Chapter 1 A Monster like You Should Die

A girl was dressed in prison uniform in a freezing cage, curling up in the corner with hands around her knees.

She stared blankly ahead and was lifeless. If the guards had not known she was still alive, they would have thought that the young woman was already dead.

What brought the girl back to her senses was the sudden voice.

"Miss Smith, how do you feel about your sister's patricide?"

"It simply devastated me." The familiar voice reached Sarah Smith's ears and made her pupils constrict abruptly. Then, she tilted her head to look over at the source of the sound.

A guard was sitting outside with a tablet in front of him, and a video clip of Amy Smith being interviewed was playing on the device at this moment.

Sarah could see the video clearly from her visual angle, and she clenched her teeth in hatred upon seeing the radiant countenance on the screen.

"I genuinely didn't expect my elder sister to do such a horrible thing," Amy Smith continued, "I'm sure you all know, my sister has a poor reputation and has made a lot of mistakes, but Dad never blamed her and loved her as much as ever no matter how ridiculous and huge those blunders were. However, she actually..."

At this point, Amy suddenly raised her hands to cover her face and sobbed softly, appearing sad.

Darren Lewis, who was beside Amy, took her by the shoulders and softly comforted her by saying, "Amy, cheer up. That kind of person is not worth your crying for. Also, she has got her due punishment and will spend the rest of her life in prison."

Amy shook her head and said in a self-reproach tone of voice, "It's all my fault. If I had noticed my sister's anomaly earlier, this tragedy wouldn't have happened, and Dad wouldn't have..."

Amy could not go on, covering her face in tears.

"Miss Smith is so kind-hearted. She still volunteers to shoulder the blame at this time."

"In sharp contrast, Sarah Smith is a monster. I mean, President Smith is her father, no matter how. How could she have killed her father? That's extremely cruel."

"People like her are the dregs of our society. They should die."

"Exactly. Life imprisonment is not enough to atone for her crime. She should be sentenced to death."

"You know what? I'd rather see her being tortured endlessly and envy the dead."

The reporters kept praising Amy's kindness and reviling Sarah's heartlessness.

At the severe abuse, Sarah shook her head ceaselessly and muttered to herself, "No, I didn't kill Dad. She, Amy Smith, is the one who killed our father. Not me."

Upon hearing the mumbling, the guard turned back to look into Sarah's tear-filled eyes. He snorted with disdain, then taunted the girl.

"What are you looking at? You're nothing but a heartless monster who even killed your own father. A monster like you should die. Where did you get the nerve to keep alive?"

Sarah somehow wanted to defend herself after listening to the invective in the video, looking at the disdain on the guard's face. "It was not me. I didn't kill my father. It's Amy. Amy and Monica. It's them."

Sarah abruptly felt a twinge in her heart, and she fell to the ground and curled up, her pale hands tightly gripping the front of her uniform. She felt like a million ants were gnawing her internal organs, and it was so painful that she could barely breathe normally.

Chapter 2 Let's Go to Hell Together

Staring at the guard before her eyes with an expressionless face, Sarah asked for help in a weak voice, "Help me. Please, help me."

She had to survive. If she died, no one else could avenge her father's death.

She must kill Monica and Amy with her own hands and let those who once hurt her pay the price.

"Help me."

Sarah desperately crawled forward. The guard flashed a sneer and said with contempt, "I didn't expect you to be so tough. In theory, the poison should have taken effect long ago."

"What?"

Sarah shuddered all over in disbelief and lifted her head to look at the guard. However, her vision was blurring, and her internal organs were hurting.

All of a sudden, she opened her mouth and spat out a massive mouthful of dark blood.

As her consciousness was losing, she heard the guard's cold voice saying, "You will become a disaster if you're allowed to stay alive. Do you really think Mrs. Smith would stop as you're sent to this place? How stupid..."

"Monica..."

"Why? Why are you allowed to enjoy all the joys and luxuries after doing all kinds of evils? That's unfair. God is unjust!"

"Monica! Amy! I, Sarah Smith, swear that even if I go to hell after death and turn into a vicious ghost, I will come back to kill you two."

...

"Sarah, are you awake? Dad wants you to go downstairs. Mr. Green is here."

Sarah was awakened by the knocking at the door and Amy's shouting.

She frowned irritably, then sat up in bed abruptly as she recalled something, staring at the scene in front of her with her eyes wide open.

She instantly recognized that it was her bedroom from the familiar decor and vibe.

What the heck? Was not she dead? What was the hell going on?

Could it be a dream? So, even the dead could dream?

Sarah frowned due to a headache.

