HER FATE, HIS CURSE

Darla sat down in the car with the strange guy. He seemed like the quiet type, but she still didn't know anything about her so-called boss. She sighed, staring out the window. She sniffled as she remembered her mom she was everything to her, and now she was gone. A knock on the car window snapped her back to reality. She quickly wiped her tears. The guy was standing outside, staring at her. She quickly got out of the car, and her mouth fell open seeing the big house in front of her. This was very big and beautiful. Do humans live here? Because this was like heaven.

She turned to see the guy already walking into the house and ran after him. Her mouth fell open again seeing the inside of the house it looked even more beautiful on the inside.

"This is our house. I'll call my brothers down," he said, heading toward the stairs when two guys appeared. They were both holding laptops and wearing only shorts and tank tops. They stopped when they saw Darla.

"Hey dude, who is she?" the white-haired guy asked. He was Jaxon Maverick, a 23-year-old guy. He was handsome and intelligent the Fourth Knight. His favorite color was white, and his personality was one of a kind, always playful and smiling. He was the best at car racing, but someone was better than him.

"It might be his girlfriend," the red-haired guy said, chuckling. He was Gavin Holloway, a 22-year-old guy handsome and brave. He was a cricketer who always loved playing cricket. His personality was neither calm nor cold he was the Third Knight.

"She's the new maid. She'll be doing the cooking in our house," the guy who came with Darla said. He was Ryan Felix, a 23-year-old guy who was always good at video games he was a gamer. His mood depended on how the day went. He was the Second Knight.

"New maid? I thought Mrs. Betty never had another daughter?" Jaxon asked, staring at Darla with a smile. She found the smile awkward, but she managed to keep her composure.

"She's not Mrs. Betty's daughter. By the way, what's your name?" Ryan asked. She swallowed nervously. The three of them staring at her was making her feel weird, and she wouldn't deny that she was very scared right now.

"I... I... I'm Dar... la," she stuttered. Jaxon laughed, staring at her. He really found her amusing like, why was she stuttering? Was she that scared of them?

"Breathe, girl. We don't bite."

Darla breathed in nervously before answering, "I'm Darla."

"Nice having you here, Darla. We have rules you must follow in this house," Gavin said, staring at her. She couldn't read the look in his eyes, but she knew for sure that he didn't like her.

"I'll show you your room," Ryan said, walking upstairs. He suddenly stopped. Darla swallowed hard, expecting him to say something to her, but he wasn't even talking to her.

"Where is Sin?"

"I don't know. Maybe you should ask this cricket he might know." Gavin glared at Jaxon, who smiled at him.

"Why ask me when you know we left this house together?" Ryan rolled his eyes and signaled Darla to follow him. They finally walked upstairs.

"This will be your room from now on. When you get to the kitchen, we have our food timetable. Don't bother making lunch we don't eat lunch..." Ryan said, walking toward the door. Darla sighed, about to sit on the bed when Ryan's voice spoke up.

"There's someone you should stay away from. He's not a loving soul. Rest well." Ryan finally walked out of the room. She sat down on the bed, thinking about the strange person. Who was he?

"You came home today because of what exactly?" a guy asked, rolling his eyes. The second guy ignored him completely.

"I see you're now good at ignoring people, right?" the guy asked again. He was Cassius Brooke, the first son of the Brooke family. The guy continued ignoring him.

"Just let him be. He's not our problem for now," a lady said, scoffing. The guy stood up and finally walked out of the house.

"He's always acting like a king when he's not. I hate him," Cassius said, clenching his fist.

"Let him be for now. I've dealt with him before just leave everything to me," the woman (Mia) said. Cassius smiled.

"I trust you," Cassius said, hugging his mom.

Darla set the dining table before going to the living room to call them. They followed her without saying a word and sat down, ready to eat, when they suddenly stopped.

"Test the food," Gavin said. Darla swallowed, testing the meals one after the other. They served themselves. Darla bowed, walking into the kitchen. She sighed, eating slowly. Her mind went to the Knights they were four, right? How come she had only seen three of them? But it wasn't supposed to be her business, right?

11 PM

The whole house was quiet, making Darla scared. She thought she lived with three guys why was the house so silent? She rubbed her sleepy eyes, walking out of her room. She walked all the way to the kitchen, feeling very sleepy. She entered the kitchen and suddenly bumped into a wall no, it wasn't a wall, but someone. She rushed to the light switch and turned on the lights. She gasped, seeing the chest and abs of the person, then the neck tattoo. She raised her head, and her eyes met his. Her breath stopped immediately seeing the person in front of her. This was the perfect definition of devilishly handsome. He looked so manly and attractive. He had three earrings in his ears, one on his eyebrow, and he also pierced his lips, giving him the devilish vibe.

"Who are you?" he asked coldly. She shivered immediately hearing the tone of his voice-it sounded very dangerous. Oh God, why was she feeling thirsty all of a sudden? This guy's eyes were very cold, and it made her want to be swallowed by the ground.

