10 PM.

Starlight hotel.

Nicole Bush, a slender lady hurried into the hotel while applying her make up. She was very late for her friend's birthday party and she knew Camille would be so angry now.

She know she was supposed to have been here earlier, but since she was busy at work, she could only only came late.

Ding! ding!

A message alert sounded.

Nicole brought out her phone, it was a message from Camille.

[ Why haven't you arrived yet Cole, it's almost 11 o'clock. Don't tell me you aren't coming anymore?]

When Nicole saw this message, she was stunned for a moment. She smiled and thought his silly Camille was thinking she wouldn't come anymore.

Silly girl' Nicole cursed with a smile still on her face.

Ding! ding!

Another message immediately followed. It was a message from Hayden.

"Cole, don't tell you you aren't keeping your promise anymore... where the hell are you? Every one is waiting! Please hurry up. Best, Hayden."

Why couldn't they just allow her be for a while?

Music was already playing when she opened the door of the hotel. Just when she entered, she was welcomed with a scream coming from her friends.

She shivered as Hayden hurried to her. "You finally arrive Cole. Everyone thought she wouldn't come. Anyways, you look pretty tonight. Are you sure this is mainly for this birthday or you have other motive?" Hayden was saying while both of them walked to where the other sat.

"Other motive as how?" Nicole frowned.

"You know what's am talking about, don't pretended. Probably for your boyfriend."

"Don't be silly, I told you I don't have any boyfriend yet. Silly girl" Nicole said.

A cake was already placed on a table and the whole place was decorated beautifully. Camille was from a wealthy family so no doubt she was meant to spend a lot of money to celebrate her birthday.

A kiss was placed on Nicole's cheek from Camille.

"Happy birthday Cam. You are looking very pretty!" Nicole saId.

"Thanks Cole. You look pretty too." Nicole was saying.

"Now that you have arrived, let's began the party." Camille said and everyone cheered up.

Nicole wasn't used to this kind of party but she had no option seeing it was her best friends party.

"A glass of champagne for you!" Betty, a blonde haired lady gave Nicole a cup of drink.

Nicole took the drink and sipped from it, "It's an alcoholic drink. Sorry I can't take it."

"But why? Everyone is taking it, don't tell me you are going for fruit drink." Betty was saying.

Before Nicole could utter any more words, Betty dragged her arm and poured the drink into her mouth.

"That's my girl. Don't worry, after three to four cup, I am sure you will be good with it"

Betty walked away to join the other girls dancing.

Nicole wanted to sit down and watch the party, but Hayden arrived and gave her another cup of the alcoholic champagne.

"You know am not good at this." Nicole was saying.

"Shish and just drink. Don't make a mockery of yourself here. How can you drink fruit juice when ever other person is drinking the latest champagne. Don't worry you will be fine with this."

"But...."

"You can do this Cole. Just drink it."

Nicole finally gave up and drank the drink. The drink felt hot in her throat and tasteless.

Camille also came with her own cup of the alcoholic drink. "Cheers!" She said handing the drink to Nicole.

Knowing she could not refuse, Nicole pretended like she was very good at it, took the drink and drank it.

Camille was impressed and ordered for another cup of drink. It was brought by the waitress.

The drink was given to Nicole and she gulped it down in a go. Camille ran praises on her as she walked away.

Two minutes later, Nicole felt hot all over her body and her her sight felt blurry. She knew this was happening as a result of the drink she took.

Excusing herself, she hurriedly went into the ladies toilet in the hotel.

By then, the effect of the drink has taken over her. With her heart pounding and sweats all over her, Nicole was very scared.

She took her phone and tried to call either of yer friends to pick her up and take her home, but her vision was too blurry to see anything.

"Oh God what will I done now?" Nicole was afraid.

With the little strength in her, she managed to walk out.

She kept on staggering till she came to a room which was wide open and went in.

As she went in, she climbed into the bed in the room and slept off.

Moments later, a man came into the room totally drunk too.

His vision was also blurry and he could not see her face properly.

Noticing someone, Nicole staggered up.

"Who are you?" She asked but her vision was too blurry to see his face.

"Relax and I will treat you well." Was all the man could say as he grabbed her waist and began to kiss her passionately like his life depended on it.

The kiss was hard and soon Nicole reciprocated back, holding him more closer to and returning the kiss.

"Woman! You are the first to peng me!" Samuel Green said as he devoured her.

Taking off her clothes, he took his off and slept with her.

"Ahh!" Nicole screamed when he went into her, yet Samuel continue with his sexual pleasure and only left her after his seed has been planted in her.

