Here we go again

At Banshee's house

"Alyssa, you are trying to rush things. I can't just go about casting spells all willy nilly" Banshee could be heard trying to correct her daughter about something.

"Mum, I am not asking you to do much. All I need is just one little spell that I can use on Lakshmi. She is the only thing that is blocking my path right now" Alyssa tried to make her mum understand.

"No Alyssa, the only thing hindering you right now is your laziness. I never expected you to be this lazy.

You are the one that claims you have feelings for Scott so I feel you should be working towards making him like you.

And as for Lakshmi, I feel you just need to get yourself in her good books" Banshee was packing Alyssa's lunch in her school bag while Alyssa was having her breakfast.

"You think I am not trying mum? I am but.." Alyssa suddenly choked on her food.

"But what Alyssa?" Her mum raised an eyebrow as she handed her some water.

"But it's not as easy as you think. Lakshmi isn't the type of person you can easily trick into liking you or doing what you want. She is just.... Well... I don't know how to describe her" Alyssa was getting fed up even by her own words.

"I know Alyssa.... You have to go to school now. When you come back we will talk about this more. And don't forget what I told you...try to get in her good books" she kissed her daughter on the forehead.

At Mia's school

"You have a long face?" Mia blurted out to her friend Lakshmi,who was busy searching for something in her unorganized locker.

"What?" Lakshmi stopped her actions at once as she began to touch her face, checking if it had grown longer than its normal length.

Then she took a sudden pause... It took her a while but she managed to understand what Mia meant by her having a long face.

"It's nothing Mia....I am fine" Lakshmi tried to lie as she slammed the door of her locker.

"Humans normally lie when they feel it's important to...so I am not going to ask you why you are lying" Mia had a faint smile as she opened Lakshmi's locker and began organizing it.

"Did she just tell me plainly that I was lying to her" Lakshmi thought in her head.

"Yes I did," Mia replied as she had already started sorting out Lakshmi's books, putting the big ones beneath and the smaller ones on top.

"I'm not surprised" Lakshmi blinked her eyes numerous times. She knew Mia was reading her mind but she just didn't want to ask any questions about it.

Already the whole situation was messed up, she didn't want any further complications.

"Hey" Alyssa greeted the girls with a box of chocolates in her hand.

"H...ii.." both girls said at the same time, looking so stunned and lost.

"How was your night Lakshmi?" Alyssa had a very big smile on her face.

"It...was...fine. I ... guess" Lakshmi had a very confused look written all over her face as she managed to take the box of chocolate from Alyssa.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alyssa asked.

"Okay fine... I know what you are thinking. You must be thinking I poisoned these right? But no.. I'll prove it" Alyssa added when she noticed that none of the girls had a reply.

She took one of the chocolates and ate the whole thing. But then the bell was rung and all the kids hurried to class.

"Do you plan to eat that?" Mia asked Lakshmi as they both made their way to class.

"Even if a gun was pointed to my head... I won't still eat this" Lakshmi threw the chocolates in the nearest dustbin as she cleaned her hands with the rag in her bag.

When the two girls entered the class, Alyssa noticed that neither of them was holding the box of chocolate and that really angered her. How long were they going to ruin her plans? How much more would she have to try?.

Banshee's POV

At the castle

I rolled my eyes when I saw that the King was in the swimming pool with 6 girls wearing nothing but a p*nt and br* that barely covered them.

I watched as he laid back and rested on the walls of the pool while he sipped his wine, he didn't even take any notice of me.

"Ahem" I cleared my throat so he could realize that I was standing there.

He turned to look at me as he gave them some kind of signal to leave the place.

"You didn't inform me that you were coming" the King slowly made his way out of the pool with a white towel wrapped around his waist.

"I never knew it was now a law for me to inform you about my arrival. I am sorry your majesty" I said as I took a bow.

"Banshee you just.." the King said as he was short of words. Who wouldn't be after such sarcasm had been thrown at them?.

"Have a sit" he offered as I sat on the chair that was well positioned under the shade that was not too far from the pool.

"So what brings you here?... Maybe you want me to continue from where I stopped the other day?" The King looked at me seductively as he brought his face closer to mine in an attempt to kiss me but I stood up from the chair quickly.

"These days.. I feel that you have gone mad or something. Anyways I have come here to discuss the plan... we don't have much time left.

The full moon is almost here" I folded my lips and my eyes as my eyes began to change their colors as I turned away from him facing another direction.

"Sorry.. I never meant to make you upset. But whatever it is you are planning we have to discuss it inside" he looked around to see his guards and maids standing not too far from us.

"Relax.. no one can hear us. I made sure of that" I smirked as I had already casted a deaf spell on the guards and maids even before I made the King notice my arrival.

