It's his turn to go after his mate, but how can he prove his good intentions if Ackerly doesn't want anything to do with him?

Chapter 1 Prologue

The child implored his mother with a desperate tone, "Please, do not subject me to this. I am willing to do anything. Allow me to remain here, for I cannot bear to continue living in solitude," he pleaded with great urgency.

The mother had barely opened her mouth when he dropped to his knees, nearly pressing his lips to her toes. His body was a canvas of violence, marked by the savage beating he had endured. Blood oozed from his wounds, staining his clothes and the ground beneath him.

Bruises bloomed on his skin like dark flowers, a testament to the brutality of his attackers. A copious amount of blood had pooled in his nasal cavity, and he had been deprived of three of his teeth.

With a fierce and unwavering stare, the woman fixed her eyes upon him, her anger palpable and uncontainable. The father stood by, a silent witness to his wife's cruel treatment of their son. He made no move to intervene, his inaction a stark contrast to the violence unfolding before him.

He was above assaulting his own son. The parents exhibited a distinct lack of concern for their offspring.

"Do not address me as your mother! As a mother, shame courses through my veins as I reflect on my actions. If only I had known how you would turn out," she whispered, her voice heavy with regret.

"I would have made a different choice." Her words landed on him like a heavy blow, as if he were a stranger to her, not the child she had carried and birthed.

Tears streamed down the boy's face as he let out heart-wrenching sobs and pitiful whimpers. In the heat of battle, his form is feeble and insubstantial. As he knelt before his parents, his heart heavy with desperation, they remained utterly unmoved by his pleas.

For a period of four long years, the young boy endured the torment of abuse. It all began when he was just twelve years of age, and now, at the age of sixteen, he still bears the scars of his traumatic experience.

"Leave this place at once, you wretched scoundrel! I would rather not have a son at all than one who is homosexual like you," the parent declared with a cold and callous tone.

The piercing sound of his mother's voice echoed through the room as she directed her anger towards him. The teenager bowed his head, a gesture of submission.

Ultimately, he proved to be a forlorn individual who preferred the solace of literature to the rigors of combat and physical training. His parents adamantly refused to accept his sexual orientation, a fact that would have otherwise made him the next in line to be an Alpha.

The elders, in order to preserve the pristine reputation of their family's Alpha lineage, imparted upon him the notion that he was afflicted with a curse. Consequently, they resolved to bestow the coveted title upon his younger sibling.

He had been subjected to abuse by every member of the Pack. The directive to proceed thusly emanated directly from his progenitors. Due to the relentless abuse and persistent bullying, there was a fervent hope that a transformation would occur within him.

The endeavor proved to be fruitless. As the relentless march of time pressed on, the situation deteriorated with alarming rapidity. The Pack had shunned him completely. It is a lamentable truth that their inclination is to inflict harm upon him rather than extend the hand of friendship, a circumstance that evokes great sorrow.

Those who identified as homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals, and other non-heterosexual individuals were often viewed as societal outcasts. Within the pack, there existed no space for their presence.

The boy winced as his mother's hand connected with his cheek in a sharp slap. The Alpha, his father, swiftly rose from his seat and pulled him out into the hallway. "The moment had arrived to depart from the pack. Bringing you into this territory would be nonsensical!" His father said.

"Leave this place at once, lest I be compelled to end your life," he growled menacingly.

The young boy was taken aback by the Alpha's sudden outburst, causing him to instinctively recoil in terror. His heart raced and his breaths came in short, shallow gasps. His mind was consumed by a sense of overwhelming fear, leaving him in a state of utter panic.

Beyond the confines of this territory, he had no one. A band of ruthless rogues posed an imminent threat to his life. He stood before the Alpha, a wolf stripped of his self-assurance and tenacity, unable to hold his ground.

Once more, he let out a mournful cry and begged with all his might. "Then, shall I become your loyal servant!" He pleaded desperately, his eyes filled with tears.

"I implore you to allow me to remain!" A piercing scream of terror escaped his lips.

