Fake In Love

"Cut!" The director said.

I love my job as an actress, I can say that I'm proud of myself. As a 22 years old, I can say that I'm living everyone's dream in becoming a star. I love acting, I've been acting since I was a kid.

Maybe I'm lucky since my parents are from the industry. I guess the blood runs like a river. I have a twin brother and his name is Seth. He's a swimming athlete and he's older than me by 3 minutes.

"Jess, we're done for today right?" I asked my manager.

"Almost, you only have one interview left." She told me as she looked at her schedule book to make sure.

"Okay then!" I checked my phone and saw a lot of notification from my friends and some guys who has been hitting on me. His name is James. He's a famous actor too. It's not that I don't like him but I'm still not sure about my feelings. He's a really nice guy and always care for me.

As for Rick, he's a singer and he's been hitting on me since last month. He's so much bolder than James, he's not afraid to tell the world that he likes me. He loves to send a lot of flowers to my set too.

After done at the set, I'm on my way to the interview. I'm hungry and really need to eat.

"Jess, can we stop at the coffee shop near here? I'm so hungry." I said.

"Yeah, sure." She stopped the car and I got out to see the bakery right beside the coffee shop. Oh there's my precious cinnamon roll.

"One cinnamon roll please."

"Cinnamon roll one."

I said it together with someone right beside me. I turned to see Sky Valentino. He's a famous actor too and I can't believe we ran to each other here.

"This is the last one, who's first?" The staff said.

"Me." We both answered it at the same time and I turned to him completely glaring. I love my cinnamon roll and will never let anyone take it.

"I saw it first." He said.

"I ordered first." I said.

"I'm the first to get here."

"I was the one who said it." I hissed.

"Oh really? I said it first, Deandra." He emphasized my name.

"Okay, you two need to stop fighting. We can cut it in half and you two can pay half half." She said smiling sweetly.

"No." We both said to her and she looked so confused.

"Can you just back off?" He said and rolled his eyes.

"No, I won't. How about you Sky, you can back off.. that's my cinnamon roll." Thank God that there's only us in the bakery or else.

"Deandra, it's mine. People do be lying when the call you sweet, you're like an evil witch!"

"You did not just say that."

"I'll take it!" Sky said.

"No! I'll take it." I said sweetly to the staff.

"Let me pay double."

"I'll pay triple."

"Listen, Deandra. I saw it first so don't try me.."

"I'm not afraid of you!" I hissed.

"Here!" The staff bursted and we both turned to her. She already cut the cinnamon roll into half.

"Why did you cut it?" My heart broke.

"You two bicker so much, you both are famous. Since I like you both so much, I decided to cut in half." She smiled.

"We don't share."

"I don't know her!" Sky pointed his hand at me.

"Take it." I put the money and walked out from the bakery with half of cinnamon roll.

"Hey!" Sky called me but I got into the car quickly.

"Go!" I told Jess.

"What took you so long?" She asked.

"Nothing, let's just go." She drove me to the studio. They already prepared me a waiting room. My hair stylist changed my hair into a pony taul and do a little touch up for my make up.

"Be ready in 5." The staff said.

"Okay." Jess said. I walked outside and almost bumped into my cinnamon roll stealer.

"Ugh!"

"You again.." Sky hissed.

"Why are you two here? Go to the studio now!" The staff pushed us both to the studio.

"Ready?" They asked and I nodded.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Sky.

"I should be the one who asked you that." He rolled his eyes.

"Please welcome Sky Valentino and Deandra Rose!" The MC announced.

"Shoot.." I hissed.

"Why? Don't want to do an interview with me?" He whispered before walking out.

"Good evening, Sky and Deandra." How are you guys?" Mike asked.

"I'm good." I smiled.

"Always good, always." Sky answered with a big smile.

"I'm actually nervous to interview you guys. I'm such a fan." Mike said nervously and I smiled.

"I don't know if you two have seen the poll from StarStruck yet but people are dying to see you two on the same screen." I raised my eyebrows completely surprised.

"I actually saw it yesterday." Sky said.

"You both are on the top of the list. Do you have plans to work together?" Mike asked curiously.

