"Come in Eun Kyung" said Tae Hyun the principal of Seoul global high School and Eun Kyung slowly walked into his office, "Have a seat" he offered and she looked at him "I'm waiting for my Mom" she said and he relaxed on his seat, "Hmm, okay let's wait harder" .

The door opened and Eun Hee walked inside, "Please have a seat Mrs Eun Hee" he said and she faced her daughter, "Are you okay honey?"she asked Eun Kyung. "I'm fine Mom, I'll just love to wait outside" she said and left the office.

Eun Hee sat on the chair opposite Tae Hyun brought out a file and handed it to her, "What is this?" She asked

"Open it" he said and she slowly began to open the file.

"She failed again, Eun Hee I have given your daughter lots of chances and opportunities to prove that she can be better but I think I just wasted my time, effort and resources. Eun Kyung cannot become anything with such terrible grades and the worst part is you're paying for this, you're paying for such a result and that's not fair, you should stop school for her and open a store... Eun Kyung will be good there, at least she will be making profit for you and your life will just be easy, I'm saying it because I feel for you and I know without any reasonable doubt that Eun Kyung won't become anything in life and.....

"Enough Tae Hyun!!" Yelled Eun Hee, "You don't have any right to write Eun Kyung off, you're not in that position, my daughter will be someone in this life, too bad your school will miss someone like her, I know she will make me proud one day I know it" she said and he scoffed.

"Proud?, Call me when that happens" he said.

"Oh I will" Said Eun Hee and she stood up to leave the office.

"Emm, ask Eun Kyung to submit her ID before leaving, I don't have the energy to come over asking for it" he said.

Eun Hee looked at him angrily before she walked out of the office.

Eun Kyung stretched her hands to her mother just when she came out of the office, "The ID" she said and Eun Hee slowly took it from her hand.

"I'll go get a taxi for us" said Eun Kyung and she walked out from her mother.

Eun Kyung walked slowly to the school gate when three girls rushed to her.

"Hey Eun Kyung is it true that you were kicked out from school because you failed?" Asked one of the girls.

"Eun Kyung is this the fiftieth school you've been thrown from?" Asked another and they all laughed heavily.

"Hey Eun Kyung we talking to you?" Asked Yu Na one of the annoying girls Eun Kyung had ever known.

"Eun Kyung!!" She yelled and grabbed her shirt but Eun Kyung pulled from her grip.

"What is it Eun Kyung?, You wanna fight Yu Na?" Asked one of the girls.

Eun Kyung now continued walking but Yu Na raised her leg and Eun Kyung fell to the ground.

All three girls laughed loudly.

"Hey Eun Kyung, don't ever contend with me not even in the future, else I'll have you killed" said Yu Na.

Eun Hee walked to the gate when her eyes caught a commotion between Eun Kyung and some school girls.

"Eun..Eun Kyung!!!" She yelled and ran towards the scene.

Now Yu Na grabbed Eun Kyung's shirt, "You don't deserve this uniform" she said and tore it with with her hand.

"Let go Yu Na!!" Yelled Eun Hyung but Yu Na kept on tearing it.

"I said let go!" Said Eun Kyung angrily and she pushed Yu Na.

Yu Na now looked at her, "You still have guts to push me?, You little fool" said Yu Na and she raised her hand to hit Eun Kyung but Eun Kyung held it and pulled it down forcefully making Yu Na stagger almost falling to the ground

"Don't you dare to hit me Yu Na else, I'll have you killed" she said with a red eye.

"You bitch!!" Yelled Yu Na and she rushed to attack her again but Eun Hee pushes her backwards.

"Is this how you students behave?, Why should you bother Eun Kyung like that?" She asked.

"Teach your daughter some manners, she's nothing but a maniac" said Yu Na and with that she left with the girls.

"So rude of them" said Eun Hee before facing her daughter, "Are you okay?" She asked and Eun Kyung nodded.

"Let's just go" she said.

Both of them reached home and Eun Kyung walked into her room.

Eun Hee now walked to the door of Eun Kyung's room.

"Eun Kyung, you can always talk to me about anything and you know it, it really hurts to see you behave this way, I'm hurt all the time Eun Kyung" said Eun Hee.

Eun Kyung opened the door and walked back in sitting on the bed.

"Honey??, Eun Kyung it's not the end of the world, I'm telling you Tae Hyun will pay for what he said to you" she said and sat close to her daughter.

"It hurts" muttered Eun Kyung as she held her heart slowly squeezing her shirt, "It hurts here Mom" she said and now tears filled her eyes.

"Why can't I do better?, it doesn't work, it just doesn't work. I'll definitely be a nobody" she wept.

"Eun Kyung, I'm not going to give up on you, not yet and I don't want you to write yourself off, not yet. I know something good will come out of this, I know it" she said and Eun Kyung looked at her mother with weeping eyes.

"What should I do?" Asked Eun Kyung with a shaking voice.

"Just trust me, that's all you should do" said Eun Hee.

Eun Kyung slowly rested her head on her mother's shoulder as she consoled her..

Eun Kyung opened her eyes to the early morning sun, she climbed down from the bed and walked to the refrigerator when she saw her mother all dressed.

"Where are you going Mom?" She asked pouring a bottle of water into a glass cup.

"Em, Eun Kyung you're up, well I.."

Eun Kyung raised a brow. "I don't like the way that sounds, Mom where are you really going?" She asked again.

Eun Hee sighed, "Eun Kyung, I am going to see your uncle, Him Chan, he asked me to come over" she said.

"Why?, What's the occasion?" She asked drinking the water.

"Look Eun Kyung, I just want you to pray for success today and stop asking numerous questions" said Eun Hee. She kissed Eun Kyung's forehead and left the house.

Eun Kyung scoffed, "What a weird woman" she said and walked back inside.

Eun Kyung found the day soo boring, she did the dishes, watched the TV but it didn't seem like the day even moved a bit.

"Urgg, what a day. Oh yes, I could get the groceries so Mom doesn't have to worry about it" she said and rushed to her room.

Eun Kyung got dressed and left the house, she got to the grocery store and paid to get some.

"Hey Eun Kyung, how are you?" Asked Kan Ta a cobbler.

