Mr Johnson's POV

"Nurse,where is my wife?, how is she?,what about my baby?" I asked the nurse, fidgeting a bit as she was coming out of the theatre

"Calm down and exercise more patience sir, she will be okay"she answered as she approached me.

"For how long,huh?,it's been five hours ,five good hours, and you are telling me to calm down?" I asked anxiously, getting angry a bit.

"Please sir ,calm down,we are trying our best" the nurse answered and left immediately.

I went back to the hospital bench and sat down furiously, I prayed silently for my wife and child to be in safe hands.Have lost eight children already, i can't afford to lose another. They all died due to unfortunate circumstance, I pray this one come out safely

The doctor walked to me and said "Sir,can we talk in my office?" bringing me out of my deep thought.I looked at him,he wasn't smiling, I couldn't figure out what his expressions meant

"Can we?,he said leading the way as I followed behind, confused.

I hope its not what I'm thinking.

" Have your sit sir"he said, gesturing me to sit as we entered his office.I sat down quietly ready to hear the bomb shell.

"We lost the baby"He voiced out

I ran mad immediately " what? did I hear you say you lost my child?" I asked and stood up with rage and grabbed his lab coat collar "how could you be so careless doctor, how could you?"

"We are sorry,we tried our best but she couldn't make it" he said,calmly

I sank down on my chair "my baby"I said as I cried out bitterly, noooo.

"Take heart sir"he said trying to console me.

I brought out my handkerchief and wipe off my nose .

I sniffed and said "how is my wife?" after finding my voice

"She's perfectly alright ,she needs rest".

I just bend my head in pain with so many thoughts running in my mind " not again, how long will this last? What have I done to deserve this pain? Another child gone? This pain is too much for me to bear

I raised my head with tears dropping from my eyes "This is the ninth child I'm losing doctor, was I destined to not have a child?" I said to the doctor in tears

" What? Ninth child? This is very painful" He said, looking shocked

" Yes doctor,very painful" I said, still in tears

He heive and said " I can help you"

"Help me?how?" I asked, confused.

"A woman gave birth to a set of twins few minutes ago" He said

"So?"I asked, wiping my tears with my handkerchief

"Let's switch the babies"

"What?, you want to exchange my dead baby with hers? that's an heartless thing to do" I said,in a low and sober voice not buying the idea at all

"I'm trying to help your family, your wife cannot give birth anymore, her heart is weak and any bad news given to her might endanger her life,I know u wouldn't want that, would u?" He said

I sat down quietly thinking of what he said. I love my wife,i can't endanger her life, she's my life, I depend on her.she's all I have gotten. I looked at the doctor, he was busy checking out the documents, but I think his mind is on me. He's so heartless ,I know he must have been doing this type of stuffs. I scorned under my breath, how could he be so comfortable exchanging people's babies, God will punish him.God will punish you too, a voice in me echoed, you are also doing this job with him,the voice came again. I'm saving my wife .Gosh,God please forgive me.I have no other choice.

I continued checking out the doctor, he must be waiting to hear how much? ,or I agree ,or let's do it. "God!"I muttered, frustrated.

" Okay, I will do it. I have no other choice. I still love my wife and can't afford to lose her to bad news. So How much does it cost?" I finally asked, he looked up and smiled.

"20 million Naira" He answered, but this time,not smiling.

"Okay but please, don't get caught. Give me your account details, I'll forward the money to you shortly after I leave the hospital"

He nodded his head,picked a pen and wrote down his account details in a sheet of paper and handed it to me. I collected it and left his office without saying anything further

I went straight to my wife's ward,I saw her lying peacefully on the bed,her face looks pale,she must have suffered a lot. I sat on the bed, held her hands to mine

" How are you feeling now" I asked,

"I'm weak" she answered, weakly

" Please be strong" I said, still rubbing her palms. She nodded her head

I kissed her on the fore head and left the ward. I went outside ,located my car and zoomed out of the hospital building .

