CHITRAGANDHA's POV:-
I am Chitragandha Aggarwal, a 22-year-old. Today is my elder sister's wedding. She is two years older than me. Her name is Chitra Lekha, 24 years old and we somehow look alike.
If someone will see us at first glance. They'll think that we are twins but after looking at us briefly, they'll know that we aren't twins. We have the same facial features, complexions, and heights that cause people to get confused about us.
My sister is getting married today and my parents are smiling from ear to ear.
But here is a twist. My sister doesn't want to get married to the person our parents chose for her. She loves someone else and he loves her also. His parents accepted my sister but here, our parents don't want to hear anything about love and all.
In simple words, They become the villain of my sister's life or simply Villains of her love story.
I don't care about anyone or anything. I have so many problems in life to solve.
I don't share any emotional attachment with my parents or with my elder sister. Why? because they don't want a burden like me.
Yes! I am a burden on them and I don't want to remember what happened to me but here I am feeling bad; not for my sister but for that boy because he loves my sister. I can feel his pain. His broken look breaks my heart too.
My sister was disheartened and cried when our parents disrespected him and his parents.
What a life!
What can I expect from my parents when they can't even understand the pain of their daughter?
My parents are cruel and hold no emotions for me but my sister is a lovable child. That's why I don't understand why they are doing this to her, to their proud daughter.
So, I am irritated now and I locked myself in my room because I'm not in the mood to see their fake love and emotions towards my sister.
And I think you're thinking that I'm talking to myself right? No! I am recording my voice in this pen recorder. It's easy to record your words and feelings because I'm too lazy to write diaries. This pen recorder was gifted by my best friend when she was leaving the country after her wedding.
I sigh!
And I am all alone now. My best friend got married and left me. Now my sister is getting married and I will be all alone again. My sister never cared about me but sometimes she casually asked me 'How are you, Gannu?' That's it.
And trust me, it means a lot to me.
Oh! My nickname is Gannu and Her name is Lekha. Our names sound similar sometimes.
ChitraLekha Aggarwal.
ChitraGandha Aggarwal.
I don't like my name. Who chooses these kinds of names in the 21st century huh? But what can I do when your parents choose these types of old-fashioned names?
"I - am- -"
And suddenly, someone barges into my room and I am stopping my recording here.
"Sister Gannu", Chotu enters my room and calls me. He is a kid who lives in my parents' house with his parents who work here.
"What's wrong?", I ask and my heart jumps because of the feeling I am getting from him.
"Sister Lekha ran away from the wedding and Madam and Sir are screaming at each other", Chotu says, and I stand up from my seat and hurriedly go towards him.
"What happened?", I ask, my body is shivering.
"I don't know much about the situation but do you want to go there?", He asks me and I don't know how to reply to him.
In this house, Chotu and his parents are the only ones who care for me.
After collecting my courage, I nod hesitantly and he takes my hand in his hand and we move towards meeting my parents.
***
~• Inside my parents' bedroom:-
"Wear this", My mother says and I am confused about everything which suddenly takes a U-TURN in my life.
She threatens me and snatches my whole world with one statement.
"YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED", My mother announces to me and I stand numb there as tears well up in my eyes.
My sister ran away and left a letter saying that she loves that boy and is currently pregnant with his child. She can't leave her love and she can't marry someone else.
And here my parents are making me her replacement.
They want me to get married to the groom whom they chose for my sister. I am crying and pleading with them but they don't want to hear anything.
To my parents, their status, respect, and dignity are more important than their daughters.
I don't even know when I stand in front of the wedding Hall. I stumble but someone supports me.
I feel that he is the groom with whom I am going to get married. He is holding my hand and squeezing a little softly like he is supporting me or trying to console me but I don't want to feel anything. I don't want anything from him.
I want to run away from this, to hide herself from everyone. It's not a wedding. It's an announcement of my life. This marriage will snatch everything from me.
My mother made me sit down in the wedding hall, next to the groom. I can hear the whispering and murmuring sounds.
