Chapter 1 001

"Oh, my goodness! I can't believe it's two years already!" Sarah screamed excitedly, glancing at the wedding photo in her hand with her lips filled with a beam.

She kissed her husband in the photo and gently put it in the middle of the table. "You did this one, Sarah..." she whispered, clapping at the low-budget decoration she had just made with her annual savings.

It was her and her husband, Charles's second wedding anniversary, and because of their financial struggle, she wanted to celebrate it at their space. They canceled the first anniversary because her mother-in-law was admitted to the hospital, and Charles used the savings to settle the bills. She has been saving up since last year, so nothing would stop her.

She looked around the small room and joggled her head. "Perfect!" She raised her voice. "This is perfect!"

"Charles will love this!" She uttered. Her husband has been sullen lately, which she believed was because of their financial struggle, so she spent more than planned to impress and cheer him up.

"I should get set up before he returns. Today is a special day and I need to look good for my husband!"

She turned to the bathroom, and because of the excitement running through her at that moment, her soul controlled her feet-she increased her speed and ran into the bathroom.

-Minutes later-

After minutes of soaking herself in Bergamot oil water, Sarah took her bath with another flavored water and finally got out of the bathroom.

She rubbed her body with oil and put on a green gown which was the newest in her closet- she saved up for it a long time ago, but could only afford it last month when it was sold at the cheapest price.

She applied a lip gloss and turned around to the table, but ceased taking another step immediately as she remembered her best friend, Sandra, gifted her some makeup tools.

She veered around and paced to the wardrobe. She took out the kit. "Which one, first?" She wondered, taking the face powder.

She applied a light powder on her face and used the eye pencil on her lash. "Perfect!" She uttered. "And what's next?"

She applied a red lipstick to her lower lip and rubbed her lips together until the lipstick spread.

She looked at herself in the mirror and rubbed her hands together as she jumped up. "You're hot, Sarah. Charles made the right choice," she admired herself. It's been a long time since she last looked at herself in the mirror and she has almost forgotten how endowed she was before the marriage.

She was never a lazy person, but the marriage made her so busy that she had no time for herself and her days rotated between doing five to seven part-time jobs so she would raise enough money to assist her husband in paying his mother's hospital bills and her sister's school fees.

"What more can a man wish for?"

Sarah fanned her face with her right hand, feeling the heat already- she wore makeup on her wedding day so her face couldn't get used to it, but she wouldn't clean it as she was ready to do anything to look admirable.

She heard a knock on the door and glanced. "He is back..."

"Coming, sweetheart."

She quickly pushed the kit aside and had another glance at herself through the mirror before she walked to the door in a long stride with her heel gently hitting the ground.

She stealthily opened it so Charles wouldn't see the room until he entered, but Charles seized it and entered.

Sarah sighed. She closed the door and turned around, but before she could open her mouth to say a word, Charles glanced backward at her with a furrowed face and threw a question.

"What are you celebrating?"

"Hun!" She exclaimed with her eyes widened.

"I'm asking why you decorated the room." He made himself clear.

Sarah still couldn't close her eyes. "Charles, have you forgotten what today is?" She asked in disbelief. "Today's our-"

"Wedding anniversary." He cut her off.

Sarah sighed in relief, her hand on her chest. "You scared me already." She uttered.

"Happy anniversary to us." She opened her arms and moved closer to him, but he pushed her back.

He looked into her eyes and snickered. "Is this day worth celebrating?"

His question felt like a stone on her chest and her eyebrows raised.

"What do you mean, dear?" She questioned, her furrowed face matching her confused tone.

"What are you talking about, Charles?" She took a step closer, and he pushed her back again.

"Haha." Sarah was amazed.

"You know what I'm talking about. There are always bills to pay. With my mom's medication and my sister's tuition fees, I'm working hard to provide for this family. You know my condition and struggles, and all you could think of in this situation is a wedding anniversary?" Charles challenged. "You're inconsiderate and only care about yourself and what will make you feel happy."

"This isn't part of the money from the corporate account. This is my money. I've been saving for this day since last year." She talked in a persuasive tone.

Charles chuckled. "Okay, but what will it cost to add it to the fund for family affairs? You're married, yet you claim personal money? Is the wedding anniversary supposed to be your priority or my family's?"

"I care about your family, but I also deserve happiness, Charles. I worked harder and saved up for this." Sarah protested.

