"I can't believe this is happening". Jasmine jumped up and down as she screamed in excitement.

"Calm down Jasmine". Danielle laughed at her overexcited friend.

" Jasmine, Danielle is right, you got to calm down. You're even more excited than Eliza" Lana pitched in but the excitement could be read in her face.

" You guys, this is very big, so none of you better forget your lines, cause even if this doesn't mean alot to you, it does for Eliza, so none of you ruin this for her cause if you do... "

" Relax Alisa, we know how important this is, not just for us but mostly for Sis Eliza. We can never mess this up". Georgia interrupted Alisa big speech. They would never mess this up for Eliza, no matter what.

14 kids. They were 14 kids in number. Georgia and her twin brother George, Amelia, John, and Emile. Those five kids were preteens who became ophans at a young age. Alisa, Lana, Dion and his younger sister Kiara were all teenagers whose parents where never found in an accident so they were said to be dead. The last five kids Danielle, Jason, Jasmine and Fiona where rich kids who wanted to sing but their parents never allowed them.

Then we have Eliza. Eliza Taylor was last and only female child of her parents. She had two older brothers who her parents adored. Anyone at all could tell that her parents never wanted a female child and if they did, they probably just didn't want her. She was maltreated right from birth, by her older brothers and her parents. Most times her mother would even go as far as bringing her friend's children to make fun of her. Her brothers didn't help matters. They bullied her at any chance that got, cause they knew their parents would even praise them for it.

When Eliza turned 18, she had finally had enough. She was tired of everything so she decided to runaway. Away from her parents who never cared about her, away from her brothers who treated like like trash, away from her mother shitty friends who used any chance her mother gives them to make fun of her. She just ran away.

After boarding a ship to the big city, Eliza relaxes because she knew that in a few hours, she would disappear from everyone who knew who she was. But it was like everything hated her, because a few hours into the ride, there was a huge disturbance in the sea. While they were still battling the rocking ship, a huge storm began. The ship lasted for half an hour, but after that everyone in the ship could see that it wouldn't last any longer.

Smaller boats were dispersed and lucky boarders were allowed on the boats. Eliza secured a place for herself but before her boat could leave, a few parents ran towards her and begged her to take their kids. With all the struggling, she manages to save 4 kids. Their boat was just a few miles from the ship when it suddenly capsized with the unlucky boarders and the children parents.

When they finally reached the big city, the kids refused to leave her side so she adopted them, even though she was just 18. Sooner 5 more ophans came but she never rejected any of them. The rich kids came the last and they became a family.

"Last person in the van would wash it". Eliza yelled and ran towards the van as fast as she could with the kids following behind her.

At the same time at the most expensive hall in the city, Mason Kendell the CEO of Kendell International, was getting married.

"Mason, the guests are arriving, you need to go in now". The grooms best friend and also best man Victor said.

"Do I really have to marry Kendra?"

"Wait you're asking this now? Mason this isn't the time for second thoughts, if your getting married dude, you got to do it know.

Mason took a deep breath. He need he had to do this.

The door to the parish hall opened and Mason and his best man walked in.

When the opening of the door was heard a lot of nosey and gossiping guests that were there turned there heads to look at the groom.

Murmurs were heard form every corner of the hall the moment Mason walked in.

" The groom should please come forward and stand beside his bride". A man dressed in all white and was most certainly the priest said as she pointed to the empty space beside Kendra by the altar.

Mason walked as slowly as possible towards the altar but no matter how slowly he walked he eventually reached the altar and stood beside his bride. The woman he would apparently spend the rest of his life with.

"The bride and groom should look at each other as they exchange their vows"The priest announced and a young boy of about 5 came forward to present the rings.

" Wait for us! ". A shout was heard and once again the guest turned their necks to see who was it that interrupted an already late wedding.

Eliza and her troupe walked into the parish hall with unseen smiling faces. Their smiling faces were unseen because they all apart from Eliza wore masks that covered their eyes to half of their noses, so as their identities most especially the rich kids identities would not be revealed.

While the guest were mumuring, the girls in the troupe couldn't help but gawk at Mason.

"How many have you seen" Jasmine asked absentmindedly as she stared into Mason breath taking face.

Danielle couldn't stand the thought of such woman insulting people she had considered as family so she spoke up.

She knew that Danielle was not to be rivalled with, she was the governor's daughter for goodness sakes.

The Eliza walked up from the back of her troupe and went straight to the priest. She snatched the microphone from him and began to sing while walking towards the extremely suprised Mason wondering what was happening.

Eliza seemed to have not seen the change in his expression, or she just didn't care because she continued her song.

The music started to end slowly, and Eliza walked toward Mason slowly while singing the last verse.

