Falling for Mr Billionaire.

Normal life that's what I only wish for my life would be, where I can walk out of my house freely and hang out with my friends that's what I had wish for all through my life. I wonder when will that day come.

I felt someone grabbing me by my hair and dragging me down the stairs and as I open my eyes I saw a bunch of men in the living room almost breaking everything in the house and mom was standing there at the corner trying to get lose from the hands of those two men who were holding her by her arms,I look in front of me and I was shock to see a man with a knife ,he approach me and began to brush it through my arms piercing it,blood was dripping from my arms ,I cried out in pain as well as mama was crying and begging them to leave me but the man with the knife continued his torture and just as he was about to stab the knife deep into my arm ,dad along with my uncle John ,who is a cop came in.

"how dare you hurt my family??"dad shouted angrily.

Mom was able to free herself and came running towards me ,pushing the man who stab me and held me tight....

"you all are under arrest,you can't escape now"uncle John said.

"so you think you can put us all in lock up but don't you think the police station will be a bit too much for the whole society and even if you put us in ,we will eventually come out one day and when that day come ,we will do worst until we kill and tear her into pieces," he threaten ,"and Erica remember we will torture you until you are death",he said with a smirk.

Upon hearing that I cry harder under mom's neck,and she hug me tightly, rubbing my back ,comforting me.

"enough of your bullshit and don't you dare ever try to lay a hand on my daughter ,I am warning you all ," dad said angrily before he put his hand on my back.

After that Uncle John and his team took them away,even if they took them away,I still kept sobbing thinking about what had happen, what the man said and whether they will come back or not,those tboughts kept me scared and after sobbing for more an hour ,I fell asleep.

When I open my eyes mom and dad were sitting there looking after me and just as they lay their eyes on me,mom approach me and cup my face with her right hand,"sweety, are you alright??"she asked worryingly to which I just nodded.

"are you hungry sweety" dad asked.

I shook my head though I am hungry like hell ,I was too scared to even eat nor to drink water.

"sweety at least have this fruits,you haven't ate nor drank anything, please,"she said pleadingly.

But again I just shook my head,

"sweety please drink this, for your mom and my sake,please"he said with a sad smile.

When it comes to my parents sake ,I can't say anything and so I took the glass and before drinking I said,"dad ,will they co-come ag-again to ki-kill me..."

"No,sweety they won't ,I will never ever let them touch you ever again,I promise"he said ...

I nodded and began to drink the milk.

After 5yrs since that incident,I tried my best to maintain myself,trying not to show my weakness in front of anyone including mom and dad ,who always stay by my side every now and then which I am really fortune to have them as my parents

And yes I had recently graduated from my high school and really wanted to enroll myself in a college but staying at home means I can't pursue that and I can't really keep on going like this home school,also I really am bored sitting around the house ,with no real human friends ,I really envy those girls who always pass by my house after school and...,"Erica...."I was brought back from my revive ,I turn around to look at my mom, who was walking towards me full of fear and worried all over her feature.

I left what I was doing and stood up straight,to wish her but before I could speak, I was cut off,"why are you here outside ???haven't I told you before you aren't safe...."she yelled .

I was taken a back for a second but then a smile made its way on my lips "yes mom,I know but I really am bored sitting inside all day doing nothing and I needed some fresh air too,"you all must be wondering why I am smiling at this time when she seem angry but to tell the truth I often smile a lot after the incident few years back and mostly this days,I am smiling way lot more but yeah,that's what keeps me going on with my life.

I approach her and held her hands,"mom, are you angry mommyyyy...come on mom please smile please and you know right I don't like sitting there inside all day long...",I said but she was still standing quiet and I in return squeeze her hand...

I shake her hands and said with a puppy face... "mommy...mommy please smile mom....mom please",

she turn towards me and gave a gentle slap on my checks and finally a smile creep its way on her lips ,she shook her head before she finally spoke,"you and your acting come lets go in".

With that said I gave her my brightest smile and nooded my head okay,I cling on to her arm and headed inside the house.

It was around two in the afternoon ,I was lying on my bed and scrolling through my cell phone browsing some designer outfits ,then I heard a commotion down in the living room,so out of curiousity I decided to go down and check on what was going on. As I came down ,I saw a man in a fine grey tailored suit with a navy blue tie and a woman in a black knee-length dress with a red block heel shoes and I must say,she look quiet elegant .As I was observing them from the stairs the woman catch her eyes on me and stood up and said in her happy and sweet voice....

"oh my,my Christy,Calep ,is she the one, your daughter and my daughter-in -law?".

Mom ,dad and the man stood up and turn around to face me,

"oh yes Corey she is,Erica sweety ,do you remember them your uncle Robert and aunt Corey?", mom asked.

Uncle Robert??aunt Corey??

I stood there like a dumbbells until uncle Robert uttered something,"so she is our Erica ,isn't she is like her mother, honey?",uncle Robeet asked.

"yes, she sure is....more beautiful then I expected her to be,"aunt Corey said with a big smile on her face.

"Erica come over here "mom called out.

I nodded and walk towards them nervously and confuse,who are they??uncle Robert,aunt Corey???and as I came and sat beside mom,that word daughter-in-law ring inside my mind and I ask "mom ,what did aunt Corey meant by daughter -in-law???"

They all turn their eyes on me until mom spoke nervously, "mmmm---actually sweety we need to tell you something."

"tell me what??"I question her back,I am so nervous now please don't let it the one which I am thinking right now.

Am I getting married or something??Oh God no!!

"actually sweety we should have told you from before but we thought that it wasn't the right time...we are sorry,"mom said ,sadness was evident in her voice but I am still confuse.

