At the parking lot.

'' Do you want some ice cream ''. A man asked a small girl holding his hands lovingly looking at him with a happy face.

'' Yes daddy '' the little girl answers as she swings left and right with a big smile plastered on her face.

" OK baby girl, wait for me here ". The man put the little girl on the bench, then left to get her some ice cream from the ice cream truck packed at the other side of the park, crossing over from a small road , he walked toward the ice cream truck.

" Good afternoon sir, what may I get you " A young man wearing a ice cream customised cloth asked.

" I will love to buy some ice cream " Sanas dad replied.

" Which flavor may you like and in what size ". The sale man asked.

" I will love a mix of matcha and vanilla and make the size a large cup for two ". Sanas dad said. " Ok sir " The sale man packs the ice cream in a large cup and two small disposable spoon in a small paper bag labeled with ice cream product.

" You have a nice taste sir " the man said as he hands over the goods to Sanas dad.

" Oh not really, my daughters favorite " Sanas dad said and smile, nodding at the sale man, he head back to the parking lot.

" Daddy " Sana runs over to her approaching dad and hugs him.

" i got your ice cream baby " Adam (Sanas dad) said wriggling the paper bag in his hand while smiling down at the small girl who wraps her tiny hands on his leg smiling big.

" Yay, ice cream " Sana said unwrapping her hands she moved back a little jumping up as well as clapping her hands.

" Sana loves daddy " Sana said.

" Daddy loves Sana too " Adam said reaching for her hand, held her hand and leads her to the bench.

Putting her on the bench facing him, he brought out the cup of ice cream from the paper bag, he open the cover, hand over a plastic spoon to Sana.

" thank you daddy ", Sana said smiling such that her eyes forms a crescent. " I love you more " Adam said and ruffles her hair. " dig in princess " he said.

" Ai master " Sana said as she scoop a large amount of ice cream from the cup into her mouth. " yum yum " she says with mouth full of ice cream.

Looking at his daughter eating happily with some ice cream smeared on her lips and cheek. " that is just the first bite ł he thoughts.

" do you love it ? " he asked smiling.

Raising her left hand up she gave him a thumb up " dad is the best " she said Nodding and smiling. " so are you, my princes " he said.

He also digs his spoon in the cup of ice cream and ate.

Later in the evening.

The father and daughter duo walks along the bridge, looking at the beautiful view of the ocean below and the yacht, ships and boats sailing on the ocean. " wow " Sana said pulling her dad towards the rails to have a better view of the scenario. " daddy " she looks up to her dad. " it is beautiful " she said. " yeah right, wanna see it better " Adam asked looking at Sana as she stood on her toes to get a better view. " yes, Sana will love to see it better " she said. Adam carries her up and place her on his neck setting her leg on his shoulders on both side, while holding her by her leg to balance her.

" Yeepy " Sana said clapping her hands together. " wow, those ships are beautiful, daddy look there are people in the ship. " She said pointing to the yacht.

" that's a yacht, princess " Adam said.

" oh really " she smiles, " they are beautiful " she said for the nth time.

" yes princess " he replied shaking his head as he realized that he is replying to the same sentence made by Sana for the nth time. The two watched the scenario for some time.

Finally at home.

Knock knock. " Who is it " They heard a old woman ask from inside.

" it is me, Adam, Mother " Adam said. " oh OK, I am coming " the old woman said. The sound of foot steps were heard, next the sound of locks unlocking. Opening the door wide for the duo. " Salam, welcome home " the old woman greets with a smile on her face.

" Salam, mother " Adam greets.

" Salam, grandma " Sana greets.

" how are you, my baby " the old woman greets Sana as she takes her from her father's wrap pulling her in a hug by carrying her up. " i am fine, grandma " she replied. " do you enjoy yourself " the old woman asked. " yes, we went to the park, I rode a horse, I ate ice cream......... " She rants on all their activities for the day.

Adam watches how the two talk about the day, he took off his shoes and moves to take off Sanas shoes and went towards his room, then to the wash room. He took off his clothes and stood under the shower.

