Chapter 1 Prologue

Serenity POV

"I, Alexander Stone, Alpha of The Moon Stone Pack, reject you, Serenity Grace as my mate, and release all bonds that the Moon Goddess destined for each other."

Alexander's words instantly made me feel broken a thousand times over. This was the fate I had to have as a lowly omega. Never did I think that the only hope I had would also go and leave me alone now. No family, no friends, no mate, and no pack.

My whole body was trembling even more, with my palms clenched tightly. With the presence of two warriors standing beside me, while holding the chains that bound my wrists very firmly there. How low my self-esteem was right now in front of the entire Moon Stone Pack. Wearing only a long white dress that was slightly worn, and my long hair that was loose almost covered my entire face. I bowed deeply with a sense of compulsion, even though I never wanted to do that myself.

"And give you the punishment you so richly deserve for the betrayal you have committed against the pack, by trying to poison Vienna Jade's drink, and leaking important secrets belonging to The Moon Stone Pack, to the enemy pack. I, Alexander Stone, Alpha of The Moon Stone Pack... hereby make you, Serenity Grace, an omega chosen for the bride-giving ritual to the dragon."

"Wh-what?" I couldn't help myself from muttering fearfully in there.

With the remaining courage I had, I raised my head, and looked straight at Alexander who was standing right on his throne very proudly, along with Vienna who was sitting right beside him there. I could see very clearly, how Vienna was hiding her satisfied and sly smile, behind that weak expression that she had been showing all along. As for Alexander, he just looked at me with a haughty look that I couldn't escape.

"That's all a lie! I never committed that betrayal! It was a lie!!! Lies!!! I've never done anything wrong in my life!! Don't punish me for something I've never done!!!"

I don't know where I got the courage to shout so loudly in front of everyone now. All I knew was that I had the right to defend myself there.

"No rebuttal, traitor!" Alexander said loudly. Making me fall back into silence, and swallow my words of rebuttal once more there. Alexander's piercing eyes made me look even more like a criminal. But I'm not a criminal. I am not a criminal.

"I've never lied even once in my life! I'm not a criminal! I'm not a traitor! I don't deserve such a heinous punishment for something I've never done! I don't deserve that punishment! I'm not a traitor! I will never be a dragon's bride! I don't want to!"

Even so, I myself began to realize that no matter how loud my voice was, and how vigorously I struggled to get rid of the chains tied around my wrists, I would never be able to easily rid myself of those two warriors now. Even if I myself cried out, and thrashed there. I felt depressed, without a single person who could help me from this cruel fate right now.

"Alex... Seren is still intent on twisting the facts."

Vienna's voice instantly rang out there. I fell silent, with my breath coming in short gasps. I looked straight at Vienna who was starting to get up from her sitting position, and walked slowly with limping steps. Vienna was trying to look very weak now. In addition, Alexander himself also immediately moved closer to Vienna, and grasped both of Vienna's arms tightly there.

"I know that Seren really hates me for the closeness we have. Because after all, Seren is actually your mate, Alexander. She must have done all those things to keep me and you apart..." Vienna murmured again.

Listening to Vienna's weak, feigned mumbling, instantly made Alexander look back at me with a very sharp look in his eyes. And I knew what was going to happen next.

"I order you right now, take Serenity into the special room for the dragon bride ritual! Lock it up, and guard it very tightly. She must not be able to leave and escape from that room until the time of the ritual!"

I thought, this is already my unfortunate fate. I have no hope now. All the hopes that I dreamed of, are no longer in my favor. It's all over, along with Alexander's decision to hurt me.

I don't even know how to react now. I just fell silent, with my eyes already wet with tears that had been flowing down my face since before. My whole body that also felt very weak, and my legs that didn't seem to want to move, and remained rooted to the spot where I was standing. Until finally, I came to my senses, when the chains binding my wrists were pulled very tightly by the two warriors. They dragged me to be able to walk immediately following their long footsteps.

I looked down deeply again, when I felt the gazes of all the members of The Moon Stone Pack on me. I don't know what kind of gaze they were giving me. But I could feel their sharp betas, and their dislike for me now. For a mistake that I never made before. And why? Why is it that none of the people in this pack are willing to defend me, even though they know the truth? Why did they remain silent, and obey the words of Alexander, and Vienna? Why?

