The kingdom, the Alphaeus pack....silent like a graveyard. "Lucius, you can't run away from your duties." Alpha Goan said, looking straight at his son in the eye, he didn't understand why his son has bluntly refused to succeed him.
Prince Lucius scoffed, ruffling his hair roughly, "I've told you father, I don't wanna be Alpha." He replied coldly, refusing to accept the Alpha title,
His mother, Luna Howell sighed softly and tiredly. "Lucius, please listen to your father. It's not just a title that can be given to anybody, it runs in the blood for generations." She coaxed him,
He wasn't even listening as he stuck his hands into his pockets. "Please, son." She begged him as there was no one except him as their son to take up the next Alpha position,
He scoffed again, glaring at his father. "Father, I've said it that I don't wanna be Alpha." He replied sharply, refusing to accept his mother's pleas and coaxing, not even his father's convincement,
The Alpha stood up immediately. "You will do my bidding as long as I am your father!" He said sternly, Prince Lucius rolled his eyes and walked out of the room. "Freedma, give me my mask." He instructed,
The young black with white striped haired man hurriedly came to him and handed him a gold mask which he took, he hcovered his face Immediately.

IN THE DONNER'S PACK ✓
Princess Reda, the second Princess and Luna Disella, her mother, the second Queen, were sitting beside Luna Iritt, the baby Queen, "Please, eat my queen." Princess Reda opened the plate on the table.
Luna Iritt just kept nodding her head like she was rocking a baby as she sighed every now and then, her mind and head was filled with different thoughts,
Luna Disella tried too but it all proved abortive as she refused to eat, her eyes were all red and swollen - they didn't know how they were going to convince her to eat, after three days.
They both sighed, Princess Faricenda, her daughter, also shared her stubbornness from her mother's blood but they couldn't blame her too as her only child was locked up in the death room.

IN THE DUNGEON✓
The second day in the dungeon and it looked like life has been drawn fully out of her as she coughed out blood - The second day punishment was the draining of internal energy from the supernatural; vampires, werewolves, witches, any supernatural at all.
The punishment was worse since she wasn't supernatural, she was not a werewolf. "Arhhhhhh!...." The pain was too much as her body burned greatly as if it were on fire - internal heat.
She fell on her face for the ninth time since the change of punishment began. Her eyes were all red from crying and not having enough sleep, damn Alpha Sahin for this!
But she wasn't going to give up, she walked to the gate. It was almost midnight now and she could feel her body changing, another day for another punishment.
Tomorrow might be her death day, she has to escape but how can she when shackles and iron bars are debarring her? - It's been three days since she had last seen the bright sun, her body itched for a good bath, she was with no food and no water, her body shook greatly due to weakness and tiredness.
Her eyes were threatening to close but she couldn't sleep as another punishment was waiting for her, just for her to open the door to it.
Her mind wandered off to her mother, how was she faring? Tears dropped out of her eyes in tiny drops, tired of crying every single time.
Reda and her friends, they will all be worried sick about her now but what could she do? It just seemed like death was already planned for her on this day - The scenario of the transformation ceremony suddenly began to play in her head as she remembered every devastating thing that happened that night.
Her teeth grinded together in hatred and anger, she was angry at everyone especially her father, woe to you Alpha Sahin!
Her eyes were flickering slowly into a blue golden one and she wasn't aware that she had gripped the iron bars which Dama held hours ago that caused her injuries.
She was so angry, hatred burning inside of her just by thinking about when her father ordered for her to be thrown into the upper room, the darkest dungeon.
She suddenly screamed; fear of death, frustration, anger, pain, flames of hatred burning inside of her and even wanting to consume her.
She couldn't take all the emotions that were running through her veins, her blood boiled for revenge! She tore the hem of her long gown and it turned into a very short one.
Her head was hot and blank from thinking, her eyes were red from crying, her body ached for food and sleep. Her father was so wicked to have left her here for three days straight without food, water or sleep.
