Maureen groaned and opened her eyes. The song on her phone was still playing. She remembered she fell asleep listen to the feels by twice.

She is Maureen Clevers, 17 years of age though she's gonna clock 18 this year. She

Is beautiful and smart yet crazy and damn rude. She doesn't give a damn about what people think of her and guess who made gr like that? Her mother.

She had an unique voice and great dancing skills and her dream was to audition and be in a kpop group but no, her mother wasn't in support of it all. She wanted her to become a medical doctor. Well enough of the introductions.

Maureen got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom to freshen up for school s d then she changed the song to "How you like that by Blackpink". She was a huge stan of kpop groups but one thing is for sure, her mum must not catch her or else she will be dead.

She got of the bathroom and started dressing up for school. She chose a casual gown and quickly dressed her hair, she grabbed her bag and made sure to hide her headset and her other phone containing songs in the another small purse then she fixed it in a place her mum wouldn't notice before she then walked downstairs. She met her mum and her younger sister, Mika having breakfast.

"Good morning mum" She said dryly.

"Morning princess, have breakfast.." She said and she shook her head.

'I'm already late for school.." She said as she tried to walk out.

"Give me your bag?" Her mum asked as she stood up.

Maureen smirked and turned back. She knew she would ask for it.

"Why mum?" Maureen asked and her mum laughed.

"You think you can fool me!" Her mum snapped and grabbed the bag from her. She opensd and brought out all the content and Maureen smirked.

Just then her mum opened the place where she kept the small purse and her heart skipped a bit. Her eyes widened as her mum brought out the small purse and then zipped it open before bringing out the headset and her other phone and Maureen gasped.

"What the hell is this Aa -re'?" Her mum yelled at her calling her by her Korean name. That's what she always does when she's angry.

"Mum...." She tried to speak but was cut off by a loud slap her mum gave to her.

Maureen gasped though she wasn't shocked.

"Shut up! I told you, I will never support this silly thing of yours. You aren't becoming a singer never, not when I'm alive!" Rachael yelled at her daughter who smiled out tears.

"And I don't want to be a doctor? What u have passion for is singing and dancing. K want to be a kpop singer. Mum, what's so wrong in doing that?" She yelled and Racheal was shocked.

"Your Dad died because of that?!" Rachael yelled back at her and Maureen smiled.

"That's what you keep on saying? But how, it doesn't make sense! And I know you are just lying.." Maureen yelled again in tears

"Yeah, I'm just lying because I won't let you do want you want. I make the darn rules here. You are my daughter and you will follow my rules!" Rachael said sternly and Maureen smiled.

"Of course godess. Your wish is my command mum but now I know you don't truly love me!" She yelled and ran upstairs in tears.

Chapter 02&03

Seoul, South Korea.

Night.

The sounds of the keyboard playing was coming from a room.

"Aish!" A woman groaned as she set the table.

"Damn those boys, they wouldn't let me rest in the house with these musical stuff!" She said.

"Tyler, Ryder, get your asses here so you can have dinner!" She yelled and then sat down. Well, she is mrs Madison, a very beautiful woman in her early thirties and the mother of the twins.

Ryder was the first to appear grinning mischievously. He quietly tiptoe towards his mother and when he got to her, he started to tickle her. Mrs Madison was suprised at first and then she busted into laughter. After she calmed down, she asked of his brother.

"Where's Tyler?" She asked and Ryder groaned.

"Mum, come on, you know how your son is. He wouldn't answer when he's working on a song" Ryder groaned and pulled a chair and then sat down.

'Go and call him!" His mother ordered and he stood up.

"Fine!" He raised his hands in surrender. He cursed silently as he walked upstairs and then he got to his room, he opened the door not bothering to knock.

"Hey, Mum said you should come out for dinner!" He said and Tyler looked at them before gently leaving the keyboard.

"I told you I want no disturbance!" He snapped as he picked up his jacket.

"Where are you taking that?" Ryder asked pointing to his jacket.

"I'm wearing it, any problems with that?" He asked as he wore it.

"You're weird.." He said shaking his head and Tyler flashed a smile at him.

"Thank God you know.." Tyler said and walked out.

"He's so different.." he muttered and then walked off.

At the dining table.

Ryder and his mum kept chatting but Tyler was mute throughout.

"Baby, don't you like the food?" Mrs Madison asked Tyler.

"Come on mum, you know that's exactly how he is!" Ryder interfered and then scattered his hair playfully and Mrs Madison smiled.

Tyler scoffed and then arranged his hair.

"Jealous of my handsome ness much?" Tyler asked as he dropped the spoon he was holding.

"Hey hold that. You both know I'm more handsome than you. Infact we both don't look like twins. I look like your older brother. But now let's leave it to mum to judge" Ryder says with a smirk and Mrs Madison frowned.

"Not me!" She said.

