Chapter 1 Goodbye My Love chapter 1

Please take my husband, ma'am!

"Mila, where's the breakfast, why isn't there anything yet? Didn't you cook? Why, am I hungry?" asked Mbak Wina.

She asked while I was washing dishes in the sink. Mbak Wina is my husband's sister-in-law, who, since her husband died of a heart attack, has asked to live with me. Actually, it's okay for her to live in my house, if only she realized that she's hitching a ride here.

But what is this? She treats me like her maid. Mbak Wina always asked for this and that, and I had to oblige her. Mas Reno was never sensitive to me either. Whenever I confide in him about his sister-in-law's rigidity, he lectures me on this and that, which makes me sick to hear.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. I'm not your maid, so if you want breakfast or anything else, please cook and make it yourself."

"Why are you doing that? I'm a guest in this house, how come I have to do everything myself? What are you doing as the owner of the house, how could you let your guests starve?" she asked again.

"Yes, Ms. Wina, you are indeed a guest here. But you are a shameless guest," I said again.

I said this as I walked away from her. I was too lazy to argue with her over this.

"Mila, watch out for you. You'll see, I'll tell Reno and Mom if you treat me badly," she threatened.

I stopped when she said that. She always said the same thing if I didn't respond to her. Mas Reno and my mother-in-law had always been her shield, so that I would comply with her wishes. I now turned around and approached her.

"What, Ma'am, can you repeat it again? I didn't hear it before," I asked.

"You tul*, Mila. I told you that if you don't make breakfast for me. I'll tell Mom and Reno that you treated me badly," Mbak Wina shouted, repeating her words.

She obeyed my command and repeated her words again, even though I was only pretending not to hear her.

"I see, Ma'am. So, should I say wow?" I asked, in a teasing tone.

"What do you mean, Mila? You're not afraid if I report them," asked Mbak Wina, and she asked me back.

"No, I'm not afraid. Here's the thing, Ma'am. You want to report Mom, or you want to report Mas Reno. I don't care," I snapped.

After saying that, I went straight back out, leaving Mbak Wina stunned. Maybe she didn't expect what I just said. Because usually I would melt and obey her orders if I heard her threat, which was to tell my husband and in-laws.

But now I don't care, whether she reports me to anyone, I'm no longer afraid. My heart is now set, I will fight anyone who makes my life uncomfortable. I no longer want to be a babu, in my own house. I walked to my room, I sat on the sofa in my room, while playing with my cell phone.

"Mila, what are you doing? Why didn't you make breakfast for Mila?" asked Mas Reno.

"Yes, you're really mean, Mila. Vienna has lost her husband, you should be comforting her, not making her sad. What kind of brother are you, how can you really see your brother sad?" said Mrs. Risma, who is my mother-in-law.

My husband and in-laws defended Mbak Wina, who was my in-laws' favorite daughter-in-law. I, on the other hand, was considered a useless daughter-in-law and was always underestimated.

"Mom, Reno, it seems that Mila doesn't like it when I stay in this house for too long. That's why Mila did what she did," said Mbak Wina, with a pleading look on her face.

"If that's the case, why, Ma'am? Honestly, since you've been living in my house. My household has never been comfortable, there have always been arguments between me, Mas Reno and Mom. Every argument also started because of you, Ma'am. Realize, Ma'am. You were always the culprit. Just so you know, I'm lazy to deal with you, because you always think that I'm your slave," I said.

I expressed at length what was in my heart. Mbak Wina gawked when she heard what I had to say, let alone Mbak Wina, and my mother-in-law and husband's eyes immediately bulged when they heard what I had to say.

"Mom, Reno, you heard it yourself, didn't you, that Mila doesn't like me? So it's better for me to leave this house than to destroy Reno and Mila's household," said Mbak Wina, with a look of distress on her face.

"Mbak Wina, you don't need to go anywhere. The person who needs to leave this house is not you, Mbak. It's Mila," said Mas Reno.

