It was really bad luck for Bella because suddenly her house was attacked by a group of mysterious men led by a handsome but disgusting bastard who stood proudly in front of her. The man had a sharp jawline, short dark brown hair, and irises as dark as night. Bella didn't know who the man was.

Bella was grateful that her eyes were filled with tears that blurred her entire vision of the man. She was extremely disgusted with him, and even with herself. The man tied her to the bed and treated her like a cheap bitch.

"What's wrong, Bella? You like what you see?" The man grinned. The hunting knife in his right hand gleamed in the moonlight.

"Fuck you. Who are you? Let me go!"

You don't know who I am?" The man chuckled scornfully.

"Liam. Remember that well, naive girl."

From a distance, Bella could see him smiling faintly at her while folding his arms across his chest. He had tucked a hunting knife into his belt. Bella tried to put on a stoic face, even though deep down she was very scared.

"Louise is truly a hypocritical man. You will definitely be married off to Hunter so that the old fart can seize all of your family's enormous wealth."

He spoke strangely in front of her. Bella frowned while looking at him sharply.

What is that damn guy talking about? Hunter and I are siblings. Hunter and I can't get married because I already have a boyfriend. So what did that man mean by taking away my family's wealth? Of course, my family has the right to take all my wealth because we are a family? So what's wrong with that?

Bella monologued in her own head. She couldn't say that in front of the crazy man who was currently looking at her with a lecherous gaze. Oh shit! Bella was sick of him, and she wanted to rip his face to pieces.

"Stop your bullshit, you bastard! Now, untie me! If you really want to take my family's money, then take it! I don't care!" Her voice became hoarse because she shouted and cursed too much.

Liam Carlos grinned evilly at Bella and walked over to her. He thought it was time to take revenge on Louise's family using that woman and also to free her from the clutches of that cunning and bastard Louise. He bet, if that woman knew the truth, she would also hate all members of Louise's family, just like he hated all of Louise's family who had cruelly killed his parents years ago.

"Hmm, I don't need all of Louise's money. What I need is you because you mean a lot to them," Liam said mysteriously. He climbed onto the bed, kneeling over Bella's body, which looked helpless on the bed.

"Because you are the only one who can destroy Louise and his family."

Liam's lips moved down to kiss her cheek. He brushed his lips very gently against the wet surface of her cheek. He licked the trail of tears left on her cheek, then groaned when he felt the salty taste of Bella's tears mixed with the sweetness of Bella's soft skin.

Liam touched the purplish bruise on Bella's ankle. If Bella hadn't struggled and tried to fight him, none of that would have happened to her. Before he completely untied her, Liam took the time to stroke her ankle briefly to show his sympathy.

"Fuck! Did you hurt my legs on purpose?" Bella shouted angrily right in front of Liam's face. She reflexively hugged her legs possessively as if Liam would tie her legs again on the bed.

Bella coughed as the cold water started to enter her nose and flow down her throat. She thought she would die right then and there. But strangely, she managed to step on the floor of the jacuzzi and jumped up, panting.

"I'm going to..." Bella panted. Her lungs seemed as if they were going to explode into the air.

Liam stood towering over the edge of the jacuzzi, watching her face turn as pale as a corpse. Her body shivered from the sting of the cold water, but Liam didn't care. When he was sure that Bella was okay, Liam walked out of the bathroom and slammed the door hard.

Bella gasped in surprise. Her palms pressed against her chest, which was pounding hard. She lowered her head while sobbing bitterly, lamenting her misfortune. Her parents and the super busy Hunter shouldn't have gone and made her have to face Liam Carlos alone.

But have they cared about her all this time? She was like a bird locked in a golden cage. Her parents and Hunter only showered her with abundant wealth, but not with love. They always left her at home alone with dozens of servants and dozens of bodyguards who were always ready to protect her from various threats. But that day was different. Nicko was still in shock after watching the video Liam sent on his iPad. Liam raped Bella many times, and the sound of Bella screaming dominated the entire video. Liam hurt and slapped Bella when she tried to escape from him.

Hunter's smile slowly faded as he watched the video. His palms clenched on the table at what Liam had done to his precious sister. It was as if Liam was right in front of him and was mocking him. Liam took Bella away from Louise's luxurious mansion after they had a heated argument. While driving, Liam's eyes occasionally glanced at Bella, who looked calmer than before. Bella became quieter and didn't try to fight him since he dragged her to his car. Liam thought that was much better, so he could focus on the long road ahead of him.

"Eat this, you haven't eaten since morning."

Suddenly, Liam threw a package of tuna sandwich into Bella's lap. Even though he was a jerk, he wouldn't let a weak woman like Bella starve when she was with him. Her life was important to him. Besides, Bella was the main key to taking revenge on Louise. He needed Bella to reclaim the great inheritance of the Queen's group. Liam was tempted to take control of the Queen's group property- which belonged to Bella's parents and had long been fought over by her family and Louise's family.

But he didn't want to repeat the same mistakes his parents made in the past. The treasure was a curse for his family. His entire family died in vain in the war over the treasure. His family was betrayed by the Louises, and Hunter bore the sins of his parents because Hunter was their heir.