Nicole felt dizzy after the sexual encounter and both of them lay them close to each other as they slept off.

The next morning when Nicole woke up, she saw Samuel Green lying next to her.

The red stain on the pristine sheet looked extremely eye catching. It described what had happened the night before.

Before Nicole could comprehend the situation, there was a knock on the door followed by a group of reporters that blocked the exit. They could not wait to publish the news of Samuel Green having spent the night with a mysterious woman.

The Green family were the most distinguished family in this city. Evidently, they had a literary reputation and were an aristocratic family.

Old master Green was an old fashioned man.

Samuel Green was immediately woken up by the noise from the group of reporters. Before the hotel workers could do anything, the reporters had gone into the hotel and started taking intimate photos of Samuel Green and Nicole.

It was so shocking to Samuel when he saw all that was going on, yet turning to his left, he recognized Nicole from the Bush family.

The Green and Bush family were good friend and because of that, he knew Nicole from childhood.

Although Nicole knew he was in love with Riley George, how could she have slept with him behind Riley's back.

Nicole too was shocked, how could the person she had a one night stand with turned out to be Samuel Green, her childhood friend?

Yes, he was the person she had loved since from childhood because he was always there for her, but when saw that he would not reciprocate back his feelings to her and only considered his self as her big brother, she hid her feelings from him.

But now, what a mess!

"Samuel, I can explain. I...." Nicole tried to talk but Samuel pushed her away from the bed and he ended up landing on the cold ground.

Even though the reporters were still present there, they continued to take photos and videos as the drama unfolded between Samuel and Nicole.

"I always considered you to be my younger sister Nicole, how could you betray my trust and took advantage of my helplessness knowing I was drunk? You could have done any other thing to me, yet you slept with me. How despicable and shameless of you. For what you have done, you are my enemy from now on." Samuel was boiling with rage as he yelled at her.

His cold attitude made the reporters to pause as they found sense something was not right.

Wait, wasn't this lady the childhood friend of Samuel and the daughter of the Bush family?

What a coincidence that they were pretending to be best friends in public, but was having intimate behind everyone's back.

"Wow, this is what we call friends with benefits. Who would have thought that Samuel from the respected Green's family will be sleeping with Nicole!" One of the reporter said laughing. This act of her made Samuel when more angry and felt like strangling Nicole.

"No it's not like that. I can explain. It's a mistake from the start, I...." Nicole was shut immediately.

"Keep your stories to yourself Nicole. You pretend to be pure, yet so dirty minded inside. I can't believe she is the same lady her father use to praise in public. Mr. Bush will be so disappointed at you. Hump! You are nothing but a shameless country side bumpkin." Another reporter said.

"Since Samuel Green is from a wealthy family, which lady would not want to lay in his bed? Nicole is no exception, moreover she is pretty and could live a luxurious life with Samuel."

"Such a shameless act of her."

The reporters continued criticizing them. When it became obvious that they planned not to leave, Samuel put on his clothes and struggled out of the hotel room.

The reporters left Nicole and rushed after him.

"How do you feel now that you have slept with your best friend Nicole?" The reporters threw questions as they rushed after Samuel.

"I thought you are dating Riley George, she must be so disappointed at you. She trusted you, but you broke her trust!" Another reporter said.

"Keep shut and get lost!" Samuel shouted as he went into his car and drove away.

Meanwhile, Nicole quickly put on her clothes and rushed out. At that time, everyone was focused on Samuel and did not notice when she left.

Only when she had gotten out of the hotel did she relax a bit. Now that the reporters had the evidence against her and Samuel, how would she clarify herself at home now?

"I wonder what dad must be thinking of me now!" She cursed, rubbing her head as she scampered home.

What transpired between her and Samuel was like a dream to Nicole. However, it was not a good dream.

Nicole was scared, nevertheless Nicole gathered up the courage to call Samuel.

" let me clarify things to him, only he can understand me." Nicole was saying as she dialed Samuel's number:

Without a surprise, her call got declined. This, she could only timidly send a text over to tell him that she had something to say and was hoping they could meet to discuss it.

When her call continue to be declined by Samuel, Nicole could only hurry back home. Hopefully, her family will believe her if no one else does.

Slap!

A resounding slap landed on Nicole Bush' face immediately she stepped inside the parlor of the Bush family which was her family.

Her dad did not even allow her to rest before pouncing on her.

This was her doom!

"You've really let me down. Our family has had a rough time out there for more than 10 years, and here you are sleeping with a man. That's very shameless of you!" Her father screamed.

"Dad I can explain. It was a mistake." Nicole tried to talk.

