End This War

"Kajic baby," Ultear said to get her son’s attention. "Could you lend your arms to Mommy?"

Her son footed in front of the mirror as continued to observe himself while combing his hair. It seems every move he made up. It could cause a stir in his hair.

His long and straight blonde hair was above his shoulder. Sometimes, the people he encountered come to mistaken him as a little girl, when they looked at his back, exclusively whether his hair loosed or tied up.

Ultear twitched her head unbelievably. She knew her son was too excited to face Kylie and let her best friend know he was her most handsome nephew.

When they're having a video call, and her son Kajic always introduce himself like, "Hi, Aunt Kylie! I'm your cutest and handsome nephew!"

It was inevitable that Kylie would open the topic about her children’s father. She always mentioned an unfamiliar name on Kajic. The name of the man Ultear does not want to meet ever again. And she remarked as always. They had the same face, although the way they spoke and acted, was different.

Ultear was happy at her friend she was talking to, who was far from her child. A woman who will love her son surely and will never experience what she had feel with the man she loves before.

She slapped her head gently. She wanted to throw away all the things that played on her mind.

Ultear did not want to open again the topics about the man who gave her pain. But it came out again and again like a wave. She just wanted to bury it inside the casket and completely forget all the memories she has from him, except for her son.

She was tired of doing nonsense things. She cried several times, she was shedding tears because of a jerk who wouldn't even care about her feelings. Maybe next to come out on her eyes is blood.

"Will you get my phone?" she added, her pointed fingers pointed on the table.

The phone rang ends. The second time, it rings again. Kajic gives a little bit of his attention to hear her out. He turned his head to her as his lips pouted and looked into her eyes.

"I can’t, Mommy. Look at my hair. I don't have time to fix this," he answered. His finger pointed at his long hair as his lips pouted again.

"I can’t get it because I'm pinning this tightly." She was referring to the luggage in front of her.

She sighed. She cannot leave the baggage that contained clothes for the two of them, as she now secured. Because if she does not pin it down, it will explode, and as a result, she will fix it again. It loaded. She still does not know if she is capable to zip it off.

She does not want to reduce the clothes that Kajic puts on because she knew her son is the only one who will win in the end.

She will get him sad, and she does not want to make it happen. Kajic smiley face gives her motivation to face all the problems she faced off.

Kajic puts all his clothes inside the luggage. He thought they would stay in the Philippines for a year and for good, which was not. They can stay there in just less than of month. Ultear has a lot of work to do next month so they cannot stay there any longer.

Honestly, she also really does not want to attend her wedding. But that day was Kylie’s biggest dream as well as she would be the maid of honor as she promised.

Ugh! Her mind shouted, and cannot restrain to shut her eyes curtly.

She just wanted to back out from what she had promised to her best friend. The person she would be expecting will attend on that day, for Vince. Vince is her best friend’s fiancé.

She does not want to see Sting again for her sake and his sake as well.

She kept an eye on her son at every detail Kajic does. The confusion in her mind about Sting, her fucking first love, was not yet disappeared.

Because if they meet again or even have a glimpse his shadow. She is sure of it. The pains he caused may return. She does not want to hear and saw Sting’s cold stares and words of cruelty once again.

She also did not want Sting and Kajic paths to crossed. She didn’t wish Kajic to experience how painful she felt and experienced from his father.

Ultear noticed the tears ruined her makeup while looking at Kajic with a teary eyes. It was too late. Kajic saw her already.

She faced down immediately. She did not want Kajic to witness her weak spot.

Her phone continued to ring.

"I guess Ginno is calling," she said. She tried to make her voice sound cheerful.

He smiled brightly as his eyes widened. Kajic ran towards the table to picked up the phone that keeps ringing. Ginno is the only password to make him moved.

Ultear couldn’t help but smile at the ideas that entered her mind. What is wrong with those two? She couldn’t analyze the closeness they had.

She expected, Kajic to hand off the phone, and she is the one who who answer the call. But Ultear was mistaken. Kajic answered it for himself while standing up in front of her.

"Uncle Daddy, where are you?"

He stopped, and listened for the response of the person who called.

"Are you picking us?" A brighter smile stretched on his lips. "I'm excited! Hurry, Uncle Daddy, fetch us!

He stopped again without cutting off the smile on his lips.

"On Mommy? Okay."

Kajic hands over the phone.

"Hey!" she greeted.

