly tempting. His top-knot hairstyle only added to his Adonis-like face. "What's your name?" he asked, surprising even himself with the boldness, considering she was clearly already taken. He grinned widely. "Damn, women who belong to others always seem drawn to me. But anyway..." He extended his hand. "I'm Erin De'Lucas. Single." His gaze deepened. Ember couldn't help but trace her eyes over his body, stunned by how sexy and hot he was. He wore a black shirt and black pants, and he had a piercing in his left eyebrow. She took his hand almost involuntarily, feeling his grip tighten. "I-I'm Ember Vernon. Nice to meet you." "You're beautiful," he gasped, caressing her face. "T-Thank you," she stammered, her voice weak. She wasn't sure if it was the vodka or just a natural reaction to him. He tilted his head, looking deeply into her eyes. "I don't normally interfere with other people's relationships, but seeing you right now, looking so stunning, makes me want to break my own rules. I want you to be mine." His breath was hot against her ear, sending shivers through her body. "Huh?" She was stunned by his words. He chuckled seductively and held her hand, staring at the ring darkly. "Will you give me the honor of being your other man, mi hermosa?" His gaze seemed to pierce her very soul. His aura screamed danger, yet she found herself drawn to it. She was married to Tyson, after all, and they had a daughter, Easter. But they didn't love each other-what was holding her back? Her daughter. "I-I don't-" Before she could finish, he covered her mouth with his large hand, her eyes widening in shock. His jaw tightened. "I don't accept rejection. I've had enough of it. Whether you like it or not, I'm already your other man. I don't care if you're married. I like you, and I want you to be mine. That's final, and you can't stop me from claiming you, starting tonight, mi reina." His voice was cold and dangerous. "Even your husband won't be able to stop me from having an affair with someone like you. This is your fault-you've captured my attention and my heart. Now face the consequences of being too irresistible." Without knowing how, she found herself agreeing as they sealed it with a torrid kiss that lasted all night. "I'm officially your forbidden love affair now, Mi Reina." Maybe it was time for her husband to taste his own medicine.

Chapter 1 Cheating

Chapter 1

"Where have you been all night?" Tyson greeted her as soon as she entered their house. It was already 6 am, and she had just returned from the Elite Bar. She had spent the night there, sleeping in one of Erin's VIP rooms. She had discovered that Erin owned the bar she visited, which made her feel awkward since she hadn't known he was such an important person. She had thought he was just a random guy looking for a prey to hook up with. His appearance alone suggested that many women were after him, and she was just one of them. Considering this made her think about ending their affair before it even began. She knew it would only lead to trouble as time passed.

"Not now, Tyson. I'm tired. Where's Easter? Did she already go to school?"

"You're changing the topic. I said, where have you been? Do you know that Easter was crying last night because she was looking for you? Why are you coming home just now? Are you seeing another man, huh?" he snapped at her while she took off her heels.

She looked at him without any emotion. "Seriously, Tyson? You're asking me that crap? You have the nerve to accuse me of cheating? Who was the one who cheated? Wasn't it you? So stop accusing me of something I didn't do. From the beginning of our relationship, you know how much I valued the family we built. I stayed loyal to you and tried to fix this marriage because I hoped our life together would get better even though we got married just for our parents' business. I even gave you a child, sacrificing my education because I wanted to fulfill my duties as your wife, even though we were still young. I took care of you like a devoted wife and didn't complain that you weren't doing the same because I understood your sentiments. You weren't in love with me, and neither was I, so I allowed you to keep our relationship a secret at school and even now. Only our parents knew about our marriage because they were the ones who pushed us together for the sake of their companies' expansion. Imagine all the sacrifices I made for you. I obeyed my parents because I was the kind of daughter who always said yes to them, and I sacrificed my freedom, my teenage life, and my dreams for the sake of the companies. But you still ended up cheating on me. How cruel can you be?"

Tyson was stunned by her words and hugged her.

