His Little Omega Turns Into Mighty Luna

Author: : Bleeding pen.
Genre: Werewolf
Ever since I got into this pack, I was always treated like the slave I am despite being adopted by Luna when I was little. I had no memories of my full life and all I could remember was 10 years ago when I stumbled upon this very pack house, looking pale and hungry as I entered into one of the rooms which happened to be the Luna's chamber. I raided it in search of food to eat and even I finally saw food that was perhaps kept for the Luna to eat, I began to eat the cooked rice with my dirty hands. Yes, I looked very dirty and smelling. It was stealing, though, because I was in a strange place, taking what wasn't mine and ever since then, they took me in but I realised the alpha and his luna were not merciful to the core. I could remember the day Chloe had a bad day at school, the moment she came back, she vented it on me. Splashing water to the floor and accusing me of doing so, saying to her parents I intentionally wanted her to fall and injure herself. This wasn't the first time she tried to do things to get me punished. It was so obvious she devives joy seeing me in pain.

Chapter 1 1

Nora's POV

I felt something cold splash on me as I quickly jolted awake. Opening my eyes, I saw Chloe standing in front of me with a bottle of cold water. "Sleepy head!" She called out, gazing at me in a disgusted manner. "What do you want?" I asked.

"You dare talk back at me?" She questioned as she held my wrist and pulled me off the bed. "I need a massage," she replied as my eyes fell on the wall clock, seeing it was already 2AM. "Ok my princess."

"I need it now!" I nodded. And we made our way to her chambers. I knelt and began to massage her feet while she lay comfortably on the bed. I would mostly doze off and almost fall, but would end up opening my eyes, trying to stay awake. Living and staying here was hell. The only friend I had was my wolf, Aria, and my fated mate, Jackson, who loves and cares for me secretly because I was a maid, and he was saving himself from the shame. What would an alpha like him be doing with someone like me. He is my peace, my happiness, and I couldn't wait to finally become his Luna.

Suddenly, there was a loud scream as I quickly opened my eyes from sleep. The sunlight streaming through Chloe's window made me rub my eyes as I realised it was dawn and I was still in Chloe's room. My head was resting on her bed while my knees were on the floor. I must have fallen asleep while massaging her feet. Chloe's loud and angry voice cut through, "Don't tell me you spent the night in my room!"

Before I could say a word, she yanked me out of the bed. "You pig!" Her words made me move backward, away from her. "You stink! You don't want to ruin my birthday with your body odour, do you?" She questioned, and I shook my head, feeling the weight of her insults. "Get lost!" She shouted, and I ran out of the room.

After quickly taking a shower, I joined the rest of the maids in preparing for Chloe's birthday party. During the party, my eyes fell on my mate, looking handsome as ever. He approached me and took my hand, walking forward. "What are you doing?" I whispered shyly, hopeful that he was finally going to introduce me to everyone as his mate.

Reaching a spot, we stopped, and he spoke loudly, capturing everyone's attention. "Hello everyone! I have something to say." His words drew the focus of the guests. "I, Alpha Jackson Ville, only son of his late father, alpha of the Dark Eyes Pack, hereby reject Nora as my mate."

What? My heart sank, and I felt a wave of disbelief wash over me. "Alpha," I called out, hoping for an explanation, but it fell on deaf ears. "She's my mate, but an alpha like me can't be with a lowly maid!" He declared, leaving the room in stunned silence. "I hereby take Chloe as my second chance mate!" No one reacted, obviously they weren't surprised about the rejection.

But Chloe? He is choosing Chloe? My mind couldn't comprehend it. Instantly, tears streamed down my face as I watched Chloe approach with a smile, kissing Jackson on the lips. Did he really do this to me? Was he forced? I couldn't understand why he would reject me in such a public and humiliating way.

With tears blurring my vision, I turned and ran out of the party, into my room. I shut the door behind me, trying to process the betrayal and heartache that consumed me. It was a pain unlike any other, the ache of a shattered dream and a broken heart.

No matter how hard I tried to prove my innocence, I still got punished, flogged and even locked up in a room without food and water for days that I wished for death but didn't come. I couldn't even cry out my pain because I had no energy in me. Where should I get the energy to cry when I have been starving for days in a locked room? I was just pale, not blinking my eyes, with weak legs and a weak body as I laid on the bare floor of the room, folding myself, my body unmoving. In fact, I was half dead. Only my eyes were open but they were slowly dying

All I have always experienced here was pain! Later that night, shattered, I made my way from the back door, running to no destination when suddenly I halted in front of a nearby nightclub. The different colours of light shone in every direction as I walked in. I ordered different alcoholic drinks and gulping them all, not minding the later effects. As I sat at the bar, lost in my thoughts, my eyes drifted to a stranger walking towards me.

