Fiery Love

Chapter 1

Diana yawned as she stretched herself on top of her king sized bed. She had just been woken up by her noisy alarm clock and was really angry because she was in one hell of a deep sleep before the interruption by her alarm clock.

She took it and smashed it with her footwear throwing it through the window. She checked the time and it was 7:30 AM on the dot. Gosh why didn't this stupid alarm wake me up earlier she thought angrily. Well obviously she had been putting it off sleepily since 6:00 am.

Oh shit I am screwed. Professor Raymond will be in class by 8:00 on the dot and I have less than thirty minutes to arrive in class.

Diana hurriedly brushed her teeth,while practically removing her pyjamas at the same time. She then entered the bathroom and had her bath before coming out to get prepared.

By the time she was out it was already few minutes past eight. She quickly put on a red sweater with black pants and an exotic canvas running down the stairs to the dinning room where her family consisting of her mom,dad,and two siblings were already having breakfast.

"Diana come join us for breakfast" Lauren said smiling at Diana.

"No mom,I can't right now. Its impossible because if I do I am not coming back alive" Diana replied.

Diana then quickly took a sandwich which she munched on while giving dad a peck.

"Jeez Diana,you crazy girl.you should have done that earlier on" Jones said as he used his handkerchief to clean the stain on his face and the twins laughed at that with mom.

Yeah Jason and Stacy are twins and they will soon be clocking sixteen.

"Sorry dad,I love you all. Jason and Stacy see you guys" Diana screamed as she ran into the car.

"Morning maam" Rogers greeted as soon as he saw her.

"Morning Rogers" Diana replied and got in the car through the backdoor Rogers had already opened for her.

He then took off to Skyhigh.

Diana got off the car at the school's gate which has a bold writing " WELCOME TO SKY HIGH". She looked at herself and felt comfortable with what she saw.

To her a lady must always look presentable.

She checked her time and it was 8:30 on the dot. "I am screwed now" she said to herself as she began to walk to her class.

As she took the walk to her classroom some students smiled at her, while some cat awkward glances at her.

'Whats with them ' Diana thought inwardly.

Meet Diana, nineteen years old, really crazy and can't stay a day without having fun that means obviously causing one trouble or the order. She has really long hair with sharp eyes that you could drown in, and a physique like an hour glass.

Though she wants to fall in love like others she often gets scared of being dumped and taken for granted so she always hides her feelings and put up a bold front to every guy who treated himself as a god.

Well that's enough for now, you will get to know more about her later on.

As Diana got to the door of the class, she exhaled heavily obviously expecting the worst that could happen.

She then opened the door and as expected Mr Raymond the history teacher was already in class teaching. All eyes were on her as she opened the class getting in.

"Diana why are you just getting to school by this time" Mr Raymond asked.

Well of cause Diana knew she had to come up with a lie to save her face,but she was not that good at telling Lies also.

"Mr Raymond, my car broke down on the way, and my stuffs got scattered in the car so I had to look for my stuffs in the car" Diana said and the whole class burst into laughter.

'I knew it was because of my lie. I should have just said the truth and now instead of saving my face I ended up ruining it' Diana thought inwardly as she bit her lower lips.

"Yes that's true and while looking for your stuffs someone threw sandwich on your face" he said and the class burst into another round of laughter.

Diana felt so embarrassed that she wished the ground could just swallow her. She had forgotten to clean her face up after hurriedly eating the sandwich and she didn't use any makeup.

"Oh Diana you are so dead" Diana muttered to herself.

"Go have your seat" Mr Raymond finally said the words Diana had been dying to hear and she was instantly relieved. She quickly got to her seat which was beside her best friend clara who was obviously also her seatmate.

"Crazy bitch I guess we are going to get another alarm clock after school" clara whispered to her playfully hitting her head.

" It was not my fault this time around,it interrupted my peaceful sleep and had to pay the price" Diana replied chewing gum.