She thought that after she had used up a day, he would order them to take her out but he didn't. If he could do this to his own daughter, his blood then how would he treat outsiders?
She was still holding the bars of iron but something was different. Her lips were very dry and her throat ached for something, something different but sweet.
Her eyes maintained the blue gold color, filled with hunger for blood! Suddenly, she screamed, her body started shaking vigorously that she found it hard to control or resist it.
She didn't know she was growling, biting her lips in the process as she bent her head to the bars, screaming so loud holding the bars with all her might as a support, it seemed.
The gates were shrinking together as if being folded by a giant man with hefty powers but she couldn't feel any pain, neither from the electric shock the iron gave or the pain from the silver that was laced on it.
She smirked when she succeeded in folding it as it made a very big hole and she bent, coming out from the shackles.
She was becoming very weak, weaker than she had ever been. She crawled towards the opposite way that led to the outside of the palace as she could hear the sound of the footsteps of the bodyguards.
She dragged herself up with that last strength in her as she approached the palace gates. She gasped when she saw so many bodyguards at the gate but smiled when she sighted a maid, one of which liked to bathe her.
The maid was sweeping the garden, she felt bad for her as it was midnight and she was still working, she'll still wake up by 4am in the morning to start another round of chores.
She dragged the maid to a corner when she was sure none of the guards were looking. She covered her mouth tightly when the maid tried to scream, "Hushh!!!!" Princess Faricenda shook her head covering her mouth. "My princess?" The maid whimpered. "It's me, Hanna!" The Princess smiled weakly.
Hanna began to cry like a baby and Princess Faricenda hushed her to stop crying. "How did...did you...?" Hanna wanted to ask. "I don't know it myself, it's a long story." She replied.
"Thank goodness, people thought you would have died in the dungeon but now, you are alive, the Queen will be very happy to see you." Hanna said, "I need to get out of here." She heaved a sigh. "But how? Your mother needs you." Hanna says. "I know, I know." Princess Faricenda's face went dull upon mentioning her mother, the Queen didnt deserve it.
Princess Faricenda shook her head and gripped Hanna's shoulder fiercely. "I don't....have the time now! The guards will soon find out that I have escaped and my life will be at stake when it involves King Sahin." She grinded her teeth.
Hanna nodded sadly, feeling sorry for the Princess. She looked so weak, tired and hungry and her...eyes! "I need you to help me eradicate those guards." Princsss Faricenda cut her thoughts off.
Hanna looked back and shuddered. "How? There are so many of them!" She whimpered. "Remember you told me about learning herbs?" She asked and Hanna nodded.
"I need you to remember and search your room, there would be a sleeping herb in which when they inhale it, they will sleep off." She smiled and Hanna nodded quickly.
Princess Faricenda sighed in relief. "Sneak into your room and help me get it just like you sneak into my room to take food." She said and Hanna gasped covering her mouth, "I'm sorry for stealing, I thought you were asleep." She apologized. "Never mind, I'd never add to people's hunger so it's nothing." Princess Faricenda smiled and Hanna nodded.
Hanna rushed out of the place and when a guard wanted to look, she hid again. She did the same thing till she entered her room. She quickly picked the leaves and mashed it together in a small mortar till it became dust, she poured it into a small container. "Done!" She whispered when she got back to the Princess.
Princess Faricenda peeped and smiled in satisfaction seeing all of the guards at the entrance of the gate all slept off. "There's a problem my Princess." Hanna said.
"I saw some guards hurrying into the king's chamber and I think they went to inform the king that you are already missing and I searched the sleeping guard's pockets, but I couldn't find the gate keys!" She said,
Princess Faricenda gasped. What to do? What to do? "Don't worry about me, you can go." She said and Hanna felt reluctant, "When I successfully get outside the palace, find me in school after two days. Go!!" Princess Faricenda pushed her, smiling sadly and Hanna cried before she ran away.
