HEARTLESS SOUL

CHAPTER 01

I quickly changed into my Ninja outfit which was all black and fitted perfectly on my body.

I took some gadgets which I'll need to carry out my mission which includes;An airsoft pistol, a Poison blade and some burst dots.

I sneaked out through the window and headed to the garage.

Bringing out a control remote, i pressed a button on it.

Hah here it is,my "Terminator salvation bike", the fastest bike ever built.

Soon i was on top, and after covering my face with a mask, i speed off.

At exactly 1:30am i got to my destination and packed my bike in one of the bushes.

What was my mission?

Simple and cheesy, to kill Mr Salvador.

He is a very famous and rich business Tycho in the whole of America.

He even owns the Salvador's Dali museum here in Florida.

I quickly headed to the back gate because there is obviously no guard there by this time.

I climbed the fence and made my way to where his room was located.

I brought out my boot, not just any type of boot.

It was made specially for climbing walls.

I was able to climb the wall and got to the window of his room.

I brought out my laser and opened the window.

Entering his room i saw him lying peaceful on his bed.

I can't believe he's here sleeping after ruining so many lives.

Well i guess this is his last.

I brought out my pistol which already has a silencer.

Aiming it straight at his forehead, i release the trigger sending a bullet into his forehead.

I tiptoed to where he was lying and felt his pulse.

Perfect he's dead.

I placed a kiss on his forehead making the blood stain on my lips.

Heading back to the window, i climbed down and drove off.

I got home at exactly 2:00am.

Hmm that was an easy task.

I changed into my pyjamas after having a bath.

I crawled to my bed feeling extremely happy.

You know that special joy you feel when you accomplish something no one has ever accomplished ,

That's how I feel now.

NEXT MORNING

AT THE F. B. I HEADQUARTERS IN ORLANDO (10:00AM)

XAVIER POV

"What's going on?" Commissioner asked hitting his hand hard on the table.

"Am sorry about that sir" I replied.

"You're sorry? Do you think that changes anything.? This is your case and you still haven't figured out a thing about this assassin? "Commissioner asked.

" I know that but still you have to understand this isn't an easy task. I can't figure out a thing because there are no traces i can use to track her down sir"I replied.

" Well you have to do something.30 people including Mr Salvador have been killed by this assassin but still you haven't figured out a thing"He said.

" She isn't just dangerous sir, she's also extremely smart and she's always a step ahead of us,i just need more time sir"I replied.

" More time? There is no time left Xavier, you have to do something quick"he snapped.

I sent a glare at him because right now this man is behaving like a dick head.

Does he think this case is easy?

"Quit giving me those glares and try to get to the bottom of this. You may leave now"He said sitting down.

" Ok sir"I replied before storming out of his office.

How about you come carry out this mission yourself and see if it is an easy one.

Here he is behaving like i can just walk up to any lady, scan her and then boom, figure out that she is the assassin, arrest her then case closed.

Fool.

Men i feel like killing this man .

I swear if i lay my hands on this so called assassin I'll kill her myself.

ALEXA'S POV

I'm actually on my way to our secret hide out because my boss said he wants to see me.

I'm sure he wants to thank me for a job well done.

When I reached, I met my team mate; Veera and Jace.

"Hi everyone" I greeted.

"Oh look who we have here" A voice echoed the room.

Oh , I recognize this voice.

Least I forget to introduce my enemy; Sophia.

She's in our crew but we were never in good terms and we will never be.

Actually she's jealous because boss prefers me over everyone one but not like I give a f**k.

Ignoring her, I headed to Boss' room.

"Good morning boss" I greeted.

"Same. Good thing you came on time, have a sit" Boss replied in his deep muscular and scary voice, enough to make anyone bow to his feet but not for me .

"You sent for me boss" I said sitting down.

"Yes, actually i called you firstly to give you a thumbs up for a job well done. The news of Mr Salvador's death is all over America"

" You can always count on me boss"I replied with an evil smirk.

" Of course, which is why i trust you to carry out this next Mission" Boss said.

"You know am always ready for any called mission"I replied already feeling excited.

Boss was quite for a while and I was already getting irritated.

"KILL THE PRESIDENT" Boss finally said breaking the silence.

Is that all boss" I huffed.

"That's an easy job, yunno"I added playing with my fingers.

" Not as easy as you think, you know the president's security system is tight"Boss said as he paced up and down his room like he was thinking of something.

" You're behaving like this is my first time to carry out this type of mission and that you don't trust me anymore"I said irritated.

Deep down am already pissed off with the way he's acting.

