Chapter 1 Divorce

PLAK!

A loud slap was delivered by a man to a woman who had just come out of the bathroom. The woman gasped in shock. Her eyes widened as she stared back at the man's hardened face. "Why did you slap me, Mas?"

The man flinched. His breathing sounded ragged. But from behind, he heard a voice he knew well. "You deserve to be slapped, even if you have to be killed! Because you are nothing more than a despicable woman!" cursed the old woman with her face red with rage. Her right hand pointed at the younger woman.

"What did I do wrong, Mom?" she asked confused.

"What did you do wrong, you say?!" The old woman hurriedly cut the distance between them, grabbing both of his shoulders and pulling him to follow her footsteps. "Look over there! What are you doing with Rian, huh?!" she cursed loudly as she pointed towards the bed where a young man was trying to cover his naked body with a blanket.

The young woman's eyes widened in disbelief. "I-it's not what you think! I... I don't know how Rian came to be in my room, Ma! Please believe me, Ma... Mas Adit!" she said pleadingly. Her hands were clasped together in front of her chest, hoping that the man she called Adit would believe her. But the man just shook his head. His face even looked angry.

"Already caught red-handed, still dare to evade you, Sarah! You despicable woman! Get out of here! Take your child with you because I'm not sure if Satria is the biological son of my son Aditya, aka my grandson. You could be pregnant with another boy, then claim to be pregnant with Aditya's child to get into our extended family!" the woman accused haughtily. Her hands were folded across her chest.

Sarah shook her head, rejecting the accusation. She even tried to put on a pleading face to make Aditya believe her. But he was reluctant to touch her. Aditya jerked her hand away. "Mas ...," she called softly when Aditya chose to turn around, leaving her in a slump. Not even defending her when her mother threw all of Sarah's clothes over her head.

"I, the Chief Judge, hereby declare that you two are officially divorced," said the Chief Judge as he tapped his gavel on the table in front of him.

"Alhamdulillah ...," said a grateful middle-aged woman who looked happy when she heard the verdict of the religious court. The woman immediately stood up from her seat and walked over to her son, who looked sluggish after the court's verdict on his relationship status with his ex-wife.

Meanwhile, the woman sitting next to her stood up quickly upon seeing the middle-aged woman's arrival. Then immediately swung her steps towards the exit.

"Don't forget to hand over custody of Satria to Adit!" The middle-aged woman said as she glanced away, reluctant to look at her former son-in-law for long.

Sarah, who had stopped her steps, then replied, "Sorry, honorable Mrs. Malika. I am Sarah, the mother of Satria Maulana. I will never give my son into your hands, let alone into the hands of an irresponsible father like that!" After saying that, Sarah hurried to leave the room, not caring if Malika's face was now bright red with anger.

"What an insolent ex-son-in-law you are! No wonder my son divorced you!" cursed Malika fiercely as she pointed at the ex-son-in-law who had disappeared behind the door.

"Mom... stop it, Mom! Shame... we're in this court!" Aditya admonished, holding his mother's shoulders to prevent her from running after his ex-wife and picking a fight like they had.

Malika, hearing the reprimand, then turned around, so that the two of them were now facing each other. She was immediately embarrassed, because there were still judges left who saw her shameful actions.

She smiled awkwardly, then quickly dragged her son out of there.

Meanwhile, Sarah hurriedly boarded an angkot that happened to stop in front of the religious court office. While holding back the tears and annoyance that had accumulated in her chest, the twenty-one-year-old woman hardened her face so that it looked as if she was an arrogant woman.

"Stop here, Mang!" admonished Sarah to the angkot kernet when she reached the bus stop near the tenement she was renting.

"Ready, Neng!" replied the kernet as he patted the shoulder of the speechless driver, who immediately glanced in the rearview mirror in front of him.

She immediately stopped the angkot when she saw the code given by her friend, not forgetting to turn on the left turn signal before stopping the angkot she was driving.

Sarah hurriedly handed over some money into the kernet's hand while trying to smile slightly. She got out of the angkot as soon as it stopped.

With hasty steps, Sarah drove towards the house she shared with her son. Where she was now temporarily entrusted with the landlady's mother.

"Assalamualaikum ...!" she greeted as she arrived at the door of the landlord's house.

"Wa'alaikum salam ...!" replied Marni -the owner of the rented house- from inside the room while holding Satria who seemed to be chattering happily. Even his saliva seemed to be dripping down the shabby shirt he was wearing, right on the chest until it fell onto the back of Marni's hand.