Eun Kyung smiled at him, "I'm okay Uncle Kan Ta she replied and faced the woman giving her the groceries.

"I didn't see you walk to school this morning what happened?" he asked and Eun Kyung looked at him, "I.. well, well.... Something came up" she managed to say and hurriedly took the grocery.

"Thank you Mrs Chan" she said and turned to go.

"Did something really come up or were you kicked out from school for failing?," Asked Mrs Chan and Kan Ta faced her.

"Huh?, You were kicked out again?" He asked.

Eun Kyung now began to walk out of the store.

"Is that why your mother went to beg Tae Hyun?".

Eun Kyung's legs stopped moving abruptly and she turned to the man.

"What did you say?" She asked.

"Nothing" replied the old man and he slowly began to walk away.

Eun Kyung stood there for a while, nothing made sense, 'her mother begging Tae Hyun' no way, that wasn't true. She took a deep breath and began to walk back home.

About reaching home, Hiah Eun Kyung's school friend who manages to talk to her approached her.

"Why do you walk so fast Eun Kyung?" she asked panting.

" I'm sorry" she said and Hiah faked a smile.

"I heard you were kicked out from school" she said and Eun Kyung looked away from her.

"What do you want to know?" She asked.

"Me??, No I don't want to know anything from you, what do you know that I should know anyway. I just wanted to know why your mother was begging Tae Hyun in school, it was so embarrassing because Tae Hyun insulted her and said you were a no body" she said.

Eun Kyung faced her, "What!, My mother?" She asked.

"Yes it was your mother I'm very certain of it, everyone who saw it said it was embarrassing, well I have to run off now, my mother will be waiting for me, take care" she said and ran off.

Eun Kyung walked into the house slowly, ' what was the point lying, maybe she felt I won't let her go, how could she beg... Tae Hyun?' thought Eun Kyung.

"How could you!!!!" Yelled Eun Kyung and she threw the groceries to the ground, "Aaa argh!!" She Yelled again and she began scattering the whole house, she threw everything to the ground in anger.

Eun Hee hurriedly opened the door and looked at the messy ground. "Eun Kyung, what has gotten into you?, Why are you behaving like this?" She asked.

Eun Kyung walked close to her until their faces were so close

"Beg Tae Hyun!!?, Why would you even do that!?" She yelled and hit the glass vase on the table making it fall to the ground and breaking to pieces.

"Okay Eun Kyung, one more breaking and I'm so going to loose it" said Eun Hee.

"Loose it!, Who cares, were your senses correct when you went to beg Tae Hyun?, For goodness sake he insulted us and you just acted like a weak woman, the whole town are making fun of us!!, How could you mother" yelled Eun Hyung.

"Eun Kyung calm down and listen to my side of the story, you know people will make up stories but if you listen to mine, we could solve this problem so calm down" said Eun Hee and she tried touching Eun Kyung's shoulder but she pushed her hand away.

"I don't want to listen to your story, it's not reasonable, yes people like to make fun of me but I try my best to avoid it and you just keep giving them reasons to do so!!, I know what your problem is, you're a desperate selfish woman!!" Yelled Eun Kyung and Eun Hee slapped her hard on her face.

"That's for calling me selfish", now she slapped her again, "That's for raising your voice on me!" Now she slapped her again, "That's for not realizing what I'm doing for you" now tears flowed from her eyes.

Eun Kyung slowly moved from her mother as she wept.

"You don't know what it feels like to be mocked everyday, to look in the mirror and not know who is on the other side, to wake up every morning only to see your past repeating itself. I'm done with this. I quit" she yelled and Eun Hee grabbed her.

"You cannot quit this fight honey, we're so close to getting what we want" said Eun Hee.

"But I don't care!!" Wept Eun Kyung, "Let me go!" Said Eun Hyung and she ran out of the Kyung once Eun Hee left her.

Eun Kyung had stopped running. She was now walking slowly, she reached the Han River and rested her and on it. Tears filled her eyes, what was worth living for?, She didn't know anymore.

Slowly, she climbed the bridge as the wind blew her hair and clothing, she closed her eyes as tears flowed from them like a river.

" I'm sorry.... Mom" she muttered.

" You think that's the solution to your problem?.

Eun Kyung slowly opened her eyes, she turned her head and saw a guy resting his hand on the bridge, his eyes were far from hers but she could tell he was talking to her, his hair were neatly combed and styled to one side, his lip were red and beautiful, he was really something else. Now the guy looked at her and offered a smile to her and her heart missed a beat, she brushed it off and faced the ocean.

"You know you don't have to do that if you don't want to, I have problems too, I'm trying to solve them out but that which you want to do is the last thing that could come to my brain". Now Eun Hyung looked at him

"When I have a problem I come here, look at the ocean and feel relieved of my problems, I don't know but it just happens, suicide is the thought of weak people... Those who are so afraid of facing either their fears, mistakes or shortcomings, they don't want to talk about their problems or take responsibility for their actions so they just give in to such thoughts" he said and now smiled.

Eun Kyung didn't know what was happening anymore, he seemed so relaxed talking to her, it was like he knew her already.

"Who are you?, Why are you bothering me?" She asked and he smiled again.

" I'm not bothering you, you rather seem interested in my conversation. You see that's how I over come such thoughts, they come all the time, once you're frustrated, depressed due to something or the other, they just come like armies for battle ready to devour you".

" What's your name?" He asked and Eun Kyung looked at him.

"What for?, Why do you want to know?" She asked and he chuckled,.

"I just want to know, what's your name?" He asked again

"Eun Kyung" she answered reluctantly.

"What a beautiful name, do you know what it means?" He asked.

"Ofcourse I do, it's my name" she replied aggressively.

"Graceful gem" he said and both their eyes locked together.

" Eun Kyung means graceful gem" he said.

"Go away, you're distracting me" she said

"Eun Kyung could you look down at the water" he said

Eun Kyung slowly lowered her eyes to the water, her eyes widened.

"I figured out that lots of people who comit suicide do it with their eyes closed or look straight, why don't you try looking down at the water and if your heart permits you to do it, I won't stop you" he said

Eun Kyung looked at the water again, thoughts were running to her head, her heart was beating fast and she wasn't thinking straight.