She put the phone over her shoulder and ear, and she continued what she was going to made the clothes fitted in the luggage.

"Hey!" he greeted back. "Have you noticed my Cowichan sweater out there? I did not see it here. I already searched my luggage."

Her visions glanced at the sweater hanging on the door.

"I just left it there, I’m sure."

"Yeah." It was here, Ginno’s black sweater. She gave it to Ginno when he was turning 23 years old. Ginno was 26 years old right now, but it still looked new.

"Can you bring it with you?"

"Sure, no problem."

"Thanks."

A smile stretch on Ultear’s lips. "It is not a big deal."

"I’m almost nearby. See you!"

"I am looking forward." She turned off the call and looked at her son. Kajic full attention backed in the large mirror. "Baby, help Mommy to zip it off, and we are leaving. Do not let Uncle Daddy waits."

Kajic went near her and helped her without any pressure. He left the apartment first and went to the parking lot where Ginno was waiting for them.

Ginno snuggled down in his car, crossed his arms, plus his eyes shut for imagining something. A pretty smile curved on his lips when he and Kajic saw each other. These two guys are both excited, indeed.

She gave her full attention to Ginno in every little of his movement.

It has been almost six years since Ginno and Ultear met here in US. She was lonely, and she's crying everyday, but destiny made them meet. Ginno was a blessing given from heaven for her.

He was her knight and shining armor. And he made himself a pillow to cry on for Ultear.

Ginno helped her a lot as the year she carried Kajic inside of her. Start from what she needed up to taking good care of her son until now.

Some people they encountered assumed that Ginno was the father of her child. These people said they were cute every time they were together. And that crazy jerk Ginno, he answered yes without hesitation. So that was the great reason why everyone believed it. She could not help but hit this man every time that was happening. However, Ginno just always laughed at her and shrugged it off.

Those people they met always asked. Why aren't they just be together and get married? They will surely have a happy and perfect family.

Every time she heard these words. Ultear felt like a giant rock hit her head. She always felt that thing— always.

Sometimes, she assumed nor imagining Ginno was the man who got her pregnant and the man she loved the most. He may accept their future child without hesitation. Now that he has welcomed her son with wide arms, and Ginno treated Kajic as his flesh.

Suddenly, someone held her hand and grabbed her luggage. She just came to her senses. She looked at her side, and it was Ginno who stood next to her. Her son hugging his neck while buried his face on him.

"Let’s go? We're already late," he said and placed the luggage in the compartment.

Ginno positioned Kajic in the backseat and kissed his forehead gently. He opened the door wide for her as well. How gentleman, right?

"Thanks," she thanked him then she entered.

Ginno was a real ideal man for those girls fancying a forever. Handsome, intelligent, thoughtful, and overall responsible. All in one! And Ultear dreams guy like him.

The time has passed. The car went to the airport immediately. Their arrival was just right because there was no needed to wait any longer.

"So, what is your pretty plan?" Ginno asked, opening a topic. Kajic head leaned on his body. He played his fingers on her son’s hairs who are now sounded asleep and having some dream.

"A plan for what?" she is concerned, and her eyes looking at him. She does not have any ideas what's running on his mind.

"Your birthday is coming next week. Do you have any plans?" Ginno asked again.

Ultear shook her head also looked at the two person near them. They looked happy because the baby inside of the woman's womb kicked. A bitter smiled drawn on her lips.

Her birthday is coming up though she does not feel any excitement. Nothing has changed in the way she believed since she woke up in her dream up to now. It is her birthday and means it was also her Mother’s death anniversary.

"I do not have, but I'm planning to make a simple celebrations like we always do. With just the important people in my life," she answered livelily.

Ginno did not try to speak after his head nodded. He was looking out and breathing heavenly from time to time.

She turned her sight to the young man again and examined his face, especially his eyes. He wanted to say something, something he would be frightened to announce.

"If there are something that is bothering you, you can tell me," she asked curiously. "My ear is always open to listen to you."

Ultear raised her brow to forced him to speak. Their eyes met before he had the guts to answered.

He sighed.

She never see Ginno like this. She maybe saw it sometimes, but it was just when he's in a bad situation. And he does not even bother to tell her whatever ran through his mind.

He sighed again.

"The day after your friend’s wedding as we go back here. I wanted you to promise me right now, right here..." He stopped and looked at her eyes intently. "P-Promise me. You will accept my love for you. I’m not forcing you and hurrying you for your answer. I could wait any year longer, and I’m willing to risk my heart. But I know, Sting still has a place in your heart, would you accept—"

"Sting is not worthy of my love, Ginno," she cut him off. "My love for him was burned and turned into ashes, long time ago."