Because he doesn't eat enough, he is dying of starvation. Once a week, food was provided to him, though at times he was subjected to a brutal fate of being battered to death.

"Father," he pleaded, his voice trembling with desperation. "I beg of you! Please!" His voice was feeble, barely audible to anyone around him.

The Alpha's fury knew no bounds as he lashed out at his own flesh and blood, his son. There was no holding back as he unleashed his wrath upon the young wolf. Blood stained his hand as he coughed, but his father remained stoic, offering no hint of sympathy.

"Never again shall you address me as your father! The expulsion from the pack was a harsh reality that had befallen upon you. You shall find no acceptance, for you have been demoted to the status of Omega," With a furious roar, the Alpha bellowed.

The young wolf received another brutal blow from the Alpha, his body recoiling from the impact. With a final, forceful shove, he was cast out beyond the boundaries of the pack's territory.

As the young lad kneeled there, watching his parents depart, they did not cast a single glance in his direction.

As he watched his former packmates revel in their mirth, he couldn't help but feel the sting of their derision. They mocked him openly, expressing their relief at his absence and their pleasure at no longer having to tolerate the presence of such an outcasts.

He fixed his gaze upon the vast expanse of the night sky, his heart heavy with reverence for the Moon Goddess. His body lay still and silent, as if frozen in

time, unable to utter a single word or make the slightest movement.

He had resigned himself to his present circumstances, or so he thought. There was little fault to be found in his actions, save for his unwavering commitment to his own nature.

The boy pondered, contemplating the acceptance of his current state.

Chapter 2 The Alpha

"Have no worries, Alpha," the Beta reassured his leader. "Perhaps the Moon Goddess has deemed it fit for you to have a mate who is both responsible and nurturing." Alpha Killan Raiden Leonidas gazed at his Beta with a perplexed expression, as if he were confronted with a most confounding enigma.

Killan's gaze was as cold as ice as he fixed it on him. He found himself growing increasingly frustrated with his Beta's carefree and occasionally foolish behavior. The Sun Forest Pack, reputedly the largest and most ruthless of all Packs in the world, reigned supreme.

The mere mention of their name sent shivers down the spines of both Pack and rogue alike. The Alpha wolf possessed the strength to take down ten wolves in a single blow of his razor-sharp paws.

When he stepped onto the battlefield, he transformed into a raving lunatic. The Alpha, a mature individual of thirty years, had recently returned from a prolonged hiatus spanning two months. He just got here, and now he's uptight.

One could hardly blame an individual for feeling apprehensive if the intended purpose of their vacation failed to come to fruition. He searched tirelessly for his beloved mate, journeying across vast oceans and traversing through foreign lands.

Alas, his efforts proved futile as he returned to his Pack with a heavy heart and empty hands. Killan's heart was heavy with dissatisfaction as he searched for his mate. Despite his tireless efforts, he had yet to find the one who would complete him.

The longing for mate weighed heavily on him, and he could not shake the feeling of incompleteness that plagued him day and night.

"Cato," barked the commanding voice, "Cease your prattle and return to your duties," he exclaimed. Killan abruptly silenced his Beta.

The Beta's countenance fell into a pout, a display of his childlike tendencies. He was the sole individual capable of enduring his Alpha's capricious temperament.

The person retorted, "I was merely attempting to unwind in this moment, if you don't mind." In a childish tone, Cato, the Beta, addressed his Alpha, "My lunch break has already commenced."

Killan rolled his eyes in exasperation and flung his pen at his friend. The two of them found themselves within the confines of Killan's office, situated in the esteemed Leonidas Group of Companies.

This establishment, responsible for a multitude of successful ventures, served as the Pack's primary means of financial support.

Nestled deep within the lush woodlands of Michigan, USA, lay the Sun Forest Pack - a formidable group of creatures, both wealthy and elusive. Their existence, shrouded in secrecy, remained hidden from the prying eyes of humans and other mythical beings alike.