"I trust you, but all am saying is this, be extra careful" Boss replied bringing out his phone.

" Remember it's tonight, make sure to get everything ready"Boss said over the phone.

" Who's that"I asked.

"Our spy, you know" Boss replied with an evil smirk.

Oh. I know who he's talking about.

The vice president.

He's working for boss who made him who he is now.

"You don't have to bother about anything, you may go" Boss said and I nodded before leaving.

I better go get ready.

Boss already disclosed all the info I need, so consider the job done.

XAVIER'S POV

Ok, right now I feel like strangling this man I call my dad.

Must I attend his stupid party.

I don't even know what he is celebrating about but what can I do?

I am the president's son so i have to be present whether I like it or not.

I guess I have to keep up with greeting everybody in the party.

My dad already introduced me to all his friends and right now my hand arches from many handshakes.

I swear one more handshake, my hand will give up its ghost.

But here I am stressing my life, whereas that moron who called himself my dad is having a good time.

I bet he got some slut to spend the night with.

Arghhhhh!!

I hate this man with everything in me.

I hate the fact that he's my dad.

I just pray this party ends soon so I'll get my freaky butts out of here.

ALEXA'S POV

It's already 12:30am and I'm sure Mr President must be done with his useless party.

I was already on my ninja outfit ready to dash out as soon as possible

I was already at his estate.

Wasn't a problem knocking down all the guards outside.

I entered the estate and everywhere was as quite as a graveyard.

I made my way to his main building and saw like up to 10 guards positioned at the gate.

Jeez.

I quickly brought out my buzz dot and aimed directly on all of the guards one by one. Soon they all slumped to the floor.

I walked pass all of them and slut in the card the vice president gave me and the door opened.

I looked around and saw all the guards sleeping.

Wow, great job vice president.

I decided to follow through the door of Mr Presidents room. Slotting in another card, I entered his room.

I saw him lying on the bed with someone, who I know must be one of his sluts, because his wife is dead.

I headed to the bed and tapped him gently.

He opened his eyes sluggishly and I flashed him a smile.

He jerked off the bed when he saw me. He wanted to scream but I held him at gun point.

"Shhhh, I wouldn't do that if i were you" I said.

"Who are you and what do you want"He asked trembling.

An evil smirk formed on my lips seeing his reaction.

" What do you think I want?" I asked pulling a chair to myself and sat down.

" You want money?, Name the price....., I'll give it to you"he stammered, sweating profusely.

" So you love your life this much, but you ruin others" I scoffed but I heard a scream and turned. That cheap slut is awake so I better shut her up .

I brought out a throwing knife, aimed it on her neck and soon her head was separated from her body.

I faced the president who already froze to his spot staring at the lifeless body.

Terror filled him and he slumped to the floor.

"Now your turn. But wait, am actually confused, which weapon should I use to end your life"I asked.

" Please.. don't.. kill me"He pleaded.

" Well, my bad, i have to. I will miss you yunno"I said and thrusted a dagger into his belly, pushing it upward and downward while he scream in pain..............

ALEXA'S POV

The news of the presidents death is now all over America.

In one of the news, the presidents son was talking about bringing justice to his fathers death, not like I care anyway.

The fact still remains that he can't and will never trace me down because I am always one mile ahead of them.

I've been an assassin since I was 10 and now am 23.

13years isn't just thirteen days.

I arrived at our hide out and headed to Boss' room.

Boss was seated with a blowpipe (cigarette)in his mouth.

He spotted me and beckoned me to sit, which I complied.

"You know why I called you here, Alexa. I saw the way you handled your previous task, which is why I trust that you'll be able to carry out this mission I have for you even though it is a dangerous one"Boss said.

" Am ready for anything, boss. No mission is dangerous to me so far it involves killing, so name it"I replied.

" This time around, i want you to kill the presidents son, Xavier"Boss said.

Wow, amazing. First it was the president, now his son. I am going to wipe out a whole family.

"But, this mission is a little bit different from the other missions you've carried out"Boss added and that caught my attention.

" Different? What do you mean by that boss?" I asked.

"I want to send more like a spy and not an assassin. You're aware that the presidents son is an F. B. I agent dealing with your case"Boss said and I nodded.

" Good. So here is the mission;I want you to go live with him for a while, find out everything there is to know about him and about his task. Find out about everything going on in their headquarters, so you can know there every move. Get Xavier to trust you and make him sign all his fortune in your name. Then"FINISH HIM OFF" Boss said.

"But how am I supposed to do that" I asked, a little bit confused.

