Chapter 1 Forbidden Love : The Billionaire's secret Affair

"Painful! Let go of me, you jerk!" snapped a neatly dressed woman, typical of a young teacher. She tried to jerk her hand away from a sturdy man standing in front of her.

"No, not until you want to be mine!" replied the rugged and somewhat menacing man.

The woman, identified as a young teacher, continued to struggle against the grip of the man in front of her, which was difficult to break free from.

"I'll never, you jerk!"

"Let go of me!" the woman continued, still trying hard to free herself from the grasp of the man in front of her.

Not far from their position, another man came quickly towards them with a slightly panicked expression.

"Stop! Don't be rough with the woman!" snapped the newcomer, pushing the rugged man who had been acting aggressively.

"Shit!" cursed the rugged man, now managing to release his hand from the grip of the young teacher.

The woman was Olivia Parker. Olivia was an independent woman who worked in the field of education as a math teacher. She had graduated from college just a year ago at the age of twenty-four. Olivia had been a bit late to attend college compared to her peers because she had worked for two years before finally deciding to pursue her education once she had saved up enough money.

Her beautiful and captivating appearance usually captivated some of the men she passed by with the aura she emitted.

Olivia was just a child born into a simple family, so she tried to earn money for herself to continue her higher education. Because both of Olivia's parents had long passed away, she was the only child who lived alone as an orphan.

So now Olivia only lived alone and was known as an independent woman; all her friends said that because for years she had never been in a relationship with any man.

Not because she wasn't popular, many men approached Olivia, but she faced them calmly, but the response from men who acted aggressively towards Olivia was excessive.

"Huff!" Olivia sighed with relief after the strong grip of the man obsessed with her was released.

"You better leave before I report you to the police for assault!" the man who helped Olivia escape from the obsessed man said firmly.

Luckily, after that, the man who had behaved roughly towards Olivia left the area of Olivia's house with long strides and an angry face.

In short, Olivia thanked the man who had helped her; he was Olivia's neighbor, already married, and had children.

"I'm almost late," Olivia muttered before getting into her simple car that she owned after working as a teacher at the most favorite school in New York.

She was a bit rushed in driving her car, leaving her very empty yard.

A few minutes later, Olivia arrived at a luxurious and magnificent school. Actually, the school was Olivia's dream school when she was going to enter high school, but unfortunately, Olivia couldn't afford it due to financial constraints. And instead, God gave Olivia the opportunity to teach at her dream school. God is indeed kind and fair, isn't He?

"Huff! Luckily, I'm not late," Olivia sighed with relief when she saw the school gate was still wide open with many cars and bikes entering the area of the prestigious and favorite school.

Although if a teacher is late for school, the closed gate will definitely be opened again, but Olivia didn't want that because she thought it would make her look like an undisciplined teacher and not set a good example for her students.

As a result, Olivia had to try her best not to be late; being late once might already make Olivia feel guilty. So because of that, Olivia had never been late for school in the one year she taught at the prestigious and most favorite school in New York. The name of the school was Genius High School.

After parking her car in the special parking lot for teachers, Olivia quickly got out of her car and walked towards the special room for teachers, where Olivia and other teachers at Genius High School worked.

Along the way to the teachers' room, Olivia was greeted by students who happened to be walking in the corridor towards the teachers' room, whether they were boys or girls. Olivia was known as a friendly teacher, so she confidently replied to all her students' greetings very kindly.

"Good morning, Miss."

The greeting came from three girls walking side by side and in the opposite direction from Olivia. Getting greeted like that made Olivia smile sweetly.

"Good morning to you too," Olivia replied without mentioning the names of the three girls who were still in the tenth grade. It wasn't that Olivia forgot their names, but Olivia didn't want to bother mentioning all three of their names because she was in a hurry to get to the teachers' room to quickly take attendance.

"I'll go first," Olivia continued politely before getting a nod of agreement from the three girls who greeted her.

The three of them watched Olivia leave while stopping their steps. Their gazes seemed to invite conversation about Olivia.

"I'm really amazed by Miss Olivia." Right, one of them immediately opened a conversation with the topic being Olivia.

"Not just you, Flo, I'm also very impressed with Miss Olivia, especially the rumor that Miss Olivia has never been in a relationship with any man at all. I feel like I want to introduce Miss Olivia to my brother," replied another girl who called the first girl Flo.

