Reedah's Pov

"What did you just say ma'am?!" I bellowed, letting out a shocking gasp after listening to what Vivian's mother was telling me.

I heard a slight chuckle from the other end before she replied, "I mean it, Reedah. Don't be too surprised, since you're the best pack tutor, you should be expecting something like this from us."

I gasped for more air to enter my throat as I heard her saying those words. Well, don't blame me for being so surprised. It was no easy feat for even most pack members to enter the Pack House, more or less being honored with an invitation!

Unbelievable!

"I still can't believe it, ma'am," I said, truthfully and my student's mother giggled once again.

"Why don't you start today?" She threw another shocking question and I almost lost my breath this time.

"You... you mean, today?" I sputtered, still unable to grasp the sudden news.

"Yes, Reedah, my children will be so excited to see you," she uttered, her voice soft and pleading.

It truly was happening and I wasn't dreaming. Maybe I should give myself a hard slap to wake up?

Ahhh! I wanted to scream but I controlled my emotions.

I took a deep breath before finally coming to terms with the invitation. I had to accept the proposal, because why not? I was going into the Pack House to teach!

"I will be right there, ma. Give me a few minutes," I promised.

"I'll be waiting," she uttered and soon ended the call.

I became restless as I found it difficult to even press my fingers on the screen of my phone because of how shocking the news had gotten to me. I still couldn't believe I could become a private tutor for the Pack House meant for Royal children? Was I dreaming?

Never in my life would I believe anyone who told me I was going to one day enter the Pack House, the most difficult place you could ever set your foot on. Whosoever gets the chance to go into the Pack House of Silver Spring Pack mustn't be an ordinary pack member, more or less an Omega like me.

It was impossible.

But then, the Beta's wife called me and asked me to come tutor her children there since they were told never to ever leave the Pack House due to how restless they behave if they get out of there.

I was filled with joy and happiness. I've never been so happy in my life before. Seriously, I was entering the Pack House for the first time ever since I was born.

"Why don't you come today?" Vivian's mother's voice rang in my head again.

In no second, I was already hurrying out of my cottage, arranging my teaching books and everything I would be needing into my handbag. I almost ran my way to the pack house that was a few meters away from home.

After a few minutes, I stood at the entrance of the gate waiting to get entry from the Pack guards that refused to open up the gate stating they needed to confirm if truly I was asked to come teach my students in their home.

I guessed I waited for almost ten minutes before one of the guards, who seemed like their head, signaled his hands, telling his colleagues to let me in.

"Hurry up!" A guard yelled when I started to take slow strides into the pack house.

It was as if I was entering into a furnace of fire. The same way I was excited was the same way fear gripped my heart. What if something goes wrong?

What would be my punishment especially now that I was already in the monstrous Alpha's abode, Alpha Jasper. The most powerful Alpha all over the territory. Alpha Jasper, someone you shouldn't mess with, someone who wasn't scared of death or afraid to eliminate anyone that comes in his way.

He was a rude, arrogant, brutal Alpha feared by everyone in the pack including his friends.

My eyes scrutinized the Pack house and my mouth parted ways in amazement. Just as expected and how those who had gotten the chance to enter into the Pack house had described, it was a big fancy mansion. It was so gigantic that each time I passed through the huge gate, it was impossible to see what the rest of the pack house looked like.

"What are you still standing there staring at?" The guards that were asked to lead me into the pack house broke into my thoughts and I came back alive.

"What?"

"Can't you move?!" One of them snapped.

It was then I remembered why I had come here in the first place. I apologized for my rash ignorance and hurried after them as we made our way into the Pack house.

I was soon led into the Pack house and it didn't take us a minute before we got to the Beta Wife's abode.

"Good day, ma'am," I greeted Vivian's mother with a genuine smile on my face. I know I might appear stiff because of my fear, but I truly appreciate her.

Her gaze traveled to my direction, a sweet smile curled on her lips as she trotted towards me, spreading her hands to receive my hug.