"Its obviously your fault for not waking up on time,and when you finally woke up you had to destroy the poor clock for heeding your instruction and waking you up. I had asked you for it but you promised not to destroy it you heartless girl" Clara said hitting her index finger on Diana's forehead.

"Clara you..." whatever Diana had to say got interrupted as professor Raymond's voice was heard. He had obviously caught up to our chatting in the class.

" Hey Diana and Clara out of the class!" Mr Raymond yelled at the both of us.

Oh God not again. Diana stood up to leave the class with clara right behind her and she heard him say "Birds of the same feathers" to which she replied "Are siblings!" and the whole class exploded with laughter.

" Get out!!" Professor Raymond thundered angrily and they ran off laughing.

"Feels good at least I got him angry" Diana laughed feeling satisfied with herself.

"Hey girl let's go get something to eat" DianaI said to clara.

She was obviously hungry as a result of skipping breakfast at home.

When they got to the cafeteria only a table for three was vacant and she sat there.

"Are you crazy" asked clara.

"what's wrong" Diana asked shocked at Clara's reaction to her sitting there.

"This table is specially reserved for the Skylords and in fact it belongs to them" Clara said pointing to where i was sitting.

"Whatever" Diana said still paying attention to her dish.

"See Diana I know you are new to this school that's why you are ignorant but listen. The skylords are Evans, Chris,and Bruce. Evans is the only son of the mayor, and I don't have all the time in the world to tell you his networth. Chris is the son of Mr Williams the joint owner of this school and a business tycoon, and Bruce is such a bad ass, I heard his family's wealth are as a result of them being in the mafia though they have many legit businesses now. Though I didn't tell you everything about them you can't afford to cross their ways" Clara said cautiously.

"Thanks for the long introduction but I still don't give a damn. If they cross my way I will give them hell" Diana said stamping her fork on the table.

Clara had no choice but to join her silently wishing the Skylords do not come. But it seemed like her wish was not granted because no sooner had she settled down to eat did she start hearing screams.

Oh my gosh the Skylords are here.They are so cute.

I wish I could just have a taste of Evans lips it will taste better than ice cream

Chris is so cool and Bruce as hot as ever

I am your biggest fan Evans please take me out on a date

How I wish I could stay by their side even as a cook

The comments were too much that Diana had to close her ears.

The air emanating from them exuded that superiority over everyone.

The door to the cafeteria was flung open and they walked in. It was Diana's first time seeing them and they really looked like angels among humans. Evans was in front, closely followed by Chris and Bruce.

To Diana Evans looked calm,Chris was cool and Bruce was really hot, but to her they were really arrogant and anyone that's arrogant was not that good looking. Ironical right.

They walked up to our table or should I say theirs,but I don't give a damn.

"Hey" Evans said.

"Are you referring to me" Diana asked sarcastically.

"Who else or am I acting on stage here" Evans asked.

"That's rude,you should have some mannners" Diana said coldly.

The crowd gasped at what she saiid.

Does she have a death wish

She seems new to Skyhigh or she wouldn't challenge Evans this way

Too sad she won't be staying long in this school

"Well I don't care about manners,but you should have some manners when eating. The table belongs to us and I want you to get up right now!" he ordered.

"Please let's go to avoid more trouble" Clara said.

"It seems like your friend here has more brains than you, so now get out!" he raised his voice a bit trying to intimidate Diana into submission.

However that made her more determined to prove that she i was not scared or afraid of them as she saw the way Chris and Bruce were looking at her obviously trying to pressure her into giving in but Diana was not having any of that.

Too bad that they had to meet a bad ass like her.

"Is that an order or a request" Diana asked.

"What does it look like to you" Evans replied.

"A request" Diana smirked.

"No. It's an order" Evans said.

"And if I don't" Diana asked.

"Well it seems like you want it the hard way" Evans said getting hold of Diana's shirt but she was not having any of that and she used her remaining dish to stamp his face as everyone shrieked in shock.

Chapter 2

"What,she must be crazy,how could she do that to Evans" Someone said.