"Satria quiet, Mom?" asked Sarah politely as she walked inside, approaching the two, having previously removed the flip-flops she was wearing at the door.

"Quiet! Sholeh's son, right?" said Marni, flashing a sweet smile. She handed Satria over to his mother when she held out both hands.

Sarah immediately welcomed him, and now Satria seemed to be jumping with joy, because he could meet his mother after not seeing her for almost a day, due to the trial that his mother had to undergo.

"How did the judge rule? Are you really divorced?" asked Marni as she invited Sarah to sit down, as the woman appeared to be about to breastfeed her son, who was opening his mouth wide.

"Yes, ma'am. We're officially divorced," Sarah said softly, as Satria's eyes began to close as he sucked hard.

Marni then let out a long sigh, she really regretted Aditya's attitude that easily divorced Sarah, even though the underlying thing was very trivial.

"Then ... what's your next plan?" asked Marni softly, when she saw that Satria was now fast asleep in her mother's cradle.

Sarah slowly placed Satria on the floor mattress in the corner of the living room, which she usually used every time she was entrusted to the landlord, when her mother had to work at the bakery in the Ahmad Yani road area kilometer one. Then she took a small mosquito net to ward off any mosquitoes that might bite the baby.

Marni was still waiting for Sarah to answer her question. Meanwhile, Sarah who had just finished installing the mosquito net. Then turned to the kind, middle-aged woman. "I will look for additional work, ma'am," she said, flashing a faint smile.

"Are you sure?" asked Marni with wide eyes.

Sarah nodded briefly and firmly as she turned her body around, facing Marni fully. "I'm sure, Mom! For Satria's sake and also, so that all my debts will be paid off soon," she said with teary eyes. "But...," he looked saddened because he was sure that his time with his son would be reduced after this.

Marni hurriedly patted Sarah's left shoulder lightly, making the woman turn to her. "If you're worried about Satria... there's still Mom who will be willing to help take care of your son. After all, I already consider you as my own daughter, while Satria is like my grandson. So... don't worry, son!" she said soothingly.

The tears that had gathered at the corners of Sarah's eyes came pouring down like a waterfall. The young mother was instantly numb, which she immediately silenced by biting the back of her right hand, afraid that the sound of her sobbing would wake her son.

Marni then pulled Sarah's shoulders into her arms. The fifty-year-old woman tried to calm her down. "Cry, if it makes you feel better. Because there are times when we as women are in a vulnerable position. But rest assured, after the crying subsides, your shoulders will be as strong as coral again," she said, patting Sarah's back.

"Thank you, Mom!" said Sarah after her crying started to subside. She then unraveled their embrace, wiping away the remaining tears that still ran down her cheeks.

"You're welcome," Marni replied while flashing a faint smile.

Both of them then shared a smile.

"Assalamualaikum!" said someone from behind the wide-open door.

"Wa'alaikum salam!" Both of them said simultaneously while turning their heads towards the door where a neatly dressed man in a plaid shirt and material pants, was standing at the door, looking back at the two of them with a thin smile.

Sarah, who saw who was coming, immediately widened her eyes. "You!" she squealed strongly.

Chapter 2 The Man From The Past

The figure that Sarah scolded only smiled slightly. He ignored the fact that she would hate him too.

"What are you doing here, Raditya?!" asked Sarah sarcastically, her face hardening.

"I just wanted to give you this...!" said the man named Raditya as he swung his steps towards Sarah and Marni, having previously taken off the loafers he was wearing, right next to Sarah's sandals. "From Kak Adit. He said he was sorry for divorcing Sarah. Also this is for the handsome Satria," he said while handing over a paper bag that contained nothing.

Sarah folded her arms across her chest, her face hardening with her eyes glinting sharply every time she heard her ex-husband's name uttered, no matter from whose mouth. Especially when the man's twin came in under the pretext of wanting to give something to their son. "Bring it back!" she commanded firmly while looking straight at the twenty-five-year-old man.

"Why, this is for Satria, not for you...!"

"I'm not your brother!" Sarah snapped angrily. Cutting off Raditya's words who was now only able to stand still with his eyes wide open as well as his mouth slightly open. "Bring back all those gifts! Satria doesn't need it all!" she argued while looking away to the left side.

Raditya smiled slightly at the woman who still reigned in his heart with a hardened face like this. A sign that the female hedgehog was starting to show her protection to someone she wanted to protect. "Yes... I'm sorry, Sar!" he pleaded sincerely.

Sarah closed her eyes briefly when she heard her name called by the man again. Because no matter what, their story was forced to end two years ago, just two months before she was forced to marry Aditya.