"It's nice to meet you in person, Reedah. Oh, what a beautiful girl you are!" She bellowed, complimenting my look while I stood, smiling back at her.

"Nice to meet you too, ma'am."

She made some gesture, "Come, come, follow me to the kids room, they've been anticipating you," she gushed out and I chuckled, excessively.

We got into the kid's room and after lots of greetings, I began my teaching. As the Pack tutor, I teach the infant pub some certain things they need to know about themselves, how they are different from humans and many more.

"How do we know humans when we see them?" Vivian asked and her two siblings nodded their agreement.

I smiled at them and squatted to their level. "Through their scent, you can detect a human," I told them but their expression was looking all confused.

"You will know a human when you see them. Their energy is weak unlike us," I added for more understanding and it was then they changed their countenance.

I continued my teaching until Vivian told me she was in need of water. I looked around the room and saw that there was no water in the bottle they had in the room. When Vivian saw my facial expression, she smiled reassuringly.

"I will go ask mom for water."

"Yeah, sure. I will appreciate it," I said, nodding my head.

|Few moments later|

Vivian wasn't back for over five minutes and it got me worried. "Where could she be? I thought she only needed water," I said to myself as I gaze at her other siblings who were busy with writing down what I've taught them. "Cassy?" I called one of them.

"Yes, Teacher Vivian," she answered.

"Finish up your work and stay back inside, I need to check on your sister," I told her and she nodded her head.

In no seconds, I was out of the room as I began to call out Vivian's name but she wouldn't give me any answers. After checking the whole chamber and still couldn't find her, I sniffled in the air to catch her scent and discovered it was far away. Where the hell did she go?

Without hesitating a bit, I headed for the door and went outside, not after shutting it to avoid the other kids from coming out too. I trembled as I took slow steps through the passage, hoping that I would find Vivian as soon as possible so I wouldn't get into trouble but then, Vivian's scent seemed to go farther. I became scared. Her mother wouldn't like it all.

I continued to hurry through the corridor when suddenly I sniffled in a scent. It was a sweet strawberry fragrance, very alluring and it made my body become very active.

Before I knew what was happening, I began to trace the scent and not long after, a hand suddenly gripped me and I saw myself inside another chamber with someone, pinning me aggressively to the wall.

Where was I?

Alpha Jasper's Pov

"Here I am, Alpha," my guard answered immediately as he walked into my chamber.

I turned around to face him. His head was bowed, waiting for my decree. They always shiver at my presence, not that I give a damn but today I was getting irritated.

I needed to see Anna.

"Get me the Luna. Tell her I need to see her this minute," I ordered, wanting Anna as soon as possible. I was finding it difficult to control my emotions.

"Yes, Alpha," he pronounced and turned to leave.

I hurried to my bed, pulling out the closet beside it to bring out a bottle containing a scent that I had gotten from the sorcerer. I curled a smile on my lips in satisfaction.

I had just returned from my trip where I went to visit the greatest sorcerer outside the pack on behalf of my substitute Luna, Anna. I've been mateless for years and Anna had been my substitute since I've not been able to find mine. I care less of the fact that she wasn't my mate, in fact, I love Anna alot and wished she wouldn't just be a substitute to me but the real Luna to my pack.

Anna was the lady I've decided to spend all my life with and I wouldn't think of loving someone else except for her. Even if my mate appeared, I would reject her instantly.

However, the issue was that the pack wouldn't give Anna the chance to become their Luna. The day I was to make her my Luna, there was a protest in the pack, refusing me to be mated to her. I was downcasted at that point and explained to them that I might never find my mate but they still refused to make Anna my Luna, asking me to wait for my mate.

When I saw things were already turning chaotic, I had to make her my mistress while awaiting my so-called mate who I couldn't lose.

But then, one certain day, a thought ran through my mind and it was about Anna giving me a child, maybe that would at least convince the people to take her as their Luna. I shared my thoughts with her and she agreed.