" You'll have to go there pretending to be an F. B. I agent. You don't have to worry, I've gotten everything prepared for you. All you have to do is go meet their commander in charge tomorrow"

"ARE YOU IN? "Boss asked.

Well this is kinda of different and dangerous, which is the more reason I would love to go.

"AM IN" I replied.

"Good" Boss said.

This is gonna be so much fun.

XAVIER'S POV

F.B.I HEADQUARTERS IN MIAMI, FLORIDA.

I already boarded my flight to Miami because the commander sent for me and right now I am already in his office.

"So how far with your investigation, agent Xavier" He asked.

"Am still working on it sir, even though I've not figured out anything meaningful yet"I replied with a sad sign.

" I understand agent Xavier, it's not an easy task but you know,we are counting on you"Commander said.

" Am aware of that"I replied.

" You've seen how dangerous she is agent,she already murdered your dad and we don't know whose next but anyways i called you here to inform you that the board appointed another agent to help you with this case"Commander said.

Phew! Finally!

They should have done that a long time ago but thank goodness their brains are finally working.

"You may come in now" Commander said looking towards the door.

The door flung open and a figure stepped in.

I turned to see who it was and i froze instantly.

A female!

My eyes almost plugged out of its socket when it landed on her.

She is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life.

She was putting on our uniform which fitted perfectly on her body bringing out her amazing curves.

Her hair was short and was kinda red or should I say brownish in colour.

Not to mention of her eyes,her deep blue eyes which can make you glued to your spot not wanting to look away.

"Meet agent Eva Alajandro, she's from our headquarters in Jacksonville"Commander said snapping me out from my dream land.

" Nice to meet you"She said stretching her hand for a shake which I gladly accepted.

"Nice to meet you too,I'm Xavier" I said still staring into her eyes.

I didn't even realize that I was still holding her hand until she let out a slight cough.

"Oh, sorry" I said.

"Both of you will be leaving together and you have not less than 3months to get to the bottom of this case. Do you have a problem, agent Xavier?"Commander asked.

" Of course not, commander,why will I have a problem?I meant who will when someone like her is given to you as a partner"I said.

"Control yourself fool"My sub conscience cautioned me.

" You know what i mean"I added feeling a bit embarrassed and my eyes landed in hers again.

Control those stupid eyes of yours moron.

ALEXA'S POV

I smirked, immediately I saw his reaction.

I love the effect I am having on him already.

I guess getting him to trust me won't be that hard.

But I got to admit,this guy is damn handsome.

With the the way his top fitted perfectly in his body, bringing out his biceps and muscles, I bet any lady in my shoes will be drooling by now but too bad such things don't move me.

I can't and will never feel any form of attraction to any guy whatsoever because I don't have feelings.

Now let the fun begin.

All I have to do is;

"TO ACT, MAKE HIM TRUST ME, TRANSFER EVERYTHING HE HAVE TO ME, THEN FINISH HIM OFF"

XAVIER'S POV

We were already driving home, I mean my house here in Miami.

The drive was awkwardly silent.

I wasn't even concentrated because I was busy stealing glances from her.

Fuck, she's extremely beautiful.

But wait.

Why is she keeping a straight face, kinda like a frown?

Is she angry or what?

But even with a frown she still looks breathtaking.

"Watch out Xavier" She yelled and that was when I realized I was actually driving and I almost bumped into a truck.

"Can't you focus on the road while driving or are you planning on killing me" She asked,her face already red in anger.

" Sorry" I replied.

I tried focusing on the road but I still found myself turning to look at her again.

"That stare might end up leading your eyes to be plucked out"She said, her eyes focused on the road.

" I wasn't staring" I defended.

Ok, that's a lie because I could feel my sub conscience laughing its ass out.

"Was that all you could say" My mind mocked me.

We arrived and she was the first to step into the house immediately I opened the door.

My eyes went down to her big .........

Okay, don't think about it.

I increased my pace and when I was about climbing the staircase, her voice stopped me.

"Maybe you aren't aware you have a guest and you don't know how to welcome one" She said.

"Meaning? "I asked.

" Meaning, you should take me to my room or do you expect me to sleep under one of your armpit"She replied rolling her eyes.

What!!

Is she talking to me that way, in my own house?.

"I was about doing that, if only you followed suit"I replied.

I took her to one of the rooms upstairs and was about leaving when she stopped me again.

Arrghhhh!

"Wait, do you expect me to sleep here" She asked and I could sense the disgust in her voice.

