Taehyung was once again stood up by his date, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time he was stood up.
Pushing his lips together in disappointment for he once again he thought. This one was different, but it turns out he was wrong again.
Shuffling his feet Taehyung was debating on whether to stay five more minutes. Just to make sure he wasn't stood up or to just leave and go back to his shared apartment.
Where his best friend, Jimin is waiting to tell him "I told you so"
Breathing out a sigh Taehyung started making his way towards the bus stop quickly. Seeing as it also drops two or six degrees as he was waiting for his date, Sungjae.
His eyes widened when seeing the bus pulled up with quick thinking. He started shouting waving his hands helplessly in the air till he successfully got on.
Smiling sheepishly at the bus driver as he quickly dug for some change, cheeks heating up in embarrassment as well.
When finally finding the much-needed money he quickly pays ignoring the complaints of others behind him.
Sitting down at an open spot he glazes out the window to see what was supposed to be. His date leaving with another boy laughing, and being intimate.
His shoulders sag as his doe eyes begin to tear up unlocking his phone. Taehyung didn't waste time deleting Sungjae's number from his contacts.
Placing his head softly against the glass window he hums to himself. Keeping his tears at bay eyes darting to the front of the bus curiously as the bus had made another stop.
Where five guys stepped on loudly laughing and joking around making. Taehyung smile to himself at the happiness of others.
Besides the somewhat loudness of the five boys it was quiet, that is until Taehyung's phone started ringing loudly.
He didn't realize at first far too out from the world in his thoughts. And daydreams of the date going better with Sungjae and him.
Until he felt the angry stares on him, he snapped out of his daze. Eyes widening the size of dinner plates when realizing it was his phone ringing.
He bows apologizing to those around him while quickly answering the nonstop ringing phone.
"Hello?" Taehyung's deep voice asked making some stare. Not expecting it to come out from such a lanky boy.
"Taehyung it's me Jae, I was calling to say sorry I was caught up and forgot about our...date" Sungjae apologized hesitant clear as he said that one word.
Making the brunet's posture slouch as his brown eyes weld with tears. Glancing down to stare at his feet, dangling freely off of the high seat.
"I-Uh understand but to make it easier on us Hyung please don't call me back and I'll do the same" Taehyung murmured before he hung up leaning back into his seat glancing out the window.
Noting mentally he's close to his apartment, blinking back tears rapidly he pulled the string to stop the bus.
Carefully standing up to make his way to the front. When he finally got off the bus was when the tears soon make their way down his cheeks.
As he ran inside the apartment building head down. Fast walking to his place and fumbling with his keys to unlock the door.
Taehyung jumped face first onto the couch letting. His tears out in the comfort of his own home
"Tae? Is that you!" Jimin shouted from his room scared by the sound of the front door slamming shut.
Especially when not getting a response Jimin sighed. Already figuring out what happened as he walked to the living room. Spotting his best friend crying his eyes out. Once again.
Jimin spent the last few hours of his morning consoling Taehyung about his horrible date yesterday.
To say he was happy and well-rested is a complete bullshit lie, Jimin was the opposite.
"Taehyung! For the love of tacos, he's not worth it! Why are you crying if he was like the other three" Jimin shouted his patience, and kindness snapped?
Upon hearing the harshness of Jimin's words Taehyung wiped his eyes. Reality dawning on him
"Jimin am I ever going find the right one?" He asked hopelessly sitting up crossed-legged on his bed.
Playing with his fingers as he peered up at his roommate. Through his thick eyelashes watching as Jimin sighs.
"Taehyung honestly live life, when the right one comes you'll know okay, just come on, don't you have work today? If you keep sitting there you're going to be late"
Taehyung frowned debating on quitting his job at the library seeing as that's where he meets all his "special guy friends".
Despite his thoughts, he gets up to prepare for work. Jimin was right and once again Taehyung was running to the bus. This time with his bus pass ready as he got on, Taehyung didn't notice.
The same group of guys from yesterday laughing at the scene he just caused. Matter of fact even the bus driver was chuckling at the boy.
Instead, he was more focused on what to put for his Instagram, yes Instagram to show Sungjae.