The other guards were coming closer to the throne room, the entrance to come out of the palace before the palace gate. It's now or never! Princess Faricenda ran out with her bare legs, her bare shoulder and her scattered hair. A wave of strength running through her veins, she climbed on the palace wall!
"Get her!!" One of the guards shouted and they ran at a very fast pace towards the wall. Princess Faricenda's hands was shaking as she climbed with the support of her legs.
She smiled tiredly as her hands touched the end of the wall, she didn't know the palace walls was so tall. The guards positioned bows and arrows, wanting to shoot at her.
She was so weak, looking down at the other side of the wall - her heart gave three leaps in fear, it's so far down there! She shuddered, she would definitely break her bones if she doesn't plan how to jump down,
She looked back and gasped at them, they really wanted to shoot her. "Fire!!" She was shocked when she heard the King's order and without wasting any more seconds, she jumped down to the other side.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The King entered into the living room, his eyes blazing like fire, "What kind of daughter is she?" He muttered, pacing in the room angrily as he remembered how she climbed those high walls - she is indeed strong.
The news of the third baby princess escaping the dungeon travelled round the Donner's pack in just two hours and it was still midnight!
Queen Iritt rushed into the living room in her night gown as she looked around, all the remaining family had gathered too. "Is...is the news true?" She whispered.
Princess Reda and her mother stood close to her, holding her when she wanted to fall upon seeing the reactions of others that the news of her daughter had gone missing.
She gasped slowly; She survived...Ceri survived! - She smiled in between tears as she prayed in her heart because of the history of people dying in the upper room that they never survived,
Luna Disella rubbed Luna Iritt's back, slowly patting her as she could feel that she was already weak, she hadn't eaten since three days ago.
Luna Luciana scoffed. "She couldn't have gotten far..." She said and Luna Disella gasped while Luna Iritt glared at her surprisingly.
The Alpha hit his foot on the floor angrily, "Guards!! Search for her in the whole pack, track her scent and footprints, bring her back at all costs." He ordered, obliging to what the first Luna, Luna Luciana.
Luna Iritt threw herself on the floor immediately, crying profusely, "My King, please, she is just a kid...let her go, at least she won't cause trouble for you." She begged,
The Alpha stood up and threw his face away, walking away as if it wasn't someone that was talking, "My husband, I beg you...she is my only child." She crawled to grab his leg,
Before her hands could grip his feet, he shoved her away so that she landed a few centimeters away from him and she laid there weakly. She looked at him slowly, her teary eyes searched his eyes for warmth but could only see hatred, it was void of any sweet emotions.
He wasn't like this, he was never like this. "It's better she is thrown back into the dungeon, she really has no respect for this family!" Luna Luciana spat. Princess Lahore, her daughter, smiled while Prince Henkel, her son, scoffed - He wasn't interested in whatever problem they have. "Mother, we will be starting our examination soon." She clung to her mother.
Luna Iritt listened to all they were saying but she didn't move. "Is this the time to talk about examinations?" Princess Reda couldn't help but retort back and Princess Lahore glared at her, "Is it wrong for my child to inform me about what is happening in her school?" Luna Luciana fired back.
Princess Reda hissed and went to crouch beside Luna Iritt. "If you don't know what to talk about or when to talk, it's better you keep quiet!" Luna Disella said to Princess Lahore.
Luna Luciana scoffed, it was the first time Queen Disella would talk back, "And stop poking your nose at everything or giving lame advice, you won't know when it'll explode and take you along." She referred to the mother.
She assisted Reda in pulling Luna Iritt up and walked her to her room while Princess Lahore and her mother glared at them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ••••••••••••••••• ~~~~~~~~~~~
She could hear them running after her as she doubled her weak strength in running all through the forest. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" She cussed as she fell on a stone. Her knee bleeding, she continued to run: don't they get tired? She continued looking back and continued running deeper into the forest.
