The calendar showed the month of October, welcoming the autumn. Shedding leaves, trees, and also humans in her life.
The deadly, uttered silence was something to worry about. Gripping the bag strap tightly, as if her life depended on it, she marched faster. The creepy sound of dead leaves played a few emotions in her, one emotion called fear. Stepping alone on the deserted side of the road, finding her way back home, she increased her pace.
She spent her entire childhood wandering here and there with her group of people called a family, who barely loved her.Being a girl, hoping to be loved is something that is fulfilled by chance.
The girl, Wafa, had a terrifying encounter as she tried to escape from a group of goons who had just shot and killed a man in front of her. Shaking with fear, Wafa managed to find temporary refuge behind a black Mercedes at a railway station. Desperate to evade the goons and praying for her safety, she hoped they would not find her.
Meanwhile, a man named Ehab, who possessed wealth, looks, and status but had a questionable character, groaned about the idea of traveling by train. During a phone call, Ehab and the girl on the other end exchanged heated words, with the man insisting that the girl should come with him. She pleaded with him, using terms of endearment, and Ehab eventually agree, reveling in the power of being begged.
After ending the call, He moved to his well-built, modern bathroom with all the modern-designed items. Taking a relaxing shower, he closed his eyes, letting the water flow through his body. After he was done with his shower, he wrapped a white towel around his waist. He then took out a clean white shirt with blue denim and quickly put it on, while also styling his hair with gel.
Resting his extremely expensive watch on his strong, yet hairy wrist, he grabbed his car keys and drove his Mercedes to the destination.Breaking the rules, he parked in a non-parking area and casually scrolled on his phone.
After some time, he noticed a girl attempting to hide in his car. Intrigued by her presence and amused by her fear, Ehab approached her, referring to her as "kitten" and asking if they were playing hide and seek. The girl was captivated by Ehab's handsome appearance, but before she could say anything, she pleaded for him to save her and then fainted, leaving Ehab perplexed. It seems that fate has brought these two individuals together under uncertain circumstances.
Scooping her small form in his strong arms, he straightened up. Looking around for his one and only girlfriend, he sighed in dejection. Placing her small form on the last seat, he himself got in the passenger seat, driving back to his mansion. On his way back to his mansion, he caught a glimpse of her unconscious form several times through the rearview mirror.
Reaching his lavish mansion, he parked his Mercedes, his baby. He swiftly took her in his arms and marched inside. His men, his bodyguards, eyed him surprisingly as he had never lifted a woman, let alone his current girlfriend.
Dashing to a guest room, he gently tucked her into bed, analyzing her innocent face. Her pale skin made him frown. He felt an urge to caress the small scar on the left side of her cheek. He shook his head, mentally groaning.
"What the hell is wrong with you!? Damn it, Ehab! You went to pick up your girlfriend, not just any random woman!" He cursed himself. He rubbed his face frustratingly. Meanwhile, the door burst open, revealing his girlfriend, Nancy.
"What the hell!? Ehab? You betrayed me?" She yelled unbelievingly with all her fake tears ready to drop every now and then.
Ehab groaned he hates when people yell especially at him.
"Come down, woman. Will you? And there is nothing to betray you we are not in a serious relationship. You know that," he said, rolling his eyes.
She gasped dramatically, making him raise one eyebrow handsomely yet perfectly.
"Stop your drama before I throw you out," he said, making her puff out her cheeks.
"Move out, now," he commanded, making her leave while stomping her feet.He turned back before leaving the room, looked at Wafa, and locked the door behind him.
He dashed downstairs to his study, pulling a cigar between his pink yet soft lips. He puffed it.His eyes casted at the small picture frame kept at the side of the table. An adorable, heart-melting smile captured his lips.
Gripping the frame in his one hand, he caressed the picture."Welcome back, kitten," he whispered with a smirk and a sly smile.
While here, Wafa groaned, feeling the softness of the mattress. She stirred on the bed, trying to open her eyes. Blinking numerous times she adjusted looking here and there. Finding herself in a cozy and beautifully designed room, she panicked. She gasped loudly when she witnessed a bulldog sitting on the floor. Gripping the hem of her dress in her small fists, she found herself breathing heavily.