Her chest throbbed with pain when she heard the call again from Raditya's mouth. "Go home!" he commanded without looking at the man.

"I'll go home after you accept this!" said Raditya as he grabbed Sarah's right hand, then forcefully placed the paper bag which she was forced to hold in front of her chest.

"Already, no! Now go home!" pleaded Sarah, reluctant to linger with the man.

"Yes, I'm going home first, yes ... Assalamualaikum!" said Raditya self-consciously.

"Wa'alaikum salam!" Sarah replied softly. Her head was bowed deeply, preferring to stare at the closed paper bag rather than see Raditya's departure.

"Wa'alaikum salam!" Marni joined in the greeting a little louder, to which Raditya replied by flashing a polite smile at the woman.

"I'll leave Sarah and Satria, ma'am!" Raditya asked, flashing a sweet smile.

"Take it easy! They're both safe with me," Marni said, smiling politely.

Raditya nodded briefly. He looked once again at his beautiful ex who was still reluctant to look back at his face. He then smiled slightly, understanding that there was a possibility that Sarah might hate him as much as she hated her twin sister. He turned around and walked towards the exit, leaving the three of them behind.

Marni then patted Sarah lightly on the back, making her jump in surprise. "Yes, ma'am?" she asked in surprise.

"How long do you want to hate him? Didn't you say yourself that Raditya is different from Aditya," she said, questioning Sarah's defensive attitude.

"I don't know, Mom," Sarah said with her eyes darting far ahead. "For all I know, he's just as cowardly as his twin brother who can only hide under his mother's armpit!" she explained as the hateful look was clearly visible in her eyes.

Raditya, who was hiding behind the wall, was only able to let out a short breath with both shoulders drooping weakly, when he heard the honest narrative from the mouth of his former brother-in-law. He did admit that he and his twin were cowardly people, who could only hide under his mother's armpit, according to what Sarah said. With unsteady steps, she walked away from the place, heading for her car which she parked across the street.

"Don't be so hateful, kid! Because no matter what, their blood flows in her body! He's their bloodline and you can't break that bloodline, even if you use extreme means to break it!" Marni advised gently with a motherly smile.

Sarah then looked completely at the kind woman with her eyes beginning to blur again, where the tears were gathering at the corners of her eyes. "Then... what should I do, Mom? The moment he pronounced the word of divorce to me, since then neither I nor Satria want to have anything to do with him or the rest of his family anymore?" she asked in a tired tone. Her tears finally escaped as a single blink of an eye was made, as she recalled that terrible event, just a day after she gave birth to Satria.

"I understand how you feel, child." Marni comforted Sarah by pulling the woman into her arms.

Sarah then returned numb, she returned the hug tightly, until the paper bag was crushed between their bodies. But the woman didn't care, she just wanted to vent all her emotions every time she remembered all the treatment she received, both from her ex-husband, and from the man's family.

Marni was silent, she let Sarah vent all her emotions. Only a gentle stroke on her back showed that she really cared about both of them.

Sarah slowly released her embrace, as she felt a little more relieved after crying. "Sorry, Mom," she said pleadingly.

Marni looked at her with surprise that actually looked funny on the woman's round face.

"I'm sorry for crying and getting your clothes dirty with tears and ... that," she said softly at the end of the sentence while pointing at the woman's left shoulder.

Marni followed the direction of Sarah's hand, her laughter instantly breaking out when she found out what was the reason for Sarah's awkward face. But she immediately covered it with both hands, when they heard a loud cry coming from Satria's mouth.

The two of them then walked hurriedly towards the hulking baby, who was now raising his arms and legs while crying loudly, his face even turning red along with the loud crying sounds coming out of his mouth.

Sarah quickly removed the mosquito net covering her son's body and checked on him. She smiled when she found out why her son was crying so hard. "Did my son poop?" she asked amused. But she quickly cleaned up the poop her son had released with a wet tissue that was available beside the boy's body.

Marni chuckled a little at this, but a sigh of relief escaped her mouth. She was happy when she saw Sarah's smile every time she was with Satria.

***

"I'm off to work first, Mom!" Sarah said goodbye. She seemed to have finished bathing, as well as Satria who was now in her arms.

The handsome boy who inherited one hundred percent of his father's face, seemed to be blinking his clear eyes like water playfully.

"Yes, be careful on the road!" said Marni as she welcomed Satria into her arms. "Satria play with Grandma first! Satria's mom wants to work first, so she can buy a big house and a big car, and send Satria to the best school," she said, inviting the boy to talk, to which Satria only replied by salivating.