He smiled and nodded because of what he heard. No words came out on his lips. Those words that came out through Ultear’s mouth were enough for him to lighten and satisfied himself.

"I want to have a closure from him," she added though she was not sure of what she made on her mind and said that.

His smile was gone as his head puckered quickly. He did not know what he should say or ask. And Ultear caught up with his expressions.

"I'm tired of feeling this anger and resentment I had for him in so many years. No matter what I do to forget and throw away all the bad memories that happened a long time ago, I just cant't." She looked at Ginno with true-blue eyes. "It will only go away and vanish if I face him and tell him I forgive him, and we have forgiven each other."

She sighed, heavenly.

It is also the right time for her to meet him and erase all the pains Sting caused her. She wanted to forgive him so Ultear would no longer have any burden on her back and regret it, eventually. And it is the last time she would return to the country where she grew up. But her heart declined those facts.

Ultear looked at his eyes again. "But I do not need his help. Sting won’t need to provide every inch of my son’s needs. I can afford to give that. I’m already doing it with all this years, and I can still do it with the rest of my life."

"I can do that, as a father's responsibly."

She touched his cheek gently. She smiled at him. "Thank you for always being there for me. I’m grateful because I have you."

He kissed her hair as they both hugged the boy between them.

She doesn't have anymore thing to asked and prayed for. Once Ultear and Sting had settled the business between them. Ultear feels free to love again. She was waiting to make these things happened. Sting will know that she forgives him. And to be sorry for all the things she should not have done and caused.

She just wished their paths meet, and Sting can hear the words she still wants to say. The courage she had was enough to meet him.

Hopefully, Sting will found a woman that would love him, and he will love back as well. And should not hurt him like what his first love one did, because Ultear already found her Romeo, and it was Ginno. She wish him luck!

Ginno, Ultear, and her son going back to the US and live a happy and peaceful life. She dreamt of a happy family when she was a kid.

She winced at the things running in her mind.

Sting was the person in her dream and fulfilled that cloud castle. Maybe they were right. The dreams we had won't ever come true, instead it was the opposite that awaits us.

"Kajic's here, my one and only handsome nephew!" She's not mistaken. Those words came out from her friend's tongue as the three of them headed at the waiting area.

Her son ran through Kylie's place quickly, with a pretty smile on his face. It doesn't matter to him if he bumped against other people who's blocking his way.

"My Pretty Aunt!" he stated as Kylie lifted him up immediately. His lips landed on her cheek.

"Ugh! So heavy!" She acted like it is hard for her to carry Kajic for minutes. "It seems you ate plenty of foods, huh?"

The boy's head nodded slowly. She was right. Kajic was eating plenty of food this past few days.

"How are you? Did you get jetlagged?"

Kajic twitched his head for one time and gave another kissed on her cheek before he spoke.

"Nope. I am a strong big boy like my Uncle Daddy," he said with a smile curved on his lips and looked at them. Ginno was next to her as his arm stretched on her shoulder.

Ultear brows raised secretly as she witnesses Kylie made off. She was the only person who caught her forced smiles, and Vince, the one who stood next to Kylie, did the same thing. There is something that bothered her inside of those forced smiles. She tried to solve it in her mind, but nothing happened.

She was confused if she was the only one who noticed them or is she just imagining something? But never mind, it looked like they are just like that to embarrassed her only. But not on Kylie. She was always like that with Ginno every time she saw him on the screen. Her rolling eyes and deadly stares, that was she always do. She could not understand. Vince did it as well.

Kajic put his mouth to Kylie's ear and whispered something. He didn't want anyone to hear what he was about to say. But Kajic's voice was so bright. Whatever he whisper to someone, it can be heard by everyone because of his loud voice. "But, my stomach was aching. It is a duty to chow plenty of foods."

They chuckled secretly. See?

Ultear head twitched, unbelievably.

They headed to the restaurant a short distance from the airport. Vince’s said, the foods he mentioned are all delicious.

The atmosphere between them is still there, and it is because of Kajic's none stop talking. He tells them what he sees outside of the airplane.

With a smiled on her lips, she looked outdoor. She was gone for a few years, and this place has changed very much. The buildings here upgraded, and these vacant grounds also had restaurants being built.