"I-I'm sorry, I was just tempted. You were always busy, so my attention shifted to someone else. I tried to be loyal too, but I-I-"

She pushed him away. "But you couldn't? Then you don't deserve to be forgiven. Just leave me alone and go to your work. Focus on your job and ignore our problems because they can't be fixed. Let's just pretend that we're civil, and I'll try to restrain my emotions when I look at you. Seeing you only reminds me of the foolishness you did last night, making me angry. You're lucky I still have some pity as your wife, and I don't want Easter to be sad if she finds out her father is having an affair with another woman."

"S-Sweetie, please don't do this to me. That woman was just a passing fancy for me. I'll always come back to you and Easter." He held her hand, but she immediately pulled it away.

She laughed mockingly. "Wow, you have some nerve. Are you saying that to make me feel better? Sorry to disappoint you, husband, but I'm not a martyr who will forgive easily and accept you with open arms after what you did. Only a fool would do that, and I'm not planning to give you another chance to hurt me. Once is enough; twice would be a fool's choice."

She left him standing there, shoulders slumped. She went to her daughter's room to check if Easter was still there and saw her sitting at her vanity mirror while one of the maids brushed her hair. She was already wearing her school uniform.

"Mommy!" she greeted cheerfully when she saw her and ran towards her. She just chuckled and rubbed her daughter's cheek.

"Don't hug and kiss, Mommy. I smell awful. You'll catch it, go ahead."

Her daughter's eyes widened, and she quickly backed away. "Yuck, Mommy!" She and the maid laughed because they knew how particular her daughter was about cleanliness, just like her meticulous father. But he had a dirty conscience, only pretending to be a clean person.

"Ma'am Ember. I bathed her because I knew you'd be late coming home." The maid knew what really happened that night and was thankful for her thoughtfulness in taking care of things she shouldn't have to. Her job was to clean the house, not take care of her child, as that was her own responsibility.

"Thanks, Melissa." She smiled and looked at her daughter, who was pouting.

"Mommy, where were you last night? I was crying because I woke up, and you weren't beside me anymore. I thought you were just drinking milk in the kitchen, so I went there. But only Daddy was there, drinking coffee. He looked stressed and sad. Did you two fight? Is that why you weren't around and he looked gloomy?"

She quickly glanced at Melissa, who was also looking at her. "Ah, baby girl, you're late. Come on. We have to go; you might get scolded by the gate guard for being late to school. You can ask Mommy later. Let's hurry up, my nose is bleeding from watching you, baby girl."

"Nana Mimi, you need to go." She frowned, finding it cute.

Melissa just chuckled and grabbed Easter's backpack. "Okay, you're the smart one." She looked back at her and winked. "We're leaving, Ma'am Ember."

"No, Mommy, I want money for snacks."

The corner of her mouth lifted. "Ask your Dad in the living room; I'm sure he'll give you some cash." She egged her on.

Her daughter's eyes twinkled as she ran out of the room. Melissa yelled while chasing after her daughter. The two were really close because Melissa was the only one who took care of her daughter when she was away. The other maids weren't fond of kids, so they didn't approach Easter.

"D*mn." She hissed while rubbing her head. She thought her hangover was mild, but it wasn't. She quickly entered their bedroom, took off all her clothes, and soaked in the hot bathtub to relax her body and mind. Before she could finish her bath, her cellphone, which she had placed nearby, rang.

"Hello?" She said faintly and groggily.

"F*ck, you sound sexy. Mi Reina. I just want to inform you, I'm in front of your house; I brought some soup I made."

She jumped out of the bathtub, fully awakened by what he said. Her heart hammered as she thought about her husband in the living room.

"What the h*ll, Erin? Why did you come here? Are you crazy? My family is here. Do you want my husband to beat you up?" She said hysterically, hurriedly getting dressed.

"Oh la la. So thrilling. I like the feeling of being hidden, roar." She slapped her forehead at his response. Instead of being worried, he was even more playful.

"Sh*t, just go home now or go back to the bar. We'll get caught early because of what you're doing. My daughter is here, and I don't want her to witness a dramatic scene!"

