Chapter 1

Luciano's POV

I sat in my desk in my office. Yea I'm the CEO of "ONEX" companies. I'm 27 years. 27 and frustrated. Damn miserable. I wish my dad never passed his demonic powers to me. Now I'm the most powerful beast in the whole of Italy; the world in fact. Let me tell you all a story. More like my story. How I inherited this devilish powers.

*19 YEARS AGO*

I was born blind but I was happy because of the family I had. I once had a wonderful family. My mom Lois Gamóra, my Dad Iniàgo Gomóra, my elder brother and his twin Inigo and Sarah. I was the last child. We lived in Italy. because that's where my dad company was. I was eight that time and very little while my siblings were fifteen years old. I was in the garden one Saturday when it started raining. It was very odd because it was supposed to be snowing. Later heavy breeze started blowing. I became scared because I couldn't see a thing but I knew something was off.

"Luciano!" My mom screamed from inside the house

"Mom!" I ran into his house. I found my mom. I ran into her arms

"Mom what's happening?" I asked with fear in my voice

"don't worry baby, I'll protect you. Inigo take him inside"

That was when I realized Inigo was standing there with Sarah. I could hear something rather someone snarling like a wolf or a demon.

"Inigo?"

"Come little bro" Sarah grabbed me. I was damn scared. What's happening?

They pushed the table in the kitchen and opened the floor. "What there's a basement in this house?"

"Hide here Lucian okay" Inigo said

"Inigo what's happening? Are we safe?" I asked as I touched his face trying to feel his expression but his face was rough and I felt horns on his head. Out of fear I pulled my hands away

"We're safe, don't be afraid. No matter what happens, don't leave this place. Take this chain and stay safe" Sarah pulled a chain necklace from her pocket and put it around my neck. She kissed my cheeks

"We love you" the basement was closed.

I was hearing sounds of struggles, fights and some lashes of power, thunder.... I was suffocated. I wanted to save my family. Out of disobedience, I came out of the basement but, I didn't hear any sound.

"mom" I fearfully tiptoed to the living room. The place seemed scattered, filled with broken glasses because I stepped on some glasses and I could smell blood, I tried to gulp down but the lump in my throat couldn't go down. I kicked something hard. I stooped down to feel what I kicked, I gasped and closed my mouth. It was somebody's head.

I tried not to puke as tears welled up to my eyes. The head started rotating.

"Lucian....." it spoke

"Arrrghhhhh!!" I screamed loudly. Thunder struck immediately I screamed.

I felt presence behind me. They were growling. I gulped hard as I slowly turned to their direction. I couldn't see but I felt it was the most fearful thing ever. I didn't know how I came to find out that it was a demon with six long and crocked horns, long and sharp fangs, four hands with long claws and two black wings and it was damn tall. I was damn right scared.

"Arrrrrrrgh!" I screamed and fell on my feet

"Hahaha you were born of her" the creature said. It was like 50 more voices were talking. He walked slowly to me as I shifted back. He matched the head I felt earlier making blood to splash everywhere

"Dad!" I screamed... "Please don't harm me"

"Get away from my son" dad spoke behind the monster.

The monster snapped its head quickly to dad

"Exactly who I was looking for...Draco" the monster said. What's happening here. It's like dad knows this guy. Where's mom and Sarah and Inigo? Are they dead.

"You're a damn bastardized Coward, Suwaizo, to come into my home, kill my men, kill my son Inigo and capture my daughter. And now you're threatening my baby...if you wanted a fight, you would have invited me to the realm. I would so enjoy killing you"

What? Inigo is dead? Sarah is gone... Mom!

"You underestimate me Cousin. I've killed your heir. Now let me see how you'll pass the gift unto your urchins"

Dad laughed "you forget I've got another son too"

"He's a weakling Dante, don't depend on him"

"How dare you...." my dad's voice changed into something demonic.

"Dad?"

"Find your mom Luciano... Hurry" he growled

"Dad.." Suddenly something pulled me out of the living room. It was a tail. A snake's tail. It pulled me towards the garden. I felt a connection with it, thesame connection I use to feel with Mom. Wait a sec! Mom?

I was right. The snake turned into mom. She tried to hug me but I pushed her away.

"Don't touch me mom...you guys are all monsters" I yelled but she closed my mouth.

"Baby they'll hear you. Suwaizo's men are every where"

"Mom who are they? They killed Inigo and took Sarah. He's mean" I cried bitterly.