She suddenly stopped, something clicking in her head. They have been running after her in just one lane and she knew the type of guards her father sent, they follow footprints and scent.
She cut a long leaf from a long branch and tied it around her bleeding knee as she hoped the blood would stop, then she turned eastwards and started running. She ran for about ten minutes and turned northwards again, running for the same minutes then, she hid behind a fig tree - it would mask her scent.
She could see the guards stop as two of them crunched to inspect her footprints; she smirked at their silliness, she had intertwined her footprints by running north, east, west and south of the forest.
They'd never get where she headed with the way she beat them against it. "What will the king say?" She could hear one of them say, "We'd talk about what happened, simple!" Another replied harshly. "And you think he won't be so angry to have your head cut off if we can't find the Princess?" The first fired back.
The second scoffed, it seemed they were the heads of the guards. After little arguments, they headed back and she breathed out in relief, feeling intense pain on her legs.
••••••••••••
He fixed his golden mask on his face tightly and headed into the woods. "Your highness, you wouldn't listen to your father?" Freedma asked as the Prince wanted to clear his head of his parents voices convincing him in his head,
He scoffed in response. "I don't like to be an Alpha." He stated and urged them to walk faster. "But your hig-" He wanted to say. "Save the topic for another day!" Prince Lucius cut him off.
Prince Lucius suddenly stopped and raised his hand for Freedma to stop too but Freedma stepped forward to confront any enemy as he is the crown prince's closest bodyguard - he would defend the attack before it gets to the Prince.
Prince Lucius pointed towards a direction and they relaxed to be able to hear any slight sound. Prince Lucius was surprised to hear footsteps, plenty of footsteps running in the dark night.
He made Freedma withdraw as they hid slowly behind tall trees. "A girl..." He muttered as he watched the way she ran, she seemed weak but she still ran as if she had enough strength.
He wanted to go help her but Freedma stopped him by pointing forward and the Prince gasped seeing guards, twenty of them chasing after a young girl.
He wanted to go help again when he saw her fall and hurt her knee but Freedma stopped him again, looking at his eyes - sending him a mind link,
Prince Lucius understood Immediately and stayed low, watching the drama unfold. He wanted to confirm what Freedma communicated to him if it was true. It almost looked like his heartbeat stopped when she suddenly stopped and headed eastwards, he smiled when he saw turned northwards and westward again.
He was now believing what Freedma told him - For a very young girl to run into the forest by 2am in the midnight, she could definitely save herself from trouble.
He smirked seeing that she succeeded in confusing them but the smirk disappeared when he couldn't find her again. Where did she go?
She winced at removing the leaf from the wound, "It's already infected..." She stood up immediately when she heard a male's voice but she couldn't even see the person as it was still very dark.
She stood behind the tree, groaning in pain, "Who are you?" She asked and she almost jumped when she saw a wolf but didn't know what color it was.
She hurriedly took a stick as a weapon of defense, her knees were hurting so much but she couldn't afford for her to be taken back into that palace - who knows if King Sahin sent someone as the wolf to bring her back?
He had transformed into a wolf when she growled at him before Freedma could stop him, of course, the crown Prince is known to be always impatient but he has forgotten he would scare the girl, make her afraid.
The wolf limped closer to her as if wanting to land on her and she unconsciously threw the stick away and growled at him fiercely and loudly, he was surprised and wanted to transform back to human but stopped when he saw her eyes,
Unconsciously, her eyes changed sharply to a deep blue one with specks of gold surrounding the balls and he gasped, the eyes looked so beautiful...he felt attached to her beautiful eyes, how many colors does it have again?
A sudden wind out of nowhere, threw him and his back hit a tree which had a very rough bark as she growled, her eyes showing speckles of gold which shone directly into his eyes, through the gold mask and he fell roughly to the ground.