The car was continually moving. Ultear could not help herself but to stared intently at some of the houses that caught her attention. Those houses are tiny, but the house can get the attention of anyone because of the simple designs. Those architects who designed it are excellent.

"So, you had a plan to stay here for good?" Kylie opened their conversation and looked at her directly as she waits for her answer.

She looked at her friend as she shook her head and continues slicing Kajic’s bacon. "Nah! We are going back to IS and stay there for good."

"Aww!" Kylie’s lips pouted. "I thought you won't go back there. I had an excellent proposal for you, a business for both of us, and I am sure you will love it."

"I am so sorry, Kylie. That was my final decision before we landed here." She looked at her with a sorry drawn on her face and looked at Ginno’s smiley face. "We will make a new life with Ginno for good."

"For real, Mommy?" The boy voiced full of life. "You and my Uncle Daddy will get married as well? And Uncle Daddy will be my Daddy for real?"

Ultear gently touched her son’s face and replied. "Not that one, baby. Mommy and Ginno need more time to know each other more."

But honestly. Six years was not enough to make Ultear fall in love with him.

"But you two knew each other a long time ago. You have known what kind of food my Uncle Daddy likes and hates. And he knew when you had a time of the month, so he always bought you Band-Aids," he explained without catching his breath.

Ultear does not know if those people around them heard what Kajic’s said. His voice sound like a speaker. Which no one ever heard, and her problem was already answered.

Those people who were sitting near them, looked at her with a secret smile on their faces. She does not know what to so she just smiles at them back.

Then she just lowered down her eyes and answered her son with an embarrassed voice. Her cheeks turned red. "Baby, we're just friends. That's why Ginno was doing that."

"But I saw, earlier. Uncle Daddy kissed your head," he insisted.

She looked at Ginno to lend her some help. But Ginno just smiled as he shakes his secretly. She made her eyes rolled.

She thought he wasn't going to help her anymore, but she was mistaken.

"Kajic, baby." Ginno intervened in their conversation. "We are going there! We are getting married, but first. As Ultear said, we need a lot of time to know each other. Like what I always said to you, no need to rush such things. We will go there as well, but we still need more time to make things right and perfect. So, your Uncle Daddy needs your help to woo your Mommy. Will you help me?"

Kajic did not hesitate and nodded at Ginno. Kajic put his mouth to his ear and whispered. "Don't worry. I knew Mommy like you too."

She laughed, in disbelief.

"So, Ultear." Vince interrupted them. "How many months will you stay here?"

"Two to three weeks, I guess," she answered. "After your wedding, we are going back immediately."

"In that short amount of time, you will not be able to enjoy your leave. Two months are enough. You can stay in our apartment if you want." Kylie winked at her.

"My decision is final. I’m sorry again. I have a lot of things to do. I could not make my vacation that long. My boss will get mad at me."

"OH! You are a freelance model, by the way," she said as her head nodded. Ultear knew her friend was not happy with her answer because of how Kylie's secretly rolled eyes.

Ultear head nodded gently. She has nothing to tell and explain to her. Kylie would understand her anyways.

The conversation between them is getting more exciting and cheerful.

They still had a lot of things to chatted about, about nonsense things. And Kajic keeps interrupting and telling all the epic things that happened to her. Ultear does not even know if Kajic was her son because he was telling to Kylie everything about the embarrassing moments she did. While if it's Ginno, he always tells good things as always. She just looked down and pitied herself behind her hair.

She could not help but laughed when Vince is the star of their topic. Kylie told her what happened to him when he knew Kylie was pregnant. He got fainted. Ultear does not expect that part.

Fortunately, there are no customers here. They had no problem doing such uncomfortable things.

"Sweetheart, stop that. It is embarrassing," Vince pleaded while his eyes were on Kylie and making his face looked pitiful. He bowed his head while his fiancé carried on. And two of them continue to laughed until their gums almost got hurt.

Her eyes witnessed Vince’s nudged to Kylie gently. Her lips voluntary stopped at laughing and Kylie as well. Her eyebrow raised for an inexplicable reason. What happened?

Vince raised his head and looked at the entrance of the restaurant. The pendulum rang suddenly.

Their eyes landed at the two people who entered into the restaurant

Her heartbeat quickened. She lost her breath, and her palms got wet while her whole body trembled. Like she was one of the artists in a horror movie. She can still feel these old feelings.

