Listening to my father I thought I was doing it for the best reasons only for me to realise that he was doing it for his own selfish reasons. Don't get me wrong I love my father dearly but he seriously tricked me into moving back home after I got my degree just so he could have his little girl back home.
Luckily for me, I was the only daughter of Jason and Hannah Reeves. The owners of the 4-star Nevada hotel here in the city. Luck was not on my side just yet as my parents have taken full advantage of using me to their own accord to run errands for them.
"Loretta darling can you pick up your cousin from the train station, oh and pick up some pizza on your way back" My mom called from the bottom of the stairs as I laid down in my bed listening to Billy Eilish on repeat.
I barely made it past my mom with the money she plucked from her purse when I heard my dad shout "wash the range " was he said.
I held back a snarky comment. I know that they loved me but seriously I felt like I should be paid for the number of things I do for them. I really shouldn't make a big deal out of it the hotel was having a big renovation and they were both stressed.
After kissing them both on the cheek I headed outside to the range rover. During my second year in university, I was able to get a lot of money from running the website and blog for the hotel. Dad said that if I got us, 10,000 followers, by my graduation he would pay half for a brand new car for myself.
Since he paid for half he thinks its as much as his as it is mine.
I sat inside and headed for the train station. My cousin Yousef was coming to London for a week. He had this interview with a tech company and mom suggested he stay with us which only seemed fair.
I pulled into the car park and searched for him. I laughed when I saw him, he wasn't hard to miss. His usual dark blonde hair was hidden underneath a baseball cap and he was decked out in what I assume was Adidas.
I peeped my horn and waited for him to look my way. His eyes went huge when he saw the car I was in. It's nice to know he appreciates a car more than his blood-related cousin.
" what did you do to convince daddy J to get you this" he whistles stalking around the car. I sat inside impatient.
" I deserved this actually, worked hard for it too. Will, you get in already"
I could hear him laugh as he opened the boot and placed his bags inside.
" Please Please Please your mom won't love me if I come empty-handed" Seth begged me as soon as we finished grabbing the pizza.
"Why didn't you get them earlier" I groaned I really didn't want to go anywhere else.
" because I didn't want them to get ruined I thought my favourite cousin would help me out too" what a little shit. Those words might work on my mother but not me.
That's why you're parked in the Tesco carpark right Loretta.
Shut up.
Reluctantly I followed in after my cousin. We looked around the flower section and ended up buying these white orchids which were my mom's favourite. But it's not like she needed anymore.
I grabbed a packet of M&M's on my way through the aisled with Seth.
"Don't you remember when we baked that cake and your dad went crazy on us" Seth reminded me as we passed the bakery section.
How could I forget, he was livid that day but in the end, when two 6-year-olds were staring up at you flour all over them and fingers covered in chocolate you really can't stay mad forever.
"Oh peanut what did you do"
I stared up my dad my fingers feeling sticky and seeing the angry look he was giving me. I instantly felt bad knowing that I did something bad.
"I'm sorry daddy" I lowered my head.
Seth started crying beside me. I placed a hand on his arm. " it's okay sethy I'll take the blame" I whispered into his ear.
I took a brave step forward.
I was prepared to declare full blame when I noticed daddy wasn't angry anymore. No this was my dad smiling.
" You look funny," I said staring up at him.
I was worried that mom would be down soon and that wouldn't be good she can really get angry.
" oh, I look funny now"
I looked down at myself. Realising that I was covered in white and dark brown colours.
I burst out laughing. I fully remember that day and so do my parents.
" Important announcement, can any off duty medics, nurses or firefighters please offer assistance at the Nevada blue hotel on bakers street ... there's been a fire"
I saw the beautiful white Lilies drop from Seth's hands before I even had the time to react.
" Ret c'mon let's go" Seth grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him.
" I'm faster give me the keys" Seth yelled when we arrived at the car.
I barely had any control over my brain or body, Seth ended up taking the keys from me but I realised that it was quicker to go by foot.
"Loretta wait" Yousef shouted after me but I was already halfway around the corner. I ran out of the parking and crossed the street not even caring about the cars passing by and honking.
Sirens were all I could hear as I approached the hotel. The big driveway and entrance were littered with police cars, ambulances and fire engines trying to stop the fire. There was so much smoke I struggled to breathe.