Did they all do that, because they were forced to? Or did they all treat me this way, because of my status as a lowly omega? But why me? Why did Alexander, my own mate, decide to reject me as his own mate, and choose to believe everything Vienna said? Why, after rejecting me, did Alexander decide to give me as an omega to be given in the bride-giving ritual for dragons?

My footsteps continued to drag as I left The Moon Stone Pack's hall. I did not dare to raise my head even a little, and show how weak I was right now, right in front of everyone here. Both my palms were clenched even tighter. I bit my lower lip, in order to hold back the sobs that I absolutely could not hold back on my own right now. I can't show them how broken I am right now.

"And I've decided!" Alexander's voice rang out again, even though I was on the outside of the hall now.

"I, Alexander Stone, Alpha of The Moon Stone Pack, adopt Vienna Jade as my mate, and also the future Luna for this Moon Stone Pack. I hope, all of you can treat Vienna with the utmost respect, as my mate, and also the future Luna of this pack."

Why? Why did Alexander betray me again like this? Alexander made Vienna his mate, and also the future Luna of The Moon Stone Pack.

Klek

"Now go inside, and stay quiet."

One of the warriors quickly pushed me into a small house located right in the backyard of the pack. This was the small house that was always used for the omegas who were chosen to become dragon brides. And now, I was inside this house. Waiting for the same fate as the omegas before me, as they waited for the dragon bride ritual to take place. The sound of chains clattering against the floor accompanied me. I paused, not wanting to turn my body to look at the two warriors who were still right at the front door of this house right now.

"If you still want to have a proper last supper, then just obey the orders given by Alpha Alexander. If you make one more mistake, then it is certain, that the ritual of giving the dragon bride, will be carried out much earlier than the usual time. And yes, you yourself even know about the consequences that you might get later, if you rebel." One of the other warriors also spoke up there.

"Hey, did you hear what we said?! Or are you actually starting to turn deaf?!"

"Never mind. Just let her be in this house. After all, there won't be anyone else who can help her from the ritual of giving a bride to the dragon. And yes, if there is someone else who will come and help her, then that person will also have a bad luck. Just like what happened in the past."

"Yes, yes... you do have a point. Never mind, let's just lock up this house, while waiting for the next order that might be given by Alpha."

Klek

I clenched my palms together again. This was all a mistake. Vienna's and Alexander's mistakes. But, I should be the one to get the punishment. This was not the justice I had wanted, and dreamed of. And why, should I be the bride for the dragon? Why does it have to be me? Why do Alexander and Vienna seem to have planned all of this, to get rid of me from The Moon Stone Pack? But what was their reason?

All these years I lived inside The Moon Stone Pack, I kept quiet, and said nothing, about the truth that Alexander was my mate. I obeyed every word, and also the threats given by Alexander, and also Vienna. That if I remained silent about the status that Alexander and I had, then Alexander would announce that I was his mate, in front of everyone in the pack. But in reality? It was all a lie. Alexander lied to me, and betrayed me.

Alexander and Vienna, they both used me to be sacrificed in the dragon bride ritual. Which should be, omegas who have not found their mate should be sacrificed in the ritual of giving a bride to the dragon. And me, I myself have found my own mate, since I was seventeen years old, and he is Alexander, the Alpha of The Moon Stone Pack. And at the age of twenty-one, I continued to hold on, in the hope that one day Alexander would recognize me as his mate. Ending in betrayal

"I can't cry, and just accept this." Quickly, I wiped my face that still felt moist, due to the tears that had already stopped flowing.

"In any case, I must be able to leave and escape from this place. The bride-giving ritual for the dragon, will be carried out within the next three days. I still have enough time to get out of this place. I don't want to end up tragically like the omegas before me. I don't want to die for giving offspring to the dragon. No, I don't. I don't want any of those things to happen. I must be able to leave."

I slowly observed the surroundings inside this small house. There was only a bed, a dressing table in the center of the room, and also a medium-sized window that was closed. I walked closer to the window that was there. Even so, I walked slowly, remembering that the chains that were still binding my wrists now, might make a noise later. The chains were quite long, and dangled right near my feet now.

I touched my palms to the window, and sure enough, it was locked. I carefully tried to find where the key was. I was sure that the window lock was very small, and would be very difficult to see easily. And yes, I found the window key right at the bottom of the window, and it was very small, compared to a normal window key. I turned my head towards the back, and observed the door of the house that was still closed very tightly. I let out my breath once again, this time, much longer. And I hoped that it would help me to calm myself down right now.