He wasn't dwelling on him and he moved on already despite crying his eyes out, till just a few hours ago.
Taehyung felt oddly accomplished especially after the likes started flooding in on the gram
Taehyung felt oddly accomplished especially after the likes started flooding in on the gram. Which made him smile thinking he-for once, won-as he looked out the window.
Ignoring his phone's constantly buzzing from likes, and comments. Everyone always questioned why he falls in love so easily, and Taehyung's always responded.
That he always liked cute things and right now he was in love with the cute puppy next to him
"Excuse me miss, may I pet your puppy?" Taehyung he asked hopefully, grinning.
When she smiled nodding her head okay petting and playing with the dog. He looked up at the owner again, asking if he may also take a picture with the adorable fluff ball.
It was then when he remembered where he was heading. Eyes spotting the library's outline sadly Taehyung yanked on the chain. While holding tight onto the bar to keeping himself from flying out of his seat.
"Bye puppy and miss" he waved cutely walking off the bus heading towards his job.
When he got there he walks to the back to clock in when his coworker Seokjin happened to be clocking in also.
"Hello, Hyung!" He exclaimed brightly
"Hi, Tae how was your night you were so excited about" Seokjin greeted back politely. Ignoring the glares of his very jealous boyfriend, Namjoon who was with his friends.
The mention of his supposed-to-be date made the brunette sad for a minute. Before he brushed it off remembering what Jimin said earlier.
"It was alright" Taehyung muttered putting on the silly apron his boss, Chanyeol made him wear.
Who oddly enough was dating his older brother, Baekhyun. Walking out from the back he then notices the glares from the blonde-haired boy.
Across the room unaware he was Seokjin's boyfriend. Eyeballing at the man glaring at him weirdly, he shakes it off.
So he can start on the cart that was filled with books. That he now has the task of putting them back to their rightful places.
And judging from the pile, it'll keep him busy for quite some time. Taehyung was minding his own business stocking shelves. When he heard his name being called from the front.
Peeking his head out from behind the shelf he was at. Taehyung raised his brow to find Seokjin waving him over.
"Jin-Hyung what's wrong?" Taehyung asks worried making Seokjin laugh
"Nothing's wrong Chanyeol just wants to see you for a minute" he informs the younger.
Nodding his head okay he tells Seokjin what he was doing last. Asking to help him finish putting the rest away while he's gone.
Walking in his brother's boyfriend's office Taehyung. Sits down in the hard plastic chair across from Chanyeol.
"Taehyung I need your help!" Chanyeol exclaimed throwing his hands in the air
"For?" he drags out curious already
"Baekhyun got mad when I said we couldn't have a dog and now he's not talking to me" His boss whined childishly
Taehyung gasped upon knowing this information "Why won't you let him get a dog! Are you some sick monster how can you not let a cute fluffy thing in your arms?" He rambled making Chanyeol realize he truly is related to his beloved Bakkie.
"I'm allergic to dogs!" Chanyeol shouted annoyed. Since he's been repeating those four words for the past two days.
"Are you allergic to cats?" Taehyung questions tilting his head to the side cutely, absentmindedly Chanyeol shakes his head no.
"There you go! Get him a kitten instead!" Taehyung shouts out as he begins to giggle while clapping his hands.
Already making plans to stop by at his older brother's house if he does get a kitten.
"A kitten? You think he'll like that instead of a dog?" Chanyeol questions taking the suggestion to heart.
Watching as Baekhyun's brother vigorously shakes his head yes.
"Okay, I'll get him a kitten I already know where to go, okay listen since you helped. I'm going to leave you in charge this once, so don't screw up" Chanyeol says handing him the keys to the library as he scrambles for his belongings.
"No problem, Chanyeol!" Taehyung exclaims cheekily making the latter chuckle leading both of them out of his office.
"Seokjin! Taehyung's in charge you know what to do!" Chanyeol informs his employee before walking out the library doors
"Why are you in charge?" A library helper named Jackson asked in disbelief
"Because" Taehyung dragged out "I'm the little brother to his dearest Baekie" he continues cheekily. Sitting down on the office chair in front of the check-out computer.