Back at Sana and grandma side. " hmm I can see that you enjoyed yourself " grandma said as she looks at the little girl with a smile.

" very much, grandma, we even saw some yachts, ships and boats sailing on our way home. " she said. " wow, really " the old woman said.

" yes, and the ocean was so beautiful " she said. " I see ", the old woman smiles. " so have you eaten dinner out or not " the old woman asks as she rose her brow up and smile. " no grandma, we didn't have dinner yet, we couldn't because we love how delicious your food is " she said.

" wow really " the old woman asked.

" yes, grandmas food is the best " she said with both her thumbs up.

The old woman laughs " that's my princess ". She said.

" and that's my queen " Sana said bowing gently while smiling. The old woman hugs her " well then let me get you your food because I can hear your tummy crying for food ". the old woman said unwrapping her from her hug. " really " Sana said raising her top to look at her stomach. " but, I can't see any tears on it " she said.

The old woman laughs at her funny action. " magic, my dear, magic " the old woman said.

" wow, you know magic grandma " she asked as she follows the old woman towards the kitchen. " of course " the old woman smiles shaking her head as she was amazed by Sanas naiveness. " can you teach me, grandma " she asked again. " sure, " the old woman said.

" yay, I am happy, " she smiles .

" so grandma wha.... " she was cut off by her dad. " come on Sana, let go have a shower. " Adam tells her as he picked her from the floor and carries her in his arm.

" but.... " she was cut off again . " no buts, baby girl, give grandma a break, you can learn magic later now you need to wash up " Adam said.

" OK grandma, will you teach me next time. " Sana asked.

" sure princess, now go and wash up." the old woman said smiling at his son.

" OK next time then " sana said smiling as her father leads her to the room to refresh her.

After washing up. Adam wraps her in a large towel and wraps a small towel on her hair. He sits her on the bed facing him, moving to her wardrobe beside his, he opened it, bring out a pink underwear and a bunny pyjamas .

He walks back to the girl and dressed her up, he walks towards the bedside table and picked a hair dryer, he drys Sanas hair tenderly, while Sana plays with her hand.

After dressing the father and daughter duo prayed in the room, after praying they head to the dining room.

" wow chicken with salad and abalone with rice and stew, yummy " Sana smiles at her grandma. The old woman smiles

" your favorite " . Sana gave her a thumb up and walks towards the table, she climbs up on the chair and settle down , while Adam also sits with the two ladies.

" Alhamdulillah Allah for the food " Adam said. " thank you for cooking mother " Adam said to the old woman. " you are welcome " looking at the little girl who looks at the two for permission to eat.

" Dig in, princess " the old woman told her.

They all said " Bismillah " and start to eat. - - After dinner.

" Alhamdulillah, thank God, may Allah provide more." Adam prays after they are all done eating. " Amin " they all said together.

Adam stood up and packed the plates while Sana packed the cups just like every other day and the old woman cleans the table and folds the napkin on the tablet the center.

Sana heads back to the living room to sit with her grandma as they watch a movie while Adam wash the dishes in the kitchen. After washing the dishes, Adam brought some sliced pineapple in a plate and put it at the center table.

" night fruits " he said.

The old woman picked a slice and hand it to Sana. " there you go princess ".

" thank you grandma " Sana said as she take a bite. The old woman picks one for herself too. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - After a while. Adam carries the dozing Sana to the room. " time to sleep little princess " he said. " good night grandma " Sana whispers.

" good night my baby " the old woman said.

Adam carries her to the room and lays her down on the bed. After tucking her in the bed he sang her a lullaby.

" good night, I love you my princess ", he gave her a kiss on the head .

In a kingdom called Valerie, it is a place which is almost oblivious to the humans.

But still exist in the human world.

People visit this place but we're not aware of the creatures who walk among them.

In the dining hall.

King Sa'ad sat with his family on the dining table with many dishes served.

Butlers stood behind their masters as everyone have their personal Butler as well as maids.

The sounds of cutleries colliding with plates is heard as they eat.