He laughed loudly on the other end, and she shivered because of it. His voice was deep and cool, which, despite her nervousness about what might happen, strangely calmed her.

"Oops, my future daughter is there. Fine, I'll leave, but you need to give me a goodbye kiss first. How about that deal?"

"Are you insane? My husband is here."

"I don't care about your husband. He's just the husband; I'm the lover." She didn't know whether to laugh or be annoyed at what he said.

"Shut up, you sound like an idiot," she suppressed a smile and looked at her husband, who was busy with his laptop in the living room. She noticed his wallet was open on the coffee table, and she knew Tyson would let Easter snatch some money from it. That's always how it was with father and daughter: Tyson was the bank, and Easter was the money snatcher.

Even though he wasn't a good husband, he was a decent father to their daughter, and that was enough for her. There was nothing she could do if Tyson couldn't resist cheating because he didn't love her enough to avoid temptations.

"Where are you going again?" She looked back as she failed to fully leave through the door.

Her husband was still looking at his laptop while asking her. He was so focused on his work.

"None of your business," she said coldly and quickly left. She knew Tyson wouldn't go after her because, when it came to work, he wouldn't give a d*mn about anyone around him and would prioritize his company work. He was too much of a workaholic once he started working.

"7 o'clock, Mi Reina," he said and hung up. What was he talking about, 7 o'clock? Was it a soft drink?

Chapter 2 Our house

Chapter 2

She glanced at a latest Ferrari parked in the distance. It was a black Ferrari. She realized that Erin meant direction, but she was just too slow at the moment to understand what he said. She gasped when Erin stepped out of the car. She quickly walked towards him, grateful that there weren't many people around, and those who were outside were too busy to mind others' business.

"F*ck, that hurts! Do you miss me so much that you greet me with pinches and slaps?" he teased her, pulling her by the waist.

"Erin, stop it! Don't be clingy here. If we get caught, I'll take you to my grave with me!"

He smirked. "Wow, I love it. The 'till death do us apart' you promised your husband at the altar, you'll actually fulfill it with me,"

"Shut up!"

He pouted, and she tried not to smile at his cuteness. "A kiss? I wasted effort buying this car so your husband would feel the grief of losing you to me,"

W-What? He bought that car for that reason? Goodness, he's crazy.

Her eyes widened, and she slapped his pout. "Are you out of your mind? Do you really plan to show yourself to Tyson? Do you want to get punched?"

He rolled his eyes. Wow, he rolled his eyes at her. "It's your fault for leaving without saying goodbye to me after I put you to sleep in my private room. I'm jealous of your husband, I have the right to be jealous. I'm your lover, I have rights to complain. Yes, the lover has the right, not the spouse,"

She laughed at what he said. "You're crazy, get out of here-Hmmp-Hey, rude. Don't just kiss me suddenly!" She glared at him, but he just smirked after giving her a quick kiss.

"Sorry not sorry, I'm a thief. I love to steal kisses if it's you." She blushed at what he said, and her heart started to pound loudly in her chest.

She pushed him away. "G-Get out of here, you're disturbing the neighbors,"

He giggled. "Really? Because I'll only accept what you said if we're in the same house, making love all day long, and you're screaming in pleasure under me,"

She gasped at Erin's crudeness. "You're so vulgar, get out-Wait, what are you doing?" She asked nervously as he suddenly pulled her into the car.

"Here, eat the soup I brought you. I cooked it with love and effort. If I were your husband, I would never let you go out wearing just a robe. I'd rather die than let you go out like that. Tyson is so lucky-"

"Tyson, Erin. Tyson!"

He smirked. "I like calling him poison, no one can stop me from calling your husband whatever I want,"

She sighed deeply. "God help me, you're as stubborn as Easter,"

"Now you're sounding so conyo,"

She glared at him. "I said, eat up before your husband picks you up here."

She quietly ate the soup, which lessened her hangover. It was delicious and aromatic, making her close her eyes with each bite.