Eliza looked at the most handsome man she had ever seen before in her life and was contemplating whether she should do what she had planned to do or just back out now. She had just turned her back to the dude and decided to back out when her troupe, her family, started chanting.

She didn't even think, she turned around faced the guy and kisses him. Her first kiss, ever. The kiss lasted for about 5 seconds when she heard the supposed bride yelling for them to call security.

She retracted her lips from the stunned god in front of her and said

She ran to her troupe, who had already started to disperse leaving her behind.

Eliza looked at the young teenager and knew that this girl and the others would use this to tease her for the rest of her life.

While the girls were celebrating and running away, back at the parish hall Mason had just regained his senses after being stupified by a kiss.

He had been out of the country all these while, so had no idea that all of these were going on behind his back. He also didn't investigate the woman he was meant to marry, because his brother vouched for her. Now he could see that everything was just a facade.

But mason couldn't stand it anymore, before she could complete whatever nonsense that was coming out from her mouth, he pushed her hands off his really expensive suit trouser and walked away.

Before he completely left the building,

"She was acting so... so.... so calm and gentle". Danielle mimicked Kendra and started acting so calm, while the others laughed.

" Okay, that's enough we got to get out of here before the police comes". Eliza looked at the kids and said with all seriousness but anyone could see that she was just trying to hold back her laughter.

"Everyone in the bus". Eliza yelled while directing the over exited kids into the extra large bus

Mason went straight to a bar after he cancelled the wedding.

How could he be so naive?

He totally forgot to do a background check on the woman he was supposedly spending the rest of his life with?

He came back only a few days ago after spending a few years abroad only because his younger brother had convinced his grandmother that be needed to get married even thought he was just 24 years.

Mason drank another shot of alcohol but still couldn't get his mind off what happened at the wedding hall.

"Another shot" The drunk Mason said as he dropped his glass in front of the bartender who looked like he didn't intend on pouring him another glass.

The bartender looked at the man in front of him who had been drinking since he came here, which was almost four (4) hours ago. He had been drinking none stop for the past four hours and the bartender was starting to worry about him.

"Sir are you sure you want another glass?" Mason turned his head to look at the bartender

"Who are you to tell me what I can do or not".He barked.

The club temperature suddenly went down and the bartender felt the chill. He became frightened immediately and tried to change his statement

"Sir... it's.. like.. it's.. just you.. have been drinking for too long.. and ... and ...."

".. A...ND how is it your business, your job is to pour me a drink when I ask for one, I don't need your advice, I don't need anyone advice". Mason yelled and started to cause a scene while using his hands to sweep everything on the stand.

"I'll take it from here, you can leave". Victor came to the scene just in time to save the bartender before Mason completely lose his head.

"Mason, guy you got to get yourself together" Victor struggled to get the drunk Mason off the chair, but the man wasn't helping.

"Mason you need to help me here..". But before Victor finished talking Mason went unconscious and he fell asleep

Victor murmured as he dragged his best friend limp body to his car and drove off to a hide out, a place where only he and Mason knew existed. It was a place where Mason would go to cool off if he didn't want anyone to find him.

Victor got out of the car and struggled to carry Mason into the house. After getting past the door with great difficulty he looked up and remembered that mason room was upstairs.

"How the hell am I going to get him from down here to up there". Victor cried inwardly. It was going to be impossible. Mason could be described as one of the muscular able-bodied men. He had toned Muscles in his arms and legs, but like a wrestler, but like a model who goes to the gym frequently. He had a perfect body, which included a well toned stomach which was hard as a rock as a result of frequent exercise. His arms and feet were also strong. He was also really tall and could make any girl swoon at his feet. But right now, that hardness was what was making it impossible for Victor to carry or drag him to his room.

Victor wasn't as tall, handsome or muscular as Mason. But didn't mean he wants handsome. While Mason handsomeness looked like a hot model, Victor was more like a cute sweet guy you can see in romance movies. He was tall, taller than average and he also worked out, but mason was taller and more muscular so making him more like a prince charming. Normally when ever Victor was this close to his best friend, he would admire him and wish to have the same built, but right now, getting upstairs was an obstacle than he would not be able to cross because of his best friend muscles and weight, so didn't even try.

Victor went straight to the nearest couch and dropped Mason on but despite the fall, the drunk guy didn't wake up.

When he dropped the extra weight he had been carrying, Victor felt extremely lighter so he massaged his joints and climbed to his own room. Tomorrow would be an eventful day. Mason and Kendra's failed marriage was ready all over the news and be knew Kendra wouldn't take it likely. That ban that ruined or saved his best friend marriage by not letting it happen, where going to be targeted and something tells his that's not what Mason want.