Cato bestowed upon his Alpha a cunning grin. Despite the pressing issue plaguing the werewolf community with the she-wolves, he yearned for a respite from his duties.

As he pondered over the challenges and remedies bestowed upon them by the Moon Goddess, the Beta let out a deep sigh and assumed a stoic demeanor. He stated that the Omega males in the Pack were pregnant upon finding their mates.

It had been over two months since he had laid eyes on his Pack. Amidst a myriad of challenges, the Alpha found themselves with an overwhelming amount to catch up on.

The Alpha let out a deep sigh, a realization that had been with him throughout his travels from one Pack to another. Regardless of the male Omega's choice of mate, pregnancy is an inevitable outcome once a mating bond has been established.

The she-wolves, once fertile and abundant, were now stricken with a mysterious ailment that left them barren and desolate. Desperate for a solution, they turned to the divine powers of the Moon Goddess, beseeching her for aid in their time of need. This was bestowed upon them.

The imperative to repopulate loomed over them, an inescapable burden that they could ill afford to ignore. The rogues, with their reckless disregard for the sanctity of life, had instigated the last war, a brutal conflict that had decimated their numbers.

Now, the survivors were left with no choice but to rebuild their ranks, no matter how daunting the task may seem. The population of werewolves had been decimated by half.

"We were powerless to resist the call of the Moon Goddess, for it was her divine will that we undertake the vital task of repopulating our dwindling werewolf clan. After all, the prospect of facing extinction was simply unthinkable, was it not?" Killan heaved a deep sigh.

The she-wolves were growing increasingly hostile, convinced of their own worthlessness. Cato helplessly muttered to his Alpha, "They are targeting omega males who are pregnant."

In moments when the she-wolves unleash their ferocity, his presence cannot always be guaranteed. Despite having assigned Pack warriors to ensure the safety of the Omegas, he found himself with a great deal of work to attend to.

Killan furrowed his brow and lifted his eyebrows in response to Cato. The Omegas possessed the capacity to protect themselves, yet they seemed to be refraining from doing so.

The Pack warriors' time was being squandered, despite their potential to greatly aid in the protection of our territory. A deep furrow formed between his eyebrows as he contorted his face into a frown. The Alpha struggled to comprehend the situation before them.

Cato maintained an impressive level of silence. The Alpha was a formidable force, with a keen eye for detecting any hint of vulnerability among the Omegas. He was unyielding in his pursuit of a strong and resilient Pack, and would not tolerate any weakness among his ranks.

"Tell the Pack warriors to resume their original task," he instructed his Beta, "and do not concern yourself with the protection of those who are feeble.

"They shall manage on their own." There existed no room for dispute with the pronouncement of the Alpha. Cato heaved a deep sigh and acquiesced to his Alpha with a nod.

"I will," Alpha, Cato replied, rising to his feet.

With a deep bow and a shake of his head, he walked out of the Alpha's office. The Beta, despite their best efforts, proved unable to provide assistance to the Omegas. Like all members of the Pack, they too played a crucial role in upholding harmony within their domain. Alpha Killan was oblivious to this fact, for weakness had never been a trait he possessed.

Cato pondered the question, his mind racing with possible solutions. 'How could he convince the Alpha to see the error of his ways when it came to the Omegas?' It was a delicate matter, one that required finesse and careful consideration.

Cato took a deep breath and began to formulate a plan. As he strode out of the edifice, Cato thought. A heavy sigh escaped his lips, filled with a sense of despair.

Killan fists balled up tightly. His brow furrowed. Disappointment weighed heavily upon him as he continued his search for the one who would complete him, his soul mate. The mere mention of the omegas by Cato served only to exacerbate an already tense situation.

He harbored a deep-seated disdain for them, for their inherent fragility and pitiable nature. He extended a gracious welcome to the Omegas, for they still held value in the eyes of the Pack.

The state of the werewolf community was in utter disarray at present. The issues at hand were only growing more complex with each passing day, particularly with the she-wolves who were vehemently protesting the omegas.