Charles scoffed and nodded. "Oh, you aren't working hard because of my family? You're working hard because of yourself, yet you make your friends and mine see you as my angel. They see you as the perfect woman anyone can wish for."

"And am I not?" Sarah threw a question.

"Not after I know about your true intention, Sarah. You're talking back at me because of the little you contribute to assist me?" Charles uttered.

"What?!" Sarah frowned her face at his last line. She intended to apologize, but she had to clarify something. "Don't you think you should reverse that statement? I'm not contributing a little, I contribute a lot even more than you. It's even safe if I claim I bear all this family's responsibilities,"

"Have you forgotten? I have over five part-time jobs while yours is one. Compare my income with yours. Will you still call it a little? What you earn in a month is the same as mine in two weeks. And have you forgotten we canceled the first one just because of your mother?"

"And why can't you do that again? Is it because you no longer care about my mom?" Charles raised his voice at her.

"I do, Charles. I care so much about your mother, but this will also give me happiness," she voiced out. She pointed to the table with her eyes in contact with him as she further explained. "This doesn't cost much. Sandra got most of them. I added just a negligible amount of money because I want you to be happy. You've been sullen lately and I want to cheer you up."

"Okay, but what about the dress? It's a new one. Did Sandra give it to you as well?" He queried.

"I got this, but at the cheapest price. Besides, Charles, this is the only dress I got for myself in a long time and I changed your sister's wardrobe when she got admission to college? Didn't I do that to make you happy?" She expressed. "This is a special day to us and I believe it is worth it."

"To you, it may, but to me, it's just a waste of funds we don't have. No matter how cheap this dress is, it's enough to get one of mom's pills." Charles proceeded with his hurtful statement.

Sarah's mind was already boiling in anger, and the urge to yell filled her heart already, but knowing it wouldn't help, she discharged a deep breath to calm herself- it was a special day so she didn't want an argument or anything to ruin it. "My mistake, I accept the blame and I'm sorry," she agreed.

She filled her lips with a beam and placed her right hand on his shoulder and the left on his chest. "Don't worry, dear, I'll make up for what I spent. Celebration first and we'll discuss the rest later,"

She took her hands off him and licked her lips as she paced to the table while Charles turned his neck and escorted her with his eyes. "I prepared your favorite," she winked at him, opening the plates. "Pounded yam with Isapa and Egusi. I added a lot of smoked fish just like you always wanted it."

"Sarah." Charles called and cast his face downward.

"What's it? Are you feeling guilty already?" She asked. "Don't worry, darling. It's just a matter of time. I believe everything will be fine."

"It's not even a matter of time anymore. Everything is fine already, but there's a hindrance." Charles let out.

"What's that thing?" Sarah inquired as she took down a plate from the other, ready to serve the meal. "Charles, whatever it is we have to discuss, can't it wait until after the meal?"

Charles bobbed his head. "No, it can't. I've been postponing it for a while and now is the right time for it," he said. He went silent for a minute and exhaled deeply to summon his gut and talk. "Let's get a divorce."

His words rang loudly in her head, but all that came into her mind was bursting into a peal of laughter. She stopped laughing and shook her finger. "That's an expensive joke and I don't welcome it."

"It's not a joke..." Charles declared.

His response hit her differently that the plate fell from her hand and she stared at him.

"What?!"

Charles nodded. "Yes, you heard right," he spoke confidently. "This marriage was against my will from the start. You forced me and I agreed because I thought you would be useful, which you were, but you aren't enough for me anymore, so it's better I release you and welcome in a new person,"

Sarah fixed her eyes on his lips and the expression on Charles's face was the one she never witnessed before, so she couldn't say a word and her lips quivered in bewilderment.

"Truth be said, you tried for me, and I already repaid you with a marriage you desperately wanted. Your help is no longer sufficient, so I think we should put an end to this," Charles poured out.

Sarah lost her mind and couldn't hold herself from laughing louder. "I think I get this already. It's not a joke. You've joined acting and are rehearsing now, right?"

"No, this isn't a rehearsal, but a reality which will be better the sooner you accept it," Charles proclaimed. "Sarah, I've found the perfect lady for my condition. The person I've always wanted, but couldn't get because of you,"

"Rebecca is back, and she is ready to give a second chance." Charles disclosed.