"Stop moaning, Mi Reina. You're making it hard for me to breathe in the same place as you," he said, not looking at her but staring out the window. She could see his Adam's apple moving up and down.

"Oh? You're turned on? How weak of you,"

He turned sharply towards her, his face darkening as he stared at her. "I'm not weak, will you stop putting that spoon in your mouth and put my friend in it instead?"

She choked on his words. "See? Don't try me. I can break you even more than that,"

Her womanhood awakened because of his crude words, and she tried to act like she didn't care about his dirty talk, even though her whole system was

"Why did you come here barefoot?" he asked with a furrowed brow, pulling her leg and cleaning her dirty foot.

"H-Hey, d-don't clean it, it's embarrassing!" She tried to pull her leg off his lap, but Erin gripped her ankles tighter to stop her.

"Don't be stubborn, let me clean your feet. I have spare slippers here."

Her eyebrow raised when Erin put the fluffy slippers on her. "From your girlfriend?" she asked snappily.

Erin looked at her with a wide grin. "No, my girlfriends have never been in my cars, and I don't care about them like I care for you now."

She crossed her arms, feeling annoyed. "So, you're admitting you have girlfriends, huh?"

"Wow, mad already? I have reasons for having lots of women before. Wait, are you jealous? Don't be, love. It's making me giddy." He pouted. "F*ck, ugh!" Erin cupped himself when she kicked him. She was more annoyed that he had many girlfriends. Then again, he was very handsome, so it's no surprise women liked him, and she hated that.

"Leave now." She got out of the car and went inside the house. Tyson, who was still in the living room drinking coffee, looked at her in confusion.

"Why are you so mad? Did I do something wrong?" Her husband asked in a monotone voice, but she just rolled her eyes at him and went to their room. She showered properly and got dressed because she had a lot to do. She's a fashion designer and loves to draw dresses and other types of clothes. Her parents thought she was just Tyson's housewife, but she actually wasn't. She worked because she didn't want to rely on her husband. She didn't even touch his money, even though he gave her an allowance every month. She just deposited it into Easter's bank account because all of Tyson's money would go to their child anyway.

"Honey! Why are you breaking up with me? Didn't you say you love me?"

"I don't love you and I never said that. I told you I just wanted a release; I never said I'd commit to you. You're just a fling, don't demand more than that. You knew I was already married, yet you still seduced me. You just want my money, right? Here, take this and go away. We're done, I don't want to see you again. You're so boring and loud to be with."

"What? How could you treat me this way? I love you, Tyson!"

"Well, the feeling isn't mutual. Just get out of our house, you b*tch, or I'll call the security of this subdivision to throw you out if you resist."

She passed by the arguing couple as if they weren't there. The woman's eyes widened as she looked at her. She should be surprised because she was much prettier, yet Tyson still cheated on her. It annoyed her that her husband had no taste.

She faced Tyson, who looked shocked, probably not expecting her to walk past them.

"S-Sweetie, I'm cutting ties with her. I didn't know why she came here-"

"Oh please, Tyson. If you're going to cheat on me again, could you at least choose someone prettier than me? Look at her, she's so cheap. How many layers of makeup did she put on to look human? She's trying hard but looks like a clown."

"You b*tch-"

"Enough, Sera. Let's go, we need to clear things out." Tyson dragged the woman out, who was still glaring at her until they were finally out of the house.

She might as well not wear clothes if her large chest was going to spill out of her crop top. She wore short clothes to attract attention, and her husband was one of those caught by her cheap style.

"If it were me, I wouldn't treat you like that."

"What the-Erin? Why did you come in? You really like getting yourself into trouble, huh? Leave before someone sees you." She nervously pushed him, but he didn't budge and wrapped his arms around her small waist.

"Relax, the maids won't say a word. They're too scared to lose their tongues. I already bribed them with my money, and they will update me if your husband isn't around so I can come here and spend time with you. How sweet of me, right?" He raised his eyebrows and grinned playfully.

"You're really crazy!"