What was that man doing here? Was this just an accident or on purpose? Her head could not stop asking it. It's a good thing it didn't came out from her mouth.

The guy opened the door for the woman who's with him gently, like she's the woman of his life. It's not bad if they two got married. Because of what she's thinking, her heart started to ache.

"Sting!" Vince’s voice breaks the silence between them. He got the attention of the man who walked on the table not far away from them. "Buddy!"

Kajic stopped talking to Ginno and looked at Sting who's standing not far away from them.

The shame Vince felt a short time ago disappeared, within a short period of time, and it was changed by delighted. He was happy to see his friend at the same place.

The man looked at them. Sting quickly spoke to the woman with him as his finger pointed to the table they were going to. The woman just nodded and continue walking. He made his way to their table without any expressions on his face. Blank and cold like a year before.

He really would not even introduce to us the woman who's with him? What craziness am I talking about ? She cussed herself in her mind and slowly pinched her right arm to put herself together.

Sting stood next to her. His presence made her mood.

The things she imagined and felt got worse. She does not know what she needs to do to take away these shirts feelings she was feeling . Her feelings still hadn't changed even a little bit until now, and she hated herself. Sting doesn't do anything to her, but he was still capable of making Ultear heartbeat speed up.

She made her eyes looked up slowly at the man who's standing next to her. She wanted to know how much the guy had changed? How handsome he has. Kylie was always proud to mention his name on their topics and how the woman was lucky to have him. And is she saying that the woman who's with him right now was too luckily?

The face of the man she loved for a long time, hasn't changed, still handsome. His face got more matured. Sting pretty expressions are still there as well. He is taller than in the past, his body was so fit that can make the girls go crazy for him and he's also wearing a suit right now.

Don't tell me, Sting already achieved all his dreams? Ultear eyes widened as she looked at him. She did not have to ask herself that question because she already knew the answer.

Sting stared at her for a moment and looked away. This old feeling was still here, and nothing had changed.

Should she greet him for not being bitter about what happened before? Or just shut her mouth? Yeah. She'll just shut her mouth until he leaves.

"Who is she?" Kylie asked then looked at me to know what's gonna be my reaction seeing him again.

The man she cursed on her friend for years was here.

"Your new girlfriend?" she added.

She regretted cursing his name, and also regretted telling it to Kylie.

"Nope, she is one of my clients. Stop assuming that I have one." He turned to the place where Ultear was and her son. The smile on Sting's face vanished quickly.

She followed his eyes where he was looking at. His eyes were landed at Kajic who continued eating and also took the bacon on Ginno’s plate.

Her plan to take away and block the child from Sting’s eyes stopped when Vince started to spoke. He is a lifesaver!

"By the way, buddy. Did you know her right? Ultear just went," Vince said. There is something in his voice. He smiled at her as his finger pointed beside her. "And her son, Kajic."

Ultear is not stupid, and she knew what kind of smile Vince has. That smile is not going to be good.

"And Ginno, you knew—"

Her son halted Kyle’s saying and added, "My Mommy’s boyfriend and my future Daddy. Right, Uncle Daddy?" Kajic looked at Ginno before giving Sting a brighter smile.

Ultear does not like to make an eye contact with her son, honestly.

No one could speak after what her son said. But thanks goodness! Her friend broke the silence.

"Ultear and my handsome nephew. Can you go with me? I need to wash my hands and fix my make-up as well."

"But, my Pretty Auntie. Look at me. I am still eating. Could you please take my Mommy over with you?" Kajic was pleased and continue eating. He never tried to look back at her or even at Sting.

She caught up the clenched fists of the man who's standing on her side. Sting is mad, for what? Is he angry because Ultear is here? Or he was angry because his two eyes witnessed the child he cursed and rejected a few years ago. Breathlessly and moving freely in front of him.

Ultear stood up. She did not know how to hide the anger she felt for Sting or if she can even hide it.

"Come on, baby. Kylie is right. We need to wash your face," she said.

Kajic pouted and looked at her before he replied, "But, Mommy, I’m still eating."

"Look at your face. If someone sees it, they will say you are ugly. You do not like it, right?" Ultear explained, trying to calm herself.

Kajic made a sneer, again. He did nothing but got off the chair and came closer at her. The three of them headed to the restroom.

She felt peace on the left side of her body and breathed heavenly as the door closed completely. She gently massaged the left side of her temple and closed her eyes for a while. She doesn't know what she should react right now, in front of her son, and her friend was both looking at her.