"I... I'm Dar... la."

The strange guy grabbed her neck immediately, slamming her back against the wall. She gasped in shock, trying to remove his hand, but it was very tight and choking her to death.

"Who the fuck gave you the right to get into my house without my permission?" he asked, tightening his hold on her neck. She held his hand, trying hard to free herself, but it was impossible.

"Sin," a voice called from behind. He didn't bother to turn he was just staring at Darla with hatred in his eyes.

"Dude, are you crazy? Let go of her, Sin," Ryan said, pulling her away from him. Darla coughed, holding her neck.

"Sin, control yourself," Ryan said, then stared at Darla.

"Who is she, and what is she doing in my house?" he asked, glaring at Darla, who was behind Ryan. He felt his blood boiling. How could a girl get into his house without his knowledge? Why would a girl breathe the same air as him?

"She's the new maid."

"I don't care who she is. She should get out of my house. I don't want her or any other woman in my house," Sin yelled. He was Jace Prescott, a 21-year-old psychopath who hated women with everything in him. He hated women talking or breathing the same air as him. He hated women so much he could kill them if he saw them anywhere close to him.

"Get out of my house," Sin said, about to throw a knife at her when Jaxon held his hand.

"Calm down, dude. She won't get anywhere close to you we promise. Just calm down," Jaxon said, holding his hand. Sin glared at Darla, who was already shaking, before walking out of the kitchen. Ryan followed behind.

"That's Sin. Make sure to stay away from him he's very dangerous," Jaxon said with a small smile before going after Ryan. Darla sat down on the floor. Just as he looked devilish, his heart was devilish too.

Sin walk into his room angrily, why would a girl be in the same fucking roof with him, in his house, the door opened Ryan walk into the room

"Sin what was that all about? He asked calmly, he knows sin is in a bad mood and he can do anything at the moment

"Why did you allow a girl into this house? Sin growled angrily at his face he sigh, this is how he is always angry whenever something comes up with his career

"Sin we need this girl, madam Betty quit being our cook and we need someone else, only Gavin knows how to cook and he gets busy with his cricket match, we can't Starve till he returns" Ryan said he scoff picking up a pack of cigarettes

"I don't need her" he said placing the cigarette in-between his lips, Ryan smile hanging a hand around his neck

"So how was today my superstar? Ryan asked Sin remove the cigarette from his lips

"He is trying to get to me but I careless because I sing for the money not for love" Sin said pouring himself a glass of alcoholic wine, Ryan collect it gulping it down

"Ryan " he called groaning, Ryan laugh walking towards the door

"It's almost 3am, sleep bro, tomorrow we're going to college " Ryan said before finally walking out of the room, Sin scoff and continue smoking, the strange girls image flash through his head, he scoff thinking of a way to deal with her, he will make sure to frustrate her, for coming her, she will regret it

Darla set the dinning table with a smile on her face, she woke up happily today and she is never letting the smile on her face go away, it's already 9am and in the timetable it was written that they eat by 8:30am, still no one is down, should she go call them, maybe yes, she was about walking out when someone walk in, she raised her head to see one of the three guys yesterday, Ryan said theirs names were Jaxon and Gavin, this is definitely Gavin

"Good morning sir" Gavin just nodded sitting down, she sigh staring at him, he is kinda cute but Ryan is definitely cuter

"Sit Should I call your brothers? Darla bite her lips immediately he raised his head, he glare at her for a while before looking away without a word, Jaxon walk in with Ryan making her smile, at least they are here

"Morning" she said smiling

"I knew it Darla, I was inhaling something sweet in my dreams" Jaxon said sitting beside Gavin who was just on his phone

"He dude" he called cheerfully Gavin smile shaking his hand

"What's up kid? Gavin asked Jaxon frown

"Hey Darla, here you should get ready you're going to college with us" Ryan said placing some shopping bags on the table, Gavin frown immediately

"Who is going to college with us, her? Gavin asked frowning

"Yes she is coming with us to college, she will be resuming today, I already registered her" Ryan said already eating, Jaxon smile

"Why do you always love taking decisions on your own when you knew that it has everything to do with the four of us " a voice said from the door, Darla turn to see the devil of last night, fear grip her immediately, he is here again, what will he do to her, right now she is scared as fuck, he look so handsome on his black hair which covered his eyes, his lips looks cute and sexy the piercing added more handsomeness to his look, he looks like a bad boy now

"Sin I wanted to tell you guys but everything was too sudden" Ryan said said making Sin stare at him

"Seriously, too suddenly, you bought her into this house and I fucking didn't say anything but this is not happening, how can she go to same college as us, what would happen if we are spotted with a lady? Gavin asked frowning deeply Ryan sigh

"I'm sorry guys, I'm at fault, please" Ryan said sin roll his eyes sitting bestie Ryan, he stare at the food with a disgusting look on his face

