Chapter one

Alicia's pov

"Please don't hurt me am sorry i didn't send Marcus the package your wife said I should wash some clothes for her am sorry."Little Alicia cried

"You are nothing but a curse you killed your parents and nobody wants you."Mr Nicholas her foster dad said

"Please....I will never do it again."Alicia begged even when she knows her begging won't change anything

"Am going to beat you then you are going to do my biddings."He said laughing

"No please not that again......"I cried hard nobody to save me

"You are weak and can't do anything about it you better get dressed and meet Marcus in his room and you better strip well so that he can't give us some money if not you no the consequences." He said leaving the room

"Noooo...!!!."I shouted waking up

It was a nightmare , i have been having nightmares since i was twelve when my parents died .

I now live with my uncle as a maid in my own family's house his daughter treats me worse than her father.

"Hey wake up you you need to follow me somewhere."Camille my cousin bangs on my door making me stop thinking

I live in a small room at the back of the building , it's the servants room but my uncle fired them so that i would do all the work alone.

I didn't even bother to answer her i know she must have left immediately she delivered her message .

I quickly stand up from the bed and run to the bathroom I don't want any problems with Camille this morning.

I saw her kissing the driver and i clear my throat to notify them of my presence.

She just glare at me and hissed entering the car without saying a word.

"On no circumstance must anybody find out that we are related if not am going to kill you."She said putting her air pods in her ears

She always say this whenever go out together .

After fifteen minutes we arrived at a big mall, she likes shopping for expensive things she is just like her father its a shame her mother died during childbirth.

"Stop mopping around let's go."Camille says eyeing Alicia

"Am sorry ma'am."I said she said i should never call her by her name and I should refer to her as ma'am.

"Better i like it when you are obedient not trying to fight a lost battle."She smirks walking inside one of the stores

She was making a call with her best friend Aubrey I tried not to eavesdrop .

"Aubrey , am going to make sure he screams my name."Camille says giggling

I couldn't hear what the other person said but judging from her reactions am sure the person wasn't in support.

"You are just boring I regret calling you , am going to talk to someone better bye."She said hanging up

"Is everything okay."I asked

"No nothing is okay my best friend just ditched me and also you should mind your fucking business ."Camille said shouting at me

"Am sorry."I said bowing my head

"You better be."She said walking off

Can this day just end already, i hate my life am really a curse just like Nicholas said.

After shopping with Camille i went home alone with all the bags and she went somewhere with the driver .

When I reached her room i was tempted to sleep on the bed but i have many chores to do.

"My room needs to be in a new shape by the time am home and my clothes are dirty wash them then my red purse is missing find it before i get back home."Camile told me before driving off with her driver

I just wish to be free from this people but where am I going to go, the two last places i was didn't end well and am sure staying here is my best option for now.

I was so tired after doing the chores and my uncle asked me to make him chicken salad.

I was making the meal when someone entered the kitchen .

"I asked you to make me spaghetti and meatballs not chicken salad ."Uncle charlie shouted at me hitting me with a plate

The plate landed on my back making me shout in pain, this isn't the first time he is acting this way am sure he is drunk.

"You have gone mute, you always have something to say why don't you talk back at me."He added slapping me

"Uncle why do you have to be this mean to me am your fucking niece your brothers child you can't keep treating me like this."I yelled at him

"You are not my brothers child am sure your mother did it to trap my brother , and you are no important to me just my daughters maid."He shouted at me and throwing punches at me

After beating me to his heart content he left me in the kitchen i managed to drag myself out of the mansion to my room.

Why do my life have to be like this , why would my parents die and leave me in this wicked world .

I remember when my parents were alive i always prayed to have a baby brother or sister, my friends always tell me that if I had a sibling my parents won't love me again but I didn't care.

On my tenth year birthday my dad gave me a gold bracelet that is the only valuable possession I own.

Thinking back makes me hate life my parents death is still a mystery my parents lawyer stopped looking into the case after i moved in with my uncle.

"Mom, dad if you guys can hear or see me i don't know what else to do."Alicia said holding back the tears

I don't want to be the weak and submissive Alicia Camille and uncle charlie knows but i can't am week just like Nicholas said .