His face turned serious. "It's your fault; you made me crazy over you. Your husband is such a fool for replacing you with someone unworthy of love." His deep gaze weakened her knees. If he wasn't holding her waist, she might have collapsed on the marble floor due to the intensity of his stare.

"Relax, Mi Reina. We're just starting. Don't be so anxious; we're not in the exciting part yet. You could just leave your husband since he cheated. You can come with me, and of course, we'll bring Easter."

She gasped. "H-How do you know my daughter's name? I only told you about me and my husband, nothing more."

He smiled. "You don't know me well, Mi Reina. You really don't. I can do everything with just a snap of my fingers, and I was curious about your daughter. That's why I asked one of the maids, and she told me about her. She looks like you, huh?" He looked at the family portrait on the fireplace. It was Tyson, her, and their daughter, Easter.

"I should be in that picture, not Lason." His face darkened.

"Tys-" She was silenced by his sudden approach. She wanted to move away, but he held her in place.

"I don't care about his name; I only care about you and your daughter. Why settle for less when you deserve a better man like me?" She stared at him, speechless.

Chapter 3 The dinner

Chapter 3

"Sweetie, I tried to cook your favorite. I want to make it up with you. I really regret having an affair with Sera. Please give me a chance to fix our relationship? For the sake of our daughter."

She had just come from her boutique, her mind adrift, when Tyson greeted her as soon as she stepped into their home. He was wearing an apron, clearly fresh from cooking, as it was dirty and covered in sauce. Tyson looked disheveled with messy hair. Her husband was actually handsome, but if she compared Tyson to Erin, Erin would win by far.

That guy had a dark and intense aura that made her knees weak every time their eyes met. His eyes seemed to drown her in another dimension. His beautiful eye color captivated her, and she couldn't help but fixate on them. It was as if they were magnets, and no matter how hard she tried to resist, her attention was always drawn back. Erin's dazzling amber eyes effortlessly left her stunned in awe. Eyes like his were rare; her own eyes were pure black, as were her husband's, because she was purely Filipino. Erin's eyes, however, hinted at mixed heritage, clearly not purely Filipino, and his accent confirmed he was a foreigner.

"Sweetie?"

Tyson's touch on her cheek brought her back to reality. She flinched and moved away. His touch didn't elicit any feelings within her, unlike Erin, whose mere glance made her heart race. It felt weird, but she liked it.

Tyson seemed puzzled by her reaction and moved closer. She allowed him to hug her around the waist and kiss her cheek. She realized it was wrong to pull away since he was her husband, and it was normal for Tyson to touch her.

"I'm sorry. I know you're still mad at me. Sera and I are done. I told her we needed to stop because I want my family more than her. I made a mistake by getting involved with her; she only made me happy temporarily, unlike you and Easter. You two make me happy without doing anything. I'm deeply sorry for breaking your trust. I know my reason for cheating isn't enough, so I'm doing my best to change for our family. I promise I won't do it again. I learned my lesson, Sweetie."

She took a deep sigh. She didn't know what to say. She wanted to forgive him and give him another chance for their daughter's sake, but her heart wouldn't cooperate. It longed for something else, for reasons she couldn't understand. She was ready to give in to her husband, not for herself, but for their daughter's sake. She wanted her daughter to grow up with a complete family, just like she had.

"Let's talk about that some other time. Where's Easter?" she changed the subject because she wasn't ready to answer him. Her mind was too confused, and Erin was the reason for it. His words left her dazed at unexpected moments. She hadn't been able to draw a single design today in her office because Erin occupied her thoughts. Erin was making her question her life decisions.

"She's upstairs sleeping. Don't worry, she already ate her dinner. She has school early tomorrow, so I fed her and put her to bed. Also, I wanted this night to be our alone time." He sniffed her neck, making her uncomfortable, so she pretended to stretch and yawn.

"Let's eat. I'm so tired. I want to rest early," she said as an excuse and sat down at the table. There was spaghetti with too much sauce, hotdogs, and cheese. Her mouth watered because it was her favorite, but she hesitated to eat it because it didn't look edible. Some ingredients were burnt, the hotdogs seemed undercooked, and the cheese was sliced into large cubes, about the size of a Rubik's Cube. She would choke if she ate it.