It was a curious situation, for the Omegas held no sway over their affairs, yet the she-wolves persisted in their opposition. The will of the Moon Goddess is what guides them. Those who harbor reservations shall be met with dire consequences.

Killan carries a deep-seated aversion towards his involvement in the grand scheme of the Goddess, yet he finds himself unable to evade his role. Alpha Killan was abruptly jolted out of his deep contemplation when the intercom on his desk buzzed to life, announcing a call from his secretary.

"Sir," the secretary informed Alpha, "the packless wolves have arrived for the interview." The man berated himself for recalling his appointment and agenda for the day.

He has to look for werewolves that are not part of a Pack but are not rogue and observe, observe, and question them. They are docile wolves that coexist with people.

They humbly sought permission from the Alpha to submit their application for employment within the esteemed company and to seek refuge under the protection of his Pack.

Killan emitted a fierce snarl. "Allow them entry individually, and maintain vigilance," he commanded with the authority of an Alpha. "The origin of these wolves remains unknown."

With the exception of those humans who had been chosen as mates by the wolves, the entirety of the company's workforce consisted of members of the Pack. Amidst the bustling crowds of humans, there existed a secret world of werewolves unbeknownst to the unsuspecting masses.

The werewolves possessed an acute sense of hearing. In the distance, the sound of their Alpha's voice was unmistakable. Some individuals flinched, while others leaped up and down with excitement, and a few even whimpered in fear.

Terror coursed through their veins upon hearing the command of their Alpha. Completely devoid of any discernible pattern, his behavior was utterly unpredictable.

His countenance remained stoic and unyielding. There was no need for him to loosen up. He stood tall and proud, exuding an aura of power and dominance. His reputation preceded him, as he was already known as a formidable Alpha.

Within a minute, a resounding knock reverberated through the door. "Enter," he declared, his voice devoid of any emotion and icy in tone.

Trembling, the figure entered the room. Killan let out an exasperated sigh and gestured for the individual to have a seat. Without a moment's hesitation, he denied the man the opportunity to catch his breath.

With a quick inquiry, his gaze scanned the area for the wolves that sought his approval. "What motivates you to join this Pack?" he asked.

The man stuttered and gulped before giving his response. "The Pack exudes an aura of power, wealth, and security," proclaimed the man.

Killan was utterly exhausted. Four long hours had passed since he began interviewing the wolves. To his surprise, they responded with nothing but compliments.

Within the pages of any book concerning werewolves lies the knowledge to satiate one's inquiries. Killan let out a deep sigh before reaching for the phone to dial his secretary's number.

"I do hope that was the final wolf I had to interview today," he grumbled. The Alpha's acute senses picked up the sound of her gulp before she answered the phone.

Her voice faltered as she spoke, "T-there is one more person, A-Alpha." Killan's temper was on the verge of unraveling. The urgency in their tone was palpable.

"So, what are you waiting for?!?" he exclaimed. "Grant him entry!" He bellowed into the receiver.

Without hesitation, the secretary dutifully carried out the commands of her Alpha. Her agitation nearly caused her to stumble and fall flat on her face. The secretary was in a state of utter chaos.

With haste, she ushered in the final individual. Killan stood inside his office, his heart racing as the doorknob clicked, completely unaware of the impending danger that awaited him.

With a sudden jolt, he turned his head, a primal instinct deep within urging him that the moment had arrived. Killan was filled with joy, much like his wolf mate.

After an exhaustive search of neighboring territories, his long-awaited mate finally materialized before his very eyes. The wolf within him was going berserk, howling at the top of its lungs, "mate!"

The alluring scent wafted into his nostrils, tempting him with its irresistible aroma. Surprise washed over him, lifting his spirits and brightening his mood.

As his anticipation began to build, the individual abruptly retreated indoors, leaving him deflated. The world as he knew it had crumbled before his very eyes, leaving him in a state of utter despair. His entire being had been let down by a system that was supposed to protect and support him.