Quickly, I looked back at the window, which the small lock on the window had managed to open slowly. Vigorously, I pushed the window outwards, until I managed to open the window now. I immediately began to stick my head out the window, and looked at the situation around the house now. There were no warriors guarding the back of the house. And this was the only chance I had to get out of the ritual.

Slowly, I rested both my hands on the window, and lifted my body up there. The position of the window was quite high, making it a little difficult for me, as the dress I was wearing was also quite long, reaching close to my ankles. Although it was difficult, I tried to raise my entire body on the window, while grasping the remaining dangling chain very tightly, so as not to be able to make the slightest sound later. In the end, I was able to get out of the window, and sat there silently for a while.

Once again, I looked right at my surroundings, and made sure that my position was now safe enough, to be able to actually leave this Moon Stone Pack. After all, the position of this house was already right in the backyard section, so the secret exit used by the omegas was very close. I could utilize that door. The door that was always covered by leaves, and vines. I quickly made a small run toward the secret door, and exited the door.

Now, I was actually on the outside of The Moon Stone Pack. But, this was going to be a very long journey. Given that it was getting late, and the atmosphere of the outside of the pack was a very dense forest. I have never gone too far away from the pack so far. But now the destiny of my life must make me brave. Besides, I must not make others suspicious, especially with the chains still attached to me. I immediately ran away from The Moon Stone Pack.

Chapter 2 Escape 1

Serenity POV

I don't know how long I've been running through this forest area now. My breathing started to become labored, and my footsteps started to become slower. The worn-out dress I'm wearing is also getting more and more worn out with a lot of soil, water, and also mud that became one, and soiled this dress. The chains that I was still clutching very tightly in my palms. While hoping that no one else would be able to hear the jingling sound of the chain. Every now and then I stopped, and rested behind trees and large rocks. I had even crossed a stream, which signaled that I had entered another area of the forest. It also meant that I had entered another creature's territory.

Bruk

I fell quite hard onto the ground, with both my hands supporting my body so as not to actually lie on the ground right now. My breathing felt increasingly labored, and it felt almost impossible to breathe freely. The energy I had now was already drained. I thought, I can no longer continue this journey, with my energy almost depleted now. Unconsciously, I began to shed my tears silently. Perhaps, this is the destiny of my life that feels increasingly difficult, to be able to face on my own. After all, I never thought that my ordinary, quiet life would turn dark.

"Where else should I go now? I don't have much time to stay here all night. If those warriors realize that I've managed to escape, then they'll definitely report it to Alexander. And... it's certain that Alexander will send them all to go and look for me later. No... no... I don't want to go back into that pack, just to be used as a sacrifice in the dragon bride ritual. I don't want to be the dragon's bride. I must be strong... my journey still feels very long. So I can't give up..."

With the remaining strength I still had, I tried to get back up, even though my legs were shaking badly, and my head was throbbing, I tried to ignore it all. In the end, I forced myself to continue running deeper into the forest area in front of me now.

Instantly I was stopped by the beating of my heart which felt very fast now. The sound of dry leaves scraping instantly made me break out in a cold sweat. I don't know if that sound came from the warriors of The Moon Stone Pack, or if it came from the other immortals who also inhabit this forest now. Damn it. Why do all the troubles always come to me at times like this? Is it possible that in my previous life, I made such a big mistake, that even the Moon Goddess had a hand in giving me punishment in this life?

"Ughh... Ugh..."

Was that a coughing sound? Where did that sound actually come from? I'm sure there's someone injured in this forest. Gosh, don't think too much, Seren. I cursed myself for always overthinking everything. Slowly, I began to walk closer to the direction where the sound came from. Although, I'm not sure what that sound was exactly. It's just that, if I don't find out now, perhaps, I will continue to feel curious. Each of my footsteps continued to walk closer right towards a fairly large rock just to the south of there.

"Ughh... Ughh..."

The coughing sound came back from the direction of the rock. But now it sounded much slower than the first sound I heard. Subconsciously, I accelerated my footsteps to get closer to the boulder. I myself didn't even care about the jingling sound produced by the chains that were still tightly bound around my wrists right now. Until not long after, I stood right beside the boulder, and slowly, I peered right at the back of the boulder.