17 years later

Amelia grew up to be a very beautiful but spoilt brat. Her eye balls are big to adorn her oval face and the pupil is perfect. Her hair is thick black and long enough to swiftly caress the small of her back. Her lashes are too long to be true and the brow is too full and shaped that there will be no need to chaff them. Her nose is pointed and just so right for her face. Her lips are pink and perfectly made to be kissed.she has a full mouth that will make a full blooded man to think of rosebuds because they were so red. Her skin color is just perfect,it's very fair,soft,womanly and her curves were so made for a man's satisfaction, she is indeed a perfect definition of an angel in person

Amelia's POV

"what?, you can't do this again dad. I'm in need of that money,you can't just do this to me" I shouted angrily.

My dad has been torturing me for long,he doesn't listen to me, once I wondered whether he's my real dad because that's not how other dads treat their daughters, why is mine different?, my mum isn't a problem, she supports me and gives me all I want in life.

"sweetheart, are u there?",his voice echoes from the other side of the phone. yeah,I left home because he seized my phone,so I left home to my own house,my dad is super rich so I have my own house,now my dad's problem now was just because I wanted to buy a new dress for my friend's party tonight, he kept insisting I wear my old ones, he's so heartless, even when I left his house ,he kept disturbing my brain. Gosh!.

"I hope you heard me" he said and hang up. I didn't even hear a thing of what he was blabbing, he kept on blabbing and blabbing. Now let me call mum.

I dial her number,she pick up at the second ring.

"mom!" I shouted immediately she pick up.

"my baby ,is anything the matter?"

" Yes Mom, I'm not fine" I said

"aargh, don't tell me you are sick".she said

"Im not,Dad did it again, he called my manager,"I pouted.

"what?,what's wrong with your dad?,how could he?,I'm calling him now" she said and hang up.i smile

that's my mum for you, sweetest mum ever.

I hope she gets him to release the account.

"yea mum" I answered as she called again.

"baby,your dad refused.I guess you got to wait till tomorrow".

"No way mum,do what u can,I'm using it tonight.send me some money mum,I need this cash"

"sweetie,you know your dad too well,he freezed my account too" she said

"can't you do something about this?"I asked feigning a cry.

"Alright angel,don't cry,I will fix it right now" she said and hang up.I groaned. to hell with you dad, shit. I i opened my laptop, my friends were already at the party texting me.

" I will be a little bit late guys" I replied their text and close the laptop, feeling frustrated. I will be meeting Dave today, the thought of Dave gave me joy immediately. If only I could be in your heart just for an hour, i will be grateful but that bitch stole you away from me.

A message popped on my phone ,I opened it,it reads:

your nanny is coming with the money ,send someone to take the money.I smiled and typed I love u mum. Mummy is just the best. I called my manager immediately.

"yes ma'am"she said, immediately she pick up.

"send someone to bring the clothes and collect the money from my nanny at Vic's hotel"

"Okay ma'am".she said. I hung up and rushed into the bathroom. I came out and saw my phone ringing.my mum was calling.

"mom" I answered

"yea sweetie ,when are you coming home?" She asked

"As soon as dad changes his behaviour, I'll come home" I answered

"I'm missing you baby"She said.

" I'm missing you too mom"

"Then come home"

"Tell the old man to apologize to me then" I said

She chuckle and said "Hope you're eating well?"

"yeah,"

I looked at the wall clock,gosh I'm late.I'm cutting the call now .

"what are u doing now?"she asked

"Reading, mom" she chuckle again at my lame lie.

"we both know you're lying" she said laughing hard.

"Okay now, you caught me,I gat to go now"

"Take care of yourself baby. I love you"

I dropped my phone on the bed without replying ' I love you too'. someone knocked,that must be my maid.I opened the door and my maid handed me a bag.wow , some extra cash from mom. I love u mom ,I shouted happily and opened the bag to find the golden short dress. I wore the dress and went into my makeup room,applied some light makeup, wear on my expensive perfume and went outside happily. I signalled the maid to lock the house. I went into my car and drove off.