Seth arrived with the car, he practically shoved cones and police tape out of the way as he pulled up.
" Shit," he said his eyes taking in everything. He glanced at me and saw me bent over coughing. He ran back to the car and returned, shoving my inhaler into my hand.
"look, there they are, come on ret they're fine" Seth managed to drag me past the police officers and towards my parents.
Dad was crouched down on the floor his head in his hands as mom embraced him from behind no doubt trying to comfort him.
" Daddy" I whispered crouching down to his level. Mom stepped back and let me in.
Dad lifted his head and stared me dead in the eyes. There was once so much life and energy in those brown eyes and now it's come to this.
" Honey, it's gone" he whispered, his voice sounding broken. I held back the tears as I embraced my dad's large frame. I was completely at a loss for words.
How do you make sense of this?
My dad worked years to get this hotel to where it is now. My dad had a terrible upbringing with his father and ended up leaving home and working absurd hours to be able to afford to start a business with the help of an architecture he met.
I felt bad, sick to my stomach actually because only a year ago the hotel was close to closing due to not being able to keep with our funds. Dad would continue to help me out at uni. When he could have been spending it on this hotel.
"Dad it's not gone, we can still save it," I said bringing his large hands into mine. Many times, dad has wrapped his arms around me comforting me over the stress of uni or a breakup but this time I needed to be there for him.
He didn't say anything.
" Darling the fire is nearly out we can't do much here" dad shook his head at my mom.
"with all due respect sir I think its best if you head home. We have control over the fire now we will provide you with more information throughout the evening" A firefighter said coming over to us.
We ended up having to drag dad away.
The car ride was silent as we made our way back home. I was completely lost for words, mom and Seth were scared to say anything for dad's sake.
What we were greeted with at home was shocking to all of us. Surrounding our house was flowers and signs all showing their support for us. Our neighbourhood was private and quiet so this was strange for us to see.
"oh wow," Seth mumbled pulling into our driveway.
Mom helped Dad out the car and walked up to the house.
I watched him disappear inside the house.
"Retty" I heard someone shout. I turned around just in time to catch my best friend Tammy racing down the driveway. She wrapped her hands around me.
"I'm so sorry babe, I was so worried I thought you were in there" she cried into my shoulder and that was when I broke down.
I was holding it in for so long I continued to cry there as she comforted me. We're in trouble here. We weren't a rich family, running a hotel isn't easy and we have been struggling and now this.
I don't know why but I feel like it was my fault. If I didn't empty my parent's pockets by going to uni and asking for expensive things.
" Hey babe we should go inside the media are coming" I looked around and reporters were pulling up and photos were being taken.
I nodded my head and we walked inside.
When we arrived inside the house I spotted three big mugs on the landing table.
A weak smile made its way onto my face. Hot chocolates were a way of my mom saying it was going to be okay.
But I was stupid enough to think that hot chocolate could solve everything.
Music was always something I enjoyed; I was very passionate about it. When I was in university, I met Tammy who dragged me to the bar and practically shoved me onto the stage.
At that moment I wanted to Kill her for even putting me in that situation but I ended up writing a song and my friends would play it, it was my way of making some money on the side but when my studies kicked in I ended up dropping singing.
This morning I woke up early to go out and find another job. The hotel was under investigation so there wasn't much we could do but someone had to pay the bills. We luckily had insurance but that was solely for the hotel.
I spoke to a few companies about giving me a job but they needed to pass my application to the right people and said that they would get back to me. We all know what that means
I walked through the market after grabbing a burrito and finding somewhere to sit. I kicked off my heels and let my feet breathe.
From a distance, I could see a little boy playing in the street. I grabbed my heels and moved closer.
As I moved closer I recognized the voice it was clear to me that he was already a very good singer, he had this rasp to his voice which suited the song well.
I found myself singing along to the song since it was one of my favourite songs still to this day.
I was in the moment that I didn't realize that the song had finished, I opened my eyes and was momentarily shocked to see the boy standing in front of me. He stood tall with his guitar staring back at me.
" Hi" I waved at him.
He grinned before stepping closer " Hi, do you like to sing too" he asked. It was strange his normal voice was a lot different in comparison to his voice when singing.
" you can tell huh?" I offered him a smile back, he was alone out here in the streets of London so the least I could do was give him an encouraging smile. I would hate to be alone out here singing.