"Oh, my..." I muttered quickly, after noticing the presence of a man leaning weakly against the boulder.

I quickly approached the man, and realized that the man was not wearing any upper clothes, and was only wearing long cloth pants. Not only that, the man's upper body also bore many fresh wounds, including the blood that continued to flow from the wound there. I myself couldn't see clearly how the man's face looked right now. Because the man's hair was quite long, and it partially covered the man's face. But I could still slightly see that there was blood flowing from the direction of his face there. Instantly I reached out both my hands towards the man's face, and tried to pat him gently.

"Hey, are you okay? Please wake up..." I gently patted the man's face several times, and there was no response.

The man's brow furrowed, and began to grimace in pain once more. I could even feel how cold the man's skin was, and how warm the man's breath was. He was probably injured on the inside of his body by now. Given that there was still fresh blood flowing from that external wound of his right now. I don't know how much blood he has already lost, because of that wide gaping wound over there.

Without saying anything else, I quickly began to gather my strength again, and carried the man's body with my body. Although this man's body felt very large, it would be much easier to carry him, compared to dragging his body. After all, I didn't want to add new wounds to the man's body later.

It was a small stroke of luck when I discovered that there was a sizable cave nearby. I tightened my grip on this man's body, and walked slowly towards the cave there. Until not long after that, we both arrived at the inside of the cave. I slowly laid this man's body there. At that time, I could clearly see the man's face.

There was an elongated scar on the right side of his face. It looked like a sword cut, and it was probably very old. There was no pack identity on the man's body, so I had a little trouble ascertaining which pack this man was actually from. I sighed.

"Damn, I don't even know a special potion to be able to stop bleeding from a wound like this. So far, I've only made ordinary potions for ordinary pain. But this... this is a battle wound. And I have absolutely no idea what the right medicine is for that wound."

I sat right beside the man with a very anxious feeling. I didn't know how to properly help this man. If only I knew a special herb that could stop the bleeding, maybe this man's condition wouldn't be so severe. But as I recall, my mother had told me that only betel leaves could stop the bleeding. I thought I could look for that plant around this forest. Although it's dark, as a werewolf, I should be able to use my senses for that.

I instantly tore off a long section of the dress I was wearing, and used it to be able to cover the wound on the man's body now. Slowly, I sat the man's body down while making him lean against the cave wall, and I began to wrap the piece of my dress around the wound. Tying the piece of dress a little tightly, so as to really make the blood that was still coming out from inside the wound a little less.

"Please endure... I'll be back soon with some herbs..." I muttered.

Slowly, I laid the man's body back down, and started running out of the cave. Turning my gaze in all directions around the cave, I hoped that the warriors in The Moon Stone Pack hadn't noticed my departure from the pack at all. I started walking through the forest area around the cave, and hoped that I could quickly find the betel leaves there now. Although it was very difficult, in the end, I was able to find a creeping betel leaf plant, right near a small stream. Subconsciously, I smiled with a sense of relief at that.

My two hands immediately gathered quite a lot of betel leaves, and pounded the betel leaves using the stone that was inside the small stream right now. By pounding certain leaves, it can provide certain benefits to the body. After not pounding the betel leaves for too long until they were slightly soft, I decided to walk back toward the cave, with my left palm full of pounded betel leaves. The jingling of the chains on both of my wrists I no longer paid attention to, as this man's safety was in my hands. If I failed, I would feel even more useless in this life of mine now. I didn't want to feel like a failure again right now.

With the palm of my right hand, I untied the pieces of my dress from the wound on the man's body, while gently wiping away the remaining blood. "Ughh..." The man again grimaced in pain, to my slight surprise, as he moved his head. After that, I began to take the betel leaf mash inside my left palm little by little, and applied it to the wound on the man's body now.

Every now and then, I gave a little puff on the wound, so that when I applied the betel leaf mash there, the man wouldn't feel too much pain. Not long after that, the betel leaf mash inside my left palm finally ran out, and had completely covered every wound that was present and visible on the man's body now. That instantly made me feel more and more relieved, until unconsciously, I let out my breath there.

