Grrrrrhhhhhh... I sprang up from my bed, hitting my alarm with my hand, making it fall. I gasped and quickly climbed down from my bed. I picked it up and checked for any sign of it breaking. I heaved a sigh of relief to see that there was no scratch. Mom's sure gonna scold me if anything happens to my sixth alarm clock for this month. Lol, I know you're surprised at my carelessness, right? Well, I'm not an early morning person, so whenever i wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm, i just kinda vent my frustration on the poor thing.

I went to my closet, pulled on my pajamas and tied my white fluffy towel round my chest and got into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth, got into the shower and took my bath. I'm sure not gonna use a bathtub today. I don't wanna be late on my first day in school. I came out of the bathroom after drying my hair with the hair dryer, I dried my body with my towel, sat at the front of my dressing table, and applied a body lotion. Then I wore my underwear and my already-ironed uniform, which was a short purple flare skirt which was just above my knee and a white long sleeve which had the Lavender High School logo. Yeah, I'm gonna attend Lavender High. It is said to be the best school in the whole of America. I also heard that most of its students were very arrogant and spoiled. Well, they shouldn't cross my path cause imma gave em' a piece of me.

I wore my white socks and a black pair of shoes. I packed my hair into a ponytail, then applied a lip gloss, smiled at myself in the mirror and took my backpack and stepped out of my room.

I got to the sitting room, taking in the scent of the nice breakfast mom must have prepared, though we have a cook, but mom loves making breakfast. She says a good meal made by her in the morning will bring us good luck. I wonder how true it is. I saw my little sister Delaney already in the dining area. I'm not surprised anyway, she's only eight but eats like a seventeen-year-old boy. But with all the food she eats, she's still so slim.

'Good morning Cassie' she said with her tiny voice.

'Morning Laney, did you dream of your prince charming again?' I asked with a grin, as I sat down on a dining chair.

'Yeah, of course, I did. You know what?' She said, reducing her voice and leaning towards me, so my mom who was bringing in the food wouldn't hear her.

I chuckled and strained my ears and asked 'what did you two do this time '.

' We kissed.' She said in a hushed tone.

' What?! ' I chuckled.

' You better believe it' she said with a grin.

' Hmm, i see ' nodding my head and smiling.

' Cassie, how was your night?' Mom asked, as she grabbed a seat.

' It was great, until my stupid alarm woke me up' I said grumpily, taking a toasted bread into my mouth.

' Hope you didn't break it again?' She asked with a knowing look.

I shook my head negatively, grinning.

' Where's dad?' I asked.

' Here I am, princess ' I heard my dad say. I turned and saw him coming down the stairs, already dressed for office.

' Good morning, dad ' I greeted. '

' Morning, Cassie ' Dad said, taking a chair at the end of the table.

' Good morning, dad ' Laney said without raising her head with a mouthful of bread.

' And to our little eater ' Dad said, tickling her, making her laugh.

I glanced at my wristwatch and gasped 'Oh my! 'I'm almost late, I gotta go' i stood up as I drank from my cup of tea. I ran to the door and ran back to drink water, rinsing my mouth in the process. I ran back to the door. I heard my mom saying,

' She didn't even say goodbye '.

I went outside waiting for my driver to take my car from the garage. I got to school on time, thank goodness! I came out of my car after thanking my driver. I stood at the front of the big school gate.

Woah! The gate is definitely an expensive one. It looked really magnificent. I wonder how much was spent on it. I looked around and saw other students, obviously rich kids, some coming out of expensive cars driven by either their driver or themselves, some even came with bikes! You know what I mean by bikes. I went inside through the gate. My mouth dropped open at what I saw. Okay, I see why this school is regarded as the best. The school was so big, and it was painted purple and white. The way it was painted really brought out its beauty.

I took out my phone to check out the school map which I used to trace my way to my class. I got into a place which I guess is gonna be the hallway. I was about to take a bend when someone bumped into me, making my phone crash on the ground.

' Hey bitch! Can't you watch where you're going? ' I heard the idiot say.

Cassie P.O.V

' Hey bitch! Can't you watch where you're going?' I heard the idiot say.

I looked up to see the stupid guy who had bumped into me. He even had the guts to call me a bitch.

' Look who's calling me a bitch. You actually bumped into me, making my phone fall down and, instead of apologizing, you call me a bitch? Well, I think you're the scumbag here '. I said nonstop, glaring at the he-goat.

' I see you don't know who you're talking to, huh?' The dick head said.

I noticed some students had already started to gather around. Okay, I'm sure not gonna lose on this one.