"Shh! Baby it's ok.. One day you'll understand. Just know I love you very much. I can't explain everything to you immediately but someone will guide you to realize your powers...."

"I don't want to be a monster mom. And that monster said I'm....."

"You're not a weakling Lucian okay"

How did she...

"I heard them.." She cried

"Who are you mom?..." I asked, I really wanted to know what was going on, I was lost

She cleaned her tears.. "Baby..."

"Mom please"

She inhaled sharply "I'm the queen of all serpents Luciano" she cried "please don't hate me..I'm a demon I know. But I never stopped loving you baby"

I cupped her cheeks with my small hands "I can never hate you momma..." I hugged her

"It's time for me to go"

"What?" I broke the embrace

"Uncle DeLuca will guide you.."

"Where will you go"

"The realm.. But I'll come back for you baby..." She kissed my cheeks

Just then, I heard rustling in the bush and a snarl I thought it was one of the demons so I held unto my mother's arm

"it's okay baby it's your uncle DeLuca"

"Am I late Lois? I just came from inside. Inìago is gone dear. I'm sorry..."

"What daddy..." I screamed and ran out of the bush we were hiding. But, DeLuca grabbed me back.

"Luciano No!"

"Dad is gone uncle" I sobbed bitterly

"We need to go Lucian...you're not safe here"

"I love you baby" mom kissed me and disappeared

DeLuca made he and I to disappear too. We appeared in his house.

"Stay here Lucian, I'll be back" he said and went into a upstairs

"Ok" I sat on a comfortable couch. I was sad about everything that just happened. suddenly, I felt something wet on my legs, like a dog licking on my feet. I felt scared because I thought it was a demon

"Arghh! Uncle DeLuca help!" I screamed as I climbed the couch

Surprisingly, the creature started talking and it sounded like my cousin Enrique.

"Enrique?"

He was laughing really loud "sure scared you cousin"

"What! Enrique? You're a demon too"

"No beast. It's uncle Inìago that's a demon"

My chest tightened at the Mention of dad

"Dad is dead Enrique" I started sobbing

"I'm sorry Couz"

"Boys!" DeLuca said behind us

"Dad! Is it true that uncle Inìago..."

"Yes.. Luciano I'm sorry... But I have to train you. You're the last demon on earth and many creatures tend to kill you if they find out..."

"but uncle, I'm blind how can I train without my vision?" I asked

"Son, you're a Gamóra your lack of sight Will not hinder you from being who you're. I'll train you to use your beastly senses to see what your eyes can't see"

"I'm ready uncle" I nodded.

Uncle DeLuca trained me to a full blooded demon. I can turn to anything I wanted. Lion, a beast, bear, eagle wolf..anything you can think of. Not only that, I can also smell fear. I can detect if one is saying the truth or not. I can see through someone's past. I can also smell danger from a distance. My training was complete in 5 years but, mom never came back. We left Italy when I was 18 years old cuz the demons started looking for me. We came to New York to be safe and also to expand dad's business.

CHAPTER 2

LUCIANO's POV🖤🖤🖤🖤

I've just finished a meeting with the Dubai investors. I'm presently in my office, on a couch, thinking of my hopeless life. Thinking about where my sister could be. Is she alright.

Suddenly, I felt a presence around me. Using my beast sense, I knew it was cousin Enrique. He has been doing this for ages(rolling my eyes) he makes himself invisible for me not to see him so that he could scare me. But I already know his trick so it's getting boring.

"So che sei cugino, mostrati" I huffed and rolled my eyes

(Italian: I know it's you cousin, just show yourself)

He then became visible. Enrique is a well built guy, as tall as me, muscular with blue orbs(cuz he's a wolf) he has jet black hair that matched his tan skin. I know all this because I use my beastly orbs to see.

"Che cosa? Si chiama, "LA voce drammatica" he chuckled and sat down on the couch

(What? It's called "the dramatic entry")

"Oh please give me a break. And shouldn't you be in France with Scarlet?"

He scratched his hair

"What?" I cocked my brow

"Nothing" he sighed wearily

He was lying. I studied him...his heart was beating faster than usual, he was sweating, his pulse was racing.. I saw his past. What happened 3 weeks ago.

"God! Enrique..." I gasped

"What!" he sounded guilty

"You broke up with Scar!"