"Sarah, I'm coming in."

As Sarah did not respond to Amy for a good while, the latter pushed the door open and entered the room.

Hearing the door creak, Sarah tilted her head to look over. The moment she saw Amy, her pupils constricted, and then, endless hatred flooded into her eyes.

Noticing the murderous look in Sarah's eyes, Amy intuitively took two steps back with fear, saying, "Sarah, you..."

Sarah interrupted the other girl's weak voice in anger, roaring, "Amy, you bitch. I'll kill you."

With that, Sarah jumped off the bed and pounced directly on Amy.

Before Amy could react, Sarah slapped her in the face, then grabbed her hair to hit her head towards the wall.

"Amy, you want me to die, don't you? Come on, let's go to hell together!"

At this moment, the expression on Sarah's face was like that of a demon from hell, eerie and terrifying.

Amy was firstly dazed by Sarah's beating, then struggled desperately after coming to her senses.

"Sarah, you bitch. Let go of me, let go..."

Amy felt like her scalp was about to be pulled off as Sarah grabbed her hair rudely, and the pain was excruciating.

Amy reached out to pat Sarah. However, no matter how Amy struggled and slapped the latter, Sarah refused to loosen her hands and held Amy in a death grip.

Eventually, Amy managed to free herself from Sarah's grip and turned to run out of the room as fast as possible, crying out while fleeing.

"Mom and Dad, please help me. Sarah is crazy. She's trying to kill me!"

Chapter 3 I Will Kill You

Downstairs, Mike Smith was talking nicely to the man sitting across from him.

"Mr. Green, it was my incompetence that let Sarah make such a mistake. Please give her another chance. I promise Sarah will never make a blunder again."

Given the Smith Family's high status in Sun City, Edgar Green had to control his temper at Mike's friendly, courteous words.

At the thought of what Sarah had done, however, he clenched his teeth in anger again.

Fighting, brawling, clubbing, and missing classes...

She had done everything that was prohibited in the student rules and regulations.

That was not all. What made Edgar even more devastated was that Sarah did not go against the provisions on her own but also encouraged the rest of the class to join her.

Ever since Edgar became the class teacher of Sarah, not only did he never get any bonuses, but a considerable part of his salary was deducted.

Each time at a meeting, he would be mentioned as the object of criticism by the school managers, which left him ashamed in front of his colleagues.

At this moment, Edgar's expression was frequently changing.

Monica Hand, witnessing what was going on, hurriedly echoed her husband by saying, "Yes, Mr. Green. Sarah is still young. It's inevitable for the young to blunder. Please give her another chance. I'm sure Sarah will never make a mistake again."

"Well..."

Both Mike and Monica were so accommodating to Sarah that Edgar did not know what to say.

It seemed that every time Edgar came to Mike to inform the latter of Sarah's performance at school, it ended up with nothing definite.

But this time...

As a teacher, Edgar decided that he could not just stand by and watch his student go astray.

No matter how terrible Sarah was, she was Edgar's student. He felt that it was unethical for parents and teachers to indulge a student in erring from the right path.

Thinking so, Edgar took a deep breath, plucked up his courage, and said, "Mr. Smith, please forgive me for..."

"Dad! Mom! Help!"

As Edgar tried to express his point, the shouting from upstairs interrupted him.

The loud noise instantly drew the attention of the three people downstairs.

Amy rushed downstairs while screaming, then hastily hid behind Monica, crying miserably. "Mom. Sarah is crazy. She said she's going to kill me."

Monica's face turned pale at the words. After glancing at Mike's and Edgar's equally pale faces, she rebuked Amy by saying, "What are you talking about? Don't talk nonsense. It would be bad if Mr. Green misunderstood Sarah."

On the surface, Monica was afraid that Edgar would misunderstand Sarah. Actually, she was throwing paraffin onto the flames. Then, she put on a good-mother expression and explained to Edgar.

"Mr. Green, ignore Amy's nonsense, please. Sarah is a good girl at home. She would never do anything..."

Before Monica could finish her sentence, Sarah's voice sounded from upstairs as if she was deliberately contradicting Monica.

"Amy, I'll kill you!"

The roar scared Amy to hide behind Monica once again.

Mike's expression was incredibly gloomy.

Sarah, however, rushed downstairs like a breeze, waving her punches and pouncing on Amy.

"Sarah, stop it."

Mike shouted in anger as Sarah lunged at Amy. Monica protected Amy behind her back, nervously.

Monica knew clearly how aggressive and domineering Sarah was. When the young woman got mad, she would not heed anyone's words.