"Mum, please. I wanna put this arrogant kid in his place.

"Kid? Oh please I'm gonna clock eighteen this year!' Tyler argued.

"Whatever! Mum just judge and be Frank here" Ryder says with a mischievous smile.

In assessment, Ryder was handsome, he's the perfect definition of hot and sexy cause he gat the bad boy look while Tyler had an innocent charm to his beauty. He had beautiful mesmerising gray eyes and pale pinkish colour of the lips. He is hot too but his beauty was on another level.

Mrs Madison sighed and then stood up.

"I'm not judging this!" She said firmly and Ryder groaned while a small smile escaped Tyler's lips.

'Boys, your dad will be arriving tomorrow and I want us to welcome him at the airport!" Mrs Madison announced.

"There's no need for that mum!" Tyler said and stood up.

"Hey, Dad has been gone for 6 months. Don't we need to welcome him well" Ryder asks him and Tyler scoffed.

"You know I hate public appearance. Whatever, just count me out of it!" He says and walked away while Mrs Madison sighed.

USA

Late in the afternoon.

Maureen was on her bed cuddling her teddy bear. She didn't go to school today cause she was so sad. Sudden the door swung open and her mum came in panting.

"Get your bags and luggage ready!" She said.

"Why?" She asked.

"We are going to Korea. It's an emergency! Our flight has been scheduled at 5am in the morning." She said and Maureen's eyes widened. She jumped out of bed in joy and hugged her mum.

"Hey, hey, don't get overly excited. We aren't staying there for long. Just for four months and we will back. It's an emergency that's why we have to go!" Her mum said and she smiled and pulled out of the hug.

"Yeah, I'm grateful that this emergency happened. I can finally visit Korea again!" Maureen said and her mum shook her head and walked out.

"I will prove myself to you in South Korea, watch me mum" She says with a smile.

NEXT DAY.

Maureen couldn't stop smiling in the plane. She was just too happy. Soon the plane arrived in South Korea and they all descended from it.

Maureen brought her phone and started to take pictures of the beautiful country while the bodyguards carried their luggage for them.

Maureen couldn't stop smiling. She wished she could catch a glimpse of any kpop artists but sadly it was a wish that wouldn't come true. They stopped when they noticed a queue was ahead of them. Maureen kept looking around and then her eyes met with another eyes. She arched her head further to get a glimpse of him.

It was a boy. He was tall not too tall though. He had a piercing in his left ear. She smiled.

"Korean guys are cute though. She couldn't deny that the guy was very handsome then she noticed that there was another guy and a beautiful woman with him holding a banner.

"Welcome honey"

The second guys face was facing down while he worked on his phone. She sighed and her eyes met again with the guy and then the guy winked at her.

"What? Does he think I like him just because my eyes met with his!" She thought and then glared at him.

The guy laughed revealing his one sided dimples which was very cute and then blew a kiss to her and Maureen's eyes widened.

"You're a fool!" She muttered in Korean and the guy laughed again.

"I like you.." He muttered and Maureen looked away as a blush crept on her cheeks and she released the laughter that she was holding. It was funny to them both how they understood their lips language.

"Such a cute funny guy" She thought and looked his way again. She found him staring at her.

All of a sudden the second guy looked up and her jaws almost dropped. He was ravishingly handsome, he had beautiful gray eyes and that's what attracted her the most but then she took her gaze back to the first guy who winked at her again and she laughed this time.

"Maureen, come on, what are you waiting for?" Her mum scolded her and she looked away sad that she didn't get more with the funny guy. She looked there again but didn't see them anymore.

"He's cute and funny" She said as they walked away.

Who's that girl you were winking at?" Tyler asked Ryder.

"I don't know" He shrugged.

"She's beautiful really!" He said and Tyler scoffed.

"Beautiful my foot" He muttered.

"Where's the old guy?" Tyler said checking out his wristwatch.

"I wonder too!" Ryder says. Suddenly there was a commotion and people started pushing each other.

Maureen on the other hand was struggling to keep her pace. Suddenly someone pushed her and she lost balance. She closed her eyes preparing to land on the floor but then she felt a hand grab her waist preventing her from falling.

She slowly opened her eyes and then a low gasp escaped her lips.

Maureen gasped as she saw him. It was the handsome guy earlier, the one with gray eyes. She was lost staring at him as he helped her up.

"Are you okay?" His cool voice said and that was when she snapped out of her thoughts.

"I am thanks.." She said with a smile and the guy just nodded. Maureen turned back and was about to leave when she heard another voice.

"Hey Tyler, the old guy is back already, mum is looking for you" The voice said and she turned.

Ryder looked up and saw her and immediately a large smile spread on his lips.

"Beautiful, you're here.." He says with a sly smile. Maureen smiled and turned to leave but he quickly rushed to her and grabbed her forearm.