"Does Miss Olivia even want to be with your brother? Not necessarily, Desy," another girl chimed in with a slightly snarky tone. This girl called the second girl Desy.

It's certain that the girl who spoke quite long was named Desy, while the first one was Florain. The last girl to speak was Bianca. The three of them seemed to be good friends or you could say best friends. It was evident from their relaxed way of speaking and Bianca's straightforwardness.

Desy's response to hearing Bianca's remarks sounded annoyed, and she immediately looked at one of her friends with a sharp and unfriendly look. "Why do you say that? It's not impossible if Miss Olivia wants to be with my brother, right?" she retorted, seemingly unwilling to be outdone by Bianca.

"I think it's very unlikely," Bianca replied casually as if on a beach. Both of the girl's hands were clasped together over her chest as if she weren't afraid at all of Desy's annoyed response.

Smack!

Desy didn't hesitate to throw a light punch on Bianca's arm as an outlet for her annoyance towards her friend. "It seems like you don't like it if my brother is with Miss Olivia!" she said with a sharp tone and an unfriendly face.

Florain, who saw her two friends like that, felt annoyed; she sighed softly while rolling her eyes lazily.

"No, I'm fine, I just want to remind you not to get your hopes up too much because Miss Olivia is very hard to approach by men, right, Flo?" Bianca replied again, this time ending with asking for Florain's opinion, who had been silent since then.

Desy growled in annoyance at Bianca's seemingly annoying words to her. Meanwhile, Florain didn't respond to Bianca's question; she just sighed softly before intervening before her two friends started arguing over trivial matters.

Chapter 2 Forbidden Love : The Billionaire's secret Affair

"Ring"

The distinctive bell signaling break time echoed in every corner of the classroom, occupied by each student who had been engaged in learning.

"Miss Olivia!"

Olivia's steps halted as someone called her name enthusiastically. The woman, who had intended to head straight to the teacher's room, stopped in her tracks and turned around to see who had called her.

"Hi Desy, what's up?" Olivia asked kindly. It turned out Desy, a tenth-grade girl who had greeted Olivia earlier that morning along with her two friends, was the one calling her.

Olivia was slightly surprised when she realized it was Desy who called her, as she hadn't taught in Desy's class earlier. She wondered why the girl was calling her.

Desy, who had been running, now tried to catch her breath before the corners of her lips curved into a sweet smile, reflexively returned by Olivia.

Desy's hand, which had been holding something, reached out to Olivia. "Here, Miss, I want to give you this. My mom cooked too much earlier at home, so I packed two lunches and was unsure who to give them to. Since you're my favorite teacher, I decided to give this to you," Desy explained at length, presenting a paper bag containing the same lunch as hers.

"For me? Why don't you give it to your friend, Desy?" Olivia replied, not too surprised by Desy's statement that she was the girl's favorite teacher, as Olivia had heard it a few times from Desy herself. Olivia felt a bit happy to be treated specially by a student, not just Desy, but several others as well.

"Florain and Bianca brought their own lunches, Miss, so please just accept this," Desy said pleadingly, still holding out the paper bag to Olivia, who hadn't yet accepted it.

Olivia sighed softly, seeing the pleading look in Desy's eyes; she couldn't bear to refuse her. Reluctantly, she accepted the lunch, even though she had brought her own sandwich and jam. Perhaps she would still eat Desy's lunch because it seemed to contain rice.

"Alright, Desy, I'll take it, thank you so much," Olivia replied, accepting the paper bag that Desy had been holding out since earlier.

Instantly, a wide smile lit up Desy's face after the girl had earlier looked at Olivia with pleading eyes.

"You're welcome, Miss, I'm happy to give it to you," Desy said enthusiastically, with a bright and cheerful smile like the sun.

"Yes, Desy, thanks again, I'll excuse myself now," Olivia replied, smiling warmly and bidding farewell to her student.

"Okay, Miss, see you." Desy waved enthusiastically with a beaming smile as Olivia walked away from her.

"Oh, how delightful! I hope Miss Olivia likes Mommy's cooking," Desy murmured softly, watching Olivia leave with sparkling eyes. The girl was truly in awe of her math teacher.

In fact, Desy originally disliked math, but after entering high school with Olivia as her teacher, Desy slowly began to dislike the subject less. She often looked forward to math class just to meet Olivia.

