Kylie ran as fast as she could without turning back, she felt weak and dizzy from the drug that she was drugged in the hotel, and she could hear the sounds of footsteps behind her trying to catch up with her. She couldn't allow them to trap her, she had to escape from here else she was doomed.

After running for what seemed like a long time, she ran off the hotel and tried looking for a cab in the subway. The hotel she was at was located somewhere in the subs. After 10 minutes she was finally able to hail a cab and she got in.

" Take me to Ross Mansion," she told the driver and slumped on the chair.

The driver nodded and started driving, he wondered what the daughter of a respectable family like the Ross was doing somewhere like the red district areas.

Kylie sighed closing her eyes she thought back to how she had gotten here.

Kylie walked out of the car and glanced at the Company which was boldly inscribed Ross Enterprises, she was going to become the CEO of this large company just a few weeks from now. Glancing at the building with no expression on her face and a face full of indifference her phone went off.

Taking her phone from her bag she looked at the number which was strange picking up her phone, she heard

" Isn't this Kylie Ross?? "

" Yes how do you know me " she responded

" you don't know me but I do know you, come to the Red District hotel your sister is here and heavily drunk..."

" What Callie is there, what did you do to her "

" I don't care, I don't know just come and take your sister " and the person hung up.

Kylie panicked and tried calling back but the number was unreachable, she wondered how her sister had gotten there, hailing down the cab, she got in and the driver started driving.

When she had gotten to the hotel, she hurriedly paid the man and ran inside looking for her sister, turning toward the receptionist, she asked

" what is Callie Ross's room number, please be fast " tapping on the desk urgently

" room 256 on the 3rd floor " the receptionist replied wondering why the woman looked so panicked.

Kylie got into the elevator and when she got to the 3rd floor walked out, getting inside the room she entered only to see her sister making out with her fiance Liam Green, making lewd sounds

" Liam, yeah babe go faster argh, that's the spot baby "

" yeah Callie, am gonna cum " Liam replied kissing her and messaging her breasts.

Awestruck she stood looking at them making out shameless how dare they to do this to her, screaming she walked towards the vase place by the wall and slammed it down, awaking the two from their dirty act.

Liam gasped looking at her, Kylie looked at them her vision red from anger, walking toward her sister she grab her out of the bed and slapped her across the face

" How dare you do something as despicable as this, sleeping with your Sister's soon-to-be husband, you disgust me, " Kylie said wiping away the droplet of tears at the end of her eyes.

" why? whydon't't touch him or sleep with why? I love him and he loves me too what's so wrong about that...huh..tell me " Callie asked tears licking down from her eyes.

" I can't argue over a man with you Callie, just come to the Main Mansion and you Liam I call off our engagement " looking at Liam with anger in her eyes trying to turn around without getting noticing the door slammed shut from behind and she saw her sister smirking looking at her, wiping away her tears and her eyes went down to look Liam's hand holding her sister's waist as she stood up

" dear sister you came in time for the show, are you surprised??? or are you in wonder?? " Callie burst into laughter laughing like the devil incarnate. she had never thought would do something like that to her or even try to steal her fiancee...

" Don't be dear sister, I have always loved him but you came and snatched him away from me, the same way you always snatch everything away from either it was the company or our grandparent's love, you snatched everything, I have always despised you and now am gonna take everything away from you? " Callie said walking toward her and er with a sinister gaze.

Walking around Kylie, she laughed and before Kylie could realize it, she was injected with a needle from behind and she fell to the floor unconscious, Callie burst into laughter looking at the unconscious girl on the floor.

" Babe, what do we do now, what if she reports us to Oldman Ross we will be doomed, " Liam said walking to Callie.

" She won't be able to report us to the Oldman because he is currently on vacation overseas " Callie smirked and looked at her sister on the floor finally everything that belonged to her would be hers soon.

After getting dressed, Callie and Liam walked out after leaving Kylie on the bed unconscious, After getting to the ground floor Liam went to drive the car out of the parking lot and Callie saw this as a chance and made a phone call.

" yeah she's in the room and unconscious I want the job done soon and you will get your remaining payment "

" Okay ma'am, we will get the job done " the person answered from the other end of the phone.

Callie smiled very soon, everything would finally belong to her.

Kylie woke up to the smell of alcohol, she frowned when she tried lifting her body from the bed, her head felt like it was hit by a truck, groaning with the pain she opened her eyes and she was shocked to see herself stack naked on the bed. She thought back to what happened and couldn't believe her sister had drug her, laughing at herself mocking she felt she has always been the one loving her little sister who never reciprocated the love, she was a fool to believe her sister loved her.

She climbed out of the bed and put on her clothes carefully and walked towards the door, trying to open the door it refused to open and no other choice but to look for hairpins to open the door, taking the one out from her hair she opened the door slowly with little strength and walked out. ..

After coming down from the elevator, she run when she noticed some men running after her and here she was now after escaping from them...

" ....umm ma'am we are here," the driver said to Kylie who was busy spacing out.

" ma'am...Ummm we are here " the driver muttered loudly this time around.

" umm.. we are here already, thank you. " Kylie asked jotting out of her thoughts and walking out of the cab.