However, for three good years, Anna was unable to conceive which was a bit frustrating. I hated the fact that she wouldn't give me a child but I couldn't love her less.

Left with no other option, I thought of reaching out to a sorcerer whom I remembered to be able to cook some portion that would let Anna give birth. I visited him far away and he gave me a scent for me to use on Anna so she would conceive a child. I was fulfilled and felt like the happiest man on earth at that moment. I couldn't wish for any other thing than to always have Anna by my side. She was everything I've got.

I roamed around the room, waiting patiently for Anna until I found myself gulping down some wine from the table, feeling all anxious. The scent was to make her lay with me and give me a child and I didn't want the opportunity that was given to us to be a waste. I can't keep going back to the sorcerer.

I gulped down another cup of wine and continued to. I was impatient. We needed to act as fast as possible before we end up losing what we wanted.

The door suddenly burst open and without thinking twice, I knew it was Anna even when Anna wouldn't just barge in without a knock but I didn't want to think about all of that. Any of her actions was pleasing to me at that point of time. I didn't mind.

I staggered to where I saw her since I was already feeling drunk, not even able to view her face well but I could tell it was her scent that missed with the one I was given which brought out a lovely fragrance.

I didn't wait a second before I got to her using my inhumane speed and clamped her onto the wall, feeling like I should eat her up as I was already hardened down there with my wolf dangling over my head, wanting me to get inside her as soon as possible.

I groaned softly as I swallowed in her scent, straining my tongue from her open chest to her neckline while she groaned in satisfaction. I held her tightly to her dress while she wrapped her hands over my neck for her to make a good stance.

"You're so beautiful, Anna," I complimented, tasting her eardrum as she continued to answer with the moans and groans, gripping me hard like I was going to escape from her.

I moved my head back to her face and tried to look at her but her face wasn't too clear to me yet I didn't mind too. I could still see her face properly as soon as we're done, it was not an issue.

I suddenly grasped her by her waist and lifted her up, walking over to the bed as she wrapped her legs around my core. I tried not to make too much groaning sound while she did the most since my hands wouldn't leave the tip of her bosom.

I laid her gently on the bed and climbed onto her and within some seconds, we were already exchanging a deep aggressive kiss that one could ever imagine. For the first time, Anna was showing me the hot side of hers for the first time and it was amazing. We both became so good at it that our wolf didn't suffer much.

I reached out for her dress and began to pull off everything that was in between us. Anna did the same thing and we ended up naked on top of each other while I didn't waste any more time before entering into her.

Soon enough, we were already riding against each other, making sweet melodies from the sounds we were making softly. I was pleased, Anna was becoming too good in bed which could be caused by the scent but it was still awesome. At least, it was a fabulous night for us, she could be naughty all she wanted. Throughout the whole night, I continued to express how much I love her and would want her to forever be for me.

Just when everything was over, I opened my eyes in the morning to see Anna... but she wasn't my Anna.

"Who the hell are you! You dare deceive me!" I bellowed in rage, ready to strangle the daylight out of her!

Who the hell was she?

Reedah's Pov

I couldn't move a limb since everything in me all felt numb. Was I dreaming or just reminiscing? What had gone wrong and why must I find myself in such a situation? Had something gone wrong somewhere or was it really real? I kept asking myself yet no answer.

I heard my wolf howling inside my head while I tried hard not to scream out my lungs knowing it could be real. How did I end up in so much mess?

"Who the hell are you! You dare deceive me!" A voice brought me out of my reverie.

Not just the voice but the murderous aura around me cannot be ignored. Who did I make a mess with? Who did I sleep with all night long and my body willingly accepted him?

Before I could say anything more, he threw my clothes at me and walked out of the room in anger. Shamefully, I grabbed them and managed to put them on quickly. Not long, a guard pushed the door open without knocking.

"Stand up and follow me!" he ordered, giving me a stern look.