"You don't wanna do that Eun Kyung, slowly take my hand" he said and stretched his hand towards her.

Eun Kyung was panting heavily but she knew just one thing, ' She wasn't ready to die'. She turned slowly to him and took his hand.

"Okay, now climb down slowly looking at nowhere but at me" he said holding her hand tightly.

Eun Kyung slowly began to climb down but looked away from him and she fell.

The guy hurriedly grabbed her and both of them fell to the ground breathing heavily.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he sat up, Eun Kyung now sat up and faced him. She was breathing heavily and couldn't say a word.

"Calm down Eun Kyung" he said and touched her shoulder.

"Let me go!" Said Eun Kyung and she pushed his hand away.

"Okay, I'm sorry about that but you need to calm down" he said and she looked at him.

"I'm fine" she replied and stood up with the guy standing with her.

Eun Kyung now looked at him as he wore a beautiful smile.

She scoffed and turned from him walking away.

"Hey Eun Kyung!, Why are you in a hurry?" He asked.

Eun Kyung stopped on hearing her name.

"Just forget I told you my name" she said and walked away.

On getting home, Eun Kyung hesitated a little before she knocked on the door.

Eun Hee opened the door and gasped on seeing her daughter.

"Eun Kyung" she called and hugged her in tears. "I'm sorry honey, I'm sorry I was so harsh on you please don't ever do that again, don't leave without saying anything I was so worried" she said.

"I'm sorry Mom, it's my fault as well, I'm sorry" apologized Eun Kyung and her mother hugged her.

Eun Kyung noticed someone in the house who then walked out.

"Oh Eun Kyung, this is Him Chan, your uncle and he has good news for you" she said.

The man now walked forward"Hello Eun Kyung, I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while I hope I'm forgiven?" He asked and Eun Kyung nodded with a smile.

"Okay" now he brought out a file. "Eun Hyung congratulations, you have been offered a scholarship at Hana Academy Seoul" he said and Eun Hee jumped up happily.

Eun Kyung looked at her mother and now at him.

"That's not funny to be a joke" she said.

"Come on Eun Kyung, why don't you open the file if you doubt us" said Eun Hee.

Eun Kyung hurriedly opened the file, "It's true" she said all surprised.

"Ofcourse honey" said Eun Hee and she hugged her daughter.

"But how is it even possible?" She asked still confused.

"Well, I work at Hana and after your mom told me about you, I figured out I had lots of shortcomings as an uncle so l decided to make it up to you starting from this one. Congratulations again Eun Kyung, I'm looking forward to seeing you at Hana, welcome to High School again" he said and Eun Kyung smiled happily.

"Thank you!" She shouted happily and jumped on him in a hug.

"You're welcome" he said

"I'm sure she won't let you down" said Eun Hee and Eun Kyung looked at her mother and then to Him Chan.

"Yes, because we cherish hardwork and commitment to studies so I hope you're equal to the task?" He asked.

Eun Kyung hesitated a little before she took a deep breath.

"Yes, I won't let anyone down, not you, not my mother" she said and they smiled.

"I hope..." Muttered Eun Kyung.

After some days, Eun Hee and Eun Kyung went shopping and bought everything Eun Kyung needed for school, she would live with her uncle since he lived closer to the school.

After they got back, Eun Kyung and her mother sat down to have a conversation before she would leave the next day.

"I'm so happy and grateful to God Eun Kyung, you'll finally go to high school and your uncle will give you all the help you can get, this is just luck on our side" started Eun Hee all excited.

"Hey Eun Kyung did you know what I did yesterday when I was returning from the church?" Asked Eun Hee.

Eun Kyung slowly laid her head on her mother's shoulder. "No mom, tell me what you did".

"I made sure to tell everyone in all the shops I went to that you were going to Hana, you should have seen their faces, it was filled with so much of horror and surprise" said Eun Hee and she laughed heavily.

Eun Kyung smiled, "I'm happy Mom, it has always been hard to say it for a while but I think I can boldly and confidently say it, ' I'm happy Mom" she said and Eun Hee pat her shoulder.

"You should be honey, you deserve to be happy and all our years of waiting, I'm sure this is a compensation from heaven" said Eun Hee.

Eun Kyung slowly raised her head from her mother's shoulder.

"Mom, I think you should know something" said Eun Kyung and her mother faced her.

"What is that?".

"Uhh, well Mom when I ran out last week because I was mad, I... Well.. I actually wanted to throw myself from the bridge".

Eun Hee's eyes widened. "Eun Kyung!!, Why should you even think of doing something like that?" She asked worried.

"I know mom and I'm sorry but someone saved me, it was a guy and he had the most amazing figure ever" said Eun Kyung as she used her hand to make some drawings in the air.

"He really saved you and you're now thinking about him?, How stupid".

"No mom, he said the most amazing things and I just figured out that I couldn't hurt myself so I came down from the bridge" she said.

"Hmm, so who is this that my Eun Kyung speaks so lovely of, what is his name?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh my God I didn't ask, I was so upset that I didn't bother asking, Ohh mother I screwed up again" Eun Kyung prattled.

"You said you were upset and I'm asking for what exactly?, Eun Kyung you really messed up big time" said Eun Hee and Eun Kyung lamented more loudly.

"Eun Kyung keep quiet will you?, I'm just being patient with you because you're going to high school, if not I would have flogged you really bad" said Eun Hee and Eun Kyung laughed hard.

"Yeah yeah, Whatever" she said.

"What did you say?" Asked Eun Hee and she grabbed a pillow but Eun Kyung ran off before she could throw it to her.

The next day, Eun Kyung packed her bag and her mother led her out where Him Chan waited.

"Good morning lovely people" he greeted

"Good morning uncle Him Chan, I believe I'm ready, right mom?.

Eun Hee hit Eun Kyung's shoulder.

"She's ready. Thank you so much Him Chan, I'm more than grateful" she said.

"Forget it, come Eun Kyung let me put your bag in the trunk" he said and Eun Kyung gave him her bag. Now she turned to her mother.

"I'll miss you mother" she said and hugged her mother as tears filled her eyes.