Looking at the Mansion before her, she sighed, walking the Bulter welcomed her and she nodded in acknowledgment. The mansion was built according to the way her grandmother wanted it, it had a homely feeling and was full of flowers of different kinds.

Walking into the Living room, she saw her parents sitting down and gazing at her intensely,

" Mom, dad " she greeted her parents bowing her head.

A very loud sound was heard and it took Kylie 5 seconds to register she had been slapped by her mother, Raising her head Kylie looked at her mother with a gaze asking ' what had been the reason for the slap '

" How dare you look at me, after what you have done...after the disgrace and shame you have brought upon our family, how dare you, ungrateful child," her mother said looking at her with hatred brimming in her eyes.

" mother what do you mean disgrace and shame....i....don't understand what you are trying to say, mom.." Kylie asked looking at her mother with a confused gaze and another slap was sent flying to her face,

" you don't understand, why would you understand I regret the day I gave birth to you, you have been nothing but the problem in my life. " Laila wept painfully, regretting why she had ever given birth to a daughter like Kylie.

Kylie held her face which was aching from all the slaps she had received without knowing and then a sound was heard from the television news going on, the headlines read

' PICTURES OF KYLIE ROSS THE HEIRESS OF OCEANS ESTATE AND COMPANY LEAKED OF HER DOING DRUGS AND SLEEPING WITH MULTIPLE GUYS '

Kylie gasped looking at the television, she was shell-shocked and fell to the ground looking lost, how did all this happen??? when??. Kylie's father picked up the glass from the table and threw it onto the tv destroying the screen.

" Kylie, why did you do something like this???? why..?? did you have to ruin the reputation of our family huh....?? tell me " Fredrick asked looking at her with anger burning through his gaze.

" Dad, I promise I didn't do any of this, these are all lies, trust me, dad, " Kylie said walking to her father her body completely shaking.

" it wasn't me dad, believe me, I would never do something like this..." Kylie said sobbing hard.

" How do you expect your day to believe you when there are pictures of you there huh... " her mother asked turning her around and pushing her to the ground.

" I don't want to see your face right just go from here to your room, I don't want to show your face," Her mother said pushing her away.

" calm down Laila let's think this through, " Frederick said holding onto his wife who was sobbing.

" what's there to think about, she has successfully destroyed our family and its reputation," Laila said just then Fredrick's assistant walked in with a worried expression on his face.

" Mr. Ross, there is a problem, the stocks are currently hitting rock bottom and the shareholders are thinking of pulling out their shares. "

" No this can't, see what I told you it's all her fault, all her fault she is no longer my daughter I disown her and right here," Laila remarked looking at Kylie with contempt.

Kylie was shocked and staggered backward in agony " ....Ummm..umm mum you are joking right, you can't disown me, no mum "

" Sir, am afraid to say this but the only way to solve this problem right now is to disown the young miss publicly and send her away from the country before this issue gets out of hand," Mr. Frederick's assistant said thoughtfully and patting himself for a job well done.

" Dad, you can't possibly disown me right am your daughter, your flesh and blood right??? " Kylie asked looking at her dad expectantly

" Am afraid this has to be done to handle the issue at hand and make amends, this is all your fault Kylie, why did you go they in the first place " her father snapped at her angrily.

" I went there to get Callie and I found out she was there with my fia....." and a loud sound was heard

and Kylie raised her head to see her mom had slapped her.

" How dare you try to frame your sister after what has just happened and what you have just done, " Laila asked glaring at Kylie with hatred in her eyes.

" Mom is telling the truth, am not lying really," Kylie said with tears dripping down her face which looked like a tomato now.

" Enough!! " Her father shouted looking extremely angry, turning to his assistant he said,

" Tell the Technical department to release the report now.., I hereby disown Kylie Ross as my daughter and as the ascending heiress of the Oceans Estate and company," Fredrick said with a fierce and angry face.

" but dad you can't do this to me, I refuse to accept your decision " Kylie cried she couldn't believe her parents had abandoned her like she was an outsider.

" Guards I don't want to see this girl here anymore, she doesn't belong in this family anymore," Laila said walking away to the study with her husband.

The guards came and dragged the sobbing Kylie out, they felt pity for her but they had to oblige the wishes of the Mistress of the house. Kylie glanced at her surroundings with tears dripping down her gaze, she couldn't believe her parents had abandoned her for just rumors that were lies and they refused to believe her.

All her life, she had strived for her parent's love which they never gave, she went to the school they wanted, Wear the clothes her mother wanted, eats the food her mother wanted just to get their love which she never had but after all that, they had abandoned her.

Looking at the Mansion where she had grown up one last time, she made a promise to herself to live life the way she wanted from now on and walked away from the Mansion.

" Miss Callie I was able to convince your father, and now the deed is done, " Fredrick's Assistant said looking out of the window at the figure that was walking away.

" Job well do," Callie said from the other end of the phone smiling devilishly and ending the call.

Four Years Later.