I began to change my sitting position, to leaning right against the cave wall, right beside the man lying comfortably now. I thought, the betel leaf mash that I gave earlier, had started to have a little effect on that man. I turned my gaze toward the outside of the cave. It was already very late, and I couldn't start a fire in this cave right now. If I insist on making a fire, perhaps, those warriors could find me in this cave. I don't want to return to The Moon Stone Pack. I don't want to be a bride for the dragon. No...

"I hope that morning will come soon. And I can get back on my way out of this forest. I will never let Alexander rule my life again."

I let out another slow breath, then turned my head towards the stranger who was still lying, and sleeping very peacefully right beside me right now. I guess, the betel leaf mash had really worked, making the wounds on the man's body start to dry up, and no longer bleed like before. I had succeeded, helping that stranger out of his emergency. I had succeeded in helping him. And that, instantly made me feel very relieved.

"You... should be able to survive until tomorrow morning, right? Although I have absolutely no idea about who you are, and where you actually came from... but if possible, you'll definitely be able to return to where you came from safely. As for me, I will also continue my journey that might... still feel very long. Since you are also still in a wounded state like this, let us both take care of each other tonight in this cave. I hope, you can recover quickly..."

I muttered unconsciously, as I felt a heavy drowsiness in both my eyelids right now. I yawned several times, and wanted to close my eyelids even tighter. I thought, I really should take my own time to rest for a while now. Tomorrow will be a very long journey for me to go through in this condition. Although I don't know where to go after tonight ends.

Many things are still a concern that I feel, and I don't want to lose this battle of my life's destiny now. Not with the coercive destiny carried out by the deception, manipulation, lies, and also the betrayal that Alexander had done together with Vienna. I will never let them win.

The cold, damp air in the entire interior of the cave couldn't help me resist sleepiness. Slowly, I raised my palms, and rubbed my face. Trying to bring a little warmth to the cold air. And in the end, I began to feel that I could no longer endure the sleepiness that I was feeling right now. Until, I decided to start lying down right next to the stranger, and hugged my legs tightly to warm myself up in the cave. I began to close my eyelids, and tried to fall asleep quickly now.

Chapter 3 Escape 2

Third POV

Two hours after Serenity's escape...

"It's already dinner time. Is there still no order from Alpha Alexander to feed the dragon's bride-to-be dinner?"

A warrior asked another warrior, who was also standing guard right in front of the small house where Serenity had previously been.

"Nothing yet... not even an omega has come here with food for the girl. Besides, it looks like the girl inside is also asleep. Given that she was about to become a dragon bride. She must still continue to feel shocked by the decision given by Alpha Alexander."

"If you think about it once more, the girl inside is actually the former mate of Alpha Alexander. An ordinary omega girl who fell victim to the selfishness of Miss Vienna. After all, everyone within The Moon Stone Pack is well aware of, and also familiar with, Miss Vienna's true nature."

"That's right. After all, there are many people who could never educate the attitude of that Miss Vienna. That woman is too arrogant, and also very rude. How could Alpha Alexander just give up his mate, for a woman like Miss Vienna."

The two warriors muttered to each other, talking about the situation that had occurred within The Moon Stone Pack earlier. The two warriors even shook their heads several times, feeling unable to bear, and also unable to comprehend, all the decisions made by their Alpha, Alexander.

"What... is it possible that Alpha Alexander gave up that omega girl as his mate just to be able to get and live together with Miss Vienna? But that's absolutely impossible to happen, isn't it? After all, from what I heard from the other omegas, that girl, Serenity, is living with the difficulties caused by Miss Vienna."

"What if in fact, Miss Vienna herself already knew about Serenity's true identity, as Alpha Alexander's mate? That could be a very strong reason, for all the attitude, and the burden that Miss Vienna has always put on Serenity. After all, if Serenity was not Alpha Alexander's mate, how could Miss Vienna continue to find fault with all the work Serenity did."

"Well... what you said does have a point as well. That could all possibly be a very strong reason for Miss Vienna. We all know how much obsession Miss Vienna has for Alpha Alexander, ever since she was appointed as the Alpha of The Moon Stone Pack. It is only natural that Miss Vienna would want to earn her place as Luna in this pack, and also side by side with Alpha Alexander."

The two warriors looked back at each other, with their facial expressions full of suspicion, and also annoyance simultaneously there. After all, almost all the residents of The Moon Stone Pack, could never like the existence of Vienna Jade in the pack. That is, Vienna Jade had always acted as if she had been Alexander's rightful mate, and also Luna of The Moon Stone Pack all along. Just because, the closeness between Alexander's two packs, as well as Vienna Jade, made that woman become big-headed, and obsessed.

