My name is knox Anderson and I am 24 years old but the truth is my name or age doesn't matter, what really matters is that I can be whoever and whatever you want me to be with the right amount... "A girlfriend, partner, fiancee, wife, friend, date, guest, you name it " you want it, you have it.

yes I know what you and others are thinking cause I honestly know what it sounds like. I know it seems like am a strumpet but I am in no way a strumpet... I just help people to get rid of the pressure from society and to feel confident and happy plus there is no strings attached to what I do so don't judge me before you actually get to know me.

Let just say I am an affordable pretend girlfriend or whatever it is you want to anybody that needs me and for me, it's nothing but a good paying job. I just don't know how long I can be available for all this men or women hehehe, you might not know it but they are freaking much.

In the process of helping people, I get lonely too and I hope to have a boyfriend or partner but as we all know all the good guys are taken... But I seriously hope that in this journey I can find a man for myself because we all need a companion in this world to support us, help you unwind and keep moving on.

Standing in front of the mirror, looking at my new outfit for my date tonight. Well it's not really a date, it's a job. If you must know, I'm a girlfriend, partner, date and anything to anybody who the money... I'm not entirely money conscious, sometimes I do it for free.

It's pretty simple, I have a website called "GIRLFRIEND FOR HIRE" . You go on the site and book me for maybe a date or you might need a pretend girlfriend for a day or even a week for an event or to meet your family or for any other occasion. We meet up so we can discuss basic things that I need to know in order to fit into the role perfectly, it's that simple.

Right now I am preparing for a dinner date with Mr Kelvin Jones. Here is the thing, Kelvin is gay but he's family are not aware. Knowing he's family there is no way they will be okay with the fact he's gay and he's family are already pressuring him with the topic of settling down, honestly he's fine with that but not with a woman. And that's were I come, I need to pretend to be his girlfriend tonight and convince his family that we are in a relationship... He thinks that will buy him time and get them off his back. We are having dinner with them tonight at a fancy restaurant so I need to look the part as much as playing the part. I need to convince them so they can stop match making him with different girls.

I really need to put up a convincing show that we are very much in love to his family so I took time to learn a lot about him and his family. Things like favorite food, color, movie, music, he's siblings names and other important stuff.

I have done a lot of things like this, meetings, families, colleagues, business dinners, dates you name it and as such I am used to it and I don't feel tensed or nervous like I used to when I first started.

Back to my appearance in the mirror, I am wearing an elegant black dinner gown, a long sleeveless black gown with V-neck that shows a little bit of cleavage with a long slit from my mid thigh and I am matching it with a black clutch. The gown has some form of blinks in it, it's pretty cool. I have on a very simple makeup, mascara, blush and light pink lipstick and I let my hair down.

All in all I think I look pretty good and I ready for the night, I'm just waiting for Kelvin to pick me up. Some of my rules on my site is that there is no intimacy, I am not a strumpet and as such I don't have sex with my clients. The most I can do is a peck on the lips and even that is on very rare occasions when I really need to convince someone. Usually they are allowed to peck me anywhere else, we can hug and hold hands nothing more.

When I first started "GIRLFRIEND FOR HIRE" it was pretty easy and I had time to do personal things but as time goes by it became difficult, having to deal with so many clients. I never imagined that there were so many without a partner or even a friend to hang out with. With the more clients I had, I realized I couldn't meet up on my own. So I included my best friend Harley, we stay together and she's my business partner too. It's been better since then and even though I don't have time for myself, it totally worth it to see the smile on their faces knowing you just solved their problems.

You are looking fantastic Harley said when she walked into my room. Are you sure cause I think something is missing I said checking myself out through the mirror. Come on Knox nothing is missing, you are perfect and Kelvin is already here, you need to join him at the living room except you want to be late. Okay okay fine, I'm leaving now see you later boo I said blowing her a kiss while leaving my room.

Hey Kelvin, sorry I kept you waiting... I'm ready now, let go I said with a smile. Oh wow you look so amazing and so gorgeous he said as he stood up smiling at me. Thanks Kel, yea that's my nickname for him of course I have to make it realistic.

Are you nervous kel, you really need to relax and don't worry about anything, everything will go as planned I said noticing how he held the starring tightly while driving us to the restaurant we are meeting his parents. Yea I know, it's just that my parents can be very difficult and I am just worried that they might ask you something you don't know and discover we are not actually dating... Maybe we are not prepared enough, it's not too late to cancel and go back, we can do this another time when we are ready he said nervously.