Chapter Two

Drew's pov

I woke up to the sound of the shower in my bathroom, it was then I remembered that Vanessa was here last night.

Vanessa has been my friend since college she's a model , She likes me but i told her I don't do relationship so we are fuck mate with no strings attached and she really knows how to take care of a man in bed.

"I see you have woken up."Vanessa said walking out of the bathroom naked swaying her hips.

"Are you trying to tempt me now because it's working."I said looking at her

"Maybe."She said and that was my how we ended up in the bed again.

I got a call making me leave Vanessa, she knows her way around the place.

I bought this penthouse for her and i come here whenever i need her.

I quickly showered my secretary said that somebody stole from one of my company and am going to London to settle it.

My main company is in London but i don't like staying there because of my parents especially my mom ,she's always trying to hook me up with a girl so that i can get married and give her grandchildren but that isn't going to happen.

I called my pilot to prepare the jet for take off .

The jet was ready before i arrived ,Vanessa has been calling me since.

"Hello Vanessa what did i say about calling me."I said trying to hold myself from shouting at her

"Am sorry but i woke up and you where gone .."She said

"I left for London would be there for a week or so ."I said

"Why didn't you tell me I would have followed you and besides have always wanted to see your parents."She said

Now i know where this conversation is heading to .

"Vanessa you better not come to London am warning you and keep my parents out of this we are not In any kind of relationship, we give each other pleasure and that's all."I said hanging up that girl is really getting on my nerves

We arrived London at night so i just called my best friend Dan , he owns one of the biggest night club in town.

"Hello Dan am in London so can you send me the package now same location."I said

After my secretary told me the news i contacted Dan to help me track the son of a bitch that stole from me .

Dan has sources and he helps me when i need it.

"Shill man you just came back and you need to come over to the club and unwind ."He said

"I think I would pass on this one, am really tired."Drew said

"Are you sure ,the stuff is going to get to you tomorrow."Dan said hanging up that has been his character he hates it when you hang up on him

Typical Dan.

"Hello Bella send me the files and also don't inform anyone that am back ."I said hanging up

Now I have to visit my parents am sure they already know that am back , that pilot needs some advice if not am going to blow his heads out.

"Adam can you inform my parents that I would be joining them for dinner ."

"Yes sir."He said

Adam is the family butler he may be old but he knows his work and does it well.

I arrived at my parents mansion , the place hasn't changed my mom loves flowers so they is a beautiful flower garden at the back of the house.

My dad was one of the best architect he always wanted me to follow his footstep but i never liked architecture.

My dad designed the building like a castle there's a waterfall in the middle of building and it has a lake.

"Oh my son am so happy you came home have missed you even your dad and am sure you have some good news for us this time."She said Hugging me tight

This is the reason i don't come back home, I looked at my dad to help me out.

"I told you not to get your hopes high now see he didn't bring any girl like the other time."My dad said trying to make mom leave me

"Mom i would get a wife soon am just busy now."I said

"That's why i asked you to let me find s suitable wife for you."She said

"Susan let the boy breath he just came back this discussion is not happening at the door."My dad said going inside

"You are the one spoiling him , this discussion isn't over son."My mom said going inside

Phew..

"Sir welcome back how was your flight ."Adams said

"At least someone cares about me."I said sighing

"You know we all care about you especially your momma ."He said

Adam is old but i see him like an older brother he knows what to say and what to say at the right time.

"You better go inside before your momma starts another episode ."Adam said

"Okay ."Drew said

Dinner was great my mom is one of the best cooks i know and i missed her cooking .

"Mom we talked about opening a restaurant the other time ."I tried saying but she cut me off

"I don't want a restaurant ."She said

Am not falling for her trap so i better change the topic.

"Mom i think i start going now."I said standing up

"You are not staying over this night."She said

"No your complaining isn't helping me ."I said as a matter of fact

"So if i don't complain you would stay ."She said

"Yes."I said making her smile

"okay but in exchange you have to follow me for shopping tomorrow."She said

"But mom i have an important meeting to attend tomorrow ."I said

" That's why you need to get married so i can stop asking you to accompany me shopping."She said

"Mom am going to get married soon so that you can get off my neck."I said sighing

Chapter three

Alicia's POV

Yesterday i stayed up in my room i didn't care if Camile or my uncle would get mad.