Mrs Johnson's POV.

I sat down on the bed watching my husband as he pulls off his clothes,if he didn't do what he did to my daughter, I would have been the one pulling off his shoes by now,I whispered to myself as I watched him quietly ,I wanted to laugh but I need to keep up acting if I really want my precious jewel to come back .

I love my husband,yes but I love Amelia more.Its been two weeks she left the house, so much days,I mean I can't live without her.

"what's it honey,you look troubled" I heard him say as if he wasn't aware of the reason for my acting.I know my husband so well,he could make you look stupid to him,he can play that game with the maids ,but he can't do it to his wife,I've lived with him all my life.

"Honey,it seems you disliked Amelia so much" i said. He shrugged and lie down flat on the bed,I am giving up,I will continue .

"How do you want her to cope alone in that big mansion huh?,you made her leave the house,as if it's not enough,you blocked her means of survival, what kind of father are you?"

"sweetheart, is that your problem right now?" he asked and i nodded .

"I'm trying not to spoil the girl,she has been spending much lately".he opened up and I angrily looked at him,I was so angry.what's he saying?

"spoil who?are u trying to tell me that I gave birth to a spoilt child?" I asked, angrily

"That's not ........,"I couldn't let him speak so I used my usual tactics.I stood up ,went into my bag ,packed some few things,and left the room,he followed behind,

"honey, where are you going to?, I heard him shouted behind me.I turned to him.

"I'm going to my own house, leaving your own damn fucked up house to my house,you can eat the house".I said bluntly,and that shocked him,he closed his eyes and opened them again visibly angry,he was trying to control himself ,any word from me will earn a slap into my face,I just kept looking until he calmed down.He came to me surprising and knelt in front of me.

"I'm sorry if I scared you", He said. I diverted my eyes "no babe,look at me"he said.I didn't.he signed.

"If this will tear my family apart,I will do it,I will release the account and apologize to Amelia,if that will make you happy" He said calmly.. I smiled , it worked. I turned my gaze to him smiling.

"I love you". I muttered audibly like a whisper

"I love you more.come on let's go to bed,I'm tired from working so much". He said and immediately lifted me up in a bridal style.

"what are you doing?",I asked shyly

"I'm taking you to our bedroom of course " he said climbing the stairs.

"The maids might see us" I whispered .

"Its our house not theirs,can't I have fun in my own house?",he said and that made me chuckle.

"you can" I answered and we laughed.

Ava's POV.

"Ava,wake up ,its 7.00 already" .I heard my mom say in my sleep,I immediately opened my eyes ,I heard her say 7.00, seven what?,jeez,I'm late for school. I stormed out of my room and rushed into my bathroom.

This girl is so full of surprises,my mum said and left the room to the kitchen.

writer's POV.

After six minutes ,ava came out,she was wrapped in a white towel,she rushed to her wardrobe ,brought out a very short colour white gown,brought out an high waist shorts and tank top,a pink sleeveless gown and lay them on her bed.

Ava's POV

"Now what should I wear?, I said looking at my clothes.

"Ava!"my mum called.

"yes mum,"I answered.

"come downstairs princess,you are already late for school"

"I'm coming" I answered and picked up the pink sleeveless gown,applied pomade on my skin and wore the clothe.I picked up my baby pink color shoe and wore them,applied powder ,took my back pack and rushed downstairs.

"mom,I'm late ,I don't think I will eat this morning" i said, on reaching downstair

"No,you are definitely taking something before going" she insisted.

I shrugged and grabbed the already made tea and drank it at once.

"Bye mom, kiss Gideon for me"I said and rushed out of house.

Mrs Clara's POV.

I made breakfast ready to wake Gideon up but I can see him coming out of the bedroom ,rubbing off his eyes sleepily.

"morning mom,I heard him greeted.