The priest starts chanting the holy spells and tears are streaming down from my eyes.
My heart is jumping unmannerly inside my chest. My body is numb enough to respond. My mind is thumping because of all the mess.
Why? Am I the only one who always suffers?
Why me? Why me? Why are they sacrificing me, my happiness, and my peace?
Can't they support me a little bit?
Can't they give warmth to me?
I'm not asking so much from them but I, too, deserve a little amount of love, peace, happiness, and warmth.
I don't even know when darkness starts to consume me but before closing my eyes, I hear screams and only, screams.
I can also hear the loud booming voices of my parents and I stand up abruptly from my seat asking myself.
"What's happening here?".

"Aaaargh !", A young man of age 20 grunted loudly as pushed the heavy metals.
His name was ARIV Arjun Kashyap. Ariv, the youngest son of ARJUN and PASHIKA Kashyap. The fourth and last born of Quadruplets.
Ariv was working in the construction area of the new building of his company which he took from his father, Arjun Kashyap when he turned eighteen and spent one year with his father to learn basic knowledge of the business.
Arjun's Security Company belonged to Ariv now because SHAURYA Kashyap - the eldest Son got the position of Co-CEO of K&K CORPORATION from his father.
ARTHIT Kashyap 'firstborn of Quadruplets' chose medicine, AARYA Arjun Kashyap 'second born of Quadruplets" chose to follow his elder brother and engaged himself in the hotel lines, and ARIN Arjun Kashyap 'Third born of Quadruplets chose Law and became a criminal lawyer.
"Hubir", Ariv called his first in command. His right hand who knew about Ariv's working style, admired him also.
"Yes, Boss?", Hubir replied and stood In front of Ariv.
"Is everything ready?", Ariv asked about the new project.
"Yes, Boss but what about the First Boss and the Madam", Hubir asked about the parents of Ariv because he knew Arjun and Pashika Kashyap and their morals and values of life.
Ariv sighed loudly and looked at the person who was a few years older than him but had the same fire as him. Hubir was his trusted man like Raghav and Nivaan were for his father.
"Hubir! Everything will go according to our plans", Ariv commanded and Hubir nodded and left Ariv alone.
Ariv stopped his work and stared directly at the blank space.
Ariv Arjun Kashyap, the youngest born of the set of Quadruplets, 20 years old and the CEO of KASHYAP Security Company was studying Commerce at ABC College, Delhi, India.
And now, He was going against his parents' upbringing. His parents Arjun and Pashika were not aware of his upcoming steps which could snatch the earth from their feet.
....
A few hours later, on the other hand,
CHITRAGANDHA's POV:-
My head was thumping. I clutched my head and opened my eyes. I tried hard to look but the images were blurry. My eyes were hurting also. I felt someone was beside me. I held the hand of that person and soon got relaxed to know that it was Chotu's hand.
"Chotu, What's exactly going on?", I asked in a low voice.
"Sister Gannu! Don't know what, both Sir and Madam are trembling and few men have guns in their hands", Chotu whispered and I gasped.
"Guns? Few Men?", My brain stopped working, and remembered that man with whom I was going to marry. So I asked Chotu about the groom, "Where is the groom".
Chotu snorted softly, "He is here standing with your parents".
I nodded.
"Where are the guests right now?", I asked him again because I was not feeling well because of all the fiasco.
But I don't wish to see anyone getting hurt in our family's premises by this unexpected and reverse situation.
"Guests left. Everyone was scared to see gunMan in the middle of the wedding", Chotu whispered in my ear.
"I'm not married?", I asked again for confirmation.
"No, sister! You fainted and Gunmen entered at the same time", Chotu said softly and his tone sounded a little bit happier.
"For how long I was unconscious", I questioned him.
"Maximum Twenty minutes and Gunmen were screaming at each other. You woke up on your own", Chotu spoke and I was listening to him but suddenly someone else 's voice caught my attention.
"Oh! You are awake now", I heard a deep velvety voice and my heart quickened the beats.
I craned my neck and looked at the owner of the deep masculine enchanted voice.