A sudden wind threw him and his back hit a tree which had a very rough bark as she growled; her eyes showing speckles of gold shone directly into his eyes, through the mask and he fell roughly to the ground.
Being shocked was an understatement, he was speechless. How could a mere girl hit him this way? He growled as his wolf stood up slowly. Freedma at the other side of the forest could sense that the Prince was angry; with a twist of his fingers, the mask on Lucius face was removed immediately.
The wolf didn't even bother at all as his eyes changed to a red one, he was unaware that he had become an Alpha right in the forest!
Prince Faricenda shook involuntarily, the punishments she had endured in that God forsaking upper room, the dungeon's punishment was taking a dangerous turn on her body.
She staggered, her whole body screamed in pain as she shook on her feet but she could clearly see the wolf's red eyes; he is an Alpha!
The Alpha wolf growled fiercely at her, walking towards her slowly. Princess Faricenda was becoming very weak, her eyes grew cold as it kept opening and closing on its own.
The wolf charged towards her, maybe this was the end of her life even after escaping from the dungeon. Which is better, escaping from the dungeon or dieing by the hands of a strange and unknown Alpha?
She was tired, in pain and agony. Her eyes finally closed when she caught the last glance of the Alpha wolf almost landing on her, she lost her consciousness.
IN THE ALPHAEUS PACK ✓
The Pack doctor entered into one of the visitor's rooms with a big sack bag hanging over his shoulder. "What exactly is wrong with her?" Prince Lucius asked,
The pack doctor didn't reply immediately as he looked at the wounds on her body. "She's in terrible danger." He sighed. "What do you mean?" Luna Howell asked,
The physician walked to and fro the bed where Princess Faricenda was laid. "There are silver linings in all parts of her body without excluding a part." He said,
Prince Lucius hissed, who the hell could infuse silver into her body? "But it is not supposed to react in her body right?" Luna Howell asked, looking at her son.
Prince Lucius quickly nodded, "She is not a werewolf." He glanced at her, "Silver doesn't react much in a normal human body just like a gun bullet but she is very wounded." The physician said,
Luna Howell went to sit beside the unconscious Faricenda. "Each dot of her body represents a silver in that particular part of her body." The physician states.
Luna Howell removed her hand from inside the duvet and gasped, she could see six dots on just her left hand. Who could be so cruel to do this to a young girl?
She placed her hand back, "How did so many silver get shot into her body?" The Luna asked, "It wasn't shot, it was diffused into her body." The physician replied, countering what she said.
Prince Lucius ruffled his hair, "There is something called the upper bars, the bars of silver. If I could guess right, she held the bars of silver for a very long time which made tiny silvers disengaged into her body." The physician explained.
They all sighed, "How do we remove it, Azalea?" Prince Lucius asked, "It can't be removed, she will die with so much cutting on her body accompanied with the pain silver causes in a werewolf." Azalea chuckled.
"But she is not a werewolf!" The Prince argued, "I don't believe in that, my Prince." Azalea replied. "What do we do to save her?" The Luna asked.
Azalea sighed and opened his sack bag. "This is an ointment to apply on the dots, it will only make the dots disappear. These are tablets that will make more than half of the silver melt out of her body." He gave it to the queen.
"But there is something with all the silver in her body, I'm afraid that it can't melt all at once." He said, "And why is that?" Prince Lucius asked.
He went over to her again and showed them a lump at the back of her right ear. "Some of the silver has entered into her vital organs and will take a long time to melt." He said.
Prince Lucius was getting tired of the boring talk, he should give the medicine and leave, "When will she wake up?" He needed to ask her some questions.
Azalea sighed softly, "I don't know, whenever she will wake up depends on her fate and how strong she is." He replied.
No one uttered any word, the physician carried his sack bag and exited the room. "Where did you say you saw her again?" Luna Howell asked.
Prince Lucius almost rolled his eyes, she had asked this same question over eight times today, "In the forest mother." He replied.