Chapter 3 Ackerly Ciro Galeno

As the morning light filtered through the window, Ackerly Ciro Galeno stirred from his slumber with a contented smile. For seven years, he had coexisted with humans in perfect harmony. At the tender age of twenty-three, he had already earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the esteemed Michigan University, with the added distinction of graduating with honors.

On the sly, he delves into the intricate details of werewolf anatomy and physiology alongside his lupine brethren and esteemed academicians at the university. His talent in this area was exceptional.

For seven long years, his true identity remained shrouded in secrecy, concealed from the prying eyes of the world. His whereabouts, a mystery to all who knew him, remained a closely guarded secret. The task at hand was arduous, but he persevered and emerged victorious. He maintained a safe distance from the humans, wary of arousing any suspicion.

He devoted himself to his studies and work. Abandoned by his Pack, he fled under the cover of darkness the following day, disavowing any connection to his former family.

As he meticulously adjusted his hair, smoothed out his coat, and straightened his tie, a wry chuckle escaped his lips. It was his inaugural attempt at securing a role within a company owned by the Pack.

However, the imposing werewolf council would not be swayed by his solitary stance, and demanded that he engage with his fellow werewolf. Failure to comply would result in the damning label of a rogue werewolf.

He found himself compelled to follow, for to do otherwise would mean being relentlessly pursued as a rogue. Thus, he had no choice but to seek refuge among a Pack.

"You have the ability to accomplish this," he affirmed.

The council's decree was clear: the Sun Forest Pack, being the nearest in proximity, was to extend their welcome to him.

The Pack was a formidable force, and even the most daring rogues knew better than to approach them. Ackerly drew in a deep breath upon hearing the term "rogue." He had a deep-seated disdain for those beings.

The Haze Forest Pack was destined to be the initial task on his agenda, one that he would never revisit. Never. He had a steadfast conviction that retribution against the Pack was unjustifiable, even if it meant sacrificing his own life. These people in question were deemed as loathsome criminals. Monstrous beings have taken on the guise of a Pack.

As he strode out of his apartment near the Sun Forest Pack's Company, Acker whispered to himself, "You have the power to become anything you desire."

The Leonidas Group of Companies, a renowned organization, aimed to serve as a catalyst for Acker's triumph and tranquility. As he strode out of his apartment near the Sun Forest Pack's Company, Acker whispered to himself, "You can be anything you want."

Fear had always been a constant companion, but dwelling on past experiences would surely hinder his progress towards the present. For countless years, he has toiled away tirelessly, relying solely on his own innate abilities to see him through. Accustomed to solitude, he found himself unperturbed by its presence.

A taxi screeched to a stop directly before him. Without hesitation, he leapt inside. As he settled into the backseat of the taxi, he fought to steady his trembling hands and quell the beads of sweat forming on his brow.

Summoning his resolve, he spoke to the driver in a firm voice, "To the Leonidas Group of Companies, please..."

In just an hour's time, the Alpha of the Sun Forest Pack will summon him forth. Yet, at this very moment, his system is undoubtedly experiencing a malfunction. He let out a long exhale, having first taken a deep breath.

He stood at a modest five-foot-four, not particularly towering over those around him. Compared to his fellow men, he was diminutive in stature. Acker remained unperturbed, so long as he could lead a contented existence.

In a mere fifteen minutes, the taxi arrived at its destination. Acker promptly settled his fare and made his way into the company's premises for a quick inspection. He strode confidently towards the front desk.

"Good morning, Madam," he greeted with a polite nod. "I am here to conduct a business interview with the Boss," he emphasized, his tone professional and confident.

The receptionists were keenly aware of the topic of his discussion. A code had been dispatched to Acker and his associates, designed to prevent any suspicion from arising amongst the human population.

"Follow me, Sir," the woman beckoned, leading Ackerly towards the elevator. "The boss' floor is located on the tenth floor, and his secretary is eagerly anticipating your arrival," she informed him. Ackerly responded with a courteous smile and a nod of acknowledgement.