"Are you okay, Mommy?" Kajic asked with a worried face. "You looked pale."

"I'm fine, baby. I’m on the jetlagged stage." She continues cleaning Kajic face.

"Is that just about jetlagged?" Kylie asked her with her raised brow. "Or—"

"Kylie!" She looked at her with a threatening eyes.

She wasn't able to add what she was about to say when Kajic spoke again.

"Mommy, I want to pee!"

She guided Kajic to a cubicle and back next to Kylie.

"How was the feeling?" Kylie poked. She lower her voice. She doesn't want Kajoc to hear what he was about to say.

"Nothing special." She opened the faucet and washed her hands. Yeah. It was nothing!

Kylie already knew how she was feeling right now. She did not even try to ask and just opened another topic, so.

"What are you even thinking when you bring Ginno here?" her voice was irritated. "I expected that you and Kajic will be the only one who's going back here. Don't tell me, Ultear. You will let him stay in my house?"

"Do you have a problem with Ginno?" Kylie did not answer her but rolled her eyes. That is the right time to asked this question. "I see. Will you let me know why it was?"

"He's not good for you."

"He does. You know the good things he did to me, didn't you?" Ultear said, whispering and forced to speak calmly. "And Ginno was the first man who accepts my son. Those guys who tried to court me back out when they realized I already have a son."

"You could say that. But you did not know those people who are being nice. They are just doing it for some matters. They're trying to tricked and used you for their own will," she explained.

Her head twitched unbelievably. She does not have any idea why did Kylie say those words.

Ultear erased all the things she heard. She knew Ginno than how her best friend knows him. Six years had passed; they have been together in the US. That was enough for her to get to know him thoroughly.

"Ginno is not like that. He is a real man with ambitious and responsible. No one can match what I've seen in him, even Sting." She looked away.

Kylie just twitched her shoulder, in disbelief. "Okay, I will let you tell from time to time how he was the flawless perfect person in your eyes."

Ultear did not understand her best friend's reasons and why she doesn't like Ginno. If she remembered, Kylie liked Ginno than Sting for her before. Then what happened in those ive years? Why does Kylie like Sting? Did Kylie forget that the man she was favoring right now is the man who hurt Ultear?

She sighed. She just wanted to end this day and make a peaceful rest.

She will think and gather strength again to face Sting. Because of all the guts, she has accumulated over the years. She loses it in just a couple of minutes. How incredible, right?

Ultear explained to her friend how good Ginno is especially to her son, Kajic. But her friend was always against on it and just smiled bitterly every time she will hear his name.

Ultear tried of enlightened Kylie by explaining how he helped her. She wanted to make her realized how good he is, but still, it is no used. And she was tired of doing it.

When Ultear tried to ask her what was her reason for hating Ginno? Kylie just zipped her lips and just shrugged it off. She just sighed, again and again. She does not know what she needs do to make her accept Ginno for her.

Later, when their conversation ended, they left the restroom and returned to the table where they left Vince. And the feeling she felt earlier ran through her body again. How could she throw it away to make her heart feels normal once again?

But she did not expect what was about to happen next. She gasped and covered her mouth. She could not think well why the hell it happened.

"Uncle Daddy!"

Kajic voice echoed inside the restaurant. He hurriedly ran on Ginno's side who is lying on the floor. Sting was on top of him.

Sting punched his face, even though his face was fully covered in blood. He was still on his conscious however the strengths he had, were fully drained.

Kajic pulled his collar with all his might to pushed it away from Ginno. But the strength that his son has, still not enough to do what Kajic planned on. Vince did nothing either.

Like as Sting did to Vince. There are no fear in his eyes as he just pushed her son as well. Kajic fell to the floor so hard.

"Shit!" Ultear cussed. She ran through her son.

If her son got a scratch on any part of his body, she wont forgive him.

"Are you hurt, Kajic?" she asked him with a worried voice.

She heard no response from Kajic. But he just stood up and grabbed Sting's suit, once again. But still, Sting wouldn't even budge.

"I thought you are a good person, but you are not! You are an awful person, an evil one!"

Kajic continued yelling and striking hard against him. It looks like all the blood on his body was jump on his face utterly.

"How you dare hurt my Uncle Daddy!" he added.

She expected that Sting will push her son again though she was mistaken. He stopped punching Ginno. He looked at Kajic, and accepted all the small punches he's throwing in his body.

