Under the ray of the sun, there I was sitting on a bench licking an ice cream, relaxing and at the same time watching the beautiful view and also, figuring out some cool dance steps for my next show which will hold next week.

Oops, I totally forgot, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier.

My name is Jenny Wilson, the daughter of Mr Samuel and Mrs Alexa Wilson. I am from France, Paris but am recently living in New York with my grand parents. I am the only daughter and I also have a handsome brother –don't be jealous– named Jake, right now he's in California.

My parents are filthy rich but I am not proud I guess, I'm 17 years old, I'm a great dancer but am also good at singing. That's all you need to know about me for now.

Oh, that's what I call refreshment, nothing can spoil my day..... I said, my phone beeped after my statement.

I spoke too soon...I said as I picked up my phone to check my message

From Grand pa John

Jenny your parents called and you know how they get, they want you to spend the week with Paris with them, you'll have to go tomorrow.

That will be awesome, I can even do my next show in Paris, the city of love.

I screamed happily.

Thank God no one was here to see that.

Excitedly, I rushed home to prepare for my journey, but after that I had to tell my best friend Alice, the good news.

"Alice, Alice." I said as I knocked on her door.

"I'm coming." She said and immediately opened the door.

"Alice, you won't believe what just came up." I said excitedly.

"New dancing outfits?." She said teasingly.

"No teasing and you failed." I said.

"Jean, tell me already." She said impatiently.

"OK settle down." I paused. "I'm going to Paris tomorrow." I said almost screaming.

She was short of words to say, she froze.

"Ally, hey." I said snapping my fingers and she came back to life.

"That's great you always wanted to go there." She smiled.

"Yeah." I screamed.

I was so excited that I didn't notice her change in mood.

"But what about the show, I can't do it without you." she asked.

"The show is next week, I'll be back by then and besides it will be more fun if we do it in Paris." I giggled.

"I can help you pack your things if you want." She said.

"Don't worry, I have already packed." I said.

"Ok, see you tomorrow." She said as she walked me to the door.

"See you at the airport tomorrow." I said and left.

Monday morning, 6:00am

I can't believe am going to Paris today. I thought.

I gathered my stuffs and made way to Paris with my friends and grand parents beside me, they were all there to bade me goodbye, I guess I'll miss them a lot, especially Ally.

"It's not like am going to stay in Paris forever." I said jokingly, while my grandparents stared at each other strangely. I suspected something but decided to let it go, for now.

I was feeling excited and at the same time sad. They took turns to say their goodbyes to me, before I went on the plane.

My parents were at the airport when I arrived and I immediately rushed into their warm embrace. I was kinda expecting Jake to be here but he isn't, I missed them a lot.

Two guys carried my luggage and bags, I felt somehow uncomfortable because I was a little new in the rich world.

We entered a limousine and the driver took us to a large and fancy house with a lot of people, I think they are maid/ servants.

My grand pa always say that no matter the place or situation you are, don't train your self to be proud, well I guess that will be going to be hard to do now, but I'll try.

"It's huge." I said.

"It's our new house, well it's not that new, we have been living here for almost three years now." dad said.

"We thought that since you are going to live in Paris with us, you should be treated like the princess you are." mom said.

"What do you mean by live in Paris?" I ask.

"Your mother and I miss you a lot, when you turned five you left us to live with your grandparents, no visits only calls and we need you back Jenny." He said while mom was already in tears.

I don't know but my mom tears was so contagious that I started crying too, they hugged me tight, the only people missing in the picture are my brother and my best friend.

I decided to retire early to bed that day and relax.

Alice POV

"Getting dance steps are so hard." I said.

"But I thought that was Jenny's part." mom asked.

"Yeah, but she's not around and I need steps that can rhyme with my song." I said.

"Oh honey, I think you should get some rest." mom said.

"Mom, I miss her a lot." I said in tears.

"It's okay, she's just staying there for a week and then she'll be back." mom said trying to cheer me up.

"Thanks mom, I think I'll be going to my room now." I said.

I walked into my room and jumped on my bed with my face down. I was expecting a call from Jenny but I guess she forgot about me. I thought; just as if the universe answered me a call came in and it was from Jenny. I picked it up gladly.

"Jenny am happy you called." I said.