As he stepped into the elevator, the doors slid shut with a soft hiss. The ascent to the tenth floor was smooth and swift, the gentle hum of the machinery providing a soothing background noise. As the elevator ascended, he found himself unable to maintain his concentration.

Acker's desperation to relieve himself and quench his thirst was palpable. In an instant, his body was overcome with dehydration. The man exuded an air of complete unconcern, seemingly oblivious to the events unfolding around him.

As the elevator doors slid open on the tenth floor, Acker stepped out with purpose. He took a deep breath, allowing himself a moment to collect his scattered thoughts. The moment he stepped out the door, his heart rate quickened. He inhaled deeply.

He muttered under his breath, "Damn, calm down." As he drew near, he extended his hand in greeting and introduced himself to the individual whom he presumed to be the secretary.

"Please have a seat first, Sir. I will entertain you later," she said, gesturing towards the chairs in the waiting area. "There are other applicants who arrived before you. Thank you."

As he surveyed the area, it became apparent to him that no human had set foot on this floor. He leaned back in his seat, releasing a long breath of relief. Despite his inner turmoil, he managed to compose himself and offer a gentle smile to the woman.

Questions raced through his mind. The looming question remained: what would occur if they were to decline him? The thought lingered in her mind like a dark cloud, casting a shadow over every other possibility. What if they had taken his life?

The mere idea sent shivers down his spine, and he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in his chest. The possibility lingered in his mind: what if these were the very same ones he had encountered before?

Acker was oblivious to the fact, yet the passing years had instilled in him a sense of caution towards any wolves that roamed in his close proximity. Had it not been for the council, he would have much rather been excluded than feign interest in joining this Pack.

As soon as the secretary inquired about his identity, he rose from his seat. Ackerly Ciro Galeno approached the she-wolf with a confident stride.

"Good morning again, Ma'am," he greeted her, his voice clear and unwavering. "My name is Ackerly Ciro Galeno, and I have come to interview the Alpha."

Despite the beads of sweat that had formed on her forehead, the woman managed to maintain her composure and engage him in conversation with poise and charm. As she perused the parchment pages splayed out before her on the table, she met his gaze with unwavering intensity.

"I am sorry. Can you kindly resume your seat in one of the chairs provided again? The Alpha is presently engaged in an interview with another candidate. Rest assured, I shall notify you promptly upon the conclusion of their meeting," stated the secretary.

With a courteous smile, Acker acknowledged the woman's gesture and proceeded again to take a seat in the chair she had kindly indicated for him. He sat in stillness, attuned to the rhythmic thump of his own heart.

From that moment on, the man had come to accept the truth about himself - that he was, in fact, a coward. Though it was a bitter pill to swallow, he had no choice but to come to terms with this realization.

His vulnerability made him an easy target for exploitation by those around him. In the darkness, he cowered, consumed by an overwhelming sense of terror. He trembles at the mere thought of how his actions and words might be perceived by those around him.

The fear of judgment and disapproval from others grips him tightly, leaving him in a constant state of unease. Acker made no allusion to desiring a mate. He yearned for a reason to exist, for a purpose to fulfill, but alas, he could not find one.

Thus, he clung to life simply because it was all he knew. Thus, the lack of interest from his parents towards him is evident. He likes males over ladies most of the time. The revelation of his attraction to males does not necessarily indicate that he is of the ilk of homosexuals who are forthright about their sexual proclivities.

He felt a sense of satisfaction in the knowledge that he was a recognizable figure to all. From a young age, the weight of societal expectations based on his gender bore down upon him, shaping his very being and sense of identity.

The constant judgment and scrutiny he faced left an indelible mark on his personality, influencing every aspect of his life. Acker let out a deep sigh and remained still for a full half hour.

Unperturbed, he remained fixated on the entrance to the office. The man's teeth clenched as he bit down on his lower lip. Throughout the duration of the event, he remained rigid in his chair, exhibiting a palpable sense of unease.