"Oh Eun Kyung my darling, why are you crying so much when it's just Hana, it isn't even so far from here so you could come visit anytime you want" she said.

"Eomma" wept Eun Kyung.

"I love you my darling, just remember that".

"You know I really love this part of the drama but we have to hurry, I don't really like night journeys" said Him Chan and both of them chuckled.

"Take care" said Eun Hee and Eun Kyung nodded.

She got into the car and Eun Hee waved as Him chan drove off.

"How far is your house?" Asked Eun Kyung.

"Not so far though but a little farther than you expect" he said and she smiled.

"Thank you uncle Him" she said.

"You know I kinda like that, you should call me Uncle Him more often" he said.

"Okay" she replied.

They reached home and as both got down, the house door opened and a little boy ran to Him chan's arms.

"Hey buddy, did you miss me?" He asked and the little boy nodded.

" That's lovely, I bought you something wait" said Him and opened the car door to bring something.

The little boy then faced Eun Kyung who offered him a smile.

"Here buddy" said Him Chan he handling the boy a toy car and he smiled.

" Oh Eun Kyung I'm sorry, this is Hwang my son, Hwang this is your new sister Eun Kyung say Hi".

"Hi, I'm Hwang nice to meet you Eun Kyung" he said.

Eun Kyung smiled. "Same here Hwang, do you like chocolate?" She asked and he nodded.

Eun Kyung put her hand in her pocket and drew out a chocolate biscuit.

"Here, have this" She said.

"Wow!!, thank you Eun Kyung" he said and rushed to her in a hug.

"Glad you guys are familiarizing early, come now let's go inside" he said.

It was night and three of them sat down to eat dinner.

"Eun Kyung you have to be up early tomorrow morning, I have to be at school before 8am" said Him and Eun Kyung nodded.

They finished dinner and Eun Kyung sat with Hwang on the couch as he watched his favorite cartoon show.

"Em Hwang, did your Mom go anywhere?, she should be here right?" She asked.

"Em, well my dad said she traveled, she will come back soon on my birthday hopefully" he replied nonchalantly as he munched his cookies.

" Oh okay" she replied.

"Okay Eun Kyung, here is your uniform" said Him Chan as he handled her a bag.

"Really?, That was so fast" she said and slowly brought out the cloth.

"Well your mother gave me your measurement so I decided not to hesitate on this one. No need trying it on now, I'm certain it's your exact size" he said.

"Thank you uncle" said Eun Kyung and she hugged him.

"It's okay honey, now go to bed, it's late already".

Eun Kyung spoke with her mother over the phone before she slept off.

A loud hit on Eun Kyung's door woke her up, she rubbed her eyes lazily and closed them again. The heavy bang came the second time and she woke up.

She walked to the door and opened it to see Hwang with a stick.

" Hey Hwang, what are you doing?" She asked a little bit sleepy.

"Hey Eun Kyung it's 7:30am, you're late" he said.

" Oh no!".

Eun Kyung rushed to the bathroom on her night wear, she had the fastest bath in history, wore her uniform and grabbed her bag. She rushed to the dinning table and saw Him Chan having breakfast.

" Hmm you're fast, come eat" he offered and she smiled slowly seating on the chair.

Eun Kyung hurriedly ate the bread and drank the tea when she choked.

" Hey Eun Kyung calm down" said Him and she faked a smile running to the kitchen, she grabbed a glass of water and drank it all

" Oh God" she Said breathing heavily.

She walked to the dinning

" Can we?" Asked Him Chan and she nodded.

"Wait!!" Yelled Hwang and the both turned to him.

" Eun Kyung you look like a scarecrow on your first day"

"Huh?" Exclaimed Eun Kyung.

" Come" said Hwang and he climbed the chair and combed Eun Kyung's hair neatly, he then sprayed her some deodorant.

"Now that's my sister Eun Kyung, you look prettier than a rock star" he praised and she smiled.

"Thanks Hwang, I love you"

"I love you more!!" He yelled as she got into the car and it drove off.

"What are you smiling at" asked Him when he saw Eun Kyung smiling.

"I like it here, I think I like Hwang more than I like you" she said and he raised a brow.

"You're not serious, you have to take that back, that's awful and I feel terrible" he said and both laughed.

"I talked to him about his mother, when is she coming back?" She asked and Him became quiet.

"Em uncle Him, did I say something wrong?" She asked and he signed.

"Eun Kyung could you please not talk stuffs like that with Hwang, he is still a kid and you could have asked me personally" he said.

"Em, I'm sorry.... I didn't realize" she apologized.

"It's okay, she will come back soon, she always leaves the country for some job, it really takes her time but I'm used to it and it's good that you're here at least Hwang won't feel alone anymore" he said and Eun Kyung smiled.

"Who would leave such a wonderful kid behind for a job?, Women really" she mumbled

They reached the school and Him drove into the compound before pulling over.

" So here we are Eun Kyung, go straight and move right, that's the assembly hall other students will be waiting there. This is the beginning of the term and the students will be addressed, don't worry you'll be fine" he said.

Eun Kyung faked a smile and got down.

"Hey Eun Kyung!" Called Him Chan and she turned to him. "You'll be fine just have fun, today shouldn't be any harder" he said and with that he drove off.

Eun Kyung inhaled deeply before she walked into the building.

She reached the assembly hall, it was very large and beautiful, there were lots of students who spoke to each other, like every normal high school there were group of girls who would be the rich kids with the looks, group of boys who stood at a corner talking loudly, they were probably the bad and annoying boys. She felt different about the whole stuff, everything seemed perfect, she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.

" Yes!" She muttered and smiled all excited.

Turning from where she stood, her eyes caught someone, she knew that face that smile those lips.

" Oh my God" she gasped.

"It's him, that guy who saved me" she said and hurriedly began to walk towards him.

"Hey" called Eun Kyung as she reached where the guy stood, there were some girls he was speaking with before he turned to her.

" Hi" she said and smiled.

The guy looked around to see if she was really talking to him.

"I'm sorry have we met?" He asked and Eun Kyung's eyes widened.

"What do you mean?, How could you forget about me so easily. It's me Eun Kyung, remember the bridge?" she asked.