" well, you're the first person to stop and listen and sing along. Would you sing with me, my next song?" I stared at him.
Sing
I haven't done that in such a long time, especially in public too.
"what song do you want to do next?" I asked him as I went to stand next to him. I don't know what made me want to join him but what have I got to lose, plus it would be a great distraction from all the stress right now.
Thomas whispered a song into my ear and I eagerly nodded my head liking his taste of music.
I could hear a few voices behind, I peek over my shoulder and see that we have a large forming crowd behind us.
A few other street musicians walk towards us and they talk to Thomas for a brief moment before we all sit down.
I'm guessing it's not just me. " Hey I'm Justin and this is Jessie" they introduced themselves.
smiling I take a seat next to Thomas and give him a bright smile telling him I'm ready.
We played Thomas's song, he chose a James bay song which none of us complained about. I was singing with him but I couldn't take my eyes away from the happy look on his face.
We finished the song and listened as the people around us started to clap and cheer.
Before I even have time to look at Thomas, he comes running into me nearly knocking me over. I laugh little rubbing his glossy blonde hair.
"Thank you thank you Retta." I laughed as I hugged him back. It was my pleasure. As I looked at him closely I noticed that he had tears in his eyes. I quickly knelt down and embraced. " hey Thomas why are you crying, I hope that these are happy tears," I say to him trying to lift the mood.
Eventually, Thomas lifted his hand and showed me what was in this hand. " Thomas, where did you get al this, close your hand quickly," I said thinking about what would happen if people saw him carrying that much cash.
" I saw someone come by and put it in my hat, I can't take this all you all helped me sing I should share it with you," he said staring at the wad of cash in his hand. This wasn't just some 10-pound notes or anything. There was a couple of '50s in there too.
" No kid, we were just helping you you're the real star of the day that's all yours," one of the musicians said coming to stand next to me.
" although a boy could use some money for lunch" One of the girls that joined us slapped this guy round the head. He was obviously joking.
I turned to Thomas " hear that. Look if you're really that worried I can find out who gave the money, do you remember what he looked like" I asked him.
His eyes lit up " yes, I've seen him on tv before." he grabbed his phone from his pocket and went straight to Instagram.
"I saw him too. Its kind of impossible not to notice him with that gorgeous body in that Armani suit and tie, damn I could really " The girl fangirled over this man. How did I not notice this, I was literally right next to Thomas. He must have worked fast.
" hey, that's Nathaniel Tesoro, he's the rich guy who donates to art schools," the guy said looking over Thomas's shoulder where he pulled on a picture.
Tesoro, that name rings a bell.
"Girl, how do you not recognise him," Jessie says staring at me.
" to be fair that photo is not what people see when they hear that name" Justin swiped left and picked a post where he was now in his all-black suit.
Now as i actually look at it i can start to recognise him from online but nothing that really matters to me.
" alright well Thomas. For the meantime, you keep the money okay and i will find out from this guy and let you know. Here take my number" i grabbed his phone and added myself into his contacts and send a message to myself.
He seemed reluctant but i really wasn't giving him a choice.
"Okay" he finally nodded.
" was really nice to meet you all by the way and thanks for letting us play with you Thomas" Justin said as he grabbed Jessie's hand. They gave Thomas a quick hug and then me.
I made sure Thomas got in a taxi home before I left to find this guy.
I pulled out my phone and searched him in google. It came with a lot of articles but I finally found what I was looking for. I clicked on his companies website and located his building. It made more sense when his building wasn't far from here.
Now as I see the name printed over the big building in the centre of London I realised that I recognise the business name more than the man himself. My dad worked here when he was younger, I knew that. I think my dad used to have meetings here all the time back when he was into architecture, I'm sure he did his apprenticeship here when he was younger too, but I can't be sure.
I walked inside quickly. I was surprised i was even allowed through the lobby doors but i still had to make it through reception which was going to be more difficult.
" Hello darling, how can i help you," a lovely older woman said walking up towards me. She scared the living daylights out of me.
" yes actually, is there any chance i could talk with Mr Tesoro," i asked her. There was no point in lying i was hoping she would appreciate my honesty.
" Sorry darling but he only speaks with people who have an appointment" she explained sadly. I sighed, i was expecting that response so i wasn't too surprised.
He must be quite busy and i doubt he wants to spend his time speaking to a girl like me.
