"Let's do this." Says Azie through gritted teeth as she stares to her acquaintances and gave each of them sharp looks and a nod.

Amara Azrail Freyja known as Azie 17, high school student from Marie university who'll spend 2 hours inside the detention room after kicking some bully's ass along with the headmaster's son- Arius Claeg and his little circle of friends.

Little did they know that, everything started to fall into chaos as they soon found out what happened outside the soundproof average room.

Azie's POV

"Seriously? You really beat that freak face?" Annoyed, I just nodded at my classmates repeatedly asking me after they found out what I did yesterday outside of the school.

"You're so damn Azie. Promise." Yeah right.

"Serves that bully. He's such a mobster."

I just shook my head and just take my air pods out of my bag. Just gonna listen for anything new on spotify.

There are still a few minutes before our class starts and so we are still free to do whatever we want to do before our homeroom slash first subject English terror teacher enters. Mr. Dunn.

"By the way, have you heard the news last night? There is a virus that is spreading fast from South to East." I heard one of my gossip girl classmate says.

"Really?"

"Yes! I heard that too last night."

"Yes, and so what happened?" My forehead creased at what they said and suddenly, I became interested.

"They said that a patient at Agnes Hospital was diagnosed with an inexplicable disease 3 weeks ago. First they put her in quarantine because the disease she got was eccentric and it was in her body. It might be deadly or can harm people but later on, the result was said to be negative and harmless, like you know, kind of a disease closed from runny nose, so they allowed her to leave the quarantine center. But guess what? 3 days ago they found the woman who was quarantined, and she turns out to be such psycho!" It's Chelsea. She's one among the gossip girls in the class.

"What?"

"That's gross!"

"What happened to her?"

"She may gone crazy because of you Chels. You are such a gossip!" One of my classmate said then laugh. I just rolled my eyes and diverted my attention to my phone trying to focused on the game I'm 'bout to play.

These girls were crazy.

"Shut up Nadz!" She blurted.

"Fine! What happened next?"

"You wouldn't believe me!"

"Why?"

"Well it's really gross because she just chewed someone's-"

"Okay listen up everyone! Get back to your seats! Sir's coming!" Yva shouted- our class vice president.

"Yeah, yeah, here comes the old hag." I murmured to myself and yawn. I badly missed my bed right now.

Later, he entered the room holding his favorite book, laid it on the table in front of him and adjusted his specs before facing us all.

"You all seemed relaxed huh?" He said and wandered his eyes inside the quiet room.

Everyone remained silent and waited for what he would say next.

"I'm going to deal with all your silly doings later. Ms. Yva, you will be the assigned person today since you're classroom president got sick." Almost at the same time, we all breathed a sigh of relief because of what he said. I shifted uncomfortably to my seat as I tried to focus my attention to him.

How come Derek is sick? He who loves taking care of his body and health? He doesn't even want to get wet in the rain so he always had an umbrella in his bag and jacket.

Some of us even thought including me that he's a gay.

"That's why Derek isn't here now." I heard someone said.

"Aww is crushie sick? Should I go to his dorm later?" One of our classmate joke and everyone starts to grunt.

"Heh!" I don't know why, but I'm starting to feel nauseous minute by minute.

"Shut up kiddos. Well, let's proceed to the thing I'm going to announce. I've guessed you already heard the news lately?"

"Yes sir!"

"Huh? Is there any?"

"What news?"

"About the spreading disease, is that right sir?" Sir nodded and adjusted his specs for the second time before proceeding.

"That's good. Now listen, the teachers decided to cancel the classes starting next week due to the contagious epidemic that's threatening the population of people nowadays. So, in order for us to make all the students of MU safe, I'd like to remind you all to stay indoors for the next few weeks and wait for further announcements of the president regarding this matter. " Hearing this, everyone can't stop hiding their joys.

And I'm one of them. Like, why not? No one wakes up early to take a bath and go to class. No one can be late and no one can be detained because they got late.

No assignments, projects, role-plays and performance tasks. In short, it'll be our rest. Our naps. And whatsoever you call it.

Believe me when I say that MU doesn't pressure everyone to get high grades, it's the students parents.

I am 100% sure, that will be their reasons if we are ever asked why we do not want to have a class.

"Quiet." Everyone immediately fell silent after hearing sir's deep voice.