" Ya, I don't know you from anywhere, my name is Choi Seo Yun okay I'm sure that doesn't ring a bell so just turn around and leave" he said.

" What are you saying?, You didn't tell me your name but I'm certain it's this face, why are you lying?, Are you embarrassed by me?" She asked and Seo Yun looked at her before he looked straight.

" I'm talking to you" said Eun Kyung slightly annoyed.

Seo Yun looked around and saw that attention was directed to them. "Ya, I'm warning you, stay away from me I don't know you don't you get it!!" he yelled.

Eun Kyung was confused, what was his problem.

"Ya!" She called tapping his shoulder.

"Let go" said Seo Yun without turning to her

"Ya!" Called Eun Kyung again.

"I said let go!!" He yelled and turned back forcefully hitting her with his elbow, Eun Kyung fell to the ground afterwards.

Everyone laughed heavily making the assembly hall echo with so much of noise.

"Enough!!"

Everyone looked up and saw the principal standing at the corridor.

" There shouldn't be any noise here and you know it. Now let's sing the National Anthem".

Eun Kyung looked around as no one looked at her anymore, they were arranging themselves in lines to sing the National Anthem. She sighed and tried standing up when someone extended a hand, she looked up to see who it was.

" You're not gonna stand?, Believe me you don't want to be seen there when they start singing the national anthem".

Eun Kyung took the girl's hand and stood up.

"I'm Nari" she said.

"Eun Kyung" .

"Nice to meet you Eun Kyung" said Nari and she offered a smile.

"Nice to meet you Nari" said Eun Kyung faking a smile.

Everyone then began to sing the National Anthem.

The principal made a speech to welcome all the students.

"It's my pleasure to welcome all the students both old and new, for the old students I'm happy because your grades has really made this school proud and for the new ones, I hope you all will make us proud, welcome everyone once again".

Everyone clapped and marched to their various classes when the assembly was closed.

Eun Kyung and Nari walked to the class quietly when Nari spoke up.

" You have guts to approach Seo Yun like that, believe me he is a total jerk. Do you know him?" She asked.

" Well... I... I think so" she stammered and Nari stopped.

"Think?, How could you think and you approached him like you've known him for long, if you don't want to tell me it's fine Eun Kyung just don't lie" she said.

Eun Kyung turned to her.

" I've met with him before but I never got his name, I just don't understand why he would deny knowing me" she said.

" On what circumstance did you meet with him?" She asked.

Eun Kyung turned to her. "I don't want to talk about it" she said and Nari smiled.

"That's fair, I hope you have fun here"

"I hope so too, are you a new student?" Asked Eun Kyung and Nari nodded.

"I started last year but this is our second term" she said.

"So it means I've already lost a term?" Asked Eun Kyung.

"Yup" replied Nari and Eun Kyung halted.

"Oh no".

"Hey Nari!" A guy called and Nari turned to him with Eun Kyung.

"Sorry to bother but Mrs Chen is asking of you" he said.

"Oh, hey Eun Kyung, walk down the stairs and go right the second classroom is our class and my seat is on the fourth roll the second seat counting from the left, chairs are on two pairs, I could pair with you. I hope you got it?" Asked Nari.

"Oh yes I do" replied Eun Kyung and Nari left with the guy.

Eun Kyung walked down the stairs and went into the classroom. She sat down on a pair of the chair and dropped her bag, there were few students in the class and they talked together, she could tell that they knew each other for long.

She sighed and brought out her dairy from her bag.

A loud noise and chatter made Eun Kyung look up to see who it was, it was the Seo Yun of a guy, he stopped at the entrance of the classroom and looked at her, he was in the company of two girls.

Eun Kyung wondered why he was looking at her, did he finally remember who she was, maybe he did.

After staring at her for a while Seo Yun then walked to where she sat.

"Hey stand up" he said.

"Huh?, Why?" Asked Eun Kyung not believing what he just said.

"Must you follow me everywhere?, Why can't you just stay on your own and leave me?" He asked raising his voice.

"Follow you?, Why would I even do that, you're just a lair pretending you don't know me when you do, tell me why are you lying?, Are you ashamed of me because of them?, Tell me!!?" She yelled.

"You're insane" he said.

"Oh really, you come to my seat to insult me who is actually insane here?, I believe it's you".

"You're on my seat that's why I'm here" he said.

"What!, Now I know you're really insane, this is Nari's seat so back off" she said.

Seo Yun looked at her for a while then he grabbed her arm and stood her to her feet.

"What are you doing?, Let me go!" She yelled.

"Nari's seat is the second counting from the left but you're on the second counting from the right" now he pushed her to the position of Nari's seat and she fell to the ground, she looked up but her school bag heavily hit her face, Seo Yun actually threw it on her.

"Here, this ice will help with the wound" said Nari.

"He is a jerk" said Eun Kyung softly.

"Yeah I know but how come you ended up on his seat?" Asked Nari.

"I.. must have forgotten what you told me" said Eun Kyung.

"Forgotten?, It was just a simple instruction you could have asked again if you didn't understand, oh Eun Kyung!" Said Nari.

"Seriously?, Are you gonna reprimand me now?" She asked.

"I'm not I just...."

"Yes you are, you must think I'm stupid not to be able to remember what you said right?" She asked.

"Eun Kyung, I'm just correcting you" said Nari.

"That's not how I thought correction should be, felt more like a scold" she said and slowly walked out.

"Eun Kyung wait!" Said Nari but she already left.

Eun Kyung walked to the library and took a book, that was crazy because she never understood what was on a book, she sighed and opened it.

"He is so handsome unlike his brother".

"Yeah and I heard he will partake in the math competition, he will represent our school".

"Yes that's true and I'm sure we will win, he is such a leader".

Eun Kyung turned backwards and saw the girls who spoke quietly to each other.

"Sorry who are you talking about?" She asked.

One of the girls looked at her.

"Why do you care?" She asked.

"The head boy that's who we're talking about. Let's go Jen" said the other and both of them left.

Suddenly a woman walked to Eun Kyung.

"Get out of the library" she said aggressively.

"Huh?, Why?, What did I do?" Asked Eun Kyung.