Tyson sat next to her while serving spaghetti on her plate. She didn't know whether to refuse or just eat it because she didn't want to erase the happy smile on Tyson's face. This was the first time her husband had cooked for her because he was always busy and had no time for other things. "Try it, I'm sure it tastes delicious like you always eat," he urged, holding the spoon at her mouth to feed her.

"U-Uhm, I can eat using my own hands."

He shook his head. "No, I'll feed you," he insisted.

His face showed determination. She was too tired to argue, so she just went along with his wishes.

"It tastes good, right?" Just one bite and she felt like fainting from the taste; she didn't know how many spoonfuls of salt he had put in the spaghetti sauce. She could even feel solid bits of it, as if it hadn't dissolved because he might have rushed mixing all the ingredients.

She forced a smile and nodded, wiping her mouth. "I actually already ate dinner, so I'll just eat a little now," she excused, even though she hadn't eaten and was very hungry. She preferred to go hungry than force herself to eat what he had prepared for her.

"That's okay, at least my cooking isn't that bad as you say," he said happily. She wanted to complain as she continued to eat, feeling like her stomach was about to turn, so she quickly stood up.

"I-I n-need to go, I'm really s-sleepy. Thanks for the dinner. It's g-good," she struggled to speak because she was holding back from vomiting in front of him. She felt her face growing pale as she began to sweat.

He smiled at her. "Are you not going to finish your food?" he asked, looking at what was left.

She quickly shook her head. "N-No, I mean-I need to sleep early because I'm exhausted." She didn't wait for his response and immediately went to their room, running to the bathroom to vomit everything she had eaten. She sat weakly on the tiles, having spent several minutes expelling everything from her stomach. Damn, her husband was really a terrible cook. That's why he never cooked, aside from being a workaholic, he didn't know how to cook. She had thought earlier that he had improved, but his cooking skills had only gotten worse.

She bathed, changed her clothes, and quickly lay down on the bed, covering herself with a blanket after completing her skincare routine. While mulling over what Erin had said, she didn't realize she had fallen asleep.

"Mi Reina,"

She groaned, wondering why she was hearing Erin even in her dreams. Couldn't he leave her alone for one day?

"Mi Reina, I know you're already conscious. Get up, you need to eat a proper dinner."

She sighed, realizing she wasn't dreaming as she felt him lift her and sit her up, causing her to open her eyes and see his profile. The lights were off, but she could still see his side profile and dark gaze, making her gulp multiple times.

"E-Erin?"

"Hmmm?" he responded while busy putting food on a tray. It looked like homemade food, not takeout. She looked around and beside her, searching for her husband.

"He's not here, he went out somewhere. Your maids told me that. They also said they saw that you didn't eat properly because of your husband's terrible cooking. So I came home early to cook for you. I was very busy when they called me, but I still left my unfinished work because you're my top priority."

She was shocked at his words. "What? You're busy? Why did you leave your job? Your boss might fire you for leaving suddenly. Prioritize your job, not me. We're just strangers to each other, why do you care about me? Besides, my husband might catch you here in our room, he might get angry-"

"Why are you afraid that he might catch us? He cheated first, you're just making him taste his own medicine. You don't love him, why bother hiding my presence?" He stopped, his eyes devoid of emotion. "I have flexible hours, so I can leave my job whenever I want. Our business can survive without me. Did you forget that we're not strangers anymore? We already know each other's names and I know everything about you."

All the hair on her body stood up because of what he said. She sensed something in the way he delivered those last words.

"You're asking why I'm so attentive and caring to you? It's because that's part of my responsibility as your other man. I can give you the attention and love that you've been yearning for years that you can't have with your own husband."

She looked at him in confusion. "What are you trying to say?"

He smiled faintly. "I'm in love with you. It may sound sudden and unbelievable because we've just met, but I'm telling the truth. My attraction towards you became something I didn't expect. It happened so fast, and I don't know how."