Maybe i could just slide into his Dm's. i could even do it on the hotel account, not like my parents would know.
I really thought my luck was off but from the corner of my eye, I spotted him. He was running up the large staircase with a woman following him quickly. The woman in front of me eyed me suspiciously.
I ran over to the stairs " Mr Tesoro" i shouted, desperate to get his attention.
He paused at the top of the stairs. I breathed deeply relieved. He slowly turned around and i knew from the look he gave me he knew exactly who i was. Maybe not from the hotel but rather from 20 minutes ago.
" let her come up," he said loudly at the woman in front of me. She was sceptical but i guess whatever he says goes.
She allowed me to go up. Everyone around me stopped to stare. Probably wondering what business I have with their boss.
Nathaniel didn't stop to wait for me but instead headed straight to his office.
" Okay, you're very lucky to even get the time with Nate so make it quick he has a meeting in 10 minutes," the woman said walking up to me, she handed me a visitor lanyard. I guessed this was his assistant.
I guess she was on a nickname basis with him. Makes me think shes showing off to me that maybe they are closer than just colleagues. Not like i cared that much anyway.
She left me alone quickly when her mobile started to ring.
The door leading to his office was open slightly. I slowly stepped inside.
As I walk into the office, I'm surprised at how messy it is, papers are scattered everywhere on his desk and floor. Seems like he has had a rough morning.
When I scan the room there are no decorations, no picture frames on his walls or his desk and not a comfy chair in sight. I'm guessing that he doesn't spend much time looking for comfort in his office but Isn't this supposed to be an architectural company.
"Take a seat " he says bluntly.
"Thank you" I say quietly almost like a whisper. I always seem to be more confident with eyes on me or with a group of people but being alone with Nathanial Testoro is proving to be very difficult. He is extremely intimidating.
Taking a deep breath I slide my tongue along my lips to try and wet my lips from their dryness caused by being nervous.
"I just wanted to come here and ask you about what you did earlier you know down the street I know it was you who left the money" I asked him.
Finally, I look towards him, he has a thoughtful expression on his face. All of a sudden, his eyes widen and he becomes angry " " I really thought you'd be different. All you women are exactly the same" he says clearly annoyed.
I don't understand why he is so angry. " I don't think you understand" I said narrowing my eyes at him. If he's implying that I am just here for more money he is sadly mistaken.
" oh I do though. I suggest you leave here and refrain yourself from seriously embarassing yourself. Try to not use men for money, its an ugly quality" he snaps pointing over to his door. He pressed down on a button and spoke. " Come and escort her out and meet me in the conference room"
Was he seriously not going to let me speak. Just judge me like this.
I wasn't going to let him talk to me like that. I walked up to his desk and grabbed a pen and paper. I scribbled down the number for Thomas quickly. "I am not here to ask you for more money, I am here because that boy wanted me to find you. He wants to know if they money was all for him, since he wanted to share it all. I cant stand to hear another word coming from your mouth so when youre not sucking your own dick, give that boy a ring" I slammed the paper into his chest.
Men were infuriating sometimes.
I don't know if I was seeing things or was that guilt in his eyes. But he must be crazy if he thought I was going to ignore the fact that he accused me of being a gold digger.
The moment the door opened revealing his assistant I stormed out, not bothering to wait for her. I just wanted to get out of here.
I was desperate to get out of there. I ripped off the lanyard and left it on the front desk. The minute I stepped outside I booked an uber to pick me up and take me home. I was too emotional to find another way to get home.
After catching a taxi, I arrived back home.
I quickly kicked off my shoes and unzipped my dress before slipping in my bedsheets cover me. It was way too early for sleep but I didn't know what else I could do, this Nathaniel just ruined my whole mood.
A loud banging wakes me up from sleep. I sit up rubbing eyes and checking my phone for the time. It was 8 in the morning. Had I really slept for that long? I'm surprised my parents didn't come in and check on me.
"What a Surprise " I mutter earning a scowl from my best friend as she storms into my room.
"So dear Retty why am I seeing less of the Kardashians and more of my best friend on the news?" Of course, she would, wait what the news.
"Oh god, you don't know, " tam says mortified. She pushed her phone into my chest before heading to the kitchen probably to pour herself a drink. Alcoholic of course.