"How was your night boy?" I asked smiling.

"fantastic. I can smell Ava's sweet perfume,where went she?" he asked as he sat down on the dinning.

"she's off to school" I answered setting the table.

"To school?, wow ,ava is going to school." he said happily.

"what do we have for breakfast?,he chipped in and I smiled.

"your favorite boy".I answered and sat down.

"wow,pancakes with bread,tea,wait did you put fish?,"he asked smiling.

"No ,no money",I answered and his smile faded.

"Gosh!,you should have.what's the use?" he opened the tea cup,and the pancakes with the other plate beside him and saw fish.

"mum you are a good liar" ,he said and gave me a friendly ponch

"Dress up,you are going to school today" I said and he smiled.

"much love mum" he said and kissed me lightly.

"ooh,so sweet of you baby",I smiled, I love my children so much,they have been my joy since my husband died the day Gideon was born.He didn't even get to see his only son before he died.I was so bittered when I heard the news when I was discharged, ava made sure she kept it away from me, she even did what her father would have done to discharge me, my husband died while coming to see I and Gideon.

"I've told you I am not a baby anymore, I have a girlfriend" Gideon pointed absentmindedly.

"you have what?,I shouted immediately.

"No I didn't mean a girlfriend, ah......i......meant...a friend, yes a friend".

"you are lying, you are even stammering".

"No ,I mean,mommmm".He shouted and rushed into his room locking the door behind him.I laughed.

In prestigious high school

Ava's POV

I stood staring at the school sign board with the name " Brantford high school" boldly inscribed on it . yea,I'm going to a rich school on scholarship. Its looks beautiful. This is my first day in school,and I'm looking forward to enjoy my stay here,I walked into the school happily,and was stunned at the beauty of this school,I already doubted if this was a school or some kind of hotel ,if not for the sign board earlier.I saw few kids in their well ironed uniform, probably rich kids.I kept walking surveying the school compound and smiling wildly. I saw a gate by my right hand side and turned to examine it,ooh ava stop being a novice,you are acting weird,I muttered and turned, immediately,I bumped into a boy.His phone fell off.He stared at me as if I've grown two heads.

Dennis pov

l left my friends at the gate.I needed to meet the principal and I promised to catch up with them later.I was rushing towards the principal's office when a message popped into my phone.I brought out the phone out of my pocket to check the sender when a girl bumped into me,she turned immediately and I stood transfixed looking at her,I was wowed at the beauty before me that I almost forgot my mouth was opened. she's fair,cute eyes and nose,well body shaped,her hair was so long that I almost wondered whether she's my guardian angel,infact I've not met such beauty in my life.

"I'm so sorry ,I didn't see you coming" she apologized. Now here comes her angelic voice, she was talking and talking that I couldn't hear all she said ,I just stared at her cute little mouth.she tapped me and I immediately got back to my senses.

"Are you okay?",she asked me

"ye..yea ,I'm fine"I stammered avoiding her gaze,I focused on her hand and noticed she was with my phone.ooh stupid me,I forgot my phone fell immediately she bumped into me. I smiled and collected my phone and checked it,it was just a crack, I will buy another one anyway.

"Are you new here?" I asked calmly.

"yes and I don't know my way here" she quipped in. huh,is she kinda asking for my help,I mumbled.

"I'm actually heading to the principal's office if you don't mind ...............

"I will be grateful". she said smiling but not without showing me her dimples.

Awwww,she even looks more cute on it.This girl is driving me nut with just a smile.No woman have ever made me crazy except one ,I rather not talk about her,I frowned.we headed to the principals office.I went in and she joined too.

"Good morning Mrs James".I greeted the principal who was busy typing on her laptop. A girl was arranging some books at the shelf too,ooh Ann.she just hates me so much.she didn't even smile at me.

"yes Dennis,have you completed the form?",she asked still typing.

"yes,"I answered wondering how she knew I was the person before her.

"Where is Dave?",she asked me now looking up.