"Hey! Quit reading me and my privacy Luciano" he growled and locked up his mind

"Why?" I had to ask. He and Scarlet have been together for ages. They were even set to get married in a month's time but, Enrique said they should survey France before their wedding

"I don't know, why don't you tell me Genius" he said with sarcasm, daring me to read him

I groaned and forced his mind open, when I do that, my gold-yellowish orbs would shine like that of a lion's. I saw what happened

"Omg Enrique! You bit her on the neck, while making out! Jezz you're the best fool I've ever come across with" I smacked my fore head. I swiftly moved to my desk like lightening

"What was I supposed to do then...genius"

Is he seriously asking me that

"Err durhh not bite her...control" I huffed

"I'm a beast Lucian, control? Tsk tsk...I mean...I just lost it...it was the best opportunity but I ruined it"

"Damn you fucking ruined it man" I hit my desk

"Well stop judging me" he snapped angrily "you talk like you are a control freak. Well I can't blame you, you've never been slept with a woman. Virgin demon" he laughed

"Are you mocking me?" I rose a brow at him

"No...I'm telling you fact Mr gazillionaire" he giggled

"Funny man. So what's next" I asked trying to change the topic

"I don't know Lucian...."

"Enrique?"

"Yea?"

"Have I ever told you that you're a moron"

"Not until now" he laughed

"Your girlfriend left you and all you could say is you don't know the next step?"

"because I don't know.. I can't think straight. I mean she found out that I was a beast. Then she left"

"What if she tells people? Enrique.. ARRGH!"

"She can't. She still loves me. I can feel her heart beating. But, I don't know where she is. And one more thing brilliant Lu Lu... People won't believe her"

"Haha...how are you so sure"

"because idiot" he rolled his eyes "according to ancient history, the last demon died in a duel and the last beast died in her sleep"

"Wait! So you're living with that?"

"No the people are living with that" he groaned with frustration

I rolled my eyes

"Help me find her bro please"

"How?"

"Use your powers idiot"

"The last time I used my demonic powers, I killed Justin remember"

"Dude, that was 4 years ago. And you haven't learnt control that time. So now big up man.. And the Justin pushed the buttons, so he deserved it...."

"I'll help you but on one condition"

"Money..how much"

"I'm a gazillionaire Enrique" I rolled my eyes "quit calling me Lu Lu" I said. He laughed and tapped his left foot on the ground meaning he will stop.

"Good! Now to start, do you have any of her property"

"Her....." he hesitated

"Her what" I urged him to continue

"Forget it man" he laughed

"Wait bro...her panties" I read his mind

"I can't use that...I know what to do..relax please. For now let's go for lunch"

"Are you asking me out Lucian?"

"Idiota" I glared at him

(Italian: idiot)

"Ma tu ami il fratello idiota" he laughed loudly

(But you love the idiot bro)

"Come let's go" I shook my head.

Enrique's POV

*BACK IN FRANCE*

After Scar left me, My parents and I decided to hang out in our private. My parents were actually on their 15th honeymoon (can you imagine). Suddenly the sky turned red, black tornado started howling widely, scattering everywhere. Demons started crawling out of the tornado. But, Suwaizo wasn't with them.

"Suwaizo" my dad snarled as his monster self came out

"Mom" get inside I shouted for her to hear me because the breeze was much.

"For what..I'm not letting you two fight alone" she defended

"We have men..."

Before I completed my sentence, she turned to a giant tiger with long and very sharp fangs that crossed her lower mouth almost reaching her chest. I groaned and turned into a giant wolf. A wolf with big black wings.

My dad, mom and I fought them all. They were much though, we couldn't hold them much longer.

"Signal the men Enrique" my dad said to me

I nodded and howled very loudly. Soon, black flying wolves came running towards us. They were also giants like my dad and I.

We all fought them, some ran away leaving me with a big scare on my left arm. We lost ten of our men(more like brothers because we're wolves).

I turned back to my human form, bleeding excessively.

"Are you okay son?" My mom asked as she transformed back

"Yes.."

"You're not alright" my dad cut in

"Dad. Forget about me. How did Suwaizo find us out?"

"That's what I'm still baffled about" he whispered. "I'll give orders to the rest, while your mom treats your wound, Laura"

"Honey! What are we going to tell Lu Lu huh? You know he can tell what happened if..."

"We don't have to tell him Laura" Dad said cutting mom short.