Desy's admiration for Olivia couldn't be expressed in words. In essence, Desy regarded Olivia as almost perfect, citing Olivia's kindness and friendliness as the primary reasons she liked her.

Meanwhile, Olivia had just arrived at the teacher's room and sat down in her seat. She glanced at the male teacher sitting right beside her. Olivia knew him, but she wasn't particularly close to him, although he often tried to engage her in conversation, which Olivia disregarded.

"What class did you just teach, Oliv?"

Olivia silently sighed in annoyance upon hearing the question from the man beside her when she had just sat down. 'I've barely sat down, and he's already asking questions, doesn't he see if I'm tired?' Olivia thought irritably. She didn't particularly like the male teacher sitting beside her; she felt he was overly familiar with her, even calling her by a shortened nickname without permission.

Derrick Jonathan, that's the name of the young teacher who was roughly the same age as Olivia and sat beside her. He often caught Olivia staring at her with admiration. Olivia wasn't oblivious; she could interpret his gaze, which is why Olivia acted indifferent and distanced herself from Derrick.

"Class ten A," Olivia replied shortly, glancing briefly at Derrick before she opened the paper bag given by Desy.

She tried to appear busy by playing with her phone while eating Desy's lunch, which turned out to be rice, stir-fried vegetables, and neatly arranged fried chicken in a lunch box.

"Oh, do you know a student named Luxe?" Derrick didn't stop at his previous question; instead, he continued to ask Olivia, who was clearly about to start her lunch.

Olivia sighed heavily, trying to contain her patience wearing thin. Trying to remain calm, she looked at Derrick with a forced smile. "Could you save your questions for later? I'm going to eat, and I'd appreciate not being disturbed during my lunchtime," Olivia said calmly and composedly. Deep down, she wanted to snap at Derrick to make him realize she didn't like him.

Derrick scratched his head deliberately, grimacing. He immediately apologized to Olivia, who responded with a nod and a brief cough. Olivia didn't even glance in Derrick's direction, which made him feel guilty enough to rub his face harshly.

Unbeknownst to both of them, one of the other teachers had been listening to their conversation and observing their behavior. This teacher was much older than Olivia and Derrick.

"Tsk tsk, poor Mr. Derrick, he's been trying to get Miss Olivia's attention for a year now but still hasn't received a response," the teacher murmured after clearing his throat a few times in a low voice.

The teacher was a man, and the graying hair on his head indicated he was well into his forties. It seemed he had also been silently observing both Derrick and Olivia. His seat was positioned behind them, making it easier for him to monitor their conversation.

Chapter 3 Forbidden Love : The Billionaire's secret Affair

Around two in the afternoon, the students at Genius High School were already pouring out of their classrooms as it was time to go home after the dismissal bell rang loudly in every corner of the classroom. Usually, that sound was the most favorite sound for most of the students there.

Olivia didn't immediately leave because there was a teacher meeting this afternoon, and all teachers were required to attend, or their salary would be at risk.

After ten minutes passed, all the teachers at Genius High School were gathered in a special room for the teacher meeting. There might have been more than thirty teachers there. It could be seen that there were forty chairs provided but still a few were left.

The meeting proceeded seriously, creating a very tense atmosphere. Olivia's face turned very serious, occasionally glancing at her close friend sitting next to her.

"Psst, don't be so tense Oliv, aren't we used to attending meetings like this?" Suddenly, Olivia's friend sitting next to her, Yolande, whispered softly near Olivia's ear.

Olivia turned to her friend named Yolande. Olivia had been friends with Yolande since she entered Genius High School as a teacher. While their ages were six years apart, so Yolande was already in her thirties and had a husband and two children.

Olivia looked grimaced. "True, but I still feel tense because seeing our bosses looking very serious, and it's not usual for meetings to be held on Saturdays like this, right? Usually it's on Mondays, so I think there's something that caused this meeting," she replied, also whispering softly to Yolande as the meeting began with the opening from the head of the school at Genius High School.

Yolande nodded understandingly. "I understand, but try to think positively, Oliv," she replied calmly, which was obediently nodded by Olivia who didn't speak anymore.

Olivia was trying to calm herself and not be tense anymore like before. Occasionally, Yolande glanced at Olivia while pulling one corner of her lips to form a smirk.

Especially when Yolande's eyes accidentally caught sight of Derrick, who seemed to often sneak glances at Olivia, which made Yolande hold back from laughing right then and there.