Mas Reno's words surprised me, how could he even want to kick me out. Meanwhile, he was protecting the person who was always causing trouble. I didn't understand Mas Reno's way of thinking.

I glanced at Mbak Wina, furious that she was the one who had kicked me out of Suskikyn. However, the person being glanced at smiled wickedly at me. As if he wanted all of this, or it could be that this was his wish that he had planned.

Chapter 2 Goodbye My Love chapter 2

Chapter 2

"Good, Reno, you have to be firm with a rebellious wife like Mila. I also don't like having a daughter-in-law who doesn't obey like her. It can only make you angry," squeaked Mrs. Risma.

"Oh... so what this means is that you two don't like me, and prefer Mbak Wina? Is that right?" I asked.

I asked both Mrs. Risma and Mr. Reno in a stern manner. I wanted to know what they meant by saying that to me. Was it just to bully me, or did they really not want me in their lives anymore.

"If so, then what do you want, Mila? I prefer Vienna, who is my daughter-in-law, to you," Mrs. Risma explained, her words piercing my heart.

"Mom ... you can't talk like that, Mom. How could you choose me and let Mila go? She still has a husband, and is still your daughter-in-law? I should leave here, Mom, according to Mila's wishes. Because I also don't want to make a mess of Reno's household," said Mbak Wina.

She spoke so wisely, but I was sure she was only saying that because she was in the presence of my in-laws and husband. As usual, Mbak Wina was very good at using her tongue. She was like a venomous snake, ready to bite and spread her poison.

I say this not without reason. Because every time she spoke and glanced at me, she kept smiling wickedly at me. What did she mean by doing that? If it wasn't because she wanted to tease me. I'm sure that Mbak Wina was actually satisfied with the division between her in-laws and my husband. That's why she complained to her husband and in-laws.

"Look, Reno, what's wrong with this Wina? In my opinion, she already knows how to be a person. But why doesn't Mila like her? She always thinks that Wina is evil. I'm sure your wife isn't war*s, her heart is a bus*k full of jealousy and spite." Mrs. Risma again praised Mbak Wina's attitude, which she thought was wise.

"Yes, ma'am, I also don't understand what Mila's way of thinking is, how come she has such petty thoughts about Mbak Wina? She was really nice to Mila, she even wanted to defend her. But she's the one who doesn't know herself," said Mas Reno.

The words of my husband and in-laws really pierced my heart, making a bloodless wound inside. How could they even defend this two-faced woman over me, who was still a legitimate wife and daughter-in-law. They both openly defended Mbak Wina, just because they judged Mbak Wina's words, which were actually full of poison.

"Ma'am, Mas, if you really listen to Mbak Wina's words and don't want to hear what I say. So be it, you can take this Mbak Wina to live in my house because I don't want to accommodate her anymore! If you really want to, you can stay there too. It's okay if you don't come back here, that's even better," I said.

"You're kicking us out, Mila?" asked Reno incredulously.

"If so, so what, remember, Mas. This house is in my name and I pay the installments every month. So you shouldn't have kicked me out of my own house, you should have left. All this time I have always been silent and patient in the face of your actions, but sorry my patience also has its limits. If you don't want to obey my rules, then just leave all of you. Never again will you live in my house again," I said firmly.

Mas Reno's face turned pale when he heard my words. Maybe he didn't expect that I would say something like that. I had always kept quiet, but not because I was afraid. I just still respect them all, but this time I felt I had enough patience, so I rebelled.

Maybe they forgot that I'm a human being with a heart and feelings. I'm not a puppet, who moves when played by a puppeteer. So I can also fight back, if they all oppress me and do things that are not in accordance with my wishes.

Chapter 3 Goodbye My Love Chapter 3

Chapter 3

"Heh, Mila. You are so insolent, you have the nerve to kick out my son! Mila, you have to remember that even though you are the one who always pays the installments on this house, you are still married to Reno. So if you want to evict Reno, first share the marital property," Mrs. Risma pleaded.