"What in the" Chris muttered.

"Holy shit" growled Bruce.

Evans could not believe it,like a nobody from nowhere just soiled his precious face.

Some die hard fans of theirs were all coming towards Diana and though she was afraid she tried not to show it and Clara was already fidgeting beside her.

Evans raised his hands to bring calmness back to the cafeteria.

"You just did what you should have never done in this goddamn life of yours and it seems like

you are a newbie" Evans said as he reached for the nearest students handkerchief to wipe his

face clean.

"Yes she is" came a response from the crowd.

Diana just stood there and could not say a word because if looks could kill she would have been dead by then

"I told you it was a bad idea coming here at first" Chris said.

"What do we do about her" Bruce asked.

"Well,let's just do it the usual way,dealing with her here will not be any fun" Evans said and the

students started screaming joyfully.

"What's with the noise" Diana asked.

"It seems like you are not all that fearless" Evans said as he stamped his fist on the table

making the dishes and drinks pour away. He was obviously angry but was trying to suppress it.

"Just remember that you asked for this" Evans said with a dangerous smile before leaving with

Chris and Bruce.

I quickly went away with Bruce and Chris before I would do something I would regret later.

"I Evans the only Son of the richest billionaire in the city had just been..... gosh this should not

have happened" Evans said to himself.

"It seems he is still shocked from what just happened" Chris said and Bruce burst into laughter.

"He looked like a scarecrow " Bruce added and they laughed again. "Oh and I just remembered

his face was the last of its kind".

"He will have to go for a plastic surgery now" Bruce said making faces at Evans.

"Or probably turn his swimming pool into what God knows"Chris chirped in.

"Its okay,I can see you both are obviously happy with what just happened. I will get back at her

and you will know that I am the boss" Evans boasted.

"Yea the boss baby" Bruce chirped in and they laughed at Evans who quickly hopped into his car

and drove off.

"Gosh I can't believe they will do this to me now all because of that pretty bitch." Evans muttered. Just wait whatever they call you I am coming for you bitch.

With that Evans sped off to his mansion as he saw Chris and Bruce speeding in the same direction obviously trying to overtake him.

"Wow that was fun bro". Bruce said as they got into the mansion together.

"Its been a while since we raced like that" Chris replied. "All thanks to miss psycho for making him angry".

"I would rather call her crazy" Bruce said over a glass of wine he was gulping down.

Just then Evans walked into the sitting room with just his shorts on and he was shirtless.

"Oh my God,I am drooling,I can't seem to get my eyes off you". Chris said in a girly manner.

"Of cause who is strong enough not to crush on the boss baby" Bruce said and they choked with

laughter.

"Bruce Lee and Chris Christmas I think that is enough" Evans said.

"Oh no he remembered us,so let's get down to business before he gives us another baptismal

name" added Bruce.

"So what are we gonna do about the bitch that openly defied us". Evans asked.

"I will rather call her crazy" Bruce chirped in.

"Me,a psycho" Chris added.

"Whatever names you want just give it to her,as far as its not for me" Evans said.

Just then mrs Mrs Smith walked into the sitting room.

"Good day mom" Bruce and Chris greeted together.

"Evening to you too". Mrs smith replied."What's with the atmosphere,Evans did anything happen

at school"

"Yes mom but don't worry I have got it under control mom" Evans replied.

"Whatever I have a shareholders meeting, so I will be back late at night". Mrs Smith replied.

"Don't worry mom he is the boss baby after all she will pay for it" Bruce said.

"Wow,its a girl that challenged my Evans,and what's up with the boss baby" Mrs smith said laughing.

"Don't mind Bruce Lee mom" Evans quickly said in defense.

"It seems like you are forgetting Chris christmas" Bruce said and they all laughed.

"You guys are hilarious. See you when I get back" she said as she walked off elegantly when

suddenly they started hearing their voices from someone's phone.

Mrs smith had been recording them on phone.

"Mommmmmmmmmm" Evans shouted after her as she got into her car with her driver already

waiting for her.

