Chapter one: THE FIGHT

Charlia Benson, yeah that's her name, a seventeen years old girl, the only son and daughter of her mom. She's tall, fair in complexion, gat an adorable bright green eyes with her sexy eyeballs matches to her pale skin and lengthy red hair which she admire so much.

About her dad? She knows nothing about him or what he looks like, not in picture or even in reality cause she grew up without her father by her side, well it's fine !! she gat her mom.

She's an hidden child, all thanks to her mom for getting her stuck in boys clothes all day long. Ever since she was a little girl, her mom insisted she dress up like a boy without telling her the reasons cause whenever she brought up the issue, her mom find a best way to avoid it or rather she will say when the right time comes she will tell her all she needs to know.

But know she's seventeen, a big girl now, no longer a child she deserves to know the truth, why is she dressing like a boy and she really wants to know who is her father, is his handsome, tall, pale skin like hers, she can't deny the fact that she really missed him so much even without knowing him. Now she going to ask her mom one last time because she need an answer.

She walk up to her mom's room barging in without knocking on the door, which got her mom furious and she said; "Lia, where are your manners?" She shouted.

"Well I left it back there in my room", Crossing her two hands around her breast, her mom was surprised by her daughter outbursts as she stear at Lia with her eyes wide open.

"Mom who is my Dad" She finally drop the bomb shell because her mom wasn't expecting it coming.

" And what's the meaning of that, have told you am going to tell you all you need to know when the right times comes, so go back to your room now" her mom's said with an authority, which didn't seem to move Lia even a bit, cause she knows her mom very well, well enough to know that she's just using this hard tone to push her away, but she got her on this today, as she said; " ain't going anywhere without you telling me what I need to know" she said stubbornly.

Hailey look up to her daughter, looking scared, she's no longer the sweet little Charlie she can decieve easily, all she could see right now, is a grown up pretty lady who is determined to know the truth, but she can't let the cat out of the bag, not now not ever, she ganna wait till she's ready to handle the truth, she can't tell her now, so she said; " All am doing is to protect you, please try to understand me Lia" She said getting defeated already trying to reason with her daughter.

" Mom, this is what you have been saying this for the pass sixteen years, so am not buying those bullshit again, not this time around, Mom, who are you protecting me from? Lia said getting angry, as her mom was staring into space "mom, talk to me, am your daughter for Christ sake, what the hell are you hiding from me." she shouted again, her mom still not say a word to her and she angrily said; " am ganna go out there mom, out of this buil....." As her mom quickly interupt her, hugging her tightly.

" Please don't go outside, believe me, am doing all this for you please I beg of you " Her mom said sobbing like a baby, " do you think it's easy for me too, his out there looking for you, I can't let him take you away from me" her mom was scared visiblely.

Lia could see fears in her mom's eyes,and who is he, why is he looking for her, she ask herself, seeing her mom this way breaks her heart, because her mom was so scared, but why is she scared, she had known her mom to be a strong woman, seeing her like this weakened her spirits and she don't know what to say again.

She just have to be thankful to God for giving her such a mom, her super woman, who had passed through pains and struggles just to give her a better and comfortable life, what more would she ask for, she just had to follow her mom decision and accept who she is now "A boy" thinking about that makes her stomach sick, she look up to her mom and said;

" Okay mom, I believe you, so stop crying" she Said to her mom cleaning her tears.

" I love you Baby, don't think of me as a bad mother okay," her mom said looking into her eyes.

" I won't mom," she assured, as she left for her room leaving her mom all alone.

Charlia entered her room and walk straight to the bathroom to have a quick shower, she came out dripping wet from her hair as she sat-down in front of her dressing mirror stearing at her reflection suddenly she felt a strange feeling as if she was being watched by someone, she walk closer to the window and look outside, her eyes meet with me darkness of the night, checking out if she could see anything or anyone but she still felt it again she quickly lock her window as push the feeling aside and continue with what she was doing with her hair, she was done creaming her body as she walk up to her bed and yawned triedlessly " tomorrow ganna be a long day " she said silencely as she slept offff .

She woke up from the reflection of the sun and the voice of her mom calling her name downstairs.

" Lia...get your ass down here" her mom yelled.

She quickly get off her bed, get rid of her night wears and rush to the bathroom to brush her teeth and have a quick bath before going downstairs to meet her mom. " Morning mom" she said walking closer to her giving her a kiss.

"Morning baby, hope you slept well and no nightmare right?" Her mom asked. " Not really mom, I slept like a baby last night" she replied smiling widely.

"So what are we having for breakfast" as she saw her mom mixing a bow flour with an egg, " pan cake" her mom replied.

She nods with a smile and walk towards the dinner table to arrange and set them up, her mom walk in from the kitchen with some pan cake, Lia rush to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee.

While having their breakfast in silence, her mom said; " Lia you know after this breakfast, we are going for shopping cause you need to change your stuff....." She pause, observing Lia expression, " so after here you need to go upstairs and freshen up and get ready" she continued.

She noticed how silence Lia was, because she didn't say a word all through.

A few minutes later, Lia rush upstairs to change..she put on her baggy jean trouser with a plain t-shirt and of course she have to put on a face cap to match up her boots.

Stearing at her reflection in the mirror..she couldn't believe she had to disguise herself just because of an unknown man who is after her, who she know nothing of, can't deny the fact she still look cute.

While admiring her boylish look, she heard her name downstairs, taking one last look at herself, she ran down to meet her mother who was staring at her with a smile.

" you still look good," her mom said teasing her as she hand over her bag to her, they walk hand in hand into the car and drive out.