At Mara's school

"I have warned you on several occasions to stop blocking my path.

If you try this next time then I might just forget my hand on your face Wendy" Mara pointed her index finger at a girl who should be older than her by a year or two.

"Firsty you shouldn't ever call my name in such a manner and secondly I wouldn't have to be blocking your path if you just stayed away from Oscar like I asked you.

I don't know why it's so difficult for you to understand?" Wendy folded her lips and pressed on them as she turned back to look at her four friends who stood behind her.

Mara rolled her eyes in disgust.. she just couldn't believe that a girl so young had already begun to block the path of her fellow girl over a boy.

"Wendy I really think you should get your brains checked.. because something might be wrong with you but you are yet to find out" Mara rested her hand on the handle of her school bag as she wanted to walk past the girls but they created some kind of human wall, blocking her path.

"Sorry Mara but you have had enough warnings. Today I will have to teach you a lesson" Wendy smirked as she made wicked eye contacts with her friends.

"So let me get this straight. You waited all day for school to be over.. you are currently in detention and you gathered a bunch of morons to block my path because you want us to fight" Mara raised both her eyebrows as she tilted her head in disbelief.

"You can put it in any way your tiny brain can process it" Wendy was still being so stubborn as she insisted on fighting with Mara who just wanted to go home so she could be on time for her next delivery.

"Wendy, please get out of my way. I'm begging you... if you don't I am going to be late for work and my boss isn't going to be happy with me so please move'' Mara was calm as she placed her two palms together and was begging this Wendy of a girl who really didn't care if she was late for work or if work was late for her.

"Show her we aren't joking" Wendy somehow ordered her friends as two of them tried to attack Mara but she just carefully slid to the left making them both fall on the floor.

"Relax Mara.. there is no need to beat her up. You don't need to carry out a face surgery on her. You can do this.. you are bigger than this" Mara kept on breathing in and out as she whispered to herself.

She was trying everything she could not to touch this Wendy girl but Wendy raised her hand towards Mara in an attempt to slap her.

Mara held her hand in mid air and kicked her in the stomach before twisting Wendy's arm and beding it towards her back while her other hand was wrapped around Wendy's neck.

"Mara..uuh..ah.. you...uh..going..to..kill..me" Wendy kept on stammering as she struggled for air, she needed to breathe as it felt like Mara was strangling her and was about to kill her.

"Really??.... I want to kill you? I was walking peacefully on my own when you and these morons decided to block my path.

And when I pleaded with you to stay clear from me you just blocked your ears and now I fight back you say I want to kill you??" Mara was really fed up and she didn't know how much of it she could take.

She had been restricting herself for too long and she just felt like strangling Wendy.

"Don't you even think about it, four of you" she warned the girls who tried to come close to her to attack her.

No one needed to tell them to use their brains as they all moved back, creating a great distance between themselves and Mara.

They knew who Mara was and she wasn't going to take any bullsh*t from nobody.

"M..a..ra" Wendy struggled to free herself from Mara's grip but she was too strong for her. It felt like she was being pinned down by a metal hand or something.

"I am not a bad person so I am going to leave you off with a warning this time but the next time you even think about such. I promise to become your worst nightmare and also your worst enemy" Mara whispered in Wendy's ear giving Wendy goosebumps all over.

She threw Wendy to the floor and picked up her school bag before walking away. She stopped when she got to a distance.

"Oh and tell that Oscar of a guy to stay away from me as well. I don't have the strength for the nonsense you guys are doing okay.. bye" she waved at Wendy before leaving.

Mara's POV

"You are late...again" Keren scolded me as she sat on the bed of the hotel.

"I'm sorry" I tried to apologize.

"What's your excuse this time?" She rolled her eyes and picked up a newspaper before she crossed her legs.

"Well I..." I wanted to explain but she just waved her hands in the air without taking her eyes off the newspaper.

"It's okay.. I don't want to hear it anyways. Now I want you to listen to me carefully.

This isn't just an ordinary delivery because you will be going close to the border" she looked up at me to check if I was paying attention which clearly I was not.

"Mara!" She called out.

"Are you sure you want to make this delivery today?" She asked as it looked like I lacked the confidence.

"Yes... just run through what I need to do" I shook my head trying to clear my mind of the unnecessary thoughts I was having.

"How do you want me to do that when you aren't even paying attention to me? What's on your mind now?" Keren raised her voice a little as she wanted to sound as gentle as she used to and I could tell that she was getting frustrated.

"I'm sorry ma'am Keren.... What I am thinking isn't important and I promise I'm listening so just tell me what I need to do" I assured her as I focused all my attention on her and listened to her while she talked.

Close to the border of the country

Mara's POV

"Oscar!" I called out in a fright when I turned around to look at the person that tapped me gently.