She looked at the dots on her hands again. "Did you see or find anything weird before she went unconscious?" She asked, without looking at him.
He stood up slowly. "There were some armed guards chasing after her and she beat them all by taking them round in a circlic direction in the forest." He explained.
She looked at him. "Did you see what type of uniform they were putting on?" She asked. "It looked somehow like a grey color." He said.
She gasped and stood up immediately. "The girl cannot stay here!" She said and he looked at her. "Why? I thought you wanted for her to heal at all cost?" He asked.
She shook her head negatively, pacing round the room. "That is not possible anymore, those are the Donner's pack! We are sworn enemies." She said,
He scoffed and stuck his hands into his pocket. "And how does that concern us? What if she is not their Alpha's daughter, maybe some commoner?" He asked.
She shook her head again and opened the duvet, "Mother!!" He shrieked facing the other side so as not to see Faricenda's open laps and shoulders.
She pulled him closer to the bed. "Did you see that??" She pointed and he stepped back, one reason breathing in relief it was only her upper part opened.
Just on her right shoulder was a wide mark that looked like a wolf with a horn which was a symbol of the Donner's pack, she is a Royal!
"Can you see that? Can you? If she stays a little longer here and her pack's Alpha finds out, it might lead to war." The Luna said.
The Prince scoffed, "But her health is still in danger and I'm sure she can't go back to her pack since the guards were after her, where would she go?" He asked.
That was the reason Queen Howell was restless, she was still so young to be a rogue, "Let's go meet your father, maybe he will have a solution to this." She concluded.
The Alpha stood up abruptly, "What??!" He thundered after listening to his Luna's explanation. "There is absolutely nothing to talk about, she has to go back!" He said.
Prince Lucius scoffed, looking at his parents unbelievably, "Just a young girl cannot cause war between two distant packs because of a common dispute." He said.
Luna Howell went closer to her son, "You can't understand, Lucius. She is a danger to our pack!" She tried to coax him but he wasn't getting any of it.
He shook his head. "That girl is dying and you want to send her away? Fine! Tell me the dispute between our pack and theirs, what exactly would cause the war?" He asked.
The Alpha and his Luna looked at themselves and sighed, "Son, you won't understand." King Goan patted his shoulder but he shoved his hands away.
He looked at both of them. "If none of you will state a solid reason then, she is staying!" He commanded in a chilling voice.
The guards shuddered inwardly but their faces didn't describe their fear. Luna Howell sank into her queen sized chair, "I knew he wouldn't listen, he is already attached to the girl." She muttered.
King Goan also sat on his throne. What a son he has! So stubborn and cold, he will definitely be a strong Alpha for the pack but he sincerely hoped he is not making a mistake by trying to make the girl stay in the Alphaeus pack.
Prince Lucius entered his room in a rush, his eyes colder than before, "Why did you make me an Alpha without my permission?" He growled angrily.
Freedma shuddered, he was the one to be blamed but he was only following orders from his Alpha. "I'm sorry, my prince but...I was just following orders." He answered.
Prince Lucius scoffed. "Whose orders were you supposed to follow, mine or my father's?" He thundered and Freedma just hung his head, he was shivering inside and didn't know what else to say.
The Prince scoffed angrily, he has to see his parents about this, "You are demoted to an ordinary guard from now on, I don't want to see you anywhere around my room or wherever I go." He commanded.
Freedma dropped on his knees, begging and sobbing. "My prince, I can only serve you. Forgive me but I can't do without staying by your side." He begged.
Prince Lucius removed his hands from his legs and pushed him out of the way. "I don't want to see you unless I call for you." He ordered and left the room - becoming an Alpha without his permission? How was it even possible his eyes became red without an Alpha's coronation?
Freedma bit his lips and stood up, watching as the Prince left the room. I will not leave your side because of my obedience to the Alpha, I have sworn to serve you! He promised and also left the room.