"After all, it has been seen for a long time, that Miss Vienna seems to be eyeing Serenity, who is only an omega in The Moon Stone Pack. And yes, with the power possessed by Miss Vienna, of course, if she could do many things to Serenity. Without any hindrance. Or, the punishment that could be given by Alpha Alexander. And again, it seemed like everything that happened today was in accordance with Alpha Alexander's wishes. I feel like he knows everything."

"Excuse me..."

An omega, named Mia, and also Lea walked together approaching right towards the two warriors who had begun to fall silent there now. The two warriors even began to avert their eyes, in order to look right at Mia and Lea near them. Mia and Lea arrived carrying trays of food and drink in their hands.

"We brought food and drinks on Alpha Alexander's orders for Serenity. Can you help us open the door now?" Mia said softly to the two warriors there.

"Of course. Just a moment." One of the warriors, instantly took out the key to the door of the house from his pants pocket, then quickly unlocked the door now.

"Thank you..." Mia and Lea muttered simultaneously. The two of them quickly walked over right towards the door of the house that had been unlocked.

Klek

Lea opened the door of the house, and instantly widened her eyelids there. "Oh my!" Unconsciously, Lea exclaimed in shock, as she took a few steps backward. Mia, who was standing right behind Lea, immediately felt very curious about what Lea was seeing in the house. And when Mia began to peek into the interior of the house, she also gave the same surprised reaction as Lea earlier, not finding Serenity's presence inside the house right now. Meanwhile, the two warriors who were standing not far from Mia and Lea, began to feel curious, with a slight frown on their respective foreheads now.

"What's wrong?" The two warriors instantly asked simultaneously.

"That... that... Serenity... Seren... she's not inside. She's not there." Mia with her stammering speech began to speak with some difficulty, to the two warriors now. Hearing the thing that Mia had just said, instantly made the two warriors walk quickly to get closer to the house, and went straight into the house. And sure enough, the two warriors did not even find Serenity inside the house right now. One of the warriors even walked around the bed, and also the bathroom that was there. But the result was nil, he did not find Serenity's presence in either place. The other warrior, meanwhile, began to notice the curtains covering the windows in the house flying, due to the strong winds tonight. Quickly, the warrior began to approach right towards the window, and found that even the window had been opened slightly, and was large enough for Serenity's petite body to pass through.

"Damn! She must have escaped out of this window!" The warrior said loudly.

"Damn it! We need to get this news to Alpha Alexander immediately! Damn, she'll definitely get us both in very big trouble from Alpha Alexander now."

After that, the two warriors immediately ran very quickly into The Moon Stone Pack towards the room where Alexander was usually located. With their rapid footsteps, it instantly made the residents of The Moon Stone Pack who saw the two of them immediately wonder, and also feel very curious about what was going on now. Moreover, both of their faces looked very panicked and pale at the same time. It was certain that something very bad was happening in their pack.

"Alpha!"

One of the warriors immediately called Alexander's rank with the remnants of their breath that felt very tight now. Now the two warriors were right in front of Alexander's private room, with their breath coming in gasps.

Klek

"Where are your manners and courtesy to me, your Alpha? How dare you call me so disrespectful!"

Alexander who quickly opened the door to his room, immediately exclaimed very loudly, and scolded the two warriors now there. Alexander who came out from inside his private room wearing only ordinary trousers, and no upper garment instantly looked very sharply right at the two warriors in front of him right now.

"Forgive us, Alpha. We're both really sorry, and didn't mean to be disrespectful to you. However, a very bad situation has happened now."

One of the warriors instantly replied to Alexander's words. The two of them even simultaneously bowed their heads quite deeply, when they realized the presence of Vienna who was leisurely walking right towards Alexander, wearing only a thin nightgown, from the direction behind Alexander there now.

"What kind of bad situation is that?"

Alexander instantly wrinkled his forehead quite deeply. Even so, Alexander still took the time to turn his head and look at Vienna who was standing right beside him now. Before finally, Alexander looked right back at the two warriors in front of him.

"The... dragon's bride-to-be... Serenity Grace, has escaped, Alpha."