"Yes Mara.. it's me.. what are you doing here and why do you look so scared?" He asked me as he gave me a suspicious look.

As if taunting me in school wasn't enough and now he is here as well??... What should I do? How do I get this delivered?

"Actually I came to see someone but I got the location all wrong and now I am finding it difficult to find my way out" I lied trying to act calm. That was a skill I learnt from ma'am Keren anyways.

"Who is the person ? And how could you be so wrong with a location that you ended up so close to the border?" He continued to ask me questions.

I tactically kept on looking around to check for the lady I was meant to deliver the goods to.

"Who or what are you looking for?" He shaked me a little when he noticed I had gone completely quiet.

"I was looking if I would see the person....maybe I didn't get the location too wrong" I faked a smile.

"Hmmn. You really.." he paused because he was interrupted when my phone rang.

"Hello.. are you done?" Ma'am Keren spoke from the other end of the phone..only I could hear what she was saying and I was going to use it to my advantage.

"Hello...babe.. I have been waiting for you for over an hour and you haven't shown up.

I am at the border as instructed and I haven't seen any sign of you. I just met someone from my school here" I answered hoping that Keren would pick up a hint.

"That's my boyfriend" I told Oscar as I had a big smile on my face.

"Ohhh...I...see. Okay so what is this person doing there?" Keren asked.

"He is asking me what you are doing here Oscar? Are you also lost?" I also began to interrogate Oscar.

"I...I..I...when... Bye baby girl I have to go now" he scratched the back of his head before he ran away.

I shook my head and wondered

"Maybe everyone has a skeleton or two in their cupboard".

Not too long after Oscar left. I saw the lady approaching me. I dropped the bag on the floor as Keren had instructed and was walking away like nothing happened.

I watched the lady pick up the bag from the floor as she gave me a smile after we had walked some distance away from each other.

At Mia's school

"Lakshmi you are going to hurt yourself if you aren't careful with that?" Mia kept on warning her friend who didn't want to pay any attention to her whatsoever.

Lakshmi kept on playing with a gadget they found in the classroom...not just her but the whole class just saw it when they came into school.

No one knew where it came from and no one cared, they didn't even know what it was but then as Mia tried to touch it the way others did she felt something.

She felt a kind of negative energy.. it was like a signal for her to stay as far away as she could from whatever that gizmo was.

"Don't!" Mia scolded as Lakshmi's stretched her hand towards it. Mia even went as far as dragging Lakshmi out of the classroom just to avoid the gizmo or whatever it was.

"Mia you are just too careful for my liking" Lakshmi rolled her eyes in a ridiculous manner.

"That thing is very dangerous" Mia warned her friend

"And how do you know?" Lakshmi was being strong headed which Mia felt was out of the ordinary.

"I don't know how... but I just felt it's bad" Mia nodded her head vertically as her fingers were entwined with one another and she kept on playing with them.

"Come I'll show you that there is nothing to be scared of" Lakshmi shook her head as she pulled Mia's arm, dragging Mia with her into the classroom.

"I take back my words.." Lakshmi staggered at the entrance of the classroom when she saw all her classmates acting as if they were zombies, not just zombies but minions to Alyssa.

Alyssa was putting on a black dress that covered her neck all the way to the back of her head.

She sat on a throne that was floating in mid air with her holding a septa in her right hand and laughing out loud in a deep and loud voice. The class was windy and black dust had covered everywhere.

Apart from Alyssa's voice the only thing that could be heard was the heavy noise of the wind blowing leaves that somehow got into the classroom which now looked like a dark hidden forest.

"I am your queen and you are my slaves is that understood?" She said in a very deep hoarse voice that sounded like it came from a male lion. She waved her septa in the air and the whole room became darker, do dark that one could barely see their own palms.

"All hail queen Alyssa" everyone was chanting and Lakshmi brought out her phone to record the whole thing for Scott.

"Let's get out of here before she traps us too" Mia tried to get her friend away from the place but in an attempt to turn around she bumped into her teacher.

"And where are you girls off to?" The teacher raised her eyebrow as she looked very mean to both girls.

"We.. ehr..we" Lakshmi kept on stammering...looking for a good lie to tell the teacher but she couldn't come up with anything.

"You guys are really giving off negative attitudes lately. Lakshmi I expected it from you, but Mia? You were so gentle and focused on your education despite being autistic. But now I don't know what to say about either of you.

Your grades are good but your attitudes aren't" the teacher felt disappointed as she walked into the classroom that now looked normal.

Alyssa was reading a textbook while the other students seemed to be carrying out their normal activities of discussing with one another

The gismo was gone, both girls looked at each other and shrugged.

After all they had found out about Alyssa,they weren't surprised. They just sat down quietly to take the class.