Both Marni and Sarah could only chuckle at the boy's funny behavior.

"Assalamualaikum!" Sarah said goodbye as she grabbed Marni's right hand for a kiss.

"Wa'alaikum salam!" Marni replied with a sweet smile.

She lifted her hand up, as if she was waving goodbye to her mother, right at the door.

Sarah left for work on foot, without looking back, where Marni now closed the door quietly, not forgetting to lock it from the inside.

"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim!" Sarah prayed briefly with her eyes closed for two seconds along with a deep breath to dispel the nervousness that suddenly attacked.

She resumed her steps towards the outside of Marni's yard, not forgetting to close the gate from the outside, then hooked a lock made of long nails on the wire next to it, so that the fence would not open.

With light steps, Sarah swung her steps towards the highway where night was now creeping up, just after the Maghrib prayer was completed. At the end of the road, many young people dressed neatly, like people who had just returned from congregational prayers, flocked to walk in the opposite direction to her.

"Sarah going to work, huh?" greeted a man who was in the group.

"Yes, excuse me!" said Sarah quickly, reluctant to linger on interacting with the man or all her friends, because she was not a girl yesterday afternoon anymore.

"Well... she ran away!" the man grumbled as he scratched the back of his neck, to which all of his friends laughed at his behavior.

"You're slow yourself, Rul! When Sarah was a virgin, you always said, later ... Later to propose to her. Eh ... just in time, she ended up getting proposed to by that guy from the city. Now that she's a widow, do you still want to move slowly?" urged Budi while putting his arm around Arul's shoulders who could only stare at Sarah's departure, where the woman now disappeared at the turn at the end of the alley.

Arul was only able to remain silent, because indeed what Budi said was true. "Ok deh, I'll move fast this time! For the sake of Sarah and Satria!" he determined, which was greeted happily by all his friends.

Meanwhile, Sarah could finally breathe a sigh of relief after staying away from the five men. She walked quickly again to get to the side of the highway, where the ojek she always rode was usually waiting.

Right in front of the alley, on the side of the highway, after Arul and his friends turned around, Sarah's hand was pulled by someone quickly from inside the car door that opened suddenly. Before she could resist, the person immediately pulled her strongly into a black van, then took the woman away from that place.

Chapter 3 Raped

"Let go of me you bastard!" she cried in annoyance, when she saw who it was that had pulled her by force.

"Shush...! Don't struggle, honey!" pleaded a man who was hugging her tightly from behind. Restraining her hands that were about to force open the car door.

"Let me go, Satan!" Sarah screamed angrily. Her legs kicked in random directions, as did her body which rebelled, trying to break free from the man's embrace, whose scent she recognized because it was the scent that accompanied her sleep every night when they were still a married couple.

"Shush... how come your mouth is getting rougher now, Honey!" admonished Aditya irritably, as Sarah continued to struggle. "Didn't I tell you, that I don't like it when you talk like that! Because it turns me on, you know!" he scolded, his face bright red as he fought the urge to attack his ex-wife blindly.

"You dog! Demon! Devil! Don't touch me, Satan! I don't want to!" screamed Sarah in a loud voice, which Aditya immediately silenced with his big hairy hands. While his other hand and both legs hugged Sarah's body tightly, until she could not move at all.

"Mmmm...!" Sarah tried to scream, but the gag in her mouth blocked her access. She was really disgusted to be touched by her ex-husband again.

Aditya immediately kissed the back of Sarah's neck, wanting to provoke his ex-wife's desire to follow his wishes. While Sarah who received such treatment, then stumbled while rebelling again, she really did not want to get a disgusting touch from her ex-husband.

"You'd better give up, honey. Aren't we going to feel the pleasure of uniting ourselves, like we used to do when we were still married? So don't keep rebelling! Think of it as a goodbye, because after this Mama will send me to study in London. But before that, I want to relive that wonderful feeling with you!" Aditya seduced as he started running his hands, which were holding Sarah's body, towards the areas of weakness.

Sarah tried desperately to keep her sanity when she got that intoxicating touch. She then immediately thought quickly, how to escape from the confines of her mentally ill ex-husband behind her. Although now her core was also wet when touched in such a way, because after all she knew how it felt when she was one with her ex-husband.

"Want some?" Aditya coaxed back as he saw his ex-wife stop struggling, as well as hearing the woman's breath begin to sound ragged.

Sarah immediately nodded her head, agreeing to his request.

Aditya smiled happily, immediately releasing his hand on her mouth. Where now Sarah was trying to catch her breath which was panting due to the length of time her mouth was in the man's hand.