"She knows I hate being recorded" Evans said.

"That is that,lets get down to business" Chris said and Bruce nodded.

"Now with all seriousness,what are we doing to her" asked Evans and the trio looked at

themselves in a mean way.

"Oh my gosh you should not have done that Diana" Clara said as they just finished the last class

for the day.

"And so. What are they gonna do to me. Its not as if they are gonna kill me over a

plate of food I gave the pitiful boy" Diana replied

"Like seriously girl in case you don't know you are in for it tomorrow"Clara whispered in Diana's ears.

Diana looked around and noticed students staring daggers at her.. It seems like I have hurt their

prince charming.

It was obvious they could not hide the hate they now had for her.

She obviously just wants attention.

Of cause if not she wouldn't have stood up to Evans knowing the consequences.

'So she is the one that did that to our Evans'.

'what she doesn't know is that she will pay for it dearly'

'we are gonna make you wish you were dead'

'Does she feel she is better than us or she did that to gain his attention'

"Oh no Diana. Are you hearing what they are saying" Clara asked.

"I don't really feel scared,let them bring it on" Diana replied chewing on her gum.

"Okay I get it that you are confident enough to protect yourself, but what about me. I was with

you when the incident happened and they will conclude we were in cahoots making it easier for

them to make me a target. Oh poor innocent me" Clara cried.

"Don't worry about that Clara Diana themyscira got your back" Diana laughed.

"Omg stop claiming to be wonderwoman, and better still do not come to school tomorrow. A

friendly advice though". Clara said.

"Whatever. See ya" Diana replied and they got into their respective cars bidding each other goodbye.

The ride went silently and Diana kept herself busy with her phone while putting on headphones.

The news and trend on the school's social media platform was all about her and lots of people

were scorning and scoffing at her but she didn't give a damn.

It's obvious that no one is on my side as they have gone head over heels over the so called

Skylords.

Suddenly the driver started struggling to bring the car to a halt as the car seemed to be out of

control.

"What's wrong" Diana asked getting scared.

He finally got the car under control and we went out to check what's wrong as Diana adjusted her hair.

"Ma'am it seems someone loosened the nuts of the tires" Rogers replied.

"What, how could someone do that. What if I die!" Diana said afraid and angry at the same time.

Rogers got to work immediately and within minutes he had fixed the problem as he heaved a

sigh of relief glad that things did not spiral out of control.

"Who could have done this ma'am " Rogers asked concerned.

"No one. Let's just go I think I am having a headache" Diana replied.

"Okay ma'am" Rogers closed the door behind me as he entered and drove the car.

What the heck, could it be the students at school who did this.

Oh my gosh I am already so scared. Why did I have to put on so much bravado back then I

asked myself. I am so dead.

When she got home no one was at the sitting room or dinning so she ran upstairs to her room

and quickly dialed Clara's number and she picked up almost immediately.

"Hello babe whats up" Clara said on the other side.

"I am so dead sweetie. As good as dead,can you imagine what happened on my way back

home" Diana asked.

"No,but I know it has to do with the skylords" Clara replied.

"Just as expected,I thought they are vicious but I never knew they could be this inhumane. Can you imagine they loosened the nuts of my cars tire at the expense of my life and I almost got into an accident" Diana said.

"What. They did that". Clara asked surprised.

"Are they crazy! What if I had died" Diana cried.

"You must have been scared to death" Clara said.

"Yes of cause you don't know how scared I was. I thought I was gonna die Clara" Diana pouted using her pillow to hit her bed while scattering her hair.

"Then you can rest in peace tomorrow" Clara said.

"Why" Diana asked.

"That's because that was just the tip of the iceberg" Clara replied.

"What!" Diana screamed into the phone.

Chapter 3

"How about taking my advice and not go to school tomorrow" Clara asked worriedly.

"No I can't do that" Diana said tightening her first as she made her resolve.

"Why"

"They will think I am scared of them and that can't happen" Diana replied.