"You're having a conversation in the library so get out!!" She yelled and people turned to them.

Eun Kyung nervously stood up, carried her bag and left. She had enough embarrassment for one day. She stood at the school gate when Him Chan drove in his car.

"Why are you waiting here?, The school compound would have been safer" he said.

" I'm fine uncle and I liked it here" she replied.

" Okay get in let's go" he said.

Eun Kyung laid on her bed as she stared at the celling, everything was really bad.

" Hey Eun Kyung" called Hwang as he walked into the room.

" I made cookies for you" he said but Eun Kyung said nothing.

"Eun Kyung!" He called again but she remained quiet.

" Okay I'll just come back when you're in the mood to talk" he said.

"Wait Hwang" said Eun Kyung and he stopped.

"I knew you'd not let me leave like that" he said and Eun Kyung smiled.

"I made cookies, it's gonna be sugary because I was using the net and didn't really get the exact measurement".

Eun Kyung sat up and had a taste. "Are you serious?, It's amazing and you're a professional" she said and he smiled.

"Thanks, though I know it's not that perfect' he said and she chuckled.

"Come here baby boy" she said and Hwang climbed the bed.

" Thank you so much" she said and kissed his forehead.

"So you wanna talk about it?" He asked.

"Talk about what?" Asked Eun Kyung curious.

"Your first day, I have a hunch that it was a total disaster, tell me I'm right" he said.

"You're totally right but details I'll keep to myself" she said.

"Oh come on Eun Kyung" he prattled.

"Will a story do?" She asked him.

"No I want the details" he said.

" Think about it!, The details will be small and boring but a story will be long and amazing so decide" she said.

"You're cunning Eun Kyung and smart too but I'll choose... The story" he said.

"Good boy, okay once upon a time...".

Hwang come have dinner" said Him Chan as he opened the door to Hwang's room but he wasn't on his bed.

"Hwang no strength for hide and seek" he said still looking for him.

Him Chan then climbed the stairs to Eun Kyung's room and on opening the door there laid Hwang and Eun Kyung, they seemed fast asleep.

Eun Kyung had her hands wrapped round Hwang.

He smiled and slowly left the room closing the door.

Eun Kyung walked out of the house and got into the car.

"So how was yesterday?, I never got to ask" said Him Chan as he started the engine.

"Em, it was good, normal" she replied.

"Hmm okay, I wanted to thank you for taking care of Hwang yesterday".

"Oh it was nothing, Hwang is like a sibling I never had so I feel so happy around him" she replied and Him smiled.

"Let's hope today gets better" said Him and he started the engine.

"Let's hope" mumbled Eun Kyung.

Eun Kyung got down from her uncle's car and walked into the school building.

Reaching her class she found a seat at the back and sat on it.

Every student walked into the class happily as they spoke and made noise, just then Eun Kyung's eyes met with Seo Yun's, she looked away immediately and he chuckled, he stood from his seat and walked to her seat.

"Hey stalker why are you here?, Look the owner of that seat is mean, he could kill you if he finds you on his seat so if I were you, I'd run now I still have legs to do so" he said.

"Get lost" said Eun Kyung.

"What did you say?" He asked and Eun Kyung stood up and looked directly at him.

"I said get lost!" She said and he chuckled.

"You little...".

"Get seated students" a teacher's voice distracted them.

"Hey, we'll continue this discussion later"said Seo Yun.

Everyone sat down and the teacher started teaching..

A guy on black walked into the class, he looked at everyone before he began walking towards Eun Kyung's seat.

Eun Kyung's heart missed a beat, did it mean that Seo Yun was right, the guy walking close to her looked scary.

He reached her and looked down on her.

"You're on my seat" he said in a deep and coarse voice.

Eun Kyung swallowed hard and slowly stood up.

Everyone burst into laughter as she carried her bag and walked out of the seat.

"You could sit here" said the teacher pointing at the front desk.

Everyone gasped. "Oh Miss, the guy who has the seat is representing our school in the Math competition, he would resume class soon, don't let someone like her seat there" said a girl and everyone agreed.

"It will just be for a while, come now please" said the teacher and Eun Kyung walked to the front, she turned backwards and saw Nari, she seemed quiet but someone sat on the other pair of the seat behind her was Seo Yun, now he would really frustrate her.

"What's your name?" Asked the woman

"Eun Kyung" she replied.

"Nice to meet you Eun Kyung!!" Yelled Seo Yun and everyone burst into laughter.

"Seo Yun!!" Yelled the teacher.

"Don't mind him my dear, sit" she said.

"Thank you" said Eun Kyung and as she bent to seat, the chair was removed and she hit her butt on the ground.

Everyone now laughed heavily and the teacher turned to see Eun Kyung on the ground rubbing her butt painfully.

"Oh my God are you okay?" She asked and helped her up.

"Yes I'm fine" said Eun Kyung.

"Seo Yun!, Leave my class now!!" She yelled and everyone made a murmuring sound.

"I didn't do it, she didn't see where she was sitting" said Seo Yun.

"Yes Miss he didn't do it, Eun Kyung is clumsy" said guy and everyone laughed.

"Quiet all of you, Eun Kyung is a new student, treat her well" said the teacher.

" Yes Miss" they replied mockingly.

The teacher was done teaching and she left the class, Eun Kyung sat quietly on the seat, she didn't turn backwards to say or look at anyone or anything.

"Eun Kyung" Called Nari and Eun Kyung looked up.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm better" replied Eun Kyung.

"Better?, You don't look better, Seo Yun has really had a liking to you, you've become one of those people he always taunts, I mean many would have committed suicide by the way he mocks them".

"He saved my life when I wanted to commit suicide" said Eun Kyung and Nari looked at her for a while and burst into laughter.

"What's so funny Nari?" Asked Eun Kyung not knowing what was funny.

"Are you kidding me?, Seo Yun saved your life?, What kind of stupid joke is that?"

"I'm not joking Nari, he really did, that's why I'm being patient with him because I owe him" said Eun Kyung.

"Eun kyung stop this, Seo Yun can never do anything good for anyone except his brother so just forget about it" said Nari.