Her eyes widened at his revelation. "Rebecca?!" She repeated, surprised.

Charles nodded. "Yes. It's her. The same Rebecca."

"What?!"

Chapter 2 002

"Yes, Sarah. It's still the same Rebecca. You're the reason I gave up on her then and won't repeat the same mistake. I'll divorce you and make sure she becomes mine at all costs." Charles declared.

Sarah snickered and stormed to Charles's front. "How could you do this to me, Charles?" She uttered and did the only thing that came to her mind at that moment- slapped him.

Charles held his hurt cheek in his hand. "What are you doing?!" He asked with his eyeballs turning red because of the pain he was feeling in his cheek.

"I slapped you, Charles, and I won't hesitate to repeat it. It's resetting your brain that is blocked by greed and you're misbehaving," she explained. She exhaled deeply and grabbed him by the collar. "Now Charles, look at me and repeat what you said earlier. Tell me it's the same Rebecca."

Charles flung her hand away. He pushed her backward and looked directly into her eyes. "Yes, it's her. Miller Rebecca."

Sarah scoffed weakly and ground her teeth. "You're shameless!" She screamed and her hand followed her heart's command to slap him again. "You must have lost your mind, Charles."

"What are you doing?!"

A familiar voice came from the entrance and raised her gaze to see Rebecca.

Sarah chuckled. "You even dare follow him home?"

Rebecca crossed her hands over her chest and walked closer in a slow stride. "Yes, I do," she responded. She arrived beside Charles and stared at Sarah. "I commanded him to tell you the truth today, so I followed him in case you overreacted. He will soon become mine so I can't let you hurt him,"

Rebecca loosened her hands from her chest and elevated her left shoulder. "I know how painful the truth can be, so I'm not amazed you acted as expected."

Sarah cracked up. "I wish I could laugh out loud," she uttered. "But Rebecca, if I want to react, do you think you can stop me? You, plus him, aren't enough to tackle me."

"Sarah, don't make a big deal out of yourself. Without Sandra, everyone knows how weak you are," Rebecca let out. "I told him to choose this hour because you won't be with Sandra. I know she's a madwoman, so I'm avoiding her."

Charles faced Rebecca. "I'll take care of this, dear. Whether or not she wants it, we'll get the divorce. I'll do anything for you." He assured me.

"It's obvious you can't do this alone. If I didn't intervene, maybe you would have the third slap already," Rebecca said. She pushed Charles aside and faced Sarah. "Woman, why are you making a big deal out of divorce? He said he doesn't want you anymore. Will you force yourself on him again? Till when will you keep up with this?"

Sarah smiled discreetly. "Why will I beg for a fruitless marriage that does nothing other than drain me?" She voiced out. "Why will I beg a man who thought his salvation would be the one who he means nothing to? A fool who wants to go back to you, who played with his heart back then,"

"Didn't you abandon him then because he doesn't have what it takes to take care of you? What's now special about him that makes you come back? Does anything change?" She mocked in a questioning tone.

"You're wrong. I didn't abandon him. My mom sent me off and denied me access to reach him. It's not my fault." Rebecca explained, and Sarah burst into laughter.

"I don't need to hear this. At least you already lied to him and he believed you. That's enough." Sarah let out.

"Enough of this, Sarah. Your words won't work on me again. Never," Charles let out. "You lied to me about what happened then. You told me Rebecca abandoned me because of my condition. It's now clear you said it all just for your interest. You acted like an angel just to have your way into my heart. Your lies have ended and nothing will stop this divorce."

"It's useless to argue with you now. But I'm sure you'll regret this," Sarah poured out. "Rebecca, you spent years abroad and still make him your choice? I bet there's a more hidden reason attached to this. You didn't accept him out of love, right?"

Rebecca's eyes blinked twice. "My reason doesn't concern you!" She unintentionally raised her voice. She looked at Charles's face and threw a question. "Does it concern her?"

Charles swiftly shook her head. "Not at all."

Rebecca shifted her gaze back to Sarah. "Enough of your old tricks. None of your words can weaken us or change his mind," she blurted. "We separated, and now that we're back together, just go away and let us be. It's our life. His life, his choice. His choice, his decision,"

"Accept the divorce. There are various means to survive, and marriage shouldn't be one."