"I miss your voice." she said and we giggled.

"Me too, so when exactly will you be coming back." I asked.

"About that, I don't think I'll be coming back except for visits." she said.

"What do you mean?." I asked confused.

"I mean, I am going to live in Paris." She said.

What!

"Ally I know this is not what you expected but I have a solution."Jean said.

"And what's that?." I asked angrily.

"Am sorry, I know that you are mad at me but-"

"You can fix it, speak up." I yelled.

"What if you come and live in Paris with me." She said and I jumped happily for a few minutes.

"Ally!." she exclaimed.

"Sorry, I'll ask me parents and get back to you." I said happily.

"OK I hoping on seeing you." She said and hanged up.

Am so happy am finally going to Paris to live with my best friend but there is one problem, I need to ask my parents first, oh God help me.

Jenny Pov

I was on my bed lost in thought.

How I miss Ally, I know she might not come because of her parents, I hope that they approve.

I cried inwardly.

"Honey." Mom called as she walked into my room.

I was so engrossed with my thoughts that I didn't hear her until she tapped me lightly on my shoulder.

I flinched at the sudden feeling but I was glad when I saw my mom.

"Honey are you alright?."she asked worried.

I immediately faked a smile and nodded.

"I was just thinking about Paris, the outfits, concerts and some other things." I lied.

"I'm happy you like it here." She said with a beautiful smile.

"Gosh, she's beautiful, I know where I got my beauty from." I thought and chuckled which startled mom.

"I just thought of something funny that's all." I lied.

I haven't lied like this before, it feels really weird

"Jean." she said and sat close to me.

"Yes mom." I said.

"Your father and I are going to visit a business partner on Wednesday and we would love for you to come along." she said.

No way!!!

"But why, I can stay here with the maid, I'll be fine mom." I said.

"But someone's gonna be there too." she said.

"And who is that exactly." I asked curiously .

The door flunged open and guess who was there.

"Jake." I ran and jumped into his warm embrace, I missed him alot.

I didn't realise that I was crying till we disengaged from the hug.

"Why the tears?" he asked.

I was shocked at my sudden outburst of tears and I smiled, I knew what it was

"It's tears of joy." and hugged him and he spinned with me.

"Stop am getting dizzy." I almost yelled.

"I couldn't help myself, you've grown slot, I missed you so...so...so.."

"I get it." I cut in.

"So now will you go?" Mom asked.

"Yeah, I will." I said.

"That's my baby sis." he said teasingly.

"Hey, am not a baby, am already 17 and you need to respect me now." I spat.

"Oh 17, mom get ready to pack your bags cause someone here has a high shopping problem." He laughed.

I chased him round the house while mom laughed out her lungs.

He's back with his silly jokes, and, I caught him and gave him the beating of his life which he deserves.

We sat on the couch and devouring some delicious cookies while watching our favourite show.

Jake Pov

This is the best episode ever, it stands out. I ate some more cookies as I watched.

"Jake." I heard my name and turned to see it was Little Miss shopping calling me.

"Miss shopping what's it?" I asked teasingly.

"For the last time, my name isn't shopping." She said.

"Yeah, you are right, it's Miss shopping." I said and laughed.

"Am starting to get pissed." she said and stood up.

"Miss shopping get me a glass of water." I said and she shot me a glare while I Iaughed more.

"OK, I'll stop." I said honestly.

"Better." She said as she walked back to the couch.

"But continue tomorrow." I said trying to hold my laughter while she was foaming with anger.

"I'm leaving." She said and went up to her room.

I know my little sister, she can't stay mad at someone for long, she'll be back, she better because she need to take me to the mall and pay for everything I choose for myself.

I thought and chuckled and focused my attention back to the show.

Alice Pov

I hesitated as I knock on my parents door, I breathed in and walked in.

"Ally darling, what's wrong?" dad asked as he stands up.

"Am fine dad." I said.

"But you look pale, like you saw a ghost." Mom said worried.

I wish I did!!

"Dad, mum, I want to ask..well, tell you something." I said nervously.

"And what is that honey." Mom said.

I took a deep breath before I spat out my words.

"Dad and mum, I would love to go live in Paris with Jenny and visit you guys in summer time." I said whole they stood there in shock.