One sentence that instantly made Alexander, as well as Veinna look sharply, and very surprised right at the two warriors now. Even more so for Vienna, who hadn't expected Serenity to be able to escape from the special house for dragon brides so easily. Vienna even immediately turned her head towards Alexander who was still silent with a very hard expression on his face, holding back the strong emotions within himself.

"HOW COULD YOU GUYS BE CARELESS LIKE THAT?!!! THAT HOUSE COULD NEVER BE USED TO ESCAPE EASILY! EVEN THE DRAGON BRIDES WHO USED TO BE THERE, COULD NEVER ESCAPE SUCCESSFULLY! THEN HOW COME SEREN WAS ABLE TO GET OUT AND ESCAPE FROM INSIDE THAT HOUSE SO EASILY! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME, HUH?! DIDN'T I SAY TO GUARD EVERY CORNER OF THE HOUSE?!"

Alexander immediately rubbed his face very roughly. Alexander looked very frustrated with the bad situation that was happening inside The Moon Stone right now. "Now, take all available warriors to search for Serenity's whereabouts! She must still not be too far from this pack. Find her, or I'll rip the heads off all of you! Hurry!" Alexander shouted to the two warriors at once. Hearing the order, instantly made the two warriors run back towards the other warriors, to be able to immediately carry out the orders given by Alexander.

"DAMN!" Alexander shouted loudly again.

This time, Alexander with his hasty footsteps went back into his room, and put on his shirt that was lying on the floor with a very rough movement. As for Vienna, she with a look of worry on her face that the plan she had might fail with Serenity escaping now, quickly caught up with Alexander who was still wearing his shirt there.

"Alexander, how could this happen? How could Serenity easily escape from the house? The ritual for giving the bride to the dragon will begin in three days. It's even late, and it can be calculated to be two nights less. What if we can't find Serenity in this very short time now? What will we do and say to that cruel dragon?"

Vienna instantly muttered because of the panic that immediately attacked her. Listening to Vienna's words, instantly made Alexander turn his body and look very deeply right at Vienna there.

"Then I alone will make sure that I return with Serenity along with me. After all, that girl can never escape very far from this pack. It would be very easy to find that girl, with the special clothes that only traitors in this pack wear. After all, I can still smell her scent, right? Therefore, I will make sure to bring Serenity back in no time."

Alexander paused his words, and planted a brief kiss on Vienna's lips. "I'll be back. Don't worry. Everything will go according to our plan."

After saying all that, Alexander immediately walked out of the room with his footsteps that were fast and also hasty now. Vienna who saw Alexander's departure immediately wrinkled her face with a very displeased feeling. Even Vienna walked quickly while pressing every step of her two feet to be able to sit right on the bed. Vienna hit the bed hard with a very upset feeling. She really wanted to scream right now. But of course, Vienna couldn't. However, Vienna had to restrain herself, until Alexander, as well as the warriors returned to The Moon Stone Pack, along with Serenity later. Until then, Vienna felt she had to restrain herself.

"I will never allow you to win, Seren. You're just a lowly omega who doesn't deserve to be with Alexander. Alexander is mine. He belongs to me alone. No one else can have Alexander. Only I can have Alexander, and be his mate, as well as Luna in The Moon Stone Pack." Vienna muttered angrily there.

"I will make sure your life, will end immediately when that ugly dragon comes and takes you far away from this pack. After all, every dragon bride taken from a werewolf pack always ends up dead. Those ugly dragons only use omega werewolves to continue their bloodline. And after they get their offspring, why keep their mother, who is only a lowly omega in their own pack."

Vienna instantly fell silent, and paused her words there. Until not long after that, a smile full of cunning began to appear on Vienna's lips now. With both of Vienna's palms clenched so tightly, that they turned a reddish color. Vienna began to sharpen her eyes vengefully.

"I will not let you escape the ritual of giving a bride to that dragon, Serenity Grace. I will make sure that that ugly dragon will come and immediately take you away very far from The Moon Stone Pack. Until you yourself will never have a hope of escaping, and returning to this pack safely. You will die. Just like all the other dragon brides. This will be the life you deserve to have, Seren. A lowlife like you, never deserved to live a peaceful, happy life. Alexander has already rejected you as his mate, and made me his mate now. Soon, I will also become Luna of The Moon Stone Pack. And you... will end up dead as a dragon bloodline giver."

Vienna instantly burst out laughing very loudly, because of her own words now.