Sarah chuckled lightly. "Rebecca, I'm not surviving with this marriage. This marriage relies on me. If I say I fed and clothed Charles and his family, I'm not bragging, it's just an analysis. He and his family survive on me." She clarified.

Charles widened her eyes. "Do you want a payback? Calculate everything and Rebecca will pay you back."

"Yes, I will," Rebecca agreed. "Just name your price."

Sarah exhaled softly and filled her lips with a beam. "All I've done for you can't be calculated. Should I mention I sponsor our wedding?" she spoke in a cool tone. "Besides, I'm priceless and my worth can't be determined with whatever amount you pay,"

Sarah sighed and brightened her smile. "I've pride unlike you both and if not because of this worthless marriage, do you think I don't know my worth?"

Her question required no response, so she proceeded. "Because of my dignity, I'll do anything to protect. I'll walk out of this marriage without taking a penny from you."

"Sarah, will you reject this fantastic offer? Accept it now or you'll regret it later if Rebecca changes her mind." Charles advised.

Sarah slowly shook her head, looking at Charles's face. "If shameless is a person, it will be you. To hell with you, her, and your offer. Set of shameless humans," she said. "I don't have time to trade words with you. I would rather fetch water into a pocket than use my time and energy for you."

She took a soft breath and discharged it in the same manner. "Right until this moment, I never knew I was tired of this marriage. It drained me a lot and I don't even want to continue," she voiced out. "You were never worth me or my love, but I turned a blind eye to your flaws, and refuse to reason that you turned me into your money-making machine,"

"You've been sullen for a few days, and I was even bothering myself to find out what's wrong only to get this great news. Anyway, Charles, I'll happily cut ties with you. I accept the divorce,"

She looked around the room and shook her head in pity. "What a waste of money. I wish I hadn't spent my money on decoration. I would have thrown myself a freedom party,"

She faced Charles and lengthened her hand forward. "The divorce paper. I'm ready to sign it." She requested.

"It's-" Rebecca attempted to talk, but Sarah gave her no space.

Sarah raised her left hand and shook her index finger, directing her words to Rebecca. "Charles and I are still couples, so your interference is limited to how much you can intervene," she made a point, and knowing what might be wrong, she put her hand down beside her. "Get the paper ready tomorrow."

She walked to the bed cabinet to pick up her phone and walked past them, heading towards the door. "Call me for the details tomorrow."

"You can spend the night here. I've got a place for me and Charles to spend the night and we all know it costs fortunes to rent a house these days, so I'll let Charles leave this place for you." Rebecca said as she veered around.

Sarah halted and with her hand on the door handle, she glanced backward. "I paid the house and rent so Charles can't decide whether or not I can stay," she declared and opened the door. "But I'd rather go to hell than spend the night in this house. My heart calls for the need of new fresh here and I shall obey,"

"Your presence is disturbing, and you spoiled the air already, and it's suffocating," she said, and without waiting to hear another word, she walked out of the room and slammed the door behind her.

Immediately as she walked out of the wooden fence, tears flooded out of her eyes, and her face instantly wet.

A year's relationship and two years of marriage just ended for a reason she never imagined.

She, Rebecca, and Charles were college mates, but she never talked to Charles until after she lost her father and started working at the same store with Charles, whom she lent her shoulder to lean and mourn Rebecca's absence.

Everyone knew Charles and Rebecca had been in a relationship since school days, so the news about their separation spread widely, and to gain pity, Charles lied Rebecca dumped him because he couldn't afford her.

Sarah helped him in every way, which she believed was the reason he fell for her, and she accepted him to make someone believe she had moved on.

"How dare you do this to me, Charles?" Sarah asked and wiped her face.

She wasn't sure if she was strong enough to face the challenges because, in the past years, all she'd done was her best to prevent Charles from having low self-esteem. Since things ended this way, all she could think was to follow her heart- she wished she could go to a far place, but she had no family member to cry to.

She was just an orphan who lost her mother at a young age and her father during her college final year. Her stepmother chased her away because she would be a burden along with her own two children.

"Gosh!" She let out and brushed her hand over her face. She unlocked her phone and dialed the contact of the only person she had, Sandra.

The phone rang for a few minutes, but Sandra didn't pick it up. "Where did she put her phone?" Sarah whispered.

She dialed the number again, and it didn't ring twice before Sandra picked it.

"Hey, buddy. Can we speak tomorrow, please? I'm at Victor's place." Sandra said and instantly hung up.