" Ermm.. yeah. Do you have a problem with the room? It's quite spacious and has everything you need, so what's wrong? "I asked.

" You don't expect me to live in a room that looks like a place where a thousand pink fairies just puked"She replied.

" Don't you love pink? "I asked.

" No, take me to a room that's painted gray or black, do you have one? "She asked.

" Yeah, just count 3 rooms from here, can I go now?"I asked but she just ignored and walked pass me.

Whose with me that this lady is annoying and damn fucking rude.

"But how can someone this beautiful be this rude" I asked no one in particular.

I was in the kitchen about preparing dinner for myself and I guess my guest.

Mind me, I'm an amazing chef.

I started hearing footsteps approaching.

Oh I guess my one in a million guest is already here (feel the sarcasm ).

"What's in for dinner?" She asked.

"Nothing"I replied.

" What!!!! Don't tell you expect me to go to bed hungry?" She glared.

"I never meant that. I'm just not sure of what to prepare, I mean what you'll like to eat" I tried explaining.

"Get you legs out of that kitchen" She commanded and i stared at her in shock.

I can't believe she's commanding me,in my own house.

"And who are you to comma........" I wasn't even done with my statement when she sent me a glare.

Not just a glare, a deadly one, enough to make you slump to the ground in fear.

I swear if eyes were guns, she must have already murdered me.

I made way for her not wanting to argue.

I was sitting at the dinning when I started perceiving an amazing aroma which got my stomach grumbling.

And right now, I could hear my stomach begging me to get him out so he could do justice to that aroma.

She placed a bowel of hmmmmm macaroni in front of me and started digging in.

I gave her a "what of my food" look.

"What?" She asked with a mouth full.

"Ermm... Looks like you've forgotten we're actually 2 in this house" I replied but she just hissed.

" There are macaroni remaining, you can go serve yourself some if ya' hungry "she said.

I just stood there with my lips parted, staring at her in shock.

Jeez. How can someone be this rude

"You're so.... you know what am just gonna shut up and go serve myself dinner, before I starve to death" I replied

" Better "she muttered.

Someone should tell me, am I actually living with an F. B. I partner or am I living with an annoying, rude but beautiful and breathtaking witch............... ......

NEXT MORNING

ALEXA'S POV ( EVA)

I woked up and after taking my bath and eating my breakfast, i decided to go talk to Xavier.

You know as his new partner, I have to act like I'm interested in the case he's handling.

I knocked on his door, twice but no reply.

Without waisting much time, I twisted the door handle and it opened.

I entered his room but didn't see him.

I was already getting annoyed.

Where the heck is this stupid guy?.

I left his room and headed downstairs.

"Looking for me?" Xavier asked and I sent him a deadly glare.

"Jeez, calm down and quite giving me those creepy glares" He said.

"I want you to tell me how far you've gone in this case"I said going straight to the point while trying to calm myself down.

"Follow me" He replied.

"Don't tell me that" I snapped at him.

I hate when someone tells me to follow him/her.

It makes me feel like I am been controlled and i hate being controlled or commanded.

"Ok, please follow me" He sassed with an eye roll and I trailed behind him.

After passing through so many rooms, we got to the final room .

Not actually a room cause i don't see any door, just a wall.

Xavier pushed something on the wall and it opened.

We entered and stood in front of another door

A green light from the door scanned one of his eyes.

"Recognized" A voice said before the door opened.

Stepping inside, I was wowed.

Different gadgets and weapons each arranged and packed.

If I lay my hands on all this weapons, I'm gonna be a blast.

We walked up to yet another door and after placing his hand on the wall, which scanned him, the door opened.

If I say this place is amazing, it's definitely an understatement.

Different types of computer and devices are all laying around.

Now this is how an agent secret room should be.

"This is my secret room" He said smiling.

"I'm aware of that, I'm not a dummy like you"I scoffed and his smile turned into a frown.

" So what have you figured out about this assassin?" I asked.

"Nothing much, just that putting together all her recent killing, i think her main targets are influential people"

" Starting from Mr Alexandro down to my dad"He said typing something into the computer and all the pictures of the people I've murdered so far appeared on the monitor.

"So what's your conclusion then?" I asked.

"Her next target will be someone influential and judging from all this, I think her main target will be Mr Lucas, the owner of Castillo de San Marco national park"He replied and my heart skipped.

How did he figure that out?

Mr Lucas is surely my next target but how did he know?

"What made you say that?" I asked.

"Because today is his grand opening and I think he will be killed there"He answered.

Wow, he is smart, I must admit.

" So what are you planning on doing?"