The dog decided to check upon her. Moving from the carpet, the dog jumped on the bed, making her yell loudly with pure horror, and she quickly jumped off the bed.Hearing her scream, Ehab was alert. He quickly rushed upstairs to the guestroom.
As he entered the room, he couldn't help but chuckle at her state. His bulldog, sorry, his Duke, was licking her feet while she was sobbing hard and mumbling, "God!!! Please save me!! Please, I'll be a good girl," she mumbled while Ehab smiled charmingly at her words. She was too cute!
He bent down and called his buddy, Akka Duke."Duke, no, leave her," he called, and Duke ran towards him, licking his face.
"Duke, stop. Go out now," he commanded, and Duke obeyed.Ehab turned to Wafa, who was sniffing louder. He rolled his eyes at her antics.
"Calm down, woman, before I call him back. Shall I call him back?" he teased, sitting on the couch and spreading his legs. She panicked and shook her head.
"Please, please don't. I request you, please," she said, joining her hands. He gave a curt nod, scanning her small figure. She was nearly around 18-19. Pale skin, black hair, hazel eyes, a small button-like nose, and those pouty lips
.She felt vulnerable and exposed under his strong gaze. She shifted in her spot and fidgeted with her fingers as she asked, "Where am I?"
"At my mansion, kitten," he said, eyeing her with his dark eyes. That shook her soul. "I have to go," she said meekly, standing on her two feet.
He chuckled, smirking and tapping his fingers on his thigh. He smiled evilly, saying, "People come here as per my wish and also leave as per my wish!" He said dangerously yet calmly.
She shivered, her eyes widened at his dark eyes and those dangerous words. His voice seemed to be dripping with hatred. And that smirk made shivers run down her spine.
He took a step closer to her, and she moved back until her back hit the wall. He leaned closer, causing her to close her eyes. Her breathing turned heavier as his strong cologne hit her nostrils, making all her nerves sense a man close to her. He was so close, breaking her personal space for the first time. She had never been this close to a man before.
Her heartbeats quickened, making her breath more rigid. She fisted her floral dress in her small fists, while he smirked evilly. Ducking his head into her neckline, he sniffed her fragrance. She shivered, feeling uncomfortable.
Taking a deep breath, he smiled handsomely, so charming that girls would swoon over him. "You smell so wonderful, cupcake. I wonder how you taste," he asked innocently yet dangerously, whispering in her ear. Goosebumps appeared on her body, and she gasped in horror, covering her mouth to stifle her own sob.
He chuckled at her naivety, and tears started rolling down her eyes.
She tried to wiggle from his hold. He held her tightly. So tightly that it would leave a blue mark for sure on her soft yet fair skin. Wafa was always a beautiful girl with looks."The more you try to escape, the more you will be trapped, Habun," he whispered, caressing her soft, tiny chin with his rough and long fingers. She looked at him with confusion. What does Habun means?
She sobbed harder, and he smirked evilly. She looked so tiny in front of him, with her pale skin and endless tears. He smirked satisfactorily at her tears. His cruelty shone through his dark eyes. He was so engrossed in her innocent, pure look that he couldn't hear his phone ringing for the past five minutes.
He was so captivated by her beauty that he didn't notice his PA entering the room. Wafa gasped at the sight of another man, quickly ducking her head and turning away. She hid her small form from his lustful gaze.
Ehab looked around in confusion, his eyes widening when he saw his PA eyeing Wafa with pure lust. He gritted his teeth. His PA gulped with fear, feeling his boss's soul-ripping gaze on himself. He composed himself, trying to suppress his sinful thoughts and adjust his partner down there. Ehab turned to him with dangerous glares.
"Good morning, boss. Mr. Duraani is asking for your visit at the hotel," he said in a professional yet stammering tone.
Ehab gave a curt nod, commanding his PA to leave. Ehab smirked at his small new toy, who wasn't even looking at him.
"Take rest, Habun. I will be back soon," he said, tracing two fingers on her shoulder, making her flinch. She felt disgusted and unsafe, feeling so vulnerable. She just wanted the mother earth to swallow her alive.