"Well, to be honest? You shouldn't be happy about this, because this is a serious matter to deal with. Every students must stay inside their respective dorms and aren't allowed to linger inside the campus starting tomorrow." Everyone groaned as well as me.

"What is that! Thought I can see my crush!"

"Darn! I still want to roam around!"

"Why ?!"

"And! There will be guards who'll roam around each floors to make sure you don't break the rules." He added.

Darn that.

"Aish kainis!" My classmates reacted differently. I bit my lower lip in annoyance and can't stop talking back either.

"You can't understand us old hag since you ain't a student anymore." I butted in that made everyone shut up and turn their gazes to me. But my eyes only glued to the teacher in front.

Searching for any hint of anger on his face but all I see is amusement. He smirked and then his face becomes emotionless again.

"Maybe you're right about that miss Freyja. But don't think I didn't know what you've just done outside the school? Like beating a bully?" He said amusingly.

Ahh shit.

I just bubbled my mouth and rolled my eyes.

"Two hours detention room miss Freyja." He politely said. And since I was irritated by the way he spoke I stood up in my chair and took my bag.

Everyone's just staring at me as I walked towards the door smiling mischievously.

"My greatest dream sir." I wave him good bye then leave the classroom. I even heard my classmates laugh before the door closed.

I just shook my head and walked on this quiet hallway of MU towards the detention room.

Darn, how's this? My 3rd time going to DR.

Before I forgot, my name's Amara Azrail Freyja also known as Azie. I'm 17 years old and a 4th year high school student of M.U. I'm not a gangster or what.

Just an average normal girl with a long brown silky straight hair that reaches my hip, 5′6 height, dark brown eyes, pointy cute nose, pinkish lips, a small round face and a pale skin. I've been studying in M.U for 4 years since me and my family migrated here in LA from Australia to where I grew up. I'm half Filipino and Australian. My mom's Filipina and my Dad's Australian. I'm not raised in Philippines but visited the country every Christmas break.

"Miss Freyja, you again." I smiled sarcastically at the staff assigned this week to the detention room when I arrived in front of it.

"Ain't happy to see you too Jean." I said then went inside after he opened it.

"Enjoy your 2 hours detention." I just shook my head then went to the end of the room where a leather brown sofa was positioned before going to bed I first approached the window then opened it a little. We do have aircons but I don't care since this school is a hella rich. They can pay the electricity bill and stuffs.

"This.. so peaceful." I whispered and closed my eyes.

Quick description of Marie University

Marie University also known as MU is a Filipino dormitory school in Los Angeles California built by the owner itself on the coldest season of November 2003 occupied by Filipino students who migrated from Philippines and other international students who wanted to study and learn Filipino cultures and aspects via Filipino teachers and staffs.

Azie's POV

"This is all your fault Dearil!"

"Why me?! It was Gifflet!"

"What? I didn't even do anything here."

"Whatever!"

I opened my eyes in annoyance to see someone coming inside the room.

"Can y'all shut up?" I said in a very low tone. These buggers. Tch!

They all turned their attention to me as if they had just seen an angry person for the very first time. I saw the girl raised an eyebrow at me.

"And who are you?" The short girl asked pointing a finger at me. Actually, they are all four.

I think we're just same age and obviously same school. One girl and three boys.

The one who asked me had this shoulder length (almost) blue straight hair, fair height, pale skin and somewhat cute but too loud which I hate the most.

The other guy that's standing beside her had this powder orange mullet hair, somewhat 2 centimetres taller from the girl, fair skin and had a grumpy look like all he wanted to do is just sleep. Handsome? Yes. But ain't my type.

The other guy beside him had this dark aura, cold and blank God-like face, black messy hair that still looks good and suits him and lil' taller than Orange hair guy.

And lastly beside that guy with God-faced like, standing a guy with irritation plastered on his face while staring at me with a smug look. Kinda tall among those two guys, tan skin, messy blonde hair and yeah, handsome too.

In fact, they're all handsome and pretty.

The way they walk screams power and arrogance. I just rolled my eyes at them before talking.

"Don't you make any noise. You are disturbing me. " I said then turned around and lay down on the sofa again.

I heard the girl gasp.

"What was that? Do you guys know this girl? " She asked.