"Well, I'm thinking of calling Mr Lucas and telling him to cancel the opening"He replied.

Seriously?

" I don't think that's a good idea because whether the opening is cancelled or not, that won't stop the assassin from carrying out her job, instead it will make it easier for her"I said.

" So what are saying we should do then?"Xavier asked.

" I think we should beat her at her own game. Instead of cancelling the opening, let's wait for her there in disguise. We'll attend the opening and make sure Mr Lucas is ok, and at the same time capture our enemy"I suggested.

" That's an amazing idea"Xavier replied.

"We'll need back up for that, yunno" I added.

"Don't worry I've got that covered"He replied.

" When is the opening?"I asked.

Not like I'm not aware but you know, I have to act.

"By 02:00pm" He replied.

XAVIER POV

AT EXACTLY 02:00PM

We were already at the opening in disguise.

I was disguised as a clown while Eva, as a waitress.

The people I called for back up were positioned everywhere.

The instruction I gave them was to check everyone coming in and to report to us if they suspect anything.

I activated my voice transmitter.

"Eva, can you here me?" I asked

"Yes, I can" she replied.

"Okay, suspect anything?" I asked

"Not really, you?" She said

"Same here" I replied

" Make sure to inform me if you suspect anything, gotta go now" I added.

Everything was going on smoothly.

Mr. Lucas gave his opening remark and the park was finally opened.

I was still on guard in case anything happens.

I met up with Eva on the other side.

"Anything" I asked and she nodded.

"Nope, seems everything is okay" she replied.

"Year I think she haven't arrived yet" I said but then one of my men approached.

"Sir, something has gone wrong, you need to follow me" he said.

I looked at Eva and she did the same thing.

" Let's go "Eva said and we followed him.

We stopped when he stopped.

"What happe....... " I couldn't even finish because I was dumbstruck by what I saw.

Mr. Lucas and all his friends were all lying on the floor, blood coming out from their mouth. They resemble zombies because main looking at them , you'll think all their blood have been drained from their body and their skins were already pilling off.

"How did this happen" Eva asked in shock.

I was still trying to calculate everything.

How did this happen? When? By who?.

As far as I remember, my men made sure to cross check everyone entering the park, so how did she sneak in without anyone suspecting a thing?................

Me and Eva headed to the laboratory and when I say laboratory I meant where dead bodies are examined.

We've already sent Mr. Lucas and his friends body over there to figure out what killed them.

Immediately we stepped in, Jasper a friend of mine approached with a broad smile.

He's a lab toxicologist and he deals more on dead bodies.

Right now he's on Mr. Lucas case.

"Welcome agent Xavier" he greeted which I returned and we headed to the lab room.

"So, did you figure out killed them" I asked staring at Mr Lucas dead body .

"Well I was able to figure out that he was killed by a poison, because while examining him, he inner body was burnt and only a poison could do that "Jasper replied.

" And what poison is that? "Eva asked.

"Ricin poison, from a plant called ricinus communis, right here "Jasper said pointing to the picture displayed on the monitor.

"It's the top most dangerous poison, but it was banned years ago" Jasper added.

" Then if it was banned, how was the assassin able to get a hold on it? "I asked.

" Because someone here in Miami sells it "Jasper replied

" Who? "I asked and Jasper pointed to the monitor.

" Austin Noah, he lives in calle oche" I read out

"Exactly?" Jasper said.

" Ok, thanks for the info, Eva and I have to go now"I replied, giving him a handshake.

" Let's go Eva" I said and she nodded.

ALEXA'S POV (EVA)

Fuck! I have to do something or else my cover will be blown.

If Xavier meets Austin, I'm sure he's gonna spill out the truth.

I quickly tested everything to Boss and soon a message popped in.

"Don't worry, I've sent Veera to deal with him"

I heaved out a sign of relief.

We arrived at Austin's house.

"Ok, you'll stay here, while I'll go check through the back door "Xavier said bringing out his gun.

" Got it" I replied, bringing out my own gun.

I was still at the front door, trying to peep through the window, hoping maybe to see Austin's dead body when Xavier called me.

I rushed to the back door and saw him already inside.

Wait how did he get in..... oh he broke the door.

Next to him was Austin's lifeless body lying on the floor.

"He's dead" Xavier said feeling his pulse.

"I think she got him before we did" I replied trying hard to stop myself from smirking.

" Fuck! Once again she won" Xavier cursed.

"I think you should call the team to come clear everything and make sure to keep these poisons in a safe hand" I said heading outside.

Wow, great Veera, great job.........