"I said eat! Do you want me to stuff it in your mouth?"

Bella turned to Liam in annoyance. He had just pulled over his car just to force her to eat a tuna sandwich. Liam looked so cruel and authoritarian, making Bella feel annoyed to be around him.

"I'll eat when I'm hungry. You don't need to bother pulling over your car just to force me to eat."

"I said eat. Now."

"Who do you think you are, huh? Even Hunter and my parents never forced me to eat or reminded me to eat at home. So, you have no right to force me with your disgusting, arrogant style, because you have no right to control my life," Bella replied arrogantly.

"Okay. You will regret challenging me, Miss Bella."

Bella snorted. She really hated hearing Liam start to threaten her. Bella lazily opened the sandwich wrapper and took a big bite. She was hungry, but she was too stubborn to admit it in front of Liam. She didn't eat properly last night, and Liam drained her energy by fucking her hard.

"I know you're hungry."

"No. I just want you to stop threatening me."

Bella ate her sandwich with gusto and turned her face towards the window.

"Eat this. You have to eat it all."

As if he understood that Bella was starving, Liam threw another sandwich into Bella's lap after he took it from the passenger seat. He knew Bella was hungry. Moreover, last night he drained his energy to keep up with his rough and brutal game. He was sure one sandwich wouldn't be enough for Bella. Bella needed to eat at least two sandwiches before they got to his house.

Liam drove his car back after seeing Bella eating quietly beside him. He would be calm for the rest of the journey home and would no longer have to think about Bella being hungry.

"Hunter must have seen the video of me fucking you. Hmm, he'll be frantically looking for you once he gets home."

Bella stopped chewing her sandwich. Her face was filled with anger and disgust.

"Is that all you can do? Torture me and humiliate me to get your damn revenge on Hunter?"

Bella squeezed her sandwich tightly. Her hands itched to punch Liam's disgusting face.

"You can't do this to me," she growled.

The reason why she gave up on Liam was to see how much Hunter and her parents loved her. She wanted to know what they would do when they found out that their only daughter had been kidnapped by the bastard Liam.

"Even though I agreed to come with you, that doesn't mean you can humiliate me as much as you like."

"Are you embarrassed if they watch our video, baby?"

"Don't call me baby!"

Bella raged brutally. She hit Liam's arm hard, taking out all her anger on Liam for ruining her life, and even all her dreams.

Liam shouted angrily. He tried to keep his car on the road. He pushed Bella's body away from him and her body hit the door hard. The cars behind them honked loudly as they almost hit Liam's car. Swearing came out of Liam's mouth because Bella suddenly attacked him.

"Do you want to make us both die, huh?"

"I don't care if I die right now. It'd be better for me if you died too."

"Unfortunately, I don't want to die now. At least, I have to make sure Hunter suffers before I die."

"Don't involve me if you want to take revenge on them."

"Shut up, bitch?!"

Liam's words managed to silence Bella. Her head slumped on the back of the chair, her gaze staring blankly at the window. Everything felt suck for her. Things changed very quickly just overnight. Her cheeks were wet with tears that fell one by one from her eyelids. Bella's sadness did not escape Liam's sharp gaze.

"What are you doing?! Wipe away those stupid tears."

"Fuck you. Mind your own business."

"You are my business," Liam growled.

"If you want to die, you have to wait a little longer because I still need you alive. You have to stay alive until this thing is over, and the bastard Edward Louise gets what he deserves for all the bad things he did in the past," Liam snapped angrily.

His fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly to channel all his anger and to prevent himself from acting foolishly by strangling Bella's fragile neck.

He was very tempted to do that. Especially when Bella started going berserk while beating him, he really wanted to throw her out of the window when his car was going very fast on the freeway. If he threw her from his car, Bella would not have had time to feel pain before her death. He would have died instantly, hit by cars going very fast behind him.

"You're just wasting your time if you think about your foster family. They are the people behind the death of your biological parents."

Bella didn't say anything when Liam snapped at her loudly. She let the tears roll down her cheeks to channel her bubbling emotions. She crumpled half of her sandwich into a small ball, then threw it under the chair.

She lost her appetite because Liam messed with her. There was nothing left of her life. Not even her pride.

Closing her eyes, Bella thought about many things in her head. All the questions that had been popping up in her mind since last night came up again. If what Liam said was true, why had Edward and Monica hidden it from me all this time? Why did Hunter never tell me about my biological parents? Who is really lying here? Liam or Edward Louise?

"What-"

Liam suddenly jabbed something in her arm and made her gasp in surprise for a few seconds. She was trying to figure out what had just happened to her, but something Liam had jabbed into her arm was slowly starting to work. Her body seemed to turn to jelly, and she slumped limply on the chair.

"What have you done to me?" Bella asked weakly to Liam, who only glanced at her sarcastically.

Her whole head was spinning and throbbing. Her vision became blurry. Liam's cruel face slowly faded, replaced by a thick darkness that pulled her away from the painful realization.