"Whatever goodbye,I just hope they won't be too harsh on you" Clara said.

"Alright goodbye"I replied as I cut the call and slumped on the bed going to sleep.

Meanwhile back at Evans mansion he lay in bed thinking about what happened in school.

She was really beautiful,and cute with her long dark hair and pink lips, her face so glowing that I could not help but walk over to her with my friends but the jerk in me took over.

I thought she would be among those girls ready to die for me but I was wrong. I don't even

know her name and I think i have already gotten on her bad side.

"She will see me as a jerk and a pervert now!" Evans almost screamed but stopped himself from doing so on time.

"I think I .... What am I even thinking about" he muttered to himself.

She still has to pay for what she has done.

As Evans was still deep in thought someone barged into his room and he knew his mom would never do that.

He looked up and at once surprise was written all over his face.

"Lucy!" He screamed.

"Oh Evans baby,I missed you" Lucy said as she went to hug him on the bed.

" I missed you too" Evans replied. "Why are you back".

"What sort of question is that" Lucy said.

"Well you suddenly came back and its not up to a year".

"Well let's say its a surprise and everyone will know tomorrow that Lucifer is back" Lucy said

with a grin.

"You came right on time then,there was this girl who had the nerve to splash food on my face" Evans said acting childishly.

"What!. Who the hell did that" Lucy inquired.

"It was a female newbie" Evans replied.

"So how do you plan on dealing with her" Lucy asked.

"A really simple way. The one who gets her to pass through the worst hell gets a really pleasant surprise from me." Evans said proudly.

"Then I am in for the surprise" lucy said smiling devilishly.

"That will be more exciting Lucifer" Evans said playing with her hair.

"I love you Evans" lucy said as she caressed Evans bare chest but he acted deaf to it.

Diana's alarm clock rang out at exactly 6:00 am and luckily she got up from bed without hesitation all smiles.

She then said a little prayer and got up from bed. She then quickly went to the kitchen so she could prepare breakfast but met mom there already.

"Oh mom it seems like I never get to wake up ahead of you"Diana said pouting.

"Never baby" Lauren said smiling.

"Don't worry mom, very soon I will surprise you with breakfast" Diana said hugging Lauren from behind.

"The day you wake up before me I will know that you are no longer a child,but for now you are

my cute little darling" Lauren said as Diana rested her head on her shoulders.

Very soon we got done with breakfast and the whole mansion was filled with the aroma of the

ramen mom just finished cooking .

Diana went to her room to get prepared and by the time she was through and went

downstairs everyone was sitted for breakfast

"Morning dad, morning mom" Diana greeted sitting down.

"Morning darling,how was your night" Mr Jones asked.

"Isn't it obvious it was fine honey,just see the way she is glowing this morning" Lauren replied.

"It was fine, I am just having a good feeling that something good is gonna happen today" Diana said still smiling and the couple exchanged glances at themselves.

"Mom its been a while Diana smiled this way,I suspect she is trying to pull a prank on us" Stacy

said.

"No I think she soaked her bed so she is trying her best to appear pleasant to us" Jason said

laughing.

"One more word from you both and I will dig my fork in your tongues" Diana said fiercely bringing out her tongue.

"Yea Diana was right about something good happening soon" Lauren said as she brought out a

well decorated package and handed it over to me.

Diana slowly unwrapped the package and opened it to get a very big surprise.

"Oh no. Mom this is the florenzi's jeans, sweater, and crest dad won in an auction at Florida when I was thirteen but because I was little You promised to give it to me when I turned eighteen or nineteen" Diana said all smiles.

"It seems like my daughter's memory is still as accurate as ever" Mr Jones said smiling.

"Oh I love you mom. I love you dad" Diana said going to hug them one after the other.

"What about me mom"Stacy asked.

"And me too" Jason asked.

"When you both become matured enough to go on an auction with dad maybe you will be

considered" Diana said making faces at them.

