The blues song thay was played in the restaurant rhythm with the dancing of the waiter. He look so cool in his white and black dress, I was admiring him all along, is it his manner of approach? The way he talks? everything look so simple to him. I keep avoiding his gaze whenever our eyes came into contact with each other, his cuteness is what we call ....

Cuteness from an above, i would have mistaken him for a lady if not for his boyish figure. I shouldnt be admiring a man here when I have lots of work to do in my office.

He turned around and carried a tray which is filled with drinks and foods in order to serve other customers in the bar, i quickly looked away as he pass by to serve the other customers in the restaurant and drink the remaining juice with me. I keep peeping at him at regular interval. He look so young and cute, I need to Know him but wouldn't it be like I have no shame after all it doesn't matter and I don't care about being the lady calling a man for herself.

I decided to call on him

"Excuse me brother"

"Hello,ma am, what can I help you with? He asked smiling showing his white gapped teeth

"Ehmm...am sorry, I need your help on something"

"My help? hope it's not something serious?" He asked again Changing his look to a serious one

"Please, if you wouldn't mind please can I have your number?" I quickly asked ignoring the looks I get from other customers that is sitting close to my seat

He furrowed his brow and stare into my face very well before replying me.

"My number?... Alright"

He said passing me a small white card and left .

I felt more embarrassed because the person sitting close to me has already heard what we said. I stylishly stand from my seat and left the restaurant.

I went out and insert my key to unlock my car before entering

Am "beauty Ernest" am the first daughter of my parents followed by two sisters,am close to 35years, I know you will all keep wondering that how come a 35years old woman was busy admiring a young man, is she not married?

No am not, that was why I need someone

Am a very rich business woman, I started getting rich at the age of 22years, I set my goals during my teen ages and I was uplifted by a helper which turns my life all around, am not into rituals, the man showed interest in me during my school times and decided to help my life, that was why am rich earlier till now, as rich as I am. I have a problem, which is?

I have the problem of getting a rightful spiuse, once they start dating me, they later dumped and use me, most of them dup.e.d me of my hard earned money, I first close my heart to any guy but times is not on my side again,won't I get married? This is too much to bear o Lord, my siblings are married,both my younger sisters are already with two kids while have not start the first stage of my life not to talk of getting married and bearing baby.

I sighed as I drove off

I got back home while the gate keeper opened the gate

"Welcome madam" he greeted

"Thanks baba" I replied and went inside my house

"Back to my lonely life" I muttered

I undressed and changed into something simple, my maid hurried to my side

"Madam, your food is ready, should I serve it?" She asked

"No, don't! I want to rest before eating anything for now

She left after this...

I decided to call the new guy, I don't even know his name my manners....

Chris pov

Am a waiter at " junis restaurant" I am a young guy of 25years,am currently single because my salary can't meet a girlfriend demand with the increasement of things this days, am earning 20k per month and my staying single pays me because if I should have a girlfriend now, she may start demanding sharwarma, I phone, out of the 20k salary, it's not done, am not ready for such responsibility, i prefer staying single for now

Am currently squatting with my friend Oliver and we both managed whatever we have

I was busy serving people round when this young lady came in, she looked 22 years to me and she is so pretty claded in her red fitted gown with silver heels to match,she packed her hair in a ponytail. I hardly take my eyes off her and I served her

I later caught her starring at me but she quickly look away, I guess she is shy

She later asked of my number and I was surprised, well.. who don't like better thing? I gave my card out and she later went out.

Today is a stressful one since it's Monday and we have allot of customers coming in, I just dropped my phone on our small bed when a strange number called me

"Hello"

"Hi cutie, this is beauty Ernest from your restaurant" her voice is so sweet

"Emmm good evening ma,am so happy for your call, are our services good?" I asked her

"Yeah sure, let's leave that and please stop using ma for me, it look emba.rrassi.ng. I will like us to meet in a private place" she demanded

"Ohh what if I say that I don't meet stranger in a strange place" I joked

"Am not a stranger, you will soon know me, you can choose anywhere you are familiar with and get back to me, I will love to meet you again" she said

"Alright dear, I will get back to you" I said while she ended the call.