Spinning himself around Taehyung giggling loudly as he dangled the library keys in his colleague's faces.
Stopping himself he grips onto the desk a little "Woah" slipping from his pink lips.
"Why are you guys looking at me get to work hm" Taehyung snapped trying to sound tough only to fail as he bursts out laughing
Taehyung quickly caught himself before his face hit the hard surface of the desk. Laughing sheepishly as he looked at his coworkers.
Seokjin raises his eyebrows at the younger his hands making it to his hips, in a Mom like fashion.
"Tae you wanna hand me those keys before you lose them hm," He asks tilting his head to the side
Taehyung sighs, thing is what most besides his family and best friend Jimin knew was he sensitive-extra sensitive.
So as a result, he sadly handed Hyung the library keys. Before going back to stock shelves his head down as he did so.
Seokjin of course felt bad but he knew it was the responsible thing to do. Not knowing what his boss was thinking about giving Kim Taehyung the keys.
Taehyung being bored wished he would've acted a bit more "mature". So he could've been sitting on the cool chair in front a bit longer.
Yet of course he never thought things through like the usual. His eyes trail along the almost empty-besides the people actually reading- library.
When he spots a brown-haired boy hunched over a book, alone in the isolated corner of the building. He tilted his head to the side confused on why someone would want to be alone like that.
Before he can do anything he'll regret someone loudly. Calls out for a name making him scream and jump in response out of fright.
Running over to the front desk he looked at the blonde-haired Jackson who was doubled over laughing his ass off.
Even Seokjin let out a few giggles here and there. Taehyung pouted crossing his arms, as he rolled his eyes while walking back. To where he was ignoring the calls of his name.
Instead he "occupied" himself when really he was(what you can say observing the boy from earlier). Eyeing everything of the boy from his strong jawline to what seemed like a good body build.
Enough to say he had Taehyung's attention and whether the boy knew or not he was stuck with it.
He had Taehyung's attention so bad said boy didn't even notice. The little piece of broken carpet sticking up was just enough to make his trip.
Causing almost all the books on the shelf next to him dramatically fall on top of him. Leaving him groaning in pain as everyone stared at the brunet in wonder.
Which said brunet was painfully covered in maybe over three hundred books. And boy did they lie when they said words didn't hurt because thin or thick it hurt. Hurt like hell. Even then that boy still had Taehyung's attention.
Once again he was hooked or as he would say in love. Everyone rushed to help the unresponsive boy under the pile of books, worriedly. Even the boy who caused all this ruckus and pain on Taehyung rushed over to help him.
"Taehyung! Are you okay!" Seokjin shouted throwing books randomly trying to find him. Only all he got in response was groaning and what sounded like mumbling.
"Hyung! I-I think I broke my nose" Taehyung's whined went unheard. As everyone pitched in to help get the books off of him and to be honest his nose wasn't exactly the only thing broken.
Finding some strength he does his best to lift himself but you'll be surprised how heavy books turn out to actually be.
Everyone watches as a mysterious bump appears. Books falling off from Taehyung's back, his shirt soon appearing. Jackson doesn't waste time to pull him out. Taehyung screamed when his leg scraped against some books.
Jackson carried him to a chair setting him down carefully while carefully observing the boy who had tears forming in his eyes.
"Tae are you okay?" Seokjin questioned breaking the silence that fell during the process.
"I don't know can you call my brother?" Taehyung responds scared to move his leg that felt like it was burning
"Wait never mind I'll do it!" Taehyung shouted regretting asking to call his older brother.
"Would you like us to take you to the hospital ourselves then?" Seokjin asked worriedly
"I'll just call Jimin" He mumbled taking out his phone waiting for it to turn on, also regretting his decision of shutting it off.
Taehyung, well everyone was unaware of the fact the "mysterious" boy was despite the situation, checking out Taehyung.
Seeing as right before the accident he felt the curious stares on his right cheek, he knew it was the boy before him.
It truly isn't his fault but he felt responsible seeing as it was him. Who made Taehyung so distracted to cause such a ruckus. So the boy thought he should wait. Wanting to make sure he-Taehyung was okay.