' Well, I know' I said with a smirk, moving closer to him.

He furrowed his brows, then I said 'You're a product of an unwanted pregnancy.'

I heard the students gasp. I smirked at him, noticing he had nothing to say. I picked up my already cracked phone and was about to leave, when i felt a hand grab me. I turned and saw it was the stupid he-goat.

' Let me go ' I yelled, trying to get free of his grip, but he only held on tighter.

' Do you really think I'm gonna let you off, huh?' He asked, gritting his teeth.

' What are you gonna do ?' I gave him a daring look.

He increased his grip on me, making me flinch.

' Let me go' I half yelled. The students had already started murmuring. Geez! This idiot made me fight on my first day at school. Looks like he wants it the hard way. I kicked him hard in his crotch, making him groan. He left my hand, bending to tend to his pain. Immediately, I took to my heels to God knows where.

I stopped to catch my breath when i was sure he wasn't following me. I looked around and noticed I had lost my way. I couldn't use my phone again, cause the fucked up guy had cracked the screen really bad. Geez! What am I gonna do now? How am I gonna get to my class now?

i looked around, hoping I could find my way, but then I saw a boy coming in my direction. This one looks calm and innocent. It won't hurt to ask anyway.

' Um...hi ' I smiled sweetly at him.

' Hi ' he smiled back, revealing his cute dimple.

' I kinda lost my way, so I don't know if you could help me to my class ' i said politely.

He looked at me for a moment, not saying anything.

' Newbie, right ?' He asked with a grin. I nodded.

' What class? ' He asked as we started walking together.

' I'm in my final year.'

' Wow! me too. 'Looks like we are in the same class ' he exclaimed.

' Really?! ' I asked, obviously surprised.

' Yup ' he popped.

' I'm Cassandra, Cassie for short. '

' Nice name, I'm Kelvin ' he said, stretching his hand for a handshake. I smiled and took his hand. Looks like I've got myself a friend.

We walked for a while, then we took a turn.

' Here we are ' he said as we got to a class which i guess was ours. We went in together.

' You can sit here ' he said, pointing to an empty seat.

' Thanks ' I said as i sat down, ignoring the stares from other students. I heard them saying stuff like:

' Wow! She's beautiful '

' Isn't she the girl who had a fight with Henry?'

And stuff like that.

So that stupid boy's name is Henry.

I looked around for Kelvin, i sighted him on a seat not too far from mine. He was busy with something in his book. Guess i should just let him be. He has helped me enough. I noticed an empty seat was behind me. I wondered whose seat it was. I just hope the person is as nice as Kelvin. I don't wanna have an idiot for a seatmate like that punk who crashed my phone. Speaking of my phone, I'm just gonna get a new one.

' Hey you ' I heard a voice before me. I looked up to see three girls glaring at me.

' Um...hi' i said, smiling at them.

' Woah! She's trying to play nice now,' The one in the middle said.

I stared at them confused.

' I don't know what you're trying to do, but stay away from Henry ' she said, giving me a dagger stare.

' It's a warning ' she said, and left with the other girls.

Just then, a young lady probably in her early thirties came in. She was really pretty and slender.

' Good morning, students ' she said, smiling, revealing her white teeth.

' Morning, ma'am ' the students chorused.

' How was the weekend? ' She asked.

' It was pathetic 'I heard someone say.

' It was great '. A girl giggled.

' I had nowhere to go, can you imagine? ' Another girl grunted.

' Today is the beginning of another new week, so let's get down to business ' she said, but the students were not even listening, they were all murmuring and looking at the door. Okay was going on now? I looked in the direction they were all looking in. My heart skipped a bit when i saw him. He was with two other boys, walking in with his hands in his pocket, chewing gum.

All the girls started screaming his name like he was a god or something. Our eyes met, he smirked at me, I rolled my eyes looking at the board. But i looked back when i noticed he was coming to my table. Oh my God! Not now, but he passed my table and fuck! He sat behind me!

' There is a new student, so she's gonna introduce herself now ' I heard the teacher say cutting my thoughts. I could feel the students staring at me, cause obviously i was the only new student in class. I stood and went forward, putting on my best smile.

I cleared my throat and said ' I'm Cassandra Dela Vega '

' What a weird name ' i heard the Henry guy say. All the students started laughing. Okay, I'm just gonna ignore him now. He should thank his stars a teacher is here, else i would have lashed him with my mouth. I glared at him and went back to my seat. I was not gonna let him distract me.