"What kind of smelling too" Gavin said covering his nose, Sin stood walking out of the dinning room, Gavin also followed, Ryan smile

"Don't mind them, they will always come around" Ryan said giving her a assuring smiling she nodded smiling too

Ryan's car stopped a street before the college, Darla came out of the car and smile at him

"You should come, it's not that far from here"Jaxon said she nodded smiling

"I will thank you" Darla sat Ryan smile before driving off, Darla sigh walking towards the college, she sigh thinking about the Sin of a guy, why does he hates her so much, she got into the college and gasps seeing how big the college was, she smile staring around this is her dreams comes truth

"Hey watch out beauty" a voice said she raised her hand to see a guy standing in front of her

"Are you okay? The guy asked she nodded staring at him, he is handsome but I think the knights are more handsome

"You must be new here, I'm Weston Brooklyn but you can call me West and you? Weston asked, she smile immediately

After so many teaching it's finally lunch time, Darla arrange her books into her bag and was about leaving when two girl appeared

Darla walk out of the bathroom about going to class when she saw a opened door , she started walking towards it furious to know what room it was, she entered the room looking around, it's a perfect room but it has a swimming pool at the end, she walk towards the pool and stood in front of the pool staring at the water, she was suddenly pushed, she scream loudly falling into the pool, she doesn't even know how to swim, she managed to raised her head to see Sin standing in front of her with a expressionless face

"Help please" Darla said he squat in front of her staring directly into her eyes

"I have come to make your life a living hell, you will regret coming to that house" Sin said and stood on his feet staring at her as she kept struggling with the water, she was seriously drowning and this devil won't even want to help, is she gonna die atba very young age

Weston rush into the pool area immediately he had splash of water, he gasps seeing Darla Inside the swimming pool Sin was standing there staring at her with a expressionless face, he rush to her and immediately dive into the pool, he carried her out of the water, luckily for her she didn't lose consciousness, he stare at Sin angrily and rush to him grabbing his collar

"How dare you, you devil? Weston asked angrily at his face, Sin chuckle coldly staring at him, he wasn't even bothered about him holding his collar

"What happened, do you suddenly love her at first sight or do you want more fans? Sin asked with his usual sick smile, that's what he hates about him which is fucking triggering his anger

"Just shut the fuck up" Weston said staring at him hatefully, he hate him so much for taking what belongs to him, the wealth power and popularity

Gavin walk out of their private class walking towards the packing lot, it's already closing hour and he has a cricket match by 3pm and it's just 2pm, he needs to get prepared, he knew the guys won't be out and it's making him want to strangle the three of them, he was about entering into the car as usual everyone was busy screaming his name, he scoff when he saw the Darla of a girl talking and laughing with Weston

"It's crazy how she is making Sin hate her more" he said getting into the car surprisingly Ryan was already inside with the guys

"Woah so suddenly the one who always arrive early came late" Jaxon said mockingly Gavin roll his eyes sitting beside Sin who was on a phone call, he stare outside through the tinted glass, Darla was busy waving at Weston with a smile on her face, he scoff looking away from her

"Damn I'm very exhausted" Ryan said laying on the couch not even bothering to take off his shoes, Jaxon sat down breathing heavily, Sin stuck his right hand into his pocket while holding his phone with his left hand

"Hey Sin, can you go practice with me? Jaxon asked if he raised his head from his phone

"No I can't, I have songs I'm working on" he replied going upstairs, Ryan screamed wrapping his hand around his neck

"I don't think I have any work at the.......... " He pauses when his phone beeps, he stares at it before sighing

"Maybe I do, im" Ryan said going upstairs while reading the text, Jaxon scoff

"Wicked friends" Jaxon muttered walking upstairs too

"Welcome sir" a man greeted Gavin walk in he nodded going to stand beside his boss

"You're here, I have been waiting for you, you're 10 minutes late I don't deserve an apology from you because I know you won't " Mr Adams said Gavin ignored him collecting the bat from the female worker, she smiled happily, she had always admired him but he just doesn't notice

Darla walk into the house and was surprised to see it very silent, like there's no one around, she actually came late because she trek all the way home and it's a very far distance, she walk up to her room and drop her bag on the bed, she walk into the bathroom and freshen up before going towards the wardrobe, it was already filled with clothes all thanks to Ryan and Jaxon, she wonder how Sin and Gavin became friends with there two, they're kind but Sin and Gavin are damn wicked and hates her for no reason l, she put on her clothes before walking downstairs, she got to the kitchen and started cooking after what seems like forever she was finally done, she walk to the sitting room just to meet a music video playing on the TV, she started dancing the steps they were dancing in the video while screaming at the top of her voice dancing and twisting her waist dancing to song not even bothering to check who sang it

Ryan walk into the gaming room and sat down on his chair picking up the remote control, he wear his headphones and started playing the video game, he is the best gamer in the gaming company, he clap immediately he finished playing, he came out first as usual