"What's she-" Sarah ground her teeth. She redialed the number, but it wasn't reachable.

She placed her hand on her forehead and exhaled softly. "What am I supposed to do now?"

She opened her bank app to check her account balance. "This isn't sufficient."

She gave it a minute's thought, and since nothing came to her mind other than leaving the area, she turned to the left and headed down the street.

~~~
"No, you can't, Sarah..." Sarah told herself every minute she thought of going back home since there was nowhere to spend the night.
She stopped by Sandra's house, but Sandra didn't leave the key behind. She checked a convenience store to work overnight, but there was no vacancy, so she had been wandering around for over an hour.
She entered the fourth street after Sandra's and saw a swing at the other side. A smile instantly appeared on her face, and she was excited she could finally sit and relax.
She looked left and right and ran to cross the road, but as she got to the road center, she suddenly felt dizzy and her feet became hard to move from the ground.
"What's wrong?"
She felt pain in her head, but couldn't even lift her hand as she struggled to take a step forward, but her body continued disobeying her mind's command at the moment.
"What's happening to me?!" She screamed in silence.
Cars' lights set on her face and their honks rang loud in her head, showing cars were getting closer, so she put more effort into moving, but she couldn't.
Her eyes drooped and her body drifted downward, but before she could reach the ground, someone grabbed her.
"Sarah!" He shouted her name as her body fell into his arms.
"Harold." She called in a weak tone.
"Yes, it's me." He answered.
She relaxed her head on his shoulder and her eyes shut.
He rounded his arms around her body and patted her back. "I'm back now, Sarah. I got you. You're safe with Harold."
Chapter 3 003
Sarah's eyes gradually opened and the first thing she glimpsed made her eyes swing open. "Hun!" She exclaimed as she quickly lifted her head from the pillow.
She looked around the room with a furrowed face, staring at the luxurious wardrobe and the bed she was sitting on.
"How did I get here?"
She tried to remember what happened last night and how she ended up here, but her brain stopped working when she heard the honk of the cars from last night again.
"Fuck!" She whispered. She stretched her head to look at the door covered with the wardrobe angle. "Anyone here, please,"
Her voice was low and no one would hear her, so she spoke louder. "Who's there, please."
"I'm here!" A lady in a knee-length skirt and shirt rushed in. She stood before Sarah and bowed her head. "Good morning, ma. How's your night?"
"Good morning," Sarah responded. "I don't know what my night was like, just like I've no memory of how I got here,"
She looked at the lady's face and threw questions. "Who are you? And please, where on earth am I?"
"I'm Katie," the lady introduced. She wore a smile and proceeded. "We're in one of the four enormous bedrooms in a luxurious mansion. Namely, Harrison Villa VI, Iderade city."
"And how do I get here?" Sarah interrogated.
"I don't know either. I received a call from my boss, ordering me to rush here to look after someone, and getting here, I met you lying on the bed," Katie explained. "He just added I shouldn't disturb you and I should give whatever you want."
Sarah furrowed her face, confused. "Who is your boss?"
"Be patient, ma. You'll find out when he returns." Katie spoke with a cool voice to avoid sounding rude or getting Sarah angry.
Sarah took the duvet off her body. "I can't wait for him to return. When he returns, tell him I'm grateful." She let out and crawled forward.
Katie whiffled her head in opposition. "You can't leave without his permission." Katie declared.
"Is this an abduction?" Sarah stopped and stared at Katie's face. "You can't reveal his identity and neither do I have an interest in him,"
"Let me go or I'll call the police," she threatened. She touched her body in search of her phone and looked around the room, but couldn't find it. "Where's my phone?"
"Calm down, please. I didn't keep your phone. I can allow you to leave, but I have to follow rules or I'll face the consequences," Katie persuaded in a cool voice. "I believed my boss only helped you and I can assure you he isn't a bad guy. Just let me inform him you're awake. Please."
Katie sounded promising, so Sarah believed her and sat back. "Okay."
"Thanks," Katie bowed her head. "I don't know what you'll take, so I haven't prepared a meal. Should I get you a coffee or tea for relaxation?"
"I want wine. Alcoholic one." Sarah requested and her eyebrows raised up. It was what she wanted, but she didn't intend to say it.
"Hun!" Katie toned, confused.