"He's not feeling too well".I answered confidently.

"That's just an excuse you know."she said collecting the form and going through it.

"you can leave" she commanded and I left but not without winking at Ann.she just pouted out her tongue making me laugh.

I rushed out of the principal's office and headed to the football pitch where others were waiting for me. we left together to the class.Dave excused himself to ease himself, we went into the class and girls were drooling as always,I'm already used to them. I just ignored them and sat down, brought out my phone and ear piece out and start listening to musics.

Ava's POV

I excused myself to ease myself, the girl directed me to one of the buildings ,this school is surely big,how can a toilet be on one building?,I better not lose my way around here.Due to the fact that I was so pressed,I rushed into the building, went upstairs and could see the toilets on one side and the bathroom on the other side.I pushed the first one,it was locked,the second one ,the same .I groaned angrily, what type of rubbish is this,must I keep pushing all these doors before I get released?, they shouldn't have opened the building ,its of no use.I ran towards the end and pushed one,luckily it was opened ,I rushed inside and what I saw left me speechless.

A boy was making out with a girl inside the toilet. They didn't even see me , and I had no choice than to shout to get their attentions. I looked at them in disgust as they stared at me.I walked closer ,dragged them out and closed the door.I eased up feeling released and comfortable.I flushed the toilet and got out,washed my hands and went towards the mirror checking myself out.someone grabbed me from behind,I looked at his reflection on the mirror immediately. it was the boy earlier who was making out with a girl when i stepped into the rest room. I turned angrily.

"Are you insane?", I asked visibly angry.

"what?",he said, maybe the question didn't get well to him.

"Are you mad?", I asked now shouting.

"Do you know what you just spoilt?you stupid fool huh" he said, with anger moving closer to me.i stared at him with fright moving backward, this boy have gone completely nut ,

"Now you gonna start from where i stopped with her before you interrupted us"

"what are you saying?",I asked confused.

"You don't understand?, are you just dumb or are you deaf ?, I said you spoiled my fun and you will continue where she stopped.

I covered my mouth in awe,this boy is really crazy,I looked around and couldn't see his mate,she must have left

"will you get your hands off me, before I smash your brain into pieces," I shouted.

"like seriously?, alright I get it,you are one of the stubborn girls I like dealing with,I know what to do".He said dragging me in,i struggled to free myself ,he's way too stronger.I have no choice than to use my teeth.I put my teeth into his hand he used in holding me and bit him.He shouted immediately and released me rubbing his wrist.I ran away immediately.

"That girl is insane" I said, looking at my arm.

I left the toilet shortly after she ran away. I met amelia on my way,she looks beautiful on her school uniform, seems she purchased another one.

"Hey dave, what's up?,"

she asked smiling as she pecks me.

" Cool ,you?",I asked looking intently at her. she's a very beautiful lady. She's also my childhood friend but left the city to New York city.

"Good as ever.why are you here?," she asked me looking around .

"On my way to the class,and you?,"

"Waiting for my friends" she answered.

"OK ,meet me in class then." I said running off to the class.

I know Amelia very well,she would ask me to keep her company which I would not like to.since she came back from N.Y four years ago, she has changed so much.

I rushed into the class and all eyes were on me.The teacher stopped what she was saying to look at me, I immediately averted my eyes away from hers.

"you are late Dave"

"I'm sorry Mrs flora."I simply answered and rushed to my seat. of course she didn't utter any other word.

"Yes as I was saying .......................

Dennis POV

I was lost in thought about the angel I met earlier today,she's so cute and I believe she will be admitted to this class.

" Hey ,what are you thinking ?"

I heard Dave shout to my ear. obviously, because of the noise in the class.

" When did you come in?",

I asked back staring at him.

"Not so long,What's bordering you?"He questioned.

" huh,nothing," I said as I shifted my attentions to Mrs flora.

The principal came in and everywhere became quiet.The cute girl standing beside her.