Ehab clenched his jaw and balled his fists as he strolled downstairs. His men stiffened as they noticed his clenched jaw, knowing that their boss was about to unleash his anger on something or someone. Before Ehab could face any consequences, his girlfriend appeared wearing a tight, short dress that exposed her beyond the limits. Ehab rolled his eyes at her, unimpressed. She sensually licked her lips and batted her eyelashes, seductively gripping his hand and sliding it to her waist. "It's been months since we spent some romantic time, Ehab baby," she said seductively, whispering in his ear. He tightly gripped her waist, so tightly that he could have squeezed until she was dead.
Ehab gave the most boring look and she frowned, feeling disheartened. Frowning at her own attempt to melt him to gain his attention, she felt embarrassed when he left her and said with a pure boring tone, "Stay away, I have work to finish. I'll hang up later," he said boringly, grabbing his Mercedes key. He marched out, putting on his shades - his black shades that gave him the final touch to his so hot look.
His maids were ogling him seductively. He seemed to be a delicious piece of meat to be tasted by each one. The maids licked their lips seductively and moaned at his one glare. The other one smirked and purposely dropped the flower basket in front of his car, as they had just come back from the garden area, plucking the fresh flowers.
The second maid knew he was eyeing her. His jaw clenched at her stupid seductive antics, while she bent down, purposely showing off her cleavage. He mentally chuckled and shook his head. She smirked and stood up in such a way that his gaze went to her buttocks.
"Once a whore, always a whore," he thought, shaking his head as he sat in the passenger seat, trying to bring life to the dead engine of his Mercedes found running on the road.
Meanwhile, Wafa was terrified by a sudden encounter with this beast. She was sobbing hard, hugging her knees near her chest, shivering even at the thought of him. She covered her ears with her palms as his sinful words rang in her ears, making her feel so vulnerable. She sobbed one last time and wiped away her tears. "I should return home soon. I can't stay here," she mumbled to herself, gathering all her courage.
She stood up, still shivering, her vision blurred from crying for such a long time. She blinked her eyelashes to adjust her blurry vision. Her small button nose had turned red, and she looked exhausted. She scanned the room and found its theme so colorful. She slowly took a step ahead and caressed the shiny painted wall.
As she scanned each corner of the room, the wind decided to play with her.
The cold breeze peeked into the room, trying to reach her, swiping away the curtains. The cold breeze revolved around her, making her gasp as she was wearing a cotton floral dress. She felt cold and wrapped her own arms around herself. Goosebumps appeared on her skin. The sudden shuffling sound brought her back to reality.
There stood a lady with a small plate of fruit salad. She seemed to be in her mid-50s. She had grey hair and was dressed up like a maiden. The warmth radiating from her made Wafa panic a little less. "Hello, pretty lady. I am sure you must be tired. Sit down, honey," the old lady said politely. Wafa couldn't help but melt at her sweet tone. She seemed to be the only human here, but what was she doing here? Is she his mother?
Wafa puzzled with questions, biting her lower lip nervously as she peeked at the lady, who smiled warmly.
,
The old lady smiled warmly and neatly kept the fruit-sliced plate, presenting it to her. Wafa innocently blinked her eyes, fisting her dress. The nervousness was so visible on her face. The old lady smiled at her innocence and asked politely, "Honey, what's your name?"
"Wafa," she mumbled, fidgeting with her fingers and casting her eyes down. The lady squealed and caressed her hair, saying, "What a lovely name! Won't you ask my name?" The lady asked, acting all sad. Wafa chuckled cutely at her words and asked in her honey-coated voice, "What's your name?" Her voice seemed so soothing to the ears.
"Amanda, I have been a maiden here for the last 30 years. Come on, have these fruits. You seem too weak," Amanda said worriedly. Wafa ducked her head down, embarrassed by her poor status. She slowly had two apple pieces without saying a word. The fruits were fresh, juicy, and melted in her mouth. She moaned at the sweetest taste. She was eating proper fruits after a very long time. She barely had any proper food.
She smiled, being thankful to the Almighty for blessing her with such tasty fruits which she barely had. Amanda stood up and asked, "Why don't you have a tour of this mansion?" She proposed the idea. Wafa chewed her lips, thinking hard. What if that beast gets angrier? But on the other hand, she wants to escape, so it's best to have a tour of this mansion. She nodded, agreeing.