"Tea," she requested, and, feeling embarrassed to look at Katie's face, she got down from the bed and headed towards the bathroom. "I want to use the restroom."
Katie wore a sour smile. "Feel free..."
←Few minutes later→
Katie entered the room with a cup of tea in her hands and walked to the bed. "This is the tea, ma."
"Thanks," Sarah uttered. She lifted her head from the bed header and as she lengthened her hand to collect the tea, the door banged open and her gaze directed at the door.
Seeing the guy at the entrance, she quickly closed her eyes and shook her head, thinking she was hallucinating, but opening her eyes to see him again, she furrowed her face.
"Harold?!" she called in disbelief.
Harold joggled his head and inserted his hands in his pocket, taking his steps slowly. "Yes, it's me," he confirmed with his lips occupied with a beam. He ceased walking and looked into her eyes. "Long time, no see, Sarah. How've you been?"
Sarah lowered her gaze and closed her mouth as she turned to Katie. "Is he your boss?"
"Yes, ma." Katie confirmed.
Sarah withered her face and stared downward. "What's going on in my life presently?" She wondered. "Why am I falling from a frying pan into a fire? And not just any fire, but the depth of it?"
She raised her gaze to look at his face. "Why do I come across you and not someone else?" She threw a question.
"Because the universe wants the best things that you deserve for you." Harold gave an immediate response.
"You're a-" Sarah controlled her tongue- she had a lot on her mind, but wasn't interested in talking to him.
She exhaled softly to calm herself. "Thanks for today," she rushed down from the bed and walked past Harold, heading towards the door. "I'm out of here and I wish we never cross paths again."
Harold turned around and watched her paced to the door and as she laid her hand on its handle, he threw a question. "Sarah, we haven't met in four years. Are you sure you don't want to talk to me?"
Sarah clenched the handle and ground her teeth for a second before she turned around, and immediately as her eyes landed on his, she asked, "what do you expect I should say?"
She widened her eyes in outrage. "Should I have jumped into your arms and cried about how much I've missed you?"
Harold discharged a soft breath. "If you've nothing to say to me, Sarah, I've got a lot to discuss with you, and I hope you'll hear me out."
Sarah shook her head. "You're a duper and I won't spare even a second to hear your lie. Never. Just like I've nothing to say, I won't listen to anything either."
"I may mean nothing to you now, but for the sake of what I meant in the past, just hear me out. Please." He requested.
Sarah scoffed. "The past?" She repeated, amazed. She pointed her finger at his face and let out, "the bygone is bygone, but that past, I don't want to talk about it, and don't you ever mention it again."
"We couldn't communicate before I traveled then-" he has a lot to say, but she cut him off.
"You didn't travel, Harold, you disappeared," she corrected, rolling her eyes. "There's a difference, so don't mix it up."
"I didn't-" he still wanted to talk, but she had no interest.
Sarah raised her right hand to shut him up. "I've no interest in your reason," she declared. "You saved me last night, but that doesn't make you my hero. I would rather curse for rescuing me,"
Tears rose in her eyes, but she caged them beneath her eyelids. "You should have left me to die. At least, it would be better than what I'm facing right now,"
She sniffed and looked into his eyes. "Harold, I regret ever crossing paths with you. I hate you, hate myself, and every fucking thing happening in my life," she lamented in a raised voice because of the pain roasting her mind at the moment.
She licked her upper lips and blew a heavy air through her mouth before she spoke with a lowered voice. "If possible, Harold, let's never cross paths again."
"If staying away will make you happy, I'll do so. I'll watch from afar, but if I see you sad again, I won't hold back. I'll do all it will cost to make you happy." He promised.
Sarah chuckled. "I would rather die in pain than share it with you," she expressed. "Don't poke your nose in my business. You helped me won't make me welcome you,"
"You can't stay around in my life. Stay far away from me. I don't need you."
Harold tightened his lip and nodded. "Anyhow you want it,"
He walked to her front and took out her phone from his trouser pocket and handed it to her. "The doctor said you should take adequate rest to avoid endangering the blessing's health."
She stared at him, confused. "What are you talking about?" She questioned.
Harold filled his lips with a grin. "Congratulations, Sarah. The doctor confirmed you're pregnant." He announced.
Sarah's eyes widened, and her lips quivered. "That... that's not possible! I can't be pregnant?"
"Why isn't it possible? The doctor already confirmed it."