"Huh,this crazy girl?,"

Dave muttered loudly making me turn over to him.

" Do you know her?",I asked .

"No ,yes ,actually..., I met her at the toilet."

He simply answered looking at her.

" Attention please",The principal said and we all looked up.

Ava's POV

I came in with the principal .They all focused their eyes on me.I became shy as so many eyes were on me.

"Her name is Ava Josh.She's new here. make her feel comfortable." The principal said and left .

I looked up, at the back and my eyes met with that idiot. He winked at me and I rolled my eyes and looked away.I also saw the guy I met earlier ,he smiled and I smiled back.

" There's no vacant seat at the front row,you can head to the back seats".The teacher said and smiled.

I noticed three vacant seats and went to the one at the extreme beside the window and sat down. students were still staring at me and I wondered why. Why would they stare at me like that?, ...

Immediately a girl came in, she looked hot and sexy,she walked up to me and faced me.

All eyes were on us, especially on me again .

"Excuse me ,can I have my sit?,".

The girl asked breaking the silence .

" Huh?,here?,"

I asked her.

"yea,that's my seat you're sitting on"

she replied calmly.

"Ooh sorry" .

I apologized and shifted to the middle and she sat down, brought out her ear piece and her iPod and faced the window.

"She's weird"

I murmured and face the class,and looked up to the teacher as she commenced her teaching.

The teacher left the class later, I brought out a novel from my bag. A girl came in shortly. she looks nice on her school uniform. , with her short black hair. she's beautiful and obviously from a rich family too. I wondered if there were poor students in this school anyway. she came in and sat beside me.

" Hi ,she greeted.

"Hello ,I replied"

" I'm Ann,you?"

"I'm Ava."

"Nice to meet you. you're the new girl,right?,she asked.

"yes I am." I replied .

"you're welcome." she said giving me a smile. I faced what i was doing .

The bell rang twice ,students trooped out.

"Where are they going to?", I asked Ann.

" To the hall. it's the bell for an important announcement. you wanna join?"

"yea,thanks."I said and we followed the trail of students moving outside. I looked at the girl sitting beside me, she was looking outside, I wondered if she heard the bell. You got to mind your business anyway. I left with Ann.

We walked into the big hall and sat down. The principal came out with a microphone and started the announcement.

"Good morning students"

"Good morning Mrs James"

"we are here on another section, as you all know ,this section is a section for the sport's day. I believe you all know the list of games to be conducted" he said .

Every one clapped.

she continued as they calmed down.

"The school board had made a decision on the case of basketball to make team white function on the oncoming competition." She said. Everywhere became quiet ,and I became confused.

"I know you all might be wondering why this great school has been without the team for so long, we want them to perform this section" she continued...

still on Ava's POV

"I have a question Mrs James" a girl said.

"I'm listening " She replied.

"I thought the team was banned four years ago, why then do you want them to compete this year?"She asked.

Some students nodded quietly. I looked on ,watching the drama as it unfolds .

" The school board have decided and concluded to make them compete so they were given three days to elect their leader and also to summit the names of the basketball players if not ,they will no longer compete anymore." she concluded and everyone began to murmur.

"Another announcement here is..,....... after the upcoming event,there would be a basketball challenge with the prestigious high school ." She said.

And this time , everyone cheered up.

"Make us proud as you used to,thank you". She concluded and another round of applause was heard.

Everyone despair and left the hall.I joined Ann and we left to our class.Ann just sat down reading a book maybe a novel,I lay down on my desk.some students were out on breaks and I felt very lonely.

" Hey" someone called out behind me, I turned and it turned out to be the guy that led me to the principal's office earlier today.

"Do you mind me showing you around?", he said.

I smiled and stood up immediately , and joined him.

" So now that we are getting along,can you tell me your name?"he asked as we walked down the stairs.

"Ava ,you?"

"Dennis.so.....can you tell me about yourself?",he asked again and I shrugged, I'm not in the mood to talk now.