They arrive at the supermarket, her mom took her straight to a particular room which by the look of things around there, she could only see male stuffs.

" here Lia, check this out " her mom said handling her a cute jacket, while picking out some necessary stuffs needed.

They walked into the main store, Lia saw some girls staring at her like she was kinda... She couldn't find the right word to describe it, when suddenly a girl walk up to her.

" Hi handsome, if you don't mind can i take a picture with you?" the girl asked.

before she could reply, her mom came to her rescue and the girl quickly ran to meet her friends and it looked suspicious to her mother that she could help but asked;

" Lia, do you know that girl?" Her mom said, still staring at the girl that just ran off, but Lia only smiled and promise to tell her everything when they gets home.

Turning to her left, she saw a guy, looking at her in a strange way, though the way he dress was normal and he doesn't look suspicious, but the way he look at her, as if he was observing her or something,, she felt cold and the temperature around there suddenly change, which got her scared as she grab her mom's arms and said; " Mom did you see that guy over there?" Pointing to the direction she saw the guy.

"Who?" Her mom asked looking confuse.

Lia was shocked to the bone and confused just like her mother not to see the guy there anymore, what happened, where did he go and how, did he disappeared or was it in her imagination? She asked herself, but her mom hold her shoulder,

" Lia who did you saw " her mom asked staring at her intensively.

" I saw....I saw someone...I think a gu..y over there " she stammered. But she noticed her mom not believe her " look mom, just forget about it, let's go home" she concluded.

After the shopping, they drove off, while going, Lia look through the side mirror and saw a car behind them, the car seems to be following them, she observed as she quickly turn to her mom and said;

" mom that car seems to be following us,"

her mom looked outside and noticed it too, as she quickly speed up, the car in turn speed up too, following them in high speed.

Hailey was so scared, the first thought that came into her mind was the UNKNOWN MAN. " His back" she said to her self.

Mom, who is back" Lia asked her mom who was looking terrified about the whole thing happening.

"don't worry everything is fine " her mom assured.

after the successful escape, she drives into the compound in hurry, stepping out of the car with daughter looking so worried.

" Mom, what's happening," Lia asked

"Nothing go to your room and don't come out," her mom said, ignoring her previous question as she ran into the house straight to her room.

Lia ran to Meet her mom in her room, why is she suddenly acting that way, why is she shaking, did she perhaps know that person that was following them few minutes ago? She ask no one in particular as she rush upstairs knocking on her mother door, " mom!, are you okay, please open up, it's me. " She said while knocking.

" Lia I want to be left alone," her mother said with a breaking voice.

"Okay" Lia said feeling disappointed, as she left for her room.

Hailey was pacing around her room, too many questions on her head, feeling confuse and devestated all at desame time, her whole body was boiling in anger and fears.

She couldn't remember the last time she felt this way, but why..., Why is he back, thou she doesn't know who he was or what he looks like.

17 years memory came rushing into her head, every single events that happened that night, she regreted everything, she wished it's never happened that day, she wised she had just stayed back home with her head buried on her books, she wished she never went to that party that changed her life, she wised she never get drunk and let that shit happen.

So many wishes on her head, it's was to late for her, cause she can't turn back the hand of time, but all the same she was grateful to God for giving her such a wonderful and amazing daughter, thou she doesn't know what her father looks like but she have a strong feelings that Charlia looks like him the physical features and the charming sexy eyes which was the thing she took notice of before everything went blank.

She was tried of everything happening, how long will she keep on running and hidding, suddenly she felt her head too heavy, soon she began to feel cold, she fell on her bed.

Lia who was worried sick about her mom came checking up on her again, she knock but didn't get a response, she quickly push the door open, the state she saw her mom in breaks her heart into a million pieces as she speedy rush to her mom checking her temperature.

" ohhhh my God, mom you are fucking hot" she said with tears streaming down her eyes as she run outside Into the kitchen to get a bowl fill with warm water and quickly went back to meet her mom, and begin to massage her body with it, when she was done, she took out a clean blanket and cover her with it, as she kissed her head

" mom!, please don't get sick, you are all have got please" she said, tears stream down her cheeks as she sleep beside her mom..

In a magnificent building, A young man was seen standing all tall, wearing a black coat, with a smooth mask covering his whole face with some little opening for his eyes, for that no one knows what he looks like, just his bright Green eyes that held some many dark powers,secret, heatred, anger as he stear deeply at his boys who was kneeling down with their heads bow in front of him all dress in black clothes just like him In the huge hall, as he question them and dare them to lie to him.

" Jack, any News? " the unknown man asked with an authority, which sent chill down their spring.

" Boss, he refused to surrender the package" jack said, with his head bow cause he won't dare to look at his boss eye to eye.

" Kill him" unknown man said heartlessly.

" Yes Boss" they chores

"Stone, any news ?" he asked.

" Boss, we have successfully sign the contract and will deliver the package soon" stone said with a bold smile on his face but with his head bow.

The unknown man just nod his head.

" Dean, any news"

" Yes boss, I followed them secretly just like you instructed and they arrived at the supermarket, I saw the girl and her mother, believe me the girl got your bright Green eyes, she might be around sixteen or seventeen years old, she saw me thou but I left there before being notice by her mom And i tried following them secretly but I lost them" jack said in details, " am sorry boss" he added immediately.

The unknown man was in deep thought after he heard what Dean said, in a hard tone he said; " Okay, stay low for now, soon we strike, go tell the others ". With that, he send them all away cause he want to be alone and think of the next plan.

He knew she was pregnant after that night, but stayed low and hidden, all her moves he knows, he had placed his boys all over, to watch over her.

She won't know what hit her soon.