" Emelda, I heard that you will be attending a night party at Queen Victorias palace. " king Sa'ad said while chewing on a piece of meat .

" yes, my lord " the queen Emelda said.

" hmm and I wasn't informed by my own wife " king Sa'ad said looking at the queen with his brow up.

The queen smirked. " You weren't giving me attention nor were you ever interested in my life for a while, so what cause the difference now. " the queen said returning the glare the king gives to her.

The atmosphere turns tense but no one speak nor move except for the two kids who sat on the table eating.

Hades and Zina, The two children of the king and queen of Valerie.

and Zina, female and the second child.

Clears his throat

After a while, king Sa'ad laughed coldly.

" are you trying to tell me that I have no right to ask. " king Sa'ad asked looking sharply at the queen who turns back to eat her food ignoring her husband.

" answer me!!! " the king roars as he bangs his hand on the table.

" l never said that " the queen said coldly as she smirks picking a napkin she wipes her mouth and stood up.

" I lost my appetite " she said heading out of the dining hall leaving the king as he groans in frustration.

Half way to the door.

" ah before I forget, Zina will be accompanying me too " she said turning back and opens the door, gets out and bang the door leaving a thunderous sound in the hall.

Opening the door again.

She stuck her head in a little. " ah that was the wind banging the door, forgive the bad etiquette, MY KING " she said stressing the word " my king " and finally left while laughing.

King Sa'ad look at the closed door and returns his gaze to the kids. " is it true that you are accompanying your mother to that party she said. " the king said looking at the girl who looks seven in age.

"damn it, this man sure knows how to make one loose their appetite" Zina thoughts.

" yes, father " Zina smiles as she replied then reached for the glass of juice as she took a sip.

" hmm, I see " the man said looking at the girl sharply.

He clears his throat again " then I will advice you to learn about the way ladies should act in a good manner at the party and not learn from your mother " the king said.

" yes father " Zina replied.

" good, you may continue to eat " the king said shifting to his son.

" and you, what is your plan for the day " he asked Hades.

" nothing " Hades simply answer.

The king paused and looked closely at His son who has a blank looks while he continues eating.

" and why do you have nothing to do " the king questioned.

" nothing " Hades answered again.

The king closed his eyes in frustration as he breathes heavily.

" OK, then you shall be accompanying me to the Wovile Council. " the king said.

" OK " Hades answered again.

The king looks at him again and nods. " good " the king continues his meal.

After a while.

" excuse me, I am done with eating, allow me to prepare for the upcoming night party " Zina said as she stood up and bows a little to the king.

" hmm " the king hmms.

Zina head out of the dining hall and went up the stairs to her room.

Back in the dining hall.

After a while the king wipes his mouth with the napkin and looks at his son who keeps eating.

" don't you think you are eating too much " the king said glaring at his son.

Hades smile as he takes another bite from the food.

" NO " he said as he chew.

" And why do you think you are not " the king asked.

" nothing " Hades replied again blankly.

" Aren't you being disrespectful " the king said in frustration.

" my apologies " Hades said while he smirks.

" your apology is rude and I can't.............. " The king was cut off.

" Excuse me " Hades said as he stood up from the dining table and use the napkin to wipe his mouth while standing looking at his father. Averting his gaze, he grabbed an apple from the middle of the table and heads out.

The king is finally left alone in the dining hall exuding a chilling vibe which makes the room temperature to drop drastically.

" you people, must have been happy lately and forming a good family cycle. " king sa'ad said as he entwined his hand and place it under his cheek and smile devilishly.

" it is only a matter of time before I wrap you all within my palm. " he picks his cutleries and feed on the meat which was finely cooked in the plate.

At Sanas house

The next day At about 6;30 am.

In Adams room.

The sound of the door opening is heard allowing the rays of light from the passage to fill in half of the room.

Sana walks towards the bedside and climbs up, after successfully getting on top of the bed.

She squeezed herself into her father embrace.

" Daddy, wake up " she said using her hand to squeeze her father's cheek.