"Sure, Aunt. Can I call you Aunt?" she asked innocently. Amanda squealed with excitement, "Oh, that's lovely, my child! And yes, finally, I have someone here who would call me Aunt! I always wanted to be an aunt, but alas, my fate," she said, pouting at last, making Wafa giggle. Wafa found this woman full of joy and enthusiasm. She was absolutely a carefree soul with a caring nature.
"Come, follow my lead," the woman said, singing, making Wafa chuckle more. As Amanda and Wafa strolled downstairs, Ehab's girlfriend Nancy, who was just reading a magazine after getting humiliated by Ehab, paused upon seeing the timid Wafa. She glared at her.
Glared at her as if she would eat Wafa raw, Wafa fidgeted with her fingers and bowed her head, avoiding eye contact. Nancy stood up, her heels clicking on the shining marble floor. She smirked at Wafa, scanning her from head to toe. Amanda glared at Nancy with pure hatred. She despised it when Amanda visited Ehab.
"Let's go, dear," Amanda said, gripping Wafa's small wrist and pulling her along. Wafa innocently followed Amanda, starting in the kitchen. Amanda squealed, introducing her to every maid. The workers and maids welcomed her half-heartedly. They knew Ehab had brought a girl here and suspected he was up to something.
"Isn't she beautiful?" Amanda squealed, making Wafa smile slightly.
The maids rolled their eyes and one of them said, "You need to visit an eye specialist, Amanda." The others laughed. Wafa felt humiliated. Amanda glared at them and then side-hugged Wafa. "Don't mind them, they're just unwanted humans," Amanda said, leaving the maids stunned. Wafa tried to control her smile.
Amanda giggled, leading her towards the big lounge. Wafa gasped at the expensive interior design. It was designed in Italian style with all the modernization. Wafa smiled at the portraits. She loved colors. Amanda was blabbering about how Ehab had not allowed anyone to enter here, not even Nancy. Wafa found it strange and just bobbed her head at her words.
Her eyes widened at a painting where there was a timid girl, just like her. She shivered at the painting as the girl was in the arms of a bulky, strong man holding her closer, so close that their breath must be mingling for sure. She shivered when her eyes traveled down to the waist; the grip of that man seemed too strong. He was holding her so tightly like his life depended on it. She gulped nervously as the man in the portrait was so much similar to Ehab. It resembled him in every possible way.
Amanda tapped her shoulder, making her flinch. Turning around, she gulped nervously. Her small almond-shaped face was covered with sweat now.
"Oh my God, why are you sweating, honey? Are you sick?" Amanda said, frowning and checking Wafa's temperature. Wafa shook her head. "Huh, I am fine. Can I just have a glass of water?" she asked, gulping with fear. It seemed like she was fearing to face him again. She strongly felt something between him and herself. She slowly turned back to the picture and gulped nervously.
Amanda quickly brought a glass of water. Wafa choked twice while sipping the water, taking deep breaths. Amanda caressed her back. "I think you need to rest, honey," said Amanda, worriedly. "No, I am fine. I just want to go back home. Please help me, please let me go," she said in a pleading tone.
Amanda's eyes softened as she looked at her. She caressed her cheek. "I wish I could," she mustered, looking down. Wafa's tears found their way, rolling down her cheeks as she sobbed about her fate. "Please, Aunt, let me go, please," she said, sobbing hard and requesting her. Amanda felt so bad that she couldn't help this innocent soul. "I wish I could help you" Amanda said being helpless.
Wafa frowned even more. She looked down at her palms, trying to read her fate. Why was life so cruel to her? What was her fault? Why did she always end up suffering, and that too all alone? And why couldn't she go back home? What did that beast want from her? She had multiple questions, but not a single person was there to help her with them. She felt lost in this cruel world. She wobbled her lips and cried harder. She knew she was in deep trouble, and he would surely harm her in every sense.
"Why can't I go back? I am just an ordinary girl. Just why am I stuck here?" she asked, crying hysterically. Amanda has no answers to her questions.