Okay please explain mom??

"what is it mom??",I question her again.

"you see Erica you had been married off to you.."I cut my dad off,

"what ma-married ???",I asked ,my voice stutter.

"yes,sweety you are married with their son"mom spoke.

"you mean aunt Corey and uncle Robert's son"I asked in disbelief ...

"Erica sweety ,I know this news must have startle you,hearing all this ,and this same expression was on my son's face as well when we told him about both of you....and Erica sweety we want you to come and live with us there and try to get to know Richard "aunt Corey said.

I didn't say anything and sat there like a dumb person, just staring at my sweaty and shaggy plum.

Aunt Corey sat beside me and place her hand on mine,"sweety I know you must be confused about the whole thing but when you come with us you will be able to understand slowly and also you will be able to go to college there and do whatever you want freely."

Whatever aunt Corey said was all true because when I go there in New York I will be able to enroll in a college and be able to explore and do what I really want,freely but ....but I don't want to leave my parents here alone...I just can't ....

"But I can't go there leaving my parents here alone....who will take care of them,when I am gone??"I asked with sadness and worried.

"sweety you don't have to worry about us mama and me ,we'll be fine here you just go there and continue your studies and also be with your husband ,try to know him ,"papa said smiling,I look up at him with sadness.

"Erica you go and live your dreams there and make us proud,and never forget that you are about to marry Richard again",mama said with a sad yet, at the same time a serious tone evident in those sad voice.

"about to marry again....what do you mean by that again???"I asked confusingly....

"actually Erica ,when we I mean us got both of you married you were too young so we decided that when both of you enrolled into college we will let you get married again...Richard is already at the end of his college life but you are about to begin now...so Erica come and stay with us in New York...."uncle Robert said ...

I look at both my parents,they seemed really stressed and eagerly waiting for my respond and on the other hand uncle Robert and aunt Corey were expecting a 'yes' from me....I was confused as hell whether to say' yes' or a 'no'........

I decided to fulfill my parents,aunt Corey and uncle Robert wish to go with them to New York,upon hearing my answer which is yes,their faces were all lighten up with happiness and joy. My parents, aunt Corey and uncle Robert began to talk and I on the other hand was just there listening to their old stories .After talking for half an hour aunt Corey and uncle Robert went back to New York,but not before informing me that they will come back after some few days to take me with them to NY......

As they went I was just sitting at my usual seat and lose in my thoughts but finally my thought were short when mama came and sat beside me and asked,"sweety ,what are you thinking??"

"mama ,I am thinking what will actually happen to my life when I go there??I mean here my life is full of horrible past and nightmares ,I can't even step out ,have to be home school my entire life and now,going there, will my life be normal I mean can I have peaceful life like others"I asked with fear plus in confusion....

Before they open their mouth they both look at each other and a smile appeared in both of their faces and papa spoke first,"of course you will sweety ,your life will take a complete turn over and this will be the beginning of your new life,so relax you don't have to be nervous nor scared and Richard will be there to look after you as well,after all you are his present and future wife."

Upon hearing that my face began to heat up and I hid my face on his arm,"papa,I am nobody's wife ,I am only yours and mama's daughter"...I hug papa arm tightly.

He let out a laugh,"yes,yes,you are and you always be"he said and place a kiss at the crown of my head.

5 days passed by quickly and it was the day for me to leave for NY and I seriously don't want to leave them here but I have to because I can't stay here like this ,trap inside the four walls of my house,so I made up mind to go with aunt Corey and uncle Robert ..not to meet my so called future husband but to study,to explore myself,to know what it feels like to be out ,also I really want to graduate from a college ,so that I can help my parents after college,'mmm yes I ,will,come on Erica,you can....no you must do it' my inner self encourage....

After packing all my stuffs ,I came down to the living room ,where my parents and aunt Corey and uncle Robert were all waiting for me. As I made my presence known upon reaching,mama asked"sweety,are you ready??"

I just nodded .....

"okay ,so my sweetheart ,you behave properly alright and no going out at night and listen to your aunt and uncle,alright"papa said in a strict tone,and I just nodded.

"Caleb relax ,she is adult now and she is matured enough to make her own decision and yes,one thing more she is going at my place not to a boarding school so don't you try scare her ...."uncle Robert said before placing his hand on my shoulder ,signaling me that he is against my papa's short disciplinary lecture....

"yes, papa I will listen to them"I said and papa is right I have to maintain myself and be in my best behavior even though uncle Robert maybe against my papa's disciplinary lectures and I am really going to miss that for a long time....

After saying goodbye to my parents,we flew off for NY. It was about 5hours flight and when we get off from the plane ,we headed to Winkleman's resident and it again took around 2 hours for us to reach and I was too tired from the long hours of traveling .When we reach the mansion,it was like a palace ,my house cannot be compared with this big house like palace....as I was oggling at the house with my mouth wide open....aunt Corey snap me out from my dream,and said "Erica come ,lets get inside"

I nodded and follwed them inside,when we enter I was greeted by the maids,butlers and bodyguard ,which made me take a step back.

Aunt Corey noticed me and she smile and said"come Erica ".

"o-okay"I replied with a stutter and step inside the living room and sat down on the couch...

Then a man walk in probably a secretary by the way he is dressed from head to toe and his posture and mannerism resemble .He came and stand beside Uncle Robert and said "sir,he is here"...

"okay!!!"Uncle Robert said sternly...

Who is here ,whom are they talking about,who is coming??same questions were repeating again and again on my head......

Then I heard a footstep coming from the entrance at the same time I saw a smile forming on aunt Corey face and I turn around to see why she was smiling and boomed....what I saw was like a dream an angel in human form.