"Dad is right mom! We can't" I said

"Let's just pretend nothing happened"

"The worst is Sarah is behind this" my mom whispered

"What!!" My dad and I exclaimed in disbelief

"How did you know mom?" eyeing her suspiciously

She sighed "I'm sorry I didn't tell you both"

"Tell us what?" Dad questioned

"I was in the garden one afternoon.." She started "I suddenly felt presence around me, I used my beast sense to know who it was but I couldn't...I screamed out for the person to show themselves"

"Then I heard a wicked chuckle. They appeared. It was Sarah, Lu Lu sister. I knew she was not the Sarah we used to know that's why I didn't hug her..I asked her where she was all these years. She said she was with Suwaizo in the Briwantin realm; the darkest realm of evil. She said we should watch out especially Lu Lu, that she's coming for her revenge.....

"I asked her why she would harm her blood brother. She said he has something of hers. I knew she was brainwashed by Suwaizo because she had the aura of evil in her. She then disappeared before I could speak..."

"What! Why would you hide such thing from us mom" I almost snapped

"I'm sorry son" she whispered

"It's okay Laura.." dad said and hugged her

"They located us because the mortal gates are open dad!" I said my thoughts aloud

"Definitely son.. But who's in charge of the mortal gates...they must be paying him then" dad said

"Yes hon" mom nodded "Because your dad locked the gate 19 years ago so who might have reopened it because the person in charge of the gates 19 years ago was replaced"

"By who mom?"

"Only the lords of hell can answer it son" my dad said

"Lord of what now?"

"Lord of hell" my dad repeated

"Who the heck will agree go to hell dad, Don't forget we're beasts not demons"

"Lucian" someone answered behind us.

We all turned. It was my sister Sapphire.

"You're always late saphy"

"What! I love sight seeing.. Hi dad, hi mom"

"Hi darling.. What flight did you use to come to France this quickly" my mom asked

"Errr...mom I'm the fastest snake in the whole universe so I didn't use a plane"

"WHATTTT!" We all exclaimed

"C'mon it's not that bad"

"Really! You're covered in thorns Sis" I said in a sarcastic tone

"Ouchhhhh get it off" she screamed

Don't tell me she's only realizing now!

We cleaned her up. Dad gave the rest of the men instructions to follow, then we sat back in the garden.

"So sis explain what you mean by only Lucian can go to hell?" I asked

"Because Lucian is a demon, he's the next to rule hell and only he can seal up the gates" she sipped on her lemonade

"Saphy?" mom called

"Yes mom?"

"Luciano can't know about the war that just happened"

"We have no choice mom. Dad? If you want Suwaizo to die and end repetition of history, we have to inform Lucian. The duel year is closer. Luciano has to know about his destiny. Only he can end Suwaizo"

"She's right! We have to" my dad agreed

"But..." I tried to discourage them

"No buts son, after we arrive new York city. Tell him or sapphire will"

"Lucian might be a demon, but he's not your usual kind of demon, he's too soft dad and going to hell? come on dad, his place is on Earth"

"His kingdom is in hell. Your uncle, inìago left his throne because of a woman leaving the kingdom to suffer in the hands of that evil demon Suwaizo. Lucian doesn't have a woman in his life, he has never so it will be easy to take back his kingdom" dad said

"If he finds out about all this dad, mom, saphy.... hell will let loose" I said

CHAPTER 3

Luciano's POV🖤🖤🖤🖤

After the day's work, I decided to go home. Today was kind of stressful more than other days.

With suit in my left hand and suitcase in my right, I was about exiting my office when my Uncle, DeLuca showed up. I smelled his fragrance

"Hey uncle, good evening" I furrowed my brows when I felt an odd aura around him, like he was hiding something

"Evening son, how was work?" He smiled. I quickly shoved the thought off my mind

"Great, how was your trip?" I asked

"All Good. Your aunt sends her greetings"

"Ok. How's she?"

"Just great... Where are you off to?" Why does he always have to ask the obvious

But! Damn it's obvious I'm going home. I thought and rolled my eyes

"Uhmmm home?" I said as a matter of fact.

"We have a party by 9 son" he said patting my shoulder. He does that when he's tensed

"What party?" I cocked my brow

"James Kirkwood.. His wife's birthday"

"Uhmmm so?" I grunted. I hate James and his wife. They think they're elegant because they are both skinny.

"Come on Luciano. He's one of our honored investors" He laughed knowing how much I hated them.