"We don't have plans yet but I just hope one day we will have a project together." Sky turned to me and I winked at him. The whole studio adored us.

"So Sky, your last movie was hitting. 2 million views in 3 days, that's a really impressive." The whole studio clapped and Sky chuckled.

"Thank you so much, I worked with an awesome team and not to mention with Timothy Dorren!"

"Can you maybe spill your newest project? Your fans have been so curious."

"Well.. I can't spill much but I have been shooting for something." People cheered for him.

"We will be waiting for that, Sky! How about you Deandra? How do you feel about your last series? We all love it so much that we can't wait for the sequel!" I turned to Mike.

"Awesome! I love the project so much that I took it immediately and I'm glad that the people love it!" People cheered and I turned to Sky.

"Well.. I can't wait for the sequel too and.. I can spill a little here since I got permission from Sarah. We're working on the sequel and we're going shoot it by the end of the year." I said and people went crazy.

"Everyone has been wondering your relationship with Matthew Evans. Is the ship sailing?" Mike asked and I chuckled.

"We're really good friends so.. sorry." The intreview went smoothly and we're enjoying it. I told some funny stories that happened on set with Matthew and I bet the media will write it.

Sky told his stories too and I can say I enjoyed it. He's a good storyteller despite his annoying ass. People love him and he's indeed a lovable guy in front of the camera but not behind the camera.

"So you both have know each other right? What do you think about each other?" Mike asked and I turned to Sky.

"Well for me.. she's fun and like to mess with people. She's a bubble of joy." He looked at me and smirked.

"Sky is annoying sometimes but I enjoy his company. I would love to work with him in the future, I think he will be fun to work with." Lies and lies. They don't need to know that we're fighting a lot behind the camera.

I dated a guy name Isaac and he's an actor too. My agency wanted to publish it so I get more attention but I didn't agree to publish it. I never want my relationship to be public because it'll be a mess.

After a long fun interview, we're done. Since we don't have other project together, we don't have to interact again. It's hard to talk to someone who is too cocky. I walked to my waiting room.

"Good act, out there." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Good for you too." I said as I patted his back.

"I just hope we never have to work together again." He hissed.

"Oh I hope so too!" I glared at him.

"You're such a princess!"

"You're such an asshole!"

"Cinnamon roll stealer!" He glared.

"I said it first!"

"I did!"

"Listen asshole, I just hope one day your fans know how much of a jerk your are!" I wanted to punch him so bad.

"What a childish thing to do, bring up my fans. Do you have fans though? Do your fans know that you're such a brat?" He looked at me coldly.

"Ugh! I hate you!"

"I hate you more.. with every cell of my body!"

"Asshole!"

"Childish bitch!" He smirked and with that I decided to walk away from him. I walked back to my waiting room.

"The company called and they want you to go to the office tomorrow." Jess said.

"Oh okay.. what time?"

"Nine, I'll pick you up at your house okay?"

"What is it about? A new project?" I asked curiously.

"Maybe."

"Okay, let's go home. I'm so tired after making a new enemy today." I said as I grabbed my bag.

"Enemy? Why? Who?" Jess was surprised. She knew that I'm not the type who will make a random enemy.

"Sky, that bastard, the person who stole my cinnamonroll." I said and she looked at me disbelief.

"I can't believe you two."

"He's a jerk."

"Let's go home and cool down that head of yours." Jess chuckled. I walked out from the waiting room and bumped into Sky again. I glared at him and he pushed me with his body on purpose.

"Okay.. you two." Jess said holding on to me before I can smack Sky's head.

"I'll kill you one day!" I hissed out enough for him to hear.

"I heard a minion talking.." He mocked.

"I'll see you in hell, Valentino."

I'm on my way to the office and I don't know why they call but I'm guessing I'll be getting a new project. Today's weather is nice too.

"What do I get this time? Drama? Series? Movie?" I asked my manager.

"They didn't tell anything, I'm assuming a new project." She said while texting someone. My phone rang and it's Rick.

"Hey." I answered.

"Hey, beautiful."

"What's up?"