" what do you want to know?,"I asked hoping to shut him off.

"Don't you wanna tell me?, alright. We are heading to the library now." He said and I nodded and followed behind.

We got in to a very big building, I looked on in admiration.,the library is surely big and well organised,few students were reading ,I looked at Dennis, he was looking at me, as soon as I met his eyes ,he averted them and looked else where.

"This is really big,"I exclaimed looking at the shelves.

"The library" He said , as if I'm blind.

"I can see that,"I said as we walked to the desk and sat down.I got up quietly and walked to the series of books on the shelf and picked one titled "the Adventures of the twins by Queen bella",flipped through few pages and went back to my seat opposite Dennis who was obviously watching me in a closer look.

I don't know why he keeps staring at me as if I am on the wrong cloth. precisely, I was not given uniform so I'm on mufti and I wore one of my best clothes to school, I don't see any reason why he should keep on staring. I overlooked it and sat down.

" Do you read her books?",he finally asked me still staring.

"Bella's books right?,"

I asked still focused on the book.

" Yes" he replied.

I nodded and mumbled.

"I read them a lot, so many of them."

"Really ?" He asked again.

" yes ,"the lost love ",her very first novel,it's based on traditions, culture and deals with myth. ..

"Then ,another one,em ...what's the name again?,yes revenge."

He kept nodding and I continued.

"Another book i love is The reunion and pains of hadiza by king Abel. I really love his books too" i added

" It's very interesting .I've read it twice and I'm hoping to read it again,but I think Isabella (in love with a mermaid) is more interesting". He said

"sky's books?Nope ,because it contains mystical powers or what?,I prefer nature. A novel which is real .It deals with facts of life.I mean for example " The lost love ",it contains our early traditions and cultures.It deals with facts and reality of life.That's the novel I would always love to read. And pains of hadiza, it educate the society on how to behave and it was centered on human trafficking, child neglect and child abuse,i so much love it" i said

" Wow! I love king abel's books too, he's an amazing author. I learnt a lot from PAINS OF HADIZA" He said as i flip into the first page..

Seems this guy wants to challenge me ,I just started humming and shaking my head, almost forgetting that I'm in the library.

"Now you sound like a traditionalists. Can we proceed?,I hope you don't tend to read this book here?",he asked after watching me for a while.

"Nah.But not without borrowing this book ".I answered and stood up .I walked straight to the counter and greeted a lady, perhaps she's in charge of the library.

"Can you lend out this book for like ....three days?,I asked her.

" Sure .sign" She said bringing out a thick long note and showing me where to sign.

"Thanks ",I said and smiled.

We walk out of the library.

" Now let's go over to the garden"

"Garden?,I would love to."

We've gone to the library ,field ,basketball Court, volleyball ,music house,halls and so many places that i would love to stay if i have the time later .I must say the school is really big.Now we are walking back to the class.

He stopped and I looked at him immediately.

" What's wrong?", I asked still looking strangely at him.

"I'm hungry ,can we go over to the cafeteria? ,he mumbled.

"Seems I'm also hungry ,I didn't eat much today". I told him.

" Yea ,let's go.

Amelia POV

I and my friends were in the cafeteria discussing some random girl's stuff.I noticed Doris wasn't paying attention, she was probably staring at something absentmindly.

I traced her eyes to Dennis and that new girl.

"Hey,are you alright?", I asked her bringing her back to her senses. I look at her eyes and I could see she was hurt,there was this angry stare she had on the new girl.Doris is my best friend.

" I love Dennis too much,I've tried to make him happy and see me as his lover,but just a day,the new girl became close to him." She said almost crying. I pitied her.

I held her hands and she stared into my eyes.she has tried and Dennis holds her only but a friend.

"Look Doris,they might be together but I don't think they like each other"

"What do you mean you don't think they like each other?,why should they even be this close? She snapped and rolled her eyes.

"Look ,we are going over to them right now".I shouted and stood up.