"Let's go?", The owner of that velvety voice said and grabbed my hand.
I didn't know what to say to him when he held my hands and started dragging me.
His touches were cold and I felt an electric shock run into my body as I trembled unknowingly.
"Wait! You can't take her. Today's her wedding", I heard my mother's ear-piercing voice.
"She is going with me and no one can stop me. No one will stop me", That person spoke and I shivered. His grip was tightening on my wrist and I could feel pain erupting there.
I didn't know how to react at the moment as I was just looking down all the time on the floor and trying to execute every piece of information.
"Someone is here and taking me away from the wedding"- This thought dropped on my head like a bomb.
"She is our daughter and we have rights over her", my father yelled at him.
I don't know what's going on but I know one thing this is my last chance to live my life according to myself. This is my last opportunity to come out of this unwanted marriage.
"Oh really then you are wrong Mr. Singh. Chitra is going with me", He again said but this time it was for my parents and they did what I never imagined in my wildest dreams.
"What did Chitra do to you?", My mother asked him.
"It's not for you to know", He spoke and then dragged me as I stumbled a few times.
He held me tightly and I heard a cracked sound and instantly knew that my bangles had broken because of his tight grip.
I hissed in pain when broken pieces of bangles pierced my skin and I felt liquid flowing through my hands but he didn't stop there.
He continued to drag me to the street and at the next moment, He left my hand swiftly. I stumbled upon something and I fell flat on the street.
"Can't you see properly? You bloody", He said and stopped himself in the middle.
I stood on my feet and tried to look at his face. I wiped my tears, controlled my breathing and hammering heartbeats, and yelled at him, "Yes, I can't see properly because I'm BLIND".

Chitragandha stood on her feet and tried to look at his face. She wiped her tears, controlled her breathing and hammering heartbeats, and yelled at him, "Yes, I can't see properly because I'm BLIND".
She said and bit her lips to control her loud sobs. She could feel gazes at herself. Everyone was watching her, looking at her pathetic self, and mocking her suffering.
She shivered slightly as she yelled at him. She didn't know who he was and why he was taking her away from her house and away from the wedding but she was slightly happy that she was not going to get married to anyone because she did not want to get married.
A round of silence fell around them.
"Boss", a manly voice entered her ears.
This voice belonged to Hibir and the man who just dragged Chitragandha out of the wedding pavilion was ARIV ARJUN KASHYAP.
Staring blankly at her, Ariv frowned deeply at her words.
"Come again", Ariv said as he stood like a statue in front of her and continued to stare at her face.
"I said, say again", Ariv said gritted this time.
"I said I'm BLIND", Chitragandha said and her voice cracked as she immediately took a few steps back from his hard gazes.
She felt his heated gaze on hers and got scared.
It was not new for her to feel heated gazes of people on her but this time, the man who stood in front of her was sending strong dominating chills down her spine which was completely different from the past. This was the reason she never left her house because she was blind.
"You can't be blind", Ariv said and dialed a number and talked to the other person.
"F*ck", He cursed and she flinched at his cursing voice.
Ariv inhaled deeply after taking a few seconds while staring at her. He asked as his eyes were blazing in anger, "What's your name?".
She stood there and then lifted her head and said in a low voice, "Chitragandha Aggarwal"
"Fucking Bitch", Ariv cursed again, which caused her to jump loudly at his high angry tone.
"Who is ChitraLekha?", Ariv asked her.
"She is my Elder Sister", Chitragandha replied as there was a small frown on her face.
"Today was her wedding. What were you doing at her place in her wedding dress?", He asked her frustratedly.
"She ran away from the wedding with her boyfriend and my parents made me her replacement" " she said and tears welled up in her eyes thinking about How her parents betrayed her.
"That bitch, I swear", Ariv screamed and she trembled badly.
After a few minutes of staring at her and rubbing his temple, he said, "Go back"
"Huh?", She stood blankly and He said again to her, "Go back to your house"
"Sorry?", Chitragandha asked confusedly.