She pulled up a video on one of those entertainment accounts and the information was there. Nathaniel can be seen walking out of his building as the reporters ambush him with questions.
The video was followed with footage of us playing on the street and then it goes on to talk about the connection between myself and Nathaniel' family.
"So, what happened when you went to Mr gazillionaires place then did you get down and dirty did you finally lose that virginity sign you have marked on your forehead. " Tammy always has to bring in my virginity thing every time.
I toss her phone on the sofa to the sitting room and head to the kitchen.
"I will never do anything with men the likes of him," I say annoyed as I think about yesterday all over again. Tammy looked at me strangely, her eyes squinting as she gave me an 'are you serious look'.
"What, the hot, gorgeous and sexy type you're telling me you never want to jump onto that waggon, give me a break Retty you'd be stupid not to, and you had the chance this morning and you blew it, you've let down the entire female population."
I'm not quite sure if she's annoyed, Angry or upset I mean she looks angry and sounds upset.
This girl is giving me mixed signals. Tammy, she always looked after me we became friends in university and now we are getting an apartment together.
She's always trying to set me up with boys younger and older but I just was never into it, guys just want one thing nowadays, a simple hump and jump. And I can't give that to them, I'm not experienced and I want my first time to be special I know that sounds lame and everything but it's true.
My parents, they were first-timers for both of them they met when they were both 25 at a party thrown in London it was my Uncles party and he set them up and they hit it off. I want what they had and, I want to meet someone and be attracted to them and want them and for them to want me.
The first year of uni I met this guy it was freshers I didn't drink neither did he at the time and we hit it off we were in the same course so we had the same interests and it was great.
But the next night when we went out together, he was drunk extremely drunk he tried to take advantage of me when I went out for some fresh air, and that was when I met Tammy, she saved me from being raped and I'm so thankful to have her, she may always try to set me up but she will never let me date someone without asking him questions and doing the whole 'you hurt her, you die' she took English literature she has an act for being very theatrical.
"Hello, Loretta" tammy questions, waving her slim tiny hand in my face.
"Oh sorry, I was just thinking about. "
"Nathaniel Tesoro, yeah I know hun," she said knowingly.
" I get that he's successful and good looking but whatever is beneath that body is darn right ugly," I said.
"What do you mean " she questions me.
"What I mean is he's cold-hearted and insulting. He accused me of being a gold digger and was incredibly rude for someone he only just met"
"Oh, Retty I'm sorry". I shake my head at her. "No, it's okay he doesn't know me and he's never going to get the chance to, egotistical jerk"
I mutter pouring myself a glass of red wine, I don't actually like wine but it's there if I'm feeling sad or depressed. It really does the trick
"you know what dear Retty we're going to go out tonight, you need to let loose we are hitting the town tonight so take a shower"
Slightly confused I send her a look. "Girl you stink don't give me that Look."
I have nothing to wear.
"Tammy nothing fits me anymore my ass has gotten too big," I say frustrated while throwing random pieces of clothing across the room.
"Shut the fuck up bitch, you just don't want to show any of those legs you've got going on, your dresses are fine now wear that midnight blue one"
"The one with the cutouts, " I ask.
"Yes, that one I bought that for you but you haven't even worn it, " tam says annoyed
"Fine pumps or strappy heels," I ask looking over my collection of shoes.
"Strappy of course " Sighing, I grab my dress and head for the shower. Tam is right I do stink I might need to wash twice maybe three times to actually become worthy of being outside my bedroom.
After my shower me and Tammy ended up staying home all day and watching Dynasty, it was our obsession.
By the time we were going insane just being in my room, we decided to get ready together.
2 hours later we're in an Uber on our way to kook, kook is an amazing night club it's actually pretty new but I've heard it's a really popular one. Many of our guests from Nevada hotel go to that club and let me tell you something they don't always come back sober.
"Promise me you'll have fun tonight Retty", Tammy says grabbing hold of my hand. I nod my head sending her a weak smile. After a few drinks, I should be able to let loose and have some fun.
"We're here" tammy shouts as she jumps out of the taxi.
"Sorry "I quickly say to the taxi driver handing him the money, "she drank before".
"Keep the change, " I say quickly following Tammy inside.
"I'm going to get us some drinks okay", I shout over the music as I point in the direction of the bar. It wasn't too late so the bar didn't have a long line.
"Sure, babe meet me in that section over there" she points to a seating area in the corner.