He looked dangerous yet strangely alluring. Tattoos adorned his arms, and his piercing green eyes bore into mine. His voice was deep as he greeted me, "Hello, how much do you charge for a night." Despite his rugged appearance, there was something intriguing about him.

I tried to brush him off, not in the mood for conversation, but he persisted.

"I'll pay 10,000 for the night." His thick voice sounded again.

His charm slowly breaking through my defences as I gazed up at him, giving him a smile and I could tell the alcohol was taking its place on me.

As the night wore on, I couldn't recall how we ended up leaving the club together, or how we stumbled into a room. When I awoke the next day, the reality of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks.

"What have you done?" I demanded, seeing myself naked on the bed, my voice tinged with panic. "Did you touch me?"

The stranger remained silent, standing at the window side with his cold gaze fixated outside through the window, his stoic expression sending shivers down my spine. Without a word, I gathered my clothes and put them on and hastily made my way out of the room, the events of the night before haunting me like a dark cloud.

As I walked away from the stranger, the thought of experiencing one pain to another hit me. I was running away from everyone at the pack house to numb my pain and now these? I had always wanted to be disvirgined by my fated mate but now it happened this way, I know and I'm convinced I am indeed cursed.

Chapter 2 2

Nora's POV

I was in my room, when suddenly, Luna, Chloe's mother, walked in with a wedding gown, throwing it at me. "Get ready. You are getting married." She said as she walked out, not waiting to hear whatever I have to say.

I am getting married? To whom? And why?

Shortly, Chloe walked in smiling wickedly. "My mother has asked me to assist you. At least that's all I can do to wish you a farewell into married life." She said,

Hurry up, did you even bathe!" Chloe blurted out as her eyes looked up to me.

I quickly entered the shower and returned as soon as possible.

My wedding gown looked so beautiful even though Chloe made it look as if I was wearing a rag. Of course, it should look like a rag to her because her parents, the Alpha and the Luna of Dark Heart Park would definitely get her something better. On the other hand, this was the first time I was given such a beautiful dress, coupled with the fact that it was new. The dresses I wore were half-worn dresses of Chloe and Luna would give it to me whenever they were really worn out. Most times, they give it to me when it's already torn.

On second thought, Luna didn't see anyone to assist me get ready for my wedding but decided to tell her spoiled child to help. Ever since she came into my room, all she did was sit and press her phone while I got ready all by myself. I was almost ready, and let me describe how I looked.

I was without makeup but still looked beautiful even though I looked unhealthy due to the lack of good food. My brows were naturally carved, my lashes were naturally long and full. My nose are pointed and my lips were naturally pink but it was my eyes that I loved more. My Iris were naturally red and my pupils were black. Most times, people who get to see me the first time often compliment my beauty. In addition, my collar bone was visible in the eyes, obviously that I wasn't eating well. Yeah, I am so skinny that the handle of my wedding gown slipped off my shoulders and I would drag it back up, not minding because I knew my place in this pack.

As I stood there in my wedding gown, Chloe continued to mock me as she stared at me while I tried to tie my hair by myself in French waves, giving it a messy look.

"Look at this pathetic excuse for a bride. Who would even want to marry someone like you? You're nothing but a lowly maid, and that's all you'll ever be. I'm sure the groom would reject you as soon as he finds out who my father was giving out to him for marriage." Her words stung, but I held back my tears.

"You have no make up on. You didn't even put a blush on your cheek." Her words were followed with a devil smirk as she dropped her phone and walked towards me. She held my cheeks with her both hands, squeezing them so tightly while I winced in pain and it was obvious she was enjoying it. Her cold eyes bored me. I could hear my wolf roar in anger but I tried to block it off, avoiding causing trouble on my wedding day. My wolf was just one month old. It appeared last month on my 18th birthday while I was in my room crying my eyes out, no one wished me a happy birthday. I didn't know I had a wolf. In fact I had lost all hope but thanks to my wolf Aria, whose presence has comforted me. Though, I haven't shifted. I just couldn't wait to see what my wolf would look like. Ever since my wolf visited, there was this sudden strength I get to fight back whoever tries to maltreat me but today was a special day. I rather not ruin it.

"There you go." Chloe's words were followed by the release of her hands from my cheeks. I looked at the mirror only to see them turn red. My white skin was sensitive, so sensitive that it reacts to every touch.

"Everyone is waiting, cheap. bride." Her words were followed by a mocking laugh as she walked out of my room, heading towards the ceremony ground I guess.

At this point, I never stopped wondering who they were marrying me off to.