Without another word, I followed the guard who led me to the throne room. As soon as I stepped into the room, I was pushed roughly to the ground.

"You made me lie with you, bitch! How dare you walk into my chamber!" He growled, his voice sending tingles as I looked up at him. He looked and sounded furious and I could sense his rage hovering over the throne room where we were.

My mind answered the question that he was wrong but my mouth wouldn't open up to say a word because how could I be so stupid to tell him that I didn't even know when I got to his chamber? All I could remember was that I was looking for my student.

"You are looking for Vivian and you ended up in his bedroom?" My thoughts also questioned me, laughing sarcastically to the excuse I was giving.

"Speak up!" The snarl came in from him again and I found myself hugging the ground, praying silently for it to open up and swallow me into it. "I'm speaking to you, h**lot! Say something before I snap your head off your neck, tart!" He bellowed one more time, accusing me of being a whore.

Then would someone help me explain to him that I didn't just have sex all by myself? Tears rolled down my cheeks in pain. Tears of being innocent and as well guilty of my action. What if I didn't accept to come to the pack house? What if I didn't leave to look for Vivian, would everything have been different?

"What the hell were you looking for in the Alpha's chamber?!" A female voice resounded into my ear in rage and I knew it would be the Alpha's substitute Luna, Anna.

I felt bittered.

I couldn't imagine the situation she would be in at the moment. A stranger slept with her mate, how impudent!

"Speak up, you whore!" She added and the guard that was beside me gripped me by my hair, raising my head to look at the raging faces in front of me.

I gulped down my saliva, heavily but couldn't maintain eye contact.

I watched him step down from his throne and began to walk to where I was. When he finally came face to face with me, an electric shock coursed through my entire body which brought me to a realization that I was mated to the Alpha. My lips parted in amusement, same as his as I captured his surprise to discover we were mates.

After a deafening silence, with our breaths mixed in a rhythmic pattern. But alongside the attraction of being mates, other emotions surged from him.

"You're my mate?" He asked, solemnly. His voice was gone from the shock.

Everywhere went tranquil, only my sobbing could be heard.

"I have no idea," I told him with a pleading tone and a snarl came out from him.

"What's your name?!" He snapped angrily, covering the distance between us and raising my head up to face him. "Answer me!"

"Reedah."

He let out a sarcastic laughter and began with his rejection. "I, Jasper, the Alpha of YellowStone Pack reject you, Reedah as my mate!"

It was the end for me.

I had just found my mate and I had been rejected at the same time. Why did life have to be so hard on me this time? What have I done wrong? Was stepping my foot into the pack house my sin?

"I will never be your mate neither would you be mine. Leave here this instinct and get rid of anything that will link us together, is that clear?" He warned, aggressively but I kept crying.

That was my only hope.

He gave me one more look before he passed me and walked away out of the throne room. Did he just leave me all alone like that?

"I hope now you can understand that you don't have any place with the Alpha. If you think you are his mate and have every right to sleep with him and bore him a child then I guess you know now that you're wrong. My Alpha will never have someone like you as his mate, not even an Omega to bear his child. So, find your square root and be a good girl," Luna Anna said bitterly, her face stern like an ice, her eyes blurring red like she would churn me up any moment.

I lowered my gaze from her to avoid the devious countenance she was wearing on her face while I prayed silently that she wouldn't get more upset and end up destroying me. I would be so glad if she spared my life and she did.

I saw her legs take some steps away from me before she also stormed her way out of the throne room. As soon as I heard the door to the throne room shut out, I fell to the ground, ready to cry out my eyes.

The guards were the ones who obstructed my cries, telling me to take my leave and that the Alpha must not meet me there any longer. It took me a whole lot of courage to raise myself from the ground before I began to stagger away, making my way out of the pack house back to my home where there wouldn't be any humiliation.

I pledged to myself at that moment that I would never have anything to do with the Alpha. I had rejected him also and would make sure I never get to meet him again in my life.