I shimmy my way over to the bar ordering two sets of tequila shots and vodka mixes.
I make my way to Tammy and immediately stop in my tracks at what I see before me. Tammy my best friend talking to none other than Nathaniel.
The devil himself.
I turned back around before he could see me. I didn't want to even be near him, who would Tammy be talking to him.
Tammy doesn't seem to be talking but I know she is listening, Nathaniel must be doing all the talking.
Probably spouting some lies to her. No doubt he's seen the article about what actually happened but even with that I know how he really feels about me and I don't want to hear another word from his mouth.
"Would you like to dance miss"
A voice from behind says. I turn around to see a very handsome man he looks to be in his early 30's he is wearing a clean-cut suit and has the most cutest dimples ever.
Nodding I take his hand and lead us both to the dance floor.
Luckily for me, my friend is tonight's Dj, I signal for him to play a slower song, not so slow that we need to slow dance but just enough to set the mood. Gold slugs by Dj Khaled comes on, perfect.
For a while, we just move together but his dancing is a little weird so I quickly link him with some chick who's been staring at him for the last 20 minutes.
I never had a problem with dancing alone it's when I feel the most comfortable, I start to move to the music, swaying my hips while I run my hands through my hair and down my body, soon tammy joins me moving in the same way as me but suddenly pulls a guy to dance with us.
Thinking that I'm becoming outnumbered I step out and walk over to the bar again.
"I'll have a margarita please," I say to the bartender who's talking to a man who I can't see since he has his back to me. The girl seems to be annoyed by my presence so she just carries on talking to him. Blatantly ignoring me.
"Hello, can I please get a drink," I say frustrated with this woman.
I was about to turn around and get out of this place before a voice pulls me back. Very familiar, the same huskiness and power. Him
Nathaniel Tesoro
He was standing behind the bar making me a drink, he's removed his jacket so now his muscles are more visible for me to see and for my attention to become diverted, great.
"your margarita, sorry for the wait I will make sure she is fired," he says shrugging his jacket back on. I nod silently taking a sip from my drink. I managed to go by my word of not speaking to him.
Wow, he can actually make a drink, there I was thinking he had no talent. Which is pretty ignorant of me actually. How can he make sure she is fired you'd have to be the boss, wait oh, of course, Nathaniel obviously owns this club. Businessmen always like to have their foot in a lot of different enterprises.
I quickly finish my drink slamming the glass back on the bar. I quickly scan my eyes over the club hoping to spot Tammy somewhere . I find her she's in that seating area with a few other girls. Tammy has an act for making friends when we are out.
She's seeing someone too so I doubt she will be flirting with any guys.
I start walking through the crowd heading towards my best friend. I offer my apologies to all the people I accidentally nudge, but only earn some disgusted faces when they realise it's me who pushed them.
Walking through the crowd my mind casts back to a certain brown-eyed billionaire. Lost in my thoughts i suddenly feel a strong arm circling my waist, it pulls me toward a chest a rather hard chest.
The harsh impact causes me to fall slightly which makes my hair fall down on my face covering my features completely.
A finger is placed under my chin where my head is pushed upwards. I still can't see anything but somehow it doesn't matter right now. The way his fingers are so gentle on my skin.
Butterflies erupt in my stomach, if it wasn't for his tight hold on me, I would be on the floor with my weak legs.
" Can we talk, I really need to talk to you, Loretta?" Nathaniel says.
" I think you've said enough Nathaniel. I have to go" I pushed away from him and stumbled back to Tammy who looked at me with worry.
She nods at me while grabbing both our purses before leading us out the back of the club.
As soon as I'm outside I stop. I'm gasping for air my chest feels right almost like I can't breathe his
When we arrived back at the house I laid down on my bed after kicking off my heels. Tammy stood at the side of the bed just staring at me.
"You like him don't you," Tammy says still staring at me.
"No I don't have a crush on him he's just really intimidating," I say playing with the material on my dress. She sends me a weird look before she heads to her room probably to get some sleep.
I don't know but he seemed calmer and more genuine when he asked to speak to me tonight. I knew that by now he would have understood the meaning on my visit today and probably heard from his family about my parents too.
Would I be stupid to give him the chance to really say sorry?
I slowly get underneath my blanket and drift off into a sweet slumber with only one person on my mind.