" argh " Adam groans.

" come on dad " she said squeezing his cheeks again.

" you naughty pumpkin " he said rolling them both on the bed, laying her beneath him as he tickles her. She laughs.

" ah grandma, save me " she screams.

The old woman enters the room and scolds the two.

" stop playing, you two, it is time for prayer " the old woman said and walks towards the two carries Sana and heads out.

Adam watched the two ladies of the house walk out of his room and smile, running his palm on his face, he walks into the bathroom and brushed his teeth, wash his face, then performs ablution.

He heads out of the bathroom and get dressed to pray, he joins the two ladies at the prayer room.

The two ladies wearing a gown and a hijab to cover their hair.

Adam leads the prayer.

After prayer.

Grandma heads to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, while Adam cleans the house with the help of Sana who do the little things.

After the cleaning, Adam carries Sana to the bathroom to wash her up and dress her for school.

" Breakfast is ready " the old woman calls out to the two.

Adam leads Sana to the dining table which was served with toasts, pancakes, honey, water, warm milk and coffee.

They prayed before eating.

After prayer.

" Bismillah, everyone dig in " the old woman said. Sana served herself some pancakes and pour a little amount of honey on it.

Taking a sip from the warm milk.

Adam served himself with toasts and coffee while grandma served herself with toasts and milk too.

" have you packed Sanas books into her backpack " grandma asked Adam.

" yes I have " Adam replies as he takes a bite from his toast, watch as Sana use fork to pierce a small part of the pancake smeared with honey , place it in her mouth and close her eyes to savour the taste .

After breakfast.

Grandma packs Sanas lunch box while Adam cleans the table.

The school bus honks for signal of its arrival.

Grandma takes Sana out , hand her the lunch box and escorts her to the bus.

Once in the bus, grandma waves to Sana and told her to make sure to eat. Sana nods as she smile at her grandma and wave at her too.

The bus takes it leave.

Picking other kids, Sana met her friends who were also picked by the bus as they chat away all through the ride to school.

Sana settled along with her friends in her class as their teacher teach them some new things such as poet, letters and so on.

Adam side.

Adam sat on the chair at the balcony at his room with a laptop on the table in front of him as he works and eats some small chops placed on the table in a plate beside him .

Grandma enters with a man dressed in a well tailored tuxedo.

Son, you have a visitor.

" Master " the man addresses.

Adam stopped typing on the laptop as he smells the scent of his werewolf pack.

King Sa'ad walks into the dining hall and paused on his step when he noticed something wrong.

He faced his Butler.

" where is Emelda and Zina " the king asked.

" I contacted their Butler, my Lord and he said they won't be coming home last night until this evening " the Butler said as he bow his head low.

" What nonsense and when we're they contacted " the king asked as he gave the Butler a cold glare.

" last night, your majesty " the Butler said while fidgeting.

The king sized up the Butler up and down with his eyes , then walks towards the table, he settled down and stares at his son, who looks refresh from a moment ago when they arrived from the Wovile Council.

After a while of king sa'ad stare, Hades finally look at him as he paused his actions and greets him.

" Good morning, father " he said averting his gaze and continues to eat.

" hmm and what took you long to do that " the king asked.

Hades smirks and said " I greeted you this morning when we both prayed at the masjid ".

" oh really " the king said.

" yes " he said and take more food into his mouth.

The king smiles and eats his food.

Silence filled the hall.

After a while.

A old man wearing a tailcoat just like all other butlers enters the dining hall and bows to the two men sitting comfortable eating.

" sire it is time for your lessons " the old man said.

" old man as you can see, I am busy eating " Hades said as he put a steak into his mouth and chew.

" then I shall wait for you, my Lord " the old man said.

" no Marcos, you need not stay, take him with you now " the king said to the old man.

Dropping his fork on the plate causing the sound to reverberate in the silent hall.

" I am sorry father, but you have no right to order my servant " Hades said staring coldly, straight ahead of him.

Every Butler and maids held their breath along with Marcos a second after Hades speech.