"What mom said is right, Mila? If you want to kick Reno out of this house, you have to halve your property. You can't be a greedy woman, because everything you've earned is also because Reno had a hand in it," said Mbak Wina.

They both asked me to halve my property. They didn't want to leave empty-handed, because according to them Mas Reno was entitled to a share of the property from his marriage to me.

"Oh, so you're saying that I should divide my property with Mas Reno?" I asked again, looking at the two women's faces in turn.

"Do you really want to part with me, Mira?" asked Mas Reno back.

He asked for my answer about what I would choose. Mas Reno seemed to hesitate, when I brought up the issue of separation. In fact, from the beginning he himself said firmly that if he were to kick me out of this house, our household would automatically be dissolved. But after I agreed and would fulfill his wishes. Instead, she became weak and powerless.

"Mas, you don't want to twist the facts! Wasn't it you who kicked me out of this house in the first place? Even though you clearly know that this house is the result of my sweat. You also defended Mbak Wina more than me, even though I'm still your legal wife. You even preferred your ex-sister-in-law who lives here over me. You did all that to defend your ex-brother-in-law. So you had the heart to kick me out," I said at length, emphasizing every word.

"Mila, please forgive your mistake. Because you got carried away with your emotions. You're guilty, Mila. Actually, I never had the intention to part with you, Mila. Once again, I apologize, Mila. You won't do it again," said Reno, apologizing to me.

I don't know whether his apology was sincere or not. What is clear is that Mas Reno apologized and he said he regretted what he did.

"Reno, why are you apologizing anyway? Didn't you want to divorce this woman?" Mbak Wina asked.

"No, Ma'am, I will never divorce her. I was in a bad mood, Ma'am. That's why I said what I said," Mas Reno replied.

"Are you really sorry, or are you just pretending, Mas? If you just want to please me, you better leave. Because I don't like people who are two-faced," I said.

I'm actually not sure and don't believe anything that Mas Reno will say. I just wanted to test how he would answer.

"I'm really sorry, Mila. If you don't believe me and want proof from me, then I will prove it," Mas Reno said.

"So you're really sorry, Mas? Okay then, I really want to ask for proof, about the seriousness of your words just now. That's why I'm asking you to kick Mbak Wina out of here. Can you do it, Mas?" I asked.

Since Mas Reno gave me a choice, I expressed what was in my heart. I asked Mas Reno if he could throw Mbak Wina out, who had been our problem from the start, until the problem became this big.

I wondered whether or not he would be able to carry out my request. This was because he had been so protective of his former sister-in-law from the start. Honestly, I was also surprised by Mas Reno's attitude, why was he so concerned about Mbak Wina?

Even though they had both become ex-brothers-in-law, it made me feel suspicious. I wondered if their closeness was because there was a shrimp behind the stone. I had to investigate, so I could uncover all their secrets. That is, if they have any secrets, which they are hiding.

"Reno, please don't do everything Mila asks you to do. Because I'm confused, if you have to leave here, where will you live? You know yourself, that the house left by your brother Mas Roni has been taken by the bank because you can't afford the installments. You're also an orphan, so you have no one," pleaded Wina pleadingly. She asked for mercy, so she wouldn't be evicted.

"That's why, Mbak, if you want to be a person, you have to know yourself. If you're staying in someone's house, don't act like you own it. In the end, it's your loss, isn't it?" I admonished.

"Mas Reno, I don't want to know, if you still want to be with me, then you have to kick Mbak Wina out of this house! I don't care if she lives at Mom's house, or at your brother's house, it's up to you. The important thing is that I don't want to see her hanging around my house anymore," I pleaded again.

I asked Mas Reno to kick Mbak Wina out of my house. I wanted to know whether or not he had the courage to do so. Because all this time, he was the one who always protected Mbak Wina, even though I told him about Mbak Wina's attitude towards me.