Ever since he set foot on this floor, he felt an inexplicable pull towards it. All non-essential activities have come to a halt. Should he persist on this path, he would undoubtedly put himself in peril.

His nerves taut like a bowstring, seized the opportunity to depart as the office door swung open with sudden force. As the secretary rose gracefully from her seat, she called out to Ackerly.

"Alpha Killan awaits you, Mr. Galeno. Please proceed into the office. Thank you for you patience," she announced.

Acker's lips curled upward into a smile as he took a deep breath and approached the door. With a steady hand, he grasped the handle and pulled it open, revealing the space beyond for the very first time. Cold sweat drenched his body.

He nibbled on his bottom lip before stepping inside. The cold caused his hands to become numb. Acker had entered the room with a solemn demeanor, his head bowed in deference. He remained in that position, a picture of quiet contemplation.

The submissive gesture of a head bow was a clear indication that he had no intention of offending the Alpha in any manner.

As he stepped into the room, a tantalizing scent wafted towards him, enveloping him in its warm embrace. He drew a long breath into his lungs, then expelled it with a powerful force, clearing his throat.

In an instant, the wolf within him let out a fierce howl, the word "mate" echoing through his mind with an urgent intensity. His wolf let out a euphoric cry, excited to meet their mate.

Acker's hand instinctively clenched as the news reached his ears, taking him by surprise. He remained motionless, his gaze fixed on the ground before him, not even bothering to lift his head.

He was intimately familiar with the Alpha, for there existed but a singular presence within. He let out a long, slow breath. The grim fate that awaited him was none other than execution.

A momentary hush fell over the chamber before any further action could be taken. Acker's stance remained unwavering over the course of time.

'Goodness!' He screamed silently within his mind. The sensation of unease permeated the air, enveloping him in its palpable grip. Acker had already prognosticated the course of events that would unfold next.

He closed his eyes, allowing his mind to wander back to the countless conversations he had shared with his parents over the years. Their words echoed in his thoughts, each one a nightmare he doesn't want to remember.

He retreated a pace, ready to depart, but the Alpha's command halted him in his tracks. Acker's pupils dilated as he comprehended the situation.

He struggled to recollect the events that had transpired, but his mind drew a blank. The only memory that lingered was that of Alpha Killan's overpowering presence, pinning him against the wall and choking him mercilessly.

"Do you realize that you are my mate?" he asked, his voice low and intense. "Under no circumstances should you divulge this information to anyone

else!" With a menacing snarl, the Alpha directed his gaze towards him.

With a nod, Acker coughed on his saliva. How had he managed to instill such a profound sense of terror in his mate? Killan's eyes were so frightful that Acker couldn't help but feel a wave of nausea wash over him.

"Should I discover that you have betrayed what I have said and shared this information with another soul, you will rue the day you were born, you despicable excuse for a human being. I will see to it personally that you are dealt with, and your final resting place will be in the cold, dark earth." The Alpha bellowed with fury.

Acker cleared his throat before nodding with great enthusiasm. With a solemn gesture, he lowered his head in deference to the Alpha's unquestionable power. With limited options at his disposal, he reluctantly acquiesces.

No matter where his journey takes him or whom he encounters on his path, he remains utterly powerless to take action. No one would acknowledge his gender or identity. He knew deep down that his true identity was that of a woman, even though his physical form was that of a man.

The realization that no one, not even his beloved soul mate, would be able to embrace his authentic self weighed heavily on his heart. A bitter grin twisted his lips, but it was a cruel expression directed inwardly, solely at himself.

With a heavy heart, he gazed out into the world, feeling as though he was all alone. The bitter sting of rejection had left him with little hope for finding love.

Yet, fate had other plans, and he found himself drawn to a man who seemed to be his perfect match. However, the cruel irony of life was not lost on him, as this man too was turning his back on him, just like his loved ones had done in the past.

With a stern voice, Alpha Killan Raiden Leonidas, the Alpha of the Sun Forest Pack, declared, "I, Alpha Killan Raiden Leonidas, hereby reject you as my mate."