"I still don't get, why must I attend?" I huffed

"I'm expecting you. By the way, Sapphire will be there. And she has something to tell you"

"Is this a way of making me go?" I cocked my brow. I read his entire being. Damn! He's clean

"No! wait are you trying to read my mind son" he asked in a mocking tone

"You're hiding something uncle, I can feel it" I narrowed my eyes in slit

"Then read me" he said in reflex

"You know I can't, you're the only person I can't read" I said frustratedly. He laughed and shook his head

"Get ready.. You can go home to change"

"But...."

"It's 7pm Lucian. You're a demon right?"

"So?" I glared at him knowing his next reply

"You've got speed.. Use it" he said as a matter of fact

"Speed is so out of my control button" I grunted

"Try... See you later?" He said

I sighed "fine"

"Good!" He patted my back and vanished.

"He could simply use the door" I mumbled to myself.

"Damn! I hate parties!" I groaned

I arrived home around 7:15pm.. Fast right? I know....

"Good evening sir" one of my workers greeted me.

"I'm fine sir! Sir, I'll take your suit and briefcase upstairs" she motioned her hands.

Maria is one sweet girl, she's 20 but very intelligent. Her mom works here too. She's a dove actually.

"Ok. Run a bath for me, I'm going out and set my tuxedo suit ready.. The black one"

"Yes sir!"

"Call me when you're done.. Run along now"

"Yes sir" she bowed and left.

I released my tie from my neck and unbuttoned the sleeves of my dress shirt, then I sat on a couch...

"Mehn! Look at you bro" a voice spoke

"Saphy?" I called out, I recognized her voice immediately

Her laughter echoed in the sitting room. She then appeared.

"Scared you right? Oh sorry. Your beastly senses are too sharp" she rolled her eyes

I hugged her "when did you arrive from Columbia? And how was your model shoot?" She's a model actually

"I arrived this morning and Jezz my photo shoot not model shoot you ancient man..." She smacked my chest making me to chuckle

"Come on let's sit" I said.

"Thanks Couz, my photo shoot was good.. We have a party you know that? Did dad inform you?"

"Yes he did" I sighed...

"You hate parties right? Believe me I get the feeling. But, bro you have to stop shying away from people."

"I'm not shying away"

"You're, is it because you are blind? come on do you know how handsome you're and if weren't blood related, I'd have dated you" she said

"sorry I don't do models" I laughed

"oh we are not so bad" she said. I heard her heels descending, it means she was going into my room . she does that Everytime to steal my cologne. I don't know why she can't buy hers

"going to steal my cologne again right?" I said aloud for her to hear me

"You're always right baby boy" she purred. suddenly my head started aching me, something loud vibrated in my ears I had to close my ears with my hands. Then I heard my name.

"Luciano" the voice echoed in my head. I shut my eyes closed. it was as if I entered a trance, I saw a girl tied up to a tree in a forest screaming his name. She was the prettiest girl I have ever seen. But why was she calling me, how does she know me? I could smell blood, she was bleeding terribly.

Something, more like someone cut my trance short by tapping me aggressively. I snapped out of my vision.

"Lucian?" Saphy's voice rang out as she shook me violently. I opened my eyes to find myself on the floor sweating profusely.

"Saphy?" I said barely in whispers

"What Happened to you cousin?"she asked, concerned as she helped me to get up

"Some girl was calling me, she was in trouble" I said as I sat on the couch

"Who is she? do you know her?"

"I don't have any idea about who she is but she seemed human"

"Impossible Luciano! a mere human can't communicate with a demon, she has to be a demon it might be a trap" she said

"She looked innocent Sapphire" I rolled my eyes

"come on, let's get you under the shower, Maria told me your bath is ready" she said trying to change the topic

"Uncle said you have something to tell me, is it good?" I asked as I got up from the couch. I could hear her rapid heartbreak and I could smell her sweat. It smelled like guilt and worry.

"uhmm it's nothing serious cousin, I'll tell you when we get back from tonight's function" she said trying to sound alright.

"You're...." I was about said when I heard that same voice echo in my head, I closed my ears and started breathing heavily

"LUCIANO HELP ME" The voice sounded clearer this time around.

"Ignore it" Saphy said

"I've got to help her" I said and went for the door, opened it and transformed into a big owl, it was raining heavily but I didn't mind I flew away following the voice. it was coming from the abandoned woods. I flew lower and stayed on a tree's branch. everywhere was dark but my eyes shine like a new street light. my senses and instincts were alive and active.