Eun Kyung sighed, "Maybe he's just pretending not to know me" said Eun Kyung.

"Or maybe you took him for someone else, whatever let's go to class.

Eun Kyung and Nari walked to the classroom and on entering it they both fell heavily on the ground.

" Oh my God, I sprained my ankle" wept Nari, Eun Kyung stood up and helped her up.

"Eun Kyung it hurts please help me" she wept.

Some students helped Nari to her seat and Eun Kyung tried to stretch the ankle but Nari won't let her.

"Who did this?" Asked Eun Kyung to a girl.

" How would I know" she replied and turned from her.

"It's Seo Yun right?" She asked again.

"Hey Eun Kyung, stop questioning me" she said.

Eun Kyung angrily grabbed the girl and pushed her to the wall to the surprise of everyone.

"Seo Yun did this right!!" She yelled and the girl nodded in fear.

"Eun Kyung just let it be, I'll be fine" said Nari.

"Take care of her for me okay?" Said Eun Kyung to a girl and she left.

Eun Kyung walked outside the building in search for Seo Yun. She turned right and saw two girls with a guy who backed her, she then walked slowly to them, the guy now turned so she could see his face. "Seo Yun!!" She called running to where he stood.

The guy with the girls then looked at her as she approached them.

On reaching the guy, Eun Kyung gave him a slap that surprised everyone.

He didn't flinch, he turned his face and looked at her.

"What?!!, Hit me, come on hit me!!, My friend sprained her ankle because of you, why should you play such a game, it was me you were after right?, Why hurt Nari?".

"Excuse me, you don't have any right to hit him, just leave now you still have the chance" said a girl and Eun Kyung pushed her but the other girl caught her before she reached the ground.

"Say something Seo Yun!!" Yelled Eun Kyung as she hit him hard on his chest.

Him Chan had finished teaching a class and walked to his office was he saw a commotion involving....

"Eun Kyung?!".

"You won't talk?" Asked Eun Kyung and she looked around, seeing a container of paint she hurriedly took it up.

"Eun Kyung don't!!!" Yelled Him running to her but she emptied it on his clothes.

He didn't still flinch, while the girls were running from the paint he just stood there and Eun Kyung didn't understand why.

"Seo Jun!!" A voice yelled and as Eun Kyung turned to see who called, someone pushed her with force but Him Chan caught her before she fell.

"Are you okay bro?", Now the guy turned to Eun Kyung.

Eun Kyung's eye's widened he was Seo Yun but the guy she poured paint on... Who was he?.

"Hey you fool how could you insult my brother like that huh?" Yelled Seo Yun.

"It's okay kid please, let's go Eun Kyung" said Him Chan and he took her away.

Eun Kyung sat quietly with her uncle, she didn't understand, he looked so much like Seo Yun, no wonder he was quiet, Seo Yun would never be quiet, she messed up big time.

"Are you done scolding yourself?" Asked Him Chan and she looked up at him.

"Good. Get your bag, we're leaving, I don't want anyone asking anymore questions" .

Eun Kyung got her bag and began to leave the class when Nari walked to her.

"It's not your fault, lots of people got confused at first but with time you will know they don't even look like each other" she said.

"Are they twins?" She asked.

"Yes but Seo Jun behaves like the older one and he is the school head while Seo Yun is the stubborn fly. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Seo Jun" she said.

"So there's Seo Yun and Seo Jun?" She asked.

"Definitely" replied Nari.

"How's your ankle?" .

"I don't know but I know I'll feel better tomorrow" said Nari with a smile.

Eun Kyung and her uncle reached home and they got inside, Hwang was asleep so Eun Kyung just walked to her room.

On reaching her bed she laid on it, everything seemed clear now. Seo Jun was the guy who saved her life and Seo Yun was his twin younger brother, she kept bothering Seo Yun like he was her saviour but her real saviour Seo Jun was just around the corner, she didn't even look well at him if she did she would have figured out that he wasn't Seo Yun but Seo Jun the guy she had been waiting for. Tears dropped from her eyes, she was fond of ruining stuffs and she messed up again big time.

Eun Kyung opened her eyes to the bright morning, she still wore her uniform, she must have slept off after crying last night.

She went to the shower and had her bath.

Him Chan was on his laptop when Eun Kyung walked to the sitting room.

He looked up and saw her, "It's good you're not on your uniform cause you're not going to school today".

"Why?" Asked Eun Kyung quietly.

"Because I have to go and solve the problem you created", now he closed the laptop and sat up.

"Eun Kyung why did you do that?, That was Choi Seo Jun one of the best students and you just insulted him like he was a normal person, well from all I know he doesn't look for trouble and lives a simple life in school but if he did hurt you, you could have just told me instead of taking matters into your hands".

"I'm sorry" said Eun Kyung.

"Not to me, tell that to Seo Jun" with that he stood up and left.

Tears filled Eun Kyung's eyes, she just got the scholarship and she messed up.

"Eun Kyung, your mom called the house line, she said she wants to talk to you" said Hwang.

"Tell her I went out" said Eun Kyung.

Hwang was quiet for a while before he spoke up.

"I don't know what's happening but I don't think I like the version of Eun Kyung that I'm seeing".

"I don't care!!" Yelled Eun Kyung and Hwang startled.

"Just go away" she said and he frowned.

"Well fine, stay all by yourself!" Said Hwang and he walked away.

Later in the evening Eun Kyung walked outside the house and saw Hwang on the swing.

"Hey" she called and he turned to her.

"Are you done with your anger?, He asked and she chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I've been a bad lady and I'm sorry" .

Hwang smiled, "Why do you say sorry all the time?, It doesn't make sense. Anyways I love it" he said and she smiled.

"I think I'll stop it" she said, "You better not" said Hwang.

Him Chan drove into the compound and sighted both of them laughing together.

Later in the day, Eun kyung met with Him Chan outside the house.

"How did it go?" She asked.

Him Chan faced her and sighed

"The principal is very angry and he wants to expel you" now Eun Kyung's heart missed a beat.

"She said you had no right to fight anyone and worse was that you're a new student, she said you'll be a bad example to others" .

Tears filled Eun Kyung's eyes, "I didn't mean to do it" she muttered in tears.