Heels clicked on the floor as she walked, hips swaying like the dancing swans, shoulders evenly squared and head held high, walking into the company the employees formed two straight lines, making a path for her to walk through and greetings heard from all flanks, nook, and cranny of the magnificent building which was boldly inscription on the inside and outside of the building,

Walking into the elevator with her a

personal assistant and some executive directors, the door slid closed.

Everyone breathe a sigh of relief, their boss was usually referred to as the Iron lady, she rarely smiles or even laugh her face was always tonic coming together some employees started discussing

" Do you think we are safe, she was looking angry " employee A remarked.

" Who knows she is always like that don't you know," employee B said.

" I am an intern " employee A said looking at them.

Up on the 25th floor of the company building, she walked out of the elevator with her employees in a trail behind her,

" boss you have a meeting with the marketing directors and the planning team "

" you also have a lunch meeting with the shareholders at Royal stars hotel "

" After that, you have a conference meeting with the designing team for the new designs that have been formed and revised from the last one "

" .... and after that you have no other meeting but you have dinner with Miss Creek.." Her assistant said going through her schedule for the day.

Coming to a halt at the door of her private elevator, she turned to look at the people behind her, her blue eyes as cold as ice and her face white as snow in the winter, there was no expression on her face. Wearing a corporate blue skirt and white blouse with her long hair packed into a ponytail, she was looking like the goddess of beauty herself who had come to earth to punish the evil ones.

Kylie looked at the people around her and sighed with a slight frown between her brows

" ..you can all stop trailing after me now and don't get me irritated, you may go back to your various department, " Kylie said with a stormy expression and walked into the elevator with her assistant behind her.

The elevator made a chime sound and opened, walking out she glanced at her surroundings, the designs, and the portraits on the walls. She was finally proud of herself for her achievements these four years had thought her how to live a life without needing to please anyone or anything, she had become a boss of herself Walking into her office her lips curled into a faint smile the office was exactly how she wanted it to be, painted with grey colors and designed according to her taste. Glancing at her assistant who was standing waiting for her order, she smiled at him

" Thank you, David," She said taking a sit on her chair.

" You're welcome " David hesitantly replied mesmerized by her smile, he could never get used to her, she was very unpredictable if he had a chance he would have married her but too bad she was a year older.

" ...Ummm boss " David reluctantly uttered he didn't know how to tell her about her grandparent's call, years ago after that incident she had refused any form of contact with that family.

" yes go on, " Kylie said looking at the file in her hands.

" Th.. e. ...e old. a man called...and mmm" David said with reluctance in his gaze

Kylie sighed without raising her head from the papers she was reading

" what does he want now??? "

" He demanded you to meet him and talk to him "

Kylie sighed again, she felt like she had been sighing all day now, she wondered what her grandfather wanted from her.

" Fine, ask his assistant for the location and time. " Kylie mumbled annoyed, if she refused to meet that annoying old fly she was sure he would come storming with guards to her company and she didn't want that.

" Okay boss, if there's nothing else I will take my leave now," David said.

" wait, what time do I have a meeting with Julie, " Kylie asked

"7 pm at the Royal Stars hotel, " David said.

" Okay, you may go, " Kylie said and returned her attention to the file she was going over.

Kylie walked out of the hotel with David hot on her trail, her face twisted into a scowl she couldn't believe because she was not here for years those shareholders, thought they could control her

" ah, what a joke " she mumbled annoyed,

" boss did you say something, " David asked when he heard faint mumbling sounds, opening the door for her to get in

" ah...no..no, I want you to gather information on every shareholder, absolutely everything, where they go and who they meet," Kylie said getting into the car.

" Okay boss, " He closed the door and got in from the other side of the car.

After getting to the underground parking lot of White Corps, David opened the door for his boss to come outside, Kylie climbed down from the car and walked towards the elevator that led straight to her office

" Do I have any more meetings?? "

" Yes boss, you have a meeting with the Designing team for the upcoming Summer fashion line to discuss the updated designs "

" Okay then " getting to the top floor Kylie walked toward the conference room by the right side of her office.

Pushing the door open to the meeting room, everyone stood up when they saw the CEO walk in, bowing their heads as She walked past them. She bobbed her head in acknowledgment and sat down, her assistant sat down beside her

" you may proceed, " Kylie said putting on an expressionless face.

" These are the updated designs for the upcoming summer fashion chain, changes have been made according to the way you wanted us to, " The head designer said dropping the file that contain the design in front of the boss.

Looking through the design placed on her desk, she hummed in response and approval there were all that she wanted and according to her taste, she frowned slightly looking at the colors.

The employees looked worriedly at their boss one moment she was nodding in approval and the next frowning, there glanced at one another in fear of being scolded.

" I want a change of colors for the ball gowns, I want it either in Gold, White or deep sea Blue, " Kylie said going through the papers not knowing she had almost prompted the heart attack of her employees.

" Yes ma " the head designer nodded and sighed in relief.

" ...um..also I want the best, fairest and satisfactory material to be used and no mistakes will be tolerated, " Kylie said with a frosty expression on her face.

" Yes ma, we assure no mistakes " the head designer hurriedly nodded.

" If that's all, the meeting is adjourned. " Kylie said and walked out of the conference room with her assistant walking behind her.