Chris pov

She ended the call from her side when my friend Oliver came in

"Oh boy, you are back from work, how's today work?" He asked

"Stressful as usual, did you prepare anything for us to eat?" I asked him

"Noooo,the last card with me now is not much and we have small cornflakes to drink this night" he replied

"Cornflakes?" Am tired of all this o" I lamented

"There is nothing we can do boy, we just have to accept it that way or have they pay your salary? because they haven't paid mine"

"Alright I will manage it, the way poverty is pestering us this day is not a small thing. I will see various delicious food at the restaurant and won't eat because I don't have the money and if we take a bite, we will be queried, i'm just tired ooo. God should quickly help us" I said and sat down on our flat bed while oliver went to get the cornflakes.

We both sat down to drink it when he asked

"Any gist for me?''

"I get a gist for you, I saw a lady at our restaurant today, though I always see different beautiful ladies which don't enter my heart but this particular lady like this, as I saw her, my heart is with her straightaway. she dressed so classy and she is pretty. she later collect my number before she left"

"It's a lie, How would she collect your number by herself"

"I think she likes me because the way she dey look at me till she left it's somehow, that lady don fall in love" I replied

"Did you have the money to maintain her, you that poverty is pestering around "

"Why that face now?if I don't get money today, I will get am tomorrow, don't break

Beauty POV

After ending the call, I went to the dinning room to have my meal, my maid keep shaking while dishing my meal on the plate

"Jennifer, what happened?"

"Nothing ma"

"Then why are you shaking?"

She quickly kneel down

"Madam please I want to ask for a favor?

"A favor?"

"Yes ma'am"

"Go ahead" I instructed

"Ma,my mother is sick and I was called since morning, I want to go and see her ma,please can you give me some days off" she said shaking

"Alright,stand up,you have been a good girl ever since have employed you,one shouldnt joke with a mother health, you should have told me since am back from work, okay, you can't leave this night,early in the morning come and meet me, I have something to give mama" I said smiling

"She jumped up, ahhhh thank you madam, you will never lack, you will be blessed" she keep praying till she left

While I enjoyed my meal

I later retired to the sitting room to watch small movies before going in to sleep

I tuned the station to a love story, where a guy and a lady are promising each other heaven and Earth

It makes me remember john my ex boyfriend, he promised me heaven and earth. I was so blind_ed in love with him thinking he will be my last bus stop when he duped me of an huge money and ran away, ever since then, I never heard about him again but I know that my creator will judge him, because I did everything to make the relationship stand but it's failure upon failure

I broke down in tears suddenly

I later console myself since there is no one around to console me.

I went back to my bedroom to sleep...

The next day being another working day

I gave Jennifer some money to assist her mum while she dished out my meal, after eating

I dressed up in a black skirt with white offshoulder top with my silver heels, I love heels and carried my silver bag, my hair was packed in a ponytail as usual and applied few make up before going outside

I start my car and drove off

Am the c.e.o of 'beee company, bee spa, bee supermarket, bee beauty place etc, I decided to visit beee company first

"Good morning ma am" the secretary greeted

I looked around and noticed that some have not open for the day

"Morning dear, where are the manager, assistant manager and accountant?" I asked

"Ma, they are not yet around, it's only I and the security are around including the packaging departments workers" she replied

"Tell them to meet me in my office when they are back" I fired and went to my office,I keep checking files and saw that most of it was left unattended to, I placed a call to the secretary

"Meet me in my office now" I think red

She hurridly come to my office

"Why are all these files left unturned?"

"Ma,h...ave do....ne my part in the files and sub....mit it to the m...ana...ger,I don't know that he don't do any....th...ing on it"she replied trembling

"Is he not around?"

"He is not around ma''

"What! this is past eight,he will meet me here, he think that I won't come here today abii,you can go" I said while she hurried off

"«You see this is what am saying about people,when this guy want to plead for work then, he promised to be hardworking, punctual at work. look at all this, I know what to do"

I said and hissed out loudly

In the next 20mins the manager, assistant and accountant rushed into my office

"Go....od morning ma" they greeted

"What is good about your morning, just look at the time"

They all stare at the wall clock

"This is exactly 8:30 am this morning and you have not resumed for work yet, if i start shouting now, they will say that am too harsh and WIC...ked, I don't joke with my work as you all know me, you all think am not coming to the work today that was why you came late right! I know that if it's your work, you won't do that, and I know what to do to you all" I said

While they all prostrated

I call the secretary in

"Type their suspension letter " I instructed

While they all shouted

"There are a lot of applicants out there looking for work, it look like you are all tired of your job, go and spend few months at your home, after then, I will know if to accept you back or not" I said

While they all keep pleading

They were later dragged outside by the security man

Am I too harsh?" I asked myself.