"Did you say something?" He asked and looked at her, "I messed up" she said avoiding his stare.

"You really did. Luckily for us the principal changed her mind to suspension with hard labor for two weeks".

"I should probably call my Mom".

"No Eun Kyung, you won't be leaving the school and that's the important thing. Seo Jun begged on your behalf, I really didn't know why he was so much defending you, he refused all the punishment that were given to you, he said Seo Yun hurt you and you took him to be Seo Yun".

"What?" Asked Eun Kyung.

"Yes I was surprised myself, I kept quiet and he handled the whole situation but the principal didn't want you to go free, she said you must apologize to Seo Jun at the assembly hall tomorrow, that won't be hard" he said.

"I.. don't get it.." stammered Eun Kyung.

Him now touched her shoulder, "It's okay, it's just an apology it won't be hard and I'm sorry for how I handled the matter yesterday, looks like I was so pissed" he said.

"It's okay" she said and he hugged her.

The next day Eun Kyung dressed up and walked out.

"I'm ready" she said.

"Okay, let's go" said Him

"Em Eun Kyung, don't mess this one up, it's just an apology how hard could it be, you say sorry all the time" said Hwang and Him chuckled.

"It won't be difficult, let's go".

They reached the school compound and Eun Kyung got down from the car.

"Just calm down and you'll be fine" he said.

"Thanks uncle".

Eun Kyung walked inside the hall, there were lots of people staring at her and she felt goosebumps all over her body. She tried walking fast and bumped into someone whose book fell down.

"I'm so sorr.." Eun Kyung stopped half way on seeing who is was. The face was calm and cool, he wasn't annoyed but gently bent down to pick his book, those eyes were amazing... How come she never knew the difference.

He then faced her as she continued looking at him, he sighed and walked from her but she grabbed his arm.

Seo Jun looked at Eun Kyung who grabbed his hand but hurriedly let go off him when she realized what she was doing.

"I'm sorry... I em... Well I wanted to ask, why did you defend me yesterday?".

Seo Jun raised a brow. "Defend you?, Why would I do that?". He asked and Eun Kyung was shocked.

"But... I thought.." now she stopped, she wasn't supposed to ask him that, he would think the discussion had been leaked.

"Forget about what I said... It wasn't supposed to come out like that".

"Really?, Then how was it supposed to come out?" He asked.

"Look, I'm sorry about yesterday I..".

"You're not sorry?, A crime has been committed the culprit has to pay" he said and offered her a smile before walking away.

That smile, Eun Kyung had seen it before, Seo Yun never smiled like that. Suddenly he stopped and turned to her.

"It wasn't yesterday" he said and left.

The assembly had started fully and Eun Kyung couldn't help but panic, at every second her heart beat became faster.

The time finally reached and Seo Jun was called to give a speech. Once he was done the principal called Eun Kyung up.

"It's gonna be alright" whispered Nari to Eun Kyung.

Eun Kyung offered her a smile and walked out of the crowd, her heart was beating rapidly as all eyes were on her, she looked up and saw her uncle he seemed to encourage her to proceed her eyes then moved to Seo Jun, he seemed to watch her closely and she panicked even more, about reaching the staircase, Eun Kyung's leg hit on something hard and she fell heavily to the ground.

The whole hall was filled with laugher of various kind.

Tears filled her eyes, there was no way she would fall like that, it just wasn't possible, she looked back and saw Seo Yun.

The fool was the only one capable of doing that.

"Miss Jo Eun Kyung, why are you still on the ground?" Asked the principal and Eun Kyung hurriedly stood up, she slowly began to climb the stairs.

Eun Kyung was now standing in front of Seo Jun whose eyes never left her.

"Jo Eun Kyung, you're here to apologize to Choi Seo Jun for insulting him, now get along with it".

"Yes Ma" said Eun Kyung and she faced Seo Jun.

Eun Kyung gulped. "Seo Jun...

"Louder" said the principal.

Tears started to form in her eyes, that was so much of an embarrassment.

"Just say something, anything" whispered Seo Jun and Eun Kyung looked up at him.

Eun Kyung breath in and spoke.

"I'm sorry for behaving the way I did. I want to apologize to everyone here, the principal, teachers, students, friends, everyone looking up to me....

"Who's looking up to you!!" Yelled a student from the crowd and everyone laughed loudly.

"That's enough!!" Yelled the principal.

Tears now flowed from her eyes, "And to you Seo Jun, I'm so sorry and I promise to never behave the way I did ever again".

"What do you have to say Seo Jun?".

"Apology declined!" Yelled another student.

"Apology accepted" said Seo Jun and Eun Kyung looked at him as he smiled at her.

"It's been accepted a long time ago". He said.

"Okay, everyone Eun Kyung is now forgive and will be treated fairly, anyone who treats her otherwise will be punished. Now let's close this assembly" said the principal.

" You did good" said Him Chan and Eun Kyung smiled.

"Thanks uncle".

"I have to get to class, wipe your tears and move along with other students" he said and left.

Eun Kyung walked slowly to her class room when she saw Seo Jun with those two girls, she hurriedly rushed to him.

"Hi" she said and he looked at her.

"Give me some time" said Seo Jun and the girls left.

"I wanted to thank you for everything" she said.

You don't have to" he said.

"But why?, I.."

"It's not necessary, I'm just happy it was me who got hurt, you should leave Seo Yun now, don't go after him anymore" he said.

"I will try but he shouldn't bother me anymore" she said.

"Bother??".

"Hey Seo Jun!!" Yelled Seo Yun and he rushed to his brother's side.

"Hey, what do you want Eun Kyung?, See I told you not to forgive her, she's just a stalker who won't leave me alone" grinned Seo Yun.

"Stalker?" Now Eun Kyung chuckled. "Only a fool will stalk you Seo Yun" said Eun Kyung and both brothers looked at her.

"What did you say?" Asked Seo Yun.

"That's enough Seo Yun, let's go" said Seo Jun but Seo Yun won't listen and pushed him aside.

"I said you're nothing but a scumbag hiding in the shadows of your brother".

"How dare you!!" Yelled Seo Yun and he raised his hand to hit Eun Kyung.