"You have defective ears too. Listen, It was a mistake. I came for your sister but I mistook you for her but Aargghhh - go back", Ariv said and moved away with his team.
ARIV did not want to explain anything to her. However, her eyes went wide at his words.
"I can't", Chitragandha whimpered softly and he stopped at her words.
"I can't go back to the house. Firstly you caused a disturbance at my wedding, you stopped my wedding, and then abducted me. And now you're telling me to go back. Go back where, huh?", Chitragandha said loudly to him. Ariv groaned as rubbed his temple which was throbbing uncontrollably.
"Do whatever you want to do. I have nothing with you", Ariv said and Chitragandha was speechless.
Ariv moved away from her and she shouted at him and asked him not to leave her there, all alone.
"Don't go, please. At least don't leave me here", ChitraGandha sobbed and requested him but her voice didn't affect him.
Ariv left her in the middle of the street.
Chitragandha stood numbed on the street. First, her parents and now this man also said the same things she had heard since her childhood.
"Do whatever you want to do. I have nothing with you", She repeated Ariv's words and cried loudly at her fate.
She controlled her emotions put all her courage together and stood at her feet. With her shaking hands she clutched her wedding dress. Her eyes were hurting because of tears. The head was thumping badly. Her feet were wounded but she didn't stop.
It was the middle of the night, She was walking like a living dead. The tears were flowing through her eyes. Numerous cars stopped In front of her. She bumped into walls and poles. Her head got wounded.
The rain started showering their precious tears upon hers. Her body shivered because of the cold raindrops. Her clothes were sticking to her body like a second skin. and make-up washed away from her face but raindrops didn't suppress her pain.
She stumbled and fell. She cried at her cruel fate but soon she felt a hand in her arms.
Fear erupted in her heart as She tried to move out of the hard grip but that grip tightened around her arms.
"Leave me. Leave me. Who are you?", Chitragandha said. Her voice was shaking because of the cold.
"Shut up", The voice yelled at her.
she heard a familiar voice, "You?".
"Yes I am", Ariv replied to her.
"Why are you here?", She asked bitterly as she had anger for him.
"Just shut your mouth", He said as he supported her and then started dragging her.
"No, wait, where are you taking me?", Chitragandha asked as her head spun.
"Home", Ariv said and the word 'HOME' came unknowingly out of his mouth that stiffened her.
Her heart dropped at the choice of his words
"Huh?", Her vision was dark but she felt that he was staring at her face.
"I'm taking you home", He said and carried her in his arms.
"No, I won't go with you", Chitragandha objected and wriggled into his arms but soon darkness consumed her senses.
....
At ARIV's House -
CHITRAGANDHA's body was warm as she hugged herself and snuggled into the soft blanket. Her memories from last night waded but she froze for a moment when her mind started to replay the incidents.
Her Sister ran away from her wedding.
Parents betrayal,
Replacement,
Bride,
Bridegroom,
Holy chants,
Screams,
Gunmen,
Mistake,
Abandoned,
Rainfall,
Darkness.
That man again and last again darkness.
She remembered every incident and sat down on the bed.
"Where am I?", she asked herself.
"Oh, you are awake now?", Ariv asked her.
"Huh?", She shivered and nodded instantly.
"Good", Ariv said as he moved closer to the bed.
"How are you feeling?", He asked as he maintained a distance from the bed.
"I'm fine", She said and traced her dress and felt weird
Suddenly she gasped loudly and asked in a panic tone, "Where is my dress?"
ARIV could not help but chuckle at her reaction.
"Don't worry. You are safe here and I wasn't the one who changed your clothes. My maid changed your clothes so stop cursing me in your mind", Ariv replied and she looked away from him.
Ariv shook his head and started to move out of the room.
Chitragandha could hear the sound of his footsteps so she hurriedly asked him, "What's your name?"
And hearing her question, Ariv turned around and stood by the door support and stared at her.
"Ariv", He said in a calm tone.
Chitragandha had no expression at all.
"Ariv Arjun Kashyap", He spoke and she repeated his name in her mind.