Camile came back later at night but she was crying and throwing and breaking things , i guess her date didn't go as planned.

I need to make breakfast and then go for grocery shopping .

I finished making breakfast and served my uncle and then took Camille's food to her room i know she won't come down for breakfast.

"Camille can you please open the door am with your breakfast ."I said knocking on the door

"Leave me alone am not hungry."She shouted back

"Your father said i should make sure you eat everything out of this plate unless he's going to freeze your account."I said this trick always works on her

She opens the door and walks back to her bed, she has bruises all over her face and her arms .

"What happened to you."I found my self asking her

"Mind your business , you are nothing but my maid so don't ask me anything."She said eyeing me

"I know am your maid but if you don't tell me what happened , what if you die of internal bleeding or something worse you need to tell me i won't tell your dad."I said trying to make her talk she hates when i tell her she's going to die

"I didn't know he was married , his wife sent men after me and they beat me up."She said sniffing

"Am sorry about that, you have to be careful with men they lie alot so that they can get what they want."I told her

"Drop the food on the table and leave."She said

"Am not going your father told me to make sure you finish the food."I said

"You can eat the food am going somewhere to get this bruises out of my skin its irritating to look at and if my father look for me tell him i went shopping."She said going to the bathroom

"I don't want you here when I come back."She added

I just carried the tray to the kitchen to eat, I just pray today goes smoothly .

I went to my uncles room to take the credit card for grocery shopping.

Drew's POV

Am going to make that bastard that stole from me beg for death, nobody messes with me and goes away Scot free.

I have my ways of punishing people that offend me and after am done with them i hand them over to the police.

Dan has been tracking down the person since i asked him to , the man did a good job but what he did wrong was using the company's account to send out the money to his account .

Today Dan was bringing me the profile of the man that stole my money and am going to make him enjoy it for today then he is mine to deal with.

"Sir Mr Santiago said to tell you that he is at the base ."My secretary said

"Okay handle everything till am back and if anybody comes looking for me tell them am not in the office even my mom."I said walking out

The base is an underground office where me and Dan meet to handle those people that crosses my path in the bad way.

"Hey man."I said making my presence known

"Thanks for the amazing welcome party ."Dan said sarcasm in his voice

Dan likes partying that's why he opened a night club.

"So where's the profile."

"Here it is and you are going to be surprised."Dan said

The person that stole from me was no other person but Charles Richie my Fathers partner .

"He doesn't work here how then how come he stole from the company."I asked Dan confused

"Well according to my research his company is facing financial crisis and he took a loan from some loan sharks and they are threatening his life ."Dan said

"How did he get inside my company."Drew asked

"He managed to secure a position in the financial department and the rest is history."Dan said

"How come am just finding out that charlie Richie has been working in my company for the past five months."Drew said

"Maybe because you don't see coming to London important , i think you need to stay back for sometime a year won't be bad, the workers need good leadership."Dan said

"You know why i don't like staying back."Drew said sighing

"Then ship your parents to another country ."Dan said

"My mom would surely find her way back."Drew said

"Then get a bride thats going to make your mom stop pestering you , what of Vanessa."Dan said

"No way Vanessa is a slut she wants me because of my money and the fame."Drew said

"You are also a slut for being with a slut, you have to man up and do the right thing ."Dan said

"Now you i thought we were friends."

"I know but the truth have to be told i have a date tonight so see you when you have our sacrifice."Dan said leaving Drew all by himself to think

Charlie's POV

How did i make this mistake, I didn't know that Drew is going to get notified and now i just have to pray he doesn't no I did it.

Maybe i need to leave the country then call for Camile later , I don't care if Alicia becomes the sacrifice.

I hated my brother when he was alive and am glad he's dead it's just a shame he willed everything including the company to his daughter making me the acting manager till shes ready to take over.

I threatened the lawyer and paid him to hide the will and make a fake one making me the owner of the whole wealth.

Alicia is a very intelligent child even my daughter can't beat it even in beauty, If i let her take over am going to regret it.