I hope they say yes!!!

Please, please say yes!

"Darling is this really what you want?" dad asked.

"Yes, dad." I replied.

"Alice please give us some time to think about it." Mom said.

"OK then, I'll be going to m..y r..o..o..m." I stammered.

When the hell did I become a stammerer.

I quickly ran upstairs to my room and banged the door behind me as tears fell from my eyes with the thought of my parents declining my request.

I wish they won't.

"Why are you crying?" I heard someone say, I looked up and saw my younger sister and brother, Josh and Jessica staring at me.

"What are you both doing here?" I asked and wiped my tears.

"The normal routine." Josh said as they ran to my arms and wrapped them selves around me.

Fast forward

Jenny Pov

The next day

"Eww." I said still sleeping.

"What's the hell is tickling me." I thought, opened my eyes and screamed what I saw.

"Jake!" I screamed and ran round the room with a dog chasing me, sadly, I tripped on a shoe and fell while the door rushed about to jump on me.

"I think it's gonna bite me." I said and closed my eyes in fear.

"Bye world." I said.

I practically waited for a few minutes expecting something but nothing happened, I slowly opened my eyes and gladly exhaled when I saw Jake holding the dog.

"Jake, thank you for saving me, I almost died." I said.

He stared at me awkwardly and started laughing which made him fall on my bed.

"Why are you laughing." I said.

"Oh, it's nothing." He said.

"Hmm, I don't trust you, get out of room and take your dog with you." I said already pissed.

"I'm not leaving until you apologize to Ben." He said still laughing.

"Who's Ben?" I asked confusedly.

"The dog." he said with laughter.

I joined the laughing club too.

"So you named this stinky, ugly beast Ben!" I said still laughing and he stopped and shot me a glare.

"I didn't know you had lost your sense of humor." I said still laughing.

I'm getting on his nerves

"That's not even funny." He said with a frown.

"It is to me." I said and pointed at him laughing.

"Whatever am out of here." He said and picked up he's so called dog Ben and left.

"Better." I yelled.

"That what you get for laughing at me." I said and went to the bathroom for a long bath.

"Good morning,what are we having for breakfast." I said.

Descending down the stairs like a princess which I am, I was wearing a yellow handles gown which was above my knee with a black scandal on my feet.

"Wow you look gorgeous Jean but you spoilt it a little with your choice of footwear." mom said.

"Yeah, yeah it's not like am going out or anything, I just decided to wear something free." I said and sat on my seat.

"Well, that shows your lack of fashion sense." Jake said rudely.

"Mom, Jake is getting on my nerves." I said.

"You have no nerve for me to get on." he said.

"Now you're getting me pissed." I said.

"If you wanted to use the toilet you could have just told me before you opened that mouth of yours." he yelled.

Now I knew he was pissed but I wasn't, I just wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine but it back fired I can't stop now, so I'll continue.

"Like I said you got no sense of humor." I said.

"Whatever." He yelled.

He went upstairs probably to his room while I started eating, I kinda felt like I was been watched, I slowly looked up and meet the intense gaze of my parents

Damn what now!!

"What?." I asked.

"You should apologize to him."

That statement cooked up the anger in me.

"No way, why the hell should I, firstly he pissed me off twice and I returned the favour so it's his fault not mine." I spat.

"Young Lady you go apologize to your elder brother now." dad said.

"For crying out loud he's just three years and some months older than me." I almost yelled.

"I've lost my appetite." I said and ran upstairs to my room.

I think I hurt his feelings and also disappointed my parents at the same time.

Am a mess, just five minutes apart and I already miss Jake.

I need to call Alice.

I dialled her number but it wasn't going through.

Can today get any worse.

Jake POV

I was playing zombie highway, who am I kidding I was listening to Jenny and my parents conversation.

I felt a little hurt by what jenny said, how could she, well she was right, I caused it firstly, am the one who suppose to show an example because am the eldest. But am not gonna apology, she's the one that will do that.

I dropped my phone and felt sleepy at that moment my door squeaked open.

"Who's there." I asked.

"It's jean." she said.

I knew it was that little brat, I can't stand her in my room right now.

"Get out." I yelled.

"Please just let me in." She said.

"No, get the hell out of my room." I yelled.