"No, and shut up Kaliya." And with that simple five words, that girl named Kaliya shut her freaking damn irritating mouth up and everything became silent.

Good.

I heard a chair screech and definitely, one of 'em sat there. 10 minutes of deafening silence when,

"I'll never go to stand near you orange hair freak!" I heard one of one them says.

Holly cows! Are they gonna start again?

"Shut up Gifflet. You look gay. " I just squeeze my eyes shut, my mind counting from 1-10.

"Do 'ya want some punch Dearil?"

"Come on! Be serious!"

"Do you really think I'm kidding?"

For the moment, I was just stopping myself from punching someone straight to their faces.

"That's it! This D.R. was a quiet place before you four arrive! Can you just stop bickering each other? My gosh!" I said annoyingly and messed my hair up- a habit that I do whenever I'm annoyed.

"Temper issue girl?" She gasps and smirked at me. I just stared at her blankly.

"Excuse me miss. First of all, D.R is not made for people like you who are just loitering while classes are going..." Says, orange hair guy.

"....second, this D.R. is not just for you." Then he points at my direction.

This guy!

Because I have a temper issue, I quickly picked up my shoe and threw it in his direction but the idiot quickly avoided it so it hit the other one which is, that man with Godly face and dark aura.

The girl gasps again, and seriously? Does she have any respiratory malfunctioning or what?

And heck, why am I getting nervous once our eyes met? Jesus!

Instead of saying anything, he just kept looking at me.

"What? It shouldn't be you okay? It should be that arrogant man but you're blocking the view so yeah, it hits you chazos. " I said then pointed to the guy behind him who had this biggest winning smile in his life.

Remind me to punch him later please.

I was about to wear my shoes when this guy suddenly grabbed my hand and steal my shoes away.

"W-what! Give that back to me chazéveis ómorfos ántras! " I blurted and tried to reach for my shoes.

"Get it, if you can arketá." His voice sends chills towards my body as he said that, I froze.

"Y-you can understand me?" I said stunned. He just grinned and grabbed me by the waist.

"fysiká ómorfo." He whispered to my ear sending tickles.

"Ayt, you guys needs to stop speaking some Greek language right now." I just heaved a sigh and move away from him.

"Are you sure you really don't want to give it to me while I'm still kind?" I asked while my hands were on my waist trying to act my cool.

I can't let him make fun of me and his friends.

To névro!

Suddenly, his friends fell into silence.

"Uhh why am I bothered by her question?" That's Kaliya. I smirked devilishly. You just don't know what I'm capable of.

"No." He said, still making fun of me.

"Is that so?" I nodded first then took a deep breath before walking towards him.

I looked at him straight to his eyes and put both of my hands to his face. He froze.

I smiled sweetly and tiptoed so that I can clearly see his God-like face.

I saw him gulped and closed his eyes. I smirked and did the thing that I'm itchy to do.

I headbutt him hard. He screamed and bend his body letting go of my shoes and holding his forehead.

"Oohh, wish don't leave you any marks kópanos."

It seems that none of the four expected me to do that so they gasp in shocked. I took that chance to snatch my shoes from the hand of this gorilla in front of me and then walked away with a smirk on my lips.

I kinda felt dizzy so I head straight to the sofa without saying anything and slumped my body there.

Damn that hurts!

"Y-you...!" I heard the girl stutter trying to say something when all of a sudden we heard a loud scream outside.

Azie's POV

We all rushed towards the window that I left open awhile ago and curiously look for someone who just shouted like its their end.

"What the!"

"Eww! So gross!"

I quickly covered my mouth to prevent myself from gagging out all the food I ate this breakfast because of what I just saw.

"Shit! What the hell is that?" Arius said in disgust.

"Dude we don't know." Gifflet replied.

I stood up straight and then looked at the school grounds where two school guards were already holding the blond woman with bloody clothes and mouth.

They took her away from another student lying on the bermurda grass because when we opened the window earlier, that blonde bit the face of another student so the five of us almost vomited.

The school's medic team approached her which also caught the other attention of the students in the field. I just kept quiet and watched what was happening, especially the woman that the two guard's holding.

I feel like something bad is going to happen.

"Weird." Kaliya whispered.

"Why?" I can't help but ask and get nervous. This familiar feeling I felt a while ago while staring straight at our H.R teacher's slowly gnawing back at me making me uncomfortable.