"By the way, I'm Ryder. It's nice meeting you Beautiful" He says and Maureen nodded.

"Thanks but I need to go" She says and run off before he could say anything while Tyler just watched them.

"Are you done flirting?" Tyler asked him and Ryder looked at him and furrowed his brows.

"Yeah, you always flirt around and she isn't the first" He says with an eye roll and Ryder scoffed.

"Whatever, you're just jealous that girls tend to give me more attention than you.." Ryder says and placed his arm on his shoulder.

"Hey, get your hands off me!" Tyler says and tries putting his hand down but he was unsuccessful.

"Hey, Just let's go before the old guy scolds us. You know his return is like the world war!" Ryder says and they both run off.

Maureen, her mum and her sister Mika sat in the car as the driver started to drive them home.

She brought out her phone and began to search for some songs on her phone.

"Maureen..." Her mum called and she looked up.

"For the mean time while we will be staying here, I enrolled you in a high school. So from tomorrow, you will attend the school and don't you dare try to act crazy there" Her mum warned and Maureen rolled her eyes.

Well she was known for her crazy attitudes in school, she hated bullies and she was damn rude to any one who picks on her including teachers and at a point, she beat the hell out of a student.

"Well Americans are crazy fools, let's try Koreans.." She said with a sly smile and her mum shook her head.

"What's the name of the school?" She asked her mum.

"Sae bom high school" Her mum replied her and she quickly searched for it and the results was brought out immediately.

"Sae bom high school is one of the best school in Seoul, South Korea. It's known for its excellence in music and the students of this school have brought glory to the school by receiving numerous musical awards" She read and then glanced at her mum.

"Mum, who suggested the school to you?" She asked and her mum sighed.

"It's one of my friends here since I didn't have time to look for school for you" Her mum replied and she nodded but very excited in the inside even though she knew that once her mum finds out about the school, it will be over.

She glanced at her mum and met her again typing furiously on her phone and making different calls.

"Her work issues seem serious" She muttered.

Madison's Mansion.

"Let's make a toast towards the safe coming of your father!" Mrs Madison yelled and Tyler scoffed and raised his glass of orange juice.

"Mum, I think wine will be perfect for the occasion" Ryder said with a wink.

"Young man, do you know you're not supposed to be drink. Even me as your father, I never drank once because It affects me negatively" Their Dad immediately says and Ryder scoffed.

"There he goes again with his lectures" He muttered.

Tyler was just on his phone chatting with his best friend Stella.

"I'm going to my room Dad, I need to rest for tomorrow because it's a school day" Tyler said and walked upstairs even before anyone could stop him.

"Gosh, he's still like that honey!" Mr Madison exclaims and Mrs Madison sighed and nodded.

"I'll be up too!" Ryder said and immediately walked off.

The next day.

Mauren groaned as the alarm rang in her ears. She groaned again and stood up running into the bathroom and dressed up .She said her morning prayers.

She opened her wardrobe and found the beautiful school uniform in it. It was a sky blue top with collars and a navy blue jacket and then a short black skirt with long black socks.

"It's beautiful" She muttered and quickly changed into it. She quickly dressed her hair in a fine ponytail and applied a light pink lipstick.

"I'm beautiful" She said and twirled around. She always dreamt of this while watching those k dramas and now it came true.

And then she ran downstairs.

Maureen gasped as the car rode into the school. The school was the pervert definition of money. She was sure that it's students are pretty rich. The car stopped and she alighted from it with smiles on her face and the students started murmuring amongst themselves.

Maureen didn't pay attention to them but continued looking around and then she bumped into someone. The person almost fell but she didn't because Maureen was quick to hold her.

"Hey! Watch it!" She heard a noisy voice say and she scoffed and adjusted her back pack. She made to go not until someone dragged her by her back pack and she scoffed and turned back.

"Let me give this clear warning to you all, STAY AWAY FROM ME UNLESS YOU WANT TO BREAK ONE OF YOUR BONES!" She warned them and turned to leave when she heard one of the students suddenly scream.

Maureen turned back curiously and then she gasped when she saw them. They were those guys whom she saw yesterday at the airport. The students were jeering and murmuring at the sight of them. She shook her head and then turned ro leave not until she heard...

"Where are you going beautiful?" She turned back with eyes widened. He recognised her.

He was already coming closer with a ear pod in his ear while the other was wearing a headset.

Maybe it's not her, how would he even remember her?" She thought and then turned again but then a hand suddenly grabbed her forearm. She gasped when she suddenly lost her balance due to the way she was grabbed, but thankfully the person grabbed her by waist and then her hand found it's way to his chest and she touched him there fo maintain her balance. She suddenly looked up and stared at him directly. He was the guy who was flirting with her at the airport yesterday.

"Forgotten me so soon Beautiful" He muttered as the crowd just watched them in awe while they both stared at each other.