Beauty pov

After giving my workers suspension letter, I ordered my secretary to put out our vacancy board outside, there are more serious people who need my job.

I decided to face bee company for the day without going anywhere, I placed a call to all my managers in my other business to take care of it and close early by five to peek at my crush

I drove my venza to the restaurant and Alighted from the car, I adjust my dress very well before going in, I saw him with a lady, my heart react somehow but I decided to wave it off, he wore a blue polo with black trouser with sneakers to match, he look much cutier today, he keep smiling at the lady, she wore a casual dress, what did he see in this lady, anyway he will meet me here, am getting jealous already.

He later raised his head up and saw me, I quickly look away while he walked up to me

"Good evening ma am,what would you like to take today?" He asked smiling at me

I was lost in his gaze until he tap me

"Eh...ehm, yeah, what did you say last?" I asked him

He looked at me surprised and repeated his question with a smile

"What would you like to take today ma am?"

"Soft drinks is okay by me" I replied smiling

Chris pov

I was busy chatting with one of our customer when she came in, she look elegant and keep peeping at me while chatting with our customer, I decided to leave our customer to attend to her

I asked her about what should would like to take but she seems lost, I tapped her and repeat the question once again

I served her soda drink and I watched as she gulped down the content, she sigh and look around, our gaze met with each other while she blushed and look away, she look shy and start pressing her phone

It's getting late already and this is quarter to 6, it's time to go home, but beauty is still sitting down,I went to her side while she looked up

"Am sorry ma am, it's time to leave here, about our meeting place, have not figure it out yet or do you have anywhere comfortable that we could visit ?" I asked her while she stare into my direction.

She stand up, dropped her phones(iPhone and a small button phone) and smiled at me.

"I have somewhere in mind, would you please follow me" she said while we both went outside quickly

Getting outside I saw a venza,she inserted her key to unlock and signalled to me

No way, is this woman rich? wow this is encouraging and hugeee

I went to her side and opened the car door before going in. she tune her radio to "forever song" and drove off.

We arrived at a big building with the inscription "executive lounge".

Everything seemed like a dream, I didn't know when I screamed out my lung

"Wow,is this not the most expensive restaurant in the state?"

"Yeah it's it" she said and we went in

Beauty POV

I keep looking at him as he looked around the building, he keep starring alot, I guessed that it is his first time of visiting a place like this....I had to dragged him to a seat before attracting unnecessary attention to himself

He noticed this and compose himself

"Am sorry ma am, this is my first visit here and it's kind of overwhelming to me, who could have believed that I would be in a place like this, thanks for making me experience this" he said

A waiter came to take our order

"I know you will be hungry by now, that was why I had to tell the waiter what we want fast food and please stop using ma for me, my name is beauty Ernest and I would love to know you more"

"Am Chris and the only son of my parents, I just graduated from the University this year and am currently squatting with my friend, am 25years old" he simply replied

"Well am beauty Ernest as you know and am 23years old" I lied

"Wow you look 22! He exclaimed

"Thank you dear, am sorry to say this, can we be friends? I would ove to know you more" I said

"We are friends already, and am sorry to ask this, ...please which work are you doing? because am surprised at your car and our coming here" he asked

"Am the owner of beee company"

"Beee company! Wow, I always heard about your company but have never see the owner, am so pleased to meet you ma...am sorry pleased to meet you dear, I have no idea that you are this young" he said almost shouting

I laughed out at his statement, he is right about this because alot of people hardly believe that I am the owner of beee company, I know my boundaries and I am the type of lady that hate flaunting her riches here and there. Chris is fun to be with.

The waiter came in and serve our meal. we ate to satisfaction, he joked with me while we both stand to leave.

"Let me drop you at your house" I said

"Thanks beauty, you are such a darling" he replied

Chris pov

She dropped me in the front of my house and promised to pay me visit another time, I was so excited about everything that happened today. oliver have allot of gist to hear from me today.

I rushed to the doorstep of our room when I heard soft wishper. I gently opened the door and met oliver with his girlfriend in the room romancing each other. Oliver was half naked while his girlfriend is putting on only pant and bra, they both stopped by noticing my presence

"Am sorry" I said and went outside while oliver called me back.