"I am sorry," Sting said with a miserable voice. "I did not mean it."

"Your sorry was not enough! You dared to lay your filthy hands with my Uncle Daddy. You are a monster, jerk!" he yelled throughout his lungs.

"Kajic, stop that!" she said. She intervened between the two of them. She did her best not to make eye contact with him again. "It's not a good manner," she explained.

Even though she was mad at Sting because of what he did. She still did not like what his son was saying.

"He hurt my Uncle Daddy, Mommy! He needs to be punished," Kajic answered with a voice shudderingly. The desire etched on his small eyes. And his two small hands landed again on the man in front of him once more.

Ultear turned her eyes to Sting. He already stood up and held by Vince. She could see in the looked on his face and eyes.

Sting could not speak however his own eyes put the words. He was the only one who felt the pain that only Ginno should have felt.

"Kajic, let's go outside. They need to settle these things!" Kylie said with a pleading voice and held him to guide him out of the restaurant.

The client of Sting, the restaurant staff, including them, they are the only person inside this restaurant. It was really an embarrassing scene.

"But we need to call an ambulance. My Uncle Daddy is hurt, and it is because of this evil man!" he yelled and pushed her away. His finger directly pointed at Sting.

Ultear could see his dangerous eyes looked at him. Kajic is mad.

"Auntie Pretty, call the police as well!" he added.

"Kajic, stop that!" She said again. It was the first time she saw Kajic mad at someone else, and this was because of Sting.

"Ultear can take care of your Uncle Daddy," her friend said and kept his arms.

But Kajic does not listen to Kylie and shook his head, unbelievable.

"Lets go, Kajic. It is for adults only," she added.

Ultear looked at him with pleading a eyes and spoke. "Please..."

Her friend has already carried her son. Because no matter what she say he won't listen.

Ultear combed her hair using her fingers. Closed her eyes and breath for a moment. She could not believe what happened earlier. It looked like she was watching a film or she was inside the movie.

She doesn't know what to do even a word won't come out from her mouth after Kylie and Kajic left them. She was speechless and can't say the words that wanted to come out from his mouth.

No one dares to spoke or explained what was going on. Vince was silent, and Sting leave them immediately.

After what happened, they took Ginno to the hospital. Ultear didn't even think about going home. She was planning to stay in the hospital and take care of Ginno. But Ginno told her it's okay and asked her to talk gently with Kajic about what happened, that he shouldn't acted like that because wrong. It amazed her, she thought Ginno will be angry to Sting because of what he did and talked hurtful words about Sting but he didn't.

Her eyes looked at where is Vince. She wanted to talk to him about what happened earlier, but he was just silent and mad. He was angry for some reason she did not know.

Even when she tried to look at Kylie, Ultear saw the keenness in her eyes. She knew they were mad at Ginno not for the thing Sting did. She wanted to find out their reasons behinds this.

She was angry with Sting, but she was one of the people who knows him better. He's a kid person and he doesn't just hurt anyone who have done something wrong to her. She knows there's reason behind it and she was eager to know what it was.

She watched every movement her son makes. His attention was outside the window. He was still silent as his eyes did not change, a dangerous one. He has been like that since then.

"Baby, can we talk?" she called him.

She failed to caught his attention. What you did before was not good.

"He is not a good person as well, Mommy. He hurts my Uncle Daddy." He was still staring outside as if Ginno is someone magical for him. He loved him so much, huh.

"Even though he did a bad thing to Ginno. It does not mean you are in the right place to say those words. Always kept in your mind what I always remind you? If you made a fight against a mean person, you will end up being the bad one too. Come here, baby," she ordered him.

He looked at her and walked after her.

She massaged his fist gently. "There is a right time you can use your fist."

"My Uncle Daddy could not fight for himself. So, I am the one who needed to make a move. He told me if I wanted to do something what I think is right, do not hesitate to do it," he answered. There was nothing to be seen in his eyes other than the anger he feels for Sting.

"It is still not enough. Ginno doesn't like what you did either."

"But he pushed me away, Mommy! Look at my scratch." Kajic revealed his arm with a scratch he mentioned. It had a stain of blood.

"You strucked him countless of times. It is still not enough. Do you want more, then?" The look on his face changed. "And you made yourself in between them, so wlhat if you get hurt too?"

Kajic looked at the floor this time as his lips pouted. She was happy because her son understands what she was explaining. He realized all his wrong doings.