"Untie your legs first!" Sarah pleaded, once her breathing was back in order.

"Oh, ok! Where are we going to do it? Is it in the car?" Aditya seduced again, because he really missed the warmth of his ex-wife who always succeeded in making him lulled.

"It's too narrow, Mas Adit," Sarah said when he finally complied with her request. The entanglement was released, but Aditya was still sitting behind Sarah.

Aditya then nodded his head, agreeing with the words spoken by the most beautiful ex. "That's right, yes! Then, at the hotel! I happen to be staying at the SBHBB hotel. I'm checking out tomorrow. I'll take you home tomorrow morning, at the same time I check out, dear."

Sarah nodded again, she then breathed a sigh of relief when Aditya was now sitting right beside her. But only for a moment, when his right hand wrapped tightly around her waist, until their shoulders collided. 'Adit is crazy!" she hissed.

"Move, sir!" he ordered firmly to the driver in front from behind the intercom beside his seat.

"Yes, Young Master!" replied the driver who immediately started the car towards the hotel where the man was staying.

"I really miss you, sweetheart," Aditya said happily, happy to be able to hug Sarah again, his nose turned up to sniff the neck of his ex-wife, who was now wearing a white short-sleeved fitted shirt embroidered with the name ARM Cafe and Karaoke, with an umbrella-style skirt below the knee - her work uniform as a waiter at a karaoke place -. Which she covered up by wearing a gray-green tattered sweater jacket that had a low neck cut, and three-quarter leggings underneath the umbrella-style skirt she wore, while her waist-length hair was tied in a ponytail. Which now looked a little messy with a few strands of hair coming out of the knot.

Sarah tilted her body, so that the man's nose failed to sniff her neck again. "Not here!" she admonished, so that he would stop his neck sniffing.

"Oh, ok! You must be embarrassed if you see Mang Supri! But, don't worry, Mang Supri is already friends with me, Yang, so what we do today won't be found out by mom!" said Aditya happily.

"Whatever you want! What is clear is that I don't want to make out here! So just wait at the hotel!" pleaded Sarah while smiling sweetly as she turned her head to him.

"O-ok! Of course! I agree with you! Not here, Mang Supri will want it too, while his wife has just given birth. It's impossible, isn't it, to use someone who just gave birth? It's disgusting to see all that red stuff coming out of there. Not to mention the smell that makes you nauseous! Anyway, it's really bad if the wife can't be visited when it's a red cross!" grumbled Aditya with pursed lips, which didn't match his macho stature and big height.

"So you're willing to comply, right?!" said Sarah again, wanting to confirm the man's willingness.

"Ok! I'll obey you!" said Aditya with a sweet smile that made his handsome face shine even more. But it actually made Sarah sick. "But, hold on a little, honey!" she pleaded, trying to negotiate for a bonus.

"Better just do it all, yes," Sarah gently refused. "It's better if it's straightforward than a little taste! You'll be the one who's not satisfied!" she said with a sweet smile, as she looked back at the man's face, which was now widening its smile.

"Ish... Honey, it turns out you want it too!" Aditya chuckled amusedly. "You know what, it's better if we don't get divorced! It's nice to be able to play every night! If necessary until dawn, yes, darling, yes?!" he urged Sarah to agree to his proposal.

"Yes, please...!" Sarah seduced back in a seductive voice.

"Ikh... Honey is so cute like this!" squealed Aditya happily. "So I can't wait to make love to you until morning," he said in a happy tone.

Sarah just smiled skeptically at his words, without replying. 'Crazy!' she cursed to herself.

The car they were traveling in began to slow down, when it finally arrived at the parking lot of the hotel in question. It could be seen that the driver was trying to find an empty parking space, amidst the crowded parking area with the cars of guests who were attending the wedding ceremony of a local celebrity.

"Here we are, young master!" the driver exclaimed as he opened the curtain between himself and the rear passenger seat.

"Ok!" said Aditya happily. The man then opened the car door beside him. He immediately got out of the car with the door still wide open. He then ran around, wanting to open the door beside his ex-wife.

Sarah, who saw the door wide open, then rushed out of there quickly, before Aditya managed to open the door beside her.

She sprinted away, leaving Aditya wide-eyed. The man was completely shocked by Sarah's reckless action.

"Sarah, wait!" screamed Aditya strongly as he chased the woman from behind.

Sarah ignored her ex-husband's shout. She kept running, until she almost reached the hotel gate guarded by three security guards.

Aditya, who realized that he would not be able to catch up with Sarah's footsteps, shouted loudly. "Sir, please arrest that woman! Don't let her get away!"