"LUCIANO" the voice shouted. it was as if the voice was coming from beneath the tree I stood on. I looked down and saw a girl tied up to the tree, a bear was coming close to her. I descended down and transformed into a human but I kept my beastly senses active, my eyes were golden so I could still see the creature.

"Leave the girl alone" I said to the bear. the bear was not ordinary, it had five horns on its head and a two sharped tail at its back.

"oh thank the universe, Please don't let it harm me" the brunette spoke

"And how do you know me?" I asked her but my eyes were still transfixed on the creature

"I see you in my dreams, I usually tell people you're real but they thought I was mad"

"And who are you?" The beast asked

"Doesn't matter, the human is mine so leave her be" I said. The creature laughed, I wondered what was funny

"you're nothing but a mere beast, my master sent for new blood"

"Tell your master to change his meal! His King orders him to do so"

"What dirty king?" The creature yelled angrily

"I... Luciano Gamóra I own your master so he answers to me" I said as I transformed into my real self. a tall red demon with ten horns and six tails. the bear trembled as he bowed.

"oh master forgive me, I mean no disrespect" he stammered.

"Get out" I snarled

"Thank you great one" he said and fled. I transformed into my human self and turned to the human.

"don't be scared, I'm not dangerous" I said as I went to loosen her

"I know, you're the nicest demon I've ever met" she said and went to hug me tightly.

"I knew you'd come for me" she sobbed as she buried her head in the crook of my neck.

Chapter 4

Grace's POV 🤍🤍🤍

I yawned loudly as I woke up to prepare for work. I didn't plan on going to work today but it's pay day that's why. Seeing my boss's face everyday makes me weep. She's all shades of witchcraft. I snoozed my alarm clock, stretched and got out of bed. I looked around my room, it was unkempt I haven't had time to clean up Mrs Chesterfield doesn't give me a break.

I took a swift look at my family's portrait that rested on the dresser and sighed sadly remembering those good old days. My dad and my little brother that live in Paris. My dad works as a sheriff in a small town there in Paris, well my mom passed away when Ivy, my brother was born. I've not been in touch with my family for five years now because they think I'm crazy. When I was little, I use to have these terrible nightmares about some evil creatures chasing me but these particular creature, Luciano; half human and half beast, he usually saves me from harm in my dreams. He was blind and could use his beastly senses to see and sense danger, he had beautiful and dreamy orbs, a straight nose, defined cheekbones and red beautiful lips. Deep down I knew he was real but nobody believed me well except for my best friend Fluffy. Fluffy is my cat and has been with me since high school.

I found her in a dumpster one afternoon after school. I cleaned her up and she became my pet and my friend.

"Meooowww" she stretched and got down from her mini bed and came to meet me.

"good morning fluffy" I picked her up and kissed her head, rubbing on her fur loving her white full hairy body. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for work. I gave Fluffy her food and headed for doom; my work place. Luckily for me and everyone in the office, we got our cheque today.

My happiness later turned to heartbreak when Mrs Chesterfield asked I and my team to stay back and complete some work. When we were done, I headed for the bus station but there was no bus available, I had to wait and it was raining already.

I was worried about my cat, Fluffy. I know she must be worried sick about me. I decided to take she'd under an apple tree while I waited for the bus. Suddenly I started hearing rustling in the trees, I didn't mind because I thought it was squirrels running around but when I heard a loud thud behind me I became frightened. I slowly turned around and my utmost fear, I saw a very scary creature snarling and growling behind me. A huge, black bear with horns and sharp tails. I froze at the spot because I didn't know I'd see a real life beast I usually see them in my dreams and Lucian would fight them off.

I ran into the woods for my dear life but the creature ran after me, I saw a big tree so I hid behind it. I panted as I wondered what the creature wanted with me.

'I'm just a normal human, what does this creature want with me' I thought. Suddenly, powerful hands gripped me and pinned me to the tree and roared loud.

"what do you want with me?" I stupidlyasked in trembling voice expecting an answer but instead of answering me, the beast tied me to the tree. I knew I was going to die and I haven't met my dream man, Luciano. no! I can't die like this, I thought. I started calling on Lucian expecting him to appear and save me like he does in my dreams. I noticed that the beast became angry when I started telling Luciano's name. It snarled angrily and used its sharp claws to scratch me giving me deep cuts on my chest area. I moaned in pain.