"Even though he is a bad guy. You shouldn't involved yourself with anyone who's having a conflict. It is for adults only and you are just a kid. A kid like you should not meddle in their fight. Did you know how their quarrel began or who started it? What if Ginno was the first one who started it? Will you take his side?"

"Of course, because he is my Uncle Daddy!"

"Wrong answer." Ultear pinched his nose gently and looked at his eyes. "Let us think about it. What if you and your best friend was inside the room—"

He cut her off.

"I did not have a friend, Mommy."

She closed her eyes for a bit of time. "I said, let's think about it. I am not saying you have one, baby."

He pouted once again.

"Okay, another explanation. What about it. You and your Uncle Daddy are both inside the room. Ginno broke my jar accidentally, and when I talk to the two of you. You are just telling the truth while Ginno was not." She looked directly at Kajic's eyes and watched what he would react. "What if I only believed Ginno and I'll get mad at you. What will you do and how will you feel? Even though you didn't do anything and you're just being honest. But still, it's not enough reason to trust your words and believe you."

"I will be mad. But Uncle Daddy is not that kind person. He is a good person, and he is always telling the truth," Kajic said confidently, "I'm sure that the one who started the fight was the bad guy."

"Okay, do you understand what I mean?"

His head nodded aggressively.

"But he still hurt my Uncle Daddy. I won't forgive him!" he answered and looked out.

She sighed. Every time her son thinks he was in the right he would not hesitate to fight for it even if she objects. It was probably the thing that his son inherited from Sting.

Several days had passed. Ginno got discharged from the hospital already.

Ultear could not help but feel pity for Ginno when she saw the entirety of his face. His left cheek was swelling, and there was also sore on his lip. The tooth on its gums was also damaged.

The anger Sting felt all those years was seen on Ginno's face. And she was eager to hear from Ginno what was the reason why the fight happened.

Ginno forced Ultear to return to their mansion, but she refused. She knew that her father was still angry with her. Nicholas cursed her, thrown her out of the country. That was mean he did not like to see her face ever again.

A few days after. Ultear and her friend met, and that was the last time that happened.

She was embarrassed to visit Vince because she tried to call her friend a few times, but Kylie did not bother to give her an answer.

She wanted to say and ask her friend a lot of things. The first thing is, how was Nicholas? She was worried sick about her father, because of his condition. Ultear knows that Kylie still has information about her father, so. She needs to know even with a little bit of information she has, and lastly about Sting. How did he achieve the life he had now?

Ultear thought. Sting wouldn't be able to achieved his dreams because of the background of his family, he came from a poor family and doesn't even have enough money to supply his needs. That was the only informations she had all these years because of Kylie who's acting like she's her informant.

Every time she was talking to her friend, her friend always mentioned Sting's name. She just pretended that she doesn't hear anything and acting like she doesn't care but deep inside she's happy kwoning that he's doing fine.

She remembered the day when Kylie was doing live on her social media account. She was inside at the bar where they always went. Vince and his bandmates was playing music. She heard his voice that made her heart raced once more.

Ultear mind was interrupted when she heard some voice who's now holding the door.

"Be a good boy, big boy. Do not make Ultear get tired and mad," he remarked.

Ginno visited Kajic. Even though she told him not to came here repeatedly and make himself rest first. Or maybe Ultear and Kajic can come up to his place if they had time. But Ginno was like his son, a redundant big man. He missed her son. But it is not that the real reason why he kept visiting them. Ultear knew those facts.

Just like Ultear, things ran through her mind. This guy just wanted them to leave this house and live with him. But her decision was final. She seems no problem staying here.

He gave her another choice. Ginno said they can live in his family mansion or in the house where Ginno's staying. It's okay with her if they can live for a while in there with him. But every time she thinks about Mrs. Ferrer's sharp eyes. She would quickly refused his offer.

Mrs. Ferrer would accused her of doing some things. That she let Sting beats her son. She wouldn't need to hear the words that will come out from Mrs. Ferrer's mouth because she already knew what the old lady was about to say by just staring at her eyes.

Kajic agreed while then nodded his head with a smile curved on his lips.

Ginno turned his sight on her and spoke.

"I'll go ahead, Ultear!" he announced.

Ultear answered him then nodded as well. She just continued what she was doing, cleaning the dining kitchen.

The door opened and closed signed that Ginno already left.

She glanced at her son for a moment to see what he was doing. He was watching a cartoon movie while hugging a long pillow.