"Are you free tonight?" Oh boy, not again. He's going to make me watch movies together. I hate going undercover. Wearing a mask and a hat and a lot of scarf makes you more suspicious. I looked at my manager and she shook her head.

"I'm tired these days, I can't hang out tonight. I'm sorry." I told him and he sighed.

"Tomorrow?"

"Where are we going? I mean where do you want to go?" I asked.

"I want to go to dinner with you and then we can watch some movies at my place."

"Private right?"

"Of course, Deandra. We both don't want our private lives to be out there right?" He chuckled.

"Right."

"When?" I have to give him a chance too. These days James have been busy because of his new series. He just messaged me and Rick is now free after dropping his new album.

"Okay. We can go tomorrow." He said in a cheery tone. "I'll pick you up at 7."

"What should I wear?" I asked.

"Just casual, I want you to feel comfortable."

"Okay."

"See you tomorrow, beautiful." I ended the call and Jess looked at me suspiciously.

"Rick?"

"How do you know?" I asked.

"It's obvious. You don't like him but why are you giving him a chance?"

"I kept rejecting his offer and this is my first time I agree." I sighed and I saw a message from my bestfriend, Tina. She's a model and we're bestfriend since childhood.

Tina: Hey stranger

Deandra: Where are you now? Let's hangout.

Tina: Paris, baby!

Deandra: Too far!

Tina: I'll be home next week, we can hangout by then.

Deandra: Miss you!

Tina: I'm guessing you have something juicy to tell, wanna call?

Deandra: It's okay, we can catch up next week!

Tina: Love you.

Deandra: Love you more!

We arrived at the office and I got out first. Jess will park the car. I walked inside and went straight to the meeting room. Everyone already gathered and I guess it's either a movie or a series.

"Hello Deandra, I'm Michael Simon. The producer." I was greeted and I smiled.

"Deandra."

"I'm Stuart Coleman, the director." The other man introduced himself.

"Deandra, we have a new project for you, called Spring Sparks." One of the staff said and I nodded. They gave me the script and I sat down.

"We think you're really suitable for the role, the director picked you without needing any audition." The staff who gave me the script said.

"It's a romance movie, hate to love genre." She added and I nodded. I took time to read the synopsis and some of the blurbs before going into the script.

"My name is Cassie here right?"

"Yes, you're Cassie."

"How about the other main lead?" I looked up asking the question curiously.

"We will let you know about it soon, we're currently discussing it."

"When will it start?" I asked.

"So you'll accept the project?" Her eyes widen and I nodded.

"Why not? I love the synopsis already." I said and the team cheered. I chuckled and some of them gave me a hug.

My phone rang and it's James. Since everyone was busy talking, I excused myself.

"Hey to my favorite girl." He said as I picked up.

"Hey."

"How are you doing?" He asked and this is what I like about James. He has the charm to make everything light.

"I'm good, how about you?"

"Good. I miss you and your sweet voice."

"Oh really?"

"Too bad I'm so busy filming, I might kidnap you when I'm free."

"I'm going to be busy soon, I have a new movie coming."

"Really? That's great. Who's the guy?"

"Still don't know." I chuckled when he asked about it right away.

"I never got to work with you."

"I know right, too bad."

"Hope we will, hey.. I gotta go. Miss you lots, beautiful."

"Bye, miss you too." I ended the call and I walked back to the meeting room. I sat down and they were talking to the director.

"Deandra, we already found the main lead." The staff said.

"Who?"

"Sky Valentino." NO! I looked at her in horror and she looked at me confused.

"Sky?" I asked again.

"Yeah, is there any problem? He was our first choice but he said he had something on his agenda so he didn't accept the project." Why did he come back then?

"And then.."

"When we send him the script and he liked it, he agreed all of the sudden!" She squealed and I smiled awkwardly.

"So.. he really agree to this?"

"Yes, you both will sign the contract tomorrow. We will meet up with him and discuss about the filming schedule." Shoot!

"Can.. can we get another guy?"

"He's the one who will fit the character well. Is there any problem, Deandra?"

"No, I'm okay."

God, you hate me huh? This might be my worse nightmare.