"I know for sure that I am matured but I can't say the same about Stacy" Jason pouted.

"Yuck. Even our dog behaves more mature than you" Stacy fired back.

"I would rather live comfortably with the dog than live comfortably with you" Jason said.

"He has killed her this time around" Mr Jones smiled.

"No just wait for her comeback I trust Stacy" Diana said.

"You... I will rather be twins with the dog than be twins with you!" Stacy yelled.

"Hey!" Jason screamed obviously hurt.

"Did that hurt? Sorry" Stacy laughed.

"She killed him for sure this time" Mrs Jones said.

"That was a bit harsh though" Diana said placing a hand on her forehead then I checked the time and knew it was time to get going.

"Bye mom and dad. I love you twins" Diana said.

"We hate you!!" They screamed at the same time.

"Oops that was harsh" Diana said acting hurt.

"Whatever"they replied and ran inside.

Diana went back to her room and got changed into her pesents and hurried into the car.

"Good morning ma'am " Rogers greeted.

"Morning Rogers, let's get going" Diana replied.

"Roger that"he said and he smiled.

Few minutes later they arrived at Skyhigh and Diana felt proud putting on Florenzi outfits as she walked into the school.

Diana had not even reached the class when she got tripped by a student and fell down.

"Sorry" she said and went her way. standing up a basketball hit her head and she got dizzy with blood running down her nose.

Oh shit Diana then remembered what happened yesterday as she saw an inscription on the floor "DO NOT GO PAST HERE DIANA" but being who she was she passed it angrily.

"I told you she will fall for the trap based on her personality" Evans said from where he watched

with Chris and Evans.

No sooner had she passed it did another girl bump into her.

"Excuse me" Diana said and attempted to pass her but she was drawn back.

"I think i should be the one telling you to screw off" lucy said and landed a hot slap on her.

The girl turned out to be Lucy.

Oh no.Lucy is back. That's her new prey.

'That is payback for laying hands on Evans.

I kept hearing. I could not just let her have her way so I made to slap her back but she ducked and gum was poured on my hand.

'What are they up to now' Diana thought.

As if reading Diana's thought lucy said " nothing much". and left.

Diana followed her direction and saw her going to meet the skylords. However before she could turn she was pushed by a guy and hit a rope when she looked up she saw a bucket of ink splashing on her making her bend down quickly.

Diana looked at herself and the florenzi outfit she was putting on. She remembered how proud her dad looked when mom gave them to her. Mom and dad will be so disappointed in me Diana thought sitting on the ground with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

She looked at herself and her ruined cloths. What did I get myself into' Diana thought as she was in pains. What do I do. I am all surrounded and it seems like they are not through with me.

"OMG I thought blue hair will fit you better so I prepared this specially for you. So how do you

like the surprise" Lucy asked smiling.

Diana made to clean her face with her hands but Lucy matched her hands with her shoes and Diana felt pains.

"You should say your thanks, if I had allowed you to do that you would have had to go for a plastic surgery" Lucy said acting innocently.

"Get lost bitch!" Diana suddenly screamed making her startled.

"What. Did you just scream in my face".Lucy said and made to slap her again but a hand held her.

Diana looked up and it was Evans. She didn't know if to be thankful or mad at him,but one thing was sure he was the one responsible for all she was going through.

"Hello Diana"Evans said.

I looked up at the handsome devil who did not have an iota of remorse for what I was going

through and kept mute.

He held my jaw but i pushed his hand away and stood up.

"Get lost" Diana said.

"Wow,I love the attitude. I was thinking of letting you go if you apologized but it doesn't seem

plausible again" Evans replied.

"You were in the wrong so how do you expect me to apologize. Never ever" Diana replied fury blaring in her eyes but she was too weak to do anything now.

"Okay don't say I did not try to save you" Evans said.

Lucy came forward and drew Diana by her long hair and as Diana was already weak she could not retaliate but instead of falling down to experience another pain as Lucy let her go she fell into the arms of someone before she closed her eyes falling unconscious.