"Really a mistake? Is that the excuse you can think of? How can I be capable of having such a shameless daughter like you. You fox! I hated the day you were born." Her dad was very angry.

"Dad I..."

Clash! A glass cup was thrown at her head. It smacked and blood started dozing out from her head to her face.

Nicole tried to walk away to wash off the blood, but her father's scream made her to stop in her track.

"I will lull you if you move any inch. Stay where you are you shameless pig!"

Covering the part of her face that was aching, Nicole looked at her dad incredulously. "Dad, I am innocent."

How can you guys be so unreasonable?"

"Is that so? You are so innocent that you ended up in Samuel's bed. I always thought you considered him your best friend, how could you stop so low to sleep with him?"

That moment, the door of the parlor was pushed open.

Old master Green who was Samuel's father emerged in. He was putting on an angry expression.

Nicole's dad immediately rushed to old master Green, wanting to explain things but the old man pushed him aside she went to Nicole.

"How could you do this Cole, I trusted you and thought you and Samuel were good friends. I thought high of you, yet you disappointed me.."

Nicole felt very said. Old master Green had always been nice to her, and even though she knew she was not at fault, she was willing to take the blame now since everyone already called her all sort of name.

"It was my mistake dad, I...." Nicole was saying.

"In that case, you will marry Samuel to stop all this rumor." Old master said to which Nicole was shocked.

Excitement filled Nicole's body because she had always loved Samuel, but seeing the situation at which she was made to get married to him, she felt sad.

She was aware Samuel was in love with Riley George, yet how fab she get married to him?

"Sorry dad, but I can't get married to your son" Nicole thought it was not nice to become his wife, knowing he was In love with someone else.

"Shut up you scoundrel! Since you tangled in this sheet and ended up in his bed, she are already his wife. Old master Green, make the wedding preparations." Nicole's dad screamed.

Three days later, it was Samuel and Nicole's wedding.

Guests arrived at the wedding hall which was decorated beautifully and sat down. Samuel was filled with anger as he recalled two days ago the conversation he had with his dad.

Flashback:

Getting back home from the hotel, Samuel met his father already waiting for him in the parlor. He already knew this was going to happen.

"You are a disgrace to the Green family. How could you have done such a despicable thing. Did you forget which son you are, yet acting ignorant you slept with your childhood friend and now rumors are flying everywhere in the country of your stupid act. Despite dating Riley George, how could you do this? Now am regretting having you as my son." Old master Green was saying.

"The mistake is not from my side dad, it's all Nicole's doing. I was drunk so she took advantage of me. You have to believe me dad!" Samuel tried justifying himself, yet his father would not believe a single words from him:

"A thief will not agree to be a thief right? In that case to stop my reputation from being ruined, it's only best you make Nicole your wife."

A shock was written on Samuel's face.

"What? I can't dad!" He said .

"Why not? "

"I am in love with someone else which you know. You can't expect me to get married to Nicole." Samuel was saying.

"Then If that's the case, I will take back the CEO position from you as well as disown you from this family. It's either you get married to her, or choose Riley and lose everything. And don't think am joking because I already Informed my lawyers."

"Dad you can't do this to me. Tell me you are joking?" Samuel was too shock at the terms given to him.

" Is it a yes or no so I call my lawyer now? Old master Green brought out his phone and dialed his lawyer's number which happened to be their family's lawyer.

"Alright I will do it! I will get married to her!" Samuel said screaming so his dad wouldn't say anything to the lawyer, because doing that would be his doom'

"Good! Get prepared then. Three days from now, you will be getting married to her."

Nicole was brought into the alter. Wedding day was meant to be a lady's happiest day yet hers was a night made.

She was too scared to look at Samuel that she now her head while waking up to him. Only after they were to exchange kisses after their marital vows has been said did Samuel dragged her head up and forcefully kissed her lips.

After the kiss, Nicole felt blood coming out from her lips yet she could hear the pain in silence.

When all has been done, they were pronounced husband and wife.

Later, both she and Samuel went into the Green's family car abs drive to his house.

"Welcome miss Green, I hope you and young master Green will have a great married life." The maid that came to welcome Nicole in said.

Nicole could Fake a smile as she was showed to her room. Thank goddess she and Samuel won't be spending the night together and sharing one room otherwise how could she face him after what transpired.

When she had settled in and took her bath, wearing something nice. The door of her room was pushed open and Nicole perceived the smell of alcohol as Samuel emerged in.

Too scared of what he would do to her, Nicole tried to hide but the man was too quick that he grabbed her by the neck.