I took a deep breath in and out, trying to calm myself as I wiped the tears that formed in my eyes with my palms. Once ready and looking like nothing happened, I walked out of my room, walking towards the corridor leading to the main hall when suddenly, a hand gripped me. It was tight and painful. I turned to see the alpha, Chloe's father. He pulled me closer, his eyes were speaking warnings. "Do not let your crocodile tears ruin things for me." His words, thick, husky and emotionless.

His grip on me tightened even more as he dragged me by the wrist and pulling me as I walked alongside him. "Since you have no father, I'll do you good by walking you down." Just as he whispered those code words, the gigantic door began to open in front of us as we walked in.

"Mate! "Mate!" I heard my wolf cry out as I wondered who it was but then, I didn't let that bother me. I waved it off while I continued to walk beside the alpha who thinks he was doing me a favour by walking me down the aisle, standing in the place of my father. I had no chief bridesmaid, no maid of honour. I was just alone. It was as if they were giving me up to a low class mate. Yes! Chloe was right. No powerful sweet looking alpha would want me, an omega who lacks health.

There were no much people in the wedding hall. It was just Chloe, Luna, the alpha king and the old priest.

Instantly, I perceived it, the scent, it was so intoxicating as my head was about to spin.

Just then, my eyes fell on a stranger, standing near the priest. He was 7 ft tall, muscular, huge and there were tattoos drawn on every side of his body that it was obvious in the eyes despite him being in a black luxurious suit. The three first up buttons of his white shirt were opened, showing his hairy and attractive chest.

I felt my jaw drop as I realised he was the same stranger I had a one night stand with last night. Fear gripped me, afraid that he would reject me and expose me to everyone, calling me a whore.

Chapter 3 3

Nora's POV

"Mate!" I heard my wolf Aria roar again and this time it caught my attention.

"Where? He is our mate?" I questioned and I heard my wolf reply a yes in excitement.

"I'll take it from here," a thick and husky voice brought me back to reality as I stared at the voice owner. His cold and emotionless eyes caught mine as I studied his face, feeling more nervous, realising he indeed recognized me. His hands tangled with mine, leading me down the aisle towards the altar. As we walked, all I could do was stare at his face, my heart beating rapidly. Was I really about to marry this man? Why will the moon goddess give me such a cold mate? He looked so cold, and I couldn't help but wonder why he was alone. Did he have no parents, no servants, not even a guard?

Reaching the altar, the priest began the vow-taking ceremony as he spoke out loudly. "Hello everyone, I am glad to be here. We begin. By the power vested on me, do you take Nora... " he swallowed as he looked at my mate's cold gaze. He was supposed to add my surname but since I had none, he continued. "Do you take Nora of the dark heart pack as your mate?" And there was a collective intake of breath as he looked me up and down before replying with a simple "yes." The tension in the room dissipated as everyone released their collective breath, surprised that he had accepted me, a lowly maid as I felt our mate bond intensify.

Then it was my turn. The priest turned to me. "Nora of the dark heart pack, do you accept Maverick, Blackwood, Alpha of the Black heart pack as your mate?"

Alpha Maverick? This murderer? This cruel man? So he is the one? This was the first time I got to see him in person even though I met him at the club with no knowledge he was the one. I only heard about him. No way. No wonder Chloe wasn't bothered or even feeling jealous to see the kind of rich and handsome alpha I was getting married to.

As I heard his name, realising his true identity as a murderer, I hesitated. I couldn't say a yes or a no.

"Please, don't reject him." My wolf, Aria, begged me.

Marrying him was like moving from frying pan to fire. The dark heart pack had already done enough to me and now I'm getting married to the alpha of the blackwood pack?

"Please don't reject him. You can't stay here in this dark heart pack, you have endured enough'' My wolf Aria begged again with a sobbing voice as she continued. Maybe she's right. "He may be cruel but his wolf..." the priest's words cut in.

The priest asked me again as his voice brought me out of my dazed state.

"Nora of the dark heart pack, do you accept Maverick Blackwood, alpha of the black heart pack as your mate?"

"Ye... yes." I stuttered out a reluctant "yes." I replied as I swallowed and tears dropped from my eyes as I realised I had sealed my fate.

Next, the priest was about to declare us husband and wife when my cruel mate stopped him with his cold words.

"There will be no need for that." His cold words got everyone thinking.

Suddenly, he held my hands firmly, his grip tight but not painful as we began to walk towards his luxurious car parked outside. I followed him, my heart heavy with uncertainty and fear.

Finally, unable to bear it any longer, I spoke up. "Why did you agree to marry me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

He glanced at me briefly, his expression unreadable. "Get into the car." He ordered as he opened the back car door for me. The moment I sat, he followed as his driver drove off the car.

The car moved for a couple of minutes as Alpha Maverick's cold expression remained the same as I decided to break the silence.

"You didn't kiss me." I ventured, trying to break through his icy demeanour.