"Luciano please help me!" I yelled again. Deep down I knew he'd come because I badly needed him. I've been seeing him in my dreams and my thoughts but this time around I needed him in real life. I was almost giving up when I saw him appear. He looked dangerously handsome, just as in my dreams. I smiled weakly, I knew he was real I just knew it! I'm not crazy after all.

He scared off the beast and came to untie me, his orbs were still golden as he looked into my eyes

"don't be scared, I'm not dangerous" He said softly, his voice as smooth as honey

"I know, you're the nicest demon I've ever met" I threw myself into his arms

"I knew you'd come for me" I sobbed and buried my head in the crook of his neck taking in his scent.

"How do you know me?" He broke the embrace and asked in furrowed brows, he looked confused and needed answers.

"I see you in my dreams, I knew you were real I knew it wasn't my imagination" I sobbed and smiled at thesame time.

"You're bleeding, we need to get you cleaned up" he said, I felt my life slipping off, I was loosing so much blood, the pain around my chest area was excruciating....... I blacked out

I didn't know for how long I was out but I woke up with a banging headache. I was lying down on the softest bed ever and it felt good. I looked around to find myself in a room, it was enormous; more than my whole apartment. The room was golden with white furniture placed in their right positions; it looked like paradise.

I removed the big duvet that covered my body and got down from the bed, that's when I realized I was clad in a man's clothing it looked like Lucian's shirt because it had his scent. I smiled to myself when I imagined him changing my clothes.

"it seems you're awake" A deep voice spoke, bringing me out of my nasty thought. I looked up and saw a shirtless Lucian, his pants hung low on his waist. I drooled at the very sight of him. His body was wet like he just finished from the shower.

His body was like a Greek god, chiseled abs and toned biceps. I've never seen such beautiful man before, he looks even better in real life than in my dreams.

"Yes, I... I am awake" I stuttered and cleared my throat

"I had my cook prepare a hot plate of soup for you" he said and went to the dresser

"I'm not hungry, thank you for everything Lucian but I've to get home" I said trying to Avery my gaze at somewhere else and not his ass. God! how can someone's ass be this peng

"thank you for cleaning up my wounds" I added and placed my hands in my chest but I didn't see the wound neither did I feel any pain, my eyes bulged out of it's sockets. I stood up wondering what had happened to me.

"How....my... my chest, I thought..." I stammered

"I healed you" Lucian said as he walked up to me. I blinked hard trying hard to control myself from licking his chest.

"Oh, yeah" I cleared my throat forcibly "I forgot you actually can heal"

"yes, and I won't release you until you tell me how you know so much about me and you're human" he said in a hoarse voice taking slow strides towards me.

"I told you already, I dream about you since when I was little you do save me from demons in my dreams I swear" I gulped down as I took slow steps backwards. He stopped coming towards me and pursed his lips.

"What is your name?" he asked

"I'm Grace, Grace Andrew" I said looking into his hazel orbs that shined so beautifully

"Ok, Grace just know that if you tell anyone that I am a demon, they'll think you're crazy because number one I'm blind and two I look harmless"

"Nobody has ever believed me so I don't see the point anymore" I sighed sadly. he was about saying something when someone knocked on the door.

"Who?" he said aloud

"Maria master, food is served" a lady's voice rang out

"alright, I'll be down in five" He said aloud and looked back at me.

"Join me for dinner, Grace and then my driver will take you back home" he said but I felt that sounded like an order. I took deep breaths, Lucian is real, when my family meet him, they will accept me back I'm sure of that, I thought as I smiled to myself.

Chapter 5

LUCIANO's POV

"Thank you oh merciful one" The beast said and fled. I transformed into my human self and turned to the human that was being tied up in the tree

"don't be scared, I'm not dangerous" I said as I went to loosen her

"I know, you're the nicest demon I've ever met" she said and went to hug me tightly.

"I knew you'd come for me" she sobbed as she buried her head in the crooked of my neck. I was confused as hell. How can a mere human summon a demon without any rituals. 'who is she?' I kept asking myself.

The blood that gushed from her chest area, where she was wounded tempted me; I wanted to drink her blood so bad and I didn't know why her blood attracted me. it's been a long time since I tasted human blood. My last experience wasn't so good and I didn't want to repeat thesame mistake.

I wanted to hear more from the human but she fainted, I needed to get her to my castle before she dies because her wound was getting infected. So I held her close to my chest and disappeared: I appeared with her in my room. I slowly laid her down on my bed and pressed the button close to the bed, calling for the medics. Loretta, a woman in her late forties is in charge of all medical emergencies in the castle. Immediately I pressed the button, she appeared in my room.