"Look at that girl on the ground. Guess she isn't breathing anymore. " She pointed the girl. The medic who did some medic skills to her is now panicking and repeatedly cpr the woman but they can't do anything because the woman is already dead.

"Tsk. If you're the one bitten in the face, 'you won't lose your life?" Dearil said sarcastically that caused me to stop.

"Shut up Dearil! It's creepy and gross kaya!" She groaned.

"Tsk. Come on. Let's just go back and wait for our release time." The three of them followed what Arius said while I was still at the window.

I really do had a bad feeling about what will happen next.

"Hey dwarf! You stay there? " I ignored Arius' question and remained serious on watching.

"Hey look! That girl's still alive!"

"Yes! Yes! She's moving!"

"She's alive!"

"Gosh! Such a miracle!"

My eyes widen to what I've heard and quickly turned my attention to the woman when I saw her head move.

"Impossible..." I whispered.

I balled my fist while watching intently on the school grounds wishing I'm just too paranoid when in an instant everyone who's watching the event that's taking place, started to scream.

"Holy shit!" I backed away when the woman suddenly bit the medic near her.

The noise increased even more when one student bit another student. The four starts to approached my place to see what was happening below.

"W-what is happening?" Kaliya asked tremblingly. The five of us just sat on the ground while no one was looking at the apparent war zone field because of the amount of blood that is now spreading and the people that started biting each other.

I shook my head sideways and shut the windows quickly then the noise faded as the D.R were built soundproof.

"W-we need to get out o-of here." I stuttered. While they just looked at me like I've grown four heads.

"What?! Don't you see what just happened outside? They're in chaos! We should stay here for our safety!" Dearil spat clearly in panic.

"And don't you also see what'll happen to us if we stay here? we'll die of starvation you idiot." I said calmly and rolled my eyes. We maybe were in the state of doomed but I won't let stupidness empower us right now.

"Can someone explain what the fuck is that?" It was Gifflet on serious mode.

"You heard the current news right?" I almost slapped them four when they shook their heads in unison.

"So first of all, where were y'all when the teacher announced about the spreading virus at the moment?" I asked annoyed how they will become an actual idiot if they leave this place as soon as we saw what happened earlier without even planning carefully. They just avoided my stare and so I heaved a sigh.

"As what our H.R teacher said earlier. There's some type of virus that is currently spreading fast, obviously it infects. I've heard its trying to threaten the population of humans. So the teachers decided to cancel classes and stay inside the respective dorms until further notice. As what I've remember too, one of my classmate said that there is this girl in Agnes Hospital, whom virus and disease personalities on airports detected has one on her body and so they quarantine her and do some test yet its harmful and so they let her go. But , just three days ago, they say, the girl becomes aggressive." I said and shrugged.

"So you mean, that blonde becomes aggressive because she was infected?!"

"Looks like it."

"But why did that girl rose from the ground when they declared she's dead?" It was Kaliya. We froze.

"That.... we don't know." We became silent for the moment thinking what's the reason behind it before Gifflet decided to break the silence.

"Why do I feel like we should call them zombies?"

"That's ridiculous Giff, you know?" Kaliya said before laughing nervously.

"Dude! Zombies doesn't exists okay?" Dearil seconded.

"Hard to believe but I'm starting to compare symptoms of that two girls to the definition of zombies in movies." I almost choked hearing Arius.

"We're not in some kind of drama okay?" I said. But my inner self refused to believe.

"Then what are you gonna call them?" I heaved a sigh first before dismissing the topic.

"Let's forget about that first and plan on how to get out and call for help." I stated. Their shoulders drop and nod their heads at me.

"Right. First we need to locked the door and the window for our safety." They all checked the only door and the window that I opened earlier and carefully locked them. Well, its not really necessary for us to do it since we're on the third floor and the thing is, the D.R's lock was on the outside like we're on a prison cell.

They made it because the last years, D.R. room always gets attention every single day because when the student's professor came, this room is empty. Meaning those students actually ditch D.R. and the ones who guarding this always get a salary deduction.

"Done." I nodded at them as they took a seat and form a circle. I glanced at the only picture frame here on the room and took it. I fished the marker I always brought with me and placed the two things in front of us.

They all stared at me, I shrugged.

"Let's start."