His eyes were still focused and didn't bother to stare at me. It was obvious my question fell on a deaf ear even though I knew he heard me so clearly but didn't not answer.

"You didn't kiss..." he interrupted.

"You didn't get the opportunity to look at yourself in a mirror back in the dark heart pack?" His voice was thick and husky, sending shivers down my spine with its coldness as his eyes still didn't look in my direction.

I swallowed nervously, feeling the weight of his words. He was right, of course. I was just a mere maid, unworthy of the attention of a man like him. Yet, there was a part of me that longed for even the smallest bit of tenderness from him. Why was I even concerned about his affection? I shouldn't have questioned.

The silence lingered between us once more, heavy and stifling. The car continued to glide along the road, the landscape passing by in a blur of greens and browns.

After what seemed like an eternity, his voice broke the quiet as he picked up his ringing phone. "We are almost there. We just passed the border," he spoke into his phone, his tone clipped. As he ended the call, I sensed a flicker of excitement in my wolf, Aria.

"We finally left the Dark Heart Pack. We are free!" Aria's voice echoed in my head, her excitement palpable.

But as I gazed out through the tinted door glass, my heart sank. Yes, physically we may have left the Dark Heart Pack behind, but I knew all too well that our new life with Alpha Maverick was far from a simple escape.

The car finally drove into a gigantic and luxurious driveway as it parked at the packing slot where other luxurious cars were packed.

As we stepped out of the car and into the imposing structure, I realised it was already night. My eyes widened in awe as I saw It was a towering four-storey building, grand and intimidating in its sheer size and elegance, painted with white. The crisp air of the new territory filled my lungs, and I felt a flutter of nerves and anticipation in my chest.

"He is so rich!" My wolf exclaimed the moment I looked around and saw different luxurious cars of different colours and brands being parked at their spot.

Alpha Maverick's thick, husky and cold voice cut through the air once more, commanding my attention. "Welcome to your new home," he stated, his voice betraying nothing of his thoughts or emotions. It was as if he were simply stating a fact, devoid of any warmth or sentiment.

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever was to come. "Thank you," I managed to say, my voice small and timid in comparison to his commanding presence.

His gaze lingered on me for a moment, his eyes searching mine as if probing for something deeper. Then, without another word, he turned and began walking towards the entrance of the grand building. I had perhaps thought he would open the doors for me as he did earlier.

I followed him, my heart racing with a mixture of fear and curiosity. What awaited me inside this new life as the Luna to a man as enigmatic and formidable as Alpha Maverick?

As we entered the building, I was greeted by a grand hall adorned with opulent luxurious statues.

Alpha Maverick led me through the hallways, his footsteps echoing against the polished marble floors. Finally, we reached a room at the end of a long corridor. The door creaked open, revealing a spacious chamber bathed in soft candlelight.

We stepped into the room, taking in the sight of a small altar at the centre, adorned with fresh flowers and flickering candles. Standing beside the altar was an old man in traditional priestly robes, his expression serene and welcoming.

Alpha Maverick approached the priest, his gaze unwavering. "You can perform the ritual." he said, his tone respectful yet tinged with authority.

Ritual?

The priest nodded in acknowledgement of Maverick's words, his eyes shifting to me as I stood nervously by Alpha Maverick's side.

The priest cleared his throat, his voice calm and soothing. "Welcome, my child." he began as I watched Alpha Maverick walk away, leaving me with the priest.

"Welcome to the Black Heart Park. It's time to perform the ritual to welcome you officially as one of us. He added.

Just then, the priest started the ritual. No one came in to disrupt it as it was just I and the priest. The soft glow of candlelight illuminated the small, sacred space where the ceremony was taking place. The priest's deep voice resonated through the room as he began chanting ancient words that I couldn't quite understand.

The priest then handed me a small goblet filled with a mysterious liquid. "This is meant only for the Luna of this pack." he explained, his eyes holding a mixture of reverence and solemnity. "Since you are now the Luna, you should drink it."

I couldn't shake off the feeling of fear as I wondered what the liquid would do to me. I brought the goblet to my lips and took a sip, feeling a warm energy spread through me as I swallowed. The liquid tasted both sweet and bitter.

The priest then turned his attention to a small altar adorned with symbolic objects. Candles shun lights, casting dancing shadows on the walls as he lit incense and sprinkled herbs around the space.

"You have been chosen to stand by his side, to guide and support him in all things," the priest intoned, his voice steady. "May the strength of your love and devotion be a beacon in the darkness of this pack."

After the sacred symbols had been blessed and the incantations spoken, the priest turned back to me with a warm smile. "You have now officially joined the Black Heart Pack," he said, his eyes kind and knowing. "May your bond be unbreakable and your love endure all challenges."