"You called, Master" she said in her deep negro accent. I rolled my eyes

"for the hundredth time Loretta, knock" I smacked my hand against my forehead. She does this everytime I call on her.

"I'm sorry Master, I..." she stopped talking when her gaze because transfixed on the girl on the bed "My my my...Who do we have here?" she walked past me and went to where the human laid.

"I met her in the woods" I said "one of Guzóns' men wanted to eat her" I added

"She a fine pretty little thing though, I wouldn't blame Guzóns for wan'ing her" she said in a broken English

"please take a look at her Loretta and try not to eat her" I smiled

"Master, I'm a jaguar not a vampire" she giggled. I smiled and went into my walk in closet to get a towel to dry my body

"She one crazy kid though" Loretta smiled mischievously as she cleaned up the human's wounds

"Why do you say so?" I cocked my brow at her, she shrugged her shoulders without answering me

"You invaded her mind? Loretta, I forbade you from doing that didn't I? now she'll wake up with one hell of a headache"

"Forgive me master," she cackled "she's fun to read" she kept laughing, I kept wondering what was funny, what she read about the human.

"Alright Loretta, that's enough I'll take it from here" I said, just then my room door was swung open by an angry Saphy.

"No full fleshed human being is allowed here Lulu and you know that" she spat angrily and hissed.

"Loretta tell Si'dai to prepare soup for my guest" I said to Loretta. she bowed and left

"Saphy she called me to help, I couldn't just leave her to die out there"

"She's not welcome here" she said almost sharply

"Anybody is welcome here Saphy, I built this castle not only for my convenience but also for the convenience and comfort of others in dire need"

"Sometimes I wish you were trained in hell not on Earth! Earth has fucken made you a pussy"

"Well maybe I love being a pussy Saphy, what's your damn problem?" I snapped at her for the first time. She was hiding something and I knew it.

"Stop being soft! you're a demon not human" she snapped back "I'm going to the Kirkwood's party, I'll see you there" she said

"Don't expect me, goodnight!" I turned my back to her. When I was certain she had left, I went to where the human girl laid, she looked peaceful; I could see her because I was using my beastly eyes. She was the prettiest girl I've ever come across with. Her nose was straight and her lips were full and pink like wild roses

"Who are you?" I asked in whispers. I removed the bandage Loretta had put on her chest. The wound looked really deep and bad. I placed my lips on her chest and licked the blood. Damn! she tasted so sweet , I had to control myself if not I'll kill her by sucking all her blood out of her body. I placed my hands on her chest and healed her. Just then Maria came into my room.

"What do you need me for again, master?" she asked "Because I'm about to retire for bed"

"Change the human into one of my clothes. polo, robe what ever just surf through my closet and get something comfortable for her" I said as I went into the bathroom to take a long bath. When I came out, the human was already awake.

Presently, we're having dinner and I don't know why she kept looking at me. I wasn't using my beastly senses to know but I could feel her eyes on me. Scanning me, and eye raping me. I removed my slides and placed my bare foot on the floor to feel her energy, to read her thoughts. 'damn! her thoughts towards me are nasty' i thought. I could read her thoughts, her past and mind. she has had wet dreams about me before and I found that weird.

I cleared my throat and looked up, I already lost my appetite; never in my life have I seen a shameless and crazy lady human in years of existence.

"When you're done my chaffeur will take you home, do have a good night and stay out of trouble Grace" I dragged my chair backwards and got up

"you barely even touched your food" she stuttered

"I'm not hungry" I said briefly

"I'll eat it then" she said, my eyes bulged out

"Don't" I snapped harshly, realizing I was too harsh I apologized

"I'm sorry but I don't share my plates or food"

"why?"

"My saliva is poisonous" I simply said and headed for my room when I felt tiny hands around my waist, it was the human

"Thank you for saving me" she sounded excited "I knew one day you and I will cross paths I can't wait for us to get to know each other" I removed her arms from my waist and turned to her

"I have no business with humans, I think this is the first and last time we'll see each other" I said in a stoic manner

"Luciano?" she called my name, she sounded hurt. I almost regretted what I said but I had to say it. she was becoming too clingy and friendly.

"Have a great evening, Ms" I said and went upstairs. I knew I was harsh but I had to get rid of her.