'Olivia is really a very carefree woman, already knowing she's liked and pursued by Mrs. Derrick but Oliv remains carefree and indifferent,' Yolande thought to herself, shaking her head before she redirected her gaze back to the headmaster who was explaining something.

Half an hour later, what they had been waiting for had finally arrived, the end of today's meeting. Olivia was very eager to lie down on her bedroom bed until tomorrow. Even Olivia's agenda tomorrow was spending the whole day inside her room because Olivia wouldn't waste her weekend by going out which would ultimately make her tired again.

Before leaving, Olivia and Yolande returned to the teachers' room to retrieve their belongings. Yolande was exactly like Olivia, bringing home important personal items every weekend. It could be said that they had been on the same frequency since long ago.

"By the way, have you heard about tomorrow?" Yolande asked with a vague and unclear question.

Olivia, hearing it, immediately frowned, making her eyebrows unite. "Tomorrow? What's happening tomorrow, Yolan?" she asked, puzzled. As far as she knew, tomorrow she was free and would spend the whole day inside her room only.

Yolande nodded. "It seems like you really don't know."

"Let me tell you, tomorrow there's a charity event at the Tirtawijaya orphanage for the children there. Haven't you checked our group or something? Usually, you know it first," Yolande continued, making Olivia suddenly widen her eyes before she briefly slapped her forehead.

"Oh, I forgot about that! I already knew since yesterday, Yolan, but I forgot," replied Olivia, who was slightly disappointed with tomorrow. Her agenda of staying indoors all day without leaving the house was suddenly postponed, and Olivia was crushed by the reality even though the charity event at the orphanage was very enjoyable for her.

Yolande chuckled softly seeing Olivia's changed expression. "You must have been thinking about wanting to stay at home all day, right?" she guessed, which was immediately correct. It made Olivia sigh heavily.

"You're like a mind reader!" Olivia replied with an unmooded face.

"It's okay, Yolande, I'm always happy when there's a charity event at the orphanage," continued Olivia, who then changed her slightly gloomy expression.

Olivia would always be enthusiastic if there was such an event because she would meet many children, and it would reduce her loneliness by being with the children from the orphanage.

"I know, but on the other hand, you must feel like resting at home, right?" Yolande asked with a mischievous smile.

"Yeah, true, but what can I do, this charity event has become my priority, Yolan," Olivia replied seriously, which was responded to by Yolande with a nod.

"Yeah, Oliv, whether you like it or not, you have to join, right?"

"Let's just finish this conversation, let's go home quickly so we can rest at home," Yolande continued, now ready to take her important belongings in a bag she usually brought once a week.

Olivia nodded in agreement with Yolande's words. They both headed to the school parking lot together while interspersed with light conversation about their plans if there were no charity events tomorrow.

The two parted ways as they entered their cars, leaving the school area in opposite directions. Their homes were indeed in opposite directions and quite far apart, so it was no wonder they only met at school and charity events, besides that, they rarely met.

"Hey!?" Olivia panicked when suddenly there was a car that cut in front of her car and blocked her path. Seeing that, Olivia wanted to ask for help but she was confused about who to ask for help, Olivia thought the car blocking her was a car containing men who liked to rob.

"Oh my, what is this," Olivia muttered in panic before she was surprised when the driver of the car in front of her got out of the car.

"Jackson?" Olivia muttered in surprise. Apparently, the man was the same as the man this morning who forced Olivia to be driven.

Although she already knew that the driver of the car was not someone who liked to rob, Olivia still panicked because the man she called Jackson was a rough man.

"Oliv! Come out! I want to talk to you!" Jackson shouted from outside Olivia's car while knocking on the window of the car several times.

Seeing that, Olivia became even more panicked and didn't want to open the car door at the same time locking it. She tried to calm down and think about how to pass Jackson's car blocking her path by taking the remaining road. Olivia was hesitant.

"Olivia! Open the door now or I'll smash your window!" Jackson shouted even more brutally in knocking on Olivia's car window.

"Huffhh! Calm down, focus," Olivia muttered, taking a slow breath before she finally moved her car slowly and finally managed to escape from Jackson who was shouting her name.

Olivia accelerated even more when she saw Jackson starting to chase her.

"Oh God, help me get rid of him," Olivia muttered with a feeling of fear.