Hey relax, don't worry I have got everything covered and we are doing it now I said as he pulled up in front of the restaurant. All you need to do is hold me and smile I said as he opened the car door for me and I looped my arm with his as we walked to the entrance. Let the game begin I said as we stepped into the beautiful and very classy restaurant, this is going to be a long night.

Knox's p.o.v:

I can already sight his family from here with their elegant outfit as well as their composure as they were situated at a table close to a window that has a nice garden View as we approached their table. The moment we got to the table I wore my best smile as they cast their accusing and scrutinizing gaze on me. Mom, dad meet Natasha my girlfriend... Babe meet my parents Kelvin said evenly as I outstretched my hands to them for a handshake with a grin, "nice to meet you ma'am, nice to meet you sir" I said respectively as they took my hand.

Kelvin then pulled out a chair for me to sit while his parents gaze were constantly on me. When I was sorted I noticed his mums mouth opened like she wanted to say something but she closed it again. So how long have you been with my son, Mr Jones asked? Six months and still counting sir, I answered evenly with a smile. Just as I finished answering the waiter walked and took our orders...No baby you can't have that, it's contains cheese and you are allergic to cheese, how about your best dish "zesty lamb chops with crushed kidney beans" I order. I see you know your man, Mrs Jones noted when the waiter left. That was the point I thought to myself as I smiled to her.

His parents continued asking me so many questions like where we met, what I do, how old i am, about my parents and where they are based, my siblings and many other questions. By the time the meals arrived, his parents have already warmed up to me and we were very chatty with each other, there was no trace of tension and they were both smiling from ear to ear as we ate. At the end of the dinner she was asking when next I will visit her so we can hang out and have girls time.

Oh my God Knox, you are seriously amazing and I am really happy and impressed with how you handled my parents and how the night turned out. Thanks so much, you are the best but we will be seeing each other pretty soon since my mum still wants to meet you. I know you are very busy but do you think you can hold a slot for me for next two weeks, Kelvin appreciated and asked just as he parked in front of my place. Yes Kelvin, I can hold a spot for you plus you don't have to thank me, I am glad I could help and it's my job plus I had a great time tonight. See you soon then I said as I stepped out of his car and entered my apartment.

I went straight to my room as I entered my house... I am so exhausted, I need to take my bath and change into something more comfy. After bathing and changing I came out to my room and met Harley on my bed smiling at me. So tell me, how was it she asked as I sat in front of my vanity. It was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. We need another slot for Kelvin in two weeks time, I have to meet up with his mum again I said as I plopped down beside Harley on the bed.

I'm glad everything went well as usual, you are honestly too good at this things. I think you need a challenging client with something new Harley said with a grin as she rolled over using her elbow as support while facing me. I will like to see that, any new clients I asked.

Yea sure, I have a business dinner tomorrow with a client and you are free till Sunday morning. You are going to church with a client she said as she rolled on her back looking up. Church? Why do I have to go to church and with a client, I have never followed a client to church before, I stated a little shocked. Well he said his parents are pastors and they are trying to match make him with a church member so he told them he has a girlfriend that is Godly and they asked him to bring her to church. I already printed the brief, you can go through all the details later and his contact number too. You can call and get to work tomorrow. Don't forget you need to get a very decent cloth for church she said as she got up and made her way out of my room.

I'm so exhausted but I need to go through the brief of the church client so I can be prepared. So his name is Paul and he has two siblings, Mary and Martha twins actually. His favorite song is million little miracle by elevation worship (great song). I can't deal with this right now too much information, I will have to continue tomorrow. Sometimes I wish I can avoid all this clients cause it can honestly be exhausting... I need a long break.

Morning Knox, Harley said shaking me and bouncing on my bed. Seriously gal you need to get up and let prepare, we have a lot to do today she said, while still shaking me. Come on let me sleep a little more I'm so tired. Knox get up we need to go shopping, you know I have a client for tonight and you need to get a church outfit for tomorrow. I'm sure you didn't finish with the brief last night Harley said while tugging the cover off my body. Okay fine, give me some minutes I will be ready soon but we have to have breakfast first I said to her while walking to the bathroom seeing that she was already dressed.