Henry's P.O.V

Okay, why is she quiet now? I was expecting her to fight back, but surprisingly, she didn't. She just glared at me. Yeah, I know, i bumped into her, but that doesn't give her the right to talk to me that way. I see she's got a big mouth there. No one dares talk to me the way she did, she even hit me in my d**k, Geez! Imma showed her where she belongs in this school, I thought with a smirk.

During the break. I sat watching as she was talking with a boy.

' Why are you staring at her?' i heard Theo ask.

' I'm not staring, I'm glaring ' I scoffed, while Liam chuckled.

' If i heard you correctly, you bumped into her, making her phone fall. Instead of apologizing, you called her a bitch, not knowing she's one heck of a girl. She lashed you real bad with her mouth, calling you a product of an unwanted pregnancy. And she kicked your d**k! Woah! 'I think I like her already ' Liam said, laughing out loud. Theo also joined him. I swear I'm going to make that girl pay for this humiliation. Just then, I saw the bitch going out with that boy. Why is he following her? I shrugged it off, not like it's my business anyway.

' Let's go ' i said, standing up.

'To where?' Theo asked.

' Will you just shut the fuck up and follow me' i gritted.

We got to the cafeteria, and all the students, especially the girls, started screaming. Well, I'm used to it already. As the most popular and handsome boy in school, I gained so much attention from them. I ignored them and looked around for the bitch. I spotted her with that boy again, seriously?!

We sat down at our usual table. Immediately, a waitress came to take our orders.

' Hey you, come here ' I called out to a boy. He hurriedly went to our table. I guess he's a junior.

' I want you to do something for me, and you mustn't fail at it okay, unless you wanna be expelled.' I said, making him flinch. I gestured for him to come closer, so I whispered to his ears. He nodded and left. I looked at the bitch, who was laughing at whatever that stupid friend of hers was saying.

Get ready for me, i thought with a smirk.

' Dude, what are you up to and what with the expulsion thing?' Liam asked. Well, his dad is the owner of Lavender High.

'I have something for that bitch ' I said, gesturing to Cassie.

' Henry don't do anything stupid ' Theo warned like he was my dad. I just rolled my eyes and continued eating.

Cassie's P.O.V

The break was over already. Kelvin and I were walking together to our class.

' So, you mean you kicked him in his crotch?!' Kelvin asked, laughing.

' Yeah, i had to do it' I said with a tone of seriousness.

' Wow! 'You're one heck of a girl' he said with a chuckle.

We got to our class. I went to my seat, ignoring the glares from Henry. This boy is really jobless. Too bad I have got no time to waste on him.

A male teacher came in. He immediately commenced his teachings. It was literature, my best subject!

It was closing hour already. Kelvin and i were walking together. We had almost gotten to the school gate when a boy ran towards us.

' You're Cassandra Dela Vega, right?' He asked.

' Yes, I am' I answered.

' Um...the principal wants you in his office' he said.

The principal? Why would he want to see me? I mean I've done all the necessary registrations.

' Okay thanks ' i said.

' He wants you now ' he added. I stared at him. Why do I feel like something is off with this boy?

' I will come with you ' I heard Kelvin say. I looked up at him, he was giving me a 'I don't trust this boy' look.

' The principal wants to see her alone ' The boy said.

Cassie's POV

' If he's not gonna come with me, then I'm not gonna see the principal ' i said with a smirk.

Kelvin and i followed him behind. The boy increased his pace, and soon we lost him. We got to the principal's office, but it was locked.

Henry's P.O.V

I hummed to the song i was listening to on my headphones, operating my phone at the same time, as I laid on my bed. I've been in a good mood since I came back from school. But I'm sure someone isn't, someone named Cassie. She would probably be freaking out in the store room at school. I wonder how she's fairing now.

Is she gonna be crying her eyes out, or will she be sitting on the floor like the crazy girl she is? Or she is probably de... no, no, I shouldn't be thinking about that.

Nothing is gonna happen to her. I just wanna teach her a little lesson, so she will learn to control her mouth whenever she's around me. I'm no ordinary guy she should mess with.

I lay in my room going through a book, when a message notification popped on my phone. I checked it, and it was from Kelvin. We had exchanged numbers at school earlier today.

'I'm fine, how was your day?' he asked. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

'It was great... just great thanks to Henry ' I replied.

'That's how he is, being the son of the CEO of Villoria Group of Companies.'

'Of course! He made me fight on my first day in school, can you imagine!'

I smiled and dropped my phone. I turned over in a way I was facing the ceiling. So that dumb ass is actually the son of the CEO of Villoria Group of Companies. I've heard mom and dad mention the name of the company in one of their discussions.
